Ronnie, Aaron and Uros were at my condo to install my dishwasher and microwave. They were very friendly and answered all my questions. Uros noticed that my dishwasher water valve was broken and offered to replace it for me. The price was much cheaper than if I called another plumber out. They noticed my microwave was dented, so they returned it to Lowe's for me and when I called a couple days later to reschedule they were able to get me rescheduled within a week to come back and install the new one.

Outstanding service! Clint promptly responded to my initial emergency call after my pipes burst. He was in Savannah all they way from Wilmington, NC. He quickly discovered the source of the leak (unfortunately, it was under a 4-in concrete slab).Clint and Christian were both highly knowledgeable, personable, and extremely hard-working. This was a huge job--a full re-piping, front to back, of a 2700 sq ft home. They worked 7:30 am to after 9 pm most days, in 100 degree attic temperatures and outside, to get it all done in less than 5 days, even with a full day and a half delay for inspection. Clint helped me tremendously with detailed information my insurance company needed.Huge help also from Scott, in the Savannah office, on the final days and for the final inspection. Great job. All top-notch professionals! So glad I called Progressive.

They're a horrible company. Their servicemen are obviously not well trained. They were much more apt to talk to me about the cost of repair, rather than the repair itself. They made excuses why they couldn't repair some stuff. And the one thing they worked on still had problems when they left. I can assure you that Progressive will never set foot in my house again!

Tevin was the technician who installed a new toilet in our master bathroom. He was on time, giving me about 30 minutes advance notice of his arrival and was efficient in completing the job. The work area was spotless when he finished. He seemed like a genuinely nice guy. highly recommend him, the Progressive Service Company and will likely use them again.

I called the company because we were having various plumbing problems. They sent out Gary the next day. The previous plumber we called was unable to solve the problems, so we were glad that Gary was able to figure it out and clear the problems. We were pleased with his courteous service.

Technician Joe H. made my day! He was able to come behind another plumber that claimed the issue was larger than life but was really an easy fix. I have water pressure back in my showers I haven't seen in YEAR! Fast service. Excellent customer service, and Joe was very clean, making NO MESS anywhere. I will definitely recommend you to all my friends and family!

It is not a professional business. Doing job for residential service but electrician ( Jorge) charged for the commercial service. Then I called the progressive customer service in Raleigh she (Courtney) reduced the price down for residential service. She tried to explain that he is trainee for residential jobs. If he doesn't know the prices for residential services he should go home and learn it First . Do not do residential services but charge for the commercial services again!

The technician arrived on time, installed the microwave and cleaned up in record time. He had to fit a new microwave into the old duct work by trimming the duct work. I was very satisfied with his work and pleasant manner.

Ivan installed my dishwasher today which ended up being a tricky install due to the size of the dishwasher and the size of the space. He was on time, patient, knowledgeable, professional, and courteous as he completed the install. Now the dishwasher looks great and is working well.

I recently purchased a washer & dryer from a national big box retailer. As always seems to be the case, they selected a bottom of the barrel company come out and complete the installation. After much complaining, I convinced the retailer to send Progressive complete what the other company left undone. April set everything up and Martin got the job done. I can't over-emphasize just how fantastic Martin was while on-site. It felt like he was doing work for the owner of his company (I'm in no way affiliated with Progressive outside of being a happy customer). THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!

Crystal, in the front office, was great at scheduling the service and keeping us informed of the technician's progress. When Joe S. arrived, he got right to the annual cooling inspection. Jeremy was my guy today. He installed a dishwasher. He was polite from the start, lots of yes sir no sir, being former army. But I also think he was raised well. The company was quick to respond to my inquiry and had me on the schedule for the day I asked. Cain and James arrived when it was stated that they would and were extremely profession in laying out my options. They go the job taken care of and did an excellent job.

They returned my call. They worked on getting us service. They came and was able to get us back in service. They left a service report when they came but I could not read all of it. When they sent me a bill it did not have the hours charged to the job nor what all the charges were for.

Have received 3 quotes since progressive came out because I suspected the price was inflated. Not only we’re the electricians performing more diagnostics (and thorough), but came in $400+ lower than the price quoted.

Progressive was responsive to our plumbing issues. Marcus (plumber) was professional and worked diligently to resolve the issue(s) so we could get back to life.

Justin Sanders and John Cook diagnosed and replaced my water heater today. I have the premium repair plan with PSNC, Justin explained exactly how the plan worked. When I asked about tankless water heaters he explained the pros and cons so I could make a good decision.They arrived on time and took a couple of hours to complete the install. Both Justin and John were very nice, friendly, and actually helped me move a few boxes that were in the way in the garage. After the install Justin, gave me tips on what to expect after the install and answered all my questions about the new water heater. You can find a better crew than Justin and John! Thank you!

We had our water heater replaced by Progressive this winter. We simply can't say enough about our rep, Justin S. He was on time, professional, personable, knowledgeable, and answered all our questions (including some we didn't even know we had)! He worked so hard while he was at our house and did a spectacular and efficient job. It is nice to have a company like Progressive to rely on, and they are fortunate to have a worker like Justin who truly loves and excels at his work. We recommend without reservation.

I used Progressive today to have what turned out to be a small plumbing problem corrected. Larry was the plumber assigned and he did an excellent job, showed me what was wrong and fixed it inexpensively. Very cordial and friendly person also. I will use these guys in the future and suggest that you do to.

Justin and Justin did a great job replacing my water line. They hand dug a 60 foot trench, connected a new line from the meter, had the inspection completed, and back filled the ditch within about 36 hours. Professional, courteous, high quality job. Highly recommended.

We had some plumbing problems and both Justin Sanders and Tim O'Daniel came over and fixed the issue. They also took the time to talk to us and tell us exactly what was happening(included showing and sending us pictures of the plumbing) and gave us advice on the matter. John M. recently provided thorough and creative professional service to address a recurring water leak issue. He bypassed the old under-slab piping and ran a new line through the ceiling to the existing shut-off valve. The outside work area looks scarcely touched and the inside clean up was thorough. Throughout this project all communications were prompt, helpful and courteous.

We had a polybutylene pipe problem. The hot water pipes burst located in our slab home. Instead of breaking up the concrete to get to the pipes it was decided to rerun the pipes through the attic. Progressive came out and advised us on the work that needed to be done. The Team Lead CJ was very detailed and gave us all the information needed to make an educated decision. He gave us a quote on the work and stated how soon we could get it done. CJ worked with us on needed financing options as well. He and Mark came out and did the work. They were pleasant and professional and worked hard for days in our home and did a wonderful job. I have to say that I will not work with another company and will use Progressive Service Company for our future needs.I understand that CJ and Mark's manager's name is Mr. Chad Woodall. Mr. Brown was very professional and diagnosed the problem very quickly. Highly recommend.

Progressive did such poor-quality work in my home that it has had to be gutted to the studs and subfloor! It will cost more than $30,000 in time and materials to REPLACE, REPAIR, and COMPLETE the work they were contracted to do in 8 weeks and couldn’t accomplish in 4 months.Use anyone but Progressive. They don't care about you, your time, or your home.They wasted time and materials, and dragged out their own 8 week timeline to 4 months before walking off the unfinished job entirely.- Their Project Coordinator Vickie McNeil or their Project Manager Tony Lutz would tell me workers were coming, the crew wouldn't show, and the workers and scheduling staff would tell me they were scheduled on different jobs and didn't know when they would be back. Vickie's replacement Louis Barber, wouldn’t respond or would only give a few minutes or hours’ notice someone was coming at all.- Louis Barber tried to submit a false structural engineering report to City of Raleigh Inspection to avoid structural work. Thankfully, I had paid out of pocket for a real structural engineer’s onsite assessment and report noting the additional joist work to support the weight over our kitchen table. (Yikes!)- Progressive Service Company demoed our 1st floor kitchen ceiling for 2nd floor plumbing work and left it a mess for 5 weeks while only showing up a few days over that time.- Even after being so far behind, Louis and their crews admitted they were pulled off my job to work on Progressive Service Company owner's house.- They didn’t install the backer board to the subfloor correctly so the floor tile that was laid and grouted cracked along the seam and all had to be demoed.- They incorrectly installed a 6 foot soaking tub which the manufacturer would not warranty. After trying to shift it 3 times to correct their mistake (wasting additional weeks) they cracked it and a new tub still had to be ordered and installed adding more delay.- After Louis said his crew would return to complete the manufacturer's instructed second waterproofing coat and after receiving pictures of the holes through the cement board that were empty of waterproofing in addition to the window frame missing waterproofing Louis Barber refused to send them to complete this step.- Their subcontractor Victor Miller of VM Home Improvement decided to litter our home and numerous places in our yard with their trash, including sharp pieces of glass and ceramic tile, instead of hauling it away.- When their sub Victor Miller walked off the job after being caught spot bonding wet area walls instead of proper notched trowel mortar installation Louis blamed me, the homeowner.... wrap your head around that one.

I bought a new dishwasher at Home Depot and elected to have them install it, so they sent service technicians from Progressive Service Company to do the work. They were excellent, friendly, and in my opinion went above the call of duty. I will definitely consider Progressive for my future plumbing needs based off this interaction.I used them again for a toilet repair outside of my meager abilities. I was again 100% pleased with their work.

I could not use my shower. It was difficult to turn on the faucet. Mr. Joe H. diagnosed and fixed the problem. He took the time to explain what he was doing. He saw that there were problems with some prior plumbing on my hot water heater. I appreciated the information. I am motivated to get the rest of the plumbing work done with Progressive. I will recommend Progressive to my family and friends. Thank you.

This is the first time that we ever used Progressive Service Company. We had just bought a home in North Raleigh and needed lots of work to bring the home up to date. Electric, gas lines, plumbing etc. We were extremely happy with all that they did. Everyone was very pleasant to be around and they were completely professional. We will be sure to use them again.

I am writing to give Noah my highest commendation. My dishwasher was extremely difficult to install. Noah worked tirelessly to install it correctly. He was courteous, friendly, and answered all questions, and I had many, specifically and clearly. I was impressed with his skill level. Ivan had a hard job removing my old microwave oven yet he was the only one able to complete the job. He did a great job, was professional, courteous and installed my new microwave, leaving the premises clean also. I was extremely satisfied with my service from Ivan.

Great experience getting dishwasher installed. From scheduling (Ashley), confirming tech and through the install (Dylan) everything was handled very professionally by a friendly team. Work was top notch and I would use them again and recommend them to friends.

I actually didn't contact with Progressive. This was part of a Home Depot flooring project and Home Depot contracted with them. But when I had to reach someone about a change in the project, it was a nightmare to get ahold of the right person. I would get transferred, put on hold for long periods of time, then disconnected. I would NEVER do business directly with this company. Beware.

Aaron Farrow is the best! Found a couple of critical issues during routine maintenance of my HVAC system. Advised me but did not oversell me. The company, as a whole, is knowledgable, efficient and pleasant to work with for HVAC, plumbing and electrical.

What a relief to find a company dedicated to customer service. When it's hot no one wants to be without Air and the guys at Progressive made it so easy to get things taken care off.

Seems strange, but on my brand new HVAC system, since installation they have already been here 3 times and replaced 3 switches, and its still not working 100%. They said they will be back out again (4th visit) after Christmas to replace 2 more switches. Maybe the issue is with the manufacturer (Trane) but I have never had this kind of experience before with an appliance.

The plumber was early, efficient, kind and knowledgeable. We will use this service again.

Dylan and Wayne came to fix a plumbing issue [broken valve, a replumb issue from the polybutylene lawsuit, & install a new water heater due to that replumb issue. Dylan & Wayne are good guys, friendly, and knowledgeable. Described what was going on, what they were going to do, and how I was going to be happy at the end. All said by them AND all done by them. We are very happy with the results and recommend them. All in all, cool guys. Thanks Dylan & Wayne.

I had an appointment yesterday for a quotation for water heater replacement. Called the phone number in the text message twice to confirm the appointment. The lady confirmed the appointment with the tech. Twice. My appointment window was from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. No one from Progressive Plumbing arrived. No follow up phone call. No follow up text. Nothing. Extremely unprofessional and very disappointed Home Depot associates with this company. Progressive Plumbing reflects poorly on Home Depot. Avoid this company.

Mark did some plumbing work for me in the crawlspace under the bathroom and I highly recommend him. He was efficient and communicated clearly with me through the process. I haven't had any issues since with my drains since and it's been a year since the service was done!

Great guy. Great service. Found the problem right away. Great price compared to others. Will be hiring again if I need work done or looking for upgrades.

Clint showed up when he said he would and checked out all the work we needed done. He made suggestions for what we need and did a very thorough job. We are waiting for his quote before proceeding. He seemed to know what is expected of an electrician and we were pleased with his visit.

They were attentive to our needs. We had several new lights installed and if there was a problem they fixed it.

Great experience. Was given a 1 to 3 pm time frame and Kevin C. was here at 1:15. Very professional and good humor. Showed me things about my new dishwasher and even educated me on the new code electrical code he had to follow before installation could continue. Would recommend them for any service!

Progressive installed a whole house generator for us. We purchased the generator through Lowe's and they booked Progressive. Everything went super well. We were at our 1+ year mark and I had them back out to do our first service. Again, super easy, smooth and professional. Highly recommend. Thank you!

We had a leak we thought was our water heater and they came out very quickly. Very professional, helped us identify and solve the real issue (ac condensation) and only charged for the service call. Will definitely use them again in the future.

I must preference this by saying two things:A. I am CFO in Northeast firm responsible for 6000 HVAC locationsB. Mail Coupons Are Always Suspect--there always a reason service companies send discounts in mail. Word of mouth is best way to measure service companyAnyway, decided before the heatwave hit to have units serviced on the day a group of coupons arrived in snail mail. Progressive's included, along with ARS which offered a slightly higher fee for system tune up. Note, there are several Progressive HVAC groups, so I am only speaking of the group whose tel ends 0180. Scheduling was easy. I have two units therefore the fee would be double. Tech was friendly, respectful and courteous. Checked attic and two outside finding one unit a pound low of freon R-22. He explained he could add a pound to get the cooling tempature down. He advised this would be $179. At first, I thought a total charge including both unit checks @ $49 each plus a pound of R-22. Upon completion, the tech wrote the invoice indicating the freon was $179 plus two system checks. I asked him if this was correct and he said yes. . ......NOW this is the problem: I then let him know, I just didn't just fall off the turnip truck and I know exactly how much a pound cost and average charge in the NE which should be more expensive than Raleigh, NC. His reply, I just follow what the office says. This additional R-22 should at most be $25-50 for a homeowner.....even that is margin rich. Obviously, the strategy for Progressive like a lot of home service vendors in the HVAC space is get there and find maximum we think homeowners will pay irrespective of market/fair/reasonable charges for service. Based on this little tactic Progressive played on me, I will never use them again. The cost of R-22 for a commercial contractor is less than $5 a pound...........charging a knowledgable homeowner 36 times max cost was a bad PR move. They will never get my business again........nor will they get my neighbors business either......

My AC was Out and they sent a tech named Trevor, he was courteous, knowledgeable, and effective. AC is working beautifully, he also answered a few questions I had about AC. Thank You Trevor W.

Progressive want to charge me $687 and I still have a leak and they actually provided no service besides calling a third party to find the source of my water leak. Scheduling give you the runaround and they can’t keep their word or appointments but they are really great at collecting payment in time. Do yourself a favor and call another plumber/HVAC contractor!!

I could not have had a better experience with Progressive and specifically with Uros. He was prompt, kind, and went the extra mile to ensure successful installation of our dishwasher when a store sold us a defective product. He stayed very late to deliver on his promise and spent an hour at the store even when the error was not his fault. He also did not make it seem like it was a burden for him. The end result was a flawless installation occurring right on time so that we could sell our property right on schedule. He also left the site spotless. I would not hesitate to recommend Progressive. The repair person clearly explained the problem and what needed to be done to repair the electrical system and the cost prior to repair... The job was well done and effective ...... I was happy to get someone that provided immediate response.

They service some AC units in our shopping center and leave trash all over the parking lot every time they come out Nick is rude and unprofessional

Bought a GE microwave from Lowes that had to be ordered and paid Lowes for the installation. Everything went smoothly as promised all the way down to the installation by Progressive. They were on-time, did the install quickly, and the microwave looks awesome. GREAT JOB by Lowes and Progressive. Will use them again in the future for all my home's needs.

This was my second replacement of my heating and cooling system in 2 years. (Upstairs system gave out last year) Darryl gave me plenty of options and let me come to a decision on my own time while researching different options. Once I made the choice Tyler was able to beat the weather and get the system installed in just two days in front of the snow. They were great to work with both times.

My original appointment for the dishwasher install was 3-5pm. Tevin called me at 12:30 to say he had a cancellation, and would I like him to come sooner - definitely! He had the old unit out, and new unit in and tested in about 90 minutes. He was professional and polite. It was the best service call ever!

The workers were on time, did the work well, and kept us informed every step of the way. We are very pleased with the work, the way they cleaned up when done and the excellent way the staff communicated.

I had a faulty electrical box causing half of my power to come on and off randomly. I called one company and had them come out to take a look into it. They gave me a quote for $1600 with an elaborate story on what needed to be fixed and what they had to do to fix it. I called Progressive for a second opinion and Brian came out and told me I just needed to change the box out. I was looking at a $225 repair and $100 to get a permit pulled. Brian fixed it in 3 hours with no issues and everything is working perfect.

Stay away! We had a touchless kitchen faucet installed on 5/27/2021. The technician also recommended and replaced the icemaker lines in the crawlspace at the same time. We were charged $638.14 for the installation with us providing the faucet, which was much more than other estimates we had received; however, based on reviews and the certification by Aquasana home filter systems which we also had Progressive install later, we were assured that the quality of service was worthy of the additional cost. Fast forward to today, 1/4/22, less than one year later and the piping to the faucet is leaking under the cabinet. I called and was told that they only warranty their work for 30 days for this faucet and will charge us to come back out. Unbelievable and appalling after charging such a premium for the work. I can understand that if it is a faulty faucet they will charge, but they will not even stand behind the piping and other installation work they did. I will never use this company again and would not recommend them to anyone.

As a repeat customer, we can always count on prompt and excellent service. Brittany, Lisa, Tim, CJ and the entire crew have been wonderful to work with. On time, knowledgeable, efficient, and worth the price!

With hurricane Irma looming, I called to get help with my portable home generator that would not start. I was very pleased I was able to get a service tech to show up the same day, but unfortunately when Keith showed up I was informed they only work on permanent generators. At no cost, Keith took the time to try and help me. He suggested I try a new battery and a few other things. Keith's suggestions did the trick and my generator is now running. Thanks Progressive!

Got a same day quote then radio silence after calling and emailing the person who generated the quote. I hope that my experience was one off.

I called Progressive Plumbing to help with 2 residential houses that i rent out. On the first, in the process of making the repair under the house, the technician let a lot of sewage spill on the new vapor barrier that I just laid to replace the old. Apparently the technician did not think to use a bucket to catch the spill. Then they called another company to clean up the spill; I was to pay for the clean-up. It was less expensive to replace the soiled vapor barrier. The second house had a leak that the Progressive Plumbing could not locate. I have been charged for the 'labor of searching for the leak, and charged at a commercial rate for a residential house. $126/hour and the technician could do nothing but call Leak Locators. My recent experience is that Progressive Plumbing overcharges for what they deliver or don't deliver. Watch the pricing. It is better to get a quote from them and have THEM sign the quote for the job rather than pay Progressive Plumbing by the hour.

Had Tim from the Raleigh branch come out and service our heating system that was acting up. Tim took a conservative route to try and get the system properly functioning with the least cost to me possible. He was very informative, professional, and courteous. I will use Progressive in the future and hope to have Tim again. Great stuff!

I called a day ahead to have a plumber come out and clear my main sewage line which was backing up into my home and flowing all over my yard. They gave me an early morning window of arrival and the plumber showed up 20 minutes after the two hour window ended. Then he went on blaming the receptionist for telling him I had a shower clog and he would have to leave again to go get the correct equipment for a sewage blockage. I already had an appointment elsewhere and had to reschedule for the him to come back later in the day. Well later in the day came and went and no plumber showed up. I took off from work to be available then revolved my schedule around waiting for them four a total of 4 hours and the repair never happened. Instead they left me with a house and yard full of sewage. I will never rely on their services for ANY of my home repair needs again! Very disappointing!

We had two new toilets installed & the old toilets uninstalled & taken away. Jeremy F. was polite, efficient & I felt very comfortable having him in our home. He was respectful of both me (dealing with a 7 month old) & of our home. He wore shoe covers & cleaned up after himself. We were given a time frame & told we would receive a call 30 minute prior & he called almost exactly 30 minute prior & was here during the beginning of our time window. We haven’t had the new toilets for very long but so far so good! But there is also a 1 year warranty should anything crazy happen which is a great peace of mind! called Monday May 14th to schedule an appointment to have my AC repaired. There wasn't an available appointment until Wednesday the 16th and they could not guarantee a time which was understandable due to the sudden increase in temp. and the many calls like mine I am sure they were receiving. So I arranged to take Wednesday off to wait for their arrival.Wednesday arrives and at 1pm I received a call and a message that they would not be unable to honor my appointment. At this point it's been 80 - 85 degrees in my house for 3 days, I took a day off work to accommodate them not being able to give me a set appointment time and they are telling me they can't reschedule until Friday.I call them back and explain that I have already waited 3 days and asked why my appointment wasn't moved to one of the first appointments the following day which any service provider I have ever worked with has done in the event they had to cancel an appoinment. The young lady I spoke to just reiterated that they couldn't honor my scheduled/rescheduled appointment until Friday and stated she didn't know what else to do. Kudos to exemplary non-cutomer service. I promptly asked to speak to a supervisor and just as I expected I was shot straight to a voice mail.I reached out to another local company and explained the circumstances and not only did they work me in for Thursday morning they apologized for the ordeal.Moving forward I will never seek services from this business and I will encourage all those that I know to do the same.H-

The store where I purchased the items made several mistakes in ordering, so Noah M. had to return on a different date once the store ordered the correct items. John was delightful. We had an emergency after our pressure tank burst. He was able to secure the parts and replace it within a couple of hours. This was the third time we have used Progressive and each time has been a positive experience.

Progressive is my go to company for all plumbing issues. I have been working with them since last summer on a number of issues. Justin and Jillyce consistently impress me. Jillyce does a great job communicating and organizing service calls. I trust Justin implicitly to diagnose issues, repair them and help me stay within my budget. I also have learned a great deal from him about plumbing in general. I can’t say enough about how positive my experience has been!

Progressive was great from start to finish. The price was about what I expected to pay, and in the grand scheme of things, much less than it could have been.The staff did as they said they would every step along the way, which is always appreciated. They set you up with a morning or afternoon window of expected service and then call about a 1/2 hour ahead to give you time to get back to the house should you need.My technician was courteous and very knowledgeable and as he came there for an AC repair, he let me know that they do Plumbing and Electrical as well. I would most definitely recommend Progressive!!!!

I had my water heater replaced in Dec. 2019 by this company. They charged a great deal of money to do it on a weekend ($3000) and 15 months later the pilot light would not stay lit. The install of this new expensive water heater had water lines that the technician did not properly insulate, did not insulate the back up tank at the top, the exhaust pipe was not at slanted up like it is supposed to be, and I did not have the correct length of pipe coming out that is supposed to be only a few inches off the ground. I called them to come fix the pilot light in March 2021. They charged me about $250 for labor and the only thing the plumber did was replace a thermal couple lead. This new lead did NOT fix the problem. The plumber guessed that it was the controller and did not have this part. I had to call RUDD (water heater manufacturer) to order the part which was going to take 2-4 days to arrive. I was then going to have to pay another ~ $300 if not more, for labor to install this new controller a few days later and take time off of work. There was not a guarantee this controller was the issue and would fix the pilot light problem. Do NOT USE THIS COMPANY for water heater work. They install water heaters they do not carry parts for and although it is under warranty they will charge you out the wazoo for labor changing things that may not even fix the problem. I found out using another company to fix my water heater, which I actually ended up replacing, that RUDD water heaters are known for gas valve issues. The plumber / technician from Progressive did not mention one thing about a gas valve issue. He also had no diagnostic tool to determine if in fact what he replaced and then suggested replacing would correct the problem. I say again DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

CJ arrived on time, looked at our plumbing issue, explained what the problem was and gave us an estimate. I approved the estimate and he repaired our bathroom faucet. CJ was very courteous, efficient and professional.

They were so professional! It was a Sunday, and they came when they said they would, explained everything, and were extraordinarily responsive and helpful. Based on their work I asked for a service contract.

Progressive's plumber cracked our bathroom sink while installing a new pipe and faucet. They said I needed to have a photo of the sink proving that it was not cracked before they did the work. After going through Home Depot's (Home Depot subcontracted to Progressive) arbitrator, Sedgwick, Progressive won't replace the sink since we don't have a before photo. BTW- I called Progressive over 8 times. Their customer service manager told me that her manager was looking into the situation and she would call me back. She never called back. I had to keep calling her. Home Depot's store manager told me that they have stopped using this company for certain kinds of installations. I can see why. My dad and I ended up patching the sink and placing a bucket under the pipe. This situation was an example of incompetence and horrible customer service. Buyer beware!

Outstanding service by Chad. He quickly diagnosed my lighting issue and had it fixed in minutes. He informed me of other potentially beneficially programs that would save me money on other repairs. Great customer service.

My apartment complex called them to fix a water heater leak, they came out within hours even though it was Saturday. They diagnosed the problem quickly and left to get the parts, they were back within a few hours with all the parts and despite being late on Saturday they got the job done. And! they even worked quietly while I was in a meeting, even though I told them it was no big deal. Overall great experience, definitely recommend them.

Cody and Joey came out to evaluate a new refrigerator install issue at our new home which was done by another installer. They found that the water line was pinched and not originally configured in the correct manner. A new line was put on and everything was fine. They were both friendly and professional. Progressive installed two commodes in my home and did an excellent job. Tevin and his partner Dayman were prompt, courteous, efficent and did an excellent job.Tevin was very meticulous in caulking on my hardwood floors around the commode.Very happy with the finished job.

Called to have them look at a potential leaky pipe in my shower. Water pressure was suddenly low, but still flowing, but was not satisfied with their response. I was told that the likely culprit was the need for a higher flow shower head, (not something you get from you local Lowes or Home Depot) or you need to clean the shower head and filter. I have already gone though the steps to clean the shower heads and confirm that this were not the issue. I have a multiple setting shower (hand-held wand as well as overhead shower head) and the low water pressure issue is on all outlets.They also told me that the water pressure looks good to me as if to dismiss my complaint and also that they could increase the water pressure to the house when I have no issue with water pressure anywhere except this one shower.Was not satisfied with the explanation or service received. Feel like I wasted my time and money for an issue I still have. I gave them 2 stars since they were responsive and did show up on schedule with good communication as to when they were going to arrive.

We were in desperate need when our powder room toilet overflowed. Water was in our powder room, hall, family room, kitchen pantry and flowed into our crawl space. It was a disgusting mess. Progressive was the first company to arrive. I called several.With all of our towels sopping up the mess Progressive plumbers quickly fixed the clogs in our sewage line and kitchen sink. Our hardwood flooring was ruined. Jimmie Cassie and Caleb Hemphill came in quickly and professionally helping us through the remediation process. They dried our floors and crawl space. They removed the insulation and damaged hardwoods. They cleaned everything up and treated our home and possessions (and dog) with great concern and care.They made a messy situation tolerable and eased our stress. Would highly recommend.

I needed a new downstairs HVAC (gas-pack) system installed and chose Progressive. Got estimates from Progressive and 2 other large HVAC companies that I begrudgingly used for over 30 years. For starters, the Progressive office people were friendly and helpful. I really liked Darryl the salesman, nice guy, knowledgeable and no-nonsense. Their price was competitive too. At the time, they installed a few new systems in my neighborhood and my neighbors recommended them. Progressive was well rated online too. All things considered, it was an easy decision.On the day of the installation, Mitch & John showed-up on time. Real professionals and friendly, they did a great job and and quality work. They also picked-up afterwards. Had to come back another day, to complete and fix a few minor things. The HVAC passed the Town Inspection on the first attempt. Based on my positive experience, I recommend Progressive.

Called Progressive Service Company to troubleshoot an electrical wiring issue that was affecting the furnace and outside receptacles. Danny was very professional. He was able to troubleshoot and find a loose wire in an outside receptacle that was the cause of all the problems.They were called after 1 pm on Friday and showed up by 3:15. I was very surprised by such a quick response. Glad he was able to fix the problem so I didn’t have to run an extension cord under my house to keep the furnace working, specially with the temperature dropping.Charges were very reasonable. Very pleased with the entire process and outcome. Would definitely use them again for any electrical issues.

David and Kraig installed a chandelier on my extremely high ceilings today. The new chandelier didn’t hang as low as I wanted (after all the parts were added on) so they left, went to the store, came back - and were able to make my chandelier hang down another 2 feet. Now it’s perfectly centered in my large foyer window, and I couldn’t be happier. They were SO wonderful, and I’m SO thankful to have had them do this installation. They truly went the extra mile for me today when they certainly didn’t have to. I am SO appreciative - these electricians are totally awesome.

Progressive was the only company that would even send anyone the Thursday prior to a long 4th of July weekend. They were quick to come and very helpful. Turned out it was not the pump but a electrical problem so they helped by calling there electrical group. Very kind and professional.

I had a few problems with my heating and my air conditioner unit and I was looking for a really good HVAC tech and company. After looking at everyone I decided to go with Progressive Heating and Air out of Raleigh and I am so happy I did. The two technicians that they sent out here (Brian and Ronnie) are EXCELLENT! Their professionalism and attention to details really shows me (a 24 year US Army soldier) that Progressive has a great foundation. Progressive sent a nice and professional gentleman to my house to repair a leaking gas water heater that I though would have to be replaced. Upon inspection he found the problem and repaired it.The price was reasonable around 350.00 dollars. To replace this water heater he said would have been about 2500.00 dollars. I'm not sure I'm in the right place. I had an HVAC repair done on 9/29/22, but that does not seem to be covered in the above list. The technician (Rusty or Dusty) arrived very soon after I contacted Progressive. After a short period of trouble shooting, he fixed the trouble. It was a pleasure to work with him. The only negative was that he promised to send me an invoice/receipt, but I still don't have it. I usually get it immediately. I'll contact Progressive on Monday.

Progressive installed my whole-house generator and did a great job. They do the routine maintenance on it as well. I had also called them for an electrical issue I had, and Danny F. looked beyond the obvious and found the cause of the problem and fixed it on the spot. He is a true professional who knows his stuff! From the moment you call, until the work is done, you are treated as a valued customer. Couldn’t ask for better service.

It was a weekend emergency and Christine and Brian G. came to the rescue! I work for a property management company and was the on-call person for the weekend. I deal with Progressive all the time. Christine is patient and amazing every time I speak to her!

My experience with Progressive Service Company was a good a good one. My technician Noah was awesome! He introduced himself and was very friendly. The repairs were especially difficult due to years of unseen water leakage which caused rust build up and this made it hard to remove the hardware. Noah never gave up and got the job done. He cleaned up the mess and disposed of everything. He gets 5 stars in my book! I am giving 4 stars to the company because we paid up front for the service at Home Depot but then told we would have to wait 48 hours for a call to schedule the service. After 48 hours we didn't receive a call and had to contact Home Depot. Later that day we did receive a call only to be told we had to wait another week and given a 5 hour window on the day of service. This is in my opinion unexceptionable. We paid for the service up front but everything is at the convenience of the company and not the customer. Because I have paid up front I no longer have the option to have the repair done by a company or person who can make the repair sooner at my convenience. A family having no use of their kitchen for more than a week was extremely difficult. I'm not sure if this is a Home Depot or Progressive issue. But this is my experience. However, the actual service and quality of the work by Noah was GREAT!

Marcus came and reconnected my sink plumbing following new countertops. He called within the promised serviced window, arrived on time and completed the work perfectly and quickly. My undersink plumbing is tricky and he reconnected it with no leaks on the first try. He checks everything 3 times. If he is your service tech, you will be completely satisfied!

Lisander Perez and Bryan Perez were excellent. They were on time, explained clearly, and were very helpful after installation.

Noah M. was great. Very professional and knew exactly what he was doing. I had purchased other toilet rings through Lowes and he told me they were good, but not useable in this situation. He took the time to explain why, what I should purchase when exchanging these. He also was not bothered by my grandson watching from a distance. He took the time to explain and show him how he removed the toilet and how he installed the new one. He cleaned up the work area and left nothing behind. I am going to be replacing two more toilets, and am going to request Lowes send Progressive Service Co., and Noah M. out again. I highly recommend both the company and plumber.

We have used Progressive Plumbing several times over the past 2 years with a satisfactory outcome. However, when we used them this time for a simple clog that the technician solved in 20 minutes, we received a $492 invoice for services rendered. Included in this fee, was an hour’s time for the technician, which is fair. Also included was travel time from a location outside of Raleigh and a fee to use a standard piece of equipment that was not left with us as a purchase. We were not informed of these prices when we called, nor were they quoted onsite as we would have said No Thanks! we could buy another toilet for that. When approached, a small deduction was offered. I will not use Progressive again due to their high prices and lack of communication with clients. Manager won't even call back to discuss the charges further.

During a heat emergency they wanted an additional 200.00 plus the overcharged price of the repair to come out on a Saturday.This my friends is price gouging. To get someone to be there for you and they try to remove your eyeballs is ridiculous way to treat a long time customer. I have been with them for over 7 years. Now never again. There is nothing in this world that would convince me to ever call them again. The welcome mat has been removed and will never be offered again to this rip off Company. DON’T USE THEM. more to come

We called PSC to help us out with an electrical issue related to our water heater and they were quick to send someone out to investigate. Colby arrived on time and was very courteous during his visit. He was able to diagnose the issue quickly and even though he had to travel to obtain a unique part, he was back promptly and shortly after was able to resolve the issue.During his time at our home, Colby explained everything he was doing and provided helpful maintenance information for us to keep in mind moving forward.Thanks for your help Colby and PSC!

Uros, the service technician did an excellent job. He was to install a new dishwasher. He arrived on time, fortunately took new one out of box and noticed damage. So glad he had not already removed old dishwasher. He boxed it and returned to Lowe's with it, picked up another one and got it installed today! On time and kept me informed... Super job, Uros!

Progressive did an entire HVAC installation in my home. They replaced both AC units and Furnaces as well as all the control boards and thermostats. If there is one thing to know about an HVAC installation is that the installer is more important than the brand of the HVAC system. I can say that this is the reason I chose Progressive. The installation quote was from Costco thru Progressive. John Woodell is an outstanding project manager. He is a matter of fact type of guy that does what he says. He understood our needs and worked to provide us with the best value HVAC system for our house. He gladly worked several quotations for us. He was always available to answer questions and follow up on any commitments he made. John’s professionalism is why I chose Progressive.An HVAC system replacement for my size of house is complex. William Harp was the installation manager on this project, and he is outstanding. He is knowledgeable and ensured that the crew worked thru some installation complexities we encountered. William is a consummate professional and you want a guy like him to manage the installation. Again, the installer is as (if not more) important than the system itself. William and John are why I would recommend Progressive for HVAC installations.

Martin and Uros had the unenviable task of moving my old GE Monitor refrigerator from my kitchen, down 2 steps to the garage. The Monitor reputedly weighs around 600 lbs. One other service company had refused to touch it. Martin went to the effort of acquiring a special appliance dolly to help with the task. In spite of many challenges through the day, Martin and Uros worked late on a Sat. evening to get my old refrigerator moved and the new one installed. I would highly recommend Progressive and Martin and Uros for any appliance installation needs.

Service was good but was given an approx arrival window from 8 am to 12 pm. Installer showed up at 12:40. I am lucky I work from home but this would not work for people who work outside the home. Just an observation.

Justin Sanders was most impressive.He quickly diagnosed the problem then quickly fixed it.Additionally,he educated me in the operation and maintenance of my water heater. He then worked further, under no obligation,to instruct me how to change and maintain the valve handle on my shower.He is friendly, competent,and up to date on current plumbing trends and techniques.It was a pleasure to meet him.When I require assistance with my plumbing,I will call Progressive and have Justin return.

Rakeem was the man. I called progressive because I have Trane units. Upon diagnosis of the problem it became evident that extensive repairs or replacement of 17 year old AC units was needed. If it would have been a few hundred dollar problem I would have just paid for it to be fixed but since it was a larger problem I need to fall back on my home warranty to let them handle the issue/replacement. Rakeem got my air recirculating and fixed a couple of small issues to tie me over until the warranty company steps in.Good company with through and knowledgeable techs

The problem is the office staff, they are extremely difficult and bad at communicating. One time I hung up and did the work myself.

Technician was here to do the seasonal tune up for the HVAC System. He was very pleasant and professional with a strong sales pitch for a Maintenance Agreement and various parts he determined were needed with an estimated cost of approximately $3,500 to 4 grand. I'm not convinced that I need so much considering I get the seasonal tune up every year with another company, first time using Progressive. Further the system is approximately 7 or 8 years old and should not need such extensive repairs and if so should be covered under the warranty. I did purchase the Maintenance Agreement so I will use them again, not sure about in the future.

I used Progressive to repair a water line in my well house. The technician was very nice. I called them out after hours and there was an after hour fee but the pricing was affordable. If I have more plumbing problems i will be calling them again.

The technician showed up in a Swiftbrothers plumbing truck but was wearing a Progressive Service Company shirt. My water bill had been creeping up and we determined it was a leaking toilet valve. He gave me 3 estimates..... 1-turn water off from main and replace toilet valve $325. 2-turn water off back of toilet and replace toilet valve $225. 3-turn off water at main install new main shut off add an expansion tank, and replace toilet valve $2,300.00. I paid the service call went to Home Depo bought the best toilet valve I could get for $20 and replace it myself. Took more time to drive to Home Depo then to drain the tank and replace the part.

The company sent a technician four days ago to work up a proposal to replace our air conditioning condenser and evaporator, which must be matched to a wood-fired heating furnace. We have little basis for a review yet, because the technician spent a short time, took a few notes and pictures, and told us he'd confer with experts at the company. We do not have any proposal to evaluate yet.

Justin is very organized, first arranging tools and replacement parts, then proceeding through the repair process in a efficient, effective and concentrated manner, resulting in better pipes and insulation than the original plumbing.

Yeah I called and told the lady Meredith exactly what I needed. When Noah showed up he didn't come up with any tools and looked at what I had. He then told me it would be a 5 to 6 hour job. And he was going to cap the pipes off since it was already 9pm. Then I said what was the point of even coming if you weren't gonna get my shower running. Then he said it would be 750 to do the job. Well I paid 138$ to get him to cap off two pipes and he was here a total of 20 mins. Well then had the Bossman call me of the department and pretty much fed me with excuses as well. Long story short I got it fixed with another company for 200 and it included parts and labor. And it only took 42 mins. I timed it with my watch from start to finish. Would recommend calling around before I went with progressive. Waste of time and money to be honest. 1 out of 10 in my eyes. Will never use again and I would recommend someone else any day

April in the office was such a pleasure to deal with. Everything went exactly as she said it would. What a great team. I will use them again in the future. Great job!!!!!

the plant that I work at, had a leak in one of are main water pipe. I had called to schedule for service. At that time I did ask how much did they charge per hour. the lady told me $120 per hour plus parts. I agreed on that. Progressive showed up, looked at what job initialed. Went back to Raleigh. Came back, with another person. stayed 30mins. called me back that day, said they could do the job, be there in the morning. They showed up worked 6 hours, and another 6 hours the next day. They finally finished. my company got the bill, and it was WAY to much. After calling them back about why the bill was so HIGH. He begins telling me they * hours each day and they also charged us $88 an hour for the helper. I have never heard of a company charging an additional fee for a helper. I will NOT be calling this company back for anything. and will not recommend them. Stay clear of price increase with this company.

Progressive Heating and Air treats their Employees terribly!!! In their HVAC department they have a supervisor named Moses. Moses shows favoritism!! If your not his friend you will not last long as an employee!! Moses has a very disrespectful way of talking to his employees. Obviously it's ok with the other managers of the company because Brian allows Moses to disrespect his Employees too!!! Please use a company that values their Employees!!!!!!

Decent job at the front end and actual installation. Totally screwed up the back end leaving open two doors in an unfinished area (partly my bad for not checking sooner) and am still waiting for the old water heater to be hauled away four weeks (agreed for it to be left due to weather and ground conditions on installation day. Three weeks have passed and have now been told to go ahead and contact Home Depot directly as they have no idea at this point when they might be able to remove it. btw, this involves a purchase and installation in Hendersonville, NC.

No star, worst company I ever choose. Not professional at all. No useful. My water heater still same old not working. They didn't do anything and tell me to pay extra double money just have a look. It's so ridiculous ! When they tell you in the phone is not like that. Don't believe the customer services. And other way I am glad. Not very professional or honest-called them out for an HVAC issue. Tech diagnosed an issue and said it would cost $1200-1500 to fix! I'm not a professional but diagnosis seemed off because part was in fact still working. Tech then spent a good amount of time pressuring me to sign up for their hvac maintenance program which raised more suspicions. Called another local company for a 2nd diagnosis and guess what? Simple wiring issue was fixed in 15 minutes for under $100. Called Progressive back to get a refund of my diagnostic fee- was dismissed even though their professional tech's diagnosis was completely off. An honest and professional company would admit their mistake and make it right.

They were timely, fast and knew exactly what they were doing, very reliable, pleasant to deal with. Their price tag was a little steep. House call and 30 minutes was charges at $200. That seems on the high side to me. Bottom line: good and fast, but not cheap.

Trash from another job left in the yard, and when contacting management, there was nothing they could do but let it sit int the front yard overnight, and acted like it happened all the time. Mistakes happen, but most companies take ownership and want to correct them. It this one.

Terrible experience trying to get a broken toilet replaced. Asked for a call prior to site visit to get plumber to bring a generic white toilet to replace the broken worn out unit in my office. Should have required one visit and drop the new toilet in place. Had pictures to send in case needed. He arrived unannounced and proceeded to run up a $300.00 unauthorized bill looking for non-existent replacement parts. Then quoted $1018.26 to install a very basic toilet. Never apologized and never tried to review their “recorded” conversations. Tried to work this out equitably. Anyone can make a mistake. I rarely write negative reviews and never without an effort to work things out.

Recently I purchased new appliances from Lowes and they sent out a technician from Progressive Plumbing to install my dishwasher. The Field Technician Uros was very professional and the service provided was excellent. Highly recommend Progress Service for appliance installation.

Very pleased with the shower valve replacement service I received from Progressive and specifically Justin Sanders, the service technician. He was very knowledgeable, thorough and easy to get along with. Top notch work! Would recommend!

The technician was kind, professional, and courteous and completed the job in a timely manner. It was explained that the issues was mostly caused by the builder who nicked a pipe in the fist floor ceiling of my 2 story home. It looked as though they had tried to fill it with something but over time that wore away and caused the leak. This is what was told to me by the technician. The issue I have with their service is they were not willing to include this on the invoice so that the repairs would be covered by my insurance company. They gave me the most likely cause, suggested I file the claim, and even told me to save the pipe as proof of the issue but when it came down to standing by what they told me, they back peddled. I was only looking for them to include that was the most likely cause of the issue. I mean what else could it have been, there is a tiny hole in the pipe that look like it was filled with something and it is not easily accessed (hence the hole in my ceiling). You may want to consider this when choosing them for your next emergency.

Chris from Progressive Service Company was able to assist me with a water heater issue I was experiencing. Not only was he courteous, but also highly knowledgeable on the issue I was experiencing and was able to respectfully explain it in laymen terms. I would definitely recommend Chris and Progressive Service Company for future service calls.

Shane shoed up within an hour or two of my call. Repaied water line into fridge without complication. So i asked him to replace my leaky water connection to my powder rm toilet. Super fast...done. so i asked if he did well work. Yep! So i had him check out my well setup (a knowledge black hole for me). He changed my filter and gave me detailed instructions how to do it myself. It was over $700 (ouch!). But i got KNOWLEDGE!!! And leaks were fixed. So Shane made this a big win for me. I also am SO GRATEFUL Progressive could come out for an urgent repair so quickly. THANKS!!!!

Bill U. installed an over the range microwave for us. This is the third microwave we've had installed. He completed the job quickly, even though he had to reinstall a brace. The finished product was much better than the previous installations. The work was very neat, and he attached the cord to the wall. I didn't even know that was possible. The previous installers never bothered with it. He vacuumed up when he was finished. I highly recommend him. Great attention to detail.

...$59 estimate $400 for a 2 man job to reattach undermount sink...switched to $568 upon arrival of 1 man..surprised that their original estimate was so far off though the conditions were the same. Got no response from the company after I called to tell them why i declined the job.

Troy came out and installed a new dishwasher for us. He called to say he was on his way and arrived at the appointed time. He got the install completed with no issues and was very thorough in going through the instructions on how to use the dishwasher. He handled himself in a very professional manner. He also made it a point to clean up the area before he left. I would give Troy a ten out of ten and would highly recommend him.

Our heater stopped working a few days before the New Year. The company told us that they need to replace a defected part. They promised to do it a day or two after the New Year. It's now Jan 14th, and we're still waiting for them to fix it.

Progressive installed new vertical drain line from attic through 2nd floor, 1st floor and to basement in my house. The walls were then closed up. This line has been leaking since then. However, since the 2nd bath is rarely used, the leak was not discovered until a guest left the water running for 4 days before I discovered it. I called Progressive when the walls and ceilings collapsed in the bathroom below and asked that plumber & restoration dept. come out so I could get idea of damage and the time it would take to remove walls/ceilings and repair damage. The first visit was a plumber who tried to charge me a service fee to look at damage their work had caused. Since then, I made 2 additional appointments with restoration department. Both time Progressive was a no-show and did not take the time to inform me in advance that they were not coming. Progressive is quick to show up for new work and their service is deplorable when they need to fix their problems. Mindi Brown

Jimmie and Caleb were the very definition of professional throughout the whole project. Our water heater in the attic leaked badly and Jimmie’s team was onsite that same day just a few hours later to begin cleaning up the damage, which was extensive. Jimmie was so helpful and talked me through everything so that I could understand the process and what repairs would be needed subsequently. Jimmie was flexible and communicative. It was horrible to have so much damage to the house, but Jimmie made it bearable by being so kind and professional throughout the process. My family really appreciates Caleb and Jimmie—they made an otherwise horrible experience much better by their friendliness and quality work.

We had Chad Cranford come out and give us an estimate for some major remodeling of the L/R, D/R, and kitchen, plus adding a few outlets/switches in the two upstairs baths. We had used Chad for an earlier job and we were so pleased with his work that we asked for him specifically this time.We told him how much work we had for him this time and that we would buy the materials he would need He quoted us a flat daily rate (for 3-5 days work) and we eliminate a middleman markup on parts.. Last time, he quoted one day and that's exactly how long it took, so we trust his time estimates.

Progressive was sent to me from the folks at Home Depot. Randy was first to come to my house to install my new dishwasher and microwave. While he was here noticed an electrical issue I was having which prevented him from testing the dishwasher. He called his office and was able to kept me kniw what I could do to have one of their electrians come out. I called the office and this was set up for the next day in just a few minutes. They called me 30 minutes before arriving which was also very helpful. Today David came to my house, he quickly looked at the problem fixed it and now everything works. I cannot say enough about how Professional and personal at the same time these two young men were that I had the pleasure of meeting. He was so professional and thorough, we decided to have him return a second time to actually re-plumb the entire house. Again, his work was professional and thorough. We were especially impressed when, during the city inspection, the inspector remarked that the job was the work of a Master Plumber. We are planning on having Justin work with us in our new home as well.

Our engagement of Progressive Service Company (“PSC”) tp repair a residential septic system was by far our worst experience with a contractor in over 40 years of home ownership. Their website “satisfaction guarantee” is worthless.PSC was hired in March and they were fired in October (7 months later) when they were still far from completing the project. During that period, the price for them to continue with their services was increased twice to a level more than three times their original estimate. And, in addition to extensive damage to our landscaping, they significantly damaged our lawn irrigation, outdoor lighting, and drainage systems. They also refused to refund payments made for work they did not perform.Our advice is to stay away from this company.

I can't say enough good things about our experience with Progressive. Our A.C. went out during the hottest week of the summer. The company was quick to respond and our project manager Joe was extremely helpful. He took the time to explain our options and stayed until 9 PM trying to get enough coolant to hold us over until the new system could be installed (at no charge). The crew came a day earlier than promised and they finished quickly, leaving no mess behind. We've dealt with many contractors the last few months as we've updated our aging home and Progressive's customer service was far superior to any other company.

Man, these guys are exceptional! From the start, Cody and Joey showed promptness and professionalism. Cannot say enough. With my bathroom flooring install, they were to come in and remove two commodes. Then the flooring installers do their, installing, then Joey and Cody return to install two new commodes. Pretty straight forward, yes? Well things, as things do, went awry. Timing is everything, and when the carpet installer was delayed (half day, didn't start until next day) I asked if they(Cody and Joey) could leave one commode intact (just in case) flooring was not completed in time. Meaning they (Cody and Joey) would have to come back the next day. Cody was quite understanding, having updated his company of the issue and receiving a reschedule date quickly. As the flooring install was ongoing, we noticed it would not be completed in time for rescheduled date. I called Cody with this information and again, was able to reschedule to the next morning. So, bright and early this very morning, Cody and Joey came back to complete their install. They got the final old commode out and opened the box to the new one...guess what?...Yep, it is broken! The flange where it sits on the floor bolt was shattered. Cody assures me that I can get a replacement and they will install it so we wouldn't have to reschedule to another day. Whew! Needless to say, they knocked out the one good commode while I hurried off to Home Depot(SHOUT-OUT ERIKA G.)where I had purchased everything. We bought the full HVAC unit from Progressive for $7K nearly 4 years ago. Last week, we called company because thermostat was not working which cause the AC unit to not run. The technician came, pulled thermostat off the wall and said it's not working. It took literally 2 minutes. He offered me a new one for $900. This useless 2 minute visit cost me $95. I called service tech line and the worker (Patty) was shocked at the $900 quote but later confirmed the cost was correct. My response: I knew the thermostat was not working, so what did he tell me or do that I didn't already know. There was no fixing the unit. They only confirmed that $95 is the cost to come out. Later that day, a handyman friend came to our home, reattached the thermostat that the tech pulled out to our wall and pressed Reset. What??? The thermostat/AC unit has been working ever since. I felt that even the receptionist was annoyed with me as this was my 3rd call. The next day, the service manager called and confirmed that the company's practice is right. I stated that I felt ripped off. I was not happy that anyone can walk into your house for 2 minutes and walk away with $95. I expected something and asked 'why didn't the tech reset the thermostat'? I know now that the technician had the option to reset the thermostat, but chose NOT to. We didn't know this until a friend/handyman mounted it and reset it. So, was the goal to get $900 out of us? Amazon has the same thermostat for $375. In the end, the service mgr reimbursed me 1/2 of the bill, but the tech/service practice leaves much to be desired. I purchased the HVAC unit from Progressive for $7K, but I will not call them again. Your practice needs to be revisited. I am NOT a happy customer : (

We had a septic disaster last year and called Progressive (they were the only folks who would come out on a holiday weekend, which was great). They pumped our septic and then scheduled a follow up to have someone come out to give us a quote on fixing the system. We got the quote, felt it was reasonable given our own research, and took out a loan to cover the costs. Turns out, just the electrical portion used up 90% of the money we were told it would take to repair the entire system.So now we are left with a busted system, in the same position as we were before we shelled out thousands of dollars trying to figure out how we are going to get the money to actually fix this.I wish we had never encountered Progressive in the first place.

Ivan called that he was en route and would be here within 20-minutes. Right on time. Ivan was exceptionally professional, possessed skill and knowledge and was friendly. He was kind enough to carry the heavy boxed microwave from our driveway to the kitchen. Exchange was swift and exact. Ivan explained the functions of the new oven and even answered our questions regarding our dishwasher! ... Progressive is fortunate to have Ivan as a team member. He is an outstanding ambassador for the company. We wish him and the entire Progressive team the best. Because of this encounter, we are moving our HVAC and Genrac service contract from our current provider to Progressive.

The old dishwasher removal and new installation went very well. Zac was professional and clean and left the house in better shape than he came into it (always had boot covers on and protected the floors). It was a painless process and works great.

I called several companies in the area and I chose to let Progressive Services to do my work! They not only replaced my Water Heater that had been leaking for a while (in just a few hours) but sent their Water Restoration team out to access the water damage (which they worked with my insurance company). We had them replace 3 old style round vowels with modern ball valves which are much more reliable. One was on the main water feet into our house which makes it a bit tricky to replace. James did an excellent job spilling only about a 1/2 cup of water, Remarkable considering how many feet of pipe are in a home and holding little dribs of water ready to leak out when you open that main feed pipe. He also fix a leaky faucet while he was here. The estimate for all that work was exactly what I was charged. Very happy.

I was having problems with my A/C so I contacted progressive needing service ASAP. Since I don't know anything about air conditioning, I called and asked one of their staff (Arionna) a thousand questions. She was so patient and friendly our entire conversation! They sent a technician out the next day. He fixed my problem in about 30 minutes. They had such great customer service, I would definitely recommend them for any of your plumbing needs! Thanks

Marcus Carter was a pleasure to work with. He was professional, courteous and friendly. He was very careful of his surroundings and took great care installing our stove. The weather was really nasty and messy when he got here and before he left he cleaned up the floor and left everything as clean as it was when he got here. There were a few problems with the stove on Lowe's end and Marcus very graciously took care of those instead of having me call Lowe's to try to resolve them. I would not hesitate to call Progressive Services again!

Company installed a defective water heater then charged an outrageous labor fee to fix it. When I expressed my concern, they rudely replied that I would have to contact the manufacturer. Essentially, it's not their problem even though they sold me the unit. Obviously, they could care less about customer satisfaction.

I had an appointment today to install a dishwasher. I was given a call to meet with exact eta. My install tech, Ivan was personable, knowledgeable and friendly. He walked me through the beginning of the installation, ie shutting off the water and circuit. After he was done he cleaned up and walked me through how to use the appliance...5 stars isn't enough!!!

Kevin C. installed the dishwasher we purchased from Home Depot. He worked carefully, efficiently, and skillfully. His many years of experience as a plumber and his ten years of experience installing dishwashers were evident in the high caliber of his work. After he removed the old dishwasher, he afforded me time to thoroughly clean the space, which I hadn’t been able to access for 14 years, before he installed the new dishwasher. We are extremely pleased with his work!

Martin came for an emergency call about a leaking garbage disposal. He was able to diagnose the problem very quickly, helped us understand our options clearly, and had the replacement part in the truck. My only concern was that we waited several hours without any notice about when the technician would arrive, but that is understandable for an unscheduled weekend call where he was dealing with other emergencies.

Progressive Service did a good job with a not great situation (took a month for my range and microwave to show up at Lowes) - I felt like they were concerned about the delay and they were always great on the phone with me when they called with follow-up. Progressive's installer, Uros, is excellent - on the ball, skilled, and kind.

Marcus Carter, service technician, is every homeowner best wish. He is clean cut, knowledgable about products and technically very good at his job. I would certainly recommend this young man for anyone looking for plumbing and installation services.

I sat in my house for 1-3 p.m appointment, nobody showed up, nobody called, it was supposedly changed to 3-5, and again nobody showed up, nobody called. It was 5 o'clock and when I called and they had gone home. Lack of courtesy! Maybe when the economy goes down these same folks will learn some courtesy and customer service skills. Pathetic, not even a phone call.

Amanda was very helpful in answering our question as to when someone would come. Matias Ault, could not find his name, is the young man that came out an installed our new water heater. He was very respectfully, friendly and efficient with the installation. He did not have the hot water on his truck and was very willing to go to the Bainbridge store to get the right one. His service was impeccable. Both he and Amanda gave us very good personal service.

I waited over a week after the purchase of the dishwasher from Lowe's before they called. On the day of the installation the guy came in and spent 5 minutes here and then called somebody named Ivan. They did a two minute FaceTime and told me I could pay more money or they wouldn't install it because of the location in my kitchen. Literally less than ten minutes to try and get the old machine out. It was foamed because of mice by the previous owner I think. Why would my house pass inspection if something was wrong with the location of the unit I'm replacing? There was a large installation fee i had paid at Lowe's and the salesman told me they will professionally install it right. If you do purchase from Lowe's make sure you get a different installer. The absolute worst.

I had 2 new Lennar hvac units installed by going through Costco services. Progressive was chosen to do the install and from the minute I was contacted my John…I knew I had the “right guy” for the job. He was knowledgeable, honest, and just down right a good guy. Without a doubt the best experience working from the initial request to final product delivery. The installers were careful to be tidy when moving around the house and then took the time to explain all the details of my new system and setting up my NEST systems.

Cody Clark was sent to install a GE drop-in range & vent hood purchased from Lowe's in Shallotte, NC. He called ahead of arrival & got here as scheduled. A few weeks earlier Lowe's had sent a guy from Conway, SC to measure to make sure the range would fit before ordering. Fast forward......... Old range & hood removed & put into truck.......new range DID NOT FIT SPACE............Cody then had to re-install old range & hood............then return new range & hood to Lowe's. He was VERY professional, knowledgeable, & cordial. I would highly recommend Cody for service! Boo on guy from Conway who does not know how to measure!

This young man was sent out by his company to install a dishwasher. Upon arrival he noticed water spraying from the water meter box. A leak had occurred between the meter box and the house. He was graciously able to install the dishwasher and fix the broken water line. Cody and his partner were very professional and courteous and did an excellent job. Worst service experience ever. I don’t recommend their service to anyone. They disconnected my dishwasher for a countertop installation followed by a reconnection service. After the reconnection, they didn’t test my dishwasher water supply. When I tried to start my dishwasher after the service for the first time, I noticed it was not working because of the water supply disconnect. I set up another appointment to get it fixed and had their promise. But they never ever showed up at my place to fix their mistake.

Cody was set to come a day scheduled to install a kitchen faucet . I also had a kitchen counter top installed the same day & was told I needed to wait 24 hrs before the faucet could be Installed. Cody had no problem rescheduling for the next day. He called me the next morning to let me know he was on his way. He did a great job installing the faucet and education me what I needed to do for maintenance. Nice guy. Great job!

Had an issue with the PRV at our house. Progressive fixed the valve in just over 30 minutes and charged $360. When I called for an explanation of charges I was told I would have to speak to the vice president. I left him a voice mail and never received a call back. Expensive and not great customer service.

Progressive Service Co sent a plumber out to fix my backed up plumbing line right away on a Saturday. John Mayo was knowledgeable, skilled and very professional. He did a great job diagnosing the problem. So glad I called them!

I was away for the weekend when my mother-in-law had no heat from her heat pump. A neighbor told her about Progressive Service Co. and an appointment was made. When the Technician arrived , he told my 94 year old mom-in-law that her unit was dying and needed to be replaced for $5000 . He did nothing and gave her a $200 service charge and said they would come back in 2 days to start the install. I came home the next day and came over to inspect her HVAC ... In 2 minutes I found the problem. The blower motor was not running and it was hot to the touch. I checked the starting capacitor with my old meter and read 0 uf . I ran home and returned with a capacitor that I had saved from my old AC unit. The system ran perfectly. Heat came on and the thermostat came up to temp . Now my question is, How could a technician miss this starting capacitor.? This is so basic, I have trouble believing it.I asked for the $200 back and the company sent a supervisor out .. He checked the system and said it was running fine. Took a picture of the old starting capacitor and said he would check into getting the $200 back. He said the tech, who was not a rookie, was probably going to fast and just missed it. The check came 10 days later.. Good , but will I call this company to service my AC unit? No Way.

CJ arrived early, gave us an estimate and went right to work. He answered all my questions and completed the work in a professional manner. The installation looks great! We will not hesitate to hire him for our future plumbing needs. As for Kimberly, five stars for her as well. She was very helpful and made sure we had all the details that we needed. Overall, excellent work by Progressive.

It is challenging to find reliable sub-contractors, particularly plumbers, in my vicinity. I was directed to this provider by Home Depot and am very happy. Amanda works in Progressive's scheduling center (in Raleigh). She was very good but her colleagues were at the opposite end of the spectrum. Progressive farms out work to a local crew that, from the client perspective, operates independently. Step in Cody & Frank. I interviewed them while they bid on my job. It became clear that they are very knowledgeable, experienced, and well prepared. The price was very reasonable. When the date for the work came around they arrived on time, set to work immediately, and did everything in the manner that had been agreed. Not surprisingly there was an unexpected development once they got into the wall but this was quickly resolved. I arranged to do prep and finish work in the laundry room where the plumbing was being revised. They left everything in proper order for my part of the work to be completed overnight. It’s been a few months and I have had not problems. I recommend Progressive Service on the condition that it is Cody & Frank who come to do the work; there’s no knowing what might be the result if someone else were to come.

Progressive is good about providing same day service and this is very important for my tenants. My properties are old and some of the systems are complicated by decades of DIY repairs. It took me about 5 years of various plumbers to find Progressive and John Mayo. If my problem requires problem-solving and years of experience, I ask for John Mayo, even if I have to wait to get on his schedule, because he WILL track down any water-related problem and fix it. And, he is patient with all of my questions. When he finishes a job, I understand what went wrong, how it was fixed, and what I might want to think about for the future.

The Technician Larry saved my family and I a lot of money by realizing that our garbage disposal was not previously installed correctly. Afterwards he cleaned off the garbage disposal and made it look brand new again. 10/10 service and experience!

Mr. Toscani did an excellent job. He was always respectful of my property - he was careful to wear his shoe covers when entering the house. Chris cleaned his work area completely when job was completed. He explained his processes and reasons for doing certain things and he discussed the water heater unit that was installed. Very respectful. I would like him to come again if I have other problems.

We had an excellent experience with Dwayne for our Plumbing problems today. He was courteous, knowledgeable, and did a great job. We had a mystery leak that caused us a water bill of over 5 times our regular one. Dwayne isolated and showed me the problems and then fixed them. We would definitely recommend this company and would request Dwayne next time.

I have not had a worse experience with a company ever. On 3 separate occasions, we have taken off work only for their clerical errors to make it so they cannot install our dishwasher. I have spent more than 2 hours on the phone with them. To have used nearly a huge percentage of my time off to not have a dishwasher delivered and installed is unacceptable. If Lowes sends you here, please request a different company!

We had a day after Christmas septic emergency. The company came, gave us an honest assessment of the issue, provided some quick training on how to maintain our system. The completely cleaned out our system and saved the day!!! They are our go to company from now on!

Tim O. did an excellent job! We had a clogged sewer line. He found the clean out with no problem, it was buried in our yard and we had no idea it was there. He worked diligently to clear the clog and make sure we were back in working order. Tim is very respectful, personable and customer service oriented. He talked us through what he was doing and assured us all was good. Progressive was able to move our 1pm appointment to 11am without us asking. They knew we needed help and made sure we got it as soon as possible. Kimberly and Lisa at the office were great with their quick response.

Great Service - These guys are pros and do everything the right way the first time without cutting corners.The work that was done was for a shower diverter valve that was leaking.I went through my home warranty company, Old Republic, and this is the local plumbing company that they work with out of the Raleigh area. They promptly called me within an hour of my service request to figure out what was going on and they were able to come out the next morning. They called in the morning because they were going to be early to make sure that I was still available. They came and assessed the situation and found that the valve needed new internal components that they did not have so they went on a parts search and also found that the valve is not manufactured anymore. So they called to schedule a new appointment to replace the shower assembly and also told me the model number they were going to use as a replacement because they had it in stock. They told me that I could pick a different style if I wanted to, it just may push back the install date. They scheduled an appointment for the next morning.They arrived the next morning and worked on installing the valve without having to rip out the tile in the shower by going though the attic. They were very well prepared and even brought Plywood to make a platform in front of the valve in the attic. They worked on the valve from 9am to 1pm until all of the work was complete. The craftsmanship was done very well. They caulked all of the parts so there was sure to be no leak from the shower side. They also installed new studs to secure the new valve as the old valve was free floating on the piping from the original build of the house. They left everything in better shape than how they found it.

Very professional and prompt service. Only issue was the lack of transparency with the pricing. When I called and asked about pricing I was told of the $89 initial fee that was all besides the cost of the actual repair. The plumber then told me about the ~$250 diagnostic fee when he was on-site, which was not previously mentioned to me when I had asked.

Performed work in an excellent manner and actually painted the gas line so as not to see rust colored pipes. Checked for leaks and all was well.
Definitely will call them again.

Dwayne Sandy was absolutely professional and knowledgeable. He not only fixed the plumbing problems we knew about but noticed and commented on a couple of problems we didn't even know we had. He showed us the problems and suggested a variety of repairs--which we talked about with him. In the end we came away with a high level of trust in his knowledge and technical skills. By far, the best experience of this type we have had in 20 years of living in Raleigh.

This is the worst company you can imagine. I was out of town for the Easter Holiday and a renter of a property I own had a problem with septic backing up. I was in the mountains with no cell service so he called Progressive. They determined that the tank needed to be pumped. The Cost $1,100.00 for a job I typically pay $200.00 to have done. I know it was a holiday but if a company is going to be open on that day then it is open. You don't pay inflated costs when you go to Walmart just because it is open on a holiday. They are only open on a holiday in hopes of being able to gouge people. If you call the office and ask how much to have a septic tank pumped they will tell you $325.00 that is there standard price which is higher than I normally pay but still a third of my cost

CJ arrived promptly on time. He was able to analyze my problem and suggest a remedy, basically a new toilet. I would highly recommend CJ and Progressive for plumbing problems.

Wayne was courteous and professional. He gave me a quick and reasonable appraisal of the repairs and costs. Then he did the work in a timely manner. I would certainly use them again.

Only real issue was I had to make quite a few calls/texts to get an update. Communication could have been better as I was left in the dark as to what would happen next and when. Sometimes one week would go by with no work being done or telling me what is next. Their field employees/workers Cole, Kraig and Marcus, along with Supervisor Keith Foss, were accessible. COVID-19 put this project on a long delay.

James and Cain came to our house when the master water shut off valve had failed. They were clean, wore shoe covers to protect the carpet in out house. Assessed the problem, got the equipment needed and made the valve change quickly with as little mess as could be imagined.If I need help with plumbing again, Progressive Service Company will be my go to guy.

Had a leak in my downstairs area of my home. After multiple cuts into my sheetrock walls determine it was hot water heater right beside all the now new openings in my wall. Estimate was extremely high for replacement and found another plumbing company that did a great job and for $400.00 less. Progressive charged me $202.70 to cut holes in my walls and tell me the issue was somewhere else and did nothing to repair any of the damage to walls.

We’ve used Progressive for years and have always been satisfied with the results. This time our AC quit working and we called Progressive. They sent someone out that afternoon and cleaned a section of the condensation line that we didn’t know about. That was clogged badly and man, was it gross! The repairman was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. He answered all our questions and we had a bunch! He was great. We will continue to use them when we have plumbing and AC issues.

Progressive did a fantastic job for our home. We had a roots growing into our sewer lines and the plumbing was starting to back up. They responded the same day and fixed the problem very fast. Beware customers. This company has NO customer service at all. I was scheduled to have 4 toilets installed. The plumber was suppose to come between 1:00 pm and 6:00 pm on Tuesday. He called around 10:00 am and asked, am I suppose to install 4 toilets today, I answered, yes. He wanted to come at 10:00 am. I had a doctors appointment at 11:00 am Itold him he would have to come at 1:00 as scheduled. This is a long story, but to make it short. Heather made the appointment, so I called her and she told me, No I'll call him and I will call you right back. Heather did call me back and said, i can make this appointment on Thursday. I couldn't make it I was having woman to my home. I called Lowes, they sub contracted this company. The woman in installed sales called Progressive while i was on the phone. We had a conference call with a woman named Christine and i have to say, she was the most disrespectful, rude and very crude individual i have ever been in contact with. Bottom line, i requested another installer. This company may be good but their customer service is worthless .You dont treat people like this. I only gave them one star because you can't give less.

It's a rare instance when I sit down to write a review, but have to say, that Progressive Service Co. provided outstanding service on the installation of my new Trane A/C unit. From start to finish they were prompt, courteous and helpful in educating us on the proper equipment to purchase. Their estimate was right on the money and they finished the job in about 4 hours. While driving on the highway yesterday, in the rain, one of your service vehicles that was behind me in traffic decided to use a merging lane as their own personal passing lane, swerve in front of me causing me to slam on my breaks, and get literally no where in the process. Here's the thing, if they are going to have such little regard for my safety while driving, I don't want them in my home or business. How are they going to treat me then? The truck was numbered, which I have. We were in traffic. They weren't going to get any where with their idiotic stunt to pass ONE car.

My main water source completely went out to age. I called 5 companies and this one was the only one that was responsive and informative. The tech Daymon D. called me and informed me when he was on his way and of any delays upon his arrival which I appreciated. He was diligent and cleaned up the area when all the work was done. He was able to work with my home warranty company as well to get some of the repairs covered. I would highly recommend this company and this tech for anyone.

Progressive installed a new HVAC system for me. I got quotes from multiple companies and theirs offered the most value for the cost. I’m glad I went with Progressive because they did an excellent job and were professional, fast, and clean. I would highly recommend them to other people needing HVAC repairs or replacements.

Electrician came out at appointed time and was great but not able to complete the task. He committed to coming back with help but we have not heard back from him yet, so the job is not complete.

AJ was great at diagnosing & repairing my gas hot water heater but I have an issue with Progressive's pricing. The thermostatic gas control valve had to be replaced and AJ quoted me $767 parts & labor. I called a couple local plumbing supply centers and that exact part retails for $191 AJ stated he doesn't set the pricing so I called Progressive and spoke to the service manager Kimberly. She stated she doesn't control pricing either, the owner of the company does, but she did agree to reduce the price by 10% and the final tally was $693. Arrival time 10:45am and repairs completed by 1pm which included AJ going to get the part. Progressive made a nice profit for less 2-1/2 hours work. Would I recommend them? Yes on responsiveness and punctuality, but a big NO on pricing/value.

This company operates on lies and false advertising. This company will oversell things to you and your family and offer no warranty. Techs have been known to cause extensive damage to your home and then company will completely rugsweep your complaints. Half of the techs are not even knowledgeable half the time. As a former employee I know this company is a scam. Please beware!!!! One one occasion a plumber caused a customer's entire home to mold and on another occasion a tech caused a homeowners entire kitchen to warp because he was too lazy to check the dishwasher connections after diagnosing. Protect your investment, choose a reputable company. This company has the highest turnover rate in the triangle which of course happens when the manager possesses no business savvy. Also beware of reviews company pays its employees to review if you search closely enough if you will see the owner has his own wife giving false statements.

I'm feeling generous giving a 2 star rating. My hot water heater went out Thursday I was told a technician wouldn't be available until the following Monday. I was also told they would over night the parts needed to fix it. Well the parts did not arrive on friday but instead on 1 part needed arrived Monday 1 hour before the technician. So the unit could not be fixed becuae they had to overnight the part again that's didn't arrive. So here it is 6 days of no hot water. Not sure when the technician can come...my point is your greeting and business card say 24 hour emergency service yet a week later the matter is not resolved

I had a double vanity installation and the drawers were not placed properly. The installer said to use some WD-40 and it would work. After they left I looked more closely and 2 of the drawers are completely not set properly. They knew it and just did not want to deal with correcting it. Now I have to get them to fix it which will be very difficult. I do not recommend this company.

Progressive Service Company was requested by our home warranty provider to address an issue that we were having with our 2nd floor A/C unit. I received a call from the CSR Rep, Lisa B., shortly after the home warranty company dispatched a the request to them, she was able to schedule an appointment for the next day & the technician, Travis H., arrived during the time frame stated to assess the issue. Travis H. was able to find the problem within minutes of his arrival and was successful in taking care of it. Both Lisa B. & Travis H. conducted themselves in a very professional and courteous manner & I would highly recommend them to others.

We had a leak to our hot water heater and had to shut the water off inside the house. Progressive sent a plumber to our house on a Sunday afternoon, moving us to a sooner appointment when they had a cancellation. Martin, the plumber, explained what he saw, asked some questions to determine if there was an additional cause to the pipe failure, and performed a test on water pressure. Our pressure was high and an additional repair was recommended to replace a valve that was failing. (Even I could see that it needed to be replaced). Progressive could have done a quick Band-Aid repair to the pipe knowing that we would probably soon have another failure that could cause much more damage and another service call. Instead, Martin fixed both parts of the problem.

Got an incredibly reasonable estimate to have six recessed lights, a ceiling fan, and an additional outlet installed.Chad showed up on time and performed all duties expertly. He was professional, did a great job, and definitely left me feeling like a valued customer. I will be using this company again

This is the second time I have used Progressive, and I am pleased with the service. My only complaint this time was the lateness of the rep. The arrival time given was between 1-3pm. I got a a text at 3:08pm stating the rep was in route to my home, but didn't show up until after 5pm. I will not let one bad experience turn me away from Progressive. I will be calling them again for service when necessary.

I recently purchaed a countertop with Lowes, and opted to use the company they provided to disconnect and reconnect the plumbing. If I'd known how difficult this company was going to be in regards to disconnecting and reconnecting the plumbing for a countertop installation. I would have found a better company myself and paid the extra money for better service.

Woke up to water in my garage. Figured out that it was leaking from a drain pipe that came down from the attic. Dustin came out same day and let me know that my water heater, which is in the attic, was finished after 23 years. He got got rid of the old one, down two flights of stairs, installed the new one, up two flights of stairs, flushed it, and had me back up and running within a few hours. Nice guy, worked really hard in a hot attic. I appreciate his work, great job.

Brian performed maintenance check on the HVAC (I hope I used the correct term). His visit was just a few days we experienced unusually cold weather in mid-October. He was very helpful by providing answers to my questions. He also explained things that I was not aware of. I did not like the programmable thermostat and he replaced it with a simple thermostat which I understood much better than the programmable. I now feel much more comfortable after he inspected the system.

CJ diagnosed the problem with my water heater and showed me pictures of the problem areas as he explained the problems. I chose to have home replace my water heater, which he did. His work was efficient and cost effective.

We have used Progressive for years for our HVAC service. I've always found them to be honest and direct...they will tell you when a repair is necessary and when you may be able to get by for a while. We have had them replace entire units, as well as provide regular maintenance, and have always found them to be friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Trevor, who came out and provided a semi-annual maintenance for us today, was no exception. Polite, thorough and professional; he made sure I understood what had been done, what he had found, and what was covered by the maintenance plan. We are very satisfied with the service.

Very shady experience. I had an emergency & paid for an estimate, I guess they thought I was hostage & would be willing to pay for anything. The quote was VERY high, they would not tell me if it was emergency hour rates or if other options were available. They would not provide the information I asked for on parts (such as brand name). They would not discuss what parts were included in the package. They did not offer any options or additional packages.They did not offer a price on restoring water to the house while I decided. They showed back up without calling to confirm I was moving forward & tried to pressure me with the emergency fee. The other companies I had provide estimates were much more transparent & trustworthy, I do not plan to have a Progressive Service Company representative in my house again.

I have been using Progressive Plumbing for the past several years and find that all of their employees are knowledgeable and professional. I find that their prices are fair and quality is excellent. I highly recommend Progressive Plumbing.

I have a toilet that shrieks every time it is flushed. The service technician said it was probably the pressure valve, which would cost $500 to repair. He said that my water pressure was at 120 when it should be at 80. I agreed to have the pressure valve installed and the toilet still shrieks.I went to Lowe’s and purchased a part for $14 that they said would solve the problem.I have spent several thousand dollars with Progressive redoing my house. I’m wouldn’t have spent $500 if a $14 part would solve the problem. I feel like I have been taken advantage of and am very disappointed.

Had Progressive come out this morning for an AC spring checkup. Service Tech was Brian Rodney. Brian was within 13 nanoseconds of the stated time frame for arrival for the job.Brian has called on us now three of the past 4 times we have had Progressive attend to our annual service on heating and air. Brian is the ultimate in professionalism. He is prompt, knowledgeable, well spoken and easy to understand. He understands doing cost-effective and timely work. We welcome him back anytime to keep our heating and air system in top working order.

I would recommend Progressive Service to anyone after my recent experience with them! I was trying to coordinate a re-install after a flooring company messed up the flooring and had to come back. I called asking if there was any way for them to get there that day, as I had an appraiser coming back to do a re-inspect the following day. Not only were they able to get it done, but they were extremely pleasant about it. I look forward to working with them again!

I do not like the time span given, “arrival between 8am and 6pm”. You should not expect customers to put their lives on hold for a day waiting for service. Toto Rescue does a better job of scheduling appointments.

The worst service company ever! They installed a new HVAC system which stopped working the next day itself. Even after calling them multiple times, since the past 4-5 days, it had not been fixed yet. Please avoid this scam company!

Progressive is an awful company. They price gouge and are charging double what the market charges for services. They take advantage of emergency situations. Also they charge for unnessecary items. Progressive quotes to do work at my home and they would have to remove part of the fence. The worker proceeded to tell me he would take the fence down and not put it up. Don't use this company if you don't want to be taken for a price gouge. There are other companies cheaper and do the same work.

I needed a quick estimate and electrical work completed in order to get my house on the market for sale. They came the next day for the estimate, then scheduled the work for the next day. The technicians were wonderful to deal with, and the work was done efficiently. There were no extra charges when the work was completed. I would recommend them to any home owner.

Justin installed our dishwasher. Had a leak during the installation that needed to be worked out and he did a great job finding the problem. My hardwood floor is slightly buckled now however. We thought all was well but then discovered the drawer at a 90 degree angle from the dishwasher cannot fully open due to the dishwasher sticking out too far. I sent Justin an email with no response. I called twice and was told they would get a message to him to call us but have not received any calls from Progressive or Justin. Very disappointed in their customer service.

They were scheduled to deliver again Monday so I took another day off (3rd day taking off for delivery) and they didn’t show up, didn’t call. I called them today and was told “they called yesterday” yet no call and no voicemail. Not to mention the delivery was supposed to be here Monday. Then I was hung up on! Save yourself the trouble!

This Susan posting for Nancy. Noah installed our new dishwasher from Lowe's Home Improvement yesterday, July 24, 2019. Our allotted time to expect installation was 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Noah called approximately 30 to 40 minutes prior to arrival and was at our home by about 8:10 AM. Noah is pleasant and personable. Upon removing the old dishwasher, Noah informed us that the wiring was not up to code, which was due to our house being an older home. His advice was to install a kill switch to bring it up to code and that he was authorized, able and willing to do this. The price was reasonable so we agreed to have this done. The installation was uneventful and the work was professionally done. We were very pleased to have had Noah do this work for us. Noah is very friendly, knowledgeable and cared that we be more than satisfied with the new dishwasher.

John arrived within an hour of reporting a sewer backup. He was thorough and took his time to triage the issue and find the least invasive solution and came returned the next day to finish the job. Five stars!

I highly value communication, forthrightness, and quality of service. James demonstrated all by clearly conveying what the issues were, how he would go about resolving them, what the costs would be, and addressed all my questions before proceeding with the work. He completed the job with unquestionable professionalism and thoroughness. I appreciated the pictures that accompanied the invoice which is useful for my records. The overall job was a bit pricy for my taste and it’s likely that I could have found a provider less costly. However, the quality of work, the level of attention to detail, and the customer service surpassed any of my expectations and by far is the best plumbing service provider I’ve utilized.

The two people from Progressive that came out performed service okay. They did not complete the job. Water was dripping from faucet and they did not change the washers for the faucet. $250 was the fee charged and paid by check. No detailed report or receipt was given for services rendered.

Progressive was quick to respond to a sewer back up at our home in Raleigh. Gary & Justin were very courteous and diligent in their efforts to find the problem and correct it. We ended up having to replace about 20' of sewer line and a broken cleanout that was clogged with roots in our front yard. They hung in there start to finish and completed the installation in one day. We're back up and running. I heartily recommend these guys for your plumbing needs! Thanks again!

Out of the blocks they were very good, sincere and I felt good about it. But, when I called to get an update on my service call, which was scheduled for 10:00am to 1:00pm, 2 hours and 48 minutes had passed of their 3 hour window. I did receive a call 40 minutes later and the CSR stated that the service tech got tied up on he call before mine. They stated that I would get a call when he was on the way. Well, 3 more hours had passed, my day was blown so I called and cancelled. By the way...it was now 3:56pm...I

Service professionals were excellent (dishwasher installation), but office staff were difficult to work with. Scheduling was difficult, office staff were rude, unhelpful and unprofessional. We used Progressive Service for installing a dishwasher bought at Lowe's. We are planning to provide this feedback to Lowe's as well, so that they are aware of how poorly Progressive treats their customers. The service professionals who came to the house to do the actual installation could not have been nicer or more professional. It is a pity that the schedulers are so difficult to work with.

Damon came out the same day I first contacted Progressive Service Company and replaced my 20 year old hot water! I couldn't believe how quickly he did it AND he did it all by himself.I'm quite happy with the quality of the service I received; I'll be sure to use Progressive again in the future.

Jonathan installed a new, larger hot water heater for our family and it was a HUGE help! This guy is a true professional, and takes his time to explain things as he's doing them, as well as offer some tips along to way on how to save some money during this process. This was a job we considered tackling ourselves but are so glad we didn't because the end product was so much better having him do it. We bought a faucet and the installation has been through progressive, and no one has been responsive to our calls. This is extremely unprofessional, and I would never recommend them. Again, we are constantly calling on the weekdays and all they ever say is everyone from the installation dept has left or they won't pick up the call.

I have used progressive for both plumbing and HVAC. everyone was professional and you can be sure they are skilled. However, not everyone is vaccinated and the company does not require. Nor did they seem i te rested in this when I called. II will not let un-Vaxed ppl inside, So I could not continue with the HVAC service and found service where all are vaccinated.

AC thermostat replacement: I was very happy with the service I received and all the information the tecknition provided when he had to replace thermostat. I called the company at 10 AM for help and ther service tec arrived by 1 PM. I am very satisified the this company and will use them again.

The team was requested to assess an improper wall oven installation & come up with a plan to remedy the situation. They worked quickly to find the problem, came up with a few options to resolve the situation, settled on one & implemented it promptly.

This was one of the most frustrating experiences I have had with a company. My HVAC naturally went out on the 4th of July. I gave the company a call and they said they could have a technician call and give me the after hours rate (first off, I know it's a holiday but you are a 24 hour service so how is this after hours?). Anyway, I agreed to the call.No one called.The next morning they did call promptly around 830 and said a technician would be there between 1-3 and would call when they were 20 minutes out. 245 rolls around and I have heard nothing. Finally at 3 I received a call saying they would be there in 35 minutes. An hour and a half later no one has shown up so I call. The woman puts me on hold and calls the technician. She says the technician was outside. Well, that was a lie. It was another ten minutes before the technician showed up.He was nice and a young kid so I didnt want to take my frustrations out on him but goodness gracious the scheduling and communication from this company is atrocious. I know it's hot and after a holiday so I am sure there were many emergencies, but how hard is it to communicate all of that to a customer? Will not be using again.

When I needed a quote for a water heater replacement they were quick to send a person out but after days of calling they never emailed me an estimate. I tried three times and each time they assured me someone would be sending it but it never came. Maybe I have been an anomaly but this is pretty terrible bureaucratic customer service and communication.

We had a new dishwasher installed by Progressive Service Company which was subcontracted through a purchase we made at Lowes. I'm not sure how the company does with other services but have heard they are on the high side. So the reason I am writing this review and giving it a 5 is solely based on the service technician Marcus. He was one of the most professional individuals I've ever dealt with on a install or repair. If this company has awards or promotions for individuals that go above and beyond Marcus deserves it.

Ivan and Rivers showed up to fix a problem left by Home Depot's generic installers. They were on time and friendly. But more importantly, they solved my issue quickly. They were also gracious about me interrupting and asking questions along the way.

RESPONSIVE & SKILLED! They took my emergency and graciously made it theirs. Another plumber claimed an Elkay water filling station was defective. Kody B., service tech with Progressive Service Company, called 30 minutes prior to arrival. He was pleasant and professional. He immediately went to work removing our old Insinkerator garbage disposer and installed its new replacement. Kody worked quickly and expertly, making sure that the installation was expertly done. He kept the work area clean during the work, then removed the old disposer and associated debris at job completion. I had several questions about the work and also asked about some additional plumbing work that we needed. He thoroughly answered all my questions, and made some very helpful suggestions. This was my first experience with Progressive Service Company, and I have already scheduled the next service call with them to address those additional plumbing issues that I discussed with Kody. I highly recommend Progressive and Kody B.

Jeremy F. did a fantastic job installing my garbage disposal. He was polite and friendly and he finished the job in about 1 hour. He made sure to test it several times before leaving, and he showed me a couple of quick fixes. I would recommend both him and Progressive Service Company to anyone in the Triangle Area who needs a good plumber, HVAC technician, or electrician. I will definitely use him in the future.

I submitted for a work order on a Wednesday and was told that my technician, Tim, would be out to service from 8-11 then was told it moved to 1pm AFTER I called to follow up at 11. After 1pm, still no technician, to the point of where the operator was confused.No updates or communication - For their answering machine to say always on time is 100% false advertisement in my experience. Just moved to NC and I would stay away from these guys for my future projects just based off of them not fulfilling a basic “promise” they make..Asked to submit a complaint on the technician to the manager, but I was not given the option by the operator so I told him the manager can contact me based off of the review if they want.If you don't have hot water and need it asap, steer clear of Progressive.EDITED TO PROVIDE A QUALITY COMPANY:Use Blantons, you will not be disappointed! Sunday morning 10:00, placed a call to their office. Mark called me within five minutes. I had a four inch water line burst seven feet below a parking lot. Mark had it repaired as he promised by 6:00 p.m. On a Sunday, and he was as pleasant and professional as anyone I've met. Great people, great company. They've got it all together.

My folks needed the heating/cooling unit replaced and Lisander Perez and Brian Perez were very professional, diligent, and efficient. Lisander Perez went above and beyond explaining the process and helped us to learn how to use the new thermostat after replacing the old one. All in all, I highly recommend this company and if you happen to have Lisander and Brian Perez doing the repair, you're in great hands!

I called Progressive to fix a leak that appeared to be coming from somewhere between the tank and the base of the 17 year old toilet. They sent Pete the Plumber to fix the problem. Pete determined the problem to be one of the gaskets having broken down over time and needing to be replaced. He suggested rebuilding the internals of the tank to solve the problem and prevent a near term call back on one, or more, of the other aging parts. I gave him the OK and he rebuilt the tank internals. Later that night, my wife noticed some water behind the toilet again, but to make sure that it was not residual water, we cleaned it up and put dry paper towels down. The next morning, the towels had wet spots, so we called Progressive back up, and they quickly sent Pete, and another plumber, Mike, out. After they examined the situation, they noticed that the bottom of the tank was warped enough that the gaskets could not quite make a good seal. They advised me that the toilet manufacturer went out of business several years ago, and the 3rd party replacement parts companies did not make a gasket that could work adequately on a tank with that much warp. They advised me that the only good long term solution was to replace the toilet.Upon their advice, I went to Lowes, purchased a new toilet, and they installed it for no additional charge. I call that incredibly good customer service to achieve customer satisfaction.

John Mayo came out to our house on memorial day. We had two leaks and it was awful coming home to that. He was patient with us knowledgeable and also gave us different solutions to fix the problem.I appreciated him so much for giving us different options, but also just fixing the problem.I would recommend this company to anybody with the urgency and patience and solutions they provided us. I hope that John Mayo will be recognized for this because he was fabulous and deserves it.

They did good work but are way overpriced. I will seek out a cheaper alternative in the future. 600$ to swap out a faucet is a bunch....

Progressive did an install through Lowes for a dishwasher. Cody was the installer. Did a great job got it done as quickly as possible. Ran through the basic features afterwards and was very pleasant while here. It's installed a lot more securely than the homebuilder had put in the original one. Best on this I would use them again for an appliance install.

The company was prompt with my installation from Lowe's, with the scheduler calling on Sunday to set up an appt. We are quite pleased with the service we received from Progressive. Our appointment for a non-emergency plumbing job was scheduled promptly, and the service technician, Jason E., was excellent. He was very knowledgeable about how to deal with unclogging old, inaccessible cast iron pipes in our old farm house, clearly explaining the situation and describing our options. He fully resolved the problem -- the kitchen sink has never drained better -- and told us what to do to keep it from coming back. He also replaced our leaking garbage disposal unit and was able to show us just how worn out the earlier unit had become. Uros came and installed my new Maytag dishwasher and despite my floor being very difficult (3 floors built on top of each other from previous owner) he managed to get the old one out and new one in with some ingenuity. Progressive Service Company is highly reputable and highly professional. I've had them out for sink installation, dishwasher installation and now to install a new hot water heater. I should have taken the time previously to post a review, but I got busy and time slipped by.This time, however, Aaron's service, the plumber that helped me out, was so above and beyond, that I have to take the few minutes to post a positive review. I originally called because we were losing water pressure on hot water. Aaron gave me the bad news that my 20 year old water heater was about halfway filled with sediment and really needed to be replaced. The price he quoted me for a new 50 gal felt a bit high, but he was very knowledgeable about the different manufacturers and assured me that the majority of the cost was going towards a top quality heater.Still, I wanted to do my own research and I told him I'd reschedule the work. What I found out is that if I went with a Lowe's or Home Depot brand, I might be able to save a few hundred, but they would take weeks to get my scheduled and their brand options were nearly as energy efficient or reliable. I called back Progressive and rescheduled. They said they could have Aaron back out the next morning.Not only did Aaron come back the next morning, as friendly and professional as can be, and install the new hot water heater, but he also took a look at a minor leak I was having under my kitchen sink and resealed a couple of the joints without me even needing to ask. Progressive has won my business for as long as I'm in the area, and I hope they reward and take of employees like Aaron.

I had back up problem in my bathrooms and called progressive and the plumbers came earlier than I expected. They were very polite and very knowledgeable about the problem. The job ended up being more difficult because the clean out valve was located under the house where there is no space. I decided to have it move it out from underneath the house to make it easier in the future. They spent hours digging and getting to the sewer pipe and there were even more complications because of the building codes back in the 70s and how pipes were laid out. But through all The obstacles they Persevered and found that the problem was not with my pipes but with the city/county. Both James and Logan were absolutely fantastic and worked for two days to get everything fixed so I could use the bathrooms. I would recommend those two for an award for their patience, perseverance, And excellence at their job. Progressive is my go to place for any problems that need fixing.

They removed old solar panels from our roof and replaced our water heater. Very happy with the service! Would definitely recommend and use them again.

We bought our new hot water heater from Lowe’s Home Improvement and they subcontracted Progressive Service Company to install it. It took a week of calling to get an installation appointment set up. It was originally scheduled for a Tuesday at 1pm. When they had not shown up at 4pm, we called and were told they did not have the correct parts and would be here in the next hour and a half. They never came. We were rescheduled for Wednesday between 1-2pm, they had not shown up at 3pm and gave the same excuse. They finally showed up at 4pm, installed the hot water heater and then left our exterior basement door wide open. I don’t think we will be using Progressive Service Company directly for service or Lowe’s for home improvement needs again.

Don't know what happened tonight. I've always used Progressive for most of our maintenance needs. Tonight, however, we had an emergency at one of our units where sewage and water was coming out of every drain and called at 2 AM. I called back 40 minutes later to get an update, the lady said the other lady her neighbor was on the phone with the technician and would call you right back in just a few minutes. I then called back 15 minutes later to follow up and the lady on the line (a different one) said she couldn't give me any updates besides that she'd send a message out in hopes to have someone get back with me.Finally, I called back to cancel the servicer at 3:25 AM as it had already been 1.5 hrs of waiting in a Is-someone-coming-or-not? state.Then, as of 4:15 AM, 2 hours and 15 minutes after my call a technician called me to set up a time to come out and look at the property and hadn't been informed I cancelled at 3:20.Very disappointed as I've used and referred them often. Hopefully it's a one-time problem but definitely will make me think twice about calling them next time, especially in an urgent situation.

Nelson Romero did a FANTASTIC job with our issue! We woke up to a 54 degree house, called Progressive, and they were here within a few hours. When it seemed like we needed a part that wouldn't be delivered, Nelson called around to find something to fix it right away, and he did! He also explained the fix, showed us the relevant areas in the HVAC system, and was overall an excellent technician. p.s. Progressive, Nelson deserves a raise!

Great response from Progressive Plumbing today. I called them because we did not have hot water. They set up an appointment for today. Damien showed up early. He reviewed our situation with me then checked our system. What a great guy, friendly, knowledgeable and more than willing to explain what he was doing.During his checking out why we didn’t have hot water he discovered that our pressure relief valve was corroded and in need of replacement. He determined that our hot water tank was working properly but our recirculating pump was not functioning properly. During his time with us he explained the options for how to repair or replace our hot water heater. He made a number of phone calls to his office to help diagnose our problem.Progressive plumbing will be scheduling a return appointment to fix the recirculating pump but in the meantime we have hot water, and a new pressure relief valve.Really a great first time experience with Progressive Plumbing. I will be recommending them to my friends.

Progressive has always been honest and fair in the work they’ve done at my home, but most importantly, they are true experts. They produce high quality work and I would recommend them to anyone for plumbing and hvac needs.

We had progressive put a new Trane HVAC in our home and they were nothing short of amazing! They pulled all of the permits, then they sent an Electrician to do the wiring, the next day the HVAC techs came out and told me everything they would be doing and installed the system so fast I thought the tech had to be kidding when he said he was done. The week after they installed it our county inspector came out and after he was done he told me that it was the best install he has seen in the whole county. If you are looking for an HVAC system do yourself a favor and call these guys for an inspection.

I called when my AC stopped working on one of the hottest days of the year. They were here in 4 hours and had the air back on in less than 30 minutes. Honest technician, very friendly and gave good long-term advice. When my unit finally kicks the can they will be getting my business again.

Nothing was wrong. Just so hot it can't keep up and we bought a large unit way over what was recommended. Brian was very professional. That was my first post but look now after 7 years later.Since I posted this review. We had problems with our a/c and it wasn’t fixed or diagnosed and Treavor said the unit was working fine, ignoring the error message on thermostat. Treavor via Sheldon charged me $180 for one hour labor, plus a $79 or $89 to diagnose the problem which was never done. Progressive sent out another very thorough agent who discovered the company (mfg) had replaced the thermostat with a new unit and that fixed it. it’s Bluetooth and it wasn’t getting a signal. Sheldon said he would not honor any warranty. So they still have 3 or 4 years warranty On the unit b/c the sales agent wrote the agreement on their letterhead. He was fired shortly thereafter. He gave us 10 years warranty.

Travis arrived on schedule, was polite, and explained the problem, which he promptly fixed. This was last week and all has been well since. We have been using Progressive for several years and thoroughly recommend them.

My warranty company contracted this company to replace my water heater. My warranty company would only pay for the water heater and part of the labor b/c they said my water heater was not up to code. I did my research and found out the only thing I needed to bring it up to code was to have it placed on a stand. However, a rep with Progressive told me they (Progressive) had their own guidelines and I had to agree to pay out of pocket for a stand, piping, plate and expansion tank. Long story I did not use progressive.

Cody and Joey were the consummate professionals. They called, they arrived at the time they said, introduced themselves, got right to work on my repair! They were prepared, even anticipated possible issues, but were still prepared for that. They were neat and clean even with a sink job! Through discussion, Cody educated me about this job so I will be more knowledgeable when this issue arrises in the future, and it will! Thank you so much!!!

I had a great technician (Timothy P.) who was super informative and even gave me some tips when he was done to keep everything running smoothly. He was very friendly, courteous and professional. He was done in no time.

To be clear, the gentleman that came out (Marcus) was excellent. Professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I only have a (significant) problem with the pricing, which he has no control over. I was told how much it would be for the labor to replace a hot water heater (almost $2,000...just for the labor, not the materials) and based on that I assumed it would be easily 10 hours of labor. As it turns out, it took less than 4, or so. $500~ an hour. Is that reasonable? In my opinion, no. I didn't call off-hours but even if I had, $500 an hour is completely unreasonable. I called, after the work was done, to ask about pricing and the person I spoke to said they don't give out pricing over the phone. I pushed a little so the lady said she'd check with someone. When she got back to me she said replacing a hot water heater can cost anywhere from $1,500 to $10,000. That is an incredibly unprofessional, and more than likely sarcastic, response from a company. The work that was done was very good and, like I said, Marcus was excellent. But my gut tells me the company is ok with (significantly) overcharging customers. I supposed I should have asked how long it would take before I committed to it but the challenge is 1) it's a broken hot water heater that needs to be fixed ASAP and 2) they charge you for the visit regardless of whether you contract with them or not. So they know you're in a pinch. While I probably should have asked how long it would take, I was trusting that they weren't going to gouge me. It's unfortunate to learn that you can't trust what appears to be a reputable company. I won't use them again.

My experience with Progressive Plumbing Company's Raleigh location has been very smooth so far, especially considering my experiences with other companies. I own a commercial building in Downtown Raleigh and I've hired 5 HVAC company's and 3 plumbing company's in the past 3 years. Previously I worked with Michael and Son, who did a good job but they charge commission and so when I received my quotes from Progressive I was surprised to see the difference in price. Progressive was 20% lower than Michael and Son, which makes sense as they are not advertising as aggressively. The technicians who serviced my needs were clean cut, professional and did an excellent job. They are locally owned and have very down to earth, committed owners. I highly recommend this business for your residence and/or commercial plumbing, HVAC or electrical needs.

The Prices are out of this world HIGH. My company contacted the Burlington office to have work done in Mebane NC. Because Burlington was ill-equipped to do the work, it was sent to the Raleigh office. At no time was I told I would be charged one of the highest hourly rates on the market for work done and for the travel time. At $189 per hour they drove to spend 10 minutes measuring what they needed. This was clocked at 2 hours. (I was later informed that they rounded up from 1 hour 40 mins) With Raleigh only 45 mins away, I can only assume that the last job performed by the tech was on the far side of Raleigh. With the Tech only at my location for 10 minutes, that is an hour and half drive, or $284. Then the measurements were used to construct lids for a grease trap that they clocked at 5.5 hours. There is no way for me to know they actual amount of time spent because they were in Raleigh. Next they drove me these lids and put them in. At first I was impressed that they went ahead and brought the lids knowing that they were coming back in a couple days to do the work on the grease trap. Now I now why they were happy to bring the lids. They charged me 6 hours to come and put the lids on. Not install, as they are in fact just removable lids. 5-10 minutes if you have to be specific, though really 2-3 minutes could do the job. So if the travel time holds true as first explained to me, that would be 5 hours and 45 minutes of travel. Apparently, their last job was in Geargia, or Washington DC. Finally, they came to do the final part of the job and installed T pipes to my City ordinance. This was the part of the job I would have expected to be labor intensive, and it was at 2.5 hours. This is in fact how long they were at my location doing work and no travel time was included. So, After contacting them to get clarification to the high labor prices, they tried to say that they always include travel time from the previous job, and did not say any clarification on the 6 hours that are unaccounted for $1134. So if you are the poor fellow who had the tech come to your house after he did my work, you would have anywhere from 45 minutes to 5 hours and 45 minutes added to your $189 per hour bill. This Company is clearly trying to take advantage of bad situations rather than having a fair, measurable, explainable, provable prices. I made contact with Todd Carroll before writing this review in an effort to clear up the confusion as to where these extra hours came from and he was unable to do so. I have been charged $4000 dollars for a job that others have explained should have been no more than $1500-$2000. Please heed my warning when looking for a company and use someone who is not trying to take advantage of those needing repairs. Find someone you can trust.

You would think a luxury bath place would hire a certified plumber to make sure the drain in the fancy shower stall was properly connected to the pipe that takes the water away. We thought so too, and didn't realize water from the shower was running right into the crawl space until drain flies started breeding in the muck below the shower. CJ arrived quickly, crawled through stagnant water, cut several inches off the pipe to make sure the water flowed down and out, and reattached it properly. It was a sweaty, muddy job, but he was friendly and professional. He even took some pictures that I will take to the luxury bath place. Thanks Progressive!

After having a surprise leak in my upstairs shower I called Progressive. CJ came out, diagnosed the problem and fixed it quickly and professionally. He has such an amazing customer service personality and was happy to answer questions and explain what was going on as he worked, and he did it all with a wonderful sense of humor. Brittney was very organized, helpful and friendly in keeping me informed as to the appointment status.Staff like CJ and Brittney as well as excellent quality of service are why I have been a Progressive customer for the past few years now and recommended them to many others. Marcus with progressive was fantastic. I had a large leak underneath the concrete slab in my home. He was very professional, took the time to detail all the possible outcomes for me, complete the very extensive repair in one day, and thoroughly photo documented the entire process. It was an intense situation and progressive made it better and did an incredible job. I definitely recommend them and will use them again.

After a debacle regarding the initial installation of our Bosch dishwasher, the 2nd crew led by Michael Patterson with assistance from John Gloss corrected well the issues in a professional manner. We did find out after the Bosch rep replaced the dented handle (as initially delivered) we were told by Bosch rep that two brackets still needed to be installed behind bottom plate. Bosch immediately mailed and we are awaiting the return of the Progressive Service Rep (hopefully Michael) to install to hopefully complete fully the installation!!

Kind of difficult to review this experience. It started by a very condescending receptionist moving to a “senior” plumber which came and treated to double the price of a previously quoted job; leaving it half done under the promise to continue “next Monday” coincidentally he requested days off couple days beginning of the week; I said coincidentally because he mentioned more than couple times how hard that concrete slab was to break and leaving behind a bag of trash on my babies playground made of synthetic grass. The following week around midweek a different plumber came and finished the job in a professional way. So; not sure how to review them since it’s 50% poor delivery and 50%good. There is no pattern just 2 extreme different experiences.

The service was great no doubt. However we were hoping to get a Healthcare/ Education discount as we have gotten that from Progressive before. Marcus said that only the Veterans (or Military) peeps get the discounts.

CK arrived on time, and gave us estimates for both repair and replacement. When we decided to replace the faucet on our kitchen sink, he purchased the item and returned to install it. When he had finished the installation, he discovered that the finish was marred. He removed the faucet he had just installed, returned it to the supplier, and obtained a replacement, which he installed. We were extremely pleased with his professional performance and his commitment to customer satisfaction. We would highly recommend Progressive Service Co. and their skilled and friendly employees.

Chad replaced outdoor covered electrical outlet. He also removed a ceiling fan’s wiring from its connections so the fan could be taken from my patio and secured the connections.He went above and beyond the job to remove the fan for me.12/9/21. I purchased a new Lenox heat pack. Process was very easy and very quick. The two guys that installed it, Lysander Perez and Brian Perez were fantastic. I had my other level system put in 8 years ago and still running great. The salesman, Scottie was also great. Very knowledgeable. Not pushy. Jade, who handled the scheduling and payment was great as well.

Install gas stove and they have cancelled and rescheduled 3 times pushing it out for weeks. Was required to use this company thru LOWES home improvement. NEVER AGAIN

It was bad! I called for emergency service that tech came out next morning on Saturday. Diagnosis was to change transformer and pressure switch to come out with estimate and parts because vet holiday shops were closed. That was totally wrong got charged $199+tax. I called ARS and they came out Sunday & cleaned value to make system blowing hot air right away!

Horrible customer service from this company. Do not use!! The service technician failed to fix the issue I called about and then the company still hasn't sent a second technician out in almost a month! They do not call you back, they do not perform professional service, and their customer service is horrible. Do not let all of these fake reviews fool you! They charge way too much for the level of service.

The team was amazing! I can’t remember the plumbers name but, shouldn’t be hard to figure out because he was 6’9”. Despite him being a large man he was very nice and professional. Cannot recommend Progressive Services enough! We had a serious plumbing issue that another company told us would require an entire redo of pipes/sewer line and called several companies for estimates. CJ from Progressive was one of those, and he encouraged us to take a more conservative approach and find what the exact problem was first. He worked diligently and patiently with our old house and was able to resolve the problem (a simple clog!) within a day and at a fraction of the cost! Go with Progressive before you try that Big Company with the catchy jingle...your pocketbook would be paying for their advertising, not good service.

Progressive plumbing is an Unethical and incompetent company. Buyer beware. I had them in to find a leak. They misdiagnosed the cause of the leak. Charged over $1,000 for the repair, but the leak continued eventually causing more than $10K worth of damage. Progressive has refused to refund the fee they charged me. After consultation with an attorney, it would cost more in legal fees to recoup the cost and Progressive knows this. Do yourself a favor. Stay away.

Amazing experience with Ivan P. at Progressive Service Company. He was hired to install my dishwasher by my property management company. He came over on time and was super friendly. He did a great job with the installation but what I did not expect was for him to notice a leak under my sink and take it upon himself to fix it. He and Ricky went OVER AND BEYOND by fixing this!! The best customer service I have experience in a very long time. I am not sure if he could even bill for this but that did not seem to matter to him, he saw something that needed to be fixed and he fixed it. Ivan, you are a very kind person and will always recommend you and your company! I cannot thank you enough for your good work ethic and generosity.

The office staff was very helpful and got install set up in a reasonable amount of time. Install was done well as far as I can tell. The reason I did not give it 5 stars is because Communication was poor. I was told they would call us once the appliance was delivered to set up install, but I did not receive that call. additionally, we needed to install in the oven in a property that was vacant and was on the the market. I was told that we had a 2 hour window of the install possibly starting but they would call us 30 min before the install. Neither my husband nor I received a call. At the end of the window time I called the office. I was told that the team was at the property installing the appliance, which they were not. I pushed for them to call the install team to which they then said the team called us but must have had a wrong number? But they had 2 numbers, surely one of them was correct? In their defense they called the team back and they were at the property about 45min-1hr after I called. But had I not called we would have had to reschedule our install and this was a very time sensitive need as we were trying to sell our house.

Progressive installed our generator that we bought through Lowes. The service was arranged by Lowes. Progressive did a great job, communicated well and are pleasant to work with. I will consider them for my next job. Thanks Progressive!

Called them for AC repair and got an appointment for a few days later. They told us we were the first appointment of the day and our service tech should show up at 8-9am. No one showed. Called around 9am and they said their guy was finishing up an emergency and will be right over within 30min. 10:00am rolls around and no one has shown up. At this point I ended up going with someone else. No one has time to wait around for over 2 hours for a service call. Disappointing.

Progressive contacted me before my service appointment with a personalized message about my dishwasher installation. They were helpful when I needed to reschedule my appointment, and contacted me again to check on my satisfaction after the install. The technician, Kevin C, and his assistant called me that morning and arrived on time. They were courteous, quiet and efficient while working; then Kevin answered my questions about operating and maintaining my dishwasher. I was pleased with every stage of this service.

I've used Progressive for years and I was especially pleased with the service I had from Travis, who replaced a motor and drain trap. Lisa handled scheduling for me and found a way to save me some money on my visit that was a pleasant surprise. I highly recommend Progressive for all their services!

They were able to send someone out on the same day I called and deal with a leak in an old irrigation system (that was preventing my house from having water as well). John Mayo gave me options on how he could repair the leak, explained everything he did to fix the problem, and was able to quickly repair my leak. Very friendly and professional. The price was excellent as well. I would definitely call Progressive Service Company again for any plumbing issue.

10 star rating he was so good. Wore booties over shoes, put tarps down to protect stove while installing a new microwave that had been installed incorrectly by another company. He sealed vent. Very polite and cleaned up after himself..I wish all service men would be as conscientious and clean and polite!!!!!

Progressive Tech, Tevin E, came to install my dishwasher today and he was extremely professional and curteous. He pointed out that my dishwasher was defective and then he took it back to the store, brought me a new one, and installed it promptly. He made sure it worked and showed my how to work it before he left. Very happy with the installation and customer service!

I called Progressive Service Company because of a Septic issue at my home. Subal was on time and even called before hand to say he was 26 minutes away from showing up. When he arrived we introduced ourselves and he was polite and Professional. Now here is where it really got even better. Subal took the time to really investigate the issue and instead of trying to upsell me on tearing apart my yard (which many people did), he was honest and straightforward, informative and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain what I needed and we worked out a solution to my septic issue as well as another issue we found (water leak in the yard). Subal knows his stuff. I have been in sales for many years and can appreciate when someone has integrity and honesty. I have always said that if you treat the customer right, with honesty (instead of going for the hammer contract) you will gain so many more customers from repeat and referral business. I will not hesitate to recommend Progressive Service Company and Subal to anyone who needs plumbing (including septic and sewer) electrical and HVAC work done in their home or business. They repaired my gas pack heating system. I had a cracked igniter which kept the heater from ignititing and heating the house - it was very cold. Alexander even drove all the way across town to get the only available igniter in the area that fit my system. Greatly appreciated!
