We had to upgrade our plumbing to knock down the water pressure and unfortunately install an entirely new unit. To their credit, the job was completed in just a few hours. This company is the largest in the valley for a reason- they do exceptional work. Penguin came to my house to give me a quote on installing a new outlet in my garage for a treadmill. They quoted me right under $700 for the outlet. I previously had an outlet installed for the same reason 5 months prior in a different home and I was only charged $330. That included replacing a blown circuit and running electrical through the attic and to the opposite side of the garage from the panel. The outlet that I needed Penguin to install was on the same wall as my electrical box and maybe needed 2 ft of wire. I asked why it was so expensive and was told because the wire was really expensive. I said I’ll pass on the installation if that’s the case. I was then told they could give me a 15% discount which I also declined because the total was still too high. So I paid $69 for the bad quote and they left. After discussing it with my husband later that night, I decided to call Penguin back and see why it cost so much for 2 ft of wire. They proceeded to say that included the driving fee to our house in Phoenix, and said once again wire was expensive. I simply responded with ok thank you for the explanation and hung up. They called me back about 10 min later and said they emailed me a new quote. The new quote was in the mid $400s. At this point, I was confused because I’ve never had an electrician try to bargain with me so much. I ended up having a different electrician come the next day, he looked at the situation and said, oh this is easy and won’t be a problem. He was done in 10 minutes and charged me $140. So of course, I called Penguin back and asked for the manager to return my call because at this point I was mad and felt like I was being taken advantage of. Not to mention that I paid $69 for a rip off quote that changed 3 times in less than 24hrs. I simply wanted a refund because I was given an unrealistic quote and was lied to. Of course I never received a call back. I’m not saying that this is a normal scenario for this company but it was my scenario and I was highly disappointed in their customer service.Update:I did receive a call from one of their managers and she was very polite and took care of the situation by explaining exactly what I was being billed for and refunding my $69. I appreciated her taking the time to reach out to me and listen to my story.In response to the written response of my original comment on here, I’d like to restate that I only asked for an outlet in my garage. I never once asked for any of those other items. In fact when the manager told me about the other items, I was confused because I never asked for anything but an outlet for my garage. I know it shows 3 items on your side but one of the offers I received showed 2 items not 3, one of which I never asked for (indoor outlet). That would have required the electrician to come inside my house which never once happened while he was here. Sounds like their was some miscommunication. I apologize for stating right under $700 when it was $640. All quotes were $640, $540, $437.80. Nonetheless, it was taken care of and I appreciate your manager reaching out to me and providing great customer service.

Both of our kitchen sinks were blocked. The team was quick to respond and fairly priced. They had to remove a 50-foot-long clog in our line. In his explanation, the technician was professional, friendly, and clear. I would use them again and strongly suggest them!

They were the first to answer the phone and I am sure I haven’t talked to a nicer more well informed person in all my days. She had the professionalism, the product, and the value I was looking for. Then the rep came out to assess and consult and he delivered that same impeccable professionalism and positive demeanor without once drifting into salesmanship. He had the answers and attention to my case that made me feel I made the right choice. The techs that then came out were prompt to the minute and so polite and courteous it made me want to help them out instead! They were fast, had excellent workmanship and took care of the job like it was their own house.They were initially called Friday and the entire AC removal and install is complete today, Monday despite how busy they are.It really feels like everyone I talked to enjoys their job and the company. When the first person I talked to said they are called Day&Night for the experience they provide, not necessarily that they are open day and night, I thought that was a clever line. It is no “line”. Any company that delivers this magnitude of customer service and professional acumen from start to finish will earn my business every time and anyone I know will hear their name and referral.Bravo

Joshua came and spent almost all day Tuesday to get AC to keep house temp below 80. Yet Wednesday temp went back up to 80. Thermostat set at 75. Got the nesssge that system is calling for cooling yet temp had risen 3 degrees…. Joshua replaced something he thought might be the problem but apparently not. He tried but it didn’t work. Unit is two years old.
