Best Toilet Repair / Replacement in Omaha NE

Had them come out to look to replace a bathtub and shower surond was told after they looked at it that they would be here by 9am on the 12th to do the job,call them at 10 to get talked down to by the person who told me the 12th that its now the 18th that its always been the 18th after i checked back with them twice. Before rearrange what we have going on.

We would definitely recommend Jeff Mumm Plumbing. Jeff was very nice on the phone and sent Andy to fix our water heater. Andy was able to come same day, was extremely nice and professional, and our water heater is fixed at a reasonable rate. We will use them for all of our future plumbing needs.

I had a bad clog in my kitchen sink and a faucet that had bad water pressure. Mark put in a new faucet and unclogged my drain! He explained everything to me and did a fantastic job. The cost was reasonable! I highly recommend Perfect Plumbing in CB!

Carson and Cameron were both very professional and easy going. There wasn’t a lot of space to dig the trench we needed and when there was issues, Brad was contacted and he came to finish off the rest, due to the area being a tricky one. Not only did they get the job done, they did it with a few hurdles being thrown in their way. I will only use Big Birge going forward and I will recommend them to anyone. I almost forgot Tonya, which would’ve been a shame!! She made all communication go smoothly and was a great contact when questions arose. Thank you all!!!! Amazing job done by all of you!

Finally found a Great plumbing company! Kurt is an excellent technician - was actually early (called first) which gave him time to not only address and resolve the issue I called for but was willing and able to answer some questions on other issues. Gave some great advice and fixed another problem.

Rates are competitive but more importantly, I feel that they did exactly the job needed without attempting to upsell (No thanks Burton!). Clean, friendly, professional - could not have asked for more. My new go-to plumber!

Had to take the toilet up to do some repair and he put it back and the toilet was wiggling so he took it off again and replaced the seal again then bolted back to the floor. Explained every he was doing. Definitely recommend!!

I've been using Aksarben for years. My Geothermal unit had pumps go bad. They refuse to work on it, but had no problem charging me monthly and for the service call. I don't even have what is wrong in writing. They refuse. Find someone else for Geothermal.

CHECK HIS PRICES!!! ESPECIALLY FOR LABOR. We have used Josh in the past, was satisfied with his work and felt he was reasonable in his charges. I had some things that needed to be done so called him to come out. I failed to ask him what his labor rates were per hour however because they had always been reasonable before. BIG MISTAKE! When he gave me the bill it showed over $500 for labor for 3.5 hours. Said he now charges $145 per hour along with increasing prices on parts (expected that on the parts). While the replacement of the drain connection on the tub was tough the other work was pretty basic. Charged over $200 for parts and $500 for labor for 3.5 hours. I about gaged when he presented a bill for over $760.00. Even though my fault for not asking ahead of time I will never use him again as I felt he took advantage of me by not giving me an idea of what he charged ahead of time. Especially since we spent some time looking at faucets on the internet and he went someplace and was gone for half an hour but included all of that in his labor rate. I would NEVER have hired him if I had any idea he charged that kind of rate.

I have a Service Contract with HomeServe for my outside plumbing items. The company had Raymond Plumbing do the work. I needed an indoor shutoff valve replaced, but first the outside shutoff valve had to be located. Raymond Plumbing coordinated with Omaha MUD to mark the location. Then Raymond installed the necessary items so the outside valve could be easily located in the future.
My wife was VERY happy with the workers and the work they did.
I would HIGHLY recommend Raymond Plumbing.

First hired 402 Plumbing Services for a clogged bathroom sink. Called at 3, job was done by 4:30. It was Friday before Easter weekend so we were pretty nervous about being able to get it done in time for the holiday. Thankfully the response time was pretty much immediate. Have since hired 402 to install a new kitchen faucet as ours was old and just needed an update. Great work, reasonable prices! Thank you 402! Highly recommended!

Pros and cons to my experience with American Rooter:
Pros:
1. The person I spoke with on the phone (Sarah, I believe) and the technician, Dan, were both very personable.
2. They send you a picture of the technician before he comes to your house so that you know who to expect.
3. Dan told me up front what the cost would be to run a camera through my line and to replace my toilet. So, I knew before he started the work just how much the job would cost. The fact that I had them proceed was on me.
Cons:
1. This company is WAY overpriced. I learned this after the fact. To run the camera through the line cost me $230 (plus $30 to “locate the sewer line”). I have learned from multiple companies since then that they charge $125 for this service.
2. To install a new toilet cost $780, including the toilet. I was told that their cost for the toilet itself is about $300. That still leaves $480 in labor to pull the old toilet, replace the seal and install the new toilet – about a one-hour job.
3. Dan had to return three times (3 different days) as there was water coming out from under the bowl. It took that many trips to determine that the new bowl that had been installed was cracked. (There appeared to be a condensation issue as well with this bowl. It was not an issue I had with my previous toilet.)
4. Dan gave me an estimate to replace my 50-gallon water heater. The estimate was $1900. I just had it replaced by another company. They installed a commercial-grade A.O. Smith 50-gallon water heater for $1150. I could have had a standard A.O. Smith water heater installed by Lowe’s for just shy of $1000.
