My wife and I are new homeowners who just had a plumbing disaster in our basement just 3 months after moving into our new home, and 2 weeks after our first child was born. Our main drain overflowed!

Robert Pond arrived promptly WITHIN the hour, he made us feel safe, reassured us we would be taken care of, was informative, explained the company process, and provided an accurate ETA of the individual who would be fixing our basement drain. Before he left for the day, he helped us initiate the process of filing our claim with insurance and articulated the areas affected by the water damage. We are so green that we didn’t know what to do! Thankfully, Robert held our hand through the process and provided us a peace of mind we desperately needed.

Our tech Lucas arrived within the ETA Robert provided and informed us of the process needed to fix the drain. He got to work immediately and fixed our issue within a couple of hours. He informed us of another individual who would be inspecting the drain and locating the source of the failure/overflow.

Terry Reeh showed up not long after Lucas finished snaking the main drain. Terry showed us a video image of roughly 3ft worth of roots that had grown through the piping. He tracked the issue down promptly and gave us his card and a quote. He also provided information on financing which will be much needed since insurance doesn’t cover these types of repairs.

All-in-all, Roto-Rooter is a company my new family and I plan to use for many years to come. The level of service is something I myself, who has worked in customer service for over 10 years, have never seen. Each member of this team was informative and valuable. Initially I gave a good review because I was happy because they got out to us so quickly, but they kept ramping up what services I needed and I felt pressured to say yes without checking out other companies or realizing the expenses. After hydro jetting, they said we would need excavation so we finally called someone else and I found out a competitor charges half as much for the hydro jetting. I’m honestly not sure what to think of them now.

Our Service Technicians were absolutely wonderful! They were courteous and very knowledgeable!
However, the system used to book a service is absolutely HORRENDOUS!
When given a window of service time, they either text you or call you or both (which is great!) BUT, you ONLY have 3-5 minutes to respond.
In our circumstance, their calls did not ring, but instead went right to voicemail.
When texted from the dispatch, I responded immediately. Their dispatch said I did not because they did not receive it.
When asked to call back, you call the main number, wait in hold, then they transfer you to dispatch , where you wait on hold AGAIN, for at least 10 minutes! This will NEVER get you in to be able to respond in 3-5 minutes! When you don’t respond, they reassign the technician to another call. This happened to us 3 times!
We waited for 20 hours for someone to show up to help with clogged sewer drain.
If they changed the way you could book an appt, then I would recommend them, otherwise save time and hassle and book someone LOCAL!

The 2 men that came to our house were very nice and professional. They cleaned our drains quickly and did a great job. The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is because the office told me they could have someone out in 1 hour, but it took 5 hours for someone to arrive.

We reached out and scheduled an appointment window of 4:30 to 6 as we do not get off work until 430. We were told we would get a text and would have THREE minutes to respond or they would not come. When we got off work at 430 we found they had text around 4pm. So we called and they advised us the tech was sent to another call and they were not sure if they could get anyone to us now. When we mentioned that they text during a time we specifically told them we would still be at work as well as approx 30 minutes before the window even opened it was as if they could care less. So can't say how the services are as we will be looking elsewhere.

The technician was awesome! Very professional and he did a great job. We will call you for all future repairs and recommend the same technician.

Although they advertise 24/7. After 5 is on-call staff only. They are overbooked and under manned according to their scheduling people. Even when you schedule and they cancel your appointment guaranteeing the next day. They will cancel on you again.

Did fine with the plumping part but was not happy the concrete work they did I’ve had people my neighbors comment on it I was sort of embarrassed what they had to say I had to go out and clean up the mess outside that they made they said they come back the next day and did not so I had to go out and scrape all the loose cement that was on my driveway tried washing

The folks at roter-rooter are phenomenal! A very nice lady came by to inspect the bathroom and diagnose the problem. She determined it was an emergency as there was sewage backing up in our shower drain. She also gave us advice on how to ensure that our drains were kept clear. Within an hour two professional gentleman by the names of Brandon and Jared showed up. They took care of the issue in a very timely manner. I appreciated their professionalism and speedy service. I also got a $75 coupon that I used toward purchasing a gallon of their drain degreaser! This was the worst plumbing issue I’ve ever seen! They are available 24/7, 356 days per year even on holidays!

Service was excellent! Price increases were ridiculous. I will not be using Roto-Rooter again.

I will never use this company again. They lied and said a camera wouldn't fit down my drain and did not fix my problem yet still charged me $400. Called them back they lied again and said someone would come out with a camera and run it through my drain but they never did.

Paul and Wes, the supervisor and technician, were very professional. I received a call from the company saying they could come earlier than expected. They got to the job an hour early. Quickly diagnosed the issue, gave me their quote and got to work. Double checked that the clog had been totally cleared. They were personable and stayed masked at all times.

Rotor Rooter was called because the company called in previously did not do a thorough job.

I had a major backup of sludge overflowing my basement’s drain and Roto-Rooter was on TOP of it within the hour that I called them. I couldn’t be more pleased with the professionalism and team that was brought over to my house. A technician was there to fix the issue along with a water damage specialist and plumbing inspector to check things out for me as well. They were all super knowledgeable and left me feeling great about the repairs they completed at my home. I will definitely be referring them to everyone I know!

Had a line get a glog which then backed up into our basement where the flooding occurred in a closet and wasn’t noticed until 7:30 at night. Called to schedule someone out as soon as possible. Wes showed up at 9am the next morning and had our line cleared within the hour and the water drained out no problem. He was thorough in explaining what had happened and how to prevent it from happening again. We then also spoke with Shana (who also came out the night before even though the technician they had initially scheduled to be out by 2am had some vehicle trouble) about the mitigation that RotoRooter also handles. Shana helped us get in contact with our homeowners insurance and made sure to stick around so we could get our claim started. Overall a wonderful experience. Mitigation is in process now and our reconstruction will start within the week.

My main sewer line was backing up, I called and they had a technician out within 2 hours. Francisco did a thorough job clearing the tree roots from my line, and was very helpful and friendly. I unfortunately forgot the name of the camera technician that looked at my line, but he also was very helpful and friendly.

Scheduling a service was very easy and everyone that came out was very helpful and nice. Wes the technician was great! He explained everything clearly and was very friendly.

Don't know why I even bothered with this company. Told me they would be at my house between noon and 4 on Monday, they never showed and told me they would come by between 8 and 10 the next morning. It's already 1pm and they still haven't showed. Called, and all they did was told me the tech would call me at some point. I'm so angry. If you aren't available, then don't say you have availability.

Missed there appointment time, called and said they would be later (1-2 hours). No call or update, took upon myself to check in and then disappointed when they said they weren’t coming at all.

Called to complain and with little to no care,,,, what sucks is that I canceled a major event with my wife only to miss and be lied to. I hope that this doesn’t happen to the next customer.

The tech was helpful. Knowledgeable very kind and personable. He was able to diagnose the valve is due quickly, get the part needed and repaired and recommend additional services to improve maintenance of the water heater.

Paul and Wes came out today to unclog our kitchen sink drain. They were punctual and very friendly. While working they were very informative when telling us what caused the problem/how it can be fixed. While here, they followed all safety measures to help ensure everyone was as safe as possible.

Quick appointment and responsive technician

They broke my drain stop in my tub, did not replace the tank cover to my toilet, said they replaced the wax ring and did not, did not properly secure my toilet, and lied about the “obstruction” in the line. Services were not rendered. I had to have an independent contractor come out 2 days later to fix the problem at a 1/4 of the cost

Our main drain was clogged in our basement. They showed up fast on a Sunday and made quick work of our problem. Nice guys too!

We had Paul from Roto-Rooter fix a few leaking valves that were in our basement. He was right on time and very friendly. He also noticed that the last person to do work on our house had installed the pressure regulator incorrectly and explained that it was the reason our pipes sometimes made loud screeching noises and had low water pressure. An hour or so later, all was fixed and we have more water pressure than I knew was possible from our shower and faucets. Paul was very good at showing me the completed work, and explained what everything he worked on did. If the other Roto-Rooter employees are even half as competent as Paul, I would still highly recommend them. 10 out of 10.

Seth, Lucas and Nick all did a great job replacing an outdated tub drainage pipe and cleaning out the line of debris. I was very pleased with their speed as well as their willingness to explain the work they were going to do. The service deserved 5 stars.

My only complaint had to do with some communication issues from the dispatch/management office. Each of their phone calls would go straight to voicemail (one dispatcher told me they were working through new phone system issues). Also, on the day we had a tech scheduled to come out the first time, he did not show up when we expected and we had to call the dispatch office a couple of times to find out what was going on... only to find out that we would have to wait another day for service because another job had taken longer than expected. I understand that these types of issues pop up but I do wish the dispatch office had been more proactive about what was happening.

My phonecall was taken immediately and I scheduled a plumber who arrived promptly in the time listed. Zach expeditiously diagnosed the issue, identified the faulty parts, and installed my shower valve with quality expertise. Any one who has written a review with more than one star must not have had an emergency or their emergency was before 4 pm. Will never use this service again

Overflow floor drain in basement on thanksgiving morning and hosting the whole family in afternoon… Jared came to the rescue within 2 hours of calling, the flooded basement was drained and water was back running in the house within an hour!

These guys were awesome. Very professional. We just needed our water heater replaced, but they walked our property with us and wanted to know if there was anything else they could help us with that was in their wheelhouse. Afterwards they laid out all the options and we chose what worked best for us financially and as homeowners. The actual work done was great. Our water heater is flawless and has really made a difference. The other work they did was well done too. There was a small mishap during installation where our screen door was broken, but they were super professional about it and are replacing it for us at their cost. They have actually been more helpful than the place we have been going through to replace the window. These guys are why you do business with a local company.

Very helpful and came out quickly in the evening which was nice. Figured out the problem fast and resolved it with no surprises. The only knock is they are a bit expensive with a flat rate. 6 month warranty helps but it was a little high to unclog a drain. But maybe that's the trade off for a night call? Outside of being a little costly, i have no complaints and would at least suggest them to others.

The Bellevue Nebraska office they have a man name Gareth robinson that works there. He is unstable he threatened young teens to shoot them and Gareth robinson even posted a video online about shooting these kids and one of the boys is special needs. Then on July 2st 2023 he got arrested for a Protection order violation. Gareth robinson has a Protection order on him in Douglas County Omaha Nebraska . Because he is very violence. And this is your plumber Rotor rooter plumbing in Bellevue Nebraska. That comes in your homes with your families. Be warned ⚠️ and call them to refused this unstable man going around your families.
