I needed to have my air conditioning unit moved so that I could have a concrete pad poured in the area that it is located. Jake came out and disconnected it and moved it where it would be out of the way of the concrete crew. It was a cold, blistery morning when he was at my home so it couldn't have been pleasant for him but every time that I would check to see if I could help or if he was ok, he would assure me that everything was going well and I never seen him without a big smile on his face. Upon completion of the concrete work and curing time, another very nice young man by the name of Scott came out to put the unit back in place and got it all hooked up for me. I've used Aksarben for my furnace and air conditioning and would recommend them to anyone who is looking for prompt, complete, professional work by a crew that is polite, considerate and competent which seems to be harder and harder to find.

If you have to use them I wouldn’t recommend anytime on the weekend or emergencies. I called yesterday for a water leak from my main shut off valve. Water was coming out pretty good. After hours service told me someone would come out for a quote. I verified that they would fix it that day “oh yes they will give you a quote and you can decide if they fix it that day” verified they would be out that same day..... well needless to say thank god I called someone else and got it fixed 24 hours later I finally heard from them to have someone come out and look at it. So if it’s an emergency I would call anyone but Aksarben.

Justin Fuller performed the service. He is very competent, very knowledgeable and very personable. The experience is rated at a 5*.

Philip from Aksarben ARS did an absolutely fantastic job fixing our air conditioner!We tried to turn our air conditioner on prior to an upcoming hot day and it worked for a couple of minutes and stopped. Philip came on time to find the problem. He checked everything out and went up and down stairs many times, making sure things were right. Eventually, the problem was found and fixed. I highly recommend Philip from Aksarban ARS to fix any problem you may have with your air conditioning problems! Thank you Philip, the air conditioner works perfectly now.

Mike helped us diagnose a heating problem in our new home when we suddenly lost heat and the weather got cold. Not only did he solve the problem but he also put in the extra effort to educate me about how my major systems work. His recommendations were very helpful as I plan investing in improving my home.

In the initial visit Eric came and was not qualified to do what I'd requested so I had to wait 3 days for a licensed plumber. Brian came out and complained about the mess Eric had left. Brian did not give me a straight answer if he could complete the job. When I asked to stop beating around the Bush and tell me yes or no, he wouldn't. I said it seems that you don't want to do it. He finally confessed and left extremely quickly. Mind you he left my drain under my sink open and did not reattach the p trap. EXTREMELY unprofessional.

We had an amazing experience. Michael was very thorough and explained what was wrong, why it occurred, and how it could be fixed. We will be returning for all our future HVAC and plumbing needs.

Phillip did a great job of finding the problem. While this having to be the 2nd time in 50 days a call was needed, Phillip made sure I was taken care of and the problem with the AC didn't continue. Next appointment I have I will request him as my tech.

We have had Aksarben ARS plumbing out a few times as we are selling our house and they have done an amazing job! We had tried a few other places over the years, but once we had Aksarben out, it was clear we didn't need to try another. Tim and Anthony were very diligent while installing my new HVAC system. Yet they were still friendly enough to answer any questions I had for them. I have been a customer of Aksarben since they installed a new furnace and air conditioner several years ago. They have ALWAYS been very professional and willing to explain details to me. The technician that came out today was very helpful. He suggested an ultraviolet install which I definitely plan to get as soon as possible. I never knew this feature existed! As I'm getting older, it is so important to me that I do whatever I can to preserve my health. This ultraviolet light that would eliminate mold and mildew in my vents would be AMAZING! With my service plan, it makes it cost a little less too. I definitely recommend Aksarben to all my friends when they ask. I'm so grateful that these services are available from such great people. Thomas the technician was outstanding. Very professional, very thorough. Had a hard time scheduling maintenance covered under service program. Set appointment 2 months in advance then the week of service I am asked to reschedule for a month later. Got it done though so appreciate that.

Northstar M was the most thorough HVAC Tech we have ever had work on our system. He was very professional and was great at explaining the details of what the specs of our system was.He was very courteous and took his time to ensure the maintenance on our unit was just right. We ask for him by name to have any maintenance done on our furnace or AC unit.

This review is for fry technician who visited my home, not Aksarben ARS. Matthew was an excellent tech. He went out of his way to help me troubleshoot some hot/cold spots in a 103 year old home. He has retained me as a customer, purely by himself.

Crew was early, had a positive attitude, and got right down to business. At the end of the day, the crew maintained a good attitude and were through with the walk thru of my new Furnace and AC.......Heating maintenance guy was thorough courteous. We had a great experience with Aksarben for a plumbing issue. We had a horrible septic backup and we had to remove a toilet to get it fixed. We discovered the pipe work was very old and we were unable to install a new toilet ourselves. Aksarben came out after everything was cleaned up and was able to install a new toilet. The work was great, the customer service was great, and the price was very reasonable for the quality of work. We will definitely use Aksarben again.

Jeremy C. did an excellent job on the Winter tune up. He's very easy to talk to, very professional. I asked about my current filter and told me the filter the filter have now is good, but there is another filter to consider. I told him I would think it over. I want to have him come back for the Spring tune up also.He is a very nice person. And a real asset to Aksarben/ARS.

Our technician, Brian, was not only professional but also extremely helpful as he explained the various components of the service and work recommended. He answered all my questions and he sent me the pictures he took of the components replaced and the ones to watch between now and our next scheduled maintenance. Same day service which was great. No floor protection and slightly damaged stair tread trim moving equipment which was not great.

The service tech Brian was personable and explained all details of the routine service and also the replacement of a whole house humidifier.

Sam came out to help get our kitchen sink unclogged. They gave me a courtesy call about 20 minutes before he arrived. He got here, figured out the issue, and quickly got to work! It didn’t take him long to fix the clog. He was very nice, professional, and courteous. He wore his mask the whole time and shoe covers to prevent tracking in snow and mud. I am so very appreciative! The kitchen is a very important part of our house and that includes the sink! Thank you thank you so much! Will definitely be calling them again in the future if needed. :D

I ordered the $99 mainline drain special w/complimentary camera inspection, which is advertised on TV and online. My spouse and I ordered this for our first home we just purchased, as other friends of mine recommended this type of service as new home owners. Nothing was wrong with our plumbing, this was a preventative measure to inspect the mainline for any issues. Technicians show up, before they even evaluated anything, they said it was actually going to be $299 + $55 service fee. They couldn't even legitimately explain why they advertised it as a $99 special. I refused service, as this is a deceptive and illegal business practice. They charged me a $55 service fee just for showing up, even though no service was completed at all, then threatened it would go to collections if I didn't pay the service fee!! Called them back after they left and said it should have been $99, and that sometime next week their manager would call me back. Extremely unprofessional and deceptive, I didn't expect this experience at all, very unhappy with this company. I am considering escalating this to the BBB and local/state consumer protection agencies.

Scheduling, and Upsales were the only issues with this appointment. Made appointment months ago, and was called the day of to move out another month or two.

I have a service contract with AKSARBEN. Was told I needed to replace my furnace and a it presented a safety hazard. Requested a 3 year history of my account inspections in order to file for a Home Owners policy. I've been delayed (4) times and have not received copies of the the inspections performed. It's been over a month now.

Technician was good at explaining our options. He took the time to check to see if we were still under warranty. Very pleased with his professionalism.

I have used their services for HVAC, and Plumbing. Both experiences were great in the sense that the issue was not only fixed, but education on preventative maintenance. I was not pressured into an up sell in either situation.

They installed my water heater. When I decided to sell my house, I found out that they pulled a permit with the city to install the water heater but never closed it out.I've been calling them for the last 3 weeks asking for someone to contact me so we can get the permit closed out and I can move ahead with selling the house. I get a lot of excuses but no calls back or help fixing this. It's frustrating as they were paid to do a job they won't complete. Their stonewalling makes me concerned about the quality of the job they did and it meets the city's code. I don't recommend using them.

I am having carpet installed and the temperature needed to be higher than I normally keep it. The second day I increased the heat the furnace kicked an error. I called Aksarben and explained my situation and they had a tech there within an hour to diagnose and address my issue. Everyone I dealt with was responsive, understanding, courteous and professional. I have had a service contract with Aksarben for many years and plan never to switch to anyone else. They do a GREAT job.

Phillip and Brad were extremely professional during their visit. They were apologetic for having to come out the day after our ac had just been checked, even though they weren’t the ones to originally service it. I felt like their reexamination was thorough and trustworthy. Thank you for making things better.

My parents signed up for a technician to come do a tune up for their system. At the time of the service call, my aunt and disabled elderly grandmother were the only people home. The technician did not ring the bell or knock, he just walked right into my parents house. Which of course scared my aunt and grandmother because a strange man just broke into the house. He then proceeded to try to upsell my aunt for things that the system didn’t need after literally breaking into my parents house. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Only go with this company if you want them to try to upsell you unnecessary things and also BREAK INTO YOUR HOME and NOT APOLOGIZE FOR IT.

Highly disappointed in Askarben ARS, and will never work with them again. I called at 8 am, and was told that I was placed on their appointment logs for the same day and to expect a call between 9 am - 3 pm when someone was on the way. No one called, at 3 pm I called back and checked on the status as to when someone would be out. They had no record of my call, when I asked if someone would come out they had to ask for manager approval to send someone out. They never got manager approval after waiting for over an hour. I would highly recommend Omaha Drain as they were able to have someone to my house within a few hours after my call even though it was so late in the day.

Northstar was very friendly and professional during my furnace service. He was efficient, yet took the time to describe everything that he was doing. His customer service was excellent; I wish I could request him again for my next service experience!

William gave me all my options on repair, was very honest about the good and the bad, and made sure I had all questions answered not only about the current problem but about all my hvac questions before leaving. When I asked about a service he didn’t provide he gave me the number of a recommendation for someone who does. Highly recommend him for your hvac needs!

We had to call a plumber out at 10:30 at night due to a back up issue in our piping, he was very friendly and helpful. He gave us information on the service plan Aksarben offers to help save us money on the emergency call we had to make. Had the job done within the hour and made sure all was good and working before he was finished!

Way too expensive service. Total 45 minute repair, $ 322.00 after 15 % discount and plus $ 49.00 service fee. They charged me total $ 371.00 for to replace 2 pieces 3 inch ABS pipe elbow and 3 pieces 3 inch X 4 or 5 inch ABS pipes. Total rip off !!!!!!! I won't recommend this company to no one

Living in an older neighborhood with a lot of trees and after one sewer back up experience about a year ago, we knew that our sewer line was not in good condition. When another, smaller, problem arose recently, we called Aksarben to see if they could help us out. They certainly could, but also offered to take care of our sewer line at the same time to minimize just how many times our yard would get torn up for plumbing. The estimate process was fair and the work began quickly. Despite facing a couple of challenges during the work making things a little more difficult than initially anticipated, the bid price was honored. Damien and Eric's team made a stressful situation much less stressful and handled everything with professionalism and kindness. They were knowledgeable, helpful, and I truly believe treated us the way they would want to be treated. As a bonus, they were great with our dogs and with our toddler who had a blast watching all the work being done! We highly recommend their team.

Brian Rhodes, the Service Technician, was very efficient in taking care of the problem of our AC unit. He also explained everything he did very well and went over information that was not told to us on the day of the install in January. We will definitely be requesting him for our future services.

Every time we've needed a service Aksarben has done a great job of explaining what is being done, the following steps, and what choices we have, very professional employees.

Waiting for 12 hours for sbd come to the house to check cause our ac doesn't work. And the temp at the house is almost 90. Call at the midnight and I can understand there are not enough people but till lunch on the next day and still nobody come??. Yeah 24/7 service....

Called last week to make an appointment. Come the day of - no one showed up. I called, only to discover they did not make the appointment. From what I gathered an employee made a mistake because these people aren’t taking the time to train properly. I pleaded that since the error was made in house that perhaps they would want to correct it by sending someone. But she could not have cared less about my situation and was extremely rude. Perhaps they have a great service to offer but they need to highly reconsider the front desk staff so customers can experience that. We will not ever be returning to this business again.

Was giving my 4 year old a bath, and tried to turn off the water...no go, water kept running. After running and turning off the water to the house, I called Aksarben ARS. Spoke to the operator after hours who ensured me a call. Within 10 minutes, I got a call from Derek.Derek was in the middle of a job and told me it would be a while, no big deal as my fear of flooding my house was gone at this point. Derek shows up and diagnosis and fixes the problem within 15 minutes.Derek talked and educated me on how to fix this in the future and was extremely polite even after being out all day.Thank you Derek!

Phillip Evans was awesome! He came in and fixed the pipe and provided me with lots of information about plumbing in the house. After talking to him, I actually signed up for the home maintenance program with Aksarben/ARS! I never expected to do that.Follow up: After visiting with Phillip, we decided we should buy a new water heater. We called up Aksarben/ARS and got it done. Phillip was the man who came out and put it in. He was efficient, knowledgeable and professional. Even though he was by himself to get the job done (including moving out the old one), I knew I could trust him to get the job done well. He did. His follow up is excellent and he goes the extra mile to make sure everything is perfect.

The pilot light on our water heater kept going out and water was leaking down the vent. I caulked around the vent on the roof thinking rain water was coming in that way but didn't get the water drained out of the vent. So the plumber comes and says the water is because of condensation, the vent must have a bird nest in it and that we need to call the hvac guys out. The hvac guy comes out drains the water out of the vent then goes to the roof and says my caulking was good so it should be fixed.Well it ended up it was still leaking water and the pilot light still going out. So I look into it more and turns out the pressure relief valve on the water heater was stuck shut. I replaced the valve and that fixed all the problems.I don't blame the hvac guy for not fixing it because it seemed good and he didn't charge us but the plumber should've made sure everything was working on the water heater instead the plumber takes one look at it and says we have to call the hvac side of the company. He did charge 49 dollars to tell us he could not do anything. I expected a lot more from Aksarben

We've had the yr round service for 3 yrs now. They call us to schedule cleanings and the technicians are some of the nicest people. Phill was our technician today. He was great and I think he has solved our over heating situation. The technicians are always good listeners. They try their hardest to get to the root of our issues and really want what's best for you. Marion #316 did an OUTSTANDING job addressing our issue with a clogged and overflowing sink along with replacing a pipe that had a hole!! He did so quickly, professionally, was very personable, was nice to speak with, and the cost for the fix was extremely reasonable!! Definitely a WIN in all areas!!I would also like to add that Teresa in customer service (contacted requesting the service), did an awesome job getting us scheduled, explaining the home service plan they offer, offering us standby in case there was a cancellation (which there was), and ultimately getting us signed up for the program which ended up saving us quite a bit. We purchased two air conditioners back in May 2018 to replace our old units. Aksarben ARS came out promptly and installed the new air conditioners just before it got hot. We went with Aksarben because they had a fair price, they could install the units promptly, had a good warranty, and a good reputation. This March I relied on their good reputation when I discovered that the humidifiers were not working. There was a wiring problem and even though the units were technically out of warranty, they stood behind their work and reimbursed us for the cost of rewiring. I am very pleased with their warranty. It is rare to find a company that will do that now days.Steve

117 dollars to come out and tell us we're best off just replacing the hvac when it was just a little bit low on coolant, the tech spent most of his time on the phone and writing up notes. Told us 1700 to recharge the coolant. I know the system is old and replacing it would fix it but on a hot summer Saturday I would have preferred to just charge it like the next company did in less than 30 minutes for about the same price ARS charged to do absolutely nothing. I would not recommend these guys for repairs or diagnostics.

Aksarben ARS called to let us know that our tech would be arriving 20 minutes ahead of time so that we would be ready. Phil arrived on time, greeted us and asked to immediately check on the condition of the thermostat. He then politely asked us as to how to get to the HVAC system and we showed him to the basement. Before proceeding through our home, Phil was sure to put on shoe covers. After removing the system cover and inspecting the coils, inspecting the air filter, and finding water in the furnace, he drilled a few holes in the ventilation to check the temperature difference between the intake registers and output of the system. Phil was very accommodating to me and let me know what he was doing when I asked and why it was significant to be checked. Outside, he inspected our A/C and found that it was missing the end caps that had been removed by the previous HVAC inspector of a different company. He replaced them immediately and made me aware of their importance. Phil wiped up the water inside of the furnace and replaced all covers removed and resealed all holes made. He checked the hose for drain on the furnace and advised me to make sure that it was secured down in order to ensure the flow out from the furnace. Phil gave me several suggestions as to the potential cause of our issue, but due to changes that had been made to our system for safety code, he advised that we start by replacing our filter with a MERV 5, which by the way, has made all the difference. This was the ideal solution since an alternative was changing registers to our ductwork, which Phil knew I wanted to avoid. Phil suggested we start with small adjustments before making big ones. In order to explore this option, Phil contacted his supervisor about taking pictures of the system so that an assessment could be made should I want to proceed with this option, but there was no obligation. Phil suggested that I try the new filter for now and if the A/C still caused us problems to give them a call again. In total, Phil was working on diagnosing and cleaning up for about an hour and a half. I felt that Phil was polite, thorough, and communicative. He provided me with a detailed invoice and charged me the service charge that Aksarben ARS said he would charge. Thank you so much, Phil and Aksarben ARS. We’ll be calling you next time!

Ben was incredibly professional, and did great work with almost no point of reference for the horrible wiring in our HVAC power unit. My house is back to being cool and useless wires have been removed to prevent further confusion in the future. The work was broken down at a level I could understand as he educated me through the steps he was taking to complete the repair. 5-stars and would gladly call again.

My father and I have been working with our furnace and AC unit for months to get it working properly, and we couldn't keep the condensation drains from flooding the ceiling. We set up an appointment with Aksarban through Home Depot to do an full inspection.Corey helped us and was very professional/determined to see a job well-done. The parts of our AC system were in inconvenient spots, and he was well-prepared to address this and get our system checked out up to speed where possible.

Total Scam Company. Zero Stars. My wife Called them for $79 cleaning special on furnace and furnace running about 85% a couple degrees cooler than it should. Put on BIG SALES Pitch and would not leave our home (my wife works remotely and had a meeting) until he scheduled an Emergency Sales Call for someone to come out and give us an estimate Monday for a whole new system. Tech refused to give any estimates on repairs or suggested repairs. I don’t do business this way and will turn this company into BBB. Avoid. Signing back up my Service One Contract. A1 United does business this way as well.

Quoted me for ac unit estimate around 17000 and to hold my ac there was talk of freon @250 a pound,while getting quote from a competitor 150 a pound and I only needed one lb., there telling me 1000 dollars for freon the services are way over quotes from competitors. Also the inspection was a joke never opened up or tested airflow ad told it would be 700 to replace part,, again looked at by competitor and was told it would be 10 dollars to replace gasket.Taking my business elsewhere and getting work done. I know it may not matter but I am a veteran and your going to bend me over so that you can make an extra buck Thank you Platinum Heating and Cooling for gasket. My experience with Aksarben ARS was excellent from beginning to end. Vicki called and offered me an earlier appointment. On the day of my appointment she called and let me know that the rain was causing a slight delay. Phil was the very knowledgeable and professional tech who diagnosed the problem with my ac unit. Brian was the very knowledgeable and professional salesman who presented me with suitable finance and replacement options. Charged $45 to come to the house for a leaky kitchen faucet. Once here, the repairman stated it would be $247 to fix the leak. It needed a rubber seat and spring (similar to rubber washers) and was easy to access. Felt very much like a bait and switch.

Michael P. Came out on a Sunday to get my furnace going, he was very patient and determined to find the problem, which he did. He also explained other things to me that I didn't know about keeping my furnace and air conditioner in the best condition. Thank you Michael P. You are a real professional!

Had Mike B. over for an estimate on an entire system install at my home. I was working so my fiance handled the situation but I overheard the entire pitch. Instead of helping us in our time of need it felt like being at a car lot with alot of smoke and mirrors. We only mentioned a family friend who owns a legit business and he used a scare tactic of mentioning permits and follow up inspections by their pre-permits they pull. That was irritating, we went with Burton Heating and Air, will continue to in the future and will be getting our references. I suggest everyone give them a call too!

Matt was very prompt. He checked our air conditioner repaired our humidifier cleaned our outside unit and suggested a lubricate to promote the life of our newer unit. Matt offered us a regular maintenance plan and suggestions on the best ways to get the most from our air conditioner and furnace. We were very pleased with his work and taking time to help us.

My AC stopped working and Aksarben heating and air came to my home the day after I called them. After looking at my unit, the worker found 2 parts that would need replaced. The tech gave me the option for him to replace the parts or have another rep from the company come out to discuss an installation of an entire new AC unit. The rep said that he could replace the 2 parts but that wouldn’t guarantee the unit would work. I felt he was trying to get me to spend even more money by buying a new unit rather than fix the one we have. He made up other “potential problems” like how we could have a freon leak or our compressor wouldn’t work. We opted to fix just the 2 parts. They did the work and my AC now works. However, I found out later from a reputable company that I was charged double what normal price should be for the job. Also, my compressor and Freon levels are just fine, so I feel like he was trying to take advantage of someone who wouldn’t know better. I also learned that Aksarben changes the names of the products/parts in order to confuse its clients and not allow them to look up the part online to see they are charging almost $400 for a part that costs $5. With paying double and feeling like the rep tries to talk you into spending more money than needed, I will never use this company again. After speaking with others about my experience, I have learned I’m not alone in Aksarben scamming people into paying way more money than was necessary.

Phillip Evans a plumber from Aksarben ARS came and figured out our plumbing problem. This plumbing leak problem has been an issue for the last 10 years. We have had several people come and try and fix the problem only to half fix it. Phillip found the problem and fixed it correctly and completely. Thank you Phillip!!! Phillip was fast, friendly and cleaned up after himself! We were worried we would have to wait until Tuesday to get the leak fixed due to it being a big job. Now we can use the kitchen sink and run the dishwasher! That is a must in our household! I really appreciate the work you did for us today!!! I will request Phillip by name if we ever have a plumbing problem again! Thanks again Phillip!

DO NOT CALL AKSARBEN TO REPAIR ANYTHING IN YOUR HOME!!! They have been giving me the run around for days now! My air was on and blowing but was not as cold as I would have liked. When their technician left the system would not come on at all! They sent an advisor out who told me I needed to spend $6000 on a new system! No one wants to address the fact it was on and running before they got there. Now I've been calling for days and they are only giving me the run around! They dont call you back when they say they will then when you finally call them back and speak to somebody they tell you that you need to talk to someone else and transfer you to voicemail to start all over! This is the worst service I've ever experienced! Not only did they make a small problem worse, they are not even professional enough to address it! SAVE YOURSELF A HEADACHE AND DO NOT CALL AKSARBEN! BE SURE TO TELL YOUR FRIENDS!

Received annual air conditioner check up through Aksarben ARS. The technician arrived within the appointment time and the office called me 30 minutes in advance. Derek M was professional, friendly and thorough. He was considerate - putting on booties to protect the carpet, disconnected the hose because it might freeze again, returned everything to the condition he found it when he arrived. Even friendly to my dog!

UPDATE: I received a quick response after this was posted. They've addressed the issue I was having regarding documents, which was great. There may have been some miscommunication internally. I've bumped up to 3 stars. Would have been an easy 4 if not for having to post this.The work I had done was the installation of a new A/C unit. Briefly, I'd rate the overall services as follows:Sales/Pre-Installation - 4 stars.Installation - 3 -4 stars.Post-installation responsiveness - 1 star.First, the sales person I worked with was great and I would probably give him 4 stars. He was helpful, knowledgeable, and responsive during pre-installation.The installers were also generally easy to work with, professional, and everything seemed to be OK with their install. I'd give them 3-4 stars. It'd would have been a solid 4 stars, but they left a portion of the old outdoor A/C unit. in the front lawn. The next day the came to pick this up, but only after I texted the the sales person as no one ever called back. It appears the installers also dented a portion of my furnace vent when installing a drainage PVC pipe for the condenser unit. I'd follow up to ask them to address this, but really can't get anyone to follow up with me now that the unit is installed. It almost feels like they'll do anything to get your install work, and then your an afterthought.This leads me to why I give them 2 stars. Selling and installing an A/C unit is easy enough, but in my view where what is critical with furnaces and A/C units is customer service and responsiveness if issues arise post-installation. I haven't had any issues with the A/C unit yet, but I've requested some warranty information regarding my A/C and it has been pulling teeth for anyone to call me back. Multiple calls, no one ever calls back.This is what baffles me, and leads me to have serious concerns about their responsiveness if an actual issue ever arises. I've simply requested a copy of the warranty registration for my records, and information regarding a home service plan that purchased with the installation. However, every time I've called I've been told a comfort advisor will follow up me on the questions, yet no one ever calls. Luckily, I had a cell number for my sales person, who has been generally responsive on my questions. However, that now has even stopped.I frankly don't like writing reviews at all, let alone bad reviews. But as I don't seem to be getting anywhere with a simple request of information regarding warranty registration, I thought I'd share my experience as this whole process can be a difficult and a headache for homeowners. Installation of a furnace and A/C is not cheap, and so you want a company you can trust and that is responsive and makes you comfortable with your purchase. It seems they'll jump through fire to install your new products, but after that you take a back seat to I don't know what...

As a residential property manager, I have worked with several local companies and many individual plumbers that didn’t leave much of an impression. I called Aksarben ARS - Plumbing for an estimate on replacing a leaking exterior hose bib with a galvanized supply line. They were unable to give me an estimate over the phone, but got me on the schedule for first thing the next morning. Tyler W arrived on time following the curtesy call, and was able to begin work immediately. He was working hard and efficiently, but it became apparent that the replacement was more complicated than either of us anticipated. We decided to schedule a follow up appointment and include 2 additional hose bib replacements. He arrived on time again, and reviewed the scope of work with me before getting started. A second plumber was scheduled to assist, but the bulk of the work was already complete by the time help arrived. I was impressed with Tyler W’s work ethic, communication, professionalism, and friendliness. I will use Aksarben ARS again to specifically work with Tyler W, and I highly recommend him to anyone seeking a plumber with integrity.

We had a great experience with Aksarben. Marcus and Derrick were awesome! Very professional and helpful. They explained everything they had done and made sure that all our questions were answered. The tech did a good job and was friendly. He was on time. I was happy with the work done. I was able to get next day service for an install. The reason I am leaving a lower review is that I asked for some kind of rough estimate of cost before I scheduled the appointment. The lady scheduling was nice, but said she could not. They charge a 49 dollar service fee. I was under the impression that that would come out of the estimate if I chose to have the work done. It does not. The estimate was more than double and close to triple my lowest I received. This included having done by the big box retailers we all know and other big name local competitors. I went ahead and had him do the work because I needed it done and he was already here, which I’m sure a lot of people do. I don’t think this was the tech’s doing. That said, I will not be having work done by this company again. I am glad I didn’t purchase the warranty they tried to sell ahead of time. If you can’t give a fair estimate before you come out, I’ve learned my lesson. I did appreciate the fast service. I guess if you’re desperate for it to be done quick.

They were very knowledgeable and helped troubleshoot a difficult issue with my furnace. They spent extra time and checked everything. Highly recommend!Recently, the employee did the best job ive ever seen cleaning out my AC unit. We have cotton woods and the AC cooling grill gets covered in that stuff. He took apart the unit, cleaned out the leaves, sprayed everything down, and wipped the outside of the unit. Looks brand new even though its 7 years old.

We had an appointment for a Friday afternoon, our A/C not working because of thermostat issue, weather was very hot. They called us the evening before, said they could send someone over shortly, at no extra cost! The problem was fixed quickly and about 16 hours sooner than expected. We were very happy!

The gentleman was good and he let us know are options and that was when I had to call the other air and heating company because my unit was under warranty.

Several months ago, we replaced our furnace and air conditioner. After several quotes and further research, we went with Aksarben.The installation went smoothly and we remain happy with the result.With that install, we were on a service contract, which included plumbing.I called yesterday about what appeared to be a grave plumbing problem. Anthony came this morning, looked at it and understood the severity, After looking at it more closely, though, he found that it was simple. He fixed it quickly and was on his way. I should mention, too, how friendly and easy to work with he was.

Thomas explained the problem thoroughly and was diligent about finding a solution. Got heat back up in a timely manner. Was very open and honest about cost before service was completed.

I called on Saturday night 930pm for service, our air conditioner had stopped working. The call service said someone would call me back and let me know when they would arrive. After three hours and no call I called back asking if I could get an ETA on when service would be provided so I could get some sleep without missing a call. The lady took a message and said someone would call shortly. No one called EVER they claim 24 hours service but never called not even the next day. I had to call someone else who responded and had my air fixed in less than 3 hours. I would not call Arksarben ever again. Basic customer service is a must.

I had a service contract with this company for our air conditioner and furnace. Part of the service agreement included emergency services. When my air conditioner quit working I called them up and they said it would be 4 days and that they don't work in the dark. It was 6 pm in the summer and there was at least 2 hours of daylight. They apparently don't work in emergency services and don't care if their service contract customers go without AC for 4 days in 90 degree weather. They did service our furnace. They put in the cheapest filter they could find and didn't tell us the furnace had issues. I would not recommend them if you like your AC working in the summer. I cancelled my service contract and never received a refund for the months I had paid for since they refused to honor it

The technician was thoughtful, thorough, and explained everything clearly. He was respectful to my home, shutting off lights, and covering his shoes.

Our sump pump on our new house was working nonstop. After hours of research we consulted with ARS and Brian came out and had a great chat with us. After consulting with neighbors and even more youtube research, we called and had a battery operated backup pump and sensor added.We know this is not a critical change- just not willing to run the risk of our newly finished basement being ruined by water. We now sleep peacefully knowing we have been diligent in our preparation.Brian was personable and friendly and very gracious!Love the call ahead notices and the great lady I get to chat with!If we need anything else done plumbing wise- we are calling our go-to guy again! Recently Dan Kelly (tech #313) came to my home to open a clogged drain. He was very polite and after I answered some questions about the usage in the home he went to work. When the problem was identified, Dan showed me it using the drain camera. We discussed the options, I made a decision, and he completed the work. When Dan left my home there was no mess left behind. The bill was a reflection of the estimate so no big surprises. I would request Dan if I ever need a drain specialist again.Had the annual plumbing inspection. Noah, tech #314 was polite friendly and helpful. Annual inspections save money as you are made aware of potential problems before things break and cause damage.12/2020This week Phil and Mitch came to do the annual inspection of the furnace. There were several issues that needed repair. After learning about each repair and the cost associated with each it was decided to at least get an estimate for a new furnace. The next morning David Ross came and was very patient in explaining all of the options and the related costs.The next day Mitch, Wayne, and Juan showed up promptly and began the demo and install of a new system. Always polite, efficient, and trustworthy they worked in tandem to get the job done. The new system was explained to me and the guys left thehouse with everything cleaned up like they found it.8/2021This week I had an annual a/c inspection. Dan was very methodical and checked everything. When I asked a question that he could not answer Dan referred me to the correct person. Dan was here on Saturday and on Monday afternoon the air return specialist came. Some adjustments were made and my questions answered. Great service.

We had them come out to service our heater before winter yesterday(our heater was not broke). After spending about an hour I was told that I have a laundry list of items that needed to be fixed ( totaling minimum $2k) or replaced completely (totalling over 7k).We decided to get a second opinion and had Fraiser come out today and take a look.I was told that some of the items that should have been cleaned yesterday were not... and that he didn't see anything that needed to be replaced or fixed at this point. He was able to clean up some of the things that had some corrosion and told us annual checks are a good idea from this point on, but that heaters should last Much longer than 9 years.So glad I got a second opinion instead of being ripped off.

I had a plumber (Mark) come out and clear blockages from a toilet drainpipe that had backed up into a shower. He cleared all the impacted lines and cleaned up the shower after. Also, he was a really nice guy and easy to work with.

We called to schedule a standard maintenance inspection and they were able to come first thing the next morning. The employee was prompt, professional, and did a great job.

The best and easiest decision that I've had to do as an adult! Every technician that I spoke to was professional, and walked me through everything they were doing. If I could give them 100 stars I would. In the midst of a very negative situation, Aksarben and crew were to the rescue. We had a large section of our sewer pipe collapse leaving us with nastiness, everywhere. It took a while to figure out what was really going on and walking beside them through this process, I can see why. What a challenging job they have. I just love when I have to call the plumber - said no one ever. I will tell you though - I honestly enjoyed talking to Marion Hardisty. He has worked there for many years with Damien, Eric, and their entire crew. These guys are TOP NOTCH DREAM TEAM MATERIAL. First water heater leaked and they couldn't come back till the next day install was at 8am and showed up late. Set new water heater on top of water now I have too worry about the rust on the new water heater. Not happy with service.Called on 4/14/21 and wanted to why we were not happy and Brian understands why and is working on fixing it.. My review went from a 2 star too know a 4 star.

Technicians did very good job unplugging toilet/shower drain. Tried to go onto roof to do the job but too steep for their safety. Pulled toilet and were able to snake pipe that way. Very good job and done very professionally !! Will use again IF necessary !!

I purchased a top of the line furnace and AC from aksarben a few months ago. I noticed a few places on the furnace that were not sealed completely and air was leaking. I called aksarben to schedule an appointment to have these sealed. Service was very fast. I had called around 9:30am and the technician was here a little after 1:00pm. He sealed all of the leaks and asked if there were any other questions. He explained how the 2 stage system worked and showed me test results to verify that the furnace was operating correctly. I was totally satisfied with the performance of the technician and felt much more comfortable about how the system works. The technician was very knowledgeable and friendly.

Jamie did a great job cleaning our tankless water heater. He did the install last year and was familiar with the house and heater. He also asked if anything else needed attention before he left. I appreciate his help!

Entered my appointment request on the website Saturday not expecting a call till Monday to schedule a time for them to send someone out - received a call within 15 minutes making my appointment for Monday and then another call after that saying they could send someone out that same day! Cameron was awesome to work with! Diagnosed our issue and got back to me promptly with the repair cost. Waiting to hear from the client care team regarding a new install job but I’m sure they’ll be just as fantastic

We had a plumbing issue at our home where a piece of metal broke off our tub stopper. We called Aksarben to come out to look. They stated that they would need to replace a section of pipes and another part because it was stuck in a certain area. They did no tests to make that assumption but we agreed thinking they knew what they were doing. They stated they would come back on a Friday and it would be fixed that evening. So they came back and cut a whole in our ceiling and replaced the pipes for a total of $2400. This did not fix the issue which confirmed the block was not where they stated. They then said they would come back another day to snake it. This was a huge red flag for me because if snaking it is the solution then why was that not tried in the first place? This would have also located the exact spot of the blockage. We decided to get a 2nd opinion. So we called out a different company. That plumber ran a snake first thing to try and locate the blockage. He figured out that the blockage was not even in the area they replaced and said that he felt they jumped to the most expensive option without even doing the basics. He then stated that the work should have cost $800 at the most. I even have a recording of the entire conversation. I took this information back to ARS hoping they would do the right thing. I spoke with a Michelle who after several emails back and forth said they planned on still charging us the full amount despite the fact that they performed unnecessary work and despite that another company had to come out and complete the work. I was shocked by this because I had always heard great things about Aksarben but I feel and have confirmed with a professional that we were taken advantage of because of our lack of knowledge on plumbing.EDIT: as of 7/24 the plumbing issue was fixed by another company and cost me a total of $284 which included a year warranty. This plumber also confirmed the work Aksarben performed was unnecessary.

Mike S. was wonderful. He was patient and he explained things to me so I understood how everything worked. He kept working so now my family has air conditioning. I don't doubt that when they do a job that they do a great job of it based on the other reviews, but I do not like their business model.I was having people come stay with me this last weekend and a few days before my drain got clogged and I had a leaky condensate hose that I wanted replaced. I was pretty specific about what I wanted when I made the call, yet when they showed up all they did was try to sell me stuff.They tried selling me a service plan ($300), a condensate pump($400+), and a new water ($1600) heater when I just wanted them to unclog my floor drain. The first guy came out and charged me $90 bucks just to tell me that he couldn't deal with the condensate hose until the drain guy came out (their plumbing and hvac services are separate). The drain guy came out to tell me that he couldn't unclog my drain without moving my water heater ($500) and then unclogging the drain would be $300. He charged me $40 to give me bad news. Spent $130 just to have 2 different people come out, not do what I asked, and just sell me stuff.Did some research, called some other plumbers....poured liquid plumr ($8) foam down the clogged drain, then an hour later some hot water, and now it works great. They could have used chemicals or a mechanical auger, but they didn't try any of that. Maybe it's against company policy. Maybe it would have ruined their other sales pitches to me, but I didn't like it very much.Plan on getting pvc pipe or new condensate house from Lowes and doing it myself.I really don't like their business model. Will use Service One next time. I've heard lots of good things from friends and family.TLDR: Made the mistake of calling Aksarben because I felt rushed, they did very little to help, charged a lot for doing nothing, and seemed only willing to help if I wanted the most expensive solution.Based on their reviews, it seems like if you're a committed customer and do the service plan then it's worthwhile, but otherwise they won't help. It even seems like they try to charge you into oblivion if you're not a preferred customer but if you go for that service plan then they show you some mercy.

The installation crew did a great job installing our new ac and furnace. They walked us through installing the new thermostat app on my phone and made sure all was working properly before they headed home. I would highly recommend Aksarben for any work at your home. Also, Dave Rutledge our comfort Advisor, did a great job getting us scheduled two days earlier than planned for installation.

Aksarben ARS installed the a/c in my home four or so years ago. It recently busted due to a leak with the refrigerant. I have called Aksarben ARS every day this week (4 separate calls) attempting to collect information about the warranty for this unit. They have failed to respond each and every time. I was promised multiple times that I would receive a call back but I never did. I would NOT recommend this company as they install poor quality units and are not responsive at all. Sandhills Heating and Air Conditioning came out for me instead and they have been so professional and timely. I would recommend them instead.

The repairman was nice but once they know how old your unit is they seem to paint a picture of doom as far as making repairs which i know at some point it makes sense not to do. However if the part you need is cheap why not try that first. Of course if you are charged $333 for a $5 part which takes 2min. to install plus an 89 service charge It can get expensive but not as much as 7,000 for a new system. and funny thing it worked! For this reason i won't use this company again..

Jeff arrived on time and went to area to service leaking valve. Repair was done and he explained everything that was done. Just had to tighten valve. Also checked outside faucet for any problems.

Michael was professional (wore gloves and mask amidst Covid-19) and talked me through everything he was looking at and seeing inside of the my 30 year old furnace. While he said getting a new furnace is the best route to go for my money, he still wrote me up a quote for repairs if I do decide to go that route. Thanks for the quick and educational service!

We had to have a water heater replaced today in a very unexpected manner. From the initial phone call this morning at 8AM to the completed job this afternoon, we were pleased to be treated to professional and courteous service.The young lady on the phone this morning worked hard to squeeze us in for a check into our system, and when Tom arrived promptly at 9:30AM, he confirmed what I knew to be true, that our 25 year old water heater was in desperate need of replacement. I had already resigned myself to the expense, and while I spent a little more than I had hoped, I got a screaming good deal on a 40 gallon tank. The Aksarben team then set to work to ensure that we could somehow fit into their schedule same day since I had already taken the day off to get this issue resolved.I would not be disappointed, and Phil showed up this afternoon and set to work. Before I knew it, the old unit was summarily drained, disconnected and removed. I like to watch the work as it unfolds as a bit of a do-it-yourself type who learned form experience when the job is bigger than I am. Phil was never uncomfortable with me watching, asking a few questions, and just being there. I learned a ton just from watching him go about his work.It's always a treat to watch a real artist at their trade. Phil was definitely an artist and set to resolving the copper pipe issues with the unique setup that exists in the basement of our 116 year old home. By the time he was finished, he had somehow pulled off what I didn't think was possible. I expected some of the lines to require re-routing with the larger sizes of the new water heater, and it was a satisfying moment for me when I realized he pulled off everything without requiring any extraneous lines.I also got to talk with Phil about frequency of draining, and potential service with the unit we elected to purchase. He took his time and went over things with me, not once minding my questions while he was skillfully going about his installation.And with all that said, the job was done super fast. I told my wife, this is something I probably could have done as a do-it-yourself type guy with about 12 hours and a dozen tips back and forth to the hardware store. Still I expected a lengthy job of 3 to 4 hours, but a short 2 hours in, we were turning the water back on and firing things up. Phil made it look easy, and confirmed exactly why you call in a professional to get the job done right the first time!Nothing short of amazing service and I couldn't be happier. It may have been a bit of an expensive repair, but you even made that palatable. Thanks to the Aksarben team for an unparalleled customer experience. Aksarben update. Using the home service plan my furnace and AC were cleaned well. Micheal was very professional and knowledgeable. He explained the system to me and pointed out some ways I could improve its function. He also diagnosed a small issue and lead me to getting it fixed.Aksarben plumbing quickly diagnosed the problem and had proffesionals out to fix it. The lead plumber guided me to my home insurance plan and saved us a ton of money. All staff were professional and kind. Felt safe having them in the home taking care of stuff while I was at work. Their communication with me was excellent and I never felt out of the loop.Considering the problem (a cracked main line) the work was completed in a short amount of time. Would hire them for anything needed!

I have an older home and some plumbing problems that go along with it. I recently had two separate issues that Aksarben came out to repair. I was very happy with their customer service on both occasions. Within a couple weeks of being fixed, one of the issues came back again. Aksarben came back to fix it under their service warranty.They got the clog cleared and could have left it at that, but they took the extra steps to run a camera down the drain, as well as the main line to make sure there are no hidden issues. They also made some suggestions on how to avoid the clogs in the future, and suggested I consider a larger project that could be a more permanent fix.I appreciated them going the extra mile to make sure I was satisfied, and am very happy with their work and customer service, which can be hard to find these days.

Twice we have used aksarben ARS for AC and furnace replacement and each time has resulted in fantastic customer service from initial first phone call, to follow up visits. Our most recent need of a technician to come to our home to service a non-functioning furnace went flawlessly. Michael P. was prompt, courteous, and thorough on all points, giving us our options on either trying to repair the unit or opt for replacement. I'd recommend them to anyone in the local area for their heating and cooling needs.

(Edit 7/29/23) Your response doesn’t really address the issue. A total of $435 to replace a $10 capacitor doesn’t even come close to a reasonable charge. There are no permits or inspections that are warranted for this service. No wonder why you have over 1,000 complaints posted at the Better Business Bureau. Your generic responses to every complaint says it all.I will never use this business again. Paid $109 for diagnostics of our AC unit. I told them it was most likely the capacitor. He checked the system over and quoted the repair for a total of $435 to replace it. $109 for diagnostics and the rest for the part and labor. Matt (tech) said the parts are a lot more expensive now and that is why it costs so much. I declined the repair and I picked up a capacitor for $10.57. That means their shop rate is well over $900 an hour. I replaced it in about 20 minutes and the unit works fine now. He said I could go with 2 other options of replacing the capacitor, motor, coil cleaning, and recharge the unit for $2,211. Option 3 would be to replace it along with the furnace for $17, 417. The furnace and AC unit quoted were the bottom end units. 80 percent efficient furnace and 13 seer AC unit. These guys must work off of a commission. The owner should be ashamed running a business like this and trying to take advantage of potential customers.

The inspection was thourogh and after it was determined my unit was unsafe, they immediately came with a customer care rep to get me the correct unit for my home at a affordable price. They assisted with securing financing for the project, and the install was done the very next business day. The install team was knowledgeable and took the time to answer any questions I had. Their work was clean and professional and I am quite satisfied with the job done here today.

I had Aksarben put in a theme AC for me about 8 years ago and 2 years after installed it started leaking Freon. They did a dye test and could not find the leak. So for the restvof my 5 year warranty they just kept replacing the Freon because it was under warranty but never fixed the problem. So now I have central air that has sat here on my property not working for years and still doesnt work and I guess they expect me to keep having Freon added every year and pay for it myself. No thanks. Maybe someday I can afford to have an actual honorable company either fix this one or replace it with a decent machine or something. Til then I gave up on Aksarben being helpful and installed some window units that at least will keep my main floor cool. 😡

The first guy was really nice. Our system was iced up and so he told us to turn it off for a few hours.There was no need for a second visit. The second person did absolutely nothing. If we knew what a con artist this person was going to be, we would’ve never even open the door. If we knew the false business practices of exurban, heating and air, we would’ve gone with someone else. I’m not sure if the service technician gets to keep the money and that’s why he pushed for that $109 payment for a 20 minute visit either way absolutely ridiculous. You should all look at the notes on my account because there is one free service credit from the install sales person. We absolutely will not recommend your company to anyone and we will go as far as the contrary, and tell people not to go with you. Also, my husband called to complain and was promised a manager would call back. It has now been four days and there has been no callback from your company. No surprise just thought you should know. Again due to lack of responsiveness and poor service we will not be recommending your services.

THANK YOU ARS for your outstanding support, came home from work, my heater went out, called ARS at 4pm, they had someone out very quickly, great phone support!..The service tech (Jackson) kindly asked a few questions, narrowed down the problem and had my heater up and running quickly...Now, he also pointed out several faults with the 15 plus year old furnace. Cracked Heat Exchange, Flame rod, Mother Board had a bad resister. Before you know it, I had a NEW furnace installed. Thank you for ensuring my family and house is safe!

Tyler from AksarbenARS came out to investigate a problem with a clicking noise and start up issues on our 17 year old furnace. He was courteous and prompt. The problem was serious. Tyler was very thorough in his explanations of the problem and our options. Much of the interior of our unit had rusted away and the electrical boards were damaged. Rather than rebuild the old system, which they'd given us quotes for, we chose to speak to David (Tyler and David worked to arrange the meeting for only an hour later, which was great!) about getting a new system and AC. Likely, the AC was leaking water onto the furnace, which caused the problem. We knew the system had age and wear related issues, so we decided to go with a new system. David was earnest and clear in helping us plan the new installation and he was able to arrange it for the next day. The next morning, Marcus, Billy, and team arrived very promptly, worked continuously and courteously, and had the install completed by 2:30. Marcus explained the system to us, giving us time for questions and when the team left we felt very good about our decision to use AksarbenARS for this process.

Brian R arrived at our house after 5 pm and it was 53 degrees in our house (was sub zero outside) he discovered the issue which requires a part needed from a supplier warehouse - it was after 7pm at this point. Brian was here until 9:30 to ensure we had heat that night. He was thorough, kept us informed of progress and ensured all our questions were answeredThank you Brian! Saved us from a cold night 😍

They were supposed to run a new gas line as we were switching to a gas range. Instead of going back to the main line and bringing over 3/4 inch line they tapped into the 1/2 feeding the water heater that was close by. All they did was replace the elbow with a T connection and run 10 ft of 1/2 in flex pipe through the floor, which I am not sure is even code? The valve behind the range was put in sloppy so the range won’t go all the way back to the wall. For this we waited 2 weeks they changed nearly $800 and were not here an hour?I called their customer service and never got a call back. My wife and daughter were the ones here and both felt the techs complained a lot and would have done it right had a guy been there.

Dan K. was extremely helpful and nice. Dan did a plumbing check of our new house. He explained everything he was doing, and what was good or bad about the things he had found. He explained why he thought things should be replaced. He also helped me schedule an appointment for a future task. I would highly recommend Aksarben ARS!

I contacted this company after my kitchen drain stopped draining. I had tried to clean the drain with a snake but the sink was still not draining. They were able to get someone out the next day. Austin came in and looked at the problem, saw an issue with the water vortex of the garbage disposal, adjusted it, and voila. He had fixed the issue. Since he was there, I had him run a power snake through the kitchen line to give me piece of mind. Mind you, he said nothing else was necessary. I would highly recommend this company and Austin. First let me start by saying that every tech I have ever had out to my house has been very professional and trust me when I say I believe that is every tech they have! However, I did question how will trained they are as I have a heat pump in my house and when ever I ask a question or they make recommendation I seem to get multiple different answers! This is extremely frustrating especially when one of them then says you are not listening to their recommendations and then notes that in the ticket! Second, I purchased the heat pump from them and they have done all the maintenance to it! Even have the protection plan since they day I purchased it! After 7 years one of the techs finally noticed it was not hooked up completely and the 3rd element has never been used causing excess strain on the other two, and guess what? They need to be replaced! Guess who had to pay for that? Yep, yours truly! I guess the good thing is it now fully hooked up or at least that is what I am told! At that point you have to ask how after all these years and semi-annual check-ups does that get missed and how is that my fault or responsibility to pay for it?! In the end I give them the two stars because of how polite and professional the techs are when they come to the house, if this was based on the service manager, I wouldn't give them a single star! Even, after this I would still recommend them and still do, but it gets harder and harder as things like this seem to happen now every winter and they are still my choice when it comes to HVAC systems and plumbing! I just hope things improve going forward!

Tyler and Anthony did a great job putting in copper pipes in my bathroom plumbing. I had another job that Tyler came back to to with Sam. They replaced an improper install from when I purchased my home & replaced the old lead pipe waste line. They all are very nice and pleasant to work with. Very professional and efficient. I would’ve given them a 5, but there was confusion about an appt I had scheduled, causing delay in other repairs I have to get done. They were still overall very nice & I would do business with them again.

Don't Use them!!! Would have given them 0 rating, if it lets me. There are better options. Unprofessional, and totally un-acceptable. I called them and they scheduled an appointment week later. Waited 5 days and in the 6th day called and informed that they weren't able to come fix it and cancelled the appointment. Had they notified sooner or told me from get go that they wont be able to send technicians, i would have sought somebody else. Now i waited for days and have to do it for more since i have to get somebody else.

The service techs who checked our A/c this afternoon were pleasant, neat and very proficient in their work. They did their work in a timely fashion and left the work site clean and in good order. Mike lives in our neighborhood and it is good to know he is an experienced, local man. We have had Aksarben service our furnace/A/C for many years and this was probably the best experience for us.

Our geothermal system wasn’t blowing cold air. I had used ARS in the past for some other issues. They delivered back then, and delivered this time as well. I called Saturday morning, then set me up for an appointment between 12-4 that day, and showed up at 10:30am. They were efficient, honest and transparent. The fix was completed within 30 mins on an advanced system and they were on their way. I won’t go anywhere else.

AC went out the day before I left town. I called them, they arrived for the appointment the next day as scheduled, fixed the unit, and left. Everything was acceptable with the work, my issue is their price - which they discussed with my son, not with me, because I was out of town. The repair was a bad capacitor. The new capacitor was $75. They charged me $700 for the repair. $625 for a service fee and labor. The guy was here for less than an hour. I thought there was an error - so I called them to discuss. After 5 days, and 4 calls, finally got someone who told me, nope, no mistake, that's just their rate. That's insane.I kinda suspect they gouged me a bit because they knew I was out of town and in a bind. If they didn't then their regular price structure is based on buying new boats and vacation homes for the ownership group or something. Won't be calling them back.

The salesperson was friendly, not pushy. Instillation crew was clean, courteous, and cleaned up after they finished the job. They took time to explain how everything worked. Great experience for us.

Aksarben always exceeds expectations. Not only are their service people knowledgeable but they are considerate and concise. They do not explain things three times to me, like other companies do. I called about an old unit in our separate garage, it was built in 1973. Eric arrived and got to work, not cynical about the age of the unit or asking why I'd want to fix it. He got to work and tried to solve the problem, but needed a different part he didn't have on his truck. He called me the next business day, ready to come and get it working....and he did.

In the process of selling our home we were informed our 30 year old furnace needed replaced (go figure). Aksarben ARS was awesome specifically Corey who did the original diagnosis of our old furnace, to Jake who came out within the hour to figure out the best, most cost effective replacement and then Travis who stayed the entire day to finish the install. Would definitely recommend Aksarben ARS again. Straight shooters and always accomadating! Good job guys!

HORRIBLE CROOKS!! My mom's central air unit stopped cooling correctly so the first company I called was Quick Fix. He only charged $50 for the call but gave bad news, the unit that my mom thought was new with her house needed to be replaced. I'll get back to this later. We decided to get a 2nd opinion from Aksarben with a $89 dollar service call. Matthew came out and of course I didn't tell him about the previous diagnosis. The one thing he said that was consistent with the other co. was the unit needed to be hosed down. After performing all the testing, he said that cleaning the unit, replacing a part and adding coolant would fix the problem and it would be 500.00. He also said that if any problems should arise within 30 days they would come out for free to address the issue. The temp in the house remained at 77-80 degrees with a window unit she had to buy. We called them back and they wanted to charge another fee and said it was at the discretion of the tech. This tech now wanted to charge her another 395.00 to run a dye test because there was no coolant!! Plus he was rude and unprofessional with my mom. I am recommending the first company QUICK FIX!! Although he didn't give us the answer we wanted, it was honest. He had nothing to gain since he said up front he does not replace units. He was professional, friendly and knowledgeable and tried to help us see if the warranty was still attached. Aksarben said what we wanted to hear but it was a lie with a hefty price. Quick Fix didn't say what we wanted to hear but told the truth.

Tech Dylan Wood was knowledgeable and took time to explain and answer any and all questions I had. The reminders, text messages and call when Dylan was enroute to my house was great, and unlike other service providers, I wasn’t left wondering if and when he would show.

The service tech was here within 2 hours of my call. He was professional and courteous. He diagnosed the problem and had the heat back on within 30 minutes. He explained what was wrong and what he did to fix it. He didn't try to sell me anything new, just fixed what I needed fixed. He also performed a number of safety checks and took a bunch of readings to ensure the safety and reliability of my HVAC. All told he was in and out in about an hour and a half. Great service.

Changed from 5 to 1. Purchased maintenance plan, but found out when it was needed, those services promised and paid for couldn't/wouldn't be supported. We were treated rudely, and when we tried to follow up, we were not contacted and had to continue making calls to speak with a supervisor. No resolution other than us cancelling the plan. Don't waste your time with this service.

Noah did a great job getting my system ready for summer. Did a great job explaining how the system was operating and cleaned everything out. He took photos of before and after to show how much he had cleaned things.

Had an hvac tech and his manager come out to the house to do a yearly inspection on the furnace. They found a couple problems with the unit that would cost 3,079 to repair/parts for the furnace or buy a new one for 6,700. They wanted to replace the heat exchange unit and the gas valve. Before moving forward I had a second company come out and do another inspection. The second inspection told me that everything with my furnace is perfectly fine and their fixes did not need replaced. Aksarben even sent a salesperson out to try and sell me a new furnace with one that is running perfectly fine. Overall had a very poor experience with Aksarben.

Everything started fine. Plumber was prompt, initially diagnosing dried putty around the shower drain causing the leak. Bill would be $105 (one hours labor) and the $45 to show up. When testing after found that drain pipe at the shower was cracked. Plumber said he had to get a part and that the bill would be $451! He got the part, installed it and charged $451 for the part and the $45 to show up. We had a coupon for $55 off so the total was $441. The plumber was there a total of 2 hours including going to get the part. My wife paid. When I got home I was stunned and went 2 days later to talk with the plumbing supervisor at Aksarben ARS. Tom said he needed to talk to Jamie the plumber and find out how he got the number for the bill he did. Some lady from the firm called the next day and explained that when replacing parts they come with their own time period so the price is not how long it takes to install the part but what they can justify as a price. Imagine what car mechanics could charge! I cannot recommend these people and urge you to try another plumber. Also get the price estimate before the work begins.

Lucas did an excellent job. One of the best technicians we have ever had to our home!! He took the time to explain all aspects of our system & pointed out a safety concern from our garage heater that was not vented correctly, (put in by the previous owner). It could possibly leak carbon monoxide, so we were very happy he made us aware of the situation. His paperwork was very detailed. I would definitely recommend Aksarben & Lucas!

The technician, Noah, was on time, knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly. He performed a very thorough inspection of our a/c and did a great job of explaining everything he did and what he found. He was able to answer any questions I had. As always he made some recommendations for add on services but at no point did he try to pressure me into buying anything. in jun 2021 had ac/heating replaced; was promised a $250 rebate; to this date, 28 sep have not received anything but different stories about the rebate being worked on; i feel like i am being taken advantage because i am a senior citizen.. i have told all my co-workers and family/friends.

I own a service business. I understand that sometimes things happen that can leave customers with a bad impression. I had heard from other businesses not to call Aksarben, but when our A/C failed on a hot day they were the only company that could come out same day so I gave them a chance. Worst mistake ever. The first technician said our filters were dirty. We replaced them and found that he was looking at the wrong rooftop units because ours were clean. The second tech (Jeff) came out and said we had a bad thermostat. We replaced the $150 unit and the A/C still wouldn't work. We called management to complain that we had now been 3 WEEKS without our secondary A/C unit so they sent Jeff back out. Knowing we don't open until 10, he was trying to leave when my employees pulled up. Jeff's new conclusion was that we must have destroyed our transformer when replacing the thermostat. He repaired that and then found a restriction in the evaporator or something like that. He informed us that will be pricey and he had to have his service manager get us a quote and order parts because the unit on our 8 year old building was supposedly 15 years old (yeah right). The entire time Jeff dealt with me and my staff he was rude, condescending and highly defensive of his clearly inaccurate diagnosis throughout the process. He even blamed us because he couldn't find our units on the roof. Hello, that's kind of your job Jeff - not mine. Aksarben can give me a quote, but I don't trust them. D&H is coming out Friday to check Jeff's work and tell me what is really wrong.UPDATE 8-3-16. Another HVAC company came out and resolved our issue. Aksarben quoted me $3,000 to replace pieces of the cooling unit, but the issue was an obstructed duct. $280 later we have A/C.

--Edit -- Just thinking about this more. Definitely Scammed. They upsold on replacing that extra cap when it was perfectly fine. The tech probably wanted some extra money. He even took the extra cap, probably to install on YOUR AC. Enjoy it.--One star because instead of increasing the hourly rate they charged $304 for a kick start cap that cost $45 from the manufacturer and $247 for a cap that cost $20.That's $65 compared to $550!They literally are charging 10 times the price of parts. And on top of that they charge $90 to show up and since I didn't remind them they didn't apply the coupon that I spoke with the lady on the phone about for $50. (Edit: In the end they gave me 2 coupons for about $115 bringing the final price down to 525 ish)I will never use any ac repair service again. This was the stupidest mistake I've made so far as a home owner.So here's a +1 to the rest of the comments that say they screw you on the parts. It's more than just a screw, it's however many screw you got, times 10 + 1.

Michael P. was excellent. He not only troubleshot our issues working from least to most severe issue to find all the problems. But he went out of his way to check parts of the system even after we found the supposed issue earlier. This was crucial to us discovering the furnace was unsafe and needed to be replaced. He did all this while explaining it as well. Yes it sucks having to replace the furnace but we really owe Michael a lot. If he hadn't discovered the larger problem we get well could have had it explode on us.Edit to add:Mitch and Wayne showed up earlier than scheduled by a few minutes to install our new furnace and humidifier (see above for furnace issue). Not only were they professional but quick to get to work and thorough in their installation process. This is my first house so I was already stressed about the whole process but they made it much easier to deal with. After they finished testing everything Mitch was kind enough to go through standard routine maintenance with me so I knew exactly what to do to keep the new system running smoothly for years.

Michael was very professional and fixed our broken furnace in under an hour! He clearly explained the problem and provided helpful recommendations to prevent it going forward. Overall, a very pleasant experience working with ARS.

The guys did an awesome job getting the pipe unclogged and things fixed so I could use my washer. They stayed to make sure the washer drained properly and gave me some stuff to use once a month for maintenance. They were friendly, professional and made a quick job of it.

Had aksarben service contract called them as my ac was frozen they told me they would not send anyone out for 24 hours as it would take that long to thaw out. Ice on outside of unit was gone in 1 hour it was 90 degrees out. Called another company they came out in the afternoon fixed my furnace took out the two pounds of freon as it was overfilled by 2 pounds that aksarben had put in last year. And had to take the unit apart and put new screw in it as the aksarben guy didnt replace the screws so the unit was falling apart. Terrible workmanship. So angry called to cancel the service contract told them why and Michelle said sorry you had issues will get it cancelled. Not what can we do to fix this. She was the one that wouldnt send a tech out to my house. Terrible customer service

Wanted to recognize again a Mr. Jeff Clayton for his professional exemplary service regarding fixing a new, separate leaking pipe in the basement! Mr. Clayton has installed the original main water shutoff valves to the house with the new remote read water meter attached along with repairing two separate leaks in the house, moving the water heater and re-plumbing all the water pipes related to it. All the soldering and positioning of pipes were exceptionally well done. Have never had a leak or problem with any of the work done by Aksarben reps or Mr. Clayton ever– his and Aksarben’s work is perfection! I am on a service plan that checks out heat and AC every year. Have always had good service. The dispatcher even called saying tech had an emergency come up, got me rescheduled the next day with no problem.

We called around 10am and they were here by noon. I felt like Phillip did a good job at informing me on what the issues were and got the unit going. On the hottest day of the summer so far. 👍

ARS stands for American Residential Services but be careful...they'll take your appointment then at the time of the appointment tell you that they don't service townhomes. Another example of outsourcing call centers to someone sitting at home reading from a script and creating confusion/poor customer service.

I have used Aksarben for 15 years and have always found them to be exceptional. Their p[rices are fair, their service is prompt and they really do care about your needs. Having had 2 preventive visit a year, I have seen many great technicians, but our most recent visit from Jason B. was the best so far. He was friendly and courteous, and explained technical issues in terms that even I could understand. I have never had a technician from Aksarben who was not highly competent. I would not even think of using another company for heating, air or plumbing!

Tech was very straightforward and honest.

Brandon checked our furnace/ ac coils, cleaned the ac unit, had to replace a faulty compressor and a few other things. He was very thorough in checking everything and explained everything so I could understand how it all works. I’ve requested him to be the guy every time we need a ac/heater check up or service.

I needed the bathtub spout with diverter replaced. I had already removed the spout, but it had a welded on brass adapter which I mentioned when I called saying I just needed that removed and the new spout I had already bought put on. I was told I would get a call in advance to let me know they were on the way. I didn't get a call until they were at my door. I knew about the service fee of $48, but for less than half an hour, and to just remove the brass adapter and put a new spout on, it cost me $200. Then the man didn't want to use the spout I bought because he said it wasn't one he liked to use because it wasn't a good one. So then I had to pay for a new spout, after he opened and ruined the package of the one I had, so who knows if I can return it. Very unhappy with service and cost. (I had 3 light fixtures taken down, replaced with new, power diverted, with dimmer switch installed for $140. Why did under half an hour of work with the spout already removed cost me $200?)

Jesus Salas was our drain technician yesterday. He was proficient at his problem solving of our sewer drain system and getting our sewer backup removed. He was informative on pricing depending on the problem found, friendly to work with, knowledgeable, and helpful in his suggestions on how our family can avoid this problem in the future. He is excellent at his job. We really appreciated him. Thank you Jesus.

When I called they were able to send a technician out and work with my schedule.The tech was prompt, Courteous and very knowledgeable he was able to fix my problem and explain what was wrong.I would highly recommend this company and technician.They also cleaned up after themselves which is a plus in my book. 😁

Do NOT use this company! They are extremely overpriced and underserve on their service visits. A1 United Heating and Air provides MUCH better service with a checklist of all the important measurements for your heating/cooling system. A1 did more in one visit than Aksarben did in two visits - and Aksarben still didn't resolve my issues. They would have charged me $3800 to have my furnace blower replaced and coils cleaned.

Whatever you do, don't use this company! We have now been without A/C for ten days! They promise 24-hour service, especially when you have a service plan like we had, but it took FIVE days for anyone to visit. A part was finally ordered earlier this week, but they will not provide information as to when it might arrive (I tried again today). They also will not let you speak to anyone truly in charge. You cannot get past their telephone screeners/schedulers, and a screening supervisor, to anyone else. Those screeners have actually stated that (paraphrasing) ...we are doing our best but cannot guarantee 24-hour service when we are really busy and A/C's break during a heat wave...we are overwhelmed. Then why advertise 24-hour service? There is no asterisk stating except when it's really busy and A/C's start breaking down. Oh, and they have also blamed COVID for some of their issues too. We are going into a weekend with no relief in sight and another heat wave on the way. Wish we would have had another company help us even if we had to pay a little more!

Phil did a great job on repairing the AC in my home. Extremely professional and told me ways on how to prevent future problems from occurring.

Robin the estimator was on time and and was very professional he did what it was expected and wrote me an estimate for $ $490 for a main line water valve replacement coming from the street after review of the estimate I did call Robin back and told him that I did uncover the curb stop box and it was dug out and ready for the technician to show up the technician was very professional as well and friendly and he was done within an hour used no more than a foot of copper pipe a couple of couplers and the main line ball ball valve like I said he was done within the hour so I was kind of surprised that it was still going to be $490 for the covered Works since I dug up the curb stop box and it was fully accessible however I am pleased with service not necessarily the billing.

The technician Mike was amazing! We had such an awful experience with Choice Home Warranty where we went 5 days without heat, only to have some fly by night person come to fix and he just made it worse! Aksarben ARS was responsive, professional and they came out same day and fixed the mess from the other tech that messed everything up! Went to Home Depot to buy a water heater. Agreed to have them set up a company to install it. Was contacted by aksarben ARS to come for an estimate. 2000, with option to add aux pressure tank for an additional 250. Never bought a water heater before, agreed on installation 2 days later. After getting quotes from 3 other businesses, agreed to have another business installed one for 1200, pressure tank included. To be overcharged a full 1000 dollars for same service is disgusting. Luckily I didn't just go with their estimate based on basically Home Depots' good reputation. Please, please, get more quotes from other businesses before signing or agreeing to anything from this company.

I was very happy with Don's troubleshooting and inspection of our furnace and A/C unit. He was very professional, and took the time to answer my questions and explain everything to me. Additionally, he was very careful to not track mud or debris into the house, which was especially nice since we had just had the carpet replaced.

I’m sure I just was unlucky, but Tom frankowski was sent out to our house to install a nest hello video doorbell that I had gotten from a friend. Tom was incredibly nice and talkative, but he did a horrible job installing the device. Pieces of the back plate and the doorbell itself were broken after he installed it. Anchors he attempted to use in the wall of our house were sticking out of the house. The chime in our doorbell sounded muffled after he was finished. Had to completely remove the device and install myself. The quality assurance department at aksarben ars has yet to return my calls or emails.

Technically he was late, but it was communicated with me and expectations were made clear. Tryed to charge 1000 bucks for a 25 dollar part and then 120 bucks to just come out had a family friend do it in 10 mins for 140 and was just a 25 dollar part at ace they people are crazy what they try to charge and the up sale they gave saying I needed to get a bunch of other stuff done then they didn't even properly diagnose it totally trying to take advantage of the working class people

My original post I gave a rating of 1 star based on they did not thoroughly complete job as we didn't have hot water after. Their technicians are very thorough and do great work. Well priced for service but a little heavy for parts. Scheduling is easy and they are very professional. I've found them to be honest and they will definitely go the extra mile to make sure your equipment is up to snuff... that being said, they do have the tendency fall in the same category as the friendly auto mechanic who can always be trusted to find EVERYTHING possibly wrong with your car. So big grain of salt on their repair recommendations, get 2nd opinions, and evaluate importance and urgency yourself. (I don't really hold this against them, they are a business after all and they are supposed to try and make money.)

He replaced what needed to be fixed and was very informative. He was also amazing at communicating with me over the phone, in person, and text until the job was done. Get another quote, so you don’t have to write a review just like this one!I was in the market for a new furnace and reached out to Aksarben heating and cooling. I got a quote for upwards of $7500 for just a furnace for an approx. 1800 sq/ft home. I was told by their sales team this was a very good deal, as this was their discounted rate. I assumed Aksarben established and reputable business, however I quickly learned they overpriced and my installation experience can only be described as somewhat sketchy.I did agree to the sale, they did show up on a Saturday and took the entire day to install. After they left, it still being summer, we turned on our air to have our entire HVAC system fail and “freeze” up. When I called for them to review their work, they claimed it was a coincidence. They claimed my air conditioner now needed repair, but more likely replacement to the tune of another $6000 dollars, for a unit that was still supposed to be under their warranty from their previous repair. They claimed the unit was out of warranty, at which time I stated receiving very aggressive sales calls to replace.The whole experience had me feeling very uneasy, so I started calling around and immediately became aware their prices are almost DOUBLE than the industry standard. I called and left messages to receive any sort of itemized receipt and they would not return my calls. I then had to threaten to report them to the BBB, at which time I finally received a receipt with no additional details.I did end up replacing my Air Conditioner through SOS Heating & Cooling at almost half the price of what Aksarben quoted me. The SOS quote also included a better warranty and one I trust they will actually stand behind.I feel taken advantage of! Aksarben is using a very reputable name in the Omaha community and clearly they know that – which is why Aksarben Heating and Cooling chooses to not only price gouge their customers, but continue to try and do so after they have them on the hook.

Scheduling, scheduling reminders, notification of pending arrival were all done with utmost professionalism. Service technician introduced himself and worked very efficiently to complete my annual A/C system checkup, thoroughly explained the purpose of each check and how the results compared to acceptance limits, thoroughly cleaned the A/C unit as if were his own, and recommended two optional devises to improve air quality via electronic ionization and monitoring for carbon monoxide via WiFi enabled Nest CO detector.

The whole experience with Aksarben has been smooth and painless from the time of scheduling the initial appointment to having systems checked and repaired. Phil was very easy to work with and got right to work going through both the HVAC and A/C systems. The system checks seem to be very thorough and everything was explained in detail. I would recommend to anybody looking to have work done, or to have systems checked.

Northstar worked very hard for over two hours to make sure my AC unit was up to speed for the summer. His customer care and service was excellent. He is a very caring technician and communicates everything he finds very well.

We had both furnace and a/c replaced. They did change duct work on water heater. 2 days after the install, I discovered not just with a shower, but then to rinse out my disabled father's catheter equipment, we had barely any hot water. We had hot water before replacement. I called office on Friday, barely 48 hrs after install to tell them of problem, and all I was told they couldn't get back to my home to fix problem until 5 days from my call to get someone out. It was still early enough to send someone to check it. But NOOOOO! I then called sales agent who sold unit to us and left a message about problem and have yet to receive a call back. So far I'm not satisfied 😕. Dillon and Nate were the installers. Dave was the salesman. Go figure🤷‍♀️ They made right with the problem in a timely manner. Thank you. I do recommend Aksarben H&A/C.

Although they were running late that day, Jeremy C, the technician, didn't mind walking me through the process of performing maintenance and checks on my furnace. He also gave me tips on up-keeping my humidifier and even helped solve an issue with my fireplace free of charge. With a coupon, price for the whole service was only $50. Would use them again for sure.

Brian did an outstanding job servicing my HVAC unit. He fully explained everything that he did and the results of the tests, all around great service.

I contacted Aksarben at 8pm at night regarding replacing the water supply valves for my washer and dryer. I received a call back from one of their plumbers within 30 minutes to gather additional information and determine the urgency of the issue, determine what they needed to do to in advance, and provide me an approximate price. Since the issue could wait until the next day, they arranged to have a plumber come out the next morning.Aksarben's office called me first thing in the morning to confirm the appointment, had their plumber arrive on time, and quickly and courteously completed the necessary work.This is exactly what I look for in a plumbing company: superb responsiveness, great questions in advance to ensure they brought the right parts, arriving on time, and getting the work done without any surprises!

The appointment window was ridiculous. They said that it would either be Thursday or Friday, and they would contact us. They did not. They did end up coming on Friday, but only after we called them. The technician claims we have a leak, but did not come prepared with equipment to locate it. It is now the following Wednesday, and they have not returned. Had I known it would take over a week and a half from when we called I would have gone with another service. Supposed to be coming tomorrow, and it WILL be the last time they will service anything at my home. The only reason we have waited is that we would be on the hook for the bill for them to just come out. It is embarrassing that we have had guests here and no AC. I hope they treat other customers better than us. I'm sure there are other businesses that will appreciate our business.

The installation guys, Mitch, Wayne and Jake, did a fabulous job is installing the new furnace and AC. They showed the proper way to change filters and instructed us on using the new thermostat. They were very thorough as well as courteous.

We were replacing a kitchen faucet. The shut off valves under the sink wouldn't completely stop the water flow. Called Aksarben Monday morning and they said they could have a guy out in the afternoon. They called when he was on his way. I needed to diagnose and fix an issue with my hot water heater so I called these guys. Brian (if I remember correctly) showed up, looked at the unit for 10 minutes, calls and orders a new part, then leaves without explaining anything at all to me. I paid them but the part he ordered was wrong 😑. The real issue was not explaining anything at all to me.

My water heater failed Sunday morning and I contacted Home Depot for a replacement with their contracted installers Aksarben ARS. I was contacted later that day by Aksarben and was set to have my estimate that Monday morning. Chandler the estimator arrived and was very thorough with the recommendations for my new unit setting my appointment for later that day. Brady and Tyler the techs who replaced it, arrived on time and the job was completed within an hour and a half, taking the old unit with them. Both techs were competent and demonstrated the skills and training in the job they did. I might have paid a little more than average, but the results were worth it. Thanks Home Depot and Aksarben ARS for a job well done!

This company is absolutely amazing!! The workers Trevor and Ryan really did an outstanding job!!!! 5 stars all the way..they really took their time and were here over 12 hours....I'm so thankful when they were done they walked us thru everything. We had our ac and furnace replaced....I highly recommend these guys....

Was given a 12-4 timeframe for repair. The operator called at 1:08 to let me know the technician was on his way. Technician didn't show up until after 2:05, yet on the invoice he put that he was here from 1:15-3:15. The charge to snake my kitchen sink was $260. There were no parts involved and the technician spent less than 45 minutes in my home. He spent more time in his van writing up my service options and then again writing up my bill. Cost for service was outrageous compared to competitors. I was going on three days without a working sink and needed it fixed, or I would have declined service. Definitely would not use Aksarben ARS again.

Matthew was very knowledgeable, professional, and timely. He walked us through what the issue was and gave us a few different options to fix it. We got the issue resolved quickly. Service was great and we definitely recommend.

Am Very Happy with my experience as hard as a decision like this was Mike made it easy & he was great. Not to mention he was here within an hour after I called because my air was out & they got that. Scott & Paul were my installers & they Both were Amazing! They were professional, did a great job & made it all look nice. Had to replace my furnace & a/c & these guys were on it! Marcus and Derrick installation of our new central air unit was great. They were courteous and professional. The walkthrough after the unit was installed answered all our questions about the thermostat, the AC unit, how the connection worked in our basement. It was great! The clean up was great. Over all this was a great experience.

Noah was very professional and explained what he was doing every step of the way. Did not try to push products on me, just gave me accurate and helpful info. This is the second pleasant experience I have had with Aksarben ARS and I will continue to use their home service plan in the future.

Highly recommend Aksarben ARS. While they were not the cheapest I went for in regards to a new furnace and A/C, they take care of a lot of the worry. The only minor thing that happened was when the installer installed the furnace he pinched wire inside the furnace that caused our AC to no longer work. They came out same day to fix it no questions asked.

We were extremely happy with the emergency service Noah provided. We discovered sewage water leaking from the upstairs level of our home down to the basement. Our call was triaged appropriately and Noah keep in contact with us every step of the way. He was polite and explained everything in detail and answered all of our questions. The only reason I did not rate as a 5 star is because there is still ongoing work to be done with Aksarben in our home. I’d be happy to update my review with before and after photos once it’s complete. So far, we’ve received excellent service.

More than 3 times the cost for a simple repair. Thankfully, I bit the bullet and paid their “service call fee” and went elsewhere. So far ahead of the game by doing that. Almost 600 to place a new faucet in a kitchen sink? Tried to play me for a fool. Shame on them.

Our AC started blowing hot air on the 4th of July. I was able to get a same day appointment on a holiday! Brian Rhodes came out to fix it. He was quick, very knowledgeable & friendly. My house was back to cool in less than an hour after he was done. Because of Brian we signed up for the service plan.Brian & Aksarben are great!

Flat out crooks...They send a tech out to diagnose your system and basically lie to you so he can get you to buy a completely new system from them. The told me I had a crack in my heat exchange and needed to replace the whole thing. Luckily, I had someone else check the system before I agreed to buy a completely new furnace. It turns out there was no crack in my heat exchanger and I only found this out after having another company completely remove the heat exchanger to inspect it. I don't know how they get away with such foul business practices. Integrity is definitely not their strong suit and I would never recommend this company to anyone.

Bought a gas furnace and heat pump from Aksarben ARS. Few months later when gas furnace kicked in for first time I smelled burning plastic so I called them to check it out. Was used to new furnace giving off buring oil smell but plastic smell worried me. The tech examined the furnace and found nothing then charged me for a service call.

I just really appreciate Aksarben ARS! Matt came to help us complete maintenance on the AC system for our new home and was very patient as I asked a million questions. Matt educated me on everything from how to manage the air inside the house better, to cleaning the coils on the unit, and even explained how the dehumidifier system operates and best practices. I am so much more confident about all this thanks to Matt!

We called Aksarben on a Thursday regarding a broken AC. They sent someone out same day to take a look. Long story short, replacement was what was best for us. Same day, a sales rep came out and the units (heat/ac) were installed the next day! Excellent service from Eric the initial one who came out to David the salesman and finally from Lucas and Anthony, who did the install. All were very informative and professional. Would definitely recommend!

Aksarben heating + cooling is full of crooks!!We had a new AC unit put it with full 12 year warranty by another company in 2019 and it’s been working fine. Then January this year Aksarben came in and put in our new furnace and suddenly the AC isn’t working…. It’s brand new! They were perfectly fine with letting my children deal with 90+ degree temperatures inside the home but charged us a service fee to come check it out despite the fact that we are still under warranty!!I had to have to other company come out and figure out what was wrong with it, turns out Aksarben completely jacked up the wiring when they put the furnace is and now they are refusing to take responsibility for it and the cost I had to pay to fix their mistake (because they refused to do it themselves!!!!). DONT go with this company! They’ll mess your stuff up with their incompetence and then refuse to own up to it! And in the meantime your loved ones will suffer!!!

I set up an appointment first thing in the morning to have someone come look at a drain in my basement that was backing up. They told me they would be to my house 1-4pm. At 2:30 when I had not heard back, I called to make sure the appointment still stood. They said we are on our way. At 3:30 I was still waiting. I called back and they said Sorry, we will have to come tomorrow at the earliest. It is now too late for me to get another company to come today. I wish their customer service would have been better. I wish I had not been lied to and forced to wait around for hours on an appointment that clearly didn't matter to the business.

I recently installed the google nest thermostat into my home, but was having connectivity issues with one of the wires. Being that I am no hvac expert or an electrician - I decided to turn it over to the professionals and after much research - I came upon Aksarben ARS Heating, Air Conditioning and plumbing. I was able to get an appointment right away, which was awesome. Brandon, the technician sent to help was timely, extremely polite, very knowledgeable, and worked diligently to give us a peace of mind as he fixed our wiring issues, while checking the overall function of our furnace. It was just a diagnostic and there was nothing they could do that day.

Lucas had a trainee with him. They went about there work in a professional manner. Spent 1 hour and 15 minutes check and cleaning my air conditioning system. I feel they done a through job. I would like to have Lucas service my unite always.

I travel for work and came home to a flooded basement. I called Aksarben ARS the next morning and they were able to come out a couple hours later! Jesus was wonderful and if I could have the same person come out every time it would be Jesus! He was so knowledgeable and kind! I highly recommend this company for your plumbing needs!

Jacob C was my A/C service technician today and did a wonderful job of being thorough. He even discovered a small gas leak in my line in which I'm very thankful. They didn't try to sell me anything other than what I needed and did the job right and with speed.

Our tech Ben, came to our house the same day we called to make the appointment and showed up when he said he would. Ben was very personable and used PPE when entering our home for our safety and his. Ben wore shoe covers and didnt leave any mess behind. He diagnosed the problem in about 3 minutes and had the new piece installed in the next 5. Ben was quick and accurate with his repair. He got our AC working again in a matter of minutes! Ben took time to explain the issue to me and gave me some tips for preventative care for our unit. Ben went above and beyond. I appreciate his skills and professionalism. We will be using Aksarben H&A for the rest of our ac/furnace service requests. Thank you for all that you do. Phil was very helpful and nice. He figured out the issue with the furnace and was diligent on updating me once he was able to obtain the part. I liked that I did not have wait a long time for him show up and he was quick at installing the new inducer.

UPDATE 10-10-22 Daniel came out to double check make sure my thermostat and furnace were accurate and they were and he explained to me a couple things and explained why there was a difference and it made total sense plus Snoopy didn't bark as bad at him as he has other service people I've had out here so he's got a yes vote from Snoopy9-29-21 Ryan was here to do my HVAC service and pointed out that it'd be better if I had a black water tube for my furnace attached humidifier because it would cut down on the bed. And it wouldn't allow light trousseau I agreed and installed it in no time at all. He was very friendly and asked me if I had any problems or any questions which I didn't but very thorough and his job I do appreciate all of it is Aksarben employees and work that they do.UPDATE 11-3-20 Noah very thorough and knowledgeable to these tasks that he was doing friendly. He explained what he had gone through numbers what they meant and once again exceeded my expectations for HVAC people. I have no problem giving my recommendations as all their employees arthro dress properly uses their ppes and they always put booties on their shoes before walking into a house. And I look forward to seeing whoever they send in the spring when they check my AC out well worth the monthly cost to be on their program.Update 5-27-20 Derek was knowledgeable and listened to me and tell me what might happen and I'm going to wait until they come through to inspect my Plumbing next week and I am not regretting my decision I really love Aksarben they're honest hard-working and friendly.They are very helpful and very thorough and I'm happy with the work they do under contract for my HVAC system. I could not be more happy with my new AC and Furnace. I was nominated and selected to get a new setup as a veteran for free from Aksarben ARS. The whole team was amazing, very professional and super helpful. They took the time to make sure everything was right and let me ask questions along the way. Then before the left they went over everything with me, let me ask even more questions and cleaned up to make my furnace room better than when they arrived. I would hands down recommend them to anyone looking at getting any service done with this company. I can't thank this team enough!

I called on Tuesday night twice before someone called me. They just told us how to restart the furnace. When it did not start my daughter and I went to bed, because it was almost midnight and I had to be up in less than 5 hours. The next day my daughter called for an appointment, but they could not get to us until Thursday late in the day. So we spent a night in a hotel. When we got home on Thursday for our appointment it was 43 degrees in the house. Once the tech was where he did a wonderful job of fixing the furnace. I was really happy with that part of the service. The people on the phone were not so helpful. It seems the first person never took my information and pasted it on to a tech. The second person to answer the phone spoke so softly it was hard to hear him. Then the tech that called had his own idea of what was wrong and never listened to what I was telling him. He kept insisting he knew what was wrong and never heard what I was saying. So everything that happened until a tech showed up three days later, needs some retraining on the company's part. Would U called them again, yes, because I believe in second chances.

Scheduled them for a quote on a leak at a rental property. Plumber came out next day, called me with the problem but I was unable to answer due to a work meeting. I returned the call within half an hour, I was told the technician was on another job and the would call back the next day with the quote.Next day, no call. I call the following morning to get the quote, I give my information again and ask for an email so I can be sure to see what they are talking about.Next day, no call, no email. I call again, give my phone and email again. This time I am told that my case will be given to be quality assurance and resolved within 24 hours.Next day, no call, no email. Next day, no call, no email. I call back Monday morning, and am told I will get an answer by end of day. I call back at 5pm, still no quote or resolution. Am told that my case is going to quality assurance.....again.So I spent $50 on a diagnostic and it has been one week, with no diagnostic. I have reached out to them 5 separate occasions with no real response back.

I have never left a business review, but I felt compelled to do so as this business is extremely predatory. I received one of their $59 furnace tune-up specials that they had in Home Depot one day (this was my first mistake). Technician came out and told me my furnace was leaking gas, the fan motor was shot, and this would require nearly $4000 to fix. Ok, so I asked them for a quote on the cost to replace the furnace and air conditioner, to which they responded with: that'll be $16,000 (note: I have a home that is less than 2000 square feet). My brief Google search had told me that I should pay about half of that to replace my current units. The guy giving the quote didn't even include the specials from their website until I TOLD HIM ABOUT THEM, and then acted like he had never seen them before, which reduced the overall quote to a little more than $13,000 (actual image of the quote is listed below). Their business practice felt like those on a used car lot: sketchy and you're definitely going to get screwed somewhere. Don't waste your money. I'll be going with R Mechanical in Ralston from here on out.

I had a major leak from the kitchen plumbing going into my basement. It was like a waterfall in the basement with a clogged and leaking stack. Aksarben ARS was professional and did a great job repairing this major issue. Shout out to Phil, who assessed and managed this repair, for being a stand-up guy.

O’Shay was very personable and professional. He explained things well and gave me lots of good info to help me prevent future problems. He also offered to carry my fan downstairs to dry things out. That means a great deal to an old lady with a sore back!

He took the time to explain to me the issues with my furnace, how it happened, how to prevent problems in the future and most importantly fixed my furnace, a job that required all of the knowledge and attention to detail. AC died on Thursday night, with the next few days being 90+ I wanted it fix ASAP. After calling around on Friday morning they were able to send someone out same day! Dillon was able to diagnose the bad capacitor quickly and get it fixed so I wouldn’t have to wait a week to get it fixed!

I paid 49$ to receive an unrealistic estimate 2000$ to install 4 faucets and a garbage disposal. The costs were already fixed and clearly listed in a booklet that the estimator had. This information could have been provided over the phone. This was a complete waste of my time and my money.I asked another plumber to do the work instead, and they completely everything perfectly for less than 300$

Jacob came out with a trainee, Tim. They were courteous and professional and skilled. This team was able to diagnose the culprit as to why my AC was shutting off, an exposed wire, in 10 minutes; they didn't charge me for materials due to the inexpensive nature of the repair. I called the dispatch and told her to give these guys a raise.

Scheduled an A/C Tune up through them based on information given to me by their representative at the store I was at and the information posted on their website. During the tune up process the technician tells me if I would like for them to clean the condenser for a $70 additional charge even though their website states that part of the tune up includes “Inspect and clean the condenser.” I obviously declined this as I felt I was being misled. Spoke to a couple people one essentially confirmed “Inspect and clean the condenser” was part of the tune up and referred me to someone else and the second person said because they were no longer in contract with the company I initially set up my Tune Up through they would not honor that and they could send someone to do the cleaning for the $70 fee which I declined again. I suggest they update their information as it seems they will not do what they say they will do, makes you wonder what else they said they would do but wasn’t actually done. Everything was okay I guess.

The technician, Noah, was great! Very knowledgeable and quickly got to the root of the problem. He walked me through my options and the pros/cons of each. The fix was essentially topping off my freon to get things to start cooling.The price, however, seemed reeeeallly high after doing some searching afterwards. If it weren't for the fact that the next days were going to start heating up quickly, I would have paused on getting the freon from AARS and would have gotten some other quotes. Over $1000 for only 5lbs for R-410a seems extremely excessive considering the going rate online is $200 for 5lbs. Even a 100% mark-up would have been fine, but this felt excessive.While I appreciate the work the tech did, I will very likely look to other local shops first the next time we need AC repairs.

Ben was the service tech that helped us out. He went above and beyond to help us resolve a problem and fix our AC. He was able to help with issue caused by a different employee, that's the only reason I'm not giving 5 stars. Ben deserves 10 stars!

William was great today. He has a lot of knowledge, answered all of my questions and did my repair in a timely manner. He is a good asset for the company.

My fiance was home when the worker arrived. After looking at our furnace, he told her about a host of problems, but was unable to diagnose the cause of the thing we called about - a strange whine which recently started whenever the furnace is running. Much of what he told us felt like scare tactics designed to convince us to buy a new furnace; that there was a crack in our coil, that it could cause a C0 leak in our house, and that MUD typically shuts off the gas for this kind of issue. Further, he told her that both our furnace and A/C unit were too old, and we should just replace them instead of attempting repair. They are 16 years old and original to the house.He also told my fiance that the freeon in our A/C unit is illegal as of the first of this year. I'm not really sure what the implication there is - that we won't be able to purchase the freeon anymore, that we should replace the furnace, or that we were in possession of an (now) illegal substance? In any case, it wasn't the most helpful remark. Conveniently, the worker also mentioned that the company just so happens to have a deal right now, where we can buy a new furnace and get a free A/C unit. The worker advised he would be back on Wednesday with a more detailed quote on the costs of replacing our furnace and AC versus repairing the former, but unfortunately, we never heard from him, neither in person nor via phone call or email. I'm extremely disappointed in the scare tactics, the shameless sales pitch and the lack of follow through from this company.

Had my old AC replaced with Rheem AC. They had their work cut out for them. They not only removed my old Frankenstein Monster system, they moved the new outside unit to a more convienient spot for me, and setup my new thermostat. Everyone I worked with was so nice, and I want to give a special shoutout to the installers, my 2 year old son was running around and they were so nice to him and were teaching him new things. This was the best service experience I ever had, Marcus and Derrick are the best!

I Had planned to cancel my service contract after waiting FOUR hours only to have the service person no show. I as mad as H_LL. Contacted ARS and they sent someone out soon after my call. Caser was the technician. He fast, efficient and made up for the poor experience. Not happy with the initial experience but the mark of a good company owns up to the error and makes things right. My furnace is in good shape and l won’t have to wait for another service call. I will be keep my service contract.

Very disappointing experience. Apparently the technician who came was at the end of his shift, so he came up with several excuses to not have to fix our furnace while there. Frustrating, because obviously when you need repairs on your furnace in the winter, you would like it fixed as soon as possible. Aksarben was our first choice due to the great Google reviews, but again, but very disappointing experience, so we wouldn’t call again.

I have been thoroughly impressed by the friendliness, professionalism and knowledge of Mike M. He walked me through every detail of the choice of product and the installation procedure, right up to the maintenance of the water heater for ongoing successful results. The potential of having to endure more days, a weekend, and possibly taking more days off from work to get this resolved can put one on edge. I am so glad my husband called them. The work was done efficiently and fast! Yay! No weekend without hot water!!! A nice mother's day gift for me.

I went to Home Depot back in April to purchase a new AC unit. A sales guy named Jake came who was fast talking and slick talking at the mouth. I almost was going to ask him to leave until he turned things around. Now I am thinking I should have done just that. Every since I have had this unit installed which is a Rheem, I have had nothing but problems. This is now September and I have probably had them out to my home at least 4 times. Totally unacceptable!! I have contacted their office asking to have the sales guy by the name of Jake to reach out to me regarding my concerns at least 3 times, guess what NO CALL FROM Jake. Jake got his sale and could care less about my concerns. I guess this is the way business is done nowadays. I won't downplay the technicians because they are very professional when they have come to my home. But because of the nature of this situation and having to come out several times with issues with the unit I will not purchase anything major using Home Depot or Aksarben ARS. To give a run down of some of the issues: 1st call, Ac unit system not cooling after being installed.2nd call electrical issues3rd call same issues.4th call water pooling around furnace and system overcharged.This is insane to me. He found that the leak is a part of our sprinkler system, so not something he would fix as a plumber. Regardless, he took extra time to help me understand our situation and our home! The crew were quick, kind, and efficient in diagnosing, servicing, and installing my furnace. Even when technical problems arose, the crew brought in trainers and engineers to fix the problem. I really appreciated how quickly Aksarben ARS responded to my calls and how professionally the crew handled my tricky install. The gentlemen were nice, courteous, and easy to work with.

My furnace went kaput during the coldest spell of the year. We had already spent 2 nights in a 52 degree house and Aksarben was the only one I could get out on short notice. From the minute they came in, I felt like I was taken advantage of. Of course, my unit was shot and needed replaced- no cost effective options to fix it according to them. In the end, my HVAC system cost $13,000 (with the discounts)!!! Extremely high compared to others, I found out later. Then I had to call them back out twice more to get it running properly. And it still sounds like a freight train when it kicks on! After talking with 2 friends who have had Aksarben out, they have suggested that both of them replace the furnaces. Yet a second opinion reveals that the units can be serviced without replacement. I will not be using Aksarben in the future... it seems their main objective is to take advantage of their customers!

I was charged 1870 for a install water heater that cost under $600 with a $175 discount make the payment$1695 they charge me over $1000 to install a water heater upon checking every company I have call that this is totally out of range of what it cause to install a 40 gallon water heaterI feel you totally took advantage of me and my dying husband who passed away 9 days later there was also problems with how they messed with with my air condition while installing a new furnace trying to force me to buy a new air conditioner unit I didn’t need only to learn from another company that there was nothing wrong with my coils or it’s tray because they bent the medal tray back so that the tray carrying the water to the hose on the floor having been bent forward caused the problem something that didn’t not happen on it own because the try was to thick and there was no problem prior to them messing with it he told me there was nothing wrong with my coils I was lied to he bent it back and in place and no problem since another was the pipe replacement that was to be done they put the wrong pike into the ground try to hurry up and cover it up until lucky for me my neighbor who is a city inspector noticed the truck and asked for cadential and said don’t cover up that or the plumbing being done to install a Bathroom downstairs until he come back to inspect it leading us discovering they had not gotten a permit to do the work which they hurry down the next day to do and the pipe that was placed in the ground for the kitchen they hurry up and tore up and replaced with the right one they not only took advantage of us but was shady in their work practices and sought to Beat and mislead people like me with their statements in Google reviews, as they say they provide exceptional service that is inline with prices across the country as an excuse to cheat as many people as you can is what I think and they owe me a refund on the price gouging of the water heater installation “Waiting “So if I could I would put 0 for stars

I have used Aksarben for several installations over the past 4 years - ac/heater replacement, electrical panel replacement and now installation of my water heater and a new water softener unit today. I have been impressed with not only the quality products they have used but also to quality people that have done the work. Not necessarily the cheapest at times , but sometimes you get what you pay for, and not having a substandard product that needs constant attention is worth time and money also.

I was very pleased with the overall professionalism HVAC technician, Tim C. had, when he came to our house to inspect, and do an annual tune-up of our air conditioner. When he came to our house, he introduced himself, gave a business card, and listened to me, as I explained where everything was. He wore shoe covers throughout the entire visit (which is rare, as I don't tend to see this). He also took the time to clean our air conditioner the proper way, which took a while, as my unit was full of cottonwood. All this, in 95+ degree weather. Tim then came back in my house, to explain (in great detail-Thank you!!!) for me, how my unit was doing, and where he had written the information, on the unit itself. I was very pleased with the professionalism Tim gave my family. He went above and beyond our expectations. Thank you!

Lucas was very efficient and professional. Our household is very full with extra family members staying with us while they look for a new house to buy and he had to move a lot of stuff out of the way to do his work. Not only did he move everything, but he also put everything back when he was done. He also replaced the filter while he was was here, so we didn't have to do it this weekend. I have always been happy with Aksarben ARS and Lucas was great!! 7/2022 update: I just had Matthew come do maintenance on the air conditioner and he was just at amazing as Lucas. He was so professional & was able to get everything done without needing me, which was great since I was working. ARS is a great company with great employees.

Today their top notch tech, Brian, was able to quickly identify the issue I had been having with my HVAC system, recommend fixes, and didn't leave until everything was thoroughly explained and tested out in front of me. Aside from a great team of staff on hand, the Aksarben's association with Home Depot for 0% financing as well as their affordable annual servicing plan are what make me highly recommend them. I would appreciate it if the company could give at least a couple hours of a window of time of when to expect technicians to arrive, especially during the work week. Can't expect people to take the whole day off for a potentially 1-2 hour tech appt. There is no 24 hour emergency service as their cards indicate and I did have to call back a second time for service to arrive a week later on a brand new system so that's why I'm at 4 stars overall. Overall a must check out for the area.

Mitch Cruse took excellent care of my furnace needs. He even showed concern for my safety by covering up a power box which carried high voltage wires that were hanging out in the open. It was evident to me he really cares about his customers. He also loves his job and spoke highly about his company.

Called a local competitor as well as Aksarben last April to fix a leaking pipe behind a tub surround. Competitor wanted to pull out the surround and redo it for $4k but Doug was able to use a remodel plate and get the leak fixed for around $1k. Give that man a raise!

Our A-coil was freezing up. Matthew did a thorough job of finding the problem and offering two solutions and explained both in detail. Because of the cost of the repair to an 18 year old system we chose to replace. Mitch and Wayne performed the install and explained all of the new features. We noticed our air purifier was not working shortly after they left and they came back and fixed the problem immediately. The best part was they cleaned up after themselves, that I couldn’t even tell they were here. I would highly recommend aksarben ARS.

The company was very responsive to my slight emergency situation. The technician thoroughly researched the issue and its cause. He then discussed his findings. He told me what needed immediate attention and what should be addressed over the next 6 to 12 months. Lucas McCain came out and fixed 3 of my mini splits. They were leaking and spewing debris and he drained/cleaned them all, as well as telling me how to prevent it in the future. He was super quick, professional, and clear as to what the issue was. Additionally, he came at a very convenient time, and was super polite and easy to work with for a great price. Couldn’t have asked for a better service!

Do not use Aksarben unless you like getting ripped off! I had a home service plan with them for 5+ years and they recently did furnace maintenance/inspection. During this, the tech claimed they found several problems and said I should get my furnace replaced. They then sent a sales person to try to sell me a new furnace for almost $9500. I had two other HVAC companies out to verify what Aksarben found and both said there is actually nothing wrong with my furnace and that there is no reason to replace it (my furnace is ~13 years old). They also pointed out the Aksarben tech didn't even do what they claimed to do (the flame sensor was not clean and that was specifically listed on the maintenance tasks performed).Aksarben also did something similar with a plumbing issue a few years ago. They recommended thousands of dollars of plumbing repair/addition for what turned out to be a $100ish fix. Other issues I have had with Aksarben is they always try to sell you on unnecessary extras, even when you have a home service plan with them. They are consistently more expensive than everywhere else as well.I highly recommend avoiding Aksarben at all costs!

My wife and I have been using Aksarben ARS for years. They are very knowledgeable and professional everytime they come out and this time was no exception. We scheduled our yearly a/c check-up on the Saturday after getting new siding installed on our house thinking that they would be done by then. Well, they didn't get started on the siding until Wednesday and it rained on Friday. So by Saturday, all the siding was up, but they still needed to put up the facia all around the house and do finishing touches etc. When Noah showed up from Aksarben, I explained what was going on to see if he wanted to give it a try, or not. He suggested that he could do his other appointments first, then come back later. That worked out perfect. The siding guys were just finishing up when Noah got here. He was very professional, thorough and knowledgeable. He explained in detail one item in my system that was ok for this season, but next year will probably need to replace it. So there will be no surprises next year. Thank Noah and Aksarben ARS for another job well done.

I found that everyone of the staff that I worked with were polite and curious. They answered all of my questions as they came up. They were all very hard workers, completing our installation very quickly but without seeming to do less quality of work than expected. Everything was tested and explained before they left. I feel secure in operating my new furnace, air conditioner and our awesome, tankless water heater.Also, I feel that David Ross did a fantastic job of getting us the best price he could on everything we chose to go with!

Mike came out and looked over our furnace after it broke down, he evaluated the system and gave me an honest assessment on repair vs. replace options. Was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional.

If I could go with less than 1 star, I would. Not only did they fail to fix my mother's bathroom problem the first time they were out, but they did not fix it again the second time they were out. In fact it became worse over the next few days. In addition they tried to sell us a new stool claiming it was the cause. It was not. The new plumbing company that came out had the problem fixed in 40 minutes. And unlike Aksarben, they will warranty their work. I would never recommend Aksarben to anyone.

Excellent, responsive, timely and friendly service. It was easy to talk with a live person when we needed immediate help and get someone to repair our malfunctioning furnace on a Saturday. Service fee was reasonable compared to others. Service technician was friendly and efficient. He repaired the problem without spending undue time in the house and didn’t overcharge us whatsoever. Very satisfied with our first experience with Aksarben.

This is a review for a Rheem Water Heater. I called Home Depot to have someone visit with me about purchasing a hot water heater. Brian Foley came over and was very courteous, knowledgeable, and extremely comfortable to visit with. He answered all my questions professionally and explained everything clearly that I could understand. Tyler Welborn came a few days later to remove the old hot water heater which was not an easy process. He requested another person to help him remove the complete doorway. I’m sorry I cannot remember his name, but both Tyler and the mystery guy were very friendly and professional. They were very concerned to not damage the floors in my condo. They expressed numerous times they wanted to be sure everything was going smoothly with my approval. Mystery guy had to unattach my cable wires to remove the old hot water heater and promptly reattached the wires after the completion. I would not have the knowledge to do that and I am extremely pleased with his courtesy to make sure that was completed. During the removal process, Brian returned to see how things were processing and to check if I had any questions. I’ve never had the sales rep drop in to see how everything was going. Kudos to him. He assured me he would have someone make sure the doorway was replaced correctly. After the old hot water heater was removed, mystery guy and Brian left for Tyler to install the new hot water heater. Brian asked if he could listen to music while he worked. I was glad to hear he enjoyed Classical Rock...my favorite. He completed the job and did a thorough clean up. You would not have known three men were there working. I know your reading this and thinking what is the big deal. I live in a condo and in a very small closet holds the heater, air conditioner, and hot water heater. The heater and air conditioner are on top of a shelf with the hot water heater under the shelf. It is an extremely small area to work in. And Tyler demonstrated perseverance with his ability to complete the back aching job to install my hot water heater. I am extremely grateful for all three men for their dedication to do a great job. Thank you Home Depot for sending Aksarben ARS and for their dedication to train their licensed plumbers to understand they are in my home to be courteous and respectful for my property. I would definitely recommend Home Depot and Aksarben ARS to install a new hot water heater. Hopefully the hot water heater will work smoothly for the next 10-15 years. Since the Rheem Hot Water Heater was just installed, I can’t evaluate how well it works yet. I will revisit and let you know if I have any problems.

Purchased a water heater. Horrible from the moment installed. Paid $1785 for a 40 gallon. The computer burnt up with in a year and they charged me $550 to put a year computer in (that they didn't have in stock). When they came to replace the computer there service tech asked me who put it in, because there is a gas leak. Be careful the products they install they don't stand behind.One positive they were always quick.

Jose was courteous and seemed to be thorough in his inspection of our unit. When he found something needing repair, he checked first to see if the part was under warranty, to ensure we received the best deal. I recommend him for others.

I called Aksarben ARS on Friday morning after noticing a problem with our heat and had the pleasure of chatting with Morgan Kusy as I set up a timeframe for a technician to come check it out. Eric Sandoval was our technician and arrived later that day, at the time agreed upon. Eric is a very friendly and personable man. It felt like we had called a friend to come fix our furnace. The entire time he was working, he was also talking with us and answering our questions (as well as our 3 year old son's questions, who was very interested in what he was doing). Our furnace has been working wonderfully since Eric fixed it, better than it ever has in the 2 years of owning our home.Thank you, Eric! :)

Had service to my house the same day I brought my newborn home. Heat went out while we were at the hospital. Unfortunately my furnace was going bad and had multiple issues. Mike got my heat working but informed me I'd need a new furnace to save frustration over the long haul. Two days later, got it replaced in half a day. Much like you, I turned to the internet to find a heating and cooling company with great reviews. One of the best reviewed companies was Aksarben Heating and Cooling. Following is my experience with this organization.I own a rental property. My tenant’s heat was registering 50 degrees on an extremely cold day. We contacted Aksarben and we were pleased that they could fit us in to their schedule, as I’m sure many people were having issues. They came out and identified the issue and corrected it. They then asked if they could pull the heat exchanger to take a closer look. As it would be no additional cost, I told them to go ahead. After pulling this part, they proceeded to tell me that there was a ‘breach’ that could potentially leak carbon monoxide. They gave me my options - $790 to repair the part or $1,700 to repair and service a few other items. They then proceed to tell me they cannot turn the furnace back on, and that if I wanted it back on, I would have to sign a consent form absolving them of any liabilities should something go drastically wrong. They then fixated on that $1,700 figure and started to persuade me to consider purchasing a new furnace instead, because the unit was already 10 years old and we would more than likely see additional issues with this furnace. They had their sales person contact us. He told us our cheapest option would be installation of an 80% efficient furnace for $4,300. They also had a deal going on, buy a new air conditioner, get a furnace for free which amounted to $6,100. At this point, my wife and I are numb. We cannot believe what is happening. Realizing that our house is 10 years old, and yes the AC may go too, we decide to accept the offer. They proceed to schedule us for 3 days out. So now our tenants have to live with portable heaters for the next 3 days and pray the pipes don’t freeze. After talking to some of our associates in the business, we are told that $4,300 is relatively high and we should check out other options, which we did. We were able to contact another outfit who came to the property the very next morning, immediately retrieved a replacement heat exchanger, installed it, and had our heat running by noon, safely…for $387!My personal opinion is that Aksarben is an outfit just like everyone else, trying to make the most money with their products and service. What was disappointing to me is that I felt that my fears nearly caused me to spend $6,100 unnecessarily. And I sensed that Aksarben realizes this and takes advantage of it to make a sale.My suggestion is to get a second opinion. Take a step back, make a few calls, it may end up costing you a tenth of what Aksarben talks you into.

Everyone we were in contact with was wonderful. The installers, Lucas and Anthony, were knowledgeable and thorough, they also were very personable and friendly. My two dogs especially my puppy thought Anthony was his playmate.

Quick and easy! Our hot water heater went out over the Labor Day weekend. After 3 days of cold showers we were anxious to get the tank replaced asap. I called Tuesday morning at 8:00. The Aksarben representative was here by 10:30, and my new hot water tank was completely installed by 2:30. All representatives of the company were pleasant, polite, and knowledgeable of the product. Great experience with a wonderful product. Highly recommend!

Furnace was leaking air pretty badly. They also cut the wire to my doorbell which is a camera. Fixed both issues myself but never did hear back after leaving a message with my salesperson.

I had a furnace completely go out leaving the residence freezing. They came out, gave an estimate and was scheduled to do an installation the next day. Worked through a couple of installation issues at the home with no problems and completed the installation safely and efficiently. Would definitely use their services again.

Tech was very polite and professional got the job done quickly Even went above and beyond to attach my loose thermostat.

Had them come out to inspect the AC at my mother’s home. Already told them it was low on freon. $116 later for a service call they told me there was multiple things wrong with it and for peace of mind, with an elderly parent, they suggested spending thousands and replacing it with a new unit. He said replacing the freon alone in the old unit would be $1400! Got a second opinion from another company, guy found the freon leak and repaired it in 30 minutes. Cost, $250. Pays to shop around. Stay away from companies like this!!

Eric, Tom, Tim & Anthony all did an excellent job. Very courteous and professional.Eric came out 8:00 am on a Sunday morning and diagnosed our furnace and advised us to replace the HVAC system.Tom came out and provided us with several detailed options for a new system.Tim and Anthony had a new system installed the next afternoon.We had to leave before they were finished and they cleaned up so well, it looked as if they had never been there.I would highly recommend Aksarben ARS to anyone.

Marion at ARS went above and beyond his job and really helped me understand the plumbing issue, process and gave me lots of great advice for good plumbing tips ! We had Brian from Askarben come out today to check our HVAC unit for a house we just bought earlier this year that's a bit older. We originally were referred to this service by Home Depot as well.He did an inspection and recommended to replace the unit since our unit is older (2006) so we are looking into considering having the same company help us buy a new unit with a payment plan.Overall great experience, and great HVAC tech.

Lucas MaCain was very professional. He explained everything for me to understand. I take care of my 89 yr old father and my heat wasn’t working. He showed up on time and completed the repair and maintenance professionally. He even helped me set up my nest thermostat which the settings were wrong and I didn’t understand how to do. I’m very grateful for his service!!!

Called them to look at HVAC because it would not turn on. Had a contractor come out and “work” for three hours to locate the short. About 45 minutes into the diagnostic he clearly gave up and was not interested in fixing the problem and suggested I buy a whole new system after making multiple comments about how bad it looks,which by the way was $8,000 for a 14 seer system. Wrote up an estimate to replace a capacitor and a few other components as well as replace the fan blade because some bolts stuck out too high that I guess were a hazard to my children for just shy of $1,500 and left after “jerry rigging” my AC to keep it running for a bit, which it died shortly after he left and charged me $300 for the call and did not apply $50 off that’s listed on website. No surprise though he didn’t fix anything and Not sure what that meant but good news my house didn’t burn down. Long story short had another contractor come and in replaced the parts and fixed everything on Aksarbens $1,500 list and found that everything else looked fine for 1/3 of the price and in less time than their guy showed up to do nothing and that’s after a generous tip for doing a great job and fast. You win Aksarben I promise not to call ever again but I will tell my worst enemies to use you.

Friendly, and thorough. The technician quietly performed his tests and completed his inspection and provided me with a visual summary of the system and results. He also discussed preventative measures to take on dampeners and filter changes. I appreciate the advice.

I worked with three separate specialists, Mike in repair, Andy in consulting on options, and Mitch in installation. These three gentlemen were very professional, knowledgeable and very helpful. As a new resident to Omaha, this team gave me great confidence that all repairs and installations would be up to code. I was offered a number of options for repair and replacement and given pros and cons of all options. Without hesitation I highly recommend this company and their team to everyone. Also, I was without heat and they made me a priority! They rock!!

Jason Wasmund was an excellent service professional. He diagnosed the problem and was able to get the part under warranty which saved us around $400. His installation was very professional and had an excellent customer relations attitude! Would invite him back any time!!!

I can not say enough praise for Marion #316 . We had a pipe back up last week, I called late in the day and Marion came out during the late hours . He stayed for hours doing everything he could to fix our issues. He then returned twice this week to ensure everything was perfect for us. You just don’t find that kind of service and care these days. We have always called Aksarben for all our homes needs and will absolutely continue using them in the future. Asking for Marion each time!!!!!!

Called them out last fall about this time as my furnace would not kick on. Repairman cleaned everything and told me to us a different air filter. When I went to get my checkbook he found a possible leak in my gas valve and quoted me to replace. When I called to tell him it should be under warranty I never heard back from him so he never came back to replace. Same problem on New Years Eve and another tech came out. He cleaned the same thing and then proceeded to tell me the blower was going bad. I asked him about the gas valve and he said there was no problem there. He said the same thing about using the cheap air filters! When I informed him the blower would be under warranty once again I never heard back from him nor did he come back to replace.

I was very pleased with Brian (Rhodes) who came out to do the routine maintenance on my furnace today. He was friendly and knew what he was doing. He took his time checking the furnace and explaining the parts that needed to be fixed and replaced. He had to replace a burnt UV ray device and a bad USM surge protector. He also suggested and installed an AC surge protector to fully protect the unit from power surges. Thank you, Brian, for the job well done!

Sewer line backed up when I ran the washing machine last night. Sewage everywhere.. Called them at 840am the next morning panicking because we couldn't go very long without needing to use the restroom. Sam was at our house before 10am and called another person for help as it became a 2 person job. The men fixed the problem for less than they quoted and explained what changes we needed to make to avoid this problem in the future. Even gave us a card for a company to do clean-up. 5 stars all the way!

Had to replace furnace, ac, water heater (being done in 9-1-21). Both installation techs were very professional, courteous, respectful and great sense of humor.

My technician , Eric S was thorough in checking my furnace functionality... discovering that my furnace humidifier was not working properly as well and preceded to fix it. I was able to ask questions for better understanding of repair needed.

Philip came to do a A/C tune up and he spent a good amount of time checking my equipment. He also listened careful to my concerns about it and found out what was the problem. I was concern about Covid and he was very respectful of the spaces where he was at the house, as I asked him. He used a face mask, gloves, sanitizer multiple times and disposable new boots while in my house. He tried to keep social distance as much as it was possible. He is outstanding. A very respectful person. I will keep asking for him for future furnace/ac maintenance.

Aksarben installed a new HVAC system and I had a few issues with the install. I really dislike dealing with contractors but this was actually one of the best experiences I've had. They went above and beyond to make everything right and I couldn't be happier with their finished work.Also, HVAC systems were starting to fail all over my condominium and replacement systems were being recommended and installed by a variety of contractors, so the reviews stating Aksarben is only out to up-sell systems are false.

Jake was very kind and explained what the process would be to identify the problem. He allowed me to see the video of our line while he was inspecting it and explained each step of the way how he was resolving our issue. I would use them again in a heartbeat!

I can't thank Aksarban ARS enough for their wonderful customer service. We scheduled our annual fall check-up on a Friday and discovered our 22 year-old furnace was showing signs of needing to be replaced in the near future. We decided to replace it now rather than waiting until it died. Aksarban's install manager Jacob Neiman came by the next day (early Saturday morning) to assess what we'd need and within an hour we had a quote and a Tuesday morning install appointment. The install was done in less than 4 hours and the install technician Lucas was friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely thorough. We now have a brand new variable speed Rheem furnace with a smart interface we can control from our phones if we choose. It's awesome! Everything about the process was fast and professional. I highly recommend Aksarban ARS. They took great care of us.

Used Akasarben for over 3 years, and was a part of their maintenance plan for $24.08 a month. We no longer needed this service, so I called and cancelled this in July. Since then I’ve been charged for August, September and now October. When I called in September I was told this was taken care of and that I’d be refunded the 2 months I was wrongly charged. Nope! I have yet to be refunded and instead I was charged another month. Poor quality customer service. I highly recommend NOT getting on their maintenance plan, not worth the money or the hassle. I’d hate to have to cancel my card I have on file with them to stop these charges but at this rate it’s awfully tempting- although ridiculous.
