Major Drain

Ive been using Major Drain for 5 plus years! There's not enough words to describe how much I love Major Drain. I've used major drain for my current house and the last house I've owned. Major Drain is always very responsive, get things done in a timely manner, do great quality work and most of all communicates! They're always great about explaining what needs done and provide solutions/suggestions to help prevent issues in the future. From management all the way down to the amazing lady handling the phones they're rocking it! This review is long overdue!

When he first arrived toilet was back to working normal under low use. Instead of just leaving he tested then and sure enough they started to back up once again. Fixed the problem in a timely manor. Cleaned up nicely. Thank you.

I paid for a clients line to be hydro jetted to get the tree roots cleared out after their home purchase. I was very impressed with the use of the camera. It was so nice to see the before, during and after video to prove that they did a job well done! Our technician was Ryan Lichter and I was very happy with his professionalism and thoroughness! He was also very nice and polite. I was also happy that they charge by the quarter hour and did not try to upcharge me or charge exorbitant rates like some other companies quoted. I will use them again for any future real estate transactions, to protect my clients best interests.

Always a professional experience. I love that they really tell me what's going on, and a ball park number of what needs to be fixed or what will need fixed in the future.

They were on time and professional. It was after hours and a clogged sewer was backing up into our basement. The technician found the problem and resolved it quickly. Chad quickly found & resolved main drain problem and shared what he did and how he checked that the clog was clear by pouring gallons of water into the drain with no issues. There were some serious logistical issues with replacing our hot water heater (thanks Celebrity Homes for making it impossible to replace it without moving your furnace) but they went above and beyond to resolve the issue for us and at a minimal cost. The gentleman that came to my house cleaned out the clog efficiently and politely and they were super-fast at making the appointment (I called and they were there in 45 minutes). However, the gentleman did not account for the large amount of backlogged black sludge that would spray out in a 6 foot diameter all over my basement (including carpet and appliances). I think I paid for about 30 minutes of drain opening and 2 hours of cleaning up. It seemed some preventative draping could have saved time and a necessary professional carpet cleaning.

They installed a new hot water heater and made the process very easy

I couldn’t have been happier with my service. I had a clogged sink drain and called at around 3:30 pm on a Friday. They sent someone out the next day at 11:00 AM. The tech was on time, diagnosed the problem quickly, and got the drain working again in no time.They did not charge me any extra for coming out on a weekend.I will definitely be using Major Drain again.

Shawn and JJ recently did work at our house. They fixed a leaking pipe, cleared a drain, and replaced our water heater. They did great work and finished in a timely manner. Shawn even came back later that night when I was having troubles with my furnace to make sure everything looked alright after the water heater install.

Was told it would be 89 dollars then he hit me with a fuel surcharge because he drives around in an escalade with a trailer.. ended up being like 110 dollars. Drain still workig great years later. Workman ship great honesty in pricing not there.

Arrived on time. Able to easily and quickly identify and fix the issues we had with slow moving drains in two sinks and a bathtub.Appointment was easy to book. Email invoice sent after work was completed. Everything was really efficient and easy.

The technician, Nate, was at my home quickly. He was very knowledgable, troubleshooted the situation (both toilets blocked) and fixed it. He kept me informed each step of the way, he was efficient ,cleaned after himself, I was very happy with the tech and the service. The price was well within my comfort level.

Brent was very professional - called before arriving promptly, explained the process, set up and initiated the clean-out, described what he was finding, finished the process and cleaned up. No surprises on fees - an advantage of Major Drain is that they charge by the hour, rather than sending out a tech who provides an estimate after arriving. Repeat satisfied customer.

VERY helpful! I have called them 3 times all when it was critical and they have done a great job. We have tree roots through our main drains and they do a great job of removing them. I called when I got home at 4:30pm and someone was here by 5pm and what seemed like a big job to me was finished by 6:15pm.

Had to have my main line snaked. Called at 8 am and they arrived by 1030. The gentleman was very professional and completed the work within an hour! Would definitely recommend to anyone who is needing this done!!

This company provides excellent service. My water heater was leaking and it was still covered under my home warranty policy. I contacted them and they authorized Major Drain to provide the service. They concluded the water heater needed to be replaced and returned for a 2nd appointment to replace it. They also diagnosed that the floor drain was clogged and the owner, Brent, called the warranty company and was able to have that covered under the same service at no additional cost to me. On each occasion they arrived promptly, their techs were very polite and respectful, provided the service quickly, and cleaned up thoroughly when finished. This is a family-operated business and I highly recommend them to anyone.

The plumber that came out was more genuine and well-informed than anyone else I have worked with in Omaha. He told us about hydrojet for clearing our main line of tree roots, which will probably save us 700 bucks a year and prevent the basement drain from backing up. Definitely will have them out again.

The receptionist was rude to me when I called in today for them to fix something. She told me their rates and I said “Oh, I think I know somewhere else that can do it cheaper.”“Well, you should call THEM then,” she snapped back.“Ok...” I started to answer, and then she hung up before I could say anything else.That didn’t seem very wise to me. She could have taken the opportunity to point out some reason why they are really good and deserve that much money, or at least ended the conversation on a better note. It is also a Saturday, so not a lot of places are open, and we ended up going with someone who charged even HIGHER rates, so hearing Major Drain’s price wouldn’t have been a dealbreaker for us after all.

Saving grace. I called them at 8:30 and by 11:30 they had someone at my house. I have cameras all over my house and I not only heard the tech talking to my puppy but playing with her as well to calm her down. I had BURTON PLUMBING out to my house and they did not want to try cleaning, but they wanted to sell me a $14,500 new sewer line. Burton plumbing is all commission. Major drain actually cares and is honest. They maybe smaller then a lot of other companies but at least they can sleep at night. Burton plumbing had me scared, and major drain came to the rescue

Please never use Major Drain plumbing service. We had them do some work for us a few weeks ago, and I had to call them again tonight for the same issue. Brent was extremely rude and would not stop interrupting me. When I told him this he laughed, so I then informed him that we would be using a different company. He then started cursing at me using the f- bomb multiple times. Absolutely unacceptable behavior from a so called professional to a customer. If I could give zero stars to that clown, I would.You are an absolute liar and I will be contacting the BBB. You were very short with me from the beginning and very defensive. You kept saying you guys did the job right when I had never said you did it wrong in the first place. After being interrupted multiple times, I completely stopped talking. When you asked if I was still there, and I told you that I was, but you kept interrupting me, you laughed and said, okay? So I told you to forget it, we would just use a different company. Never did I curse until you said, Fu@k you, motherfu@ker. I do not call people up and curse at them. You can go on and on about your 5 star ratings, but this is exactly what happened. I obviously don't expect you to admit it, but you should at least have the decency to ignore my review instead of lying about it in your response.

Major Drain as a company has been great at helping us navigate our plumbing issues. JJ specifically is truly such a wonderful guy. Explained everything that was happening and what he could do to fix the problem. Very easy to talk to and professional. Would recommend 100 times over.

Basement floor drain was clogged, minor flooding in basement. Made an appointment no-line through American Home Shield. They called back within two hours (this was on a Sunday afternoon), and the plumber was here 20 minutes later.It did not take too long to clear the clog, and he 'load tested' the drain for some time to make sure it was running freely.At all times, everyone I spoke to or worked with was friendly and professional. The plumber himself was careful, and used a side door to help keep the main floor clean (although it is hardwood and I told him using the front was OK).Absolutely happy with all aspects of this service!

The plumber was friendly and professional. It did take almost 2 hours to unclog the drain and it was $140. Seemed a bit high, but he did do a good job and it was a difficult clog but he did end up fixing the problem. It’s great that they are available past 5pm to come out!! They were also able to get me a same-day appointment. I would use this company again.

Left a splattery mess all over the floor, cut the drain pipe when they could not get the cleanout open, left the clog they pulled out of the drain on the floor.

Major Drain did great quality work. My kitchen sink would not drain and I couldn’t fix it with my own snake. I called Major Drain and they came the same day and cleared the clogged line. It took less than 1hr and was priced very fairly. The technician was very respectful and professional. I would recommend them to anyone and will use them again in the future.

We called on Saturday morning, and they were at our house within a few hours. No extra charges for coming over on the weekend. I will add them to my list for people I will use again.

Even though things didn't go our way (hoped for a bad clog, but it was a broken main line to the septic), these guys provided great value. The previous company wanted a ton of money just to pull a toilet and put a camera in (so the price didn't include a fix). These guys did all that, grabbed the locator, marked the clog outside, came back in, made a run at the clog, couldn't reach it--which is how they found the main drain break, grabbed the camera, and located that too. They set us up with an estimate for the main repair too. So not happy about the cost of the repairs (not their fault), but we got all that for $150 less than another company's cost just to admire the problem through a camera.

I have had your service for three different problems. Each time Roger Cherry did a super job, he is very professional, nice, and when I thought that I needed a new water heater, he told me that I did not need a new one, that all I needed was a small job. He saved me over $800.00! Now that is something!!! I will highly recommend your company!

Unbelievable. I called in the morning and Sean was at my house early afternoon. He did an outstanding job cleaning out a plugged up driveway drain. The next day a severe t-storm blew into down, bringing torrential downpour. Usually this meant a pond in my driveway. Not this time! The drain worked perfectly - Sean saved the day!

Showed up quickly, on Christmas day, got our drain unclogged, and although there was a Holiday Fee they did not gouge us.

We needed a sewer line video recorded to find its location and what was a reoccurring problem.

I recently had a service provided improperly. It caused other drainage issues. I was told by a customer service representative that I was wrong. So I opened my own plumbing and solved the issue their tech created. I will never use this company again. Not only because the price of the service for the work being done wrong, but because I was insulted after spending years in the industry. I'll just do it myself next timeEdit: to address your follow-up: this is not the only time your company has charged me for a tech to come to my home and not complete the service I requested.I also do not use my real name online, ever.I work 10-12 hours a day, 5-7 days a week. After having a different company spend over 6 hours at my house trying to unclog the kitchen sink they told me it would have to be hydro-jetted at a cost of $1450.00, I called Major Drain and the lady on the phone (I can't recall her name) was extremely knowledgeable and said she was confident it didn't need to be jetted after I explained the situation. A few hours later Ryan showed up on time and was in and out of my house in an hour, and he only had to use the snake at a cost of just under $140.00. Ryan was extremely professional and genuinely a nice person, Major Drain is now saved in my phone and will get all of my plumbing business going forward.

Quick and reliable service. We have used them for years and never disappointed.

We ended up having to call Major Drain on Easter Sunday afternoon. They came out immediately and had the problem fixed (snaked our main line) in less than an hour - they even managed to get cleaned up and out of the house before our dinner guests arrived! Brent showed up actually a bit early. He asked a few questions then got to work. He reassured us that the clog was caused by many years of use and not the previous night's dinner. He tested the drain after cleaning it and made sure it worked well. The price was very reasonable. We will keep his card and use them again IF we need to which we hope we don't!

Technician couldn't replicate the clog by running all the faucets so he charged $50 for doing nothing.

Honest, experienced company here. They actually cleaned our drainage system and verified all the way out that we did not have other areas of concern out to the street. I called on a Sunday evening for a rental property of mine. The floor and shower drain in the basement was backing up. When I arrived to the home to meet the technician he was packing up and had the drains cleared and situation resolved. The cost for coming out on a Sunday evening was very competitive, and I had no problem paying for the weekend rate as these technicians and business owners were taking time out of their weekend to resolve the issue.I have also used this company when I purchased the home to hydro-blast the main sewer drain out to the street and remove root penetrations. Very reasonable and showed me a video of what the process consisted of.I own a company in the service industry and this is how service should be performed.

The main drain backed up and flooded my basement. It was a Saturday, they got there sooner than expected. It took a couple hours to get it totally cleaned out. Put something down drain to kill tree roots. Very fairly priced. Will definitely use them again.

Major Drain was able to get someone out for an emergency job for us quickly over a holiday weekend. They were able to quickly diagnose the issue and get it resolved, and for much less than we'd expected.Our only complains is that the snake had been run over carpet without towels or tarps, and the carpet got rather soaked when the snake was pulled.

Jane answered my call after 1 ring, I scheduled my faucet cartridge replacement service with her. We arranged to have a tech out the next afternoon for the service. She called me a few hours prior to the service on that day and asked if someone was available to let the tech in early? It turns out someone was available so he came by, had the faucet cartridge replacement done in about 15 minutes and it was a job well done.

Major Drain is great! This is not my first great experience with them but I won't go anywhere else from now on. I made the mistake of having another company (Burton) come out due to a clogged drain because they had sooner availability. Not only did they charge me more than twice as much as Major Drain would have they tired to tell me my mainline needed major repairs for between 6-18K.Luckily I had Major Drain come out for a second opinion. They informed me that my main line could use a cleaning and I am getting this scheduled. The whole cleaning and some additional pipe cleaning is only going to cost me what I paid to have the other company try to scam me. I learned my lesson, next time I will wait for Major Drain a company I can trust!

Roto Ruter brock my drain then misted tow appointment.They also sent a Plummer late with no parts that could not do the job and rounded my computer.Majore Drain was there on time got the parts did it in about 3-4 hours at half the cost.So don't ever call Roto Ruter out of Chicago.Only use locals.Majore Drain was very very good and ccw . 2 weeks into happy homeownership and our drain backed up. The panic set in. I called Major Drain, and Brent reassured me everything would be just fine and they would be out to fix this. He explained that the technician may not be able to make it until after hours, and if that was the case what the cost would be. He again told me that he was confident they could fix it. used Major Drain before they have always been honest and clear about what needs to be done and how much it will be. They found the crack in our sewer main but could not do the job because it was so deep underground. They referred us to another company that was able to do the job. We've used them multiple times this year and we've been using them for years. We typically like them and they're almost always great. Well, that entire experience changed as we just had an emergency on 2/23/22 and were told by the receptionist they do not have emergency hours or rates even though I'm pretty sure we had used their emergency after hours service a couple years ago. We had a leak that needed looked into and couldn't figure out where the leak was coming from. She gave us the soonest time of 2 weeks which is about the same appointment time frame was for just standard week like we had 3 weeks ago. Emergencies are not the same as standard work. She also couldn't give any recommendations as to who would do emergency work.Major Drain is a great plumber as long as you do not have emergencies. BEWARE, they do NOT have emergency services.

TL;DR: Plumber claimed he could not unclog toilet drain w/out taking off toilet which caused a ton of water/sewage to go all over bathroom and into the basement onto TV & electronics. Only one tool was used and it seemed amateur/rushed.The whole story:Had a plumber from Major Drain come out to look at a backed up/clogged toilet. After about 30-45 minutes of him trying to clear it with an auger (which he scratched the toilet with), he informed me he needed to take off the toilet to clear the pipe. He asked me to grab a few towels which I did. He did not take the time to think about what was below the pipe (which he had already been in the basement and seen the pipes) before taking the toilet off. As he took it off, a lot of water and sewage came up and leaked through to the basement right onto our electronics: TV, receiver, speakers, etc. Fortunately, I was able to quickly move them before a lot got on them. He informed me that the only other option was to go onto the snowy roof and go through the vent on the roof. I then had to spend about 8-12 hours cleaning, ripping out carpet, and overall having a bad time.My take on this is that he was any/all of: an amateur, didn't have the right tools for the job, or rushed.The reason you pay a professional is to avoid having a situation like we had and I was not pleased with the level of effort/care to prevent the mess that was made.

Our main waste line from our house was blocked up. MD showed up on time & got right to work. They had everything cleared out of the pipe all the way to street in under an hour and restored full use of water in our house in no time. They were on time, did the job well, & very courteous. I highly recommend MD for any back up issues.

Kudos for sticking to it. I had a seats and springs issue. We used my parts I had. There were 2 faucets that needed them but only had time for 1 faucet fix as it took a bit longer than expected and he had other appointments. After 2 hours of trying myself I gave up. 130.00 should have been enough to put 2 in but at least the tub is now usable. Thank you. Rich Fabian.

Started my day Sunday with drains backing up in the basement after doing a load of laundry. They returned my call within an hour and scheduled me later the same day. I wish I could remember the gentleman’s name that came out, he made it out earlier than expected was friendly and courteous, answered all my questions and the clog was fixed in just over an hour. These guys were a breath of fresh air. My bath/toilet drains were blocked, and I called Burton prior to calling Major Drain: They walked through the house and talked at me for 90 minutes about all my options, (ranging from $350 to $1200 + monthly membership fee haha). They insisted on a $250 toilet removal fee and had no way of removing the fee if I popped it myself, so I kicked them out. Complete waste of time. Then I called Major Drain. They showed up on time, decided on a course of action in 5 minutes, and unclogged the drain within 20 minutes. All at a fair price. Awesome. 10/10 would call again.

Great job replacing a broken kitchen faucet. They arrived within 2 hours of my phone call, replaced the faucet, tested to make sure there were no leaks, ensured reverse osmosis system was back in working order, and explained how to remove the hose aerator filter for cleaning. Called out major drain for a backed up drain. They ended up replacing part of the line. First guy that came out wasn't the friendliest but got the job done quickly. I was a little surprised too he left my basement a bit of a mess. Unfortunately, couple hours after he left the line was leaking again. Called Major Drain back and sent someone else the second time, he was very friendly and quick. He was thorough and did a good job to make sure it wasn't going to leak again. He also cleaned up the trash the first one left. After the first plumber, I would have said I wouldn't consider Major Drain again, but the second one made up for the first; just disappointed I had to spend the time calling and getting them out for a second time.

After a shower yesterday morning, I found water starting to flood my utility room. I asked a friend who said his buddy at Prestige Plumbing always recommended Major Drain for these types of problems. I called and they scheduled a tech to come out at my convenience which happened to be 7:30 last night. It turns out the tech, who was there right on time, was co-owner Shawn Lee. Very nice guy and he had our main drain cleared in no time, and I have to add, at an extremely reasonable price, even with the added evening surcharge. They have a new customer for life! It is understandable why they have so many good reviews. It's because they deserve them.

Did what we had initially paid another plumber to do, for half the price and done right. Would definitely rehire and recommend to friends and family.

Had an issue with a clogged kitchen sink before Easter. Well, let me explain that my wife wasn't a happy camper as dinner had to be made for the family and she wasn't willing to listen to excuses. Had a friend introduce us to Major Drain and spoke with Tina. She did her thing and got Chad out on Thursday. It took all of 30 minutes and Chad had it running like rain again. Chad had a great attitude and a hard and fast worker. The bill was reasonable and I was impressed. I put put Major Drain in the phone for easy access. Looks like a good company with the right attitude. It's good to see.

We had a major drain backup in the laundry room. We had another company come look at it, and they tried to up-sell a bunch of services we really didn't need. I then called Major Drain and they had someone out that day by 1:00 (on a Saturday). They fixed the problem for a very reasonable fee and we are good as new. When our secondary drain (laundry/kitchen) continued to run slower than usual, we called a drain cleaning company, well-known in the Omaha area. The company’s technician, after working for 2 hours, told us that the pipe was probably broken or collapsed below our basement floor, charged us $177, and said that his supervisor would call us the next day. The drain that had been slow before was now totally plugged. The supervisor who called us the next day said he would charge us $85 an hour just to “look at the drain,” and would then scope it for an additional $250. We decided to get a second opinion. We were forced to make a quick decision when just a few days later our main drain plugged and flooded our basement.After researching various companies through their websites and customer reviews, we decided to call Major Drain. They arrived the same day that we called, quickly fixed the main drain, and began working on the secondary drain. Within two hours, they had cleared that drain as well. The pipes were not broken. Major Drain solved the problem that had eluded every other company we had used over the years by discovering that our secondary drain was much longer than anyone could have expected. The bill was only $272, and when Major Drain left, the problems were solved. For the first time in over 20 years of living in our older home, all of our drains are now unobstructed and fast. Major Drain is a terrific company to which we would give our highest recommendation for anyone with problem drains.

We had a leak from one of the pipes and a toilet that would run once in a while. Major Drain was upfront about the cost and how long it would take to fix the problem. In the end, the job took less time which resulted in a smaller bill. We would recommend Major Drain and will call them again for our future plumbing needs.

Chad got the job done fast and also saved us money by checking the ptrap first in our kitchen sink at a rental property I own vs just cabling right off the bat. Great service and great price so will definitely use them again in the future.

My main basement drain started backing up late Thursday night. I was recommended by a friend to contact them as they do work for our business. I called about 10am Friday and had an appointment at 12:00pm. WOW. Quick! Tyrone and John let me know 15 minutes out of their arrival and they were friendly, and got right down to business. They diagnosed, explained my options, and remedied the problem quickly. They found that a clean out pipe had never been accessed before (even though I had a different company hour just a year prior for a back up). They opened up a hole in the wall to access it and cleaned out decades worth of crud out of it. They let me know where I could find a door to purchase and cover the valve. Now, it will be easily accessible in the future. They cleaned up after they left, which is always appreciated. I am very pleased with my experience. I highly recommend them! They earned a new customer for the future!

Got the drain cleared but tech got the auger stuck and had to call his boss to come in and get it unstuck then charged us for a second guy. Then left a mess that needed cleaned up.

I needed a kitchen faucet replaced as well as the angle stop. Roger did the job in a short amount of time - no issues. :-) He was friendly and courteous, which I have found to be true of all the staff at Major Drain. I have used them several times now and will continue to do so.

Even if they were very pleasant, I unfortunately had to have another plumber come out to clear the line again with a 2nd camera. I gave a glowing review for the first visit and personally liked the Tech. Sadly, things weren't as they seemed. I paid for my main stack/line to be cleared on a Sunday. They pulled debris out that was there for a while and causing the drain to back up. They suggested that I should schedule a camera to see if there was a major problem causing the issue.The camera person came out and was a nice tech as always, unfortunately there was a rush and I was told that the line was collapsed and probably had shifts as they were pulling the camera line very quickly and you could see all of this water everywhere and other trash in the line. They used their device to try to locate the camera outside of my house to where it was in the line. I’d walked outside and he couldn’t locate the camera at all and had to leave for another appointment. A few hours later, the same tech came back with a different camera. He was running around the yard front and back and looked pretty freaked out that he couldn’t locate it again. My Neighbor even mentioned that maybe if he slowed down he’d find what he was looking for since many old neighborhoods have had this problem. After several attempts, he called his manager and they said since it wasn’t locatable they’d have to start at the house and dig it all up to find it. Not only did this freak me out with the cost estimate, but I didn’t have proof of a full collapse and they were guessing on where the camera was in my yard. This didn’t sit well. After I said, so we just leave and dig without finding it. He said I will try it one more time.. and it miraculously popped up and let him locate it. So, he said he found it that it needed replacing and then I paid for the camera service. The next day, I reached out and asked a few questions and requested a copy of the Video that I’d had done. I also talked to the owner going back and forth on his estimate. He was nice and explained things, but the camera experience had me feeling very uneasy especially for this amount of money involved.I sent this video to several people and all of us agreed, the video was a mess filled with debris and inconclusive. It looked like a bad 70’s video with the quality. Seeing that much debris also showed my biggest issue is that the line wasn’t cleared completely the first time for the visit I paid for on a SundayNew plumber arrives with camera out – not only did they show that it was still plugged up and not collapsed, but that it was a shift only. They also took their time, slowly moving camera in and out of stack to get a clear picture. Cleaned out the line and then went back in showed me personally where it started at the City line and slowly went step by step to show me from the city to my house. Then they went to locate the crack in my yard, They walked a snail’s pace, no running/rushing and took their time and I actually could hear the difference in the locator sounds when they found their camera. It was amazing! It was nowhere near where was painted before and sadly it confirmed my uneasy feeling when I went to others for an opinion.This is why the review is what it is, no one should have to pay for multiple visits to only have to do the same thing with another company over after they paid for it. My plumbing is working better now than it was prior to my buying the house. The new plumber cleaned the line completely. I’m having no issues and it’s amazing. They even said the shift and crack may not cause me problems for years and they’d guarantee no issues for 90 days when there is damage to the line since they have that much faith in their work. I liked all the people I worked with at Major Drain and maybe they were having a few off days, but I don’t like to pay for things to be done twice, I cannot recommend at this time.

Major Drain was able to do what the $99 advertised guys couldn't, address my issue! Shawn came onsite, was thorough and resolved the kitchen sink backing up into downstairs bathroom. The whole experience was very positive and 1/2 the cost of the guys who didn't fix the problem.

Exceptional people and top notch work. I highly recommend Major Drain. We had a major main sewer line issue that was not a typical repair. They dug multiple holes to replace sewer lines and installed 4 clean outs. They worked harder than anyone I've seen on numerous days in freezing cold temperatures to fix our problem. They communicated with us every step of the way and worked countless hours to solve our problem as there were multiple challenges. This is the first time I used major drain. They provided exceptional service. Initially I called them because of a slow tub drain at my fourplex. They charged me $139 which was at least $100 under every other company. A few days later we had another drain problem, they came out immediately, fixed the problem and then offered to not charge a separate fee but to charge as one fee for both to give a substantial reduction in price. You can't ask much more from a company. This is almost unheard of in today's market.

This was the second time I have used Major Drain...they are absolutely superb! My main floor drain in the finished basement must have clogged at sometime & the water soaked the carpet. And a ton of carpet I will say! They answered by the second ring on a Saturday and had someone come out Sunday 20 mins before the scheduled appointment time. Chad was able to get our main line unclogged when a plumber from a different company couldn’t. Showed me exactly what was going on. Pipe needs more work in the future for a repair but he was able to explain the issue without fear tactics. Top shelf company all around

My appointment was for 330p when I got home from work. When I arrived home, the company truck was already there waiting for my arrival. Very nice service tech, identified the problem and repaired. The price we paid I thought was very fair. I will use them again.

This experience was amazing! They sent a very knowledgeable technician who went right to work and cleared our drain. He also saved me a few thousand dollars. We had a previous company come out who claimed we had a leak under our foundation and that our basement floor needed to be jackhammered to fix it. Major Drain had no problem getting this done for about 10% of the first quote. No leak found. Major Drain is trustworthy and honest and I would use them again in a heartbeat!

Service this year: Had these folks back again to help me find the shut off valve to my refrigerator - which sprung a soaking leak. They knew what they were looking for and made quick work to stop the flow of water! And they also sent another tech to clear the main floor drain. When it rains it pours - or stops up, as the case may be. Super yucky job! This is an older house so it turned out to be some hard build up and general stoppage. These people are the best in the business and their quality of their work, their attitude, and their pricing all reflect that. Awesome service!! We had the hydojetting service done in our main drain lines. Absolutely amazing job! The technicians Trent and Frank were extremely thorough and showed before, during and after results. Now I can rest assured our basement will be dry and no drain clogs!! Highly recommend these guys. These folks are the best. I would recommend them to anyone. Their prices are also the best that I've seen anywhere.

Our first experience was very good. The second fell a little short. I called and asked for the owner to call to discuss. Two days later I called again. The person who answered the phone said they had sent a receipt with the information I was questioning. Unfortunately, their email went to our Spam folder. And since we were not aware they had sent anything we did not know there had been a response. I would have preferred the owner returned the call as we were told would happen. It would also be helpful if they have people in training, that the person who is supervising identifies themself as being with the company. When he came to the door to check on the individual working on the drain, he asked if there was a problem and started to enter my home without identifying himself as being with the company. It was a bit unsettling. He did not have a uniform or anything that identified he was with the company. I did discuss with the company and hope that this will be addressed going forward. We would use the company again as the concern we had was addressed and rectified.

I've used Major Drain multiple times, both personally and for my handyman clients needing their services. They are prompt, efficient with their time, and reasonably priced.Jane, the office manager is great to work with... she's effective, thorough & personable.

Update 3/2018 I love them even more. Second minor emergency, fast action- toilet overflow to problem fixed and cleaned up? total of three hours. First review 2017- I LOVE Major Drain! I got an estimate from another company for $2100 to replace a water heater and $400 for just a repair. Major Drain offered the replacement for $1200, but DIDN'T go for the up-sell, and told me that they could fix the problem for under $200 because the tank showed no problems. Very helpful about helping me decide between replacing the tank and just doing the repair with absolutely NO PRESSURE.

Very professional and nice. I was kind of clueless as to where they could find the sewer line they were inspecting, but they found it and still came in right at what I had expected to pay from previous conversations.

This company was recommended to us by 2 separate people. We had an emergency drain issue and they answered right away and were able to come out the same day to repair. Very reasonable in cost and helpful that they explained what we could do to help prevent future issues.

Major Drain has solved two drainage problems in timely and cost efficient manner. We had a sewer line clog that two other plumbing companies said that the only fix was line replacement that would cost over $10,000. Major Drain assessed the clog and we're able to clear the pipe. It has remained unclogged for three years. They also opened the washing machine drain using snakes and avoided pipe replacement that would have required opening several walls.

I received a courtesy call 15 minutes prior to the service. Upon arrival the team was courteous, and explained, in detail, all the work they would be performing on my sprinkler system. The bid came in at only about half of what I expected the cost to be! They replaced four sections of pipe and recharged my sprinkler system in only about an hour. 100% will be using them again if the need arises.

Had an emergency clog caused by tree roots and corresponding back up flooding parts of my basement. Brent came out, worked for nearly 2 hours and made sure water was running through the pipes easily before leaving. I appreciate them coming as an emergency and making it possible for me to stay in my home as opposed to a motel.

Drain is clean! They did the job. The complaint is there machine was to big to get in the door way and needed two guys to operate. So had to come back the next day with help. Two days and two trips. $560 later I have a clean drain.

All the guys that came out were very nice, honest and did a great job! Will use them again and would recommend them.

I would Highly recommend. My main sewer line was backing up when doing laundry. Major drained fixed it within an hour. The tech was professional & courteous. And what Suprised me the most was how affordable, under $140.

Kitchen sink was backing up and garbage disposal wasn’t working. Estimated they could come out around 4-5 pm the same day. Chad was able to come out much sooner than that around 1 pm and quickly fixed the issue! It was a simple fix that the garbage disposal needed reset so he just charged the maintenance fee of $50! He noticed I didn’t have the right tool to reset it myself so he left me one. Had he needed to fix the sink the quoted price was less than $200, and I think that is very reasonable.Chad was very professional, courteous, and timely. Leaving me the knowledge and tools to prevent it in the future goes a long way with me! Major Drain will by my household’s go to plumbers.

These guys do good work. I had them come out to look at some things in the house and hydrojet our drain. The plumber who showed up initially was very up front and honest about what we were asking and even said that we did not need any replacement for our main stack, which was great to hear as we had been told the opposite by another bid. Then the guys who showed up to hydrojet were in to do their thing, did a great job and were very professional about the whole process. 10/10 would recommend for a friend.

We called them on a Sunday morning and they were there by 12:30. Was a very professional, compassionate, knowledgeable individual who came out and solved the problem quick. The room was over run from a drain issue and had washer/dishwasher overflow. He was able snake it and found the issue. Super respectful of the house and our time. They showed us everything we had and to our surprise we did not have to replace the sewer drain pipes as explained to us by another company. Having someone come to work on a clogged drain is not always a pleasant experience, but this was a good experience for us.

I spent all weekend working on a stopped up drain in our bathroom. Toilet removed and all and I couldn't get it. We contacted Major Drain in the morning and they were out that afternoon on time and he got it cleaned out in less than 15 minutes. Technicians aren't cheap these days but at least we didn't feel taken advantage of by these guys. Thankful. Great work!

Id like to start off by stating the world we live in today is riddled with crooks and liars. Major Drain is NEITHER of those. They are one of, if not the most transparent businesses I have ever had the pleasure of working with. My sewer line was clogged. Major Drain was the third plumbing company that I called and were the most helpful, I will only use Major Drain. The first company I called was Omaha Drains. I am not sure why they have drains in the name but he did nothing but take my $99. He did snake my line out to 100 feet and gave up.I then called American Rooter. I told him what already been done. American Rooter said that he only has a 100 foot cable on his snake. He said he can do the same job that the previous plumber did for 400 dollars. The other option was to HydroFLow the line for a 1000 dollars or rip out the line for 4000 thousand dollars. Of course he offered to look at the line with a camera for 322 dollars.So I called Major Drain, they were on time and very help. I had tree roots 130 feet out and he fixed all my issues in less than an hour. Very reasonable price.I gave away 149 dollars to other plumbers that did nothing. I am very pleased with Major Drain.

putting in a floor drain in basement. they have a hi tech sewer line locating device that shows where we can safely cut out the concrete this will save time and money .instead of guessing where to install the floor drain and then finding we cut out concrete in the wrong place. money well spent. they also can water jet the main line for alot less than i was quoted at another sewer service. i will use them in the future

We had a main sewer line clogged on Sunday around 5pm. We called and they were at our house in less than the 45 minutes they estimated.They were done in an hour, courteous, clean and very reasonable pricing. The job was done for about $139, compared to $250 - $600 for most other companies.There are other reputable and affordable plumbing companies out there, Major Drain had availability and fit the bill. I would recommend them to others.The only thing they could do better is bring plastic sheets to cover flooring to protect from small splatters. I had some, so it worked out ok. Overall, 5 stars.

Water heater went out. I called and got an appointment on the same day. Brent arrived a few minutes early and got it fixed in a reasonable amount of time. They're the people I call for all my plumbing needs.

I purchased a new refrigerator & had to have the tubing that was put in to supply water to the refrigerator changed from plastic to copper. The representative came & looked at the tubing, said it was an easy fix. It was, it took him 30min total... pull out the plastic, put in the copper tubing. Well 179.00 doesn’t seem like a reason price for being at my house for 30min. I’ve had other services done in the past & they way more extensive repairs but this seem rather ridiculous price. I definitely will think twice before calling them again

Very happy with the work I had done. Bought an older house a year back and slowly finding more and more frankensteined fixes throughout, particularly with plumbing, so finding a reliable plumber I can come back to is key and I feel I have found them.Needed a few pipes in my basement replaced as they began to rust. The gentlemen who came to do the inspection was very thorough and listened to any concerns I had. All said and done by the time he was finished I had a clear picture of the extent of work needed and my worries alleviated concerning some minor things. They then emailed the full price quote shortly after and it was more than reasonable for what needed to be done.Definitely looking forward to working with them more on other issues and some of our renovations in the future.

I moved into a home and made the mistake of drilling into our copper plumbing while attempting to hang a bathroom shelf.Major Drain took my emergency call at 11 pm and sent someone over first thing in the morning. Just called Major Drain, not only where they twice per hour of most plumbing companies in the area to clear a kitchen drain. The manager would not have a 50.00 trip fee to our home which is 6 minutes from downtown Omaha but in Iowa. But you will drive 40 minutes to West Omaha and not have a trip fee. Poor poor business decisions. Needless to say,. We will not be using them. Way to many plumbers in town to be treated with such disrespect.

When you have to tree roots and you have to have your drains snaked every couple years, you know what the issue is. Lifesavers! We had 8 family members staying at our home when we had our main sewer line back up at 9:30pm on a Sunday. The tech stated that it was concrete poured into my drain and it couldn't be cleaned out. He stated that he wouldn't charge me because he didn't really do anything....but his partner insisted that they charge me the $139 plus tax.Extremely frustrating.I had parked on the street so they could utilize the driveway....and when I went to put my car back into my driveway, I was struck by a hit n run motorist and woke up in the CT scanner at the ER.Not my best day....and $150 bill to boot.Ugh

We hired MD to Hydro Jet tree roots out of our sewer line. They showed up on time and got right to work. The job took practically all day ($ouch$) but they cleared the line. It ended up being quite a bit more than I was expecting to pay. They did work with us on the price. This is the third different company we have hired in 9 years to clear roots. As far as the actual work performed, MD was on par with the others. What sets them apart from the others we have dealt with is the digital invoicing and I thought it was a GREAT touch to send a private youtube link recording of our cleared line. I do not think I will hire anyone else to service our drains other than Major Drain.

Terrible company do not use them. They scheduled my appointment for 2:30pm to 3:30pm. When they didn't show up by 3:30pm I call to get s status. I was told their appointments had been running long all day but that my tech should be here by 4:30pm. My tech showed up about 5pm. It took him 5 mins to snake my 2nd floor toilet. He then spent 15 mins flushing a roll of my toilet paper down the toilet and then left saying I would receive a bill the next day. After being delayed 2 1/2 hours and doing s 5 minute job I was billed $139. To say I'm angry is an understatement. I wouldnt use Major Drain again if they were the only drain cleaning service in the area. Save your money, buy a snake and do it yourself, if that doesn't work use ANYONE else.

Major Drain was the second company I called when another plumbing service was unable to diagnose or fix our plumbing issue after 4 separate visits. (Each time coming out ill prepared and needing to consult with their supervisor). I called Major Drain described my problem and they sent Chad out right away. our new refrigerator could not be installed until we replaced the ice maker supply shut off valve with a new one. We called Major Drain on a Thursday and they said they could have someone out on Monday. About 30 minutes later they called and said they could get someone out in the next 30 minutes. The plumber did a great job replacing the valve. We also have had Major Drain clean out our kitchen drain and our main drain line. They have become our go-to whenever we have plumbing needs.

We had 5 companies out within a span of a couple of months because of our main drain. All of them tried snaking / getting a camera into our main line and couldn’t get through because of a root. All other companies told us we needed a new main line which was around 20K. Major Drain came out and within an hour was able to get through, clean the drain out and repair the line. He was so sure he fixed the issue he guaranteed it wouldn’t back up again and it hasn’t! We haven’t had any issues since it last happened in June!You have a loyal Major Drain customer here! Major drain came out and flushed out my floor drain. I had an issue arise again at the end of 3 months but they came snd took care of it under the warranty so they came out promptly and they were absolutely fantastic... It's great to see a company like this that stands behind their warranty. Ihad used them several years ago and they did a wonderful job then as well. The young man that came out this September 2022 was so polite and so professional. He did a fantastic job.They have a very good value in terms of what they charge because I have compared them to others in the past. They always give a fair price. And like I said they were happy to honor the warranty and come out to address an issue.They were great about booking that quickly when I told them the drain was bubbling up, to make sure that I did not have any overflow issues damage my floors .That worked with my schedule and arrived promptly. Every time I've ever dealt with them I've had a positive experience. I highly recommend them.

This is great local company. I was referred to Major Drain by another high quality local plumber, so that told me something positive about the company before I ever even dealt with them.I made had an appointment for Tuesday at 10:30am and by 10:15 the plumber was on the job! He quickly diagnosed the problem, which was the main house drain being clogged with debris, and 30 minutes later everything was flowing perfectly.They use top-notch equipment and modern technology but provide old fashioned service and prices.I wouldn't hesitate to refer Major Drain, and plan to do so whenever someone I know is in need of a plumber.

well we had major drain on mar 13 and we ask him to check for tree roots he said drain was running freely so did need any thing else...we paid 165.oo for his work .....just had to call another plumber for another drain clog he says we have tree roots and we need new line......so no stars for bad job .....do not call major drain for serice......

Tree roots in your plumbing:BAD.Major Drain to affordably handle the issue and not jerk you around like the bigger plumbing outfits that quote you 3 gazillion dollars to make the problem go away:GOOD.Thanks Major.

Kitchen drain backed up. Major Drain got it cleared.A few days later noticed a constant drip under kitchen sink. Major drain returned. Discovered garbage disposal dripping . Major Drain replaced the disposal charging me less for the man power. It appears the disposal was dripping when they were under my sink last time however placed the focus on clearing the drain verses watching the function of garbage disposal Thank you Major Drain for returning at a discounted man power hours.

I was very impressed by the service we got from Major Drain.I got their name through numerous warm recommendations on Nextdoor and they did not disappoint.We had a drain problem, a second visit was necessary the day after, and bothtimes the plumber who came ( they were 2 different persons- sorry don't remember their names ) was quick to come , very pleasant and knowledgeable, professional, efficient and.... covid friendly !Also their price was really fair.I certainly plan to call them whenever I need plumbing or drain work in the future. Had them out to the house twice this year. First time to clear the main line, well within reason cost wise. Second was to clear a bathroom sink drain that was severely blocked, that was off hours, and actually less expensive than the first call because of how they bill. I had them come fix my dishwasher and hook it correctly and had them take out my garbage disposal unit. The service was amazing and told me what they were doing. The price was amazing. I had a other company snake my tub and charged me up the wall for it. I found out how much major drain would of charged me and I was blown away how much cheaper it is. So lets say this I will be now only using major drain for my plumbing problems! Best company ever!

Had a major disaster on a Sunday. Thought we would just have to live with it for another day. Called to see what they thought snaking our main line would cost and found out they do not charge time and a half like everyone else to come out on the weekend. Shawn told me it was only $25 more. When Shawn came out, we told him what we wanted done, but he inspected it and told us he thought we had a different problem. He got right to work and his solution made things flow twice as fast. He then said we could try our idea, and he did a great job minimalizing the mess and got our drains flowing smoothly. He also took the time to clean out a sink drain. The charge was much less then we thought we would be stuck with. Will gladly call on them again in the future!

Major Drain of Omaha is a great company. They scheduled to come an fix the plumbing issues and install my kitchen sink, faucet, disposal and dishwasher when I needed them. Did a great job. Very polite, respectful and professional. I will call them again.
