Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

Had appointment. They called and said didn’t know if or when they could make it. After scheduled time b/w 8-12. No show or call. I called rescheduled the following week.Charged $357. For a 20 minute fix. Found out from others I was definitely over charged for work done.Will never use again.

My problem was resolved for clogged pipes but way too expensive $300. I feel like I was overcharged.

I am honestly wondering if theyre buying positive reviews to help bump their rating. They did not show up the whole day that they said they would (probably so you schedule them thinking they can come by the next day to fix the issue instead of calling another plumber) Then they did not show up at the time they said they would the next day either. We did not have water running in our house while waiting for them. When called about an hourly charge, they will not give you an hourly charge. We were desperate for running water, so we paid the extremely overpriced bill for a 10 minute fix.

My whole house was backed up it seems like the tree roots grew in the plumbing and they were quick to get there on a Sunday and get the job done. It was a good experience and they guarantee their work

Thomas was awesome! He took the time out of his busy schedule to make sure our issue was fixed the right way, the first time and cleaned everything up afterwards. The kitchen looks like he was never there! He even explained how the equipment worked to my kids and answered all their questions! Extremely professional during the whole visit.

Brad (technician number 2135) did a great job at our house! We were having sewage backing up in our basement. A different plumber came before and cleaned our main sewer line twice, but the day after the second time the sewage was still backing up. Roto-Rooter was able to get someone here the following morning when we called late in the evening, and Brad quickly diagnosed the problem as not in the main line but in the floor drain in the basement that fed into the main line. He broke up the blockage in the pipe and got everything back to normal, and he was also very friendly! We would definitely use Roto-Rooter again for any sort of drainage/plumbing issues.

Jeff the Master plumber is excellent and very professional. Came by several times and put together several different options price wise since I just purchases the house and money was tight. You could tell that he truly cared about the customer, and was not trying to sell something that wasn't needed. This is an attitude that I have seen throughout the company here in Omaha. From the GM Todd Wick all the way down to the Tech Bart who came out the night my basement flooded. They care about the customers and will do anything to make sure that the customer is satisfied, the work is done correctly, and that any and all concerns are addressed immediately. Day or night I know that I can call these guys with any issues, and even more importantly, TRUST, that they will get the job done and do right by me as a customer.

I had Ray come out to take care of a backed up drain. He was very professional and explained the process well. I will use this company in the future if needed.

The repairs were done very quickly and with, my basic understanding, great skill. However, the technician was kind of rude and seemed irritated with me for the sole reason of needing someone to come out and do some repairs for me. Maybe he was having a bad day as his attitude got better as time went on but I'd be lying if I said he was very pleasant at first. In short, good technical skills and repairs but below average customer service.For what it's worth, the technician gave me a 10% discount which saved me more money than my $30 off coupon so I am thankful for that. At the end of the day, I can deal with an impersonable person but I cannot deal with a broken fill valve flooding my house.

Tech arrived at 11:50am and had his van loaded back up at 12:15pm.25 minute service call...$355 + $24.85 tax = $379.85Buyer bewareDec 19 update:Pat Swanson followed up right away asking for additional information which was emailed same day.Upon reciept of additional info Pat emailed as follows:I am the liaison between the branch and the customer. I have submitted a formal complaint to the General Manager. You can expect to hear from a member of the management staff shortly.As of 39 days later, management has not followed up.

Michael was dispatched in a very timely manner, on Saturday 3/18. He arrived, assessed the situation, gave a quote, and started working all in about 25 mins. He did a great job and made recommendations (some were business required probably) and got additional services done. He was very respectful of our property, despite the state it is in currently.It was a bad situation made better by this competent, helpful, and pleasant technician. I called at 2am and they had someone to snake my drain on Thanksgiving day by 7:30am. Rai was fast, professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Would have been hard to prep for Thanksgiving without a kitchen sink.

I filled out a service request online and received a confirmation email for a same day appointment for the time I needed. Someone called 30 minutes prior to arriving, and they were on time, professional, and courteous. Fixed the problem and I was very pleased!

We had flooded water and they came and ran a tool through the main line.
They talked to our rental company because they were stalling and we didnt have to pay out of our pocket the rental company ended up paying.
The guys went to bat for us and that was the good part of this.

Nice guys but way over priced. It costed me more for them to scope and clean than it did for the vendor to replace 9 feet of sewer pipe. Too expensive

Once the technician arrived everything was fine. However, the day they were scheduled to come, they called to say they couldn't get there. They said they would arrive the next morning between 8 and 9, I kept calling all day, being told I was next. Apparently the person had written 8-9 pm instead of am.

Had a drain that was draining slow so the hose from my washer was spraying water when it was spinning. I called at 7:00 Sunday night, they said they could get someone there in a few hours. I said I would wait until Monday. It was Labor Day weekend and there was no extra charge for either the night visit or the holiday visit. He was at our house by 8:30 Monday morning. He came in and knew exactly what was wrong. He snaked the pipe and cleaned up his mess and was done in less than 30 minutes. He even pointed out to us the water hose going from the tap to the washer had a huge bulge in it. He suggested we replace it before it burst. Thanks Roto Rooter for always being honest and dependable.

I was in a panic last night when I found water in the basement due to a leaking water heater. I was happy to find RotoRooter had an online service request link. I had a service time set up for this morning. They called me early and were able to arrive earlier than my scheduled time. My serviceman was efficient, clean and clearly knew what he was doing. Came out because a toilet was not flushing properly. Due to age of house thought it was the lines. Diagnosed a bad toilet. Very courteous and professional employees.

In the middle of winter, our sewer line from house to street succumbs to years of tree root in-growth. Roto-Rooter was able to get through the growth, but a camera showed multiple displaced and broken tiles in this 60 year old line. Since we still had some function, this was not an emergency on this Friday. After reviewing the camera findings, scheduled service for the following Monday. They arrived promptly with full crew and equipment and got promptly to work. Estimated service interruption had been two work days. They beat that by about 3 hours. While I've nothing to compare this with except observation of neighbors across the go through same thing with different contractor two years ago and they were out of service for a whole week. Overall, done promptly and professionally at a fair price. (sometimes cheaper costs more}

Our drain had clogged that is tied to our washer and our kitchen sink. They were out the next day by 8:30 and had everything cleared by10:00

Called around 8pm, waited on hold for less than half a minute. Explained the problem and was told a tech could be here within 1-2 hours. Got a call back when the tech was on his way, about 45 minutes later. He did some quick detective work to figure out where the blockage was and gave us pricing options from fix the problem to clean every pipe there is while he's here - we opted for the former. He had the drain cleared in short order. Had everything fixed before our usual plumber even returned our voicemail.

The 2 Technicians they sent were EXCELLENT!! One (Ray) checked for water leakage Everywhere, and UnClogged the kitchen Drain pipe! He told me that most assuredly I would be getting a NEW kitchen floor, since there was Obvious Damage,and sewage water Channeling Under my wood floor. He said a crew of workers would be out the next day, to tear up the floor, Clean up and and start Drying the Subfloor, and taking care of Any impending MOLD problem, as a Result of the Water Damage. He even Called my Homeowners insurance company and Started a Claim for it to All be Taken Care of. He Knew exactly what to say and do , to get things DONE for me. Did I Mention that they were at my Door Less than an Hour from my Initial Call!! I Highly Recommend Roto-Rooter to Anyone Needing to Get Problems Cleared up Quickly!!

After some initial glitches with appointment times, the day was more than saved by Jeff the super plumber. He did excellent work and was very pleasant to deal with. When an unexpected problem arose at the end, he calmly and coolly solved it. Very satisfied.

Great service. Had a huge clog in a house we just moved into and they sent Wes out within 45 minutes. Fantastic job, very knowledgeable & courteous with no BS. He put in a ton of work, got the clog, and now it runs even better than before.

Roto rooter is full of liars. I had work done two years ago. I went with the option that had the 5 year warranty because I was informed it would transfer to the new owners as I knew I would be selling within the next few years. Now roto rooter is telling me the master plumber, Jeff, who did the quote and sat down at the table with my dad and I to discuss options is no longer with them and the warranty doesn’t transfer. Had I known that I would have gone with the cheaper option with a 1 year warranty, as I knew my plans. Roto rooter is not a great company. Only went with them bc they were able to do the job within 3 days of the main drain issue. I would not recommend them and will also be going to the BBB with my complaints.UPDATE: Todd called to inform me the warranty stays with the house. I appreciate Todd taking time out of his day to make things right and use this as a learning opportunity for his staff.

I have used Roto Rooter every since I had purchased a home but yesterday was the w,oust service ever. First the technician Paul was 2 hours late. Didn’t seem to have any knowledge about the job. Finally told me that due to calcium build up I needed to replace my faucet, which was working before he came out but wasn’t after he left. We asked him to come back but he said he couldn’t do anything more. This morning we found a leak where he was working. I will never use this company again

We had a sewer backup on the day of the NU v Indiana game. We called Rotor Rooter that Sat night and on Sun afternoon Mark came over to get us started on insurance and explaining what the fix it plan was. The break in the pipe was quickly fixed without tearing up the concrete. Not the end of story. Wet wallboard and mold was discovered. PHASE 2 began and is still under wayA cast of characters showed up with solutions and suggestions and explanations-all extremely professional and knowledgeable about the clean up and beyond.Enter Trey and Nathan to carry out the plan. Fans are still running and two dumpsters the size of train cars were filled. Those two have worked tirelessly all week . They took on a Herculean and dirty task. They showed up on each day, explained what was happening. Despite the chaos and noise they chatted and laughed down in the basement and actually made it seem like the job was fun. They were so careful about checking what should be saved.PS. A toilet upstairs would not flush and they had someone out in minutes to fix it. RR is fortunate to have such a fine staff and so are we.

The time Joseph and Jim took to not only help pinpoint our issues, but also educate and provide extremely valuable suggestions was far beyond my expectations. I will definitely be reaching back out in the future.

The process with Roto router for scheduling was very efficient. I received a confirmation phone call and a text. The technician Craig showed up on time and was very friendly and professional. He did the job in a very efficient manner. Got our pipes all cleaned out and everything was great. I’d recommend Roto router.

Very nice and professional. After attempting to snake the clogged 1950's sink drain we eventually had to do much more work and call in a Licensed Plumber. Jake ended up having to come to our house a couple time allowing me to save some money and do some of the demo myself to get to the pipes in the ceiling and in the attic space. After that Jake worked hard for two days. The first plan found a larger heavy drain with toilet drain and and tub drain also need to be fed back in to the new PVC. Jake finished today and it looks good. We will have to keep the holes in the ceiling accessible until we have ran the drains for a few weeks. Thanks Jake!

All thanks to Jim, Ray, and Steven! They made a stressful situation smooth and simple. They are even helping us deal with our homeowners insurance. They explained everything in detail and in a way for me to understand. Highly recommend hiring these guys! Just an outstanding job through and through.

I appreciated the prompt response for an appointment and communication along the way. We had a bad overflow situation in our basement and not only did Brad help get the line cleared quickly, he coordinated with Rafael to get on scene for water mitigation and home review. Within 90 minutes, the immediate problem was resolved, the problem area was inspected, insurance was contacted, and the process was started to line-up the post-work needed for clean-up and home repair. This was all with the assistance of the roto-rooter guys. It felt like a team was created for me that I didn't even know I needed. They were very helpful and courteous through each step and gave very clear follow-up steps and information for me and insurance. I really appreciate them both and am happy with my decision to call roto-rooter. I highly recommend to all.

He gave me instructions on how to prepare the area what what needed done. He got the parts and fixed the repair, befor I knew it the paper work needed signed saying we were finished. Kevin the Service Technician came out to our house with in an hour of calling on a Sunday afternoon. He did an awesome job of working with us and answering any questions we had. He also offered some up selling on services and was not pushy about it at all. I would defiantly use their services again in the future. My only reason for dropping one start is due to some miscommunication with their water mitigation team, but still very friendly and helpful!

This is the second time I've use roto rooter and Derrick (4394) was amazing as usual he came out in about 30 minutes from the moment I called took time to explain what was going on with my drain as well as explain to me what he was he was doing, as he was doing it. When they tell you that your window is Tuesday 10 to 2. They will call you the next three days and say our techs can't get off the job and we stop work at 4pm. We will try tomorrow Don't take off work and wait for these people. Always making you think you are the next stop once the techs get off that job.

Charged me $400 for 30 minutes of work to clear out a drain. Not sure if that’s a common price, but the cost did not add up to the amount of time the guy was here

Roto Rooter arrived on site quickly after my call, and set to work to quickly remove the problem, Adam (1473) did a great job in explaining what he was doing and getting the job done. He had a very positive attitude and displayed pride in his work. He contacted the sewer line examiners, after clearing the overflow and waited until they arrived on site. His professionalism and expertise were wonderful.

Thankful for Matthew who cleared our problem right away. Only issue was I called 11/16. My appt. was to be on the 17th from 10am to 2pm with a no show. They rescheduled for next day 8am to 12 but sent out wrong tech. twice. The third time finally got the right tech who cleared the problem around 430pm on 11/18. Apppreciated Bill who was apologetic and felt badly about the mixup. and delays.

We used Roto-Rooter for a drain clog that turned out to be more of a plumbing issue than we had anticipated. The plumber (Bill) and Drain Clog expert (Craig) both serviced our kitchen sink drain. They were both extremely professional, courteous, on time, and did an excellent job. We were able to get an appointment the next morning (the drain issue occurred late Friday night), which was great!

After several days of kitchen sink being unusable, woke up to not being able to flush toilet on Saturday morning, I'd had it , after call 2 other plumber services and no answer, roto-rooter answered right away, very patient with questions before agreeing to have them come out. Had Thomas out for a sewer line that was backing up. Was able to get line unblocked. Very friendly and professional entire time. Would recommend.

Christmas Day totally clogged kitchen drain. Called, got service in less than 1 hour. Tristan our service person was amazing and fixed the problem quickly. He was the best!

Main pipe coming from the 2nd floor was clogged. Technician came to fix. Stated it would be $546. Didn't have time to look for another company due to time restraints. Took about 1 hour 45 minutes. I had a $75 off coupon that I used. Total bill $549. That included labor $565 and parts( 2 bolts and a wax ring) $26 way to expensive for the work done. Called to ask if this was a standard fee, the person I spoke to was rude and asked me what I wanted her to do about it. Didn't try to explain why it cost so much. I will never use roto rooter again. I will also let people know the experience I had .

They responded very fast. At the house within 30 minutes of calling. Jeff was very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. We had a different plumbing company out first that could not fix the clogged issue after multiple hours and attempts. Jeff was able to fix the problem in 30 minutes. It's never pleasant to have your floor drain back up on a holiday weekend. I was very happy when I learned that Roto Rooter would come on a Sunday. They opened the sewer drain to allow the floor drain to drain. Then the next morning my washing machine backed up in my sink. They came right away to address this, but when this was not handled properly I called the manager and he promptly resolved the issues and sent another man more suited for the job. This man redeemed the company in my eyes. I will recommend them to others for this reason.

Had a bad problem with washing machine overflowing a drain. Took them a long time to clear but got better. They did have to come out to clear the main 3 weeks afterwards and now everything seems to be working great. They didn't charge us for return visit. We had standing water in our basement due to the main line backing up, and Roto-Rooter was the only company willing to come out as soon as they could. Dion was there in less than an hour and had it cleared out in about 45 mins. He even did a great job of cleaning up the area and making it seem as if he was never there. When our main sewer line was clogged, I made an online appointment with Roto Rooter for a service call. It was very easy to do. I promptly received an email confirming the date and time (within 24 hours of my problem). I received a call that our service man was on the way. He arrived soon after. We had 2 terrific people work on our sewer line, Joe and Kemper. They both followed COVID protocol, and with the proper equipment cleared our sewer line, vacuumed up water from the floor, and left our basement in tip top shape.Roto Rooter, Joe and Kemper all get an A+ for their prompt service and professionalism in resolving our clog. I highly recommend their service!

Only negative was they were going to come Saturday evening but called and changed to Sunday.

Yesterday, I called Rotorooter to assist with unclogging a drain. I called at 11am. I setup an appointment for 5pm. I was going to allow for enough time since it's probably a busy time of year. I was told there would be a 4 hour window, so 5-9. At 7, I got a call that no one was going to be able to make it out today. I told them it was unacceptable to cancel one this late in the day, espically with a customer that gave you ample runway to hit. I ended up calling Burton and they came out within a half hour.

The post-service experience has been terrible. The company as an agreement with the City of Omaha to handle billing/payment for clean-up and sanitizing when a city water line is involved. The company rep failed to inform us of the details of the agreement and did not notify the city of the claim. Big failure on their part. The city is aware of and handling the claim now, but this company has been harassing, threatening to put a lien on the property and such. Work a deal with the loan department until the city pays...; the city will not turn around and pay us, the payment will go to the company. I will not recommend this company ever again.

One of their plumbers Jake Armstrong is awesome. Took care of all of our plumbing issues and provided great customer service. I would highly recommend.

We had a plugged main-drain which had over flowed in our basement when our water softener dumped. They were the only company available to come out to our place. The two men were polite and super professional and even gave me GREAT tips on how to clean up the water as well as offered a service if we needed extra help.

He snaked the pipe and drain in the washroom but then informed us that there was a bigger issue. He needed to go through the main trap in the garage. He gave me the price. Which no one is excited to pay any bill. He was very polite, clean and respectful to our four little fur babies. I had taken a photo of him hard at work but was unable to load it. We would not have any other company come to our home. We have been a satisfied customer for several years. If you want the job done right. Take my advice and don't look any further. Roto-Rooter is the company to get the job done right the first time.

Today Tristan was my Good Samaritan ! I experienced a flat tire after hitting a pot hole on 120th street. Tristan saw I was in need of assistance and was so kind to offer a helping hand. His attitude was very pleasant and personable. I am so thankful for this angel named Tristan. We need more people like him in the world!

The dispatcher called and let me know the Service Tech would arrive in 30 to 45 minutes. The dispatcher described how the COVID procedures would work and that our Service Tech would be Craig. Craig was right on time, polite, explained what he would do and neat. Everything was covered or protected. It took less than an hour from time of arrival to him walking out the door.

My toilet was not flushing properly. Roto rooter inspected and found a broken pipe below the toilet under the concrete basement floor. They replaced the broken sewer pipe and repaired the concrete. They explained the process for each step and showed me through a camera of the pipe. All workers were courteous and knowledgeable of their work.

They cleared the drain. Sewage water was everywhere. I was told they were going to remove all the things that were touched by the sewage water. They put fans in for a few days, dried everything up and took out maybe 2 boxes, left everything else, I guess because it's dry now? Maybe sewage water os good to go after its dry? I guess we'll see

I so appreciate Adam's hard work on clearing the drain at my laundromat on Sunday. It had gotten clogged and was causing water to back up, resulting in huge problems. Now it's working great. I would definitely recommend him.

Our main drain backed up. Initially we contacted another company who sent a contractor who cleared the block and informed us of roots growing into our damaged pvc pipe. He told us the pipe was under our driveway and that it was 14 ft down. I called Roto Rooter for a 2nd opinion. They didn't charge any fee to come out to take a look, and were quick about it too. The rep had me watch the camera on an i-pad while he ran the camera down the drain. When we reached the roots he took me out to the yard while he ran the GPS to find the camera. The spot was in the yard 4 feet AWAY from our driveway and 11 feet down instead of 14 feet. Naturally, this made the quote thousands cheaper. Roto Rooter was super quick with the fix, were professional, and communicative throughout the entire process. When the Bobcat accidentally damaged the edge of my driveway, Roto Rooter worked with me to make things right. I'll definitely be using RR for any plumbing issues in the future.

Update: Not twenty minutes after my review, I received a call from Todd @ Roto-Rooter to talk about the service I received. We spent some time walking through my concerns, he provided me several options to right the ship. Its unfortunate that we had to have the call, but I strongly feel that the integrity of a business is never more heavily tested then when dealing with situations like this. These guys certainly pass muster where that is concerned, and as a result, I'll certainly consider them for future plumbing needs.Was told the drain cleaning came with a 6 month warranty. However, after the work was complete the tech attempted to upsell me on a camera inspection of the line, and when I declined, he said that could impact their ability to stand behind the warranty. None of this was disclosed or discussed prior to my accepting the work. I declined, as I felt this was a shady business tactic. Now, three days later, a funny smell from the drain has me bringing out another locally owned and family-recommended plumber. Being told there is still a clog, and a camera inspection shows it's likely been there for some time. So, I'm now questioning both the competency and transparency of Roto-Rooter.

We had a sewage backup in our basement. Jeff cleared all pipes that same evening and within 48 hrs the water restoration crew got to work. They (Brent) started on a Friday and by the following Thursday, everything was dried out, cut out and cleaned. (Except 1 fan they still haven't picked up.) They took care of all the paperwork for insurance, and once received, we can start to rebuild what. All the staff were very professional and we will definitely use them again and recommend them.

They were on site within an hour of calling, didn’t charge anything to show up and diagnose the problem, and even helped my work with my homeowners insurance to file a claim. Couldn’t be happier with the service.

The plumber was very helpful and efficient. He explained the process and how they could help me. Mark came in and after inspecting our pipes he explained that wear and rare has caused the overflow. He recommended having his team to come out and remove the buildup in the pipes, so they could last at least 10 more years. We are planning to have Mark and his team complete the job.

O’shay #2722 did a fantastic job! Very knowledgeable and friendly. Found the problem quickly and fixed it. He cleaned up after the job and gave me solid advice to avoid another plumbing problem. I highly recommend Roto-Rooter and O’shay for all plumbing issues.

I want to preface this by saying that I have used Roto Rooter locally here in Omaha multiple times in the past, and have always had wonderful and timely service. This week however, that was not the case.I called yesterday to schedule an appointment to have a plumber out to replace/move a hose bib on the outside of my house because I am having a new deck installed on Saturday morning. They put me on the schedule for today, Thursday, and told me that someone would be out between 10am-2pm.It is now 4pm, and when I called the office and let them know I’ve been waiting 6+ hours with no contact, I was told that “they were short staffed, and that they were going to call me but they were just waiting on a technician”. I asked why I wasn’t called earlier in the day, and wasn’t given an answer. I was then offered an appointment for tomorrow morning (Friday); when I stated that I wanted to be sure they would be out tomorrow, because my deck is being built Saturday morning, I was told that “actually they were completely booked tomorrow as well.”The receptionist I spoke to on the phone told me that, “customer service offers/schedules appointments without looking at the schedule” and that’s what happened to me, and she was not apologetic about it at all.Ridiculous, and it saddens me to know that a company I have used numerous times, and paid thousands of dollars to, is now displaying this type of service.Definitely DO NOT recommend, and WILL NOT be using again in the future.

The initial sticker shock for the cost was the worst part of the adventure. I asked the scheduler for a range of pricing to which they bailed and said the plumber would have to access. It's a clogged drain - seriously - that's why you call Roto-Rooter , not advanced mechanical plumbing! I feel that if they would have quoted me the $380 price tag for a basic job right off the bat I would either 1) not have scheduled the appointment or been at a lower risk for heart attack having time to digest that $ amount before the appointment. This puts undue pressure and reaction on the plumber /consumer and that just felt shady and completely unnecessary.My repairmen were very professional, they did a great job, were very knowledgeable and cleaned up after themselves when they were finished. As soon as I figure out which organ I am going to have to sell to pay for this, I'll feel much better.

I was initially unhappy with Roto-Rooter. The tech cleaned out the clogged pipes at the church building, but he made a HUGE mess and didn't have cleaning supplies to clean it up. There was also a problem with the billing as they charged tax for a non-profit organization and neither the tech nor those he called knew how to remove the tax from the bill. After complaining, I was contacted by two people at Roto-Rooter. The bill was corrected and a discounted applied to compensate the time I spent cleaning. They also asked for photos so they could improve their service and we discussed the need to make sure their trucks were properly stocked because accidents do happen. I should mention that the tech was polite despite clearly having a bad day. I no longer have issues with the company and it sounds like they are working hard to improve.

We called on a Monday w/ an Emergency call. Very hard to get a tech out. After 2 days Jeff B. & his side kick (not sure of his name).After we received the call that these 2 tech wld b on their way, in 25-35 min. The came to the house earlier than the time stated. As I explained what we were hearing. They got to work . Went through many a tests on items that water flows through. To no avail did they find out where the noise was coming from. The techs were very knowledgeable in all areas of their work. Left us well informed of problems that it cld be. Very happy w/ the service provided us today.

The drain tech Thomas was very informative and helpful. He was on time and very knowledgeable.

I had a leaky refrigerator with potential water damage on the floor underneath. Roto Rooter sent a district manager, Joe Baloun, out to access the situation. Joe knew exactly the steps to take, including insurance claim steps, and had a plumber and remediation team into the house within a couple hours of my first call to Roto Rooter. Fantastic service!

Crew was in and out in about an hour and resolved the kitchen sink clog. The price of the service was much more than I expected. $355 plus tax for a total of $379. I was most satisfied with the service but a bit dismayed at the cost. But since they were already here i kind of felt obligated.

Had a slow running basement floor drain. Diagnoses was that the line under the basement was rusted out. Roto-Rooter would have to go under the concrete to repair. Crew (Mitch and Scott) showed up on time. They partitioned off area around where they would have to cut and jack hammer concrete, layed covers over flooring. Work took 2 1/2 days. Other than the jack hammer noise, I hardly knew they were here. they had to remove and replace down drain, and about 10 to 12 feet of line. They removed all the mud and concrete. Repair looks very good, and floor/kitchen drain works great now. I highly recommend.

I noticed water in my garage around 3 in the afternoon on a Saturday. I called Roto Rotor around 3:45. By 4:15, maybe 4:30 Jeremy arrived at our house. He was very professional and up front with pricing. He has obviously been at his trade for at least a few years because of knowledge and experience, he knew what to expect and was able to inform me of all the possibilities. Unfortunately, for us, his worst case scenario is what our problem with the line ended up being. Eric, the Sewer Solution Specialist, was out while Jeremy was still onsite and confirmed with the camera, we have tree roots.Both Jeremy and Eric did a great job in identifying the issue, locating the spot in the line, and giving us options and pricing that I thought was very reasonable. We’ll see if the other crew gets them that 5th star! 😉

When Eric came out to check everything out and tell me what they had to do he was very professional kind he wasn't pushy and listen to my needs when the guys got here to do the plumbing they were very professional they had great personalities even Eric had a personality that was great I really enjoyed working with these fellows I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family and I would use them again thank you for everything you guys

Main drain backed up on Easter Sunday. Craig the technician was at my home within the hour of me calling. He was very professional and took extra measures to protect my home from further damage. He got my issue resolved in a timely manner and I felt the price was reasonable for a Sunday and a holiday.

I have not called them in many years. They used to be very reasonable that is no longer the case. The plumber did not seem to be very experienced but he got the work done. He also insisted on replacing water lining that according to him was the company's policy. Would I call them again? NO no

I called roto rooter after having water back up from my main into my laundry room. I was sold a pecote treatment and water jetting service. After the pecote,I was advised their jetter was not working. Mark Sullivan was very communicative and after a week of not being able to get their jetter to me, he refunded that portion of the service in a timely manner. I had a very positive experience with Mark and Roto and will definitely use them again.

It is never fun to have the need for these types of services. It was my turn to call these guys last night and it was a pleasant experience. Again, not fun to deal with this stuff and stings a bit paying the bill, but they were good and it was worth it to have them out.

Update: the owner called me personally and offered a sincere apology and scheduled a time that was convenient for me. They took care of the problem.Wish I could give 0 stars as that is what they deserve. Booked an appointment online to have a bathroom sink cleaned. Got a confirmation for between 12:00 and 2:00 the next day. Got a phone call at 1:10 that they were running late. Got another phone call at 4:30 that they were still running behind but would be there shortly. Final phone call came at 6:15 saying they were running behind. At that point I canceled the appointment. What horrible customer service! Save yourself the hassle and book another company that won’t waste your time with lame excuses.

They arrived quickly after I called. The technician looked at the floor drain and asked if I still wanted him to clean the main line since no signs of water backing up could been seen as he watched the drain. I asked him to go ahead and clean the line since he was here. He was very helpful and did not try to do work that was not needed. This is the reason we keep calling rotorooter and they are the only ones that have worked on the plumbing since I bought my house.

I had Roto-Rooter do the plumbing in my basement bathroom and shower. Months later I noticed a micro leak in the bathroom faucet. I contacted the General Manager Mr.Todd Wink. He promised a quick response to my problem and followed through in a timely fashion. Dan was sent to fix the issue ; he was polite and very professional. Todd called several times with updates and communications until this issue was completely resolved to my satisfaction and I was made whole again. I strongly appreciate Mr.Wink's ability to resolve this conflict constructively. I strongly recommend this company to others . Thank You!

I showed him the clean out and he got started right away.Jeff removed a gallon of tree routs and left word to follow up for more diagnostics about our recurring main line problem.Jeff was very personable and knowledgeable and pleasant. I was very pleased with the gentleman that unplugged my kitchen drain. He was timely and pleasant.HOWEVER, I called on a Saturday afternoon and was told someone would be calling me back within two hours. Three hours later, I called them back and this individual apologized for the error and I was informed they were running behind and asked if I could wait until the next morning. I didn't mind, but it would have been nice to know that the first time I called so that I wasn't waiting around all afternoon. Mistakes happen, life goes on :)

Ray did a great job. He felt some problems and had Eric come over with a camera. Eric gave me a table so I could watch the camera go through the sewer. He explained what I was seeing and explained what was wrong and then gave me an estimate to fix it.

Someone was supposed to come out and inspect my sewer line between 4-6 pm today. I got a call from the office saying the techs were running behind, which was fine. Around 8 p.m., I got a call saying they would get to me anytime around midnight or after (this is on a Monday evening). Now, to the best of my knowledge, most humans are asleep (including myself) at midnight, and it was rude of this person to not even ASK if it was ok if a tech showed up anytime after 9 p.m. I told her that wasn't going to work and I needed to check my schedule for the next day. Now, either she hung up or she accidentally disconnected-either way, she did not call back.Does this sound like professional and courtesy service? This person represents this company and because of her lack of professionalism, I'm going elsewhere.

The guy who unclogged are shower and main sewer line did a good job and solved the problem.My problem is with the sewer camera specialist's complimentary assessment. He told us we had a bad crack in the main sewer line and would cost $6,500 to replace the bad part with PVC. Or $10,000 to put lining in the main to stop the roots at the seams and fix the crack.Ultimately we went with a second opinion. They said are main sewer line looked good and couldn't find the crack. (If it was a bad crack wouldn't they have found it.) They said all we would need to do is water jet the main in two years to remove the roots at the seams.

Holland from Roto Rooter came out to my home in Valley to fix the basement drains. Not only did he fix the drains, but he explained to us how and why they were clogged. He even gave us tips on the underlying issues that may be causing the clogs and how to prevent future clogs. I want to add that it was 90 degrees out with NO AC and he never complained once. Rare, good, hard working employee!

They came out the same day that I called. They made a diagnosis very quickly and corrected the problems in both showers in my home. The price was also lower than what I was originally quoted. The technician aslo referred me to a specialist that could come to take a look at the roots that had grown into my basement shower. They were quick professional and knowledgeable.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I was told someone would be here within an hour. Over an hour passes and I receive a phone call that the driver was experiencing vehicle troubles and they were trying to get another driver. Suddenly an employee shows up in his personal car and wanted to know what was going on, and said the notes on the service call was bad. He says someone will show up soon and leaves. An hour later the dispatcher calls me and says a new guy will be here in 30 minutes. An hour passes, nothing. So I call them back and this guy says they don’t have a technician yet. I tell him what the previous dispatcher said and he suddenly changes his mind and says a guy will come out to assess it. The miss information with this company is insane. I cancelled and I’m having someone else come out. Terrible first experience with this company.

Cameron was amazing. We called Roto-Rooter after a failed attempt by another company to unclog our kitchen sink. Cameron came late on a Saturday night and immediately I had confidence in him. Smart, professional, confident, and trustworthy. Cameron fixed the problem in 30 minutes what the other company failed to do in 3 hours at half the price. I called day before and made appointment. Lady said between 10 and 2 next day. Never heard a word until 1:36 pm saying someone would be here in 20 to 45 minutes. Well they showed up at 3 pm. Then came in and looked at toilet, said least it would be was $319.00. All I needed was a ring put on which I had. Even if he did it and refunded the 69.00, would be 250 for a 45 min to 1 hr job. I told him that was nuts and no didn't do it. Pd 69.00 and sent on his way. Called a local plumber and was 75.00. So I'm happy now.

We had a shutoff valve leak on a Sunday night that sprayed water everywhere. Paul was there the next afternoon to not only make repairs, but treat the underlying cause: Insanely high water pressure. He fixed the shutoff valve and installed a regulator to solve the issues. Throughout the week, we noticed some noise from the pipe and a shower that would barely run. I texted him about it Thursday night and he came by to fix it the next morning at no charge. The secondary issue was no fault of his. It was due to some debris in the line from a bit of pipe corrosion (I probably have a house to repipe in the future). Admittedly I had a bit of sticker shock at the price having not had much plumbing work done in the past, but for the professionalism and the very quick responsiveness, it was worth the premium.

I had multiple technicians come out to my house trying to fix a clogged floor drain in my basement. One technician tried to up-sell me a brand new sump pump, without even testing if the old one worked. However the last technician I worked, Jeremy, was awesome he took the time to try and diagnose the issue, then waited and made sure other service technicians arrived to assist with providing a solution.I think the service really depends on the quality of the technician you receive. Jeremy and the camera technician I worked with were superb and helped us solve an issue we’ve been having for about a year now.

We had a clogged kitchen sink. I called around and found that roto rooter could be there in an hour so i set the appointment. Before hanging up i asked the representative how much a normal sink drain clog cost. He said he didnt have that information but would let the technician determine the amount. Technician arrives and tells me that no matter how long they are there 15 min - 3 hours the price is 355. Obviously they have us in a tight spot because i have a sink that is full of water and the person that can fix it standing in my kitchen. It toon him all of 11 minutes to fix the problem and cost me 355 plus tax. Then i found a 75.00 coupon which helped some but my goodness i will never call them again 355 bucks for 11 minutes of work.

The plumber they sent out was wonderful! He was very polite and got the job done quickly. He made sure to test everything before he left. I would highly recommend this service.

I am pleased with the prompt service I received. It was about an hour from setting the appt to the time of arrival which was very speedy and appreciated. I was told I would get a quote upon his inspection of the job and it seems he already had a quote made up before he got here. The price was a little steep for the amount of time it took to complete. He was here for not even thirty minutes and I paid 224.70. The job he did was pretty simple as he only sat on a bucket and used a foot pedal to move the snake into the drain. The job to me was effortless and he was paid pretty nicely to do not very much. I feel for the amount of time the flat rate could have been a little better than I was quoted. He was friendly after the job was nearly completed but that's not to be said for the beginning of the job. Lesson learned is that I could have done the job with the snake I have if I would have know I could remove that bolt next to the backup drain.

First, I was given a timeline of 9am to 1pm for my service. They did not show up until after 7pm. The service technician that did show up was professional and courteous. He provided quality work very quickly. He explained my options for the fastest service and the least expensive. If I could get the same service tech or someone like him, I will recommend Rotor Rooter for any plumbing needs.

Had major plumbing issues just days from Christmas and they have done great getting here and helping with options to fix out isses. Mark and his crew were fantastic for pipe purposes. They made a very difficult situation seamless and worry free! However, the excavation/demo side for water damage was not fantastic. It was very rushed and not explained. Person items were not handled with care and they shooved items in our basement rat packed into our garage (during a heatwave). All the techs are nice, but we found nails and debris in our driveway and cleanup was sub par. Another tech even just walked into our front door without even calling/texting/ knocking. I'd recommend them for pipe issues, but not anything needing demo or mitigated. Talking to supervisors didn't do anything.

Derrick and a new employee came out to our house and unclogged our basement drain. It took a bit of time and effort but before they left they made sure the problem was resolved. Both were very curtious and did a nice job of cleaning up!

Last week my house’s outside sewer line failed. A team of professionals from Roto Rooter (Bryce, Matt, Ray, Joe, Angel, Brad, and about four others) addressed the problem immediately and were able to fix it in two days. These professional were communicative, explained what needed to be done, explained what had been done, polite, respectful, on time, cleaned up area when done, and pleasant to have around. A backhoe removed and replaced the dirt when repairs were complete. Replacement connections, sewer line, and outdoor cleanouts were constructed with PVC materials. Integrity of inside the sewer line was inspected with a video scope. Water jet cleaning was completed for 165 feet of line connecting to the city sewer. These people were all knowledgeable in their jobs and cooperative with each other. Nice people and quality work is a great combination.

We had our sewer backup and flood the basement, spewing sewage on the carpet and ruining some boxes we had on the floor. I caller Rotor-Rooter and the most pleasant woman showed up to supervise the operation. Her name was Shana and she knew her business. She called my insurance company and filed a claim. Roto-Rooter is an amazing organization, they not only unplugged the clogged sewer line, they arranged to have the old carpet pulled up, the floor cleaned and to have the items in the basement taken away to be cleaned. I am impressed with the way they have responded to our needs.

They were not within the 4 hour time period that they gave me, example; they said between 6:15p-10:15p and showed up at 11:30p. The next time they came they said 8a-12p and didn’t show until 3:30p. As annoying as this can be, I don’t hold it against them. They do the best they can to show up when they can. The reality is you’re put on a waitlist, and they do the best to guess when they will make it to your house. You have to be patient. I was heartbroken to hear how these guys are verbally abused for not making it to you house as fast as possible. But guess what? You’re not the only people with sewer problems. Be patient and they will get to you!!!! We couldn’t use any water, sinks shower or toilet and we remained patient and calm. The two guys who came, Derrick and Dan were very kind, knowledgeable, and did the very best to their abilities. Everything was explained to us in a very honest and compassionate manner. It’s not their fault or our fault that the previous owner left the plumbing in the horrible condition, to the point where an eventual $18,000 of new sewer line needs to be replaced. I feel they were very fair and did their best to give us the best price option for the quick fix of $1,800 to flush the line completely. Eventually we will have to make the decision to sell the house or replace the sewer line. For now, it’s fixed and we will get it flushed out every 6-12 months for as long as we can as we cannot afford the $18,000 to replace the sewer line. I would recommend these guys to my friends and family.

Everyone but me in my neighborhood has had to have the sewer lines replaced, it's all 60 year old tile. I noticed a depression in my lawn and was worried that my line was failing.Terrill came to house next day and scoped the line, finding at least 6 piles of roots growing in and partially blocking the sewer line. Gave me couple different options, including complete replacement, which I know is inevitable at some point.I chose to 1st have the line cleaned out with hydro jetting. He checked the basement and floor drain as well. This house has had to have the house drain cleaned out at least annually since we bought it. He recommended that we take advantage of the pricing for the addition drains and I agreed.He reviewed his plan of attack and went forward with little or no input from me. I thought that he did a very thorough job on each of the drains. They are all running freely. He also recommended the Roto-Rootor Pipe Shield for long lasting protection for my drains and I bought that as well.We have used Roto-Rooter services for years with very few issues. Dion was very professional and explained each project to me as he addressed them. I was always in the loop. He cleaned up after himself; you couldn't tell major plumbing had been done. We are satisfied customers.

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. During the initial call the ETA was approximately 2 hours. Now over 8 hours later, no technician and they couldn't bother to give an update. Over 2 hours I made multiple phone calls for an update until someone finally called back. I understand that techs are busnd wait times can be long, just use common sense and courtesy and give a customer a quick update.

I will not utilize any other plumbing services except Roto-Rooter. Joe, Shana, and their team (Jeff, Bill, Patrick, Renee, and Mike) were courteous, informative and explored all options in fixing a toilet in my parent’s room. Seriously, this professional team will not disappoint you.

My kitchen sink was plugged up, and I could not get it open. It was 3 in the afternoon, and I called Roto Rooter. They had a person here at 5. He came in and looked things over and told me the price. He wore complete PPE which was good as I am a senior citizen. He fixed the clog, cleaned everything up, checked the basement pipes, and then took his equipment to the van. He was friendly and professional. Really a nice person. And the job is guaranteed for 6 months.

Today, I had a competitor fail and telling me he couldn't snake the drain and I would have to cut a hole in the wall and install a clean out then he could come back and jet the line (close to $800). they left after I paid them for their time ($162.90) and called Roto Rooter for a second opinion. Derrick (#4394) did a quick estimate and said he would have no problem. Within a half hour the line was clear and he cleaned up everything, even the smudges that the other guy from the other company left behind. Derrick just gained you another customer by being great at what he does.

The Hot Water Heater pilot wouldn’t light. Another place we called said they couldn’t come before a week!! We contacted Roto-Rooter, and they came in 3 hours!!Paul is incredibly intelligent and professional! We also asked him to take a look at another issue we’ve had with a custom builtin stone shower & tub that no one could solve!Paul thinks he can solve the issue! This is truly a miracle.Roto-Rooter and Paul are now our go-to for all our plumbing needs.

So we had a different company come and clean my drain. They, the guy waving out the back door of his truck said we needed over eight thousand dollars of sewer line repairs. Roto-Rooter found and resolved the problem for around eight hundred dollars. Fool me once, shame on me. I won't be FOOLED twice. Roto-Rooter is the ONLY way to go.

We had a septic backup that happened at night. I called them right away because they advertised 24 hour service. Unfortunately, no one was available until the next morning. The plumber who came was knowledgeable and polite, and he fixed the clog in a couple of hours. However, we were visited by a couple of specialists while the plumber was working. The first one offered to remediate our “extensive” water damage, to the tune of $2000 (we passed, as it was a small area of unfinished space). The second specialist ran a camera through our septic line, and found two areas of breakage in the pipe. They estimated a $5k bill to excavate and replace the pipe. I have a guy coming next week to do it for half that. Unclogging the pipe cost over $700. Bottom line, I think the plumbers know what they’re doing, but customers should be aware of the heavy up-sell activity.

A simple 30 minute drain cleaning turned into a 2 hour ordeal that Francisco and Craig took care of after many repeated tries. The snaking of the bath drain was repeated many times untill the clog was gone. Thanks for not giving up.

Rotorooter is excellent when they complete their service, but their follow up is not so good. In taking care of a friends home in 2017, they committed to sending a camera down our drain, which they did not do. When I called, I was misinformed that it had been completed and that it must have looked good. In 2018, I proved that it was not done and they came and did it. They showed me the condition and suggested work. They promised a video to show to the home owner and an estimate. Nada. Too many chiefs in the organization.

Robert came out to one of our rental properties because the toilet wouldn't flush all the way. He ended up showing my dad what needed fixed so my dad could fix it himself and save us some money. He didn't even charge the normal service fee since it only took him a few minutes. I am not surpirsed they had a newer employee shadowing Robert. He's a stand up guy and a good representation of the company.

We had been wrestling with a sewer backup problem for a few months now. The techs that have been to our home have been great; knowledgeable, attentive to our needs, and above all, friendly. After a few visits to fix the same problem (covered under warranty of course), they sent out the big guns... An inspection crew discovered the cause of our problem and repairs were made the same day! I know you can get a smaller company to do some of the same work for a little less money, but, as the old saying goes, you get what you pay for. We were thrilled at the quick response time (even on a Sunday evening), the available resources, and state-of-the-art equipment. Pair all of that with friendly people, and really, it's a no-brainer.

I'm happy I chose Roto Rooter. Upon my first call, my estimated wait for a Drain Tech was 2 hours. Luckily, he arrived in less than one hour. He listened to my explanation and after a moment's deliberation went to work fixing the badly coupled pipe causing the leak. Pipe repaired, he then set about snaking the clog which, when pulled from its hiding place, was a hair clog resembling a drown rat. He was pleasant, knowledgable, and had great customer service. Called to have them check out a blocked up toilet. Was told the tech would be there by 8pm. 8:20 rolls around and nobody has shown up. I call in to check an ETA and am told the dispatcher is busy and would call me back. Well...an hour passes and no call. So I call a second time and am told the dispatcher is still busy. Unresponsive and unhelpful employees. Don't know how to communicate with customers. I will be calling another plumber in the morning.

We had water all over and desparetely needed a plumber. Bill came over within hours and dealt with our issues. Our older home a perplexing piping issue that Bill handled with patience. In fact, he was delighted to have a new problem to solve! He made sure we had water for the night, then came back first thing the next day with our new water heater. Our laundry room drain line started backing up water onto the floor when running the washer. Joseph came to clear out our drain pipe towards the main line and he was knowledgeable, friendly, and the drain no longer backs up! The technician did clear the clogged sink drain, but he created a total mess in the basement when the drain auger came out of the laundry drainpipe. He only partially cleaned up. I had to use my own wet vac to clean the mess. It took me almost 1 1/2 hours to clean the washer dryer floor and walls.After that, we discovered the drain trap under the sink (he was working on) was leaking. It was not leaking before he came. I called RotoRooter and they would NOT send someone for 2-4 days. Their ad claims 24/7 service. The person I talked to said I would get an email the next day to discuss financial refunding of some of the $400 cost. That email never came.After posting my initial response, RotoRooter contacted me and has offered a full refund.Thank you RotoRooter.

Roto-rooter saved us again. We have a tree from hades out front that insists on growing its roots into our pipes. This will be the 2nd time in a year. Hopefully the tree keeps its roots to itself for a while. They offered to use a camera on our pipes this time to see if there is a better fix than a simple snake every 6 months. The tech, Bob, was very friendly and I enjoyed conversing with him while the work was being done. I will definitely use this company again in the future. Hopefully not too soon...

We appreciated the promptness of Roto-Rooter coming to unplug our kitchen sink. We have called them before to help with plumbing problems. We will call them again.

While trying to figure out where our leak was coming from, they had to take off our door. While trying to remove the wood along the inside of the doorway, they broke both pieces. Now we have to go out and buy new pieces and try to stain them to match the rest of the wood. They also put 2 dents in our wall and took off the paint in those areas.

Called out to fix clog in basement, Brandilon came out was working hard, and then Mark (supervisor)came out with camera, of course wanted $3500 to scrape line. We told he company and them that line was clogged in basement with toilet, floor , shower and washer line all backing up. Never fixed washer line and was suppose to be back out right away, and never showed up or called next morning! Got money and not responsive. Will be calling corporate or owners ro get refund

A most excellent experience with Jeremy today. We had clog in our kitchen sink that was very stubborn.. Jeremy was on time (early, in fact), as well as very knowledgeable. Jeremy provided me with several work options and price points, with no pressure towards any particular choice. We ended up just a simple auguring and the free camera main line inspection (Seriously folks, do these. Could save you a lot of time/money later). The job was completed in a timely manner (even with me jawing at him the entire time). Jeremy even went above and beyond to show me some helpful maintenance tips and some Pipe Shield. We came home on a Friday night to find that our sewer had backed up into the basement covering most of the floor with the backup. While cleaning out the kitchen cupboard, I noticed that my p-trap was in bad condition and leaking. He was totally fine with fixing that instead of installing the new faucet. I had sewage coming up from a shower, he came in tried charging 575 , i got him done to 330, said the job was don and he fixed the line . Shower is still backed up with sewage but hey my toilet flush i guess that more important to him , zero stars if I could

We had a frozen water pipe preventing hot water from reaching our kitchen. For 24 hours I used hot air fans to try to thaw the pipes but to no avail. Roto-Rooter sent Bill to address the problem. Bill was out to my house within 40 minutes, assessed the problem, explained the problem, fixed the problem, and advised on a permanent solution for the future. He was quick, efficient, professional, personable, and helped keep the cost down. I would highly recommend Roto-Rooter and Bill.

This has been the worst company I have ever went with. They came in and tore things up that didn’t need to be and didn’t do things they were suppose to. I reached out several times to reps with no response to get their materials out of my house. These guys are after their own money and not customer service.

Technician (Leon#2551) came out on time, performed the job throughly, all-the-while explaining what the problem was. The estimate was given in the beginning and even though it took several hours; we were not charged more (as we may have expected). A second technician (Scott#2283) was sent to camera the pipe. He made sure to involve us in the session, showing us the finds and afterwards throughly explained what more work was needed to improved the workings. Prompt response. We had a very short notice situation and were given a very acceptable time frame for the arrival. And then they asked soon after that if even earlier would now work! Fast friendly technician Brad quickly assessed the situation, explained what needed to be done and gave us the up front estimate which was a little less than we expected. In a short period of time he was done and on the way.

I detected a leak in my basement above my water heater. Joe arrived on schedule to assess the leak, and get the right man for the job. He used his moisture sensor, and detected a lot of moisture under my bathroom floor. After a 24 hour delay, The first technician Seth diagnosed the leak as the toilets. We called Joe back out to get an estimate for the water cleanup. When the Water Mitigation team arrived, I showed them where I saw the leak, and where Joe had found the moisture. They immediately questioned the toilet diagnosis, and called a supervisor, and they spent the next 25 - 30 minutes looking for the source of the leak, which they discovered behind the shower in my Master Bathroom. They left me with a Hepa Filter in the master to mitigate the Mold while we now had to run this through insurance. Since this was now an Insurance Issue, Joe came back out, called my insurance with me to file the claim, and is taking care of everything now. He called his best guy out to fix the real leak. Bill was incredible! Found the source, replaced everything in that shower that needed replaced, and we are now waiting on insurance to get back to us about how much they will cover before we can get Joe's mitigation team back in to clean, dry, and disinfect. Waiting on all this has been stressful, but I cannot be thankful enough to Joe, Bill, and the Water Mitigation team that showed up. They've really gone above and beyond that first technician that showed up, and I'd be lost without them!

Needed main line cleared. Guy came in and quoted me $350 to snake the drain. He spent about 45 minutes using his machine(which didn’t seem very long). He Said there were still some roots that were tough but the line was draining. Had a specialist swing by with a camera and he said the roots were a problem, and that I would most likely need to have them come back and use the hydro jet for an additional 525 bucks. I’m pretty annoyed that I wasn’t offered to choose which option I wanted to go with up front and I feel like I was mislead and taken advantage of. If my drain backs up anytime soon I fully expect someone to come out and take care of snaking the drain properly because I already paid for this service before the gentleman even mentioned there may be more concerns. Felt disingenuous and like they were trying to force my hand into paying them more money.

Cleaned drain out, but garbage disposal, which we haven't used, is preventing sink to drain.

I put in an online service request at 1 AM on a Sunday morning and the plumber was at my door by 11:45 AM. It was for a clogged main from my kitchen to my main sewage stack. He was finished within 30 minutes.My only issue was the price. Yes, the service comes with a 6 month warranty, but with a $40 discount, the service was still $200. A little steep, but the work was great.

Our drains & toilets were not draining. We had our septic tank pumped but they thought there was a blockage between the main pipe and the septic tank. They recommended Roto-Rooter. I called and a technician was out within an hour (on a Sunday) - Austin. He was great. He found the blockage and cleared it. It took him less than an hour. We would highly recommend Roto-Rooter for your plumbing issues.

Toby the technician was very thorough and even called a water damage inspector out to make sure all was ok. Without asking he applied a coupon to my total. Second time I have used Roto Rooter and they’ll be my go to if there’s a third.

Rescheduled 3 times and never showed up for any appointments. You would think they would take a leak in my ceiling more seriously. The dispatchers continuously scheduled appointments then told me nobody was available when the appointment came. Over the phone they sounded like they could care less. Terrible service

We had Roto-rooter come out and check out our sump pump...the project turned out to be more than expected so the technician helped us set up a more convenient time to complete the project. He promptly returned when scheduled and completed everything quickly and efficiently. This is not the first and probably not the last thing we will have them do for us.

The workers were amazing, this review is for the customer service of the customer contact people. They found a large hole in the pipe and fixed it but the contact person, Terry, was very rude and not accommodating at all. When i asked what time the crew was coming back to finish the job, he lied to me and said they would not be back for 3 days, the crew returned to my house same day, telling me that they were never contacted about my concerns. Terry also asked me why I needed the hole in my front yard filled in today. What do you mean, why? They left a huge hole right next to my front door and the fencing was damaged.They also never came back to finish cleaning the sewer pipe all the way to the street.I will not use them again in the future. The financing is 27% interest and they refused to finance the whole job. This was a stressful situation made worse by the customer service.

Wonderful work and our technician was very kind and helped us to understand why were had the issue we were seeing. We booked our appointment online the night before and were very impressed with the service we received.

Scheduled an appointment for an active waterleak fix and a water clean up. They could not see us until 3 hours later. In the meantime we figured out where problem leak was and stopped it. We then called Roto Rooter to cancel the active leak appointment because we had identified and fixed the leak and was told specifically the clean up appointment still stood. Nobody ever showed up to clean up.

Ray and Rai did an excellent job fixing two problems: toilet repair and laundry drainage cleaning via cabling. They did their work quickly and professionally, courteously answering questions. We got good value for our money.

The repairman did an excellent job clearing my clogged sink. The only issue was that the service did not take place until an hour and a half after the scheduled time. Nevertheless, I'm very pleased.

Wow. That sums it up.Water was coming up from floor drain, from a cloge in the mainline.Called Roto-Rooter. 30 mins later, I was lucky enough to have O'Shay show up. O'Shay was a great professional! Cleared the drain and cleaned everything up. Very, very impressed with the service. And at the end of the job, Roto-Rooter sent out their sewer specialist Bart who ran a camera down my line and gave me great information on how to resolve the issue that caused the cloge. Because of the service from O'Shay & Bart I will only call Roto-Rooter moving forward. Also, the $$$ was much less that other companies I've used in the past. No hinded fee at the last min.

Really appreciate the customer service. Our plumber, Shawn, was really great about offering us the best deal possible and making sure the work got done in a timely fashion. We had our fridge hooked up to a water line and had a sink drain unclogged. I thought the price for the drain was a little steep, otherwise, the price was reasonable. Everyone we spoke to was great!

I initially called to inquire about a quote. Not only did I receive a fair and affordable quote, but I also received information educating me and my family on how to cure contaminated area. I assure you that it is not as simple as you would think. The guys came out and were very down to earth as they described everything step by step in simple terms. I also felt at ease due to the fact that they ran everything by me prior to doing any work. At the end of the job, I paid the lower end of my quoted amount. My home was left clean and in tact, and I was provided contact information in the case of having any futuristic worries. Top shelf service. 10/10. And when we have called the local plumber he would tell us his machine is broken and asks us to call another person that he recommends. And they don't answer or you get a recording. I am through with local and will go with roto rooter from first call.

Chris was professional and understanding about my situation. He suggested a new disposal since my disposal had stopped working ago and was rusted. He replaced the disposal with no issues. Came back and installed a new kitchen faucet as well. He stayed to make sure there was no leaks with the new install.

Never use this company. We were told we needed an entire new sewer line due to damage. They quoted us almost $30,000 to have this done. We called in a second opinion and other company said that type of work is $10,000 max, but we had zero damage to our line. They just didn’t clean it out properly. We refused to pay Roto Rooter for their services. I would give them zero stars if allowed.

I needed quick service before closing on a house, and the technicians were able to come the next day. They did a thorough repair job and cleaned everything up so nicely!

Terrible business, shysters, say work is warranted but called a week later and they won't fix sewer clog up because I wouldn't pay over $3000 to de-scale my lines. I have more issues now than before they came. Don't use.

The service performed was good. I paid my bill in full the same day and even have bank records. A few days later they called requesting payment. The caller requested bank statements and I texted him the statement proving payment. Then he proceeded to talk about a 7k bill. My bill was 800$ for plumbing work under the sink. I called and explained my bill was paid in full and they have my account mixed up with someone else. They eventually figured it out and said they confused mine with another account. Service was awesome but make sure as a customer you keep record of payment just in case any confusion happens after the bill is paid. You don't want to be responsible for a bill you didn't agree to, especially a 7k one.

Plumber did a great job! In and out in less than 40 minutes. Only 3 stars because he didn’t arrive till 1230ish . Way outside our window of 8-10. I know it’s not a guaranteed time frame but couldn’t dispatch text or call and say tech running behind?? Instead I need to call twice to ask if we should continue to wait. Dispatcher says 5min to one hour tech will get ahold of you, hog wash!! Just tell it like it is, you have no idea when he’ll be over because job is taking longer then you guys thought it would, don’t lie. Just keep the customer updated , you dispatch jobs/people send a quick text to your paying customers saying your behind , emergency came up whatever. Heck just communicate!!!!!!! No reason in this day and age your paying customer needs to call several times to find out if we will get service on the day I scheduled it. Again though tech was super good!!And price was right! Next time I’ll take whole day off not half the day.

We had a drain that was backing up, Mark from RR came out and did a great job! He didn't try to sell us anything other than the service we needed, which was a simple drain cleanout (old cast iron pipes that need TLC). Great guy and will use RR again!

Had a kitchen sink in a house we just moved into back up on a Sunday morning, causing problems with the sink, garbage disposal, and dish washer. Roto-Rooter was here within an hour of me calling, and had the problem completely corrected in under an hour.

Issy had some issues installing the garbage disposal but he didn't give up and worked out the issue. He also had some issues with the snake to clean the drain. Again he was able to resolve the issue and got it cleaned. Issy was very professional and didn't complain at all the issues.

The technician Danny (4383) that came out was prompt on the time they said he would. He was very helpful and explained everything he was doing and what it meant. He told me what I could do to stop the problem in the future and let me know what to use. Roto-Rooter has always been my go to for any drain issues and they always take care of it!

The technician that came by my house last week (Derek) was very friendly and very helpful according to my husband. It sounded like he fixed a few other things for us which is great! Derek gets a 5-star rating. The reason for the 3-star rating is because I was dissatisfied with the scheduling of the technicians. Originally, I was told that they would send out a technician between 11-3pm on the day I called (Wednesday, December 27). I then received 2 more calls giving me later times of when a technician would be there until I got one more call stating they wouldn't be able to send someone until the next day. Fortunately, my husband was home since I took the day off from work to get my kitchen plumbing fixed. The next day I received a call stating they haven't forgot about me and will call when they send out a technician. I received no phone call, and two hours later my husband texted me saying a technician stopped by. This is my first time using Roto-Rooter, and even though our technician was excellent, the scheduling of the technicians needs some work.

In a pinch, at the last minute, they came out and were able to resolve our issue! Very professional and great service!

We awoke this morning to a sewage backup in our basement. I called RotoRooter and they had Bob out within an hour. Super friendly guy, super nice, and very helpful. Finished his work quickly and I couldn't be more pleased.

I called to have my drain unclogged. I got a whole lot more than that.The first guy brought the typical wire snake for the drain. When that didn't cut it after 150 feet, he called his sewer guy.That sewer guy, let's call him Dan, moved some things around because I have a kid, and we had no flow to get the jet crew to my house as quickly as they could get there. The jet crew did their thing, and we were still in a bad spot.Come to find out, our entire pipe, from the house to the sewer, was hosed. Dan didn't blow smoke; he told me straight. I appreciate that. I ended up with a huge bill I was not prepared for. Still, because communication flowed freely the entire time, it was an easier pill to swallow.All this while we are in the middle of a pandemic. Kevin, Chase, Jose, and Richard were on the crew that worked hard to install a new drain pipe from my house to the street after an ugly Super Bowl back-up. They were respectful, knowledgeable, polite, efficient, hard working young men. They were punctual and produced quality work. They cleaned up the work area better than I would have done. Excellent customer service.

We tried to set up the job to be done several times, was told people would show up, then didn't. We were told after the job that the guy who did the work would come back for final payment. Two weeks past, and he called on the phone and rudely asking us for payment, as if we were the problem. Then I was told to call the office to give payment to Kelly. When I called Kelly, got her answering machine at 3:30 pm and when tried to leave message the mailbox was full so I could not leave a message. Not a good experience, I hope the work will last.

When I talk to them on the phone they were extremely helpful. They got me scheduled in same day. And was even able to move my appointment forward. Their techs were very professional and diligent in their work.

The team was phenomenal! Our house flooded due to a bellied pipe in the main line. Jodi came in and told us what all steps needed to be taken and that they would manage it all. The service here is nearly full turn-key (restoration will be done by different company).They fixed the pipe in the front yard, cleaned the black water from the home with microbial too, hired a 3rd party company (United) to move all our items to storage until the renovation was completed, removed the damaged materials (worked from 8:30am-9pm until it was completed in one day), and came over daily to check on the drying and moisture readings. We’ve been blown away by RotoRooter’s service and felt so much at ease knowing they took care of us. We would have been lost without them considering we had no idea what to do. We also really appreciated how much Josh and his team worked hard removing all the materials in one day. I work from home so this was great by having one less day of demolition in the background. We had Roto-Rooter out a couple of times last month for the same issue, and both technicians were wonderful. With our first visit, Adrian cleaned out a drain that was causing an odor in our laundry room, and recommended a product called PipeShield to help with the odor as well. He was very polite and professional, and didn't push when we decided not to go with the PipeShield. A few days later, the odor was still there so we had another tech out, Kevin. Kevin performed a troubleshooting routine and consulted with a colleague, and came to the same recommendation Adrian had for us: PipeShield. We went ahead with it this time, and it worked great for both the laundry room and our kitchen sink. The bottle we purchased is good for 64 treatments, so we continue to use it anytime the odors return. We're happy with the product and very happy with the service from both Adrian and Kevin. A little pricey, but I am very happy with the service and the clean drain!

My service tech, Derek was very professional and very helpful. We had an emergency and he was there within 45 minutes to take care of us. He gets five stars in my opinion. The call service was also helpful. My reason for 4 stars is due to the fact the the restoration sales man was not needed and he was trying to sell us into $10,000 worth of restoration work that was not needed at all. I was more than disappointed in that regard. Everything else was great, especially Derek.

I had a clogged kitchen drain that progressed to the bathroom. The snake didn’t want to make the correct turn in the pipe. Mike and Nic diagnosed the problem and stuck with it until they were able to clear the clog. Both men were polite, courteous, and professional. They kept me informed as to what they were doing and cleaned everything up when they were done. Great job! I highly recommend them if you have any plumbing issues!

I called on a Sunday night (8pm~) after noticing a broken valve underneath my sink that had a slow drip. They scheduled me for a morning to 1pm window on the next day (Monday). The service rep wasn't able to make it until noon on Tuesday, but the dispatch called me twice on Monday to update me and let me know what's going on with them not being able to make it that day.Pricing was transparent ($319/hr at time of writing before the $75 can discount), and it was fixed within the hour. Brad, my service rep, was super knowledgeable and definitely had my best interest in mind.

Nathan arrived within an hour of us calling, and was very professional and helpful. We had water coming up through a drain and he quickly figured out the source of the problem and fixed it. It was on the pricey side but we needed the repair done ASAP to avoid water damage to basement, and it was worth it since they came out immediately on a Friday night. We are very appreciative and though we hope it won’t happen again, we would use them again in an emergency like this!

When Shawn from Roto-Rooter showed up, he got right to it and took care of our blocked floor drain. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and got the problem taken care of. My only complaint would be that we had to wait two days before anyone could come out and that it was scheduled between 8 and noon and he finally got here around 1:30. Their dispatch did call and let us know that the tech was running late though and kept us informed on estimated time of arrival. We would definitely recommend Roto-Rooter!

I am posting this review because I had a particularly tricky plumbing issue that ended up lasting eight days. Throughout this Roto-Rooter made good on their word and had someone out to my house working on it every day until it was fixed. Since my ground floor flooded they offered flood mitigation services. I would like to recognize Jake and his team for their hard work cleaning up my house and with how well they worked with my insurance. Thanks guys!

I placed a call yesterday to line up a plumber for some simple work. I was told that a plumber would be here at 12:00 today but he did not show up until 2:30. We had Brad as our plumber and he did a very professional job and fixed the minor problems we were having. Even though there were no parts used and Brad was here for 20 minutes, 10 of which were used billing us the charge was $190 which is their rate per hour and 1 hour is minimal. Next time we will use Burton as they are good too and much more reasonable.

The team replace our service line with good strong material and replaced the concrete that was torn out. However the timeliness wasn’t the great for them to start the project. From when we were told they would be at our house, we had to wait an additional 2 1/2 weeks on top of the original week. Once they arrived, they were done in 2 days for the whole sewer line replacement.

Very great service. Called on a weekend with standing water in laundry room and they were at my place within the hour and got it all corrected. Really appreciated the professionalism and responsiveness.

I had a sewer back up backup on a Friday at 2PM. After calling multiple plumbing companies and being told I would have to pay extra to get them out here that day I tried Rotor Rooter. RR made it out here in 30 minutes, helped me get my insurance claim in, and then ran a camera down my main to make sure the line wasn't bad. Thankfully the pipe is fine just had a backup issue. I highly recommend RR for your plumbing needs.

Made an appointment. Said they would be there the same day between 8am and 12pm. Called at noon to check on the status of the technician. Lady said they only had one technician for my job and she would call to let me know when he was on his way. Called again at 3pm and they said no one was coming. No updates. Had to call every time. Took the day off work to be at my house. And to top it off, the lady in dispatch made no apologies. Completely unprofessional. Just sat at my house all day and waited. Used a PTO day based off of what they told me. If they knew they were short technicians, they could have called and said so. I would have rescheduled and went in to work for the rest of the day.

Ray was not only super prompt and professional, he was very communicative about what the actual problem was, and fixed it incredibly fast. I would definitely recommend him again for similar services.

Initially called overnight because the website says 24/7 service, and that there's no difference in price between emergency vs routine service. Problem was that main line was backing up. When I called for service however, I was told that there was no drain technician on-call that night. So it seems 24/7 service really depends on your problem. That said, they did get me in first thing in the morning and while the problem isn't fixed just yet, the problem has been mitigated. The technician that came was personable and seemed to know what he was doing. If I hadn't had the experience I had last night, this would be a 4-5 star review.

I contacted Roto-Rooter for service that I needed done the same day. Within approximately one half hour, Phil Ring, plumber, was at my house. He was very proficient, professional and polite. Roto-Rooter is very fortunate to have him as an employee.

Robert/ Craig did a great job would use him again. He has been to my house before and this is the second time and always does a such wonderful job and good work.

Too pricey $355 for an already exposed drain, nothing in the way. I had a snake but I just couldn't dropped it into the T drain where the clog was. It took them less than 5 minutes. The only time I'll use their service again would be in case of emergency and any other service is booked.

Jeff was awesome and saved us THOUSANDS!! He got down and dirty going under our porch trying his best to find out what the problem was before throwing the whole shower away and telling us we need a whole remodel. We are grateful for his work and care for the customer and not just a onetime big dollar sign and has customers for life!

Been a disaster so far. They did get the main open after two visits. Problem is there technician forgot to put the washer drain tube back in the drain tube so flooded two rooms. They are in the process of trying to dry out the drywall. Had to pull up the carpet pad and throw it away.They also broke a piece of door molding pulling up the carpet. It's been a week so far. Haven't been able to use 3 rooms in my basement due to 7 noisey fans running 24_7. Found out all the stuff they moved to pull up the carpet is my responsibility to put back. They are definitely going to compensate me for all cost associated with this mess.They tell me they will. We will see. As of right now fans still running.

Fast response, a serviceman arrived within an hour of me contacting them to give a free estimate on the leak I had encountered. It ended up being a simple fix that only required a small part to repair. On their website you can get a coupon for $35 off any service but I didn't even have to use it because they charged me NOTHING!!I used the chance to get another estimate on installing a shower in my bathroom and the quote was reasonable enough I'll be calling them again soon to install the equipment and this time I'll get to use my $35 coupon :)

Nick arrived on time, he listened to me (big plus) and got right to work. He verbalized what he thought might be the problem and ruled different things out. He got us an estimate person to come out within minutes, in case he was unable to clear our floor drain.

Roto Rooter has serviced our house 4 times for the same exact issue, which has yet to be resolved. We are still under warranty (considering their last visit was 8mos ago) and are having the same back-flow issue reoccur. Not to mention they demoed the house for $5K, didn’t clean any of their mess up..my husband and I had to. Also had a technician break the toilet bowl lid in front of me during this demo and stated in between his laughter: “Oh, don’t worry, that will be covered under homeowners insurance!” After their services from the first visit, we spent $10K (that we didn’t have) on replacing our sewer line, (which was where they said the back-flow was coming from), only now to have the back-flow issue come back as mean as it did the first time. The back-flow flooded our basement under 2in of water THREE times now (3rd time being last night). When I called them to get the on-call tech to our house so we could shower, wash our hands & flush the toilet w/o the drain back-flowing and flooding our basement, the on-shift supervisor told me to ‘Calm down. Our on-call technician is finishing his last house of the night and is going home, the earliest I can have someone to your house is 9am.’ She refused to let me speak to a manager or get any manager’s info then proceeded to hang up on me when I was trying to express my concerns of our things in the basement being ruined and that I would be highly upset about it. Of course, no one showed this morning (nor today in general) and I had to speak with the on-shift supervisor today to submit a formal complaint, get a technician out here and to get a manager’s info. *Still waiting on the on-call tech to arrive and for a manager to give me a call*Highly recommend not using this company. Worst experience we have had to date, time wasted and $ lost.-58 out of 0 rating.

All the employees were very nice. They were able to get to me the day I called, even though it was not emergency. They put plastic down to protect the carpet from messing with walking in and out of the house. They said someone would come by every day and some sure did come every day. They help with making the claim to my insurance for the damages. Would use again.

Basement drain was backing up and flooding the basement. Jeremy and Dylan cleaned the crud out of our sewer pipe so it would drain properly. They were both pleasant, competent, and thorough. If we ever need Roto Rooter agia, I hope you send the same two guys. They were great!

They didn't show up during the time of service that they said so i was wasn't all day. Then proceeded to say I lied about a missed call when I asked why they didn't show up. Finally they over charged me for parts that weren't replaced. Never going to use the buisness ever again! Might as well be a scam.

(Original posted July 21) Terrible terrible terrible! I contacted them Monday (July 17) for a leaking toilet as the flange is broken. They scheduled me for Wednesday the 19th from 10am to 2pm. 5pm rolls around and no one has showed up or contacted me. I call and get the run around from dispatch who informs me they are very behind schedule and they will stop by Thursday morning. Well by 3pm Thursday I haven't had anyone show up or contact me. So I call back. Again, I get sent to dispatch who informs me they tried contacting me many times and couldn't reach me but I have been rescheduled to Friday (today) due to no availability and hung up. I had no missed phone calls or voicemails. It's now 3pm and NO ONE HAS BEEN HERE OR CONTACTED ME. My toilet has been broken and unusable since Sunday. They are unprofessional and unreliable. Will not ever use again or recommend to anyone.ETA (July 24): they just called me and apologized for being so behind and tried to reschedule me for Wednesday. A full 10 days after I first contacted them (and 11 days without my toilet being usable) My toilet is currently getting fixed by someone else so I declined the appointment because they still don't think my issue is a problem or important.

Holland was absolutely awesome. Helped with everything that was clogged and was as friendly as could be. Will be asking for him specifically if I have any issues in the future.

I cannot give a poor enough review. DO NOT USE ROTO ROOTER.We experienced an overflow from a basement drain and toilet. My husband called roto-rooter and they did arrive promptly. They assessed our pipes and informed my husband we had corrosion and cracker pipe where the main stack meets the line traversing our yard. A second person was called over to our home who proceeded to tell my husband it was a $10,000 repair. He was pushy and asked my husband for a $5000 check before he left and kept asking him to sign some docusign documents. We decided to get another quote and did not give him a check for the assesses repair or sign the documents. My husband did give them a $624 check for illegible services.The next morning the city utility company came to our home and spray painted the yard marking the utility lines (we recognize this is the law for a repair but we did not authorize a repair or request this) before we were even awake..The floor drain continued to overflow and I called roto-rooter. The person I talked to, Ashley, was professional and kind on the phone. She stated she would have Bob call shortly. Bob never called. Ashley texted me later to ask if anyone had reached out. When I said no, she said she would escalate to management and someone would call me. No one ever called. Still no one has called.In the meantime, I called another service to our home to assess the situation. He has been in the business 40 years. He said there is no cracked pipe and we did not need the repair. Furthermore, he cleared the soft clog that rotorooter failed to assess in the floor drain. He also showed me the camera going through the pipes and we looked at the pictures together.The next morning (day 3) my husband (not me) received an email stating roto rooter was on their way to our home. When my husband called the office, he was informed that he had called them at 7:26 that morning. This was all blatantly false.We feel absolutely bamboozled. There may be some bad eggs in the company, but they wanted $10k to dig big holes in our yard for pipes that did not require repair. I am sure the $624 check that was already cashed was also for false services and they were not even thorough enough to clear the the floor drain line that was overflowing.I would have been able to relay all of this to their management had they called me back. Crooks.I cannot overstate enough NOT to use roto rooter and will likely be contacting the national customer service as well.

Unfortunately, my main sewer line had a break in it. I called Roto Rooter and They came out the same day and located for me. Wes was great to work with. He was very informative with all of the options and did not push me to go any specific route. They got the whole project done in a very timely manner.

It was an ok visit by an ok technician. He left a small puddle behind his unclogging that I had to clean up. He also spilled my dogs water bowl and left it for me to clean up. As for the repair, the cost was excessive for what was needed, but the unfreezing of the blockage was completed and it was an overall ok experience.

Our hot water went out. I tried, unsuccessfully to fix it myself. They came out the very next morning and replaced my old water heater. It was almost 20 yrs old. They were in and out in one day. Polite, kind and even comfortable with my dog. 10 out of 10.

The two reasons I gave it 4 stars is because I was supposed to have my toilet fixed on April 14, 2023, but I got pushed to Monday (April 17, 2023 then pushed to Tuesday (April 18, 2023) I talked to a manager named Jim, and he was able to give me a discount for the service which helped a lot. The plumber named Paul came out and did a great job and I appreciate his professionalism and understanding. I will definitely consider using the service again due to those two gentlemen providing me actually good customer service.

Shawn came out to take a look at our sump pump. He was professional and quick and provided us with good information and options. He completed the replacement, ensured it was working well, and sealed the entire thing in less than 2 hours. We now have piece of mind that it works well. Overall it ended up very reasonably priced, professional, and efficient

I notice low water pressure in my shower. Paul came out and checked my water pressure. Turns out water pressure was just fine. Paul was knowledgeable and explained what the cause was for noticing the change in water pressure. He gave me some things to think about for my system in the future, but also easing my mind to tell me that I didn’t have to do anything immediately. Great service! Will call again!

They were able to get to us sooner than we were told when we booked and our service technician was friendly, efficient, and very professional. If I could give 100 stars, I would. I have never been as impressed with a service business, as I was with RotoRooter. The three gentlemen that came to our company's rescue were Lucas, Terry and Matt. In our small business, the toilets were not flushing and we were having some difficulties. First, Lucas diagnosed the issue. Then he called in a sewer line expert (Terry) and it was decided that the sewer line needed to have a jet water power clean out. Matt and Lucas worked on that and after completing the task, put the toilet back together, cleaned and mopped the restroom floor, cleaned the sink top, emptied the trash can and asked me for a trash bag so he could replace the trash bag. The professionalism of all three men was off the charts spectacular. Each man was well informed and very knowledgeable. Each man was very polite and humorous. These days it is difficult to find one outstanding employee, but to have all three be superb is unbelievable!!! This is one of those situations where I hope I NEVER have to call them again, but if I ever have to, I most certainly will and I will definitely be telling ALL of my friends and family that I had a TOP NOTCH experience with RotoRooter, Lucas, Terry and Matt. Friendly and quick. Felt bombarded by 2 unexpected salespeople. Tried to quickly get me to sign a paper for a very expensive repair. Cost was bit high as well. I needed someone on a weekend and they were great getting here quickly.

We called after having water back up in our basement. I was worried about having to wait overnight because I had just gotten off work. Roto Rooter had 2 techs in the area and were on our property within an hour of the call being placed. Both techs were professional and explained everything that they would be doing. 45 mins later they were done with everything working properly. A++

Our floor drain backed up. Rotorooter came the next day, which was less than ideal, but understandable since this occurred over the holidays. The tech was polite and professional and snaked the drain with minimal fuss and no (additional) mess. Unfortunately, the drain backed up again two days later, flooding the basement a day after I had cleaned everything. Rotorooter sent a tech out within the hour, which was great, but clearly the problem wasn't resolved. The tech is snaking the drain again now.

Had them out to clean main drain last May did a good job, had them back in February 2019 all they wanted to do was up sale, didn't clean main line but charged me $400. And lied about what they did to their boss. I'll never use them again, they need to get the first guy back, or train the new ones. Beware they over charge and don't do what they say they did.

Had a soft blockage on my main sewer line, they came out and got it cleared very quickly. Technician was excellent, explained everything they were doing. Also determined the cause of our clog and gave us tips for mitigating future clogs. Professional and courteous from beginning to end. Our technician was also very conscious of COVID as well as very careful in our carpeted home. When someone talks about bringing a 300lb sewer machine into your home with white carpets there is a little part of you that panics, but there equipment was remarkably clean and they took every precaution to keep things clean. 10/10 would definitely unclog with again!

We had a DIY toilet replacement gone wrong. Jeff was super nice, explained everything step by step and even called in Joe to check water damage and tell us we didn't need to replace our flooring. No pressure for the sale after he gave the estimate and got the job done quickly after he got the parts needed. Only reason not to have 5 stars is that it was a little more expensive than we were expecting. But we will definitely call them again next time we fail at our DIY projects!

have used them before and was good. Today they showed up without the call before and was rude to lessor. They left and when I called they tried to charge me double. I asked to talk to manager but there was not response. Will not use again

Brad showed up soon after his notification that he was en route and was a professional from the start. Courteous, clean, and competent! He had the area prepped for work, the drain access open and was at it with the auger in no time. He successfully cleared out my clogged main and went above and beyond to call in a camera for a closer look, as he had identified a couple of troubling spots along the line while snaking. I'm glad he did. He was correct in questioning the integrity of the piping, as I am now aware my 4inch main is more like a 2inch, scale-coated, toilet paper catcher instead of a free flowing path to the sewer. Two thumbs up for Brad and Rotorooter on this one!

We had a clogged kitchen sink that started backing up into a second clogged sink. Their plumber Jeff did a fantastic job of clearing both sinks and fixing the plumbing to correct a bigger issue with our plumbing in the initial problem sink. He was in and out in less than 2 hours and we couldn’t be happier!

Roto rooter came out to my house, augered out my toilet and was in and out in less than 1/2 hour. $175 later, my toilet is working like a charm and I now have them scheduled to work on my outgoing waste stack to fix what is wrong with it on Monday.Great work guys! Great payment policies as well. If the toilet auger hadn't worked, they would NOT have charged me. I have used them before and am always impressed with their professionalism, from the phone admins to the plumbers themselves, everyone works together for the customer!

Very polite professional and quick resolution to a drain issue on Christmas Day. The technician was knowledgeable and clearly very good at what he does. Left with no mess and no clog.

I called the night before and they had a Ray out first thing in the morning. He was friendly and knowledgeable and went over everything he found. Ray got to work on what he could, and called Paul out to help him. They both put in a good 8 hour day getting what they could done and calling in additional help for what they couldn’t. Joe came in to help with the water damage claim, Eric checked the main sewer line out, and Nickolas spent a lot of time removing the damage and cleaning/disinfecting. Everyone put in hard work and was extremely pleasant and friendly while doing so. It was a trying day for us, but not at all because of the team that came to help!

The crew was very professional, courteous, and prompt! They came out on a Sunday and handled everything! It was a one stop shop! They took care of the overflow, the clean up, restoration and the insurance claim. I would highly recommend their services to anyone.

Roto Rooter was able to schedule a service call for the day after I called, compared to a wait of at least three days and five days respectively from two other highly regarded plumbing companies. Paul, the service technician who arrived on time, was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The work Paul performed solved our problem and was done in a timely fashion to our satisfaction. We will definitely contact Roto Rooter first for plumbing services if we have another need in the future.
