Myers installed a backflow prevention device which metro water required us to fit in relation to a pool auto fill. They came out and advised me on the metro codes and that i would need a variance for some locations of the install and how to work with metro water on this. it was excellent service and i now have a backflow device working, passed metro tests after a successful variance was approved. super knowledgeable and helpful. i never had any concern with their knowledge or trusting their expertise or work.

We've used them several times, great work,very trustworthy and dependable.

Edit/Update:They sent 5 different techs out to my house 5 different times and no one could fix my heating issue (and each tech had a different reason he thought the heat was out, and tried to sell me on something totally different and more expensive than the last) but after several calls into corporate, I was able to get a full refund from them. So I don't recommend ARS because their techs are more like salesmen than people who know what they are doing...but they do at least they honor their refund policies and I do appreciate that.

I am giving 3 starts not for the work they performed but for the attitude with their secretary which I believe is the wife of Wayne Owens. This company came to our rescue in Sept for a leak at our meter on our side of course. The son came out and he was great, and quick! Yesterday we awoke to no water in our house, in the 6years we have been in our home we have never had frozen pipes. Not knowing a thing about plumbing I thought maybe it was because the pipe that was replaced was metal and what he put in was PVC, so I called and left a message asking if that could be it. I found out about 20mins later that there was a large water leak up the street from my house effecting my water, so I quickly called back and left another message to explain. A day later I received a call from the secretary accusing me of saying they used substandard parts which is not what I said at all I was merely asking a question regarding if that could be why my pipes froze since that is the only thing that was different. Her snarky tone and the fact that she called me just to tell me about how they don't use substandard materials was just really uncalled for. If anything was needed at all it should have been is everything ok with your water now and hey just FYI the difference in material wouldn't make your pipes freeze anymore than the other. But instead I got rude and snarky. They have lost my business completely, again love the work the guys perform but really she needs better customer service.

I want to recommend 2 excellent technicians at Jewell - Curly and Joshua Soto. My HVAC has been intermittently failing when the heat comes on. Joshua discovered that the problem was an electrical issue with the disconnect box rather than an issue with the HVAC unit itself. I was impressed, as no other technician had been able to figure out the problem for years. I scheduled a time with Jewell to have it replaced, and Curly came and did an amazing job. Curly also spent a lot of time with me afterwards showing me how the fuses fit more tightly in the new disconnect box, which will keep it from generating heat and blowing out fuses in the future. I recommend asking for Curly or Joshua Soto when you call Jewell.

During bathroom remodel, they failed to cap and remove old hot water pipe and turn off valve. Area was then completely walled in. Of course, later, this valve started to leak requiring emergency repair, damage to drywall, high water bill, and mold in crawlspace. They did not offer compensation. Also during the project two people worked on site and spoke no English. Luckily there was another contractor on site that could translate. I would not recommend this company.
