The tech did a good job of explaining what he was going to do and was very open about costs, and findings. The only issues I had are that the tech did not have tools to cut out and try to save the bottom shelf in my cabinet where the cleanup drain is located and he was also a little too broad shouldered to get in the cabinet to clean the mess caused by the roots that he pulled out of the drain.

They were able to fit me in within an hour of my basement taking on water from a clogged laundry drain. Nikola did quick and excellent work clearing the drain and the water. Thomas also came out to review water restoration options and advise me on how to mitigate mold growth. They were both friendly and professional, wearing PPE and maintaining distance. Glad to have a six month guarantee on the work as this drain has given us problems before. Would highly recommend.

I called late on a Sunday evening because one of our bathroom sink valves inexplicably broke and was spraying water all over the bathroom. I expected them to charge an arm and a leg for an emergency visit but Ken calmly talked me through a quick fix that would hold us over until Monday morning when a technician could come during regular hours. Our tech, Corey, came over right away on Monday morning and fixed the issue. Ken saved us hundreds by talking me through a fix instead of sending someone and Corey was awesome and fixed the pipe within 30 minutes. I was blown away by how quickly they were able to respond and help. I highly recommend!!!

Great experience. John Wang (senior plumber) came promptly and gave some very honest advice about the project I was hoping they would take care of for me. In the end, it wasn't feasible given our current plumbing set up, but I was struck by Discount's overall responsiveness. Called roto rooter on Memorial Day as our lower level stool had over flowed into our basement. Help arrived within the hour. Brian did an excellent job of explaining the problem and finding out that our main line was plugged.He was able to open the clog which resolved the problem.Job well done!

Fast and quality service from Tim! I was given a 4 hour window, and was called 30 mins before the technician arrived, which is great as a mother of 2 kiddos and a big dog! They let me know what the toilet was clogged with, a rubber ducky! So now I will be sure to keep better track of when bath toys are out. Prices are better than other companies, and they even let you use an online coupon. I will certainly use them again in the future, but hopefully we won't have to 😜

Matt came out to look at our sewer line after Drainbusters horribly and unprofessionally misdiagnosed a branch pipe as a hole in the line. Matt took his time talking with us, examining our basement structure to help us figure out that the hole was actually a branch line from our floor drain. I highly recommend contacting Matt- he was extremely professional and informed. His integrity impressed both my husband and I.

Bonfe gouged me $530 for a snake and scope that just ended up backing up 1 month later. After the scope, the BONFE technician was very abrasive and tried to get me to spend (not kidding) $25,000 on repairs. His tactic was to scare me and get me to sign on the dotted line.

Polar opposites of Ken's Sewer Service. They were very professional and fair. At the end of my hydro-jetting of my sewer line, the technician showed me the video and explained the nature of my old pipes without trying to get me to do anything extreme. In fact, he didn't try to sell me on anything. He did the job right and left. Look no further than Ken's!

We were VERY happy with Ron the Sewer Rat, the biz and the best of techs, Jordan. Everyone was very professional and personable, honest, responsive and did a thorough job -- and made sure we were satisfied. We had a sewer back up in our basement on a Father's Day Sunday and had another (franchise) company come out to provide emergency service -- which ended up being just a camera scoping, and subsequent pressuring to sell a major and expensive job. We thought it wise to get many estimates and became more confused and concerned as we received various proposals for different types of work, all very expensive and which likely would destroy our 20+ year established native plant garden, 2 trees and a retaining wall. In the meantime, we found that our drain had not even been minimally cleaned, just scoped! Hoping for an honest appraisal, and needed drain clean out, and with referrals from satisfied neighbors, we called Ron the Sewer Rat, who thoroughly cleaned our drain and gave us an honest assessment of the situation and what may need to be done. We still may need major work correcting a pipe offset at some point in the future -- but it is a future we can plan for and in the meantime enjoy summer and our garden. Wish we would have gone with Ron the Sewer Rat from the start -- this would have saved us considerable confusion, money and stress. My recommendation would be for this biz to consider weekend work -- most of us would be willing to pay extra. Highly recommending this local and family owned biz!
