Very quick, professional and overall a very nice guy.
Bradley came within 30 minutes of calling the company, and was very professional, and let me know what the costs were up front. About 15 minutes later, he had my shower drain flowing again. If this happens again in the future, I will call Roto-Rooter again.Plus, if my drain gets clogged again within 6 months, the drain clearing is free of charge!This company is highly recommended.

For timeliness and efficiency they get 5/5. For pricing they get 0/5. Less than $20 worth of parts, 25 minutes in and out. $495. That was the cost to repair my fill valve and flapper in my toilet. No value what so ever. Professional, responsive and efficient, yes. Value, none.

This was my first time needing to hire a plumber. I read reviews and decided to go with them. What a mistake! I was completely taken advantaged of. The plumber scratched my door, scuffed up my floor and made a big mess. He charged me $30 for a drain cap, which I found out is actually $5 at Home Depot (wish I would've known that earlier). After removing his equipment he sat in his truck for 20 minutes looking at his cell phone. I was overcharged for services. I will NEVER use this company again! BUYER BEWARE!

I called Roto Rooter to clean out a backed up sewer drain in my laundry room. They were available the same day I called and sent a technician out within hours. Bradley was great to work with and knew his stuff. They are more expensive than people I have used in the past, (the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5) but previous solutions didn’t work very well either. I am optimistic that we will see better results now because of the service from Roto Rooter.

The employee was very courteous and professional. The company and employee continued to call with a status of when they will arrive. He worked until the job was completed, which took longer than anticipated. Up front we knew were paying by the job not the hour.

I had a major clog, preventing any water in my household to drain, on a Sunday evening. I called everyone else in the area and most either had nothing available for a couple of days or did not work on Townhomes. Roto-Rooter not only had a technician out to my house within an hour, but they also did not charge me additional for weekend emergency house call. The technician had me cleaned and cleared within 2 hours and I was able to continue my business. The pricing maybe have been more than if I could have shopped around or waited a couple days, but everything else they did for me was more than worth the costs.
Juan the technician that came out was very professional courteous and explain information in detail for me on what needed to be done. Juan also he went out his way to show me shut off valves and things that I needed to know but I did not. He was very professional knowledgeable and was willing to show me an answer all questions. I could not have had a better experience with Juan.

Called for a service on a toilet to remove a toy car. You don't get an estimate when you call. They have a service line that then has dispatch call you within an hour. I had to call back the next day as I never received a call from dispatch. They were quick once They transferred me. The technician came and was very nice. But the cost to remove the toy from the toilet cost me almost $800 for less than 2 hours of work. They charged $600 to simply remove the toilet. Talked to my contractor that recommended them and he stated, he used them to them to drill through concrete in a drain that only cost $200, surely that was more labor intense. He confirmed that I was absolutely ripped off with this service.

I am changing my review due to the fact that the owner of roto rooter called me personally and worked to make the situation better. See below.This part of the service is what I gave 2 stars to.Sewer line was starting to back up. Roto rooter called to snake the drain. They did arrive on time. They ended up getting the snake cable caught in the line so they cut the cable by the basement clean out and left it sticking out of the drain.. And said they were not responsible for getting it stuck and I would have to have the street dug up were the city line meets my line. I was told it would cost $10,000 to dig up the street to remove their sewer snake cable that was stuck. I said I would need to think about what to do next. For this they charged me $379.00.I talked to the city's utility superintendent they came out and put a camera down the line and it showed that the roto rooter cable was way into the city line and twisted up so it would not be able to be pulled out. The city superintendent talked to the owner of roto rooter and explained everything while the city crew also tried to remove this cable. No luck after many hours of trying, and they would come back in the morning. The owner of roto rooter then sent their sewer solution specialist to talk with me and he said he would be back in the morning with a technician to try and remove the cableSo this morning on schedule the roto rooter specialist and one of their best technicians arrived and resent the camera down the line and confirmed the location of the end of the cable was into the city sewer line. After a short time of manipulating the camera cable and the cut off snake cable thats was left in the line they were able to actually dislodge it and pull the damaged cable out of the line. So no need to dig up the street.

I had a pin hole leak in my copper pipe that comes out of my hot water heater. The plumber replaced 4 feet of copper tubing that took 45 minutes to do the job. It cost me 650 dollars. I will not be using Roto-Rooter again. I felt ripped off.

Poor experience with this company. My girlfriend and I needed to have a dryer install. I wasn’t able to be present while plumbers were there, but they examined the dryer and venting. Roto staff went on to hand my girlfriend a quote for $850 + parts. I came out of my meeting and told them that this was too much, and not sure why it would be this expensive. Staff told me that they needed new gas piping and new venting items, that’s why it was so much. I went on to find another plumber that reviewed piping and venting and installed everything for $50. Not sure if they wanted the free $65 to just come out or trying to pull a fast one on a female. Very poor experience with them.
Curtis did an awesome job. We had blockage in our plumbing from the garbage disposal which was causing the water to not drain. Curtis diagnosed the problem and fixed it. Had everything put back together in an hour or so. Great experience from the initial call to the service.

Our tech, Brad, was at our home within 3.5 hrs of requesting an appointment. He was efficient and helpful (checking to be sure nothing leaked following the snake through our drain) and also helped us get our garbage disposal working again to ensure the entire drain/system was in working order. My drain started backing up Friday at noon on 7/3. I was having my nieces and some other family over for the weekend and new we couldn't go without water. Had a very minor sump pump issue. Repair was made in about 10 minutes. The technician was courteous and professional. But, the price for the service was way more than anticipated. $355 (with a $75 discount) for about 20-30 minutes of total time at the house. Probably will not use roto rooter again.

Terrible roots, will cost $17,000+ to fix them, but we can just take of the big root for $12,000+ and I won't report the others.Fine. Involve me in a fraud, so I won't be able to complain later on.Roto Rooter email: no video, just a contract for work.Called Ron The Sewer Rat, who sent out Hessien Plumbing. Pipe is fine, just needs biannual cleaning.I recommend the latter two, and implore you to avoid Roto Rooter

Charged me $400.00 to unclog a floor drain. I was leaving town the next day so I had no choice fearing flooding. There was about 1 gallon of water on the top of drain. Asked to flush toilet approx 5 feet away worked fine, not main service, Here about 1 hour found lint in drain. I googled floor drain cost average cost $150 to 200. Gave me some BS on a special deal that I may qualify for refunding $$$ spent if I left a good review. If you have time get estimates,

We had a plugged kitchen sink. Their website advertises sink unplugging for $94. I called them and had an appointment the following day. When on-site, the plumber said he would recommend using a jet cleaner instead of a regular mechanical snake. $560!!!Than he said he needs to replace the S trap under the sink (I found later that it costs $20 at Home Depot) and he spent 15 minutes to change it. An additional $375. When I said this was not the right price, he said I don’t charge you for the parts and the labor, I charge you for the experience.Do not use this company. At least this plumber was abusing the situation.

Super happy with the responsiveness of the customer service and technician. They are always very timely and it’s appreciated! We had a tech come out and snake our main sewer line. Unfortunately, he forgot to secure the main line cover and we had water coming out into one of our carpeted rooms and will have to replace that carpet now. The tech that came to fix that issue was helpful and timely.
I was able to get my drain cleaned same day. The worker was great and didn’t waste any time. The worker explained what went wrong and how to prevent it from happening in the future.

They were able to fit me in within an hour of my basement taking on water from a clogged laundry drain. Nikola did quick and excellent work clearing the drain and the water. Thomas also came out to review water restoration options and advise me on how to mitigate mold growth. They were both friendly and professional, wearing PPE and maintaining distance. Overflow of basement floor drain, when the water backs up into basement with every drain usage, means a call to a plumber.It was 5 pm on a Wednesday night. Upon my third call to a plumbing service, I was transferred to Roto Rooter. It was a bit confusing that is who I was talking to, but after getting a technician call within 15 minutes I was happy. Within 30 minutes of my call, a professional plumber arrived ready to solve my problem. While I could watch videos to attempt to figure this out, this homeowner doesn’t need to tackle this skill.He was able to determine the problem, we discussed the cost for this service and with a trip to the truck was able to ‘snake’ the drain freeing the blockage.My only minor concern was the cost of service, which is the reason for only 4 stars.During the discussion with the technician, I found he was on a regular shift, 2 pm until midnight. While he was called to me, he was waiting on a tool to continue his job, which was outside in Minnesota. He was happy to be inside for my job. Because the technician was not outside of his regular hours, the $430 drain clear that lasted 30 minutes seems excessive. Maybe by me speaking up the excessive charges for all situations that require a quick response can be reviewed and this emergency cost can be reviewed.I will use this service again, but I hope I don’t need to.

They're always responsive and super easy to work with. Staff is always nice. They're super helpful when giving me knowledge and explaining what the issue is and how they can help. Their call center is very easy to work with as well.
I called on Sunday around noon regarding to the clogged drain tile in my basement. There must be at least 5 gallons of water backed up sitting on the basement floor. A 2pm appointment was scheduled initially. Within 15 minutes, they called back and informed me that their plumber is on his way. This was a extremely pleasant news as I had been worried and wanted the clogged drain to be addressed asap. Once they are here, immediately identified the issue and explained everything thoroughly to me. The clearing and cleaning of the drain only took about an hour and everything is working back to normal again. They left my place just the way they found it, clean and free of debris. I was also left in peace of mind knowing their work is garaunteed.

The drain in the laundry room was clogged, which was allowing water to pool in our basement. The technician that came out, Brian, came and took a look and had it cleared in about an hour. Had a clog in a kitchen drain about 50-ft down the pipe. They were available right away (within a couple of hours). The tech was courteous, knowledgeable and asked good questions to determine where the problem was in the pipes and whether it impacted other drainage systems in the house. He took care of the problem with a powered 100-ft snake. Also provided suggestions for how we could avoid buildup in the pipes down the road.

I started out calling another plumber who arrived but did not have the proper tools to clear out the main drain. He finally gave up and said that I should call rotor rooter. Roto router was able to come out 45 minutes later on a Sunday with the proper tools and cleared the drain.

A drain technician came to the house at about 7:45 PM and worked for about two hours to get my main line sewer drain unclogged. Mike replaced our kitchen faucet and installed a shut off valve at the sink. He also installed new shut off valves for the main line water pipe. He took care of contacting the city to come out and shut down the mainline water at the street. He did a great job and it all went pretty smoothly. Only hiccup was that he had to come back the next day to switch the hot and cold water lines on the kitchen faucet. We are very happy with Roto Rooter and we use them for all of our plumbing and sewer service needs.

We had clogged drainage and my husband tried to drill it himself the previous day and can’t seem to get it unclogged. The next day a guy from Roto-Rooter came out to look at it and it seems to be draining fine. Thanks for takithe time to come out and not charge us anything. We had an unexpected back up from our basement drain late at night. I called a couple of places that were either closed or charged a significant fee to come look at it. Roto-Reuter was able to come out to look for a free consultation, fairly quickly for a late Sunday night and took care of it. Imagine my surprise when I went down into my basement and saw standing water. Worst day ever. I called everywhere, literally. I thought my basement floor drain needed to be cleared but wasn't sure. Everyone wanted my arm just to come out and tell me what was wrong, then I'm sure they'd take the other arm and leg after they got here.Not roto-rooter! No call out fee (huge plus if you aren't totally sure what the problem is), they come and give you an estimate. You can decline, I did not.Bradley then got my signature and began his work. Cleared the drain, told me what was wrong and how to help prevent this from happening again.It was quick, less than an hour to get here. Also less than an hour to fix our drain, i think. I paid a fraction of what other companies wanted. All in all, I can do dishes and laundry again and have one less major problem to worry about.

Had Bradley come to inspect my problem associated with a basement shower drain backing up. He looked at the problem and was able to extract some sort of floating ball, which I understand, is used in finished areas so water doesn't back up and cause water damage to carpeting or furniture. He also worked on an upstairs toilet which wasn't flushing properly. He cleaned the holes in the toilet which creates a water tornado for the flush. Things are working again.He did a great job.

I was happy with the prompt appointment. All good until he said $430 just to snake the disposal line to the main. Fair would have been $250 since it took 5 minutes. Everything was great accept the outrageous cost for 5 mins. Booo! it went from a 5 star review to an 3 for that reason alone.
