The first technician Catons sent was a disaster. He was unable to find the house but kept insisting on the phone, irately, that he was in front of the house when he was nowhere in sight. He also grabbed my cordless drill off the counter without even asking (during a pandemic) to try to pull out the faucet body. When he couldn't get the faucet off, he announced that I needed a new faucet. In addition to this bizarre behavior, his command of the English language was too limited to communicate effectively about the job he was doing. I told him I didn't want him to install a new faucet, and he left. Quite frustrating, because I still had no water in the kitchen and had wasted several hours dealing with this.

Upon researching the problem further, I discovered Moen would send the necessary replacement part free of charge, but I decided to upgrade the faucet and picked one up from Home Depot. Then I requested a second technician from Catons to handle the installation.

Bruce, the second technician, did a great job. It took a little less than an hour, and he agreed to give me the hourly rate rather than charging for a flat fee for faucet replacement, which would have been nearly double the hourly cost, $400 instead of $200. He also explained how a trap works and why the lack of a trap in the right-hand sink (which I had not known about) was something that should be fixed. I would have had him make that repair today, but it would have been an extra $200 for fetching parts.

Having seen Catons' price list, I decided to use an independent plumber for reworking the trap.

I woke up two mornings ago with pinhole leaks coming from our basement pipes. We have a toddler and no water… not a great combo. Jeffrey from Lee Brothers came early in the morning (only waited one hour unlike other places that were quoting me afternoon window blocks). Jeffrey stayed ALL DAY until 5:45, waited until the glue and everything dried before he left. He wanted to make sure the job was done CORRECTLY and adequately which is something I feel like the world is missing these days. Our pipes gave him a run for his money.. (very brittle) but he got the job done and I feel confident in his work. Mat was amazing to work with and was actually a human on the other line, not just a corporate “scheduler” needless to say, 10/10 recommend, will be calling them for all future plumbing needs.

Made an appointment. The appointment was confirmed. Then nobody showed up to perform the work and did not even call to follow-up. Not recommended.

Great service. The plumber who came by was punctual and professional, fast and efficient. This is the second time I've used their service and each time I've been impressed with how quickly they sent someone out and fixed the problem.The only thing I will caution though is they have a minimum fee in order to do any work. Before booking anything, ask how much it will cost, because you may end up (like me) paying hundreds of dollars for something that is relatively inexpensive.

Great job very professional

We needed an especially challenging sewer line replacement. Many mitigating factors made a ‘normal’ excavation impossible. Abbott was able to come in with their ‘trenchless’ method in a prioritized timeframe. I was most impressed with how efficiently and effectively they were cleaned up and all of our issues were fixed.
