Found our basement leak in 20 minutes and stopped the flow of water into basement. Came out within 1 hour of call. Found the problem that three other plumbers could not! Others wanted to rip open walls take up floors. What a relief and pleasure to work with!

Sean is a through professional, who knows what he is doing!(hard to find that these days!). He arrived on time and checked my Rinnai tankless water heater at first and mentioned it was in good shape. But had to revisit as the heater was acting weird again. He was cordial and fixed it without any concerns the second time as the issue happened again within 10 days. I would definitely use his service again!

We had some issues with our outdoor firepit having a weak flame. We had 2 companies come out but they could not figure it out. McAllister Plumbing came out and had it fixed and fired up within 20 minutes. Thanks again!

I called McAllister Plumbing when my gas fireplace stopped working. Shawn came highly recommended and I was told they specialize in fireplace inserts. Though it seemed to be their busy season we were able to schedule a time that worked conveniently for me and Shawn arrived when he said he would. His service was friendly and professional and I'd recommend Shawn to anyone.

They came out within 30 minutes after I called to service and repair my fireplace. He cleaned it, assessed the problem, did an excellent job repairing. Very friendly and proficient. Thank you - I'm so happy to have a working fireplace!

I called McAllister Plumbing today @ 11:01 for my fireplace, I spoke with Shawn McAllister (Owner) who told me he could come out on 12/23, I told him I was selling my home and closing is tomorrow. Shawn, did not hesitate to tell he would come today after he finished the job he was on. Shawn, arrived at 2:35p, my fireplace fixed and working great. Awesome service, pleasant and GREAT PRICE.

Shawn is very engaging and professional. He was efficient and willing to look at anything asked while here, all at reasonable pricing.

Had a pool installed and the pool company suggested McAllister Plumbing to install the gas line for the heater. Called Sean and he quickly came out and gave me an estimate. He was very responsive so I went with him and he installed the line within a week or two. We ran into delays with the pool, so we didn't finish the construction in the fall; we waited until March to finish the pool. From day one, the heater didn't work properly, most of the time it would not ignite. I was frustrated with how difficult it was to get a call returned by Sean. I had to call him multiple times over a couple of weeks to get a response. Spoke to McAllister who came out to see if they could fix the issue. They advised it is a heater issue, not a gas supply issue. Had the Jandy equipment rep come out, inspected and tested the heater and confirmed the heater is fine. Jandy determined it is a gas line issue. Called McAllister multiple times without a response. It seemed as though since the money was collected, he was no longer willing to respond to my calls or come out to try and help fix the issue. After multiple voice mails without a response, I ended up going to another plumbing company to fix the issue. Based off the service and lack of responses I received from Sean, I would not suggest his services.

They came out the very next day after I called to service and repair my fireplace and Steve did an excellent job! I had no knowledge of the history of the fireplace since I recently bought the house, so he cleaned it and assessed the problem and checked with me before installing a remote since it would add to the cost for the service. Everyone at McAllister was very friendly and proficient. Thank you - I'm so excited to have a working fireplace!

I previously posted quite a negative review not on Mr. McAllister's professionalism and technical skills but on his company's customer service. Since then, I was contacted and given an acceptable explanation. Mr.McAlister did an excellent job (as I expected); he is outstanding at his trade. He even looked at a couple of my plumbing issues that were not scheduled for his visit. I recommend his services to anybody who wants a job well done, at a fair price.

My gas fireplace was having issues with the burners not coming on. McAllister plumbing came out and diagnosed my problem and did excellent work. Also I had a problem with a strong smell and it was not from the gas or any carbon monoxide as I have a detector and the air filtration system. After much research on the web about fireplace smells I couldn't find any solution. Mister McAllister told me that it was because my logs were old that I was experiencing the smell. I replaced them and there is no smell. I couldn't even find that information on the web. He is rated number one in my book.

We recently bought a gas stove for our kitchen and Shawn ran the gas line from our basement furnace to the kitchen for us. His pricing was absolutely fair, he was professional, and the customer service was super responsive (thanks Terri!). We will absolutely be using McAllister Plumbing again when we have another plumbing project.

We had a problem with our fairly new Rinnai Water heater, it ended up being a bad part that was covered under warranty, but Shawn was fantastic in working with Rinnai to get it taken care of. He came out 4 times, ( No fault of his own, apparently it was an odd issue, and multiple parts were replaced). He was diligent in communication with us and rinnai. His prices for the labor was extremely fair, and he really knew his stuff. I won't call anyone else but him from now on... Like my daughter said he wins person of the year for 2020...

I had been having issues with my 1-yr old gas fireplace after lightning and wind damage to my home. It was a frustrating time trying to get a professional to come out and inspect the fireplace. Finally, I was recommended to contact McAllister Plumbing. Shawn scheduled an appointment for me the same week! He was professional and extremely attentive to understanding what we had been experiencing. Shawn was very thorough and explained his analysis every step of the way. He was on-point in diagnosing the underlying issue. He then coordinated with the fireplace vendor which got us the parts and final repair easier and quicker. I could not be happier or more grateful for his service!!

I can't praise this company enough. After purchasing an auctioned property I quickly learned that getting the gas turned on was going to be my biggest and most expensive obstacle. I spent days contacting and meeting with every local plumbing company I could find on the internet. Every company told me that the process would take several weeks and it would cost me well over a thousand dollars. In a last ditch effort I returned to google in the hopes that I could find someone who could help me. After posting a brief description on the McAllister Plumbing homepage I received a call from a gentlemen named Shawn. Shawn couldn't of been more knowledgeable of the service I was requesting and immediately quoted me a price that was almost half of what every other plumbing company quoted me. He then forwarded me to a lady named Terri who updated me on every step throughout the process. Shawn and Terri take the phrase well-oiled machine to a whole new level. They turned what I initially thought was going to be my biggest and most expensive obstacle into a piece of cake. I challenge anyone out there to find a more competent company. McAllister Plumbing is the only company you need to know when it comes to plumbing.

Our gas fireplace was not working correctly, so for safety's sake, we needed to have it inspected and possibly repaired before we could use it. Despite short notice, Mr. McAllister fit us in so that we could have our fireplace working for Christmas. He came exactly when he promised and quickly completed his inspection and resolved our problem by properly placing the logs and cleaning out accumulated soot. His fee exactly matched his estimate; and while he could easily have sold us a new log set, he told us that ours was fine. As I write this, we are enjoying a beautiful fire. We could not be more pleased and would highly recommend the company. We will be using McAllister for any plumbing services that we may need in the future.
