Mike's plumbing did a great job! We needed to replace out main drain line. The plumber was polite, explained everything and offered us several options. The work was done that day, cleaned up and done. They are now our new regular plumbing company!

I simply described the problem I was having, and within two hours, Mike's plumbing arrived, diagnosed the problem, and corrected it.
I have an Electronic background, yet Will G was able to explain the plumbing problem I had in easily understood terms. In the end, he gave me three options to correct the problem and the price associated with each option. Mike's Plumbing and Heating will be handling any Plumbing and Heating problems, maintenance, and upgrades for me in the future.

My experience with Mike's Plumbing was amazing. The were able to come out immediately to repair pipe that burst and install a new gas water heater. Before completing the work our service specialist, Will, was great about explaining all of our options, the pros and cons of each option, as well as the pricing associated with each option.

The work was completed to our expectations and in an extremely timely fashion. Considering how stressful the situation was, working with Will and Mike's Plumbing eased a lot of our stress.

I cannot speak to their pricing compared with other companies considering that we went through our insurance. I do believe that the detail Will provided about the work that was required and completed helped expedite the claims process. Additionally, due to their professionalism and overall ease to work with, I would not hesitate to contact Mike's Plumbing for any future plumbing work we may require.

I contacted Mike's from radio ad on 95.1 and the tech was great. Mike sent crew out next morning, He was Early for the appointment, not just on time, cleaned up, did work same day.

Had new kitchen faucet installed that took 45 minutes to do n the charge was $500.00. I strongly recommend not using this company for plumbing repairs.

There was an issue that caused a leak but they returned the day after my call and fixed it at no additional charge. Problems happen but Mike 's stands behind their work with honor and integrity. My work was scheduled quickly and conveniently. The plumber showed up on time and gave me a price up front. The work appears to be good. There was an accident that did some damage but the plumber cheerfully went to great lengths to mitigate the damage and Mike's was fully insured so the repairs were covered. I am sure that all companies have accidents sometimes but they probably don't all make it right afterwards. Mike's did that and I am a satisfied customer even after a problem.

Mike’s Plumbing is an exceptional plumbing & heating service company!! Their customer service is second to no one..they first replaced my hot water heater approximately about a year ago & then just recently when I had an issue with my tub faucet & water softener. They have a service contract that is phenomenal! $89.00 annually & you receive a 10% discount on any services, they perform an annual checkup & give you priority in scheduling (meaning they put you at the top of the list)with any future service that you might need..hands down best plumbing company in Harford County in my humble opinion!!

We were extremely satisfied with the service provided by Mike's Plumbing and Heating Service. The service specialist, Will G., was very professional and answered any questions we had concerning the service. He even offered some very good advice that might come in handy later.

Had a clog in our shower on first floor. Worker came examined pipes and cleared clog. Mentioned the pipes in kitchen were slightly pitched and redoing is something we might want to consider. He didn't think that was the cause but said it's possible. Gave us quote and after speaking to him I felt confident it wasn't necessary and causing the issue. He was very knowledgable and patient explaining everything and gave some tips. Overall I was very impressed. He even cleaned the shower after!

About 3 months later, we had food coming up the shower. Found it odd since we decided to not use the disposable up until that point. We were cautious about putting food down that is only recommended, doing so very slowly, and ran water 2 minutes after to keep it flushing down. Figured it was a fluke incident. This kept happening here and there. We decided to stop using the disposal since it must be causing a problem. Now the shower is backed up again out of no where.

So I decided to give them a call and hope they stand behind their work. It seemed apparent the initially clog might have not been 100% cleared. It just seemed to back up so soon after. I talked to Mike and he informed me they only have a 30 day guarantee. He said they can't control what goes down there after that point which it understandable. I tried my best to explain the issue which is what you have read up to this point. He denied that the clog had not been properly cleared because they ran water. Yes, water will successfully go down a drain if partially cleared. If it was, there wouldn't be things coming up so soon. He said in his notes it was recommended to redo the pipes and we denied so it's not his problem. I told him what the tech said and if it was really the issue we would have had it done. The goal was to completely address the problem and fix it once and for all. I trust what the tech explained to me and I believe we made a well informed decision- to this day. He was excellent. I suppose Mike didn't want to be accountable for the possibility the snaking didn't completely get the clog. Mistakes happen. All he was willing to do was a snaking for $150, no warranty. We declined after I spoke to my husband and I told him how the conversation went. He was border line rude and condescending at times. Once I misspoke and said, It started clogging again 30 days after instead of 3 months later. He said, Ohhh!! So now it's 30 days huh? Make up your mind. First it's 3 months and now it's 30!!. I told him I misspoke and there was no need to be rude. It was very upsetting to be accused of being dishonest for misspeaking. I wrapped up the conversation since I was getting beyond frustrated and being rude back. We just wanted this issue properly addressed and fixed the first time around. So maybe there was a mistake made on their behalf. I don't understand why Mike couldn't own up to this possibility. So in the end, I wouldn't recommend. If the service works out, you'll be fine. If not, you might be in a similar situation. We had another company come out and the clog is cleared. He confirmed that the kitchen pipes were not causing the problem. He solved the cause immediately. The pricing was much better. If I went with this company the first time, I could have saved so much. He also figured out why the kitchen sink was leaking. All's well that end well. I at least owe a thanks for Mike for speaking quite a while to me. Hopefully this review will help potential clients receive better service in the future. Maybe this company can learn that mistakes can happen and give clients the benefit of the doubt. We unfortunately were not so lucky.

Our experience is that Mike' is expensive. However, the service is excellent and Mike stands behind his work. They are our plumber of choice.

I have been utilizing Mikes Plumbing and Heating since the fall of 2010. They made my transition into my new old home much smoother and livable. Mike and his employees are always professional, knowledgeable and dependable. I have also referred their services to friends. They are my Go To for plumbing and heating.

Mike was extremely pleasant and professional. He really helped us to find the correct solutions to the 3 problems I called about.

Michael was friendly & efficient. He brought resolution to a long-term, highly impacting plumbing problem, even going above the call of duty by fixing a small electrical issue we happened to mention. Clean-up afterwards was stellar. He's an asset to this company.

When I called Mike's Plumbing for a plumbing estimate, I wasn't sure if I was looking at simple repairs - or major replacement. The technician (Will) arrived promptly at the appointment time, and after we discussed our plumbing problems, he provided a variety of repair/replace options - at competitive prices - from which we could choose. He took time to explain exactly what would be involved with each choice, and did not pressure us to select any particular option. His knowledge and professionalism sold us immediately on Mike's Plumbing. We chose the repair option, and surprisingly, he began work immediately! Will discovered that he had to order some replacement parts to finish the job, and discussed those options with us before proceeding. Three days later, he was back with parts in hand - and within a hour, the job was finished! How refreshing to work with a company that is focused on quality workmanship and customer service, and not just there to sell its customers the most expensive replace options. What a great company!

Had a terrific experience with Mike’s Pluming. Called on Monday, was serviced on Monday. Will, the technician, was friendly, informative, and went far beyond his job requirements to assist me with the problem of clogged kitchen sink. He was conscientious and organized. All items under the sink were replaced back, and he cleaned the sink.
Will answered all my questions with a sincere interest and undivided attention Definitely an A + job. I would recommend their services with no hesitation.

After another company botched my new gas stove installation in my old house with dated pipe fittings (yes, there was a gas leak after they left, fortunately I knew where the cutoff valve was), I decided Mike's was the way to go. Even though they are a bit pricier, I knew from the last time I'd hired them to do a somewhat tricky plumbing job that they would do it right. And from the moment I had them on the phone, my anxiety began to melt away. The gas-fitter technician showed up on time, with enthusiasm and a can do attitude, and carefully explained why the gas leak occurred and what was necessary to get me back to cooking in my kitchen. When he finished in short order (the old connections had to be replaced, bringing the piping up to code), he confirmed there was no gas leak by carefully testing and my stove became a comfortable part of my kitchen once again. Called Mike’s plumbing for a water heater repair. Very responsive and professional. Charlie was able to explain everything before he did any work and cleaned up the area.

Absolute stellar service from David M. and the company (the receptionist made the process so easy as well; she was exceptional). David was able to come in and within the first 20 minutes he was able to offer many options regarding my entire plumbing system from my kitchen sink, my toilet, shut off valves, testing and future efforts. Great attitude and professionalism which is something I rarely experience while requesting service. What more can I say- they will be our go-to plumbing company from now on.

Will was very helpful in sharing his expertise about draining and replenishing water in radiators.
Will explained that although draining the radiators is a fairly sraightforward procedure, replenishing the water is complex (especially for the older boiler system we have). It costs $446 to drain the radiators & convection units on 3 levels. Will provided 3 cost options (corresponding to the level of work required) to get water back in the radiators and have the heating system up and operational again.
Overall, my experience with Mike's Plumbing & Heating was favorable and Will was friendly and informative.

I would recommend Mike's Plumbing and Heating Services because they promptly responded to my backed up drain issue. The technician was very nice, he evaluated the problem I was having and gave me several repair options, explaining each option. Overpriced, and they don't explain what the charges really are before they do the work. Also the work they did didn't even fix our problem at all. Now were stuck paying off a bill to them on work we didn't really need.

There was a serious leak in the cabinet under the sink in our master bathroom. Thankfully, Rich W from Mike's Plumbing & Heating was able to fix it without any trouble. Rich was very polite, and he worked quickly and effectively, leaving the cabinet and the rest of the bathroom just as clean as he found them. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Rich to anyone who has a plumbing issue in the Baltimore City area.

Found these horrible people on line.wanted to charge me $2,800 to replace my hot water heater.home depot came out and fixed it the same day for $900.this is an experience i will never forget.all my friends family are completely shocked about this.i am writng the review because i am still in disbelief.i also called another company gave me an estimate of $1500 still way less.

Mike's Plumbing & Heating Services will take your money and rip you off. They're completely unprofessional. They came to my house and fixed one problem while causing another, charging me for both. Use them if you want to flush money down the toilet. Wes was rude and hung up on me instead of attempting to assist me. DO NOT APPLY THEM!

Replaced 3 valves and charged a whopping 650.00 . They knew I had to get it done, so they overcharged me. *Update*...the owner called me and offered me 50.00 and wanted me to change my review, so let me explain my review... 3 valves and one small piece of copper pipe cost 30 at most..if I paid 150.00 an hour for labor that would be 300.00..add another 30 to double the cost of supplies and you get 360.00 for a nice profit. Even run it to 450.00 for a really good profit. But 650.00 is pretty extreme. The only reason I had it done was because it was leaking in my basement and I just put 20grand into the basement redoing it. So no , I will not be using you're company in the future and you can keep your 50.00, apparently you need it more than me...the best part is if you charged me fairly I would have used your company more since I am looking for a plumber since mine moved away...so in the long run your losing out more than I am...

This place is spectacular and I would recommend them to anyone. This is the first time I have ever used a plumber and my expectations were exceeded. I called them because I purchased a gas stove and I needed a gas line ran upstairs. Mike came out and explained the work he was going to do and how much it would cost. After he was done he cleaned up and there wasn’t a trace that any work had been done. When the stove was delivered I had to coordinate with them and an electrician to have everything hooked up. They were very flexible, agreeable and courteous (I think I called 3-4 times that day) and they were able to send someone out that day and my stove is up and running. I would HIGHLY recommend.

UPDATE 2ND EXPERIENCE: I had a clog that would not drain and the backup smelled terrible. Will was awesome. He explained my options and when I asked his opinion I felt like he was honest and wasn't trying to upsell me. Everything was put back and was clean when they left. He even fixed a drain when he was putting in the new plumbing and he also moved my dishwasher hose so my garbage disposal didn't smell like a dead skunk every time I ran it, and he tightened the disposal because it was loose. This is the first time I have had to use them for a problem (last time was to have a gas line put in) and they are always fantastic. Whenever I have contact with any of the employees they are always happy, are always helpful and seem like they like their jobs (which I think is incredible) and that speaks to the company and its culture. No one wants to walk into their basement and find it underwater . I called Mike's plumbing and even though I knew they were busy they had someone out the same day and had the sump pump replaced in no time . David was very kind, efficient and did a fantastic job . We had to have the water hookup behind our fridge replaced, and were unsure if we were allowed to per our condo agreement.

After sending the the plumbers, Charlie and Jake, away, we called our condo association and were told we could have the work done.

We called Mike's immediately to schedule a new appointment for later. The dispatcher turned Charlie right around, and he and Jake got right to work. Less than an hour later, our fridge had running water, and Charlie and Jake were on their way.

When all was said and done, Mike had worked over six hours and replaced corroded pipes, a cracked sink top, leaky faucet, in addition to resolving a few minor issues. I had a very noisy sump pump that kept me up at night. I called Mike's at noon on a Saturday and was very surprised to have a man come to my home and gone before 4. I opted to purchase a new pump since mine was pretty old. Chris did a great job and explained all of my options, and the work needed to do the job. Had a very good experience with this outfit -had a leak behind a wall in the laundry room of a condo. The plumber came on a Saturday to repair a pipe and replace a valve in a very awkward space in the wall. The plumber (named Charlie) who came had an air of professionalism and dedication to the job that seemed like he came out of the 1950's. He was cheerfully respectful; very communicative on the nature of the work to be done; neatly dressed; efficient in his work, and professionally competent. Even before he started doing the work, I had the sense that I had stumbled on a really professional plumber and that the repair would be done right. And it was. I was recently in a jam during the process of selling me home with a bathroom addition installed by a Maryland plumber not licensed in Baltimore County a few years back. Mike and his staff was fast and extremely friendly truly taking the stress out of my predicament helping me get the bathroom fixed up to code, and inspected by the county, so I can continue with the home selling process. Mike really gave me the sense that he has pride in helping you and makes the process a pleasure. If you need a plumber in Baltimore or Baltimore County there is no one else you need to call. I had a serious problem with water backing up in a drain in my front yard. I called Mike's Plumbing and they sent Charlie and Jake out to my house within an hour. They were outstanding! Charlie made sure I understood everything they were doing in order to resolve the issue. They found the clog in the drain line, cleared it and made sure the drain was working properly. Charlie and Jake were very professional, cleaned everything up good as new and were finished promptly. Price for the job was reasonable. During this recent power outage and cold snap we experienced a bursted pipe in our upstairs bathroom. The pipe was a heating pipe within our baseboard heating system. I called multiple HVAC and plumbing services. Some said they couldn’t repair it, another company came out and when they arrived said they couldn’t repair it and another stood me up two days straight. I finally called Mike’s Plumbing and Heating after a search on google. I explained the situation and was told the owner, Mike, would give me a call. Fifteen minutes later, to my surprise, Mike called. Mike was genuine and professional and showed a general concern for my house and my family. He said he was going to try to send a technician out same day if he could. He called back in about one hour, and said they could send a technician same day. Chris was absolutely amazing. From the moment he walked in the door he was respectful and kind. He treated my house like his own. He was knowledgeable and provided the highest level of quality and customer service. He took care of the issue and went above and beyond explaining the boiler unit and labeling multiple water lines in the basement to make things easy and clear in the future. It was apparent that it was important to him to do a good job and fix the issue for our family. The heat now works better than it ever has in our home. I needed a new stove connected to my gas line. Mikes came wirhin a couple days. Was more costly than expected but Will did a nice job and explained why things were necessary I didn't think were important. Would use again!

My experience with Mike's Plumbing and Heating Service was top notch. I originally saw an ad on TV and called to make the appointment. The person on the phone was very courteous and took all of my information including a list of what I wanted to have done. On the day of thea appointment, approximately 2 weeks later, Will called a 1/2 hour before arriving as promised and once he arrived asked me to confirm what I wanted done. He then offered some options, wrote up an estimate and went over each estimate. Once I decided, he began the work. He was personable, kept his work area clean and finished earlier than anticipated. I have some work that will need to be done early next year and am already planning to call Mike's again.

I had an AMAZING experience.. I missed the guys name sadly but he had truck 15. They showed up on time with notification beforehand. They were so precise with their gas line btu calculations and sharing with me their thoughts along the way so I was in the loop as to why they were leaning toward certain options over others. They said to do it properly they should install new and have a inspector go over it to insure it’s safe. Not only did they say my line was too small but they used a simple chart to show the BTU limitations of my current gas line that was DIYd from the last home owner.

Most people who use plumbing services probably aren’t in the best mood because of the financial expense. Here’s my bottom line.. I will spend more money every time without blinking an eye for people who are customer oriented and get the job done. I keep coming back and spreading the word of company’s that make it hard for others to compete because there THAT AMAZING. MIKES IS THAT COMPANY!!

I have had nothing but positive experiences with Mike's over many years, and would recommend them to anyone. Most recently, we needed a major job done in our rental property in Baltimore, and they handled it quickly and effectively, and without any complications. In this instance, we worked with Charlie, and he's great.

Finally - a company that doesn't just talk the talk of customer service, they walk the walk. Human beings from beginning to end. I called with a non-emergency issue and was given an appointment window between 9 and 12 the following morning. At 11:30 I was about to check on things when I received a call from Mike's explaining that the first job ran into extra time, the paperwork was being done and the tech would arrive within the hour. Twenty minutes later the owner called to let me know Will was on his way. When he arrived I explained the situation and he gave me 4 options - the last was to do nothing that day but to think about the other 3 options. Will explained what caused my problem and how the toilets differed. I made my choice and both toilets were installed the same afternoon. AND he cleaned up after himself. I am recommending this company, and Will, to friends whether they currently need a plumbing service or not. And in the fall, Will is coming back to replace my water heater. I cannot say enough good things about this company, the young lady (Amy, I believe) who handles the phones and Will who explained, answered questions and did the work so very well. CALL THEM!

Called Mike's in a bit of a panic, as the big box store installers had created a link in our kitchen sink when installing a new dishwasher. They were very nice on the phone, and were able to get a plumber to the house in about an hour. The plumber, Charlie, was friendly, diagnosed the problem quickly, and gave me options for repairs. He performed all of the repairs quickly, made sure he cleaned up after himself, and walked me through everything that he did. Really pleased, would certainly use them again.

Charlie did all he said he would got here at 8am and completely done the job in 2.5 hours very neet and cleaned up after everything he did we are so pleased with MIKE'S that if we ever need another plumbing job done they are who we are going to call.

Mike's Plumbing is fantastic. They came out promptly just a couple of hours after we called them. We had a blockage in our sewage line that had flooded our basement bathroom. They unclogged the drainage line. We also had a toilet in another bathroom that was leaking and they replaced that the next day. They were professional, neat, and organized. I give them 10/10.

Michael was the plumber who was assigned to my work. Right from the door, he was very professional and methodical. He respected my property. Inspected all the plumbing and connection. discussed the pros and cons of all the option that I have. we needed a new sump pump and he calculated a way for us to pay less than the quoted price, even before I asked him. Overall experience was excellent and I will request for him, if I need any further work in my house

We had a maintenance inspection which we highly recommend. They come out to the house and look over drainage, flow, general health and age of pipes and make their recommendations not just for safety but also improvement. Since it's not an emergency call, you can focus on whether or not it makes sense to apply their advice. When it comes to water and possible disasters, it's nice to take care of things proactively.

Their service guys are also some of the nicest in the field. Mike was no exception. Courteous, low-key, he went out of his way to make sure he wasn't inconveniencing us. Mike was actually super-kind, something my one-year old appreciated very much. All my years as a customer, Mike rates up in the top three for regard, thoroughness and communication.

All in all, it goes beyond competence. Somehow they make this aspect of house maintenance worthwhile AND enjoyable. We continue to use Mike's plumbing for this reason.

Employees Chris Winiarski and Jake were very professional and tidy with the service requested. They arrived within the timeframe, inspected the service requested, and found that no service was needed after reviewing the manual for an electric tankless water heater. After explaining the no need for any service they left with no payment required for visit.

My in-law's had Mike's Plumbing and Heating out to fix their hot water boiler heater at the end of January while they were out of town. Mike's team replaced a part and the heat was on. A couple weeks later I checked in on the house and the boiler had failed again. Mike's team came out and restarted the boiler. I then waited until the beginning of March to check on the heat and found it had failed and a pipe had started leaking in the kitchen. The house is over a 100 years old and had old iron pipes that led to the upstairs bathroom that had sprung a leak. Dave made recommendations to my in-laws over the phone with me on site and work began to cut into the kitchen ceiling to remove and replace the failing pipes. He also replaced the hot water heater and the remaining iron pipes in the basement and put new pipes to run directly to the boiler and to allow the rest of the house water to be shut off for extended periods of time. While costly the work was very meticulous, Dave and his apprentice worked hard, neatly and did a great job on the repair work installing the new plumbing logically so that it's easy to turn off various water lines.

The DOWN SIDE of Mike's is they are VERY EXPENSIVE and charge a $19 fee for estimates.

Update on June 7th. I called Mike's out to replace a wax seal under my toilet. I paid the $19 fee and said no thanks to their $440 quote for a task that takes under an hour.

I am flipping a house so I have hired a lot of plumbers over the past year. Mike's plumbing is the best. Other plumbers come in with slightly better pricing but when they leave the job is not done or is done very sloppy. I've had to call Mike's on several occasions to fix mistakes other plumbers have made. I finally learned my lesson and will call Mike's the first time every time. When you call, ask for Will. He enjoys his work and really knows his stuff.

I spent over 2 hours of my time looking for parts to repair a shower faucet. I took it apart, the valve stems were worn and I thought it would be an easy fix. I would simply replace the valve stems or the washers (like in the old days) I'd made this sort of repair a good number of times before. -- Easy peasy!

BUT NO. I went to Home Depot, Ace Hardware, even a local plumbing supply house looking for the parts. No one could find anything, no suggestions, no help. Like they'd never seen anything like these parts before. The size is very unusual; we can't match that. We'd need the original part number. etc., etc.,

I needed the shower repaired ASAP so I called Mike's. The technician (Dave) arrived on time, assessed the situation and fixed it in about 25 minutes.
I thought it was pretty expensive at $350, -- but lets face it, I was getting nowhere, and wasting time. Mike's technician comes out, and 20 minutes later the shower works great. The job was guaranteed and my wife is HAPPY !!! Worth the price !

Property Manager here, DO NOT use this company. This company lied to me and took advantage of a resident within the community where they did the repair.

Do not under any circumstance call this company for your plumbing needs. They will charge $230+ just to walk through your door and DIAGNOSE the problem, most companies charge near $160 to walk through your door, diagnose the problem, and can fix within the first hour + part prices depending on the severity of your plumbing issue.

This company will not fix your issue until you agree to the $300+ fee ON TOP of the diagnosis charge, which you will end up paying close to $600 for a simple fix for less than 2 hours of work. This specific fix required minimal parts and man hours.

I represent community organizations and a resident called this company to solve a plumbing issue, which ultimately was the community's responsibility after the diagnosis, and not the resident. I reached out to the company for specifics on the fees, and the receptionist told me that another call-out would not require an additional walk in fee, only the repair fee that was about $90 on top of the diagnosis (since they already made $230+ for doing virtually nothing, such as cutting 2-3 sqft of drywall, and not fixing anything). I agreed to this price. Instead, this company charged an additional $300+ charge ON TOP of the diagnosis to the homeowner/resident, unbeknownst to me that they paid, resulting in a $600 charge for a simple drainage fix with minimal man hours and parts. When I called about the charge, the receptionist and owner denied price specifications that I discussed hours prior. It was a classic bait and switch by a plumbing company that refuses to deal with property management companies, and it's obvious why. They will take advantage of a homeowner who doesn't know any better.

They will not work with property management companies and require on-site payments, reputable plumbing companies normally bill property management companies instead of the property owner, even after I told them to bill the company during the phone call on price specifics, this was verified by the receptionist, I agreed to the deal believing this fix would cost less than $340.

There are plenty other plumbing companies that will charge significantly less to walk through the door and repair your issue for less than $200 (with respect to severity and parts required). Avoid this company at all costs.

To all potential customers, make sure you ask about walk in/first hour fees, and subsequent man hour fees before you send them to your unit, as soon as they walk through your door you'll get hit with a $200+ fee without them even fixing your problem. Call around to other companies for pricing, and ask about their warranties as well, depending on type of work/piping that is being done.

EDIT RESPONSE TO OWNER:

The property manager knew of the repair cost and chose to have Mike's Plbg. do the repair with full knowledge that a return trip would be the separate quoted repair cost.

This is false. As I stated previously, the receptionist quoted the total charge to be under $350. You charged $240 to do virtually nothing. Had I known the total cost would be around $600 I would have laughed in her face and found someone else to come, I could have found another plumber to come out and repair for less than $200. The fact of the matter is is that your receptionist lied to me, and then denied we had that conversation about the price. We will not recommend using your company to any residents in the multiple properties we manage.

As far as plumbing repairs go, this experience was very good. I called for an diagnosis & estimate of my situation. This was not an emergency, but I was still able to get an appointment scheduled quite quickly. Chris W came to my home assessed the situation and gave me an estimate. He didn't pressure me to get the work done, but rather advised me of what needed to be done, options and cost. I called back later that week and the following week Chris came back to remove the sewer pipe from my basement. It was a dirty job, but Chis did it quickly and cleaned everything up (and then some) before he left. I found the price to be quite reasonable and was very satisfied with the service. I would definitely call Mike's plumbing again and highly recommend them too.

Great experience with Mike's Plumbing & Heating. Will was a great technician who was knowledgeable on so many levels. We had a plumbing issue just days after moving into our new home. Will put us at ease with his help and made sure to fit us into the schedule before we went on vacation. The financing option is also a great option for a big job! I would recommend to anyone!

He also cleaned up thoroughly, and treated the space as if it was his own. He explained everything to me clearly, and anticipated my questions before I asked them! I have always been satisfied by all the plumbing work Chris has done for me. I highly recommend him.

Chris showed up to access the problem I was having with my plumbing. He was very polite and professional at all times. He spotted the problem and formulated several options to correct the issue. After I selected my plan of action Chris arrived the very next day and completed the work in a timely manner. I would recommend and personally use this company again.

This guy is awesome, goes above what he needs to do without charging you anything extra. Not only was he nice enough to go around the house and label all of the valves and what they were but months after his visit to the house, we got a new fridge and were having issues with the water going to the fridge. He called us back after an initial call to the office and looked at pictures from his original visit to our house and told us what to look for and which valve supplied water to the unit. Would absolutely recommend his services and if ever need plumbing work done again he will be the go to.

Mike's plumbing is honest, reliable and up front on pricing. I had an extensive two day job replacing old piping in my house. They did a fabulous job and I now have amazing water pressure to my second floor bathroom. It was a messy job and they also were great about cleaning up after themselves. I am very happy with the work and will definitely call for him again when I need a plumber!

Our hot water heater stopped working, we called Mike's, and two professional and knowledgeable guys came out within 2 hours. They gave us several options so we could choose what worked best for us now, fixed the problem at a low cost, and were extremely pleasant and professional. Mike did a great job of reinstalling my toilet that was leaking. He explained in detail what he was doing and I appreciated the fact that he did it all in 1 day. Did not have to have a salesman call on me and then set up a date for the work to be done. The project was done quickly and the area looked better than it did when Mike arrived.

They look for problems you may encounter and gives you an estimate about any issues you may encounter. I have an old house and they already know what to look for when it comes to plumbing.

Replaced 30 feet of cast iron drain pipe. Excellent work by Charlie, Jared, and Jake. Very happy with the quality of work and how they it up plastic to mitagated any mess. They did it for a great price as well. I had another estimate that was thousands more.

Wanted to charge $565.00 to clear a clogged kitchen sink line. Charged $39.00 to come out and give me this ridiculous price because they had to re pipe the drain before they could clean it. I asked why they couldn't just run their snake through and they stated it would not work. This sink has not clogged for 29 years and now it has to be re piped??? Called Mr Rooter who came out for free, ran their snake through, left Bio chemicals worth $50.00 and gave me a 90 day warranty. Sinks drains just fine. What a rip off! Call Mr Rooter

One appointment was ineffective. They promised to return the next day with a camera to flush down the toilet. They never arrived. My husband called, and they said they'd be there today. No appeared once more. I would have preferred to give zero stars, but that was not an option.

Chris looked sharp and was professional on our initial visit! He explained the service requested in a professional yet friendly manner. The day of install went smoothly and the final product had a clean, no cut corners appearance. I'd highly recommend Chris to friends, family and will call back for future needs!

Integrity is everything.

They replaced a kitchen faucet and they replaced a flush valve in a toilet. Everything was fine with the kitchen faucet, but a couple of months later the toilet started a very slow leak. They came and checked it out and said it was from the bolt attaching the tank to the base. They could’ve tried to say this is a separate part and it is on you, but instead they said our man was the last person to touch it so we are going to replace it for no charge.

Sometimes things just go wrong. They took the responsibility. That is integrity. I will always use Mike’s Plumbing in the future knowing they stand behind their work.

Last year, Mike's installed a garbage disposal. The installation wasn't right. They came back and only partly fixed it. The sink really doesn't drain and was draining just fine before they put in the new disposal. Now, the disposal is starting to fail with hardly any use. I have owned houses with garbage disposals for over 30 years and have never had an issue before with installation. I'm not inclined to use them again. I see that there are rave reviews. Maybe the plumber was having an off day. I was going to give a four, but then also remembered experiences with a water heater install and the temperature gauge. I am used to not having to call plumbers back after an install to correct the work. So, I will stay with the three. I do think they are friendly and clean, though which is a big plus.

Can't say enough about how professional Mike's Plumbing is. They came out a few months ago to fix a drain in my bathroom so of course I called them when my kitchen sink was clogged. The service tech was extremely knowledgable and explained the issue in a way that I could understand. The plumbers aren't pushy nor do they use scare tactics to try and milk you for every dime. Most of all, they call a few days after the service has been provided to check in on you. Highly recommended.

The plumber Mike cleaned the drain and fixed the leak in one bathroom, replaced the very old faucet in the kitchen sink, and tested there was not a drainage problem with toilet in the powder room. Replacing the faucet in the kitchen also included installing appropriate valves to bring the plumbing up to code. Mike explained his process well. I highly recommend Mike's Plumbing and Heating.

I had a wonderful experience today with Mikes Plumbing and Heating. I called this morning with a septic leak inside my home and they were out within hours. They thoroughly explained what they had to do and fixed the problem immediately. They walked me through what they had done to make sure I was satisfied and I have to say the price was great!

Scheduling was easy and pleasant. Dave came to the house and did fantastic work. He hooked up my ice make, fixed my ruptured outside spigot pipe and put a high volume valve in the main water feed line that improved the water pressure in the whole house. Plus he did a nice clean up and was very polite and professional. I can’t recommend them enough!

I discovered a very plugged clothes dryer vent that was beyond my physical ability to repair. Mike’s responded on the first work day following my call. The plumber and his assistant arrived at my house on time and ready to solve my problem. They were very knowledgeable and went right to work solving the problems with my 1971 era vent, mostly rebuilding it. Cost was high but a professional plumber expects a well-paying salary. I needed a professional and I have a new vent that I can count on.

The technician was honest, capable and very considerate of our time and our home. He left our home as clean as he found it and I felt like he really listened to what we needed but gave us his expert opinion on the right ways to get things done (no more Mr. Fix It jobs in this house!). He even mentioned a few things that we didnt need and it made me feel great that he wasn't doing extra projects just to charge us! We will be using them again!

This company is top notch. They are the model of professionalism from the time you call until completion of the job. They treat your home like it is their own, making sure to keep their work area tidy, protect your floors, and clean up afterwards. They even show up in uniform. Mike made it as simple as possible for me. Needed to replace something in an house being prepped for resale, already had the part. Just needed him to come onsite and install it for me using the lockbox code to enter and take care of everything. I didn't have to do anything except call and pay. Work done next day, perfectly, and clean.

They did very good work but they overcharge by about $250 I don't know how they can sleep at night do a honest job. I looked at home advisors and saw the average price was about $250 I should have looked at them first like I said how can they sleep at night

I have had Mike's Plumbing deal with several issues in my home. I have loved every serviceman who has ever worked at my home, but especially like Mike (not the owner). They are prompt, clear in options, efficient in doing the job and keeping things neat. I won't call anyone else.

My repair person, Chris gave me options and clearly explained the cost of each. My hot water heater was not working. He relit the pilot and waiting awhile to make certain that is was working properly. I have used Mike’s Plumbing several times and would call again. His employees speak very highly of him and enjoy working for him. They arrive on time and are very professional.

I found Mike's Plumbing on Angie's List for a friend who had another plumber come two times, charged her and never solved the problem. Will discovered and solved the problem within minutes. He even stayed awhile to make sure everything was working properly. I was very impressed and used for a project I needed done. Wish I could give more than 5 stars. Since I can't, I am just passing out the name and phone number to family and friends.

I called Mike's Plumbing to get a second opinion after receiving an inflated quote for sewer repairs that were not needed. They came out, performed a video inspection, and recommended a proper repair that was much smaller in scope and well priced. They did not try and scare me into paying for something I didn't need. Very professional! The technician Mike did a great job and explained everything thoroughly. I would not hesitate to contact them again.
