Great price, excellent technician, fast service.

This is the third time we’ve used Alpha Plumbing and they always do a superb job and go above and beyond the call of duty. Today they installed a new sump pump and backup sump pump. Their systems are great quality and well-designed to ensure problem-free operation. Their integrity is second to none!

Chuck Taylor (owner) had given me a card several years ago when they ran a new service line to a house under construction I was working on. In addition to the other companies I contacted through Angie's List, I sent him a message since I had seen him in action. I got estimates from 3 companies. Not only was Alpha Plumbing the lowest bid that I received, they also had the longest warranty. 5 years for the inside plumbing, 10 years for the outside work vs. 1 year for the inside and 5 years for the outside. There was another bid that was competitive on cost but a bit higher on all 3 areas (water heater, inside plumbing, and outside plumbing) for a total of approximately $1000 more. The highest bid was nearly double the bid from Alpha Plumbing.I had a couple of questions about the proposal and Chuck was very prompt to get back to me. Once we decided to go with Alpha Plumbing, it was quick to get on their schedule - within a week. I had a couple more questions and received a response within a day. They showed up when they said they would, got the job done and everything was working great. We have been living with low water pressure since we bought the house 10 years ago and it is nice to have proper water pressure - we no longer are limited to one faucet at a time.The contract said Alpha would ...rough grade soil. Homeowner is responsible for final landscaping. It was backfilled about as expected, so we added grass seed and went to water it. We couldn't turn the handle on the sillcock and I realized the valve was off. When I turned it on, I was sprayed with water. I'm not sure why the handle wouldn't turn or what broke the pipe on the inside - it might have been from freezing in the winter from the hose being connected or it might have been damaged from the plumbing. I sent Chuck an email at 11PM. The next morning, I got a call from the office about it. They were ready to send someone out mid-morning. They were able to work with our schedule and send someone in the afternoon to replace the sillcock.After we had already committed to hiring Alpha Plumbing - the transmission on my truck broke. We almost decided to cancel the plumbing project and let our funds build back up. It is nice to have full pressure and we're glad we made the decision we did. Today when I was looking at Alpha's website, I realized that they have financing available, with one possibility of 12 months no interest. In hindsight, I regret not asking about financing (I asked another company that bid on the project and they had said no). I don't know if we would have financed it or not, but it would have been nice to consider all the options.

Great work and quick. Very fair cost. I will use them again. All the work they did was great. The toilet installation was done very well. Everything is working fine after a month.

Update 12/21/22: Used them several times now for very different things. Once to replace in-ground PB pipe. Again for stripping and re-caulking a tub and a shower stall, replacing tub spout, two sink faucets, and today, to install a third toilet — this time in our master bathroom. In all those times, there was only one minor issue, and they came back immediately to fix it. They went above and beyond every time, AND their prices are way lower than other plumbing services we explored. It’s nice to have a forever plumber. Everyone has been great (John, Liam, Matt, et al.). And they’re very responsive via email, phone or text.

Alpha Plumbing is simply a-w-e-s-o-m-e! I help manage a rental property in Baltimore and when we had serious plumbing emergencies with a broken sewer drain Alpha was there in no time, diagnosed it, scoped it, and fixed it within 48 hours! Throughout they were pleasant, professional and considerate.

Used Alpha while selling our house. We were required to have a plumber come in and do a relatively easy job we could have done ourselves. Alpha was reasonably priced without any extra bu!! $H! T. They also detailed in writing things that did not need to be done to buyer as we were working with a strange loan through the buyer. So very helpful at documentation to cover our a$$.

I called Alpha Plumbing after a google search on who repaired sump pumps in the area (they popped up first). I called Sunday night and I got a call back at about 830am saying they could come out at 930am to repair the pump (basement was collecting water, not a good situation). The plumber showed up early and evaluated the sump pump. I thought a second pump could be broken as well but after he looked at it he said it was working fine (I appreciated his honesty, a second pump would have been expensive). The plumber replaced the broken pump quickly and the water drained. The plumber was professional and nice. The cost wasn’t bad considering the pump had to be replaced, I was charged exactly what I was quoted for a replacement pump. Thank you Alpha plumbing, I will be a return customer.

Very happy with Alpha Plumbing!! About 2 years ago our sump pump failed and our basement flooded. I called Alpha and they came within an hour or two, diagnosed and installed our new sump pump with in that same hour. I was so thankful that this happened swiftly as he knew our insurance was waiting to see if they’d have to cover our damages or not (thankfully it did) and they were able to send out the cleaning/mitigation crew. He also checked to see if our water line pressure was strong enough for a base pump, Incase we wanted to have a back up if our sump pump failed or we lost electricity as well as a quote.2 years later, I called Alpha plumbing about the base pump, they still had my estimate (wonderful) and set up a time (4-5 days later) and finished the job, showed us how to maintain it and other recommendations. It was painless.Hurricane season is upon us, and there is nothing like having a sense of security when the rain comes in. If you’re like us and you’ve been through a flooded basement, don’t mess with a second sump pump or back up battery... those don’t last. Do what we did and sleep better at night.They also have great customer service ;)

Update #2 - Got a call less than an hour later that someone is coming out to fix it! Very pleased with the customer service even after hours.Updating this at 4:45 the same day - not even 6 hours later and the hot water heater tank is leaking and when I called when I noticed it they were closed. So now we still don’t have hot water…no emergency line or anything.Very profession, friendly and knowledgeable. Had us back up in running with a whole new hot water heater super quick. Alpha Plumbing was responsive and addressed our leaking hose bib very quickly! Liam, our technician, called prior to arrival, diagnosed the issue and fixed it in under 2 hours. He was very nice and explained the price breakdown, which was 1/3 the cost estimate we received from another local company. We would absolutely utilize Alpha Plumbing again!

We had roots in our sewer line under the foundation of our house. We called three plumbers for quotes. One was very wrong as to the location of the underground pipes and they were confused as to the real issue. One came out and said they would call to discuss the estimate, but they never called. Alpha Plumbing was extremely responsive, far more thorough than the others, and extremely professional. We gave Alpha our business and we were not disappointed. The Alpha team arrived on time, was extremely personable and professional, very communicative, and they did a fantastic job. I highly recommend them!!!

Scheduled annual backflow inspection. As always Alpha was on time and was in and out. Brian was very friendly and did a great job getting the work done quickly.

I cannot speak highly enough about Liam from Alpha Plumbing. He came in to replace (and haul away) three toilets (with lots of stairs involved) and replace my kitchen faucet. He was super knowledgeable, focused on doing a good job, and then took the time to scope out another issue I was having while he was here so he could take that info back to figure out solutions (was too hard for me to explain on the phone to the home office when I set up this first job). You better believe I am having Liam back to handle what will be a rather significant pipe fix. After 20 years of looking, I finally have my plumber. Thank you Alpha Plumbing!

I called this company to get a pressurized well tank removed in a basement for a customer that we were in contract with for interior waterproofing. Ally professionally answered the phone and set the appointment up immediately based on the information I gave her. The plumber showed up on time, professionally removed the tank and reinstalled it the very next morning so the customer had hot water to take a shower. Ally called my the very next Monday a couple days after the work was completed to finalized the invoice. I was so pleased with the price I had to ask her again if that was the correct amount. I have used several companies large and small for multiple jobs but Alpha Plumbing by far is the BEST our company has experienced on ALL levels. I highly recommend this company 5 STARS

They got to the heart of the plumbing leak and answered questions about other plumbing issues while here which was very helpful. Just wish they told us that the drywall repair would require either a projecting patch or a redrywalling of the whole wall since the compression straps on the pipes project out beyond the wall plain.

I found AlphaPlumbing through a quick google search after my husband noticed our toilet was leaking. They were able to schedule a tech to come out to our house the next day; Josh was super nice and very efficient! Will definitely use their service in the future.

The washing machine drain clogged. Scheduled appointment with alpha plumbing. They showed up on time. They couldn't get a snake around the bend in my pipe and had to take it apart to do a cleaning. In the meantime, I had to run a very sick pup up the street to the vets. I did not expect the vet appointment to last as long as it did and when I returned home, the guys had finished and left a bill which was lower than expected. I called this morning and paid. We used Alpha Plumbing for a cured-in-place main sewer line repair. They were extremely professional in every respect. At the inspection, they arrived a little late but texted us when they were stuck in traffic, reviewed all of our options, and took suggestions. They texted us again the day they arrived to do the job, to let us know they were on their way. The work was completed in less time than expected, they worked neatly and the work site and our house were left in perfect condition. While I can't describe the quality of their plumbing (because it's 10 feet underground, and I'm not a plumber), they warrantee their work for a decade. Overall, one of the best contractors I have used in 35+ years of owning old homes.

Had 3 inline valves and 2 exterior spigots replaced. Dan and assistant did a wonderful job. Explained the new type of valves and spigots for winter time protection. Fire sprinkler system retested

We had a very complicated plumbing issue related to our waste line leaking under the the concrete basement slab. We called several plumbers and drain people to analyze the problem but they all turned out to be totally worthless. Chuck Taylor, the owner of Alpha, correctly diagnosed the problem including the underground layout of the drain which no one else could figure out and also the possible source of the leak.

As service companies go, Alpha Plumbing is so good that it is probably in a class by itself. I believe the company is family owned and operated. Five brothers have joined forces. Alpha Plumbing was recommended to us by a very particular real estate agent who has used them for years. Alpha Plumbing plumbers come quickly, provide professional help, approach their work scientifically, solve problems, and clean up. We have required their help for sewage backups due to clogging caused by flushed wipes that do not dissolve and for replacement of leaking shutoff valves. As a side benefit, they happily share their expertise while they work.

I had a sink hole develop outside. Turns out it could be one of two things. Sewer line or old septic system. Chuck from Alpa Plumbing was the only contractor who diagnosed the problem correctly. When the sewer line cracked in my house my son who is a plumber had used this company himself said call Alpha. I expected delays with response and implementation of work. I went online to request service for the sewer line and within 12 minutes they called me, not in 24 to 48 hours, 12 minutes. Appointment made for assessment of my needs and when the first team said we need the second team I had an verbal agreement for 2 days later. With in an hour the 2nd team called and was on their way. I had water when they left. Bathroom was jackhammered 2 days later, fixed and now I am going forward picking out a new floor. Price was so unexpected. I was prepared for the worse and was wrong. Had busted pipe from a late freeze in March. They had to cut into drywall to reach pipe. Added new handle for turn off valve too. Cleaned up well, didn’t see any dust. Very polite and answered all my questions.

Alpha plumbing replaced the PB water lines in our home in one day. There was minimal wall cutting, no mess left behind, and were always courteous and professional. Would recommend!

Alpha replaced two garden hose spigots/valves.

They were the most inexpensive out of three quotes to replace the water pipe from the street to my house. On top of that, I felt like they were the most knowledgeable about my repair and what needed to be done to fix it. From the office personnel to the on site personnel they were professional and quick. Responsiveness to my inquiries and concerns via email and/or phone was very fast. Installed my hot water heater today and and far as I can tell all is working well with no issues. My negative review is the poor communication/customer service. I appreciate it’s just a hot water heater but I’ve never had a service tech not go over his work with the customer and show you how to operate the new equipment. He asked for payment told me the instructions were taped to the side. Man was prepared to leave without me even looking at the unit at all. Clearly did the work but just poor customer service!

The plumber that was sent out to do the inspection on my sprinklers tried to extract an additional $125.00 from my and I husband. The price that was quoted for the service to my neighbors and I was $125. He waited for one of my neighbors to arrive which was approximately 15 minutes and he didn't charge her a wait time. However, he tried to charge me $250 stating that there was an issue with my valve and that it needed to be replaced. My house is less that 1 year old and currently under warranty. He never asked to replace the part, he just went ahead and did it. I requested that he remove the so called new part and then miracleously it worked and past the inspection. I will never use this company since their plumbers are in the business of overcharging African Americans for the same service they provided to my 3 neighbors with the same homes that were built at the same time for the same service.

Called Alpha to do a back-flow prevention assembly test. They were very responsive when we called and scheduled us right away so we could get the test done and then handled all the paperwork for the Anne Arundel county. The technician was courteous and took care of the test and paperwork in about 30 minutes. We will be using Alpha again if we have any other plumbing needs.

Hired these guy to inspect the sewer line of the house I intend to buy. Video quality of the scope was poor. The tech did not show the room before or after taking video of the pipe ensuring that video was for the correct location. Tried to sell a total replacement of the line for $14,500 saying that it was very corroded. The video didn't seem to show that. Got a second opinion. Turns out that there is nothing wrong and replacement isn't needed.

They did an excellent job. They explained what they were doing as they were doing it and after they were done.. I have a home that was built in the early 30s with plaster walls which are hard to drill through. The amount of patchwork needed is reasonable considering how hard it is to access the pipes in these older homes that were built to last forever.

Alpha Plumbing cleared a clogged line and a clogged drain. They were on time, answered my questions and cleaned up afterwards. I did not have any complaints. This is my second experience with them. I think they are a little pricey but they are competent and I trust them.

Alpha Plumbing came to my rescue. Needed all water pipes inside and outside the house, from 1943, replaced. Sewer pipes relaced. Toilet, tub and shower faucets and all sink faucets replaced. From the first phone call, to set up an estimate, to the end of the job everything went as planned. Dan and the whole crew were polite, friendly and professional. Did the whole job in one day. When I called the next day about one minor item Chuck had 2 men come out the same day to correct that problem. I am over the moon with the finished job. I would recommend these guys for any job. Tried to replace the wax ring on my very old toilet. After an hour some colorful language I remembered that I was not a plumber. Called alpha, made an appointment, plumber showed up on time, took very little time to fix. Ended replacing toilet. He was polite, quite and efficient. Day later a different toilet wanted some attention as well. Called Alpha and a different guy showed up. He was just as kind as 1st. Both of them kept me updated and pricing was low on both trips. Had Alpha come out due to Roto-Rooter being unethical and fraudulent. Roto-Rooter said I had to replace the entire sewer line, but yet Alpha plumbing told me its just a broken pipe underground. HUGE difference! We are talking thousands of dollars in difference. Sometimes we think getting the BIG name companies are reliable because the “NAME” has been around for centuries, well, I no longer have that thought process after this. I will stick to family owned/small businesses from now on. They truly care of about customer satisfaction.

See below for reviews I entered for previous work. This time it was a very quick visit to address a leaky outdoor hose faucet. They showed me how to tighten it myself next time. They also provided a ballpark estimate of cost to fully replace that faucet with a more modern and “freeze-proof” unit, along with a ballpark on replacing a bathroom pedestal sink with a vanity-style sink. As always, very friendly techs who provided the service and answers we were looking for.Last time we had a kitchen faucet replaced, a toilet repaired and a sink drain repaired. Great experience. Friendly technician, very happy with our ongoing relationship with Alpha PlumbingPreviously I had them rebuild the drain pipes for our kitchen dual sink. I called Alpha during business hours and got a representative on the phone in seconds. I spoke to Michelle who was friendly and accommodating. We were able to find a mutually convenient time slot for our work for the next day (it wasn't an emergency).Brian called ahead to let me know he was on the way. He arrived on schedule and was very personable and professional. I explained that we had our sink replaced last year and that the drainage was never quite right, getting regular clogs that required me to unscrew the fittings and clean out the trap (U-shaped portion of the drain pipe) next to the dispose-all. When I did this a few days before I accidentally cracked one of the nuts that connect the pipes together creating a small leak.Brian replaced all the pipes, reconfiguring things so that there was a more direct line from each of the dual sinks to the down-drain, removing a couple of extra 90 degree turns that were the cause of the regular clogging. He was finished in about 50 min.While he was here I asked him about the approximate cost to repair another sink in our basement bathroom which has a slight drip. He agreed with me that it wasn't worth doing right now as we plan on remodeling that bathroom in the future and any work that he did now would just end up getting replaced when we remodel.Again, I am 100% satisfied with the quality of the work and the level of friendliness and professionalism displayed by all of the Alpha Plumbing staff that I interacted with. In my initial service call request they help me troubleshoot the problem. Told me what they were going to do to solve it and also suggested that I could take care of the repair myself and save myself the money. If I could, I would give Chuck and his company 10 stars! Chuck and his team went above and beyond to help me resolve a difficult plumbing situation, even after it was a job that his company could not complete due to safety issues.I bought a new townhouse in February 2021. A few months after settling in, anytime we used the water, the sinks began stopping up and the basement began flooding. After a visit from the county, it was discovered that my sewer pipe was broken, and had been for many years (lesson here: always pay to get your pipes video inspected when buying a property). At the time, the county informed me that the repairs were my responsibility. With my standpipe being located 10.5ft underground, surrounded by a sidewalk with power lines and everything else running underneath this was going to be a job that was costly, dangerous, time consuming, and disruptive to my neighbors.After numerous plumbers came out, I called Alpha Plumbing to see if it would be possible to repairs the damage using the new trench-less pipe repair process. Chuck, the owner, came out for a diagnosis and after determining we would not be able to repair the pipe using the trench-less method, devised a plan to dig to make the repairs. Beforehand dig day, Chuck even took the time (it was a crazy long time on hold) to speak with my Home Warranty to explain the repairs. Unfortunately, my home warranty would not cover the repairs even though I had an exterior sewer line policy. Disappointed, I was still ready to move forward because Alpha Plumbing offers great financing and payment options and this pipe had to get fixed.When Chuck and his crew showed up on the first day of my work vacation to make the repairs they were unable to complete the repairs due to excessive water flooding and worker safety. At this point, most plumbers would be done and move on. Not Chuck. Not only did he not charge me for the unfinished work, after speaking with a one of his professional contacts, he found county drawings for my community that demonstrated that the standpipe was within the county utility easement. Using those drawings and the plats from my assessment, Chuck returned that afternoon to measure and document the easement and the location of my pipe within that space. The next day, Chuck emailed the County's Department of Public Works on my behalf to explain the issue and lobby for them to make the repairs. I spoke with Chuck on the phone and thanked him profusely. He told me to enjoy my vacation and that he hoped when I returned the issue would be resolved. The next morning I received a call from my daughter that the County had arrived and was repairing the standpipe.There are not enough words to express my gratitude to Chuck and his team at Alpha Plumbing for going above and beyond to help a customer resolve their plumbing issue. Chuck is not just a fantastic business owner, but wonderful human being, and great citizen for our community. Chuck will be the ONLY person I call for all my future plumbing needs.

Plumber Damaged my hard wood floor, in order to do a water line behind the fridge.And when i complained All what they wanted to do is paying me $25 .Also, they charged me for $75 for the helper who was helping Plumber .The company is just Rip off.Will Never Recommended this company.

I would highly recommend Alpha Plumbing . They came out to snake our sewer line for tree roots . They gave a curtesy call to inform they were in route to my home . Both techs were friendly . The work was done in a timely manner . One tech even gave suggestions on what I can do to same money in the future. They had made a quite a mess on the floor from working but one tech got on his hands and knees and did a very good job cleaning it up. I've have companies in the past just leave a mess . Even the customer service rep I spoke with to set my appointment was super friendly .

Had Alpha Plumbing come to my and my neighbor's house for an annual Backflow prevention valve inspection. While this is an annoying thing to have to do annually, I have nothing but high praise to give to both to Chris and to Alpha Plumbing; their estimate was very prompt, clear, and fair for a Master Plumber's time. The test took maybe a maximum of 8 mins to perform and Chris explained how everything works and what he's looking for (and for someone who is eternally curious, that is always appreciated). Chris also went above and beyond and took a super quick look at a concern I had with an unfinished bathroom and made recommendations. To quote, cheap plumbing is expensive. If you're considering having plumbing work done, or even just a Backflow prevention system inspected; consider giving them a call/message, they feel like one of those old-school companies that really stands by their work and are looking for a relationship over a quick buck!

I needed a Toilet and shutoff valve replaced. After getting some estimates, and reading the good reviews for Alpha Plumbing, I selected them for the job. I was not disappointed. Brian, the plumber, was at my door on time and completed the installation in less than an hour. A few hours later, I noticed a small leak near the new shutoff valve, and called to report that. Amazingly, within about 10 minutes Brian was back. He discovered that the new waterline connecting the toilet with the shutoff valve that he had installed was defective, and replaced it. I couldn't be happier with the service that Brian and Alpha Plumbing provided. I happily recommend them.

Apha Plumbing is my go-to plumbing company and I've used them for icemaker water lines, sump pump lines, new hot water heater, and bathtub clogs.

One of my children threw a toy in the toilet and we couldn't get it out. I called up Alpha Plumbing and they scheduled an appointment for the next morning. Bob Taylor called me the morning of and verified our appointment. He showed up on time and got right to work. He ended up needing to take the entire toilet off to get this toy, but he worked quickly and efficiently. I am very pleased with his work and my toilet finally works again! The one and only complaint I have is that he wasn't wearing a mask and was coughing in my house, so I was a little concerned. I have 5 young kids that are unvaccinated and I'm trying to keep them safe. If he felt comfortable enough to come into my house maskless, I can only assume he goes into other houses like that. With there still being a pandemic, this is very concerning. I'm hoping that the company will put protocols in place to make sure their staff is still wearing masks, especially in someone else's house. Other than that, it was very good service!

I’ve had Alpha out twice in the past 6 months. They are EXTREMELY responsive, courteous, and they stay on schedule. The first time I had them out it was to replace some pipes over my hot water heater. They did a great job and worked clean replacing the copper. They also suggested at some point over the next couple years, I replace the hot water heater itself because it was aging. They quoted me for a price for that and told me that would be the price if I ever wanted to do it.Flash forward 5 months and the water heater shoots out water like a geyser and floods the basement again. While I was building the arc and gathering the animals two by two, I called alpha and let them know the situation. Same great service same responsiveness. However the original price quoted for the hot water heater had now gone up by about 200 bucks. I called and inquired and was told I was misquoted and that the original quote should have been more...well paint me green and call me Timmy that’s not how quotes work. I could see if it was a couple years down the road but 5 months is quite a short stint for a 15% increase in price. (Both quotes included a sub tank). Anywho, they were professional and timely so I wasn’t going to sweat 200 bucks just didn’t give me the warm and fuzzy 5 star experience.Overall, I probably will shop around next time but if I need someone quick and dependable, I probably end up going with Alpha again. Would certainly recommend with a note about their quotes.

Dan installed a pressure reducing valve. He and Logan were friendly, personable and efficient. Explained things well, answered all my questions. Great experience!

So, my first experience with Alpha plumbing. The guy shows up in jean shorts that came down below the knee in December when it’s snowing outside. The problem is a copper pipe leaking in a misty spray downstairs. He goes down the steps and asks me where the water shutoff valve is. I didn’t know there was one, but it made sense. He found it next to the water heater and pointed it out to me ( it was marked red). A little less than an hour later he had replaced a whole section of copper pipe, restarted the water and handed me a bill for $150. I paid gladly and wondered ‘who was that masked man’.Next occasion a different guy came by to fix a water supply line to the toilet and slam bam all done in a little less than an hour for about the same dollars. Third occasion same thing with the toilet leaking thru the floor into the basement. A little harder, a little more money.Last but not least I contracted for a shower install for them to do all the basic plumbing and set up the floor of the shower with a rubber/ vinyl liner to prevent leaks. The estimate was done twice and came up $1200 both times. So when I had the money together, I scheduled them and the guy came in and did the job in 4 hours. It was their usual good job, but it seemed a little high at $300 per hour. I had given them a good write up before, so they asked me to do another one. I sent them back an email that squeaked about the fairness of the price. Their VP Ops got involved and verified my story and cut me a refund check for $500. What else can I say about these guys. I don’t think you could find a better plumber in Maryland. I know they are my go-to guys for everything involving a plumber.

If you can get them out, then maybe it’ll be a five star. They moved my appointment twice, less than an hour before we were scheduled to meet. That’s inconsiderate of their client’s time and all the adjustments they make to accommodate your staff. Mike replaced the stock anodes in my water heaters with powered anodes that I supplied. This fixed a problem I was having with H2S (rotten egg smell) in the hot water. He also replaced a broken frost proof hose bibb. He was personable, professional, and did a great job. The labor and material costs were reasonable. He had everything he needed on his truck so I didn't have to pay them for time to make material runs. Will be using Alpha Plumbing again!

Major renovation with additions in 2020/21 that included water and gas plumbing:Plumbers did clean, professional work and were extremely courtesy.-Replaced Pressure tank-converted kitchen to gas-additional sq footage included all new plumbing for bath and wet bar-renovation to existing kitchen and bath plumbing.Just recently we had them back (2022) to replace an old sump pump and ejector pit pump. The work was just as good as I remembered.I would highly recommend them.

Alpha replaced my sewer main and water line. Very reasonably priced and charged what was quoted. Very friendly. I'll plan on using alpha for an future plumbing needs.

I scheduled an appointment on February 3rd to have the plumber test my backflow services. On February 18th I waited 2 hours from 10-12 for the plumber to come. At 12 I called the receptionist to check the status for where was the plumber. The receptionist said my appointment was deleted from the calendar. I took off work, this company had me get to the doctor's late. I spoke to the mgr, and he didn't seem to care. If you want to save money and give it away to a company that doesn't care then this is the place for you. I decided to spend 11 dollars more for Dwyer Plumbing. There's other companies out there too but you have to call to get the price because each is different. Other plumbers are Chesapeake Plumbing and Len the Plumber. I would have been a new customer for Alpha Plumbing but I'm glad I took the time to go elsewhere.

This is the third visit (this time for tankless water heater install) from Alpha Plumbing and each time we have had a great experience! Getting my tub drain pipe repaired was an Excellent experience. My church uses Alpha Plumbing so they were the first company I called. Setting up the appointment was very easy and pricing was explained to me up front. Brian (the plumber who came to my house) was very courteous and easy to talk to and answered all my questions. What he was able to do in a short time would have taken several hours for me to do, running to and fro to the home improvement stores to get all the right components for the repair. The tub drain pipe configuration wasn't a normal setup, but he quickly came up with the parts to complete the repair. Brian also inspected other components associated with my tub and found everything in order. I will definitely call Alpha Plumbing for any future plumbing problems that I can't solve on my own. What more can I say about this place other then phenomenal, extraordinary, amazing people to deal with. I came home this afternoon to water coming from my ceiling and a large bibnle of water ready to break. I quickly looked up a local company and found Alpha. The woman o spoke to was extremely kind and reassuring that someone would be to me between 12-2, it was 11:25. Not more then 10 min later I had a call and by noon on the dot at my house. This is when I got to meet mike, this guy is TOP NOTCH, beyond professional and super efficient *to the ownership..you have a real winner with this guy! WHAT REALLY SET THIS GUY APART FROM ANY, is that even after the main line was closed I was able to do ring his cell phone not once but twice and get an answer to my stupid question!! Needless to say Alpha has found a loyal customer and I will always recommend these guys over the bums at Sardinia that screwed me over!

I called Alpha Plumbing to resolve a sump pump issue. They were able to replace the pump, replace a leaky check valve with a quieter, working valve, and advise me on how to resolve a drainage issue in my front yard. I am satisfied with the service received and would call them again for any future issues.

Alpha came out the next morning for a low priority call. Brian installed frost-free bibs for our outside spigots, as well as a quiet check valve for the basement ejector pump. All happened quickly, cleanly, professionally. I also had questions about how an old grey water well worked - it’s new to me so getting an experienced eye and opinion on it helped. And the prices are right about where I’d expect them to be.

These guys are awesome! We’ve used them for a couple different things around the house and be the only company we call in the future for any plumbing needs. Most recently, they installed a dishwasher. When they weren’t able to do it the first visit (electrical issues), they made sure I knew what was needed and came back as soon as it was fixed to install. They clean up after themselves thoroughly. Truly plumbing experts! Our copper lines failed, leaving us with a few leaks that needed immediate repair. Chuck evaluated the issues and provided quotes to either repair or replace the lines. Both quotes were reasonable, but to prevent further copper failures we went with pex. Atlas re-plumbed my entire house in a day! We'll use atlas for all future plumbing needs!

My work expanded quickly as the ground kept collapsing. Alpha successfully completed the repair despite the enormous increase in work - remaining professional and polite throughout. They also never asked for additional funding even though the effort was clearly well beyond what was estimated and contracted.

This was our first experience with Alpha Plumbing and actually our first-ever experience with a plumbing service (we've apparently been lucky or just very self-reliant, or a little bit of a mix of both . . .).Alpha was recommended by another local, more casual handyman - when he felt that our problem might be beyond their skill level. Our problem was a very odd waste line blockage with a basement level toilet, and where the waste line just would not clear. Alpha dispatched someone almost as soon as we called.Our service person arrived in less than 30 minutes, and was very friendly and courteous. As luck would have it, when we explored the basement waste line clean out, it mysteriously appeared clear, and when we flushed the toilet - it flushed normally. This was a bit exasperating, but since we were on the hook for a service call anyway, our service person took the time to give us a breakdown of the waste line configuration in our basement - which was a good learning experience, and will make us more self-reliant for the next time. Overall, the positive nature of the service person and what we learned did lessen (a little bit) the sting of the $130 of the service call, which proved to be completely unnecessary. We'd recommend Alpha Plumbing in the future (although you may want to trying flushing that toilet one last time before you call them . . .).

We have been using Alpha Plumbing for all our repairs for years. Our kitchen faucet has a sprayer attached by a hose. It developed a small tear and water would go under the sink whenever we turned on the faucet. We didn't know the name of the faucet model, and thought we would need to buy a new faucet, but Alpha Plumbing asked us to send them a photo, found a replacement hose and it's fixed..As seniors, we have been staying home and were a little nervous, but Chris had a mask, gloves, and was very careful. When the job was finished, we were surprised that the price was much lower than we expected. This company employs the nicest employees from making an appointment to having a service call. Dependable and very affordable.

After calling multiple plumbers, including one google certified, I found Alpha Plumbing on Angie's List. Their quote was lower than most. They arrived the same day instead of the next when my appointment was scheduled since they had finished early for the day. They were done fixing my toilet in under twenty minutes! I was worried bc after thirty minutes they charge an hourly rate, but I only got charged that first half hour pricing plus the parts. It ended up being $100 cheaper than other places! The men who came were clear in what was going on and explained options for me if I had future issues with my old toilet. I will call them again!

Called Alpha plumbing to repair a small leak cause by my amateur plumbing efforts. Even though it was not an emergency, they had someone at my house 30 minutes after the call and had completely re-piped by kitchen sink in less than an hour. They even offered to install a new kitchen faucet I had purchased to save me from paying for another future visit. Entire process could not have been easier. Andrew and his crew replaced main drain lines in our home today, replacing old cast iron pipes with pvc. They did an excellent job! This required removing a long section of our paver patio, which they did carefully, removing only the minimum necessary to do the job. They also removed concrete basement floor and re-concreted neatly. I highly recommend Alpha Plumbing! They responded to us quickly, were reliable, did great work with minimal disturbance to our property, and cleaned up when the job was done!

The owner came to my house the same day/morning to give an estimate and was very kind. I did not feel like they pressured me at all. Alpha plumbing was recommended to me a couple of years ago when I needed a new city water supply line replaced. I’m glad I listened. They are priced great, friendly, and don’t leave a mess. I’ve used them everytime since for all my plumbing needs and have never been disappointed. They don’t try to up-sale you extras and things you don’t need. There like having a plumber in your family.
