They were very polite and came to service my busted water heater same-day. But they quoted me almost $1500 to replace a 40 gallon water heater. That’s about $900 more than what one costs at Lowe’s or Home Depot, which seems like an egregious markup.

Buyer beware!!!This company (Berry) will send out an Apprentice plumber which is not a licensed plumber i.e. someone that has not taking a state test with the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners that pose as an actual licensed plumber. They will charge their customer for a licensed plumber’s hourly rate even though they are not actually licensed plumbers! Please ask to see the person that comes to your home for their license. The person has to show you it if you ask for their state license. If it’s a red card do not let that person do anything in your home. Anyone can pay a yearly fee and get a red apprentice card from the state board even if they are not doing any plumbing at all. The license must be blue(Journeyman) or green (Tradesman) to actually do plumbing.

They were very personable, courteous and knowledgeable. I called late this morning and they were here by 2:15!! Talk about service!! If you need anything done, don't hesitate to call them. Called about problems with our water heater. Austen got back to me within minutes. After describing what was going on he said he knew exactly what the problem was and that he didn’t even need to come out but could walk us through it over the phone. My husband called later that evening when he got home from work and sure enough within minutes our water heater was back to working perfectly!! Not only that but he didn’t even charge us anything. So grateful for his honest, knowledgeable, and gracious help!! Will definitely be using them again!!!

Water heater failed during the latest freeze and I had to shut off water the house. We called a dozen plumbers and only this one was available to come that day. Manny saved the day showing up after hours in the freezing cold and got us back up and running in no time with a temporary fix. As promised, he came back a few days later to finish the job and did excellent work replacing some broken components. He was knowledgeable, on time, polite, patient with my questions, worked quickly and I believe he was honest and fair with me at all times. Just all around great service. I'm not too familiar with plumbing pricing but it seemed reasonable to me. Would definitely recommend.
