Called about problems with our water heater. Austen got back to me within minutes. After describing what was going on he said he knew exactly what the problem was and that he didn’t even need to come out but could walk us through it over the phone. My husband called later that evening when he got home from work and sure enough within minutes our water heater was back to working perfectly!! Not only that but he didn’t even charge us anything. So grateful for his honest, knowledgeable, and gracious help!! Will definitely be using them again!!!

I contacted Austen Plumbing in the morning, and by the afternoon I had (long awaited) hot water coming from my kitchen sink. Sediment and other things were keeping the hot water from spilling out of the tap, and all was fixed in a timely manner. And things were explained quite thoroughly. Austen Plumbing Company is your go to for plumbing needs! I received a call-back within minutes of leaving my request for service. We were concerned we had a leak under our slab due to hot spots we were feeling on random tiles, and Austen was able to help me diagnose the cause of the hot tiles. I won't pretend to know the names of the various hot water heater parts, but by texting him pictures of our unit, he was able to coach me through some tests to determine if there was actually a leak or just the constant flow of hot water being pumped through the pipes. I greatly appreciated his prompt responses and ability to help us figure out what was going on via phone. Austen is incredibly polite and efficient. We will be passing along the company information to neighbors and using him should any future plumbing needs arise. Thanks again for your help!

Since there were so many positive reviews, I decided to give them a call. The Travis Co. number on website had been disconnected but I located another local number on Google. Last week, I asked for a quote to fix some toilets and a sink stopper and was told to text pictures. Never heard back and texted again 2 days later. Still no response. Almost a week later, I called again today and got voicemail. I am so disappointed. Why didn't you respond? At the very least someone could have texted to let me know they were working on my quote.

At the onset, I was reasonably satisfied with his work. But after the first day, I have found him to be undependable, unreliable, and unresponsive. I cannot recommend him.
