I had roots in my pipe below my toilet. I wasn’t sure if it was growing from outside the pipe and into the pipe through the flange or up from a seam inside the pipe.I had a highly advertised, big name plumbing company take a look because I figured this was a major issue and they’d know how to handle it. I called Plumb Doctor as well (a second opinion). The first guy showed me pictures of roots he found growing through a seam in my pipe. Yikes! Major money (several thousand) and pain to repair. Josh with Plumb Doctors came out and showed me the camera directly. He looked all over and I asked home to focus closely on the area the last company showed me roots. Nothing! It looks perfectly fine. He didn’t try to scare me into doing unnecessary repair. He talked me through his thinking - the roots breached the space between the pipe and foundation. It’s not uncommon. He had some ideas how such a thing could happen and how to address it. Orders of magnitude cheaper (several hundred)! He came back the next day to do the work. He then talked me through his proposed approach again after more thought. And for even less money, he solved my problem. Time will tell if it’s a forever fix, but he’s confident it is. I trust him. I own rental properties as well and good honest plumbers are hard to find. Plumb Doctors earned the top spot in my contacts for plumbers today. Josh was great, professional, and efficient.

Alexander did an excellent job and was very thorough and made sure to fully fix the pipe without too much fuss at a reasonable price. He also came back the next day and scoped the drainage as well. I recommend them to anyone needing a plumber.

Julio came out here on Thanksgiving day and did a very professional job clearing a clog pipe in my kitchen. He even used a camera and showed me all of the crud that's built up in my pipes over 30 years. He was extremely friendly and a consummate professional. Even though I paid holiday rates, I got the best deal I could. I will definitely use these folks again.

Water heater failed during the latest freeze and I had to shut off water the house. We called a dozen plumbers and only this one was available to come that day. Manny saved the day showing up after hours in the freezing cold and got us back up and running in no time with a temporary fix. As promised, he came back a few days later to finish the job and did excellent work replacing some broken components. He was knowledgeable, on time, polite, patient with my questions, worked quickly and I believe he was honest and fair with me at all times. Just all around great service. I'm not too familiar with plumbing pricing but it seemed reasonable to me. Would definitely recommend.

Jami is excellent! He’s very professional and knowledgeable and honest. I planned to ask him do a smog test to identify where the bad smell in a bathroom was coming from. Before the test Jami checked the bathroom and felt the smell was not sewer gas but some rotten animal. Then he found a dead rat in the attic that caused the smell! This saved my a lot of money! Really appreciate Jami’s work. I’ll definitely use his service next time!

I had faulty plumbing in my bathroom which was going to cause a potential water leak, I was concerned with the recent freeze that I would not be able to get anyone on call to take a look at my bathroom. Jordan came by and provided great service!! He instantly knew the problem, and drove all the way to Home Depot to get the parts needed for the repair and came back as promised and fixed my bathroom. It was really great working with Josh. He was kind and responsive. He always did his best to answer my questions and clarify things for me and provide me with updates on the work as it was being done. Called Plumb Doctor after a referral from another plumber for the issue I had. Plumb Doctors fit me into their schedule and were able to show up earlier on the scheduled day. Jordan arrived and started work. Very professional. Communication about status and costs were excellent for a complicated job. Stayed and finished job after sunset and made sure everything tested okay before leaving. Will happily use them again in the future.

We’d been having issues with our hot water smelling like rotten eggs since December 2022. Plumb doctors came out and didn’t know how to solve the problem, just troubleshooting, had us buy a brand new water heater from them, but a couple months later and the same problem arose. They came out and flushed it out which temporarily got rid of the smell, but it returned again just recently. They still didn’t know how to solve the root cause of the problem but instead gave us outrageous estimates speculating on what might fix the problem. I called another plumber, Radiant, who had experience with the issue, knew exactly what steps to take and fixed the problem. Plumb doctors came out on short notice over the Christmas holiday so I will give them credit for that, but I would only recommend them for minor plumbing fixes.

Excellent service today. Had an issue with disposal caused by improper installation and Plumbmasters took care of right away even though the install was over a year ago they didn’t charge me. Highly recommend!

Requested an appointment online at 8:20am, appointment set by 8:30am, at my home by 10:30am. Issue fixed by 10:45am. Alex and Ollie then gave me a complementary full house inspection giving good advice on things that I needed to pay attention to. All for the very low price of $89. Couldn't be happier.

The guys made it out with short notice for a job that was too big for a one man job. Had the leak detected and was off the water main and caused huge water bills for a few months. The leak was not easy to find and a full foot deeper than the water line should have been. They dealt with the rock and debris and put in a fix that is much better than what broke and caused the leak. Super nice, helpful and kind. Would highly recommend.

I told them before they came that I had a water leak. Technician came without any water leak investigation equipment.He blindly dug in my front yard and was unable to find the leak. Charged me $400 for that, knocked off $100 when he couldn't find it. Then Said his boss had sonar equipment but would charge another $895 to bring it. I obviously declined bc thats absurd to charge almost $1200-$1300 just to find a water leak on my property.I ended paying just $150 for another company (who had more experience) to find where my water pipe leak was and didnt want to charge a crazy $1300 just to find the leak in the first place (without actually even fixing anything yet).

Reported a garbage disposal not working issue. Jami showed up on time, did a pretty good job in diagnosing the problem and addressing it.Fixed the problem and provided future options, if the problem arises.

Alex was awesome. Professional install around, took care of unexpected problems, even worked with the business who supplied our toilet to get an exchange when the he found the tank had a hairline crack. Overall, very pleased.

I have two bathrooms right next to each other (both ensuite, on two different bedrooms) and the plumbing vents for the showers, toilets, and sinks peppered the roof in this one area completely preventing me from installing solar panels anywhere over that area. So my challenge was this: find a plumber who could both understand my problem, and who understood how to move the plumbing through-roof vents over all in a line near the very edge of the roof where they wouldn't get in the way. Several plumbers had said no it wasn't something they understood, and a few were afraid of one particular cast iron plumbing vent (the home was built in 1969).Ok, so my roofers and solar installers didn't want to proceed with re-roofing until I moved the plumbing vents (which makes sense) so the roofers helped me find Jami Evans of Plumb Doctors. The roofer, Jami, and I met at the same time (standing on the roof) and Jami totally understood the goal (clear the roof of obstacles) and said he wouldn't know the final situation until he cut into the ceiling drywall and looked inside. Two days later Jami and assistant show up at the start of the day, move 100% of my plumbing vents over against the very edge of my roof, and leave by 4pm. One day's work, not too expensive, and a couple of rectangular holes in my ceiling drywall (far fewer holes than I expected, much easier to repair). The roofer was accommodating too (this review isn't for him, but a shout out to GreenKnight roofing) who swung by at 4pm to put temporary fast patches over the old holes in the roof so if it does rain in the next week before the roof is installed, we'll still be dry. :-)I'm COMPLETELY happy with the result. At the end I asked about the cast iron and Jami explained the approved way to both cut it off, then attach modern PVC pipe with 4 metal bands to it so it could then be routed correctly over to the side of the roof. I don't understand how one plumber knows all the codes and is confident about this (Plumb Doctors) and 2 other plumbers just threw up their hands and said not possible, it is cast iron, cannot be cut or attached to.

Josh provided the exact service I needed Very pleasant, courteous and knowledgeable. He checked a few other things and provided estimates on those other projects. I will be using Plumb Doctors from now on.

I have called on Sam a couple of times. He is always helpful. They did work at a previous house when I needed them and I was happy with the outcome.When an issue did arise that I was unhappy with and felt unsettled, they were very understanding and resolved the situation fairly.

I only leave reviews for really great or really terrible services. This company is everything I could ask for. Great communication & easy & quick to get someone out. And Marc was amazing. He not only fixed what I needed, but in a few minutes of downtime made some additional improvements for me & showed me some things I can do myself. Will definitely call Plumb Doctors for future plumbing issues.

This review is only referencing the terrible estimates and pricing that Plumb Doctors delivers, not the quality of the service itself.I initially called them to remount a toilet flange that had corroded away and was quoted around $250 to do so. A little expensive, but they were already here, so I went forward with it. However, each step of the process led to an increase in the estimate - chipping up the old flange was another couple hundred, concreting the new flange was an additional fee, and so on, until I had paid $1500!!!! And it's not like I had a choice, since they had demolished half of my bathroom and the job needed to be finished. Again, the plumbers themselves did a fine job, but it turned out to be incredibly expensive.Also, I requested a quote on replacing my propane water heater and they gave me an estimate for $4500, almost double what the next closest bid was. I am now paying $2500 for the same service from a different plumber, which is more in line with market averages.

Cory did not disclose out of area fee when scheduling, then lied about it the next day (we listened to the recording together). The job would have never been accepted if he was up front on the nature of the charges. Cory said after the fact that we were outside the 30 mile radius and therefore incurred an extra $100 trip charge today, but that was not disclosed when booking. In reality, we are 26 miles. Just a money grab. Their estimates were also 2x-3x the competition ($1,200 - $1,400 to repair a leak near the main pressure valve by the meter, and an extra $750 if the valve needed replacing). Plumb Doctors was referred to me by a 3rd party and have already taken my poor experience to him. The 3rd party is refunding me the charge I paid to Plumb Doctors. Definitely would not recommend to anyone. The job ended up being done for roughly ⅓ the cost.

Jamie Evans was our technician. We wouldn’t want any plumbing issues ever again but this company and Jamie made it less painful. Knowledgeable and thorough.

Ollie and Alex installed a new water heater. They came out the day after the leak because we had turned off the water. Came out before scheduled and completed job with complete satisfaction.

Noticed water coming out near water meat the water meter. Found Plumb Doctors and gave them a call. Service was great from start to finish. The technicians that came out found the water leak and fixed it very quickly. I would recommend and use them again.

Josh listened to our problem with a leaking kitchen single handle delta faucet. He quickly checked the connectors and cartridge. Replaced the cartridge. Checked again. Confirmed fixed. Excellent job!

An outdoor pipe burst on Christmas Eve. This service was the only one of many we contacted who sent someone out that day. On the Tuesday following the plumber arrived within the time promised & finished fixing the problem.

Was referred here by our plumber because he was booked for the next two months. Just needed our new dishwasher installed. We took the old dishwasher out already and the new one was just 5ft or so from the spot in the kitchen were it was to be installed. They gave no indication of cost before the technician arrived (other than an $89 service fee which is fine). The technician however said it'll be $444.63 to hook up the dishwasher. No busted pipes or anything. Just a routine connection with parts (hoses) we had already purchased that were on-site. So ridiculous. We had them just remove the old intake-hose and not install it. And removing the hose cost $129. Can't say I recommend this company. Very very expensive.

I can't say enough good things about Plumb Doctor and their tech Ollie. I spoke to the office and they promised to have someone out to my house. Ollie showed up and took care of everything including running to the supply store for a needed part after hours. These guys are great.

We had a blocked sewer line back-up at midnight the night before we were flying out for vacation. Graham showed up in about an hour and worked to clear the line so we could leave town. He was very informative and explained everything clearly to me. The visit wasn’t cheap but wouldn’t expect it to be at that time of the morning.

Josh went out of his way to help my dad with a plumbing repair. He explained everything patiently and even worked late into the evening to get the job finished so the bathrooms could be used. He is professional and a very nice person.

We had gas orders leaving the tankless gas water heater. After he explained to me how our particular water heater works it made sense to me and gave me a a piece of mind.

I'm not a preferred customer, yet I called Monday afternoon after 16:00 and they came out the next day. They were on time and did the install in about an hour. The plumber also cleaned up afterwards and hauled off the old toilet. He also took time to review other plumbing needs I was concerned about. BTW I'm a repeat customer. Pros!

Our kitchen sink backed up unexpectedly, necessitating us to have Plumb Masters come fix it. Greg did an awesome job, explaining what the problem was and what was required to fix it. The cost of service is fair and the customer service is exceptional. You can’t go wrong.

Jordan did a great job of repairing a leak by the hose bib on Christmas eve. It was late and freezing cold outside, but Jordan was able to fix the leak and restore water back to the house in time for Christmas!

Jami Evans and his colleague did a truly fantastic job replacing our old and leaking water heater. We called them this morning, and by 4:15 PM it was replaced. Quick, responsive, professional with an excellent quality of work. Highly recommend.

We first used Plumb Doctors (then called Plumb Masters) two years ago when the toilet started backing up at our previous house. Joe came out, did a thorough assessment, and found we had root intrusion from a nearby live oak. Joe turned what was looking like a $50K+ problem (tunneling under the slab foundation) into $2K through a creative (and code-compliant) solution. Joe's honesty, professionalism, and skill made him our go-to plumber.When we were looking to buy a new house last year, we had Joe come out to do a thorough inspection. He found that the main sewer line had settled and no longer ran at the right slope, causing sections to be completely flooded. He provided a reasonable quote as well as a video of the issue that we provided to the sellers who agreed to split the cost.We had the work completed last month, and it was completely seamless. Joe and his team came early and stayed late to ensure we weren't without water for any more time than was needed. They were always in close contact so we knew the status of each stage of work as well as the inspection. Andrew also got involved along the way who is also fantastic.Finally, we had Joe and Andrew (of course) replace our water heater a few weeks ago which was also a great experience. They provided a quote in range of other similar shops and had the installation down to a science. In and out.We hope we're at the end of our plumbing needs for a while, but if anything comes up, we know we're in good hands!

This company was recommended by PreFix and is the most professional plumbing company I’ve used since moving to Texas. They are professional since answering my first call, helped figure out what was going on over the phone, and got someone out quickly to fix a leak.This company is expensive, but if you have an urgent issue they’re worth it.

I'm super satisfied with the quality and professionalism of the service techs and staff at the plumb doctors. I called them to fix a knocking of the pipes I was experiencing with the master shower. The techs came out, did a few tests, and had a solution. They were very transparent, and made me feel at ease and calm. No drama. They fixed the issue in a matter of an hour.

Josh and Joe were amazing. They came out on the morning of July 4th and helped unclog our main sewer drain and also located the source of the issue. They have all the equipment that is needed to take care of any Plumbing problem. I will definitely use them again!

This is the first time I have used this company but it definitely will not be the last. I needed to have regular maintenance on my tankless water heater. Outstanding service. Had a repair need after hours and the response / repair time and professionalism made the situation less stressful.

We ended up with a leak in our front yard and we found out our cut-off valve at the water meter wouldn't shut off. So we had to call the city and have them shut off the water until we could get it repaired. Plumb Doctors was the only plumber would find that could come out on the same day. They even managed to show up a little early. The crew was great. They gave me a good estimate and they didn't run into problems along the way. There was no trying to up sell things that I didn't need. While they were doing the work, they discovered a second leak between the water meter and main which is the city's responsibility. All in all. Great job. BTW, when the city came out to repair their leak. They found another leak further along the line between the main and meter.

Sam and Anthony started as strangers, and, strangely as it seems, they now feel like trusted friends that will tell me the real deal while still showing respect. They provided options for my project, they dealt with some electrician drama from my side with professionalism, and they answered my basic questions about water heater maintenance with grace (instead of deferring to Google).Ask for this team if you need genuine folks to do some honest work.

Plumb Doctors staff was very responsive. Sam came to our home on an emergency after hours call for broken hot water heater, his knowledge on what home builders do was a huge service to us, we had no water pressure when we moved in, and Sam knew immediately what was broken, and we were complaining of all the water we wasted to get hot water out of the faucets in the out, We had the hot water heater replaced, and added a booster recycle to the top to push hot water through the pipes, We also replaced a broken component in the yard that was keeping our pressure so low you would stand at the sink for several minutes to fill a pitcher with water. Sam also informed us that if you have a water softener, which you need in TX, you can shorten the life of your hot water heater unless you replace the anode every 3-4 years, which then can extend your water heater. Both Sam and Gabe who showed up to do the work were kind, professional, and cleaned up after they were complete with their work. This is definitely my plumber, I trust them with completing honest fair quotes and give me the best advice. I'll have them back to fix my shower that is having drainage issues, again because of builder lack of quality.

Marc is very professional and ensured the issue is resolved completely. He has explained everything in advance, performed exactly what is needed to fix the issue. He has to make multiple trips to get necessary parts, but never complained. Happy with overall experience.

I live in a 1 bathroom house and was having trouble with my toilet. I had a previous plumber cancel on me last minute and I was suddenly scrambling to find someone who could help me the same day. The Plumb Doctor was recommended to me. They promptly answered when I called, gave me a window of time for an appointment, called 10 minutes before they arrived and were on time. Graham was professional and did a through examination of all my bathroom plumbing to see where the problem was. He got to work, made sure everything was in working order, cleaned up after himself and gave me a money saving tip to help out after a hard freeze. His service was top notch so I referred him to my builder to bid out some plumbing work I need for a master bedroom and bathroom suite. I am grateful to The Plumb Doctor team for fitting me in during a busy time of year and would highly recommend them!

Called these guys for an emergency plumbing visit. A root intrusion had caused a backup in our mainline and we had no use of bathrooms at 11 PM. We used Plumb Doctors to replace a cracked main sewer line. They were able to schedule the work quickly and minimize the time that the plumbing could not be used. When some miscommunication happened they were very prompt to do everything possible to make it right as quickly as possible. I called them at 11 in the morning because my sink was clogged and water was leaking all over my under cabinet sink. By 12:00 Graham was at my door and by 12:30 the clog was fixed. We had extremely poor service from a technician that was having an off day. Our job was quite large and the price came in extremely high and not fully diagnosed. It happens, covid has people stressed. The owner rectified the situation and compensated us appropriately - adjusted from 2 to 4 stars.
