Collen at Rooterman saved me 20k. He arrived on time preformed a camera inspection and found that I needed less work than the first plumber from, another company, had quoted me. Collen was very knowledgeable and was even able to give me plumbing advice on a potential remodel I’ve been thinking of doing. I can’t recommend Rooterman enough!

My exgirlfriend got mad at me for catching her cheating on me and ripped off the hot water knob on my bath tub after she finished taking a shower. Victor was amazing! Not only did he replace my hot and cold water knobs, but he fixed the leaks too that were leaking water from the knobs when they were on! He also came back to ensure the water pressure was good. Fabian, his boss, was also very professional and helpful in making sure the job was done right! I'd highly recommend this company to anyone needing their plumbing needs met! Plumb Masters fixed a broken pipe for me. They were prompt, courteous, and affordable. I had called another plumber who wanted 4 times what Plumb Master estimated for the job. The actual invoice was exactly what they estimated. I’m pleased with their work and will recommend them to my friends.

They were very responsive when I needed prompt help for a backed-up pipe. They gave me a two hour arrival window but called exactly 15 minutes before the start of the window to ask if they could make their way over. When he arrived, he was upfront about what work would be needed and what it would cost to seek my approval before starting. The work was fast, clean and friendly.

Had no hot water at night due to construction that the remodel company couldn't figure out but wanted to charge me $500 for a new pilot switch. Requested to Ben Franklin that someone come out the next day which they did and were able to arrive much earlier than scheduled. Dylan is very professional and pleasant to deal with. The issue was minor, and I was only charged the service charge. Very happy with tech and service and happy that I have contract with them.

Paul came out first thing in the morning to help with a Toilet install. He was able to fix the issue that I had caused myself quickly and professionally. Great service.

I’ve had 2 experiences with ABACUS and I really don’t like to post negative reviews at all. However, given that I’ve had 2 experiences with them, I felt obligated to provide a review and If I could rate them with 0 stars, that would be more appropriate.Here are my 2 experiences:About 7 months ago we needed to get some outlets upgraded to 50A to work with our new appliances as well as to get them to hardwire the appliances to the new electric box.After making a few calls, ABACUS came out to bid on the job and even though their prices were higher than what I was expecting, they were readily available to get the job done and so I went with it.The technician didn’t really know what she was doing at all, she botched up the job and put the wrong breaker in the outside box. Long story short, I had to help the technician do the work, then someone else showed up to help the technician and in the process of hardwiring the appliances, they banged up one of the appliances.When they were done, I didn’t pay them since they were going to replace the banged up appliance with a new one. That didn’t really happen and I had to talk to the appliances vendor who were kind enough the replace it.We proceeded to test the appliance and it was not working at all and they came out again to review their work. Then, they then proceeded to tell us that we needed a new panel since they had identified some potential fire hazards with the external panel and suggested that we do that work.They replaced the panel (the price was really high, but they did come down to a relatively reasonable level), but didn’t upgrade it to 200A as we had originally discussed and rather left it at 150A.Second time around, I needed a 50A outlet added to my garage to charge and electric vehicle. I called around and ABACUS was again readily available, so I figured I would give them a second chance.They came out to look at the work and quoted me about $2000 for adding an outlet in my garage (YES REALLY!!!!!!). When I asked the technician about explaining the cost, he simply said: “the price is the price”. Was not really wanting to go over the quote and explain, very unprofessional behavior.Last thing he told me was: “Our prices are based on the task and not on hourly rates, so I’ll send you the quote via email and let me know if you want to do it”. Meanwhile, he was right there and didn’t want to explain the reason for the crazy price.I called a couple of other electricians with great reviews to get quotes on the same job and their quotes were all in the $350-$500 range.ABACUS is robbery, do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY!!!
