Best Emergency Maintenance in Austin TX
Had a water leak from a valve in the ground that I only stumbled across from mowing the lawn.Of course it’s on a Sunday.I called at least 20 places and Rooterman was the only one who could come out for emergency services on Sunday.Dustin came out and replaced my valve in a relatively short amount of time. They will be my go to for any plumbing needs in the future.

Detailed and thorough communication from the initial call and throughout the entire process. Ryan, the Service Specialist, walked me through everything he was doing and was very clear about the causes of what happened and why. I will def be using them in the future and for my personal properties. Very fair pricing and honest suggestions for future preventative maintenance.

Daniel's has a great team of friendly professionals who do what they say they're going to do, show up when they say they will, and do a great job! I've used them a couple times and will definitely call them again when I need to. Highly recommend!

Had Mr. Rooter come out to diagnose a water leak in my slab after hours. Paid Mr. Rooter $2,525 and change, which included a pre-pay (~$1,700) for the tech to come back the next week and reroute and reconnect the line. After we received an estimate for an ADDITIONAL $575, this is in addition to the $1,700 pre-payment, we chose to complete the reconnect ourselves. We have emailed and called Mr. Rooter to get a refund of the pre-payment for work they never completed with no reply. There is nothing more infuriating than a company that expects to be paid at the time of service for work that has not yet been performed who then refuses to reply when inquiries are made for a refund. The tech who came out to fix the leak was very professional. He found and fixed the problem in a timely fashion. Unfortunately he works for a company that does not seem to follow the lead when it comes to timely refunding customers money.

Andy came Saturday night around 10 pm and quickly determined that our problem was out pipe to the city sewer. He returned the next morning with a machine that spins a spiral snake into the pipe. Minutes later our clog was gone. He even beat his initial cost estimate. Thanks Andy!

CONTACT THESE GUYS IF YOU WANT TO PAY MOORE AND MORE AND MORE THAN THE COMPETITION CHARGES!Contacted Moore & More for help with squealing pipes in our ceiling. They did respond very quickly and the technician was able to arrive the next day. He was running very late unfortunately, and it totally screwed up the baby's nap time. The appointment was scheduled in a 2 hour window which coincided with the baby nap - unacceptable. We determined the pressure reducing valve at the water connection was failing, as the pressure was over 90 PSI. They quoted me $1000 !!!!! To replace a valve that costs $75 at Home Depot and takes maybe 30 minutes to replace. WOW - incredible... DO NOT CALL THESE GUYS. I've received other quotes for $250, $375 and $425 and the local yokel handyman would do it for $175... unbelievable.

We had someone from Johnny rooter install new sink and faucet for us about 6 months ago.It was installed poorly by someone know longer with the company. When our faucet quit working this week and the disposal broke, they sent someone over immediately. They were able to fix everything. Sean and Jason were great! They had to get creative because of some electrical problems but they were able to fix the sink and disposal. And they didn't even charge us! Will definitely use again.

They came out first thing on a Saturday morning, after I noticed a leak (wet dirt; meter spinning), and Austin Water had came off to turn off the main line. They quoted me a price that was less than I expected, and got things taken care of on the spot. Ended up being resolved far quicker than I had expected, and I'm grateful someone answered the phone after 11pm on a Friday night!

Refuses to let you buy your own parts even if they are the exact ones he would use. Which to me sounds like a scam. Getting over on people must be how he makes a living

I hardly ever write reviews anywhere, for anything, and am pretty private (hence the weird Google name, lol), but had to for these guys. A long-time friend of mine suggested Redbud to me because I was looking for the impossible: professional work, ballpark range of costs upfront with no hidden fees later, experience in working with older homes, a company taking COVID precautions (masks, shoe booties, etc), leave no trace of trash/leftover materials and has excellent customer service. She raved about them & the integrity of their owner. Redbud has exceeded my expectations! I should have written a review last year, but I like to evaluate a company thoroughly first. We had several estimates done on our leaky tub & clogged drain. Not only did they have competitive prices, they fixed the problem & was one of the two companies that actually found the leak in the crawl space. We called them again for our low-pressure shower output, which turned out to be a diverter problem and now the strong flow is awesome. The new faucet is perfect for our claw-foot tub.Another time our hot water heater was corroded, leaked into the house & stopped working. They replaced it and added a drip pan prevent water from ever leaking into the house like that again. One time our furnace needed repair, but the repairman said we also needed a plumber to bring a certain part of the repair job up to code, which that company would be more than happy to do with their own plumber. We let that company take care of the HVAC. However, we called Chris at Redbud & it cost less than half what the other company's plumbing department would have charged. The HVAC company even commented that Redbud did their part of the job right. Now, our kitchen faucet leaks and the pipes underneath the sink are starting to corrode. I didn't think twice, and never will, about who to call for all of our plumbing services.Unlike some companies, they don't tour through your home looking for extra work or have lengthy conversations to convince/upsell you to buy something you don't need. It's great to have this peace of mind & I'm so happy with them!Nicole W., Austin, Tx

I had a really great experience with Al Mac Pumbing & Gas. Alex is a knowledgeable, responsive, reliable and trustworthy. He has been apart of transforming our yard from day 1 and was integral in making our space exactly how we wanted it. We needed to trench our yard to extend our gas line and have a few stub outs for new water heaters and a grill. He does quality work and I would absolutely call him in the future.

Abacus was the only company that could come out on a weekend same day to address an exterior water line break made more difficult by failing system equipment which had left our house without water. Their service technician Eddie was superb as he addressed two major complicated issues despite the work going into Saturday night. The cost and work were great value for money and Eddie provided the best service I have seen in over 30 years of home ownership. Great work Abacus and Eddie.

Our experience was A-1 from start to finish. Fast service, price up front, replaced a part at a fair price, professional technician who was very polite and explained what was needed. This is our second experience with Stan’s and both were excellent.

Over the last 2 years we have had Fox Service Company replace 3 HVAC systems and none of them have functioned properly. A total of 6 visit from 6 different technicians. Finally demanded a supervisor (Darren) come out to inspect everything. The supervisor was embarrassed by what he found. One of my units was set up for natural gas versus propane. The second unit had a blown capacitor which the other 6 technicians couldn’t figure out. The third unit was the completely wrong system, missing a wire and had to be replaced. The 6 other technicians couldn’t figure this out?It is really frustrating when you tell the 6 technicians that something isn’t working properly and they look at you like you’re crazy or don’t know what you’re talking about.I guess this is what happens when you are not locally owned anymore. Fox is now owned by a big HVAC company out of Florida that is expanding rapidly. It’s all about shareholder profits.Honestly I think the supervisor (Darren) is the best person at Fox! He is very thorough, follows up and knows his stuff since he has been in the industry quite awhile! That man deserves a raise!!!They still need to come back an make sure it operates in cold weather but crickets from FOX.
