Best Drains Replace in Austin TX

I had S&D out to my house to look at a plumbing leak coming from my garage (pre snowstorm). After they pushed the appointment because the technician got caught at another job site, I contacted another company about the leak. The other company came and fixed the leak for over $400 less than S&D quoted me (and S&D's quote was just for the leak investigation, not the plumbing repair, nor the patching of drywall and cement). S&D quoted me $1,400 for the investigation, while the other company did the investigation, repair, and drywall and concrete patching for $988. I then contacted S&D again about a tankless hot water heater (as the company I had just used doesn't offer that work), and accepted the quote and date given by S&D. Again, S&D called because, the technician got stuck at another job site. They tried to reschedule to a weekend more than a week away, after I had just hired someone to stay at my house to wait all day for them to arrive (which they didn't). Exceptionally high prices combined with not keeping appointments. Very frustrating experience, total lack of respect for other peoples time.

Mac did an excellent job changing out our shower fixtures. A previous plumber made the job seem like it was not possible based off the shower fixture sizing but Mac was able to make it happen! Would highly recommend Mac's work and will work with him in the future!

Fantastic experience with A&T. Had a leak that was so bad that Austin Water contacted me due to excessive water usage. Called A&T at 2pm, they had it done, yes done by 6 pm. Great work. Everyone was friendly with a sense of urgency. Corbin and Corbin, Associates, as I came to call them, explained everything as it was progressing, and made sure to get a quote before starting any major work. I'm a real estate agent and I just used Capital City Plumbing for my clients who were buying. I have used them in the past as well, but this transaction was more complicated with a foundation repair and a tight timeline. I needed to get repairs done before closing and Capital City Plumbing did a fantastic job communicating and getting the job done for me in order to close for my buyers on time. I also got another bid and they actually beat their price. Everything was super easy, great communication, and they understood my urgency of needing to get it done by a certain date and made it happen. The technicians were also super helpful and explained all of my questions and got back to me right away. I did not feel rushed or like I was bothering them. The entire staff including the techs and the office staff made me feel like they genuinely cared. I will definitely go to Capital City Plumbing for all of my plumbing needs in the future for my clients. Fantastic service and I felt they were very honest. This review should have been done long ago. Last August, one of our rental house had a slab leak while we were on vacation. We hired fast leak to fix it. After we agreed to thecharge, fast plumbing started working on it. After about 3 hours, they want to charge a lot more to fix it and they did not tell us where is the leak. They wanted 8K ~ 10K to fix the leak. We realized we were being scammed so we cut the loss. But they charged us $500 more than what we agreed. After paying $1315, we had no idea where is the leak and they were gone.We finally found a very good company, which pin pointed the leak and fixed it the next day for a total of $3500.The conclusion is: DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY. You are better off having a slab leak than dealing with them.

Had a leaking toilet. Plumb Masters had a cancellation so they had an opening for me - plumber came like an hour after I called, diagnosed the problem (eroded wax ring), and fixed it on the spot. Very reasonable price - $218. Then let me know about a broken flush valve - quoted the repair but let me know I could do it myself to save money if I wanted, which I opted to do. Love that transparency. Great company.

Travis and Aubrey were excellent, very informative and even went to purchase a new toilet from a direct provider after mine was shipped broken. They went above and beyond. Can’t recommend them enough! 1st Home and Commercial is a little pricey, but you get what you pay for in terms of quality and warrantied service.

Stepped up the challenge of fixing the water pressure in my shower. Showed up on time and reasonable prices (for a plumber).

I was hopeful to be supporting a locally owned and operated business and had requested a quote. The plumber came for our diagnostic appointment and we went through the various projects that I was looking to complete and I thought the diagnostic went well and was informed that I would need a clean out installed prior to starting work. Austin water completed work fairly quickly and I reached back out to Austin Plumbery requesting the quote that had been promised. It took over a month and a half and several requests to finally get the quote. When I reviewed the quote. It was as if everything we went through wasn’t even noted and only one of the work requests I had asked for was quoted. I feel completely gypped. Ok, I understand if you have to charge a diagnostic fee, but come diagnose and not even remember or move forward with requests afterwards is poor customer service. I will not be moving forward with the work with this company. The lack of attention to detail is a clear red flag to any future work.

I could not be happier with my experience using Abacus. Ricky was professional, personable, and knowledgeable. We had a water heater replaced and added a water softener. He even installed a toilet and faucet for free. Everything went just as expected. I would definitely use them again.

Charles and Matthew came and fixed a leaking sink for me at the last minute right before we left on vacation. They were super helpful and fast and explained everything they were doing thoroughly. Very professional and thorough - We detected an issue in the guest toilet which turned out was a broken pipe/connector in the foundation level - The team spent time detecting, called in the manager to review as the job was getting bigger and then created an action plan and fixed the issue per schedule.
