My wife had passed I few days earlier and my main line backed up on Sunday. I busy planning a funeral on Tuesday and had family coming in on Monday. After trying to get ahold of the company I had always used in the past with no luck, I tried a few other companies with no guarantee that could get to, I called Duck Duck Rooter and they were totally understanding of my situation. Called at 5:30 am on a Friday morning to leave a message and the returned my call by 7 am and were out to fix the leak by 8:30 am. Everyone I talked to was very polite, explained exactly what the problem was and what they were going to do to fix it. Finished in under an hour. Prices were reasonable for the timing of the repair and the location of the leak. They even told me things they'd noticed I would need to look out for that weren't a problem at the moment but so I'd be aware if they did become a problem in the future. I'd definitely recommend them.

Do not use these company. They are thieves, they told me that coming to quote was $99 and they billed me $299 without telling me anything. In the call I authorized the charge of $99 and they charged me $299 without telling me anything. Then his quote was a technician on the phone who told me a ridiculous number for the job. They are thiefs.

Had someone come check for a leak. He never even tried to turn off the main water or even look for the leak. He was at my house for maybe 5 minutes and didn't even give a quote for work I might need. Received a bill in the mail for $115 in the mail even though I was never told there was a fee or agreed to pay anything. This a a very dishonest company. Filing complaint with BBB and attorney general.
