I changed from a “big box” plumbing company that is trying to be everything your house needs and the pricing reflects. I wanted a smaller company with a stable staff. Harry Hayes Plumbing has been a supporter over the years of our nonprofit and I’m happy to have him at the top of my call list. I feel like I’ve been treated as a valued customer.
Half of one star. Sara in the office is very nice, cordial and a pleasure to deal with. After quoting a job for us and informing us that they would NOT be signing a contract with us they asked for 50% down-payment up front for services not yet rendered. Had we agreed to these outlandish terms we would have had no legal recourse in the event of failure to perform on their part. Simply saying that they are not interested in the job would have been quite a bit more professionally appropriate.
Prompt service, able to fix the issue the same day as the initial call. Service dispatch fee was a bit higher than expected but would use again due to their professionalism and ability to identify & quickly resolve the drainage clog leading to my septic system. Service techs were friendly & respectful and provided clear insights into possible root causes and how to avoid in the future. Would recommend to a friend.

Started out calling Harry Hayes Plumbing to get an estimate for replacing my toilet & bathroom faucet. A service charge applies for coming out just to give an estimate, which apparently is common with all plumbers & still charged whether they do the work or not. Justin came out & advised the toilet had a broken flange & could be replaced in lieu of replacing the toilet. Have him the go ahead to do it right then. He changed out the flange, which saved me around $400! Did a great job! The faucet just needed a new aerator but he did not have one for my faucet with him. He found it on Home Depot's website for me. Going to pick that up today & install myself. Glad I called this firm. Thank you for doing a neat professional job.

Great communication skills and very professional. Got a call from Justin letting me know exactly when he'd be here for installation as well as a text link shortly before they showed up to know where they were enroute. Installation was quick and justin was respectful of the home and even did his best to be as quiet as possible knowing my daughter was taking a nap. (and she didn't wake up so we all know that's a plus on his part lol). Pricing was more than fair according to what I had researched beforehand. The area was left in even cleaner condition than before and the old water heater was loaded up and taken with so we don't even have to worry about it being on the side of the road for pick up!

This is the best customer service I have received in years! I was a little skeptical because there was a dispatch fee of $125, but it was well worth it. Justin was on time, we got a text he was on his way and a phone call to my realtor who referred me. Justin was able to detect the issue with the supply line then found a leaking faucet outside. The association pays for the water so this will save them money! What a fantastic job and was all done timely too. Amazing. Justin is a gem!! Thank you Justin.

We recently moved into our home and needed a few plumbing items fixed from the inspection report. Good service, professional crew. Would definitely use them again.
I moved into a house to find that the entire sewage system continued to get clogged and after a couple month I noticed a real bad odor. Conner came out and mad fast work to find that my main sewage line was clogged and he made fast work to get the system flowing again and cleaned the mess with OCD perfection! Then Conner and Jacob came back to replace my entire pipes that was damaged due to the massive clog they found. This team of plumbers are the most professional and effective company. I highly recommend them!
Justin and his partner did a fabulous job on my bathrooms fixing the toilet and the sink. They cleaned up thoroughly from themselves wouldn't even know they were in there. Reasonable prices too highly recommend
Harry Hayes Plumbing was a subcontractor that did the plumbing for 2 small baths and a master bath. The 2 small bath were standard bath, with 1 tub converted to shower, there was no work in cement, only one shower head and moving the plumbing was minimal. They sent me an invoice for 17K, with no itemization for the work they did. In addition, they damaged my master bath vanity and 2/3 vanity plumbing leaked. I refused to pay the ridiculous amount! If I could give them a 0, I would!

Had THE WORST CLOG EVER that I worked on myself for 8 hours and finally gave up and called a pro!!! That would be Harry HAYES !!! They did have to work on it for several hours, But they didnt quit and got thru the clog and cleaned up the mess and got us back up and running!!! Thanks sooo Much !

Whole house being re-plumbed. Cast iron is shot and leaking under the house, old PVC is pieced together and sometimes not sloped properly, issues with shower, tub, sinks. Yep, it’s a mess.Then Harry came. Solid, thorough and honest evaluation. Now Jacob has begun work. Not finished yet, 3 days down and at least a week to go, but Jacob is polite, neat, has already proven himself trustworthy, punctual, an excellent communicator, and very knowledgeable about all the issues we face with this home built in 1957 and what to do about them. I’m very assured that we are in good hands. ?

We had 60 year old + plumbing in the wall between both bathrooms that needed to be renovated. Jacob was able to evaluate the condition of the pipes and give us an estimate. We had to replace the old pipes and knew it meant going through some tiles and the wall. He had to replace pipes all the wall to the venting and T joint which meant moving the toilet, (if I explained that correctly.) Jacob was able to save every tile but one, so we can place those back. He covered the open wall with a piece of wood and made sure it would stay in place until we could repair the tile. He was clean and courteous and cleaned up after the work was done. The cost was $2200 which made us swallow very hard, but we knew it had to be done. I would recommend Harry Hayes Plumbing. They will give you an estimate before any work is done. And if you choose not to use them, you only have to pay a service fee.

Harry Hayes plumbing was hired by my general contractor during a bathroom remodel. They did not set my bathtub in any kind of base, such as mortar, leaving the bathtub poorly supported and creaky to this day. They also set my toilet flange too high (5/8 above my finished floor) and not bolted down, resulting in some leakage and wood rot, which I discovered when I replaced the toilet. No one is perfect, but they definitely made some mistakes on my job.

I highly recommend Harry Hayes plumbing. All of them were professional from the phone person to the plumber who resolved our drain issue. Very nice to get that personal touch these days as so many companies have gotten so large they dont care about the customer. That certainly is not the case with Harry Hayes, absolutely phenomenal!!
Had my three bath house re piped. The guys were punctual and worked hard. As a retired pipefitter I was watching them like a hawk. No need to. The pipe is installed properly and looks good. I highly recommend this company.
I called to see if I could get a technician out to unclog our kitchen sink. Their schedule was full today but called me back about 30 minutes later since they had a cancellation. Harry Hayes Plumbing is top notch. They are such a great example of professionalism & excellent customer service. They have done a couple of smaller jobs for us in the past & we have always been very happy with their service. This last visit has been our biggest plumbing job yet. Our entire main drain system is being replaced along with all of the interior plumbing lines. Major overhaul is happening! Joshua Connor is our guy & he has been phenomenal. I'm very happy with this company and my service provider. Josh C. was professional and friendly from the start, worked fast, thoughtfully cleaned up, and added value by fixing another small drainage issue with the remaining time in my hour (told you he worked fast!). Really good communication throughout the process too, got a timely call from their office when the original plumber got held up by a previous job. Very happy, highly recommend!
These guys were awesome, i had a complete re-pipe from galvanized to PEX. I didn't realize how much work went into a re-pipe, glad I didn't try it myself. Theses guys were so skillful it's unbelievable there was hardly any mess, I don't know how they did it but THANK YOU guys, I have already told all my friends so you might be getting some calls, and again thank you.
Eric was knowledgeable and answered all my questions. He was prompt, professional, and worked efficiently. This is the second time we’ve had Harry Hayes Plumbing out (two separate issues). Both times, we received the same plumber, which helps us feel more comfy about having him in our home.
We had an emergency regarding our bathroom during the night, so when I called Harry Hayes Plumbing the next morning, Courtney, who answered our call, was compassionate and understanding of our dilemma. She was able to fit us in that morning. When Eric and a tech came, they were professional and kind. Eric was able to identify the problem, and make the repair for us. He quoted the cost to us before proceeding, which I appreciated. He and the tech did an excellent job, making sure all lines were clear and everything was in working order before he left. I called 3 plumbers for estimates on replacing cast iron plumbing in my crawl space. Harry Hayes was the only one that would come take a look without charging me for the estimate. Jacob was on time, a great communicator, and crawled all over the crawlspace to photograph the problem areas in need of replacement. He explained to me in detail the scope of the work needed and I felt he was honest with me and eager to do the job to correct all the issues. I'm not sure yet if this estimate is the lowest however, I would not mind spending a little more with this company based on their awesome customer service and ability to provide an on the spot estimate. Side note: It has been 48 hours and I'm still waiting to receive the estimate from the company that I paid $125 to come take a look :(

My water heater rusted out, and water was all over my garage floor. I called 3 services from my Google search, and Harry Hayes was the only company willing to be there the same day. Actually, it was within 2 hours. In summary, great, timely service at a fair price. Also, It's very apparent they take pride in their work. They will be my first choice for plumber in the future.

Eric and Michael did a wonderful job. They were on time and even called to let me know what time to expect them. Normally, I only write reviews when the service I receive is exceptional or horrendous. In this case,I received exceptional service from Harry L. Hayes plumbing. I had a plumbing issue that I'd been dealing with for quite sometime which was affecting 2 bathrooms in my home. I contacted Harry L. Hayes and received a response immediately with a scheduled time for the very next day. The gentlemen arrived earlier than scheduled and resolved my problems within minutes. The gentlemen were extremely professional and completed the job efficiently and expertly. I have not had any additional issues since. I will use this company again and would recommend their services, without hesitation.
We had a bad blocking in the kitchen sink. After trying the snake Eric went on top of the roof in 95 degree heat. He worked until it was a clear running drain. Harry Hayes is an excellent plumbing company with great employees. Highly recommended.

Installed washing machine vent and new pipe, fixed/repaired washing machine drain. The prior owner had some questionable plumbing work done, skipped the installation of a vent and used hoses instead of pipes in some areas. There was an 8 ft rubber hose from the washing machine drain to another line that should have been PVC pipe. The drain was also at an odd angle causing some smell/drainage issues.I dealt with four techs - the first two (Jacob and another nice man) visited to troubleshoot the problem because at first, I thought it was just a leak. As the issue was more involved, they could not fix immediately. They made sure I understood the problem completely, showed me photos from under the house and gave me a quote. There is a service fee to have them come look as with most plumbing companies. Booking a follow up appointment was easy. The work would have been completed the following day, but one of the techs had a medical emergency so my appointment had to be rescheduled. It was Labor Day weekend the job was not critical so I waited four more days for an appointment. Not a big deal for me - things happen. I do believe if it was a shower, toilet or flooding issue, they would have found a way to come out sooner.Jason and Connor came to do the repair and they were very nice, polite and respectful. The work was done well , they cleaned up after themselves and gave me a few pointers on some other not plumbing related work. I have full confidence in Harry Hayes and would certainly use them again for other jobs. They are not the most economical, but you can be sure they will do the job the right way and the service is great!

We had some minor plumbing work done by a neighborhood handyman that had been recommended to us to replace the faucets in our bathroom tub, thinking it would cost less to use this person. Within 2 weeks one of the faucets actually fell off! What was worse we realized that the pipes in the wall had been leaking and spraying water inside the walls every time we turned the water on! I called Harry Hayes Plumbing and the wonderful lady that spoke with me on the phone (I can't remember her name) was so sweet and said they could get someone out by the next day. The repairmen (Erick & Joey) came promptly at the scheduled time, had gloves and masks on for our safety, and were very friendly and knowledgeable. They got the job done quickly and efficiently and even repaired our toilet that had not been sealed or bolted properly by the prior handyman.I was thrilled with their work and the price was much lower than I could ever have expected! My husband, who has a hard time coming to terms with his age and inability to do these type things any longer, was so happy with the experience and how nice the repairmen were that he thanked them profusely and then thanked me several times the rest of the day that I had called Harry Hayes Plumbing! Everyone at this house is very happy today!

We were able to arrange for non emergency service over the holidays just a few days in advance. Eric arrived on time and quickly did the kitchen faucet we called about. While there he helped us with an ac drain, and had the special tool and drill bits to install a grab bar in the shower. Total time spent and the bill were very reasonable. Harry Hayes was one of my highest quotes BUT the vibe I got from everyone ..the professionalism, responsiveness, from every person I came into contact with through out the whole job was so refreshing and stress free. Be very careful when you get a QUOTE because the company that was my lowest price wanted to charge me 350 to come back out again and give me a definite bottom line quote ...I was confused what was the reason for coming out the first time ? Was that the fantasy quote the quote everyone dreams about but doesn't really get?! I'm not wasting my time to find out. Harry hayes called when they said ,showed up when they promised to, I have not one complaint that's hard to find these days they were definitely worth it and will hire again, I had an old sewer line replaced Ryan and Austin were awesome did an incredible job thanks guys ! ?

I called this company and ask them to send someone to replace the float switch on my septic system. Jacob Patterson came he spent almost two hours looking at the septic system only to tell me i need to empty it soon and to replace the float switch. They charge me $400 for diagnostic which i already told them the float switch was the issue. Now when i call they told mw they cannot find that specific float switch to replace it. I am out of $400 and my septic system is still down. This company is ripping people off by killing time when they come out and charge you $150 per hour. Bad experience. I am advising people to not make the same mistake i did.

Had an issue with our drainpipe from a recently remodeled bathroom that Mr. Conner came out to take a look at. We were under the initial impression that we’d likely have to get the entire drainpipe replaced, but Josh looked at the plumbing and determined that our contractor had incorrectly seated and sealed the toilet to the drainpipe, resulting in water in the crawlspace. He was up front about what he expected the issue to be, didn’t bs us at all, and when he removed the toilet to confirm what the problem was he had accurately identified the source of the water. Would highly recommend Harry Hayes plumbing - friendly, professional, and above all they won’t take you for a ride to try and make an extra buck.

We gave Ryan a difficult task, to find a crazy leak - outside the house, somewhere in the big yard. He not only found it, in a short time, but, went that extra mile of being certain all was right. Had a drain clog up over weekend, decided it was worth the pay for the emergency callout for a Sunday, called and left message, and signed up for a appointment on Sunday. Never heard from them. When I called this morning, they sent a plumber right out to fix the clog. Very happy to have clog cleared. Just wish they had a better weekend callout notification.
Eric with Harry Hayes Plumbing came out to one of our company's stores to locate any possible leak. The water bill for this store had doubled. He checked toilets, spigots, backflow, and basically anything else that could have a leak. He also spent some time watching the water meter to determine if there was a leak. When he called to fill me in on all of this, he even told me that the city's utility company was replacing a water main very near to our store. I can't use the phrase above and beyond enough for these folks and will use them again in the future!

Harry Hayes and his team did a great job hooking up my kitchen sink.However, after the job was done in under 25 minutes and I was charged $400, I couldn’t help but feel ripped off. I was under the impression, given the quote and a conversation with Harry, that this would be a more labor intensive project and I likely would not use them again purely based on this pricing.
Justin and his assistant were helpful and patient. They were very thorough. Highly recommended.
Nice people and we used them a couple times in the past for smaller projects. However, this last time was an entire bathroom remodel. At the beginning, they came out and said they were unable to fix one of our initial issues. Still was charged for the visit; unwilling to wave/lower the fee or credit it towards the entire project. So, we paid them and quickly found another company who easily fixed that issue and now has the contract for the entire project.Bottom line: I didnt feel like my concerns and issues were the priority this last time. Maybe they just had a bad day, but it's the little things that make the difference sometimes.
The plumber they sent was Josh Conner. He was very professional and knowledgeable. Answered all questions in a polite and curious manor. Will use this company again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to family and friends.

I had quite a bit of work done in February of 2019. Jacob did an exceptional job. I was very pleased with the whole experience. I had to call them again recently. Eric came out and fixed my leaking toilet.I had to call them again recently when it appeared that I had a plumbing problem. The problem was that my septic tank was backed up. The guy with Jacob dug up the ground where the lid to my septic tank was. Jacob put a metal rod that was like a needle, but thicker down into it and told me it was full without having to remove the lid.I called the septic tank company that he recommended as I had just had my septic tank pumped out October 31, 2019 and it shouldn't have been full making me think the company that I used didn't do a good job. I called the service he recommended and was told it would be a week before they could get to me. Jacob called the office and asked them to call the septic tank company and ask for an immediate appointment for me. They got two men from that company to come out that day and pump out my septic tank.I found out that I had a problem because the inspector from the Department of Health came out to inspect the drain lines of my septic tank. He told me when I called the plumber to tell them to bring lime salt for the sewage that had leaked out. Jacob brought one bag, but he didn't think I had as much sewage leaked out as I did.I recently had spinal surgery. I have a 20 lb weight limit on what I can lift. Under normal circumstances, I could have gone to Home Depot or Lowes and bought more lime salt myself. I just couldn't do it with my weight restriction. I called Harry Hayes back and explained the problem. They went and bought a 50 lb bag of lime salt and had a man bring it out to my house that same day and spread it out for me as I had to do the cleanup of the sewage with the lime salt ASAP for the inspector.Overall, Harry Hayes Plumbing went above and beyond for me. Their prices are fair and competitive with current market prices for plumbers. I will only use them again in the future for my plumbing needs.
Jacob did most of the plumbing in our bathroom Reno and did a fabulous job. He was on time did his work and was a pleasure to work with. Would highly recommend him and Harry Hayes Plumbing!!

I want to thank this company I didn't make a deal with them. When I made an appointment was everything nice and perfect. On day of appointment I came 5 min earlier, called the company to confirm. I heard the answer machine, I said I'm at the address right now. I was waiting for two and half hours and...... no one came. I called again no one picked up the phone So, I don't want to get any deal with this company.
Harry Hayes Plumbing performed an urgent repipe job for an elderly relative and did a fine professional job. They have skilled plumbers on staff and Mr. Hayes has many years of experience as a master plumber. I highly recommend them for their workmanship and their integrity.

Eric and Mike did a great job. Everything was perfect except Harry way overcharged me for the pump that they installed. I was charged $2400 for a pump that is listed online for $1695.
Jacob and Tyler were able to come by earlier than expected by several hours, which was much appreciated! They also took the time to explain my limited options and which one was most cost effective and also going to solve the problem long term - luckily they were the same solution. Unfortunately, it was quite costly, but not a job I could have done myself by any means, so worth the value! Thank you, gentleman!
