Betros Plumbing Contractors

I hired Betros to install an under-mount kitchen sink. The first plumber came out and installed the sink. The sink lasted 4 hours. before it came loose and fell into the cabinet. This was a 2-day job. The second plumber came out, glued the brackets up. Came back to install the sink only to have a bracket come off. At this point Betros gave up leaving me with a mess. (After each visit they left me with a mess to clean up. Very sloppy.) So, after 4 days of not being able to use my kitchen, their solution is, here's your money back. We're willing to have someone come out and prop the sink up with wood. My old sink was propped up with wood. That's why I bought a new sink to have it installed right. It took me the next day to find someone to install the sink properly. They did offer $200 on my next job with them. Would any of you go back to someone after they leave you with a mess? I have more self-worth than that.

I had a reverse osmosis system moved from one home and installed in another after moving. It wasn’t a straight forward swap, and the dimensions under the sink in the new house were smaller. Jay and Travis came us with a solid plan and were able to execute it to completion. I’m pleased with the work and the value they bring to their craft. Excellent job!

So this would be my second review apparently my first one was removed. I would like to start off by saying I highly recommend against using this company. If my original review was removed theres no telling how many more. I used them to replumb all my drainage and supply lines to my house. They were able to start with all walls and flooring removed in the house so it should have been super easy however it took close to a month for the project to be completed. To start... issues with the supply side of things. Pipes weren't properly strapped and I had to go back and do this myself. And had issues with pipes coming apart and flooding my attic. The tech immediately came back out. But didn't offer any help or compensation for the wet ceiling and stains that came through. Most of my problems however came from the drainage side. Inspection was failed multiple times. Once they did pass, The main vent pipe going through the wall wasn't lined up properly and had to be redone. The rough in for the tub and toilet were wrong and had to be redone. This was just one of those things where if it could go wrong it would. They did take a little off the price but not enough in my opinion.

My company had an issue with three broken pipes, an emergency situation for the day! The plumber, Jay Wade, was incredibly responsive to our emergency and showed up within the hour. He did a great job fixing these pipes quickly, correctly, and efficiently. We highly recommend this company!! They did a fantastic job.

After being denied a claim from my home warranty company for repairing my downstairs bathroom toilet that backed up I called Betros Plumbing. My first contractor came out removed the toilet and ran the line trying to bust the clog. What he discovered was that I had a sewage pump for the house addition that had become unplugged. We plugged the system back up and like magic the backup cleared immediately. Fast forward 8 days when I got around to cleaning the shower. The shower began to back up once again. I called and Betros plumbing came back out to investigate the problem. The two techs Jay and Solomon were professional and got right to work. They assessed that something was wrong with the switch that activated the pump. They realized the activator float had come unattached as wasn’t able to send a signal to the pump to turn on. They quickly and expertly reattached the float so that it would properly activate. They were quick and efficient. I highly recommend this company and these guys. Great service and they will be the only ones I call from here on out. Thanks guys. You saved me!

I first researched Betros plumbing and they had one of the highest rating with decent amount of feedback. It’s an honor to add another great feedback and our experience with Betros plumbing company. Team showed up quickly to help us with a spigot that our landscaper ran over. They got the job done quickly, were reasonable, courteous, and professional.

This is my 3rd time using Betros Plumbing, Jay and Solomon make an excellent team. They had to reset a toilet in the master bath that was not installed correctly. Removed old flange and replaced and reset toilet there. In the guest bath they removed an old toilet, replaced the flange and set the new toilet. I can't say enough about this company. I highly recommend them for any and all plumbing needs.

Justin and Evans did an absolutely fabulous job! They were very kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. Our water works better than ever. They made sure everything was working properly and cleaned up after themselves. Just a wonderful service overall. I was getting ready for bed and went into the kitchen. I heard water dripping. I looked under the sink and found a flood. The garbage disposal was leaking bad. (fyi - your dishwasher empties into the disposal) I knew it was too late to deal with it so I threw a bunch of towels under the sink and went to bed. The next morning I went in search of a plumber that would come out on a Saturday. I called Betros Plumbing answering service. I told her my problem and she said she would forward it to the office. To my surprise I got a call back almost immediately. He was very polite and helpful. He informed me of their rate for off hours. I agreed and he said he would send someone out. A half hour later I received a call from Jay Wade with an estimate. He arrived soon after. He was very nice, did a fantastic job, and cleaned up. But most importantly he was approved by my dog. That's all the approval I needed. Thanks Jay.

We were installing a new dishwasher, but the water valve was stuck. Called Betros plumbing and they sent out Tyler Willhite. He arrived at within 1/2 hour, repaired the valve, and everything worked fine. Definitely would recommend Betros and Tyler as a technician.

Great service. Justin and Terrez were very professional & freindly. Explained what they had to do. I live in a town home so access to piping was limited. They kept from completely tearing out my tile to fix a leaky shower valve so I didn’t have to pay to re-tile my shower. They promptly came back to fix another leak covered by warranty and again limited the damage done to tiles so that it was covered up when they finished. Would recommend.

We had our main waterline burst while my husband was showering. I called so many plumbers and received voicemails for 24 hr service providers. I even called Roto Ruter, that has yet to get back to me, over 4 hours later. I am so pleased that Betros Plumbing was so prompt to respond to our dilemma (especially with us being located in a rural area outside of Jacksonville, about 1 hour away)The waterline was fixed in no time!!!! We are so thankful for their service! We will definitely use them to properly install our plumbing that was not properly installed 1 year ago! As you can see our waterline is millimeters from the ground surface. The plumber told me code is 12 inches. Not sure how this was approved by Clay County permitting department.

We thought so much if Andy and Travis that we had to have them back! We had a pipe leak on an outside pipe! Once again the guys got to work immediately. This one was a little tougher to solve but the guys resolved the problem with remarkable sleuthing and skill. Found the leak and its source and again solved the problem. Jay Wade came to fix emergency water break at our house today May 26th. He was extremely knowledgeable and professional. He put a lot of effort to replace the broken pipe and did some modifications so that the same problem less likely happens again. Tylor Willhite came out today and fixed our pipe we spent the last week trying to fix in less than an hour! Sink repiped as thats what caused the leak and the clog was pretty deep in the pipe and he was able to get that cleared up pretty quick too! Amazing steadfast work! Will go back to Betros in the future!

I was having some serious issues with the drainage in my house so I called my good pals at Betros Plumbing to help. The dispatch had someone come out within a few hours of my call to help me out. Justin and Evan arrived and were nothing but professional throughout the visit. They were communicative with letting me know exactly when they would arrive, they diagnosed the issue within minutes, answered all of my questions throughout the process, and most importantly FIXED the issue efficiently. Jay and Tyler made a very horrible Monday much better. I had a serious blockage in my main drain line since Saturday morning that was causing two toilets and 2 showers to backup, and a lot of sludge and water on the floor left by another plumbing company that came this morning but was not able to resolve the issue. When Jay arrived, he went right to the main problem area and did not stop until he pulled the shower drain open, pulled the toilet, and accessed the clean-out outside. He kept at it until he had some success and had Tyler come to work with him on the jet cleaning of the line to clear out all the sludge and resolve the blockage completely. I was even kindly consoled with a hug when I was near tears thinking it was going to cost more than I expected. They completely cleaned up all the mess and left me with working toilets and showers, no stinky sludge or water on my floors and a sense of calm. I would highly recommend this company, and if you can get my Jay and Tyler, you will be truly pleased with the outcome. Thank you so much Jay and Tyler - this grandma truly appreciates you and your kindness and patience with me and my 3 little grandsons.

Betros is an excellent company. Bryson was fantastic to work with on site. This service dealt with the water heater but we recommend them for all of their services. We absolutely will use them for all services.

I had Betros plumbing come out just before Christmas, the drain was backing up into the shower when we flushed the toilet. Their team came out and looked at a few things for about 15 minutes and told me that my septic tank was full and needed to be pumped. I then called a septic company to come do this and when they got here they said that that was absolutely not true, it was only about a quarter of the way full, and that it was a septic line clog and I should call the plumber I used to get my money back. I called Betros to get my payment back and instead they offered to send another team to help with the clog which I accepted because the septic company said they might not be able to get the clog out for me. The second team came and did help get the clog out but I had to run to the hardware store because they didn’t have a snake on them… unbelievable. All in all I would not recommend this company it ended up costing me $500 unnecessarily to have my septic pumped when that wasn’t even the issue, I’ve tried to discuss with them to get the cost covered and they ignore my calls.

Four sink stoppers and a shower heat pack were replaced. The staff (Jay and Salomon) were very courteous and friendly. They answered all the questions I had and took care of the issues we had.

Shawn and Sam came to our house and said they would take of the clogged drain. Sure enough they cleared the drain. They were very professional and were careful not to leave a mess. Couldn’t tell they were here. Would recommend their service to anyone. Thanks for coming the same day we called.

Called for an estimate appt and then called again the morning of the appt to confirm the estimate for a timely job at a property. The business didn't call the day of the appt at all and the worker never showed up. They mistyped my phone AND my email, subsequently throwing off my entire timeline for the home sale.

Tylor and Andy were efficient and came in right away and diagnose the problem, giving us insight to what went wrong and what corrective action needed to take place to make the repair, would definitely recommend them for future services.

Jay inspected our leaking hot water heater and 2 leaking bath tub drains. He was able to replace the gaskets of the two bathtub drains and informed me that the hot water heater tank is draining so a new one is needed.

Andy and Travis were rock stars installing a new toilet which required moving a 106 year old sewer line- they were timely, personable and did great work! Another team, Mackey and Evans, replaced a sewer stack with surgical precision and were a delight to work with.

I give my highest recommendation for this company. Mackey and Evans came out to my house where I had water coming through my wall and into the next room. They isolated the leak and we’re very clear explaining to me what was going on, the costs, and actions to repair my house. They were extremely professional the entire time and knowledgeable with what they were doing. They even talked to the insurance agent for me explaining what needed to happen. 10/10 would use again.

I was a little disappointed in being charged for an hour and a half of service. Typically it is a 45 minute job to change out a toilet. The gentleman that came to my house were extremely thoughtful respectful & knowledgeable. However, their truck was not equipped with two common items needed to fix/replace a toilet, flange & wax seal. This seems to me a company miss. I took the initiative to go to the store to get the items to save money. The time it took to go to the store and return would have covered that extra 30 minutes I was charged. Otherwise very pleased with the service

Andrew & Terrez we’re lifesavers! Our lawn guys burst the main water pipe to our home leaving us without water. Betros plumbing came and worked on it during the hurricane. We thought this would be an excavation job, and fortunately through their craftiness and efficiency they were able to work around the concrete and only chip away a little. They beat everyone else’s prices as well! We’re beyond appreciative for this company and workers!

Jay came out to service us and to unclog our washing machine drain line. He was very professional, came well prepared, found the issue and fixed it in a timely manner and cleaned up behind himself! They did a good job. But I'm very disappointed because before the service I told them this was going to be for an insurance claim. I ask them for an itemized recipe and they never did it. I call them and they never call me back. I lost the insurance money.

They were going to do same day service on Saturday but this could wait till today so I set up a window between 8 and 10. I called Betros Plumbing to troubleshoot and repair an issue I was having with my septic tank pump. A plumber was able to come the same day that I called for service; thank goodness because it was a FRIDAY afternoon and I really did not want to wait until Monday for service!!! The employee that came was on-time, listened to my concerns, courteous and was able to correct the problem in a timely matter. This was one of the best plumbing experiences we’ve had. We were quoted $2300 for installing the 3 compartment sink in our kitchen; Betro’s did it for $750 and it would have been less had we not run into a minor issue created by another contractor. Betros is best plumbing company I have ever worked with. Working in the construction industry myself I know the time and effort that is needed for a streamline process and Betros made it look easy. We made a call to Betros on Monday morning because we had no water to our house - within a few hours their technician, Jay Wade, was at our house ready to diagnose the problem. This is the second time I have used this company and they are amazing! The first time was for a plumbing issue and they had Jay come out the next morning. He was both knowledgeable and professional. The second time Jay came out was for a toilet installation and the service was just as amazing as the first time. I cannot recommend this company and Jay enough.

Jay & Evans were very polite and professional. They cleared a backup from our sink and laundry drains. Had to also run the snake on the main vent. We were concerned that our pipes were broken and had requested jet and camera. They were honest enough and told us that it was not needed which was a great savings. Recommend Betros Plumbing highly.

Mr. William (Willy) performed my services and he was an exemplary example of what customer service and professionalism should be, he worked for eight hours uninterrupted no breaks with a smile on his face, he continually explained everything he was doing and asked for permission for anything that was out of the ordinary. They have been prompt in help n getting the issue fixed. But in a difference of less than 30 mins, when we found out that they haven’t tightened the pipe which connects to the drinking water faucet which caused the water to leak whenever we operated the drinking water faucet. Tried calling the person who fixed our issue a couple of times and tried texting along with the video but they never reverted. We had to fix the issue on our own again…

This is an EXCELLENT Company for ANY & ALL plumbing needs that might surface. This is my personal experience with this company. I had an emergent sewage issue on Christmas Day no less, and after calling other plumbing contractors who were no shows, I fortunately called Betros Plumbing who promptly answered the phone, and was in my home and diagnosing the problem in LESS than 1-hour! My Betros tech, “Jay”, was professional and knowledgeable, and took great care & caution not to damage or dirty the surrounding areas of my home where he had to access and work. The work was fairly extensive but it was diagnosed and resolved quickly and even though the work was accomplished on a Holiday and “after hours”, the billing was extremely reasonable and more than fair IMHO.When Jay arrived, he politely introduced himself, removed his shoes before entering the home, and gave a brief back ground about the company itself. This is a full service plumbing contractor that does everything from new commercial & residential construction to after hour residential service calls like in my situation. Even though Betros Plumbing services the southeast part of the Country, This is a Family owned and operated business with a strong focus on customer satisfaction as my tech made sure we were pleased and advised of the process along the way. In short, I’d recommend this company to anyone in need of plumbing services.

Mike quickly got me an estimate to sign and they got to work within the week. It took them only 2 days to repipe my whole house, him and his crew showed up early and did not mess around. Both days they were here, they left my house cleaner than it was when they came that morning.Mike did an excellent job communicating with me and explaining what exactly they were doing. Words can’t describe how great this company is, friendly, understanding, super knowledgeable. I had tenants moving in while I was moving out and the house was getting painted. So you get the picture and the water heater needed to be replaced that day so the tenant could have hot water on their first night in their new home. Well this company worked and worked to make that happen, and I can’t thank them enough.

Difficult lengthy kitchen drain pipe to unclog after 30 years of use. First plumber called tried but to no avail. When I called Betros Plumbing with a toilet/pipe issue, I was given an appointment for the next day. Jay and Travis diagnosed and repaired the problem and gave me helpful advice on how to prevent similar problems in the future. I asked for an estimate for a new water heater purchase and installation. After accepting the estimate via email, I received a phone call and was again able to get an appointment for the following day. Jay and Travis did quality work replacing the water heater and answered all my questions. The people who spoke with me on the phone regarding both service calls were also friendly and professional.

They replaced my tub and shower fixtures. Brydon and Sam were very professional. I was very pleased with the quality of work and the final cost. I highly recommend Betros Plumbing for all of you Plumbing jobs. I spoke to 4 Plumbing companies prior to talking to them. They are the best in pricing.

Mackey came out in the rain a couple of weeks ago and managed to relieve a clog in my drains all the way out by the street. Unfortunately it appeared he had merely poked a hole in the clog because it backed up again 2 or 3 weeks later. I called again on Sunday and was told it could be covered under warranty even though technically it was beyond the typical warranty period. Jay was out here within an hour and had us cleared up and cleaned up quickly. I managed to find the access point for the drains out in the yard this time, so Jay didn't have to use all 100 feet of the snake just to get to the clog, so I'm more confident that he was able to clear the blockage better this time. Thanks guys!
