Had a pipe burst on Thanksgiving. Called another service which we had used before only to have them dismiss me as not being an emergency (but not tell me that). Called Carter, they told me they were pretty booked today, but would squeeze me in because they knew I had no water. Had someone there within an hour. He didn't have every piece of equipment he needed, so he ran out and got it to replace the broken pipe. Would definitely use again, but I hope to never have to!

Hamm & Sons was the only company I found that quoted an exact price over the phone to replace a water heater. I called other companies to get even a ‘ballpark’ figure and none were willing to give me one, although one finally gave me a price with no guarantee. Another insisted someone had to come to my house to give me an estimate. Both prices were more than $600 over Hamm & Sons’ price. I was so worried by the extraordinary price difference that I called H&S back several times to confirm. The price charged after the installation was the exact price given over the phone. I also expected a less than qualified installer to show up due to the low price. My worry was proven wrong. Keaton (I hope I got his name right), a professional in every way, arrived alone, said it would take about 2 hours to install, but I’m pretty sure the entire install didn’t take longer than an hour from the moment he arrived until I handed him a check!
Time will tell about the quality of the water heater, but I was so impressed with the entire installation experience that I’m telling everyone I know.

Update: Unfortunately, they don’t unclog drains.

Their pricing was reasonable, they were fast and efficient. A little hiccup after installing with instructions but they quickly rectified it. Overall a good experience. Gary Dunagan and Thomas Wilson were great.

My Tech, Tyree was very nice and solved my issure with my heating problem, will always ask for Tyree again. Thank you.

We had Casey install a water softener in our house. He said he would be here between 2 and 4. He got here a little after 2. We explained what we needed, he listened. He did the job we agreed upon, explained what we needed to know about water softeners and showed us how it works. Great job. We would highly recommend him. Thanks Casey.

I highly recommend Corey and Plumb on. He was very knowledgeable and most importantly honest about whether I should have the maintenance done on my water heater. He wasn't trying to sell me anything either. I will be calling him for any future plumbing needs. I don't often write reviews but I want people to know that this is a locally family owned business that you can trust!

Bryce was so friendly and professional. Normally service guys get to the work but have very little customer service. He was very friendly, Knowledgeable and helpful.

In February we had our fireplace on and we smelled gas so we turned off the fireplace and called Mansfield Plumbing (since they were recommended by Godby and that is who installed our fireplace).

On March 3rd, Dalton from Mansfield Plumbing came to the house and tightened 2 nuts inside the fireplace (near where the gas line came into the fireplace). He never checked anything else – not inside or outside, nor did he turn the gas on to check it. He was in our house for a maximum of 5 minutes (no joke). We were sent a bill IMMEDIATELY for $205 from them.

We did not turn on the gas fireplace again for a week or so and still smelled gas, so we called them again. Dalton returned and did some crazy, funky stuff outside. He assumed the gas smell was coming from the key insertion into the house, so he wanted to replace the connector outside. (Keep in mind that was why we originally called them and paid the $200 on March 3rd.) When he replaced the connector he moved it further away from the house (a good 12+ inches). He then came in and told us our key that turns on the fireplace no longer works that WE would have to go find/buy a 12-inch key AND a 12-in extender to be able to reach the new connector to be able to turn on the fireplace?? In the mean time he was going to just turn off the gas, so basically he never tested this new connector to see if it even worked correctly because we had no key to turn it on….. We were sent a bill IMMEDIATELY for $548 from them.

We then went to another plumbing store and bought a key and connector and SURPRISE – it did not work, so we had to call them again….. Another man came to the house (Richard) and now had to redo everything that Dalton did, and move the gas line and connector closer to the house so a normal 12-inch key will reach the turn value without the extender. To fix this problem he also had to replace the pipe coming into our house and made the hole a lot bigger…. Now that it is April, however, we can’t really check the fireplace to see if it works, but at least a key will turn it on…

Now, however, because he had to make the hole where the pipe comes into our house bigger we have to know have (another company) come out and try to fix the gush of air that is now constantly coming into our house from either the pipe or around the pipe and fix the tacky calk that is piled around the pipe on the outside of our house on the brick (tacky)……

We were promised they would “reevaluate” our bills and make it right with us, but that is not true. They made us pay all the originally bills. Bottom line this company got $753 from us and did a TERRIBLE job, and now we have to find someone to come and stop the cold air coming into our house by the pipe and fix the tacky patch job they did around the pipe on the outside of the house on the brick. (Have a picture of this.) So be ware and be prepared to pay a lot of money and probably not have it done correctly.

Eric was a very personable and professional young man, very knowledgeable and willing to explain everything he was doing. He worked diligently and neatly, taking care not to leave a mess. He carefully returned the removed faucets so we can donate them to Habitat for Humanity. He did a nice job at adding an access panel for the hose bib he replaced for us. Overall quite impressed with his work, except that he seemed to forget to turn on the water heater circuit breaker before he left so the next morning we didn't have any hot water ☹️. Easily fixed, but wifey had to take a not-so-hot shower.

The technician was very professional and polite and had our heat going with in 20 to 30 minutes which we appreciate very much Thank you very much perry sisk you was great. That is what keeps me coming to Chapman's and all the techs. Great Business

Danny is great, does wonderful work and is very reasonable on price. He completely rebuilt my master shower from scratch in the fall, looks and works better than it originally did. He also installed a water softener that actually works and gives us great water quality, no more smell to the water or dingy white laundry anymore! Out of all the contractors I've had work at the house the past year or so Danny has been the only one who shows up on time and keeps you updated throughout the entire job. Can't say enough great things about his work!
