My sewer line was backing up on a Saturday which they did everything they could before they determined they needed to dig up the spot they marked to get eyes on the troubled spot. Turns out I had a broken sewer line pipe and within 6 days of the original call, they had the pipe fixed. Mark and Shawn did a great job in the short amount of time to get things fix. My husband, Jed, contacted Weilhammer Plumbing desperate one evening because our hot water heater had died. They were available to install the top of the line comparable 50gal Rheem tank the very next morning. They were professional, punctual, did quality work, and even cleaned up after their mess. They also did all this at about 1/3 of the cost of their competitors! We would definitely recommend, and will use them again if needed in the future!

They were subcontracted by another vender to complete a small job in our home. I got a good vibe from them, they’ll be my first call for a quote on our next project/issue (I’ll update the review). My HOPE ? is that they’re better than other expensive companies who have major name brand recognition but don’t actually care about the customer.

Wonderful to work with, will hire again if plumbing work needed in the future. I’ll be a loyal customer as Casey (the owner) and his crew were great the two times we had them do work so far— an antique bathtub install, requiring digging/laying pipe as well as new fixtures, and running gas for a new gas fireplace. I was thrilled that he did gas lines too!

I have done business with them on plumbing and heating for 20 years. I just bought a new central heating and ac system from them. There were some issues that arose after the install. I told them on friday and on monday they had a crew in to resolve the issues. The second crew did a fine job fixing the problems. Never a moments resistance from their management on fixing the problems. They do good work, are responsive to emergencies and are as reasonably priced as any one in this business is.

Thornton Plumbing helped me correct a massive plumbing problem in a basement. They arrived on time, communicated well, and completed the job properly for a reasonable amount of money. I highly recommend them.

I’d been using Chapman for my plumbing needs and decided to try Carters after experiencing one too many issues with Chapman’s work. I called Carters with a tight timeline and they were able to accommodate same day. Brandon and Branden were incredible from the start. When they arrived, I was attempting to help load a grill into an SUV and Brandon hopped out of his van and ran over to help. I told them what I’d been told by Chapman and they proceeded to work on the solution. I’d purchased 7 different shower cartridges with the hopes that one would work, but none fit. The guys ran to Menards and purchased an adapter. This was the exact opposite of my experience with Chapman. Their plumber advised me that it would be better if I installed the cartridge myself and that anyone could do because it was easy. Needless to say, I watched videos and was too scared to try. Brandon and Branden resolved my issues, consulted with options, and informed me that the work previously performed by Chapman wouldn’t pass an inspection. I sent Chapman pictures of the work that was in question and sure enough, they’ll be sending someone to fix it. I will never use anyone other than Carters for my plumbing needs and am thankful for their customer service. Needless to say, I’m a raving fan of Branden and Brandon.

They were GREAT! Very informative, and extremely knowledgeable. They explained everything they were doing step-by-step, and were patient with my lack of knowledge. They clearly explained all charges, and parts. Once the work was completed, you could not tell they were there! Absolutely would recommend any time!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! While attending to a foundation issue, we discovered a break in the sewer line. Speed and availability were crucial as the excavation was underway and I had a big hole next to my house. So the line problem needed to be fixed and fixed fast so the other job could be finished as well. l was in danger of getting stuck with a big hole for a number of days and dying shrubbery that had been temporarily displaced.. I sent out the Bat-Signal and reflexively initially called upon some the big plumbing names; long long delays were quoted. Mike, at Service 1 Plumbing, personally answered my phone call. He immediately fit me in to take a look. (I think he was here within about a half-hour, on his way to another job). He diagnosed the problem; identified the cause; came up with a plan; and quoted me a very reasonable rate. He worked cooperatively with the other contractor on site and my sewer-line problem was resolved within a few hours--well ahead of his initial goal of resolving the problem before noon. Mike investigated other potential issues and determined there were no defects down the line. He also pointed out the extra steps he took to make the entire set up more secure than it had been following the original construction. I spoke with him afterwards. Mike has been doing it for 30+ years. He runs a small, professional, local business. He takes pride in his workmanship and service to the community. Obviously he takes ownership of his work product. In the world of contractors, I am always looking to find a guy who I can count on who does X. Mike is now forever more . . . my plumbing guy. You should consider making him yours. (By the way, guy in this case is intended to be a gender neutral term and only refers to a person (man or woman) who I can count on to be fast, fair and to do a good job (mechanic/electrician/HVAC, whatever)--if I had a gender-neutral term that captured the same arm's-length-small-business-owner vibe, I would have used it.) Called late, after hours and there was a real person ready to take my call! Peterman reps also did a great job keeping me updated on when their tech would show. When Sean came and fixed our AC, he was very personable (we briefly talked BBQ) and got our cold air fixed right away. What a relief. Positive experience.

Damaged my floors - Had a water heater with a defunct gas valve. They came to replace it. A few days later I noticed the floor buckled with water damage. Pulled the plank up closest to the water heater and there was standing water under it. Extends to the wall of my laundry room. No damage near the washer so the obvious source is the water heater. Old one not leaking. New one not leaking. Used towels to clean water during install so there was a water issues at that time. They ignored my first call and contact via website. Second call they answered but took no accountability for the damage. Laughed at the suggestion the replace the damaged area. Unprofessional. Unaccountable. Bad hearted person to leave the job like that and leave the homeowner to deal with it.
