We had a horrible smell we thought was coming from our sump pump. He determined that it was actually the back up battery for the sump pump. He flushed the water heater also as a maintenance. Very happy! Thank you for your fast friendly & efficient service!

LD Smith bent their schedule to get my drain unclogged on 2 hrs notice. (Thx Elizabeth) Joe and Phil were total pros. Phil recommended some changes to my internal drain lines that had been reconfigured over the years. I have had several local plumbers who run the other way when they see 90 yr old fixtures. Not Phil. He wasn’t arrogant abt it and he was careful not to promise the moon. But his confidence and willingness to tackle a tough job were super impressive. So I took the opportunity to add 2 more delicate projects involving fixtures original to my home. Honestly I thought there was a 50/50 chance things wld go badly. But both were home runs. Phil and Wes spent pretty much all day working on 4 major projects. Great guys. Professional and fun. LD Smith is now my go-to plumber.

Clean out put in and partial sewer replacement. Company had best estimate out of three. They came out straight away and explained everything in a way I could understand and answered my questions in a way I could understand without being condescending. Technicians were professional.They worked in the time frame allotted and company office communicated when they had to push back due to weather/rain. I had to have them back out for a small leak from a pipe not tightened enough and they were out the next day. Work seems like it was done right.I would hire again. They supposedly emptied my septic tank and not even two months later it is full and overflowing into my pipes, I tried to call and find out why they gave me the run-around and eventually said they would come and do it again(for more than they did it for the first time) and then said they would call me back to schedule a appointment and I have not heard from them since

We hired Hamm & Sons to help out with a commercial remodel here in Lawrence. Yesterday was their first day on the project and I will say the guys showed up on time and were very professional and knowledgeable. I have done business with them on plumbing and heating for 20 years. I just bought a new central heating and ac system from them. There were some issues that arose after the install. I told them on friday and on monday they had a crew in to resolve the issues. The second crew did a fine job fixing the problems. Never a moments resistance from their management on fixing the problems. They do good work, are responsive to emergencies and are as reasonably priced as any one in this business is.
