He listened to my questions and concerns and was sure to provide me with multiple options for replacing my broken water heater.

My kitchen sink was completely clogged and I had tried everything I could to fix it myself. I called Benjamin Franklin today (Saturday) and I had an extremely nice gentleman show up to my house within a few hours. Love love loved Donny! Very professional and kind. Donny did an amazing job and was respectful about cleaning up after the job was done! My drain is night and day and am very pleased. I will be using Benjamin Franklin again. Thank you Donny!!

The problem was that our powder room toilet was dripping into the basement. Adam identified the problem immediately as an incorrect sealing used to set the toilet. He corrected the problem using the correct sealing and the problem was solved.

Found my old water heater leaking onto the garage floor around 9am, they had a new one fully installed by the time I finished lunch. David and Jerel were very professional and efficient. Very much appreciated, highly recommend!

Will never use them again. Paid $300 to clear a frozen kitchen sink pipe. Appreciate they got it cleared and the technician was nice. However the dishwasher did not work after and they told me this is a separate service and I would be charged another $300. I will not be roto-rooted again

I would recommend getting a price quote before they get to your house. They did a nice job, but I over paid by 35% ($800) over another major plumbing outfit. I know this because I price checked them later. Don’t make the same mistake I did. They definitely took advantage of the situation and charged me a premium.

They were subcontracted by another vender to complete a small job in our home. I got a good vibe from them, they’ll be my first call for a quote on our next project/issue (I’ll update the review). My HOPE ? is that they’re better than other expensive companies who have major name brand recognition but don’t actually care about the customer.

WE HAD A MAJOR PROBLEM WITH OUR A/C UNIT AND RICK AND MATT WORKED ON OUR SYSTEM FOR OVER 4 HOURS. THEY WERE DILIGENT ABOUT GETTING IT TO WHERE IT NEEDED TO BE. I AM VERY PLEASED WITH ALL OF THE REPAIRS THAT SUMMERS HAS PROVIDED FOR US. WHEN SOMETHING GOES WRONG I ONLY HAVE TO MAKE ONE PHONE CALL !

Mike came out extremely quickly to help us with our sump pump. We had 2” of standing water and couldn’t wait till tomorrow like another service quoted. He showed us the issue, replaced the old broken pump and got the water moving out. He also showed me how yo work my water softener while he was there. Thanks Mike.

Overpriced, Unprepared, Bad Service, and Threatening

Before you think I am a hothead, read this: I called Gordon hoping for a more personal touch and maybe a less expensive bill than a larger brand company. Had a busted garbage disposal and a leak under the kitchen sink. I told the receptionist what I needed and asked about getting my own garbage disposal and having their plumber install it. She said , “You can do that but you’ll be charged $100 for the installation. I assumed that letting them install their own disposal unit might include a lower labor cost but did not ask. I did ask if their plumber would have a garbage disposal with him and was told, yes, he would.

Our plumber arrived. He checked under the sink and said he couldn’t find a leak, but there was an open pipe connection with dried material around the opening suggesting it was the source. He could not tell where the pipe came from given som extra lines from an old ice machine (not working or turned on). I asked him to plug the opening. He said he couldn’t because he didn’t have the right materials! He told me it was easy and I could just go to Lowe’s and do it myself. (Um, that’s why I called you.) So I asked him to replace the disposal. He told me he did NOT have one on the truck and had to go to a store and buy it. He returns with an expensive unit plus mark up, installs it, and shows me a bill for about $530 explaining that he had bought the brand that matched the broken unit and then billed me for the time he went shopping. That’s over 2 hours for labor and a bill of $530 for a garbage disposal! (Checking the leak took less than 10 minutes.) So I asked him to call his supervisor. He called and they did cut the bill but only around $75 and only after extended haggling. While on the phone, he makes this comment to his supervisor so I can hear him, “I’m not sure I’m gonna take any more of this”....as if he was thinking about getting physical. Like I had no right to challenge an outrageous bill. Don’t get me wrong I was not happy, but I was not threatening in any way. They got my money. I wouldn’t give him yours.

I had a guy named william from this company come out. He did awesome! He was only there for about 5 minutes. I couldn’t seem to get my water to turn on. He came in and worked his magic and boom water! Lol He was great at explaining everything to me if i have any other issues i will definitely be using this company again! Thank you!
