The company was able to get out the next day when others had no openings for days or weeks! Communication on visit time was spot on and they were able to install the new unit immediately. The guys were very friendly and explanations very clear.

I needed my main drain unclogged. When scheduling I informed them that we have already had someone out that used a 100ft auger and that did not work nor fixed the issue. What do they do. They come out use a 100ft auger (which isn’t going to work) and guess what! It didn’t work. Charged almost $450 and told us we need to call another company. Waste of time and money. When I scheduled, I feel they should’ve told me they were going to do the same thing and I wouldn’t of even went with them. One star because they at least came out quick to do nothing different.

Went through 3 plumbing companies before calling Mr. Rooter - they were all either clueless on how to fix the toilet tank or tried to sell me an whole new toilet - which was not necessary - Aaron from Mr. Rooter had it diagnosed and fixed within an hour. You can't ask for more than that.

My wife and I just bought our home in September and with any old hone there are going to be issues, and plumbing is no different. I called at 10:30 am and asked if someone could be here before 10:00 a.m. tomorrow and they said that someone could be here within the hour. I forget the technician's name but he arrive promptly and was very polite and did well with my 3 year old son. I will definitely use Roto-Rooter again for my next repair (which I hope never happens). Oh, and I forgot to say that it was very affordable. Thank you so much.

I had an absolutely horrible experience with Godby. My experience was so bad that I believe the company is either completely mismanaged or is willfully ripping off customers. Savvy consumers should BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!

The company came out and performed work before informing me of the issue and asking my permission then presented a bill for $500. We paid for it hoping the problem was solved. Soon after the technician left, we discovered the work did not fix the problem. We were then quoted a new price of around $1,500 to fix the problem (that included re-doing the initial work). They admitted their mistake, but refused to rectify it. We moved on to another, more honest vendor. Many months later, they re-billed us for the original $500!

Every company makes mistakes, but how these mistakes are handled is what defines a company. Godby does not care about their customers. Godby represents POOR QUALITY, POOR SERVICE, HIGH COSTS, and DOUBLE BILLING.

Save yourself money and a headache -- AVOID GODBY!
