I had an emergency where after my washer had backed up we couldn’t get the water to drain so the basement had water all over the floor. I was called back earlier than anticipated for a Saturday afternoon and the repair tech came out earlier than expected He was couterous and friendly. He got the job done quite quickly. I was very pleased.

Brian was excellent he installed gas lines and put on shut off valve , I like him a lot better than the other plumber that we just had at our house at 1915 East Maryland we will definitely use your company again! Called for a clogged sewer drain on Sunday. Hamm's drain person showed up in a timely fashion and spent 2 hours cleaning roots out of the sewer drain. Professional, courteous, friendly, and above all very skilled.Fee charged was very reasonable, particularly for Sunday service/

Horrible Experience with Summers at this location. I initially contacted the company after my thermostat failed and I was unable to replace it myself. The initial experience was great; it was after hours, they contacted promptly, advised me of typical costs for after hours vs normal hours, and I was able to get someone out the next day. They fixed the thermostat, realized the furnace was overheating and exchange was potentially damaged. They went through costs for repair vs replacement, informed me of all the risks and typical costs, allowed me time to think about it, and I felt comfortable having them install a new one. This is where things went south for me. One of the main reasons I opted to replace vs repair is that I was starting a new career and would not have any time off availability for about a month. I informed Summers of this several times, and they were very reassuring that they could get a team out to replace it on 12/8/18 with an inspector to make sure all was well and that I would not have to worry about it. I was told it would take a couple hours, which was great as I had a lot to accomplish in a short amount of time. On 12/8/18 on installer shows up to install the entire thing by himself; it takes about 4.5 hours. No inspector was with him, which meant I had to take yet another day to have someone come out. When questioned, Summers response was we don't know why he wasn't there, sorry. On 12/14/18 the inspector came out and found 3 issues with the furnace that were done incorrectly, one of which was causing carbon monoxide to leak back into the home. Summers was resilient to come fix the issue, and after arriving seemed as if it was just a major inconvenience for them. The inspector even mentioned to me that he had had several issues with Summer's and has repeatedly told them not to use improper supplies when installing units, but they insist on doing it anyway. When I addressed this with Summers, the gentleman just rolled his eyes as if safety standards were overrated. Unfortunately on the first trip back to fix the issues, they could only fix 2/3 areas, and said they would send someone to repair it on the following Monday (12/17/18). I was home and available all day, no one called, no one showed up. When I called they would promise a call back to find out why no one would ever show, but I never received a call back. I was then told someone would be out Tuesday, but they sent a plumber instead of an hvac repairman. I was told they would come Wednesday, but again No one called or showed up. Eventually I had to contact the finance company that I financed the furnace through to file a complaint in order to get them to actually fix the issue. The whole experience was just a mess, I feel like Summers just pushes their incompetence off onto the customer and had I not been persistent, would have never finished the job properly.

Sam did a great job of analyzing the problem and explaining that a new water heater was needed. The installation was done just 24 hours later and was done very professionally. Howald is our new favorite plumbing, A/C and heating specialist.

A friendly plumber gave me an estimate on fixing a leak in my crawl space and moving my water cutoff above my floor. Everything was good until the $750 estimate. This estimate was way, way too high. How do I know? After I declined, I went to Lowes and spent $100 on supplies, then fixed it myself in 2 hours. It would have been much less for Roby, as I had to buy tools and 100ft of pipe, when I only needed 4. In other words, if the professional was as slow as I am, they were asking $350/hour.

Plumbers need to figure out that with shark/gator bite connectors, amateurs can do a sufficient job easily. I would have preferred to pay a fair price to have a pro do the work, but I'm not interested in getting ripped off.

After another company claimed parts of my sewer line would need to be replaced due to tree roots clogging it, I called Gurney Bush. They were able to remove over 98% of the tree roots and said the cleaning should last for 5-10 years and found there was not damage to the pipes that would require repairs. They were quick, honest about the problem, and saved me thousands in sewer line replacement costs. Will absolutely do business with them again!

Steve was very prompt, efficient and knowledgeable. He was done repairing my plumbing problem in record time allowing me to get back to work. I would highly recommend his company.

Plumber didn’t have all the right equipment and even said he didn’t know what to do after he put the snake in and it went the wrong way. So they said they would send someone else and no one ever showed up or even gave us a call to say they wouldn’t be able to come back. Wasted our whole day for nothing.

My work is not done, I am owed a water heater, water softener, hook up of the pressure tank. Almost paid in full and most of the work is not done. I question a few things that are done if they are done correctly. No one answers the phone now. Was told they went out of business last week. I called left two messages and now I get a busy single. Any update would be appreciated. I pray they follow through and get it done.
