Have had plumbing, HVAC, and electrical work from these guys routinely for multiple years now. Always one of my first suggestions.

Couldn't get follow-up. It started out well, seemed eager for work but as we moved through trying to refine and finish the quote, communication started to drop. I'd have to call and email multiple times a week to try to get any response, which was usually came late. After several weeks I suggested I'd go somewhere else due to poor responsiveness..... no response to that either. Too bad, seems like it would be a good small business if they could actually get work done.

We called RC Electric and had Ryan come out to give us a quote on running a sub-panel and the electrical rough-in for our basement renovation. He showed up on time, answered all my questions, and was knowledgeable. It wasn't until we got the itemized quote that we were upset. Out of 7 different electricians we received quotes from, RC Electric was by far the highest. They wanted to charge us $10,150 for the same job that I just paid $5,500 for. Even the second highest estimate was only $7,500. So why was I being charged so much more you ask? Answer: Marked up parts and almost double labor costs. A simple example was the cost of the 100-Amp sub-panel. RC Electric wanted to charge me $879 just for the sub-panel and that doesn't include the breakers or the cost of running the wire from the main panel to the new sub-panel. The electrician I used only charged $350 for a 100-Amp sub-panel parts and that included the cost of the breakers. As I read further through the rest of the quote, it was the same thing repeated. Price increases on everything. I will never use RC Electric even if they did amazing work. Take some advice from me and always get 5-7 quotes for the same job so you don't get screwed out of your hard earned money.

The owner was prompt on returning calls/emails and very pleasant. Pat and Shane did a great job. They arrived early and worked until the job was done. They problem solved and fixed some issues along the way. Excellent service and I'd use them again and recommend this company!

Indianapolis has a great open shop option for your industrial electrical needs. Do you want what the industry is trying to sell you as an industrial electrical contractor or do you want the real thing? If you want the real thing, then you should call.

Great service! Literally called with a question regarding electric and code and the gentleman was very informative and very helpful!

They came to install a doorbell at my friend's house. She is an elderly widow and they took terrible advantage of her. They overcharged by $1082.00, didn't finish the job and did not even give her an itemized invoice which they are legally obligated to do. She paid because she is elderly. Barth now refuses to refund the difference and won't return phone calls. One salesman, Vic, called her a liar and threatened her with their lawyer, and the front desk secretary hung up on her. A despicable company that I will never use and I will make sure everyone I talk to knows what they've done to this poor old woman. I only gave one star because no stars is not an option.

Return customer and had the company come out to quote me a job, wasted 20 mins of my time and never even bothered to send a quote or follow up.

The company put up a ceiling fan, changed out a dining room light fixture and put some dimmer switches in. Tony was very professional and the chandelier was quite a nightmare. I wanted it moved about a half of a foot and tony did a great job getting this accomplished. With as little damage on the ceiling as could have been done, he worked hard to get everything the way we wanted. I would highly recommend AGS as the head of the company stayed as long as it took to get it the way we wanted it. He is also a super nice guy and we enjoyed having him in our home.
