Connor Knopp was our service tech who came out and replaced our old water heater that was 17 years old. He replaced the water heater and was very professional in the installation. He cleaned up everything and made sure everything was clean. I would recommend Hope plumbing and Connor to do my plumbing job.

He couldn't do the work needed so he had to send the person that actually does the digging and appraiser out tomorrow. I've went without water for last 5 days gotta wait longer . The worst part is my service dog doing without and having to get water from my daughter and not being able to get a bath and not able to wash my cloths. Then borrow 5 gal to flush toilet no cooking without water not good either, no one realizes how much you depend on water till your water pipe busts.

Great service, quick and professional

Joe McElfresh (and another co-worker Joe) did a great job fixing a bathroom sink that had been slow draining for months. I’d called a different plumber that said “sure, we’ll be there Friday” what time Friday? “Friday.” My time slot got pushed all day and then they called to try to reschedule for the following Tuesday. No thanks. L.D. Smith was recommended by a neighbor, I received a two hour window for my appointment and Joe arrived at the very beginning of my time frame. My job was more involved than the drain snaking I was hoping for but I was kept in the loop on developments and options throughout. I was then quoted what I felt was a fair price and given a project time frame, both were spot on. They took good care to lay down rugs and tarps to protect flooring and cleaned everything up nicely at the end. I’m so.happy my neighbors recommended L.D. Smith and I’ll be sure to do the same. Did an amazing and quick job replacing my hot water heater. Friendly, reasonable, just overall great experience. He also repaired a leak on the main water line for free that another company quoted 2000 to repair. Very honest service, I highly recommend him to anyone having plumbing issues.

Bob came to my house in the early evening, which is very convenient. We smelled gas in a room with a gas fireplace. He looked at the fireplace and also the gas line in my utility room. He recommended I have the gas company come out and test our appliances, since they will do it for free. He had a lot of advice and was very knowledgeable. We didn't need any service, but if we do in the future, I'll definitely call him again!

We had a pipe burst and contacted them later in the evening - they offered to come out that night, but we chose to wait and have come the next day. They were able to fix our problem within a few hours and at a price much lower than we expected. They were super friendly, professional, and we really feel like we can trust the quality of the work done. Thank you!!

I have had nothing but great service from Roby's at VERY reasonable prices. It goes all the way to the 1980s. Back then we had a busted water pipe and the guy went into my attic and used a ladder to get down behind the wall and the fireplace and he fixed it. The easy way for him would have been to tear up the wall, but he didn't want me to have to pay to have the wall repaired. Recently, I had Roby's come out and install a roman tub faucet and a shower faucet. I believe the plumber's name was Rick and he was very efficient and everything works great. I would not hesitate to call Roby's again.

In May of 2014, we installed a 2.5 ton Goodman air conditioning unit. The price was $1,600. We began having issues in August of 2017 with the unit. They changed the compressor twice, the inner coils, and added refrigerant a couple times. As they began guessing on the diagnosis of the problem with our unit and replaced our inner coils for $850. This was the last effort by McNeely to figure out why the unit kept failing. Eventually the bill ballooned to approximately $2,000 for a problem that started out with our compressor failing. The unit has now had three different compressors, a new fan, and electrical components. Once we challenged the bill, McNeely put a lean on our house. Once we obtained legal counsel, we agreed to a set payment and to part ways. Anyone in their right mind would have never agreed to spend $2,000 on a unit we purchased for $1,600. We could have simply replaced the unit for that. As of August 2018, we now have our 4th compressor failing. I change the filter every three months and ensure regular maintenance is completed on the unit. Proceed with caution!
