Best Remodel Repair in Phoenix AZ

Remodeling is such a daunting concept...until you meet the guys at Phoenix Home Remodeling. From the initial conversation, we were made to feel that our vision didn’t seem too far fetched after all! We gave them a long wish list and they took the time to provide the quote for each item allowing us to proritize. The quote left no room for big surprises. They were always accessible which is very helpful to anxious homeowners! What was even more impressive was how neat they left the work area each day. One of the many indications they really care about each home they touch. Thank you, Jeremy, Ben and Mark (in no particular order ?) and to your crew for everything! We are so happy with the care you gave our home and for the many extras you did just because.

I want to caveat this one-star review by saying I am still hoping that Holzman does the right thing and returns our full deposit. When that happens I will gladly increase this rating.

There are a lot of good things about Holtzman and my wife and my experience with them started out very well. We chose Holtzman to remodel our bathroom due to the positive reviews they received on Yelp and Google. We received excellent service from our superintendent and, after choosing a layout and materials, we submitted our deposit so that work could get started. A tentative start date was set about two months out and we were told we’d be contacted soon with more info on the timeframe. A week went by. Then two. Then three. I emailed our superintendent multiple times with no response. I finally tracked down his cell number only to learn that he had quit the company and been told not to contact any of the people he’d been working with. We were concerned about the lack of communication at this point but decided to keep going. Our old superintendent gave us the contact info for someone at Holtzman who would reschedule us and get us a new superintendent. We were rescheduled but we wanted to ask our new superintendent about some details. So we were given his information and we emailed him. No reply. So we called him. No reply. After a month we had not had any communication with this superintendent. Then Holtzman randomly had someone come over to measure for the cabinets, though this had already been done and the guy who was doing it said that “this isn’t really my job”. Finally, we had someone knock on our door at 7am unscheduled and unannounced saying he was there to do the framing. We were all very confused as we still hadn’t spoken to the superintendent and no work had been scheduled. At this point, we lost confidence in the process. We had been left in the dark after the superintendent we liked left. The new one assigned to us was completely non-communicative. And now we had random trades coming over for no reason.

I told Holtzman that we did not want to proceed with them and would like our deposit back. They responded by saying they were going to keep $2,000 of it for salaries and work that had been completed. This confused me to say the least, since all they had done since we put the deposit down was ghost us and send random people to our house. We asked for a breakout of these expenses, which they never provided.

We had every intention of proceeding with Holtzman until the process broke down. We have not received $2,000 of value. No work was done. To the contrary, it has caused considerable wasted time and worry.

I respectfully ask Holtzman to refund our whole deposit so that I can update this review to confirm that you are a fair company who cares about customer satisfaction. Thank you.

Buyer beware. I almost did a remodel through this company and I'm so glad I didn't. Steve came to our house for an estimate on a bathroom remodel. The estimate was for $20,000. He charged about 20% more than other quotes we received. But I liked Steve so we went with him. The company then goes through a design phase which no joke takes about 2.5 months. The entire design phase they give us no quote. At the end of the design phase they quoted us at $65,000 for a very simple bathroom upgrade. Small bathroom, nothing fancy. We weren't moving walls. We weren't moving the tub, shower or sinks. No way it could be more than $25,000. They could not break out the price for us one bit. No price for the tile, no price for the sinks, nothing. They got mad when we asked them to break out the price. Seemed very very very fishy to me. When I called them out for being fishy, they left and we never heard from them again. We still gave them $1,000 for the design. I feel like this company could be running some kind of construction scam. I just don't trust them. Go with someone that you can get a bunch of positive referrals from.

I hired PJ Hussey to completely remodel my condo, including the kitchen, two bathrooms, flooring, light fixtures etc. From start to finish it was a good experience. All of their employees that I came into contact with were pleasant and helpful, especially Frank and Kevin. Everybody was very patient in answering my many questions and working around my timeline. The project manager, Kevin, was a pleasure to work with. He was very proactive in keeping me informed about the project and was very responsive to any concerns I had. His communication really reduced my stress level during the project. The remodel turned out great and I would definitely use them again.

North Phoenix Kitchen & Bathroom Remodeling Team was beyond amazing, they helped us install some pretty tricky pieces successfully, they also painted and smoothed a wall. Great services.

I just had my bathroom redone. Santiago and Pablo were fantastic. They were very professional, knowledgeable, friendly and really wanted to do a GREAT job. I was impressed with their work ethics. They kept me updated on the progress. I have 2 small dogs and they were great with them too. I would highly recommend them for anything you needed done. Thank you guys for doing a GREAT job. After Ben did a fantastic job remodeling our daughter's kitchen, we hired him to remodel our kitchen and great room. This project involved removing a fireplace as well as some walls, and replacing floor tile throughout. Ben was easy to work with and highly dependable. He coordinated with our kitchen designer and communicated with us every step of the way. We were very pleased with Ben and hope to hire him again in the future.

This company is impressive, and the quality of work is second to none. We had Tyson out to our house for a kitchen remodel not only did it Turn out amazing but the job from start to finish was so pleasant and tactful that it was over before I knew it. I am going to be a lifelong customer.

Luxury Remodels has just completed the remodel of 2 bathrooms and before that our kitchen and we're very pleased with the results. Roxie did a tremendous job of providing designs and project managers Steve (baths) and Dave (kitchen) were very professional and communicative during the process.

I had my tub/shower removed and a large shower installed. It was an unbelievable transformation. My wife was extremely satisfied from the tile floor pan, walls, glass doors, rain shower head, and extras. Can’t say enough of the process from the initial contact at a trade show, no pressure sales pitch, options available, price was amazing, time to install, and most important the crews were professional, personable, and clean. Everyday they left the area spotless. Any issue that arose was immediately addressed and resolved. I would never look anywhere else!

Best Company we hired by far/ Highly competent and professional company were have ever hired. Mike provided constant oversight and communicated project status on a regular basic. We like the fact that this was a family owned business. The owners are so professional. We received calls from Judy asking how are project was going and always made sure we were happy. If there were any issues or if she could help with anything along the way. Their employees are top notch. Each one of them took care of our home like it was there own. clean and professional in every way. The workmanship and quality you wont find better any were. Horrible experience with this company! Actually they do mot deserve any kind of star! The secretary lady seemed to be very nice so i trusted they were a good company until i met the main boss contractor Tim! He is very rude and definately has an Anger problem & should never be a part of a business if you do mot know how to be professional about it! I had them do a releveling service for me on my double wide trlr but come to find out i was told they could not do it due how bad it measurements were from one end to the other so they could not relevel it so was told to just get my refund and find someone else to do the job so thats what i went to the office for on monday but instead got a rude awakening from how theyre real true colors are and was even threatened to be picked up and thrown out of there! Very unprofessional and a rip off business so highly do not reccommend this place!! All i can say is Karma's got my back!

Power Home Remodeling was a great company to work with. They were very informative when decided which company to choose. Their lifetime warranty on their products won us over. Their employees were so helpful and professional during installation. They paid attention to all the little details and made sure everything looked the way we wanted it to.Would highly recommend them to anyone looking to get work done on the outside of their home.

Matt and Manny replaced my bath/shower combo and installed a modern walk-in shower. They were on time, professional and courteous. Matt explained the process every step of the way. They did an awesome job! I would use Jacuzzi & Bath again and would request Matt and Manny, if possible, because they did a great job!!
