Five 40 was hired to complete a 500 sq. ft. addition to the house. The addition included the construction of an entirely new bathroom. They were also completely remodeling the master suite. The staff was courteous and professional during the process.
We did have a few hiccups during the process, mostly due to supplier's inability to deliver components on time. Five40 was excellent in communicating the delays and working around them to the best of their ability.

In short, I'd recommend Shannon and the gang for any remodeling needs.

Great company to work for with an owner who genuinely cares about both his customers and team members, and a team that works well with each other and efficiently. Have been with the company a few months and from what I have seen I would definitely recommend Five40 to anyone looking to remodel their home or business.

As before we had another great experience with 540. They did a great professional job on our living room remodel. They listen to you. Not like some contractors in this valley that basically force you into somthing you dont like or want when they are in the middle of the remodeling. From invoice to construction to punchlist, they are very stand up. We had a butcher block countertop installed on our cabinets. Beautiful work and blending. We used them on the exterior of our house and they did an awesome job on it. There was a crazy amount of detail on the design and they nailed that as well. We will always recomend 540!

Five40 Remodeling is an amazing company to work for and also an amazing company that gets work done. As an employee I have seen many happy faces from customers once they see a well executed project complete. Five40 takes pride in respecting it's customers and their living space, so we work hard to keep our jobsites clean throughout the entire project.

Shannon and his team exceeded our expectations. We were told 8-10 weeks and they are finishing the job tomorrow which will be 8 weeks from starting. We had most of the house remodeled and throughout the work the job site has been kept neat and clean enough for us to live in the house during the whole renovation. Shannon and all of his employees have been responsive to requests, clear in their communication and have shown up when they said they would. Renovations are expensive and stressful so having a reliable contractor is an enormous relief. I would highly recommend Five40 Remodeling.

I have been an employee of Five40 Remodeling since 2018. The whole team has been fantastic from Shannon, the owner, all the way down to the labor crew. At the beginning, one of the things that impressed me most is the importance Five40 Remodeling places on respecting our clients' homes and lifestyles. We take care to minimize our impact on unaffected areas of the home and the tradespeople on the job are polite, knowledgeable and professional.
I have been remodeling professionally since 2000 and would trust them with any improvement to my own house.

We had a really good experience with Five40. I didn't have to worry too much about coordination, which is always my fear with house projects. The pricing was straightforward, the work was great and they addressed every concern I brought up throughout the process.

Our project was somewhat unique: filling in a sunken part of my floor, installing a new door and navigating the city permit process for that and a new window.

We're hoping to work with them again when we're ready to remodel our kitchen.

We have had Shannon and the crew from Five40 do our Kitchen/family room remodel (‘17), guest bath (‘19), and master bath/closet (‘20). Each job was a complete gut and rebuild and required electrical, plumbing, framing, etc. the result of all 3 jobs was phenomenal. We could not have been happier, and we demonstrated that by contracting him for the two bathrooms after we did our kitchen. His quotes were competitive and the only significant change orders were because of design or material changes that we made midstream.

The the best thing about working with Shannon was that he didn’t come into our jobs with opinions about what we should do. Rather he listened to what we wanted and was always enthusiastic about the vision we had and did his best to make them happen.

If we need contracting work again in the future we will definitely us Five40 and enthusiastically recommend them.

We interviewed three different contractors when we decided to remodel our Scottsdale home, but Shannon Terembes and Five40 Remodeling stood out as the clear winner for a number of reasons. To start, we knew that his company had completed many remodels, and would therefore have the knowledge and experience to give remodeling advice. We also felt that they had probably already come across any problems that might arise with our project, and therefore, would know how to successfully deal with them. In addition, Shannon informed us that when they start a project, they work through to completion without jumping around to other projects. This was a huge selling point for us, as we had never experienced a contractor that had worked this way – with most juggling multiple projects at the same time and not showing up for days at a time due to being on another job site.

The entire project was well orchestrated from quote to completion and the work was of superior quality and craftsmanship. The crew did what they said they were going to do, including showing up at our house on time each day and focusing on what they had told us would be happening that day. Nearly a year and a half after the completion of our remodel, we came across a concern with one of our cabinets and notified Shannon, who responded that very day and had scheduled a repair within a week. We couldn’t be happier with our remodel and for selecting Five40 Remodeling.

Remodeling ain’t fun, but 540 makes the process a lot easier from start to finish. Shannon’s experience helped us improve on our original ideas. His crew is great. They are very good at what they do and pleasant to work with. We expected the job to take 3-4 weeks. Thanks to the crew’s efficiency and a solid plan it was completed in 2 1/2 weeks. Don and I wish we could give them more than 5 stars.

I live in an older home so I am constantly having people in to tune up or fix something. I hired Five40 for a attic remodel to provide storage and even on the first day could tell these guys were on another level compared to the previous contractors we had hired. The attention to detail and craftmanship was so amazing that I ended hiring them to do multiple other projects. They are meticulous about cleaning up at the end of the day and left me with absolutely no mess (or dust) to pick up at the end of the project. I felt prices were very fair and estimates were right on every time. The crew was always on time and communication with the crew and Shannon (owner) was continuous to make sure that I was always in the loop on the progress of the projects. I plan on hiring this company in the future for other projects and would absolutely recommend them without hesitation!

Shannon and his crew did a wonderful job on our remodel which included putting in an all new guest bathroom and laying new floor tile in the kitchen and sunroom. All members of his crew were always very professional, very skilled, very considerate and a pleasure to work with. They all worked closely with us to make sure the end product was exactly what we wanted and Shannon was always very responsive to our questions and concerns. As other reviewers have said, he exceeded our expectations. We couldn't have been happier with how the projects turned out and Shannon will be our go to guy for any future home improvements.

In December I scheduled a visit for mid-January for Five40 to come out and give an estimate for a garage remodeling project. I took the day off work to make sure I was available, I received both text and email reminders the day before...and no one showed up. I called to see if I had made a mistake with the date, and my call went to voicemail. Maybe they're out of business?

Edit: Five40 Remodeling - Are you taking on new work, even if the work needs to happen several months out? I don't mind waiting.

Shannon and his Five40 team did a medium-sized TI for us that included new walls, drywall and paint, and an ESD-safe floor. They did a great job, and did it in a very timely manner - in fact, they completed the job ahead of schedule. We are quite pleased with the work, and the professionalism of the team - we would use them again, and definitely recommend!

Five40 Remodeling did a great job adding a new master bathroom and adding a new front porch on the front of our previous house. They were courteous and on time and flexible to design changes. Management was responsive.

I made an appointment with Five40flooring in Tempe AZ for a estimate on replacing my flooring in my home. It was confirmed with them,what day and what time. I waited an hour for someone to call or show up. No one did either. So I cancelled with them and I am not happy with this company so far. I hear they are doing a renovation for a friend of mine. I did warn them of this outcome and hope they in turn warn others of their business practice. Well today 1-15-2021 , i received a message from five40Remodling, to explain about the mix up in emails. When I wrote the comments , I had not yet received any emails, so I think either my snail email was the problem or they did not send it out on time. Either way I do hope that this explains the mishap on both parts. My friend did say she is very happy with their work and is so excited to see the finishing project completed. I am so happy for them. I wish everyone to stay safe.

These guys were great! Very friendly, responsive and QUALITY work! They installed an gigantic LED Mirror for me and upgraded other bathroom lighting. They also turned my ugly boring entryway wall into an amazing board and batten wall... I love it, would re-hire in a HEARTBEAT!

To the man driving the silver truck with the Five40 trailer that has already got 2 other driving complaints - I hope you do business better than you drive!! You just tailgated me from about 2 inches away on the freeway when I was going 75, then you sped past at about 90 MPH! I checked your reviews and there's 2 others saying the same exact thing! Maybe want to take your business off your trailer if that's how you're going to promote it! Calm the heck down!

540 was hired to help complete a difficult project experiencing lack of details in the drawings and time constraints. 540 stepped up and provided enough skilled labor to help us complete the project. I recommend this company.

540 recently did a great job splitting a large living room into two smaller rooms for us. Very quick, paid attention to details, and addressed any issues we had. Highly recommend!

They were awesome love them so much, they remodeled 5 room, and 2 closets, and built us a shed, they did a great job on every thing and getting things done on time and it's so beautiful, I would highly recommend Five40 for any of you remodeling needs and they did a great job on our shed, wonderful people, they started with our kitchen, living room, and bath and we loved everything so much we had them do our dining room and my husband man cave, then had them back to build our shed.

I hope their workmanship isn't as reckless as their driving - I note that I am the second person to complain about the driver in the silver truck. Guy just about clipped me and another car on the 101 access road and then took off at 70 mph - Literally because I had to follow to find the business name.

My opinion is the same as the poor reviews. I will not be in conflict with this man. In the future I'm sorry is acceptable, instead of reacting the way you did. Good luck to you and your business.
