Dreamstyle Remodeling did an excellent job installing our walk-in shower including removing a bathtub, small stall shower and a short wall between them. We chose vinyl panels instead of tile to avoid cleaning grout. The finished shower is attractive and works well. The chief installer did excellent work, including coming back on a Saturday to finish the job.After we had signed the contract, Chris, a consultant, outlined the shower in painter's tape so we could better see the size. Chris suggested we make the pony wall a bit longer, plus some other ideas that improved the final product. We originally contracted to have a glass panel on top of the pony wall to be installed by a subcontractor. We discovered water does not go over the wall plus glass would require cleaning, thus we decided to delete this option. Dreamstyle refunded the cost of the glass panel.I would rate the job 4½ stars if I could because of two minor negatives: (1) The supplied shower hooks were just small knobs that would not hold a towel. We bought better hooks and towel rods at a local store that were installed for us. (2) When he patched the ceiling drywall where the old wall was, the installer did not get the texturing right to match the rest of the ceiling. (He admitted he was not good at texturing.) We had to hire a handyman to sand off the drywall mud and add the texturing. Thus we suggest other customers find someone else for this small part of the job.

He listened to me and created the perfect remodel for my house that truly match the picture I had in my head. When construction started we had a few issues with the project manager and it felt as though the project would never get done. Then Will Stubblefield took over as project manager and saved the day. He was wonderful, open, and worked hard to meet every deadline he gave us. His expectations for the project exceeded my expectations. I now have a wonderful newly remodeled house that I love.

My husband and I hired Ben from Champion Remodel. Ben and his team gave us the quality we were hoping for. We are very pleased with the results. We hired him to re-do our kitchen, 2 bathrooms and all the flooring throughout the entire first floor. All of the finishes were purchased by us and Ben put the whole job together! Chris and his installers are great! They did my cabinetry for my new custom home and it turned out wonderfully! We did have an initial set back. The wrong color was ordered for a few cabinets. A easy enough mistake, with blame in multiple places. It happens. You learn a lot about someone based on how they respond to a mistake. Chris took ownership, quickly dealt with the issue and kept us on schedule purely on his effort. I can't speak any higher for that level of professionalism. It is an extremely rare trait in the construction industry. There is a reason my GC has used Chris for 25+ years.

Serranos was the best priced countertop installers in town. We priced several other local shops and Serranos was by far the best. Installation was very good and we are very pleased with the results! We would definitely recommend them.

I contracted with Maxum to be the General Contractor for a total remodel of our recently purchased 2,750 sq. ft. home. A 75 day project is currently at 112 days. The end date is at least another 20 days away.
Every week there is a change in supervisors, laborers and sub-contractors. There is absolutely zero consistency in project progress. My wife and I have often acted as GC with workers looking towards us to provide direction.
As cheap as possible seems to be Maxum's mission statement. This has resulted in delays, redos and very intense disagreements as to how to move forward. Maxum has caused extreme anxiety for my wife and I along with unexpected costs for temporary relocation and for day to day living expenses.
The remodel results so far look very nice but only because of our very active role as designers and quality control managers.
This job did not need to be this painful. Maxum provided no concern for our input, promises made or common sense direction. We believe that our job was Maxum's first project based upon their total mismanagement of planning, product procurement, customer relations and day to day supervision and direction of employees and subcontractors.
If I were to start fresh, the contract would be much more specific related to project details and materials. I would also have included penalties for missed progress dates.
