Best Custom Wood in Phoenix AZ

They replaced my old crank out casement windows, 11 of them, with double paned, vinyl framed, gas filled windows & my bills to heat & cool my home dropped dramatically!! They also increased the value of my home. Next will be my doors & Desert King Windows will get my business. The windows took 1 & 1/2 days. The workmen were great. They cleaned up everything. I would recommend Desert King Windows to everyone!!

We got several estimates for replacement windows. They were one of the best products at the best price, and no pressure on the sales because they know it. The cost didn't change at all during the process (other than my upgrading to a thicker window at small additional charge... but no pressure on that either), the install was done when originally scheduled, they were all very polite and neat. There was no cutting into the stucco, they worked around our plantation shutters without even having to remove them, and left the place spotless. I can already tell the difference in how well these windows reduce noise versus our old windows.

Sunny State Glass was the best decision we have made. We needed to replace three large windows in the front of our house. They were by far the most reasonably priced. They were very straightforward and no bs upselling. The windows look amazing. I’m not going through anyone else for windows ever.

100% recommend this company. Greg is very professional, knowledgeable and personable. He explained everything from top to bottom and answered all our questions (and we had many). He came out TWO more times to answer our additional questions. We originally only needed an estimate for one window but ended up replacing all of the windows in our home. We interviewed four other companies and we were not impressed with the professionalism we received as they really didn’t want to fuss with one window. We even talked with the other company that sells and installs Infinity from Marvin. I had to ask the sales guy to leave as he wasn’t transparent with his pricing. If you are looking for a professional, honest company this is it!

I recently purchased my first vacation home in Scottsdale that needed a little TLC and being brand new to the area and out-of-state, I was nervous and stressed having to shop around locally to find out how to update about a dozen windows and sliding doors since it is easy to be taken advantage of when you clearly don't know anything. After calling around to get some quotes and advice since I know nothing about windows and glass, the reps at Freelite were the only ones that were genuine and patient with me by being willing to help me through my dumb questions and even go out of their way to educate me based on what would work best for my specific home and style, all while actually giving me the most competitive price around! I worked with Tony who I couldn't recommend enough. It's clear he takes pride in his work and provides a great service making sure you are 110% happy. We had about 10 windows replaced and 2 sliding glass doors and they were able to complete it faster than expected and with great communication and coordination, and no surprise hidden costs or any bs at the end. Very stress free experience unlike some of the other local contractors and businesses I have been working with to rehab my new home. Thank you again so much Freelite for making this so easy, I've never appreciated glass and windows so much!

The whole crew was personable and friendly and everyone has been so far. They called to come early and did a pretty good job on the clean up! Robert especially went out of his way to make me comfortable with the team in my home. Nice to be around people with great attitudes! High five to all of them!

The customer service at this place is appalling. I had one broken Anderson window that I needed replaced. The guy who was supposed to come out to measure (Britt) never showed. When I called, he acted as if he didn't know who I was or that we had even had a conversation. He basically played dumb instead of owning up to the fact he made a mistake. We shared some words and he told me to get my window someplace else. The landscapers (they were paying for the window) called Lasting Impressions and Britt basically hung up on her. She (the person from the landscape company) filed a complaint with the BBB. Needless to say we got our window from R&K Building Supplies in Gilbert. The service was 1000% better.

The installers were top notch pros. And the folding door is amazing too!

Woodpeckers did major damage to our mahogany front doors...Dov came up with a solution that allowed the doors to be restored to their origional condition. He is truly a craftsman. We are thrilled with his work.

Imperial Windows & Sunscreens is a great company! I had them replace all the windows and a sliding patio door in my house. The owner (John) came out and gave me the estimate.......he is very knowledgeable and recommends the best options for your house. His installer (Jose) is top-notch and I couldn't be more pleased with the quality of the product & installation. I highly recommend them!

Affordable Windows is not only affordable but gives excellent service from the moment I made the call to have them come out for my free estimate up until the minuet the installers left. The office staff were very knowledgeable and installers cleaned up throughly when finished. It was like they were never there but I now had a beautiful new window. I would recommend to any of my close friends and family. My house already feels cooler!

I contacted Sun Devil Shutters on the first week of January. Recently purchased a home and wanted something nice. I had already received 3 other quotes going from $9,000 to $12,000+. I met a middle aged man named Doug, he seemed like a really nice guy and unlike some of the others who came before him he actually measured every window to be safe. We told him what we were looking for so he pulled out a calculator figured the price to be $6400+ for 22-24 windows. Before I could say anything he asked if I wanted to pay taxes, which I responded lowest possible price is always appreciated. He than rounded down the purchase to $6,000 even for real wood shutters. At this point I'm talking it over with my significant other and before I could say yes he also threw in plastic blinds until the shutters were installed. We agreed on $6,000 for all windows except the bathrooms.

After I had signed he told me he would need a piece of my cabinets to match the color and when he came back for that he would bring the plastic blinds. No problem, we asked our builders for something and a few days later Doug came with enough window coverings to get two windows....keep in mind he originally offered full house but we thought for the price we couldn't complain.

Month goes by and we were excited about our shutters so we told a family friend who also just purchased a home that they should look into Sun Devil Shutters like we did. That's when our opinion of them got a little more worried. We texted and called Doug who responded as if we were annoying him in which we thought we were helping. He told us to just call the office. Okay no big deal, he must not be commission based. We called left a voice mail for the office and waited for our shutters.

Install day we get two very nice but very young, potentially under the age of 18 young, hispanic workers come to our home who do a install that leaves to be desired. There were small scratches and dings in the wood but also the paint seemed wet still though also very dirty. We waited for them to leave and even after them cleaning the shutters, once we had asked, we still noticed very dirty shutters. The worst part though is there was three shutters missing. When we brought this up to the installers they told us they would tell the office and they would call us to take care of it. They apologized and assured me they would most likely give a discount for the inconvenience. We still feel like we got a deal at this point and said we aren't looking for that just to make it right and we look forward to that call. Its almost 5pm now and still no call so we call. Inform them of the issues and they assure us they will make it right.

A week or so goes by and we get a phone call saying the guys will be out there to install the missing three shutters and the balance is $127. We informed them we have already paid and they said that unfortunately no Doug didn't right on the paper those three shutters and they will only honor the paper. We of course disagree to which they inform us that we are not just going to get free shutters sir! *Rude Tone* I explain if I paid $6,000 how in the world is it free? They stick to their guns and tell us to take it or leave it. Well we already had 20+ windows with these shutters so not a whole lot of choice so we say fine. They tell us two weeks which they will put a rush order on.

RAN OUT OF CHARACTERS SO TO WRAP UP: They came with broken ones, left them there, came two weeks later to pick them up to start working on them. All the while we are getting one excuse over another and us explaining the charge should be voided. At the end of April, finally installed new ones and gave us a $27 discount for the inconvenience. That's less than 0.005% Off. Simply they will tell you anything to sell you. ANYTHING!

Sent in an information form to Anderson and received a call right back. Seems Good...Think not. Customer Service Rep was going to send me an catalog via email and have someone call me for an in home appointment. Neither happened so I called Pella and am moving in that direction. Guess they have more business then they need.

Paid for windows but they won’t install. Business has gone under and fighting in court right now.
