Mike and Joe were on-time, professional, and thorough in their evaluation of our electrical needs, and they also offered helpful advice on future work that we could complete ourselves, and without their service. I was very pleased with the quality of their work and would definitely call on American Electrical Contracting again should the need arise.

Our water heater failed. David Gray company came to our house and fixed it for a reasonable price. Corey and apprentice were both extremely nice, very competent, very professional. Will use them for all our electrical and plumbing problems, and will request these two people for any problems. They are really smart and very well educated in this work.

I called to inquire about some minor electrical repairs for my rental property. I provided them with my contact and billing info. We agreed payment could be made by check on the day of service. 2 hours later they called me and said they need the address of my personal residence so that they can come after me if the check bounces. I’m a landlord and use a PO Box for my business. I gave them the PO Box address and contact information. I explained to them that my personal residence is confidential. Then they declined the job. I’ve been a landlord for 12 years and, until now, never had a contractor pre-judge and treat me like a thief. I will gladly take my money elsewhere.

As per my prior contact with Mike, he was very helpful and professional. I would utilize this company again.

Thank you for wasting our time, and making sure I shift my busy schedule to adapt to your terrible customer service, just to find out your technician “forgot his ladder”. THEN, when given the opportunity to RIGHT your WRONG, You say you will only do it if we pay after hour fees? No thanks, we will just use a BETTER electrical company that deserves local business. I’d suggest a better business model when trying to fix your mess ups. And next time you are coming to hang something from a ceiling, make sure your tech doesn’t forget his ladder, (unless he is 14 feet tall)

We needed a kitchen pendant light replaced. We called another electrician we had used in the past and they quoted over $700 to do the job. That seemed unreasonably high for what should be a relatively simple job. We called NH and they sent someone out the next day. He removed the old light and installed the new one. The original quote was for about $200 but they ended up needing to replace the dimmer so it wound up being around $300. We are very happy with the work and the price. We will call NH the next time we need an electrician.

The Guys that complete the repairs at 1345 Evergreen Ave were great! They did an awesome and outstanding job

This morning I was driving behind one of their vehicles and their employee decided they were going to order an entire drink out there window all over my car I will never use this company ever

I looked out the window and saw a guy with a backpack and a guy with a cloth lunch bag. I thought they were homeless, no, they were my electricians. They looked at my panel and said they found the problem and went to get parts to fix it. What they worked on did not resolve my problem. I called and told them this and they sent out two more guys the next day (they looked more professional and had tools with them). turns out, they could not figure out my problem either. So called again and for three days they said they would be back out, however they never came back. I called another company and with a glance, they diagnosed my problem (panel needed to be replaced) and had it fixed in one day. So dealing with Jax Electrical cost me two days of work and they could not figure out what the problem was. You be the judge as to whether you would use them or not.

Bill Hinson was prompt and very professional. He went out of his way to make sure every lighting fixture was perfectly aligned to fit my high expectations. I was also impressed how quickly he and Michael installed 5 fixtures within 2 hours. I will definitely be requesting Bill again.

Hired Howard electric to run a power line for a new septic system. Kenny and 2 other guys came out, right on time, and did a great job. Very professional! They explained everything and even fixed a few other minor issues. I would strongly recommend this company!
