This company is AMAZING.They were prompt, reliable, respectful and full of knowledge. We just finished a rather large remodeling of our kitchen, and Dale and Sarah didn't miss a beat. From moving the oven power bower box to the opposite side, to going into the attic, changing and adding outlets throughout, connecting the power to the cooktop, plus amazing lightning... they were EXCELLENT! Efficient and effective. My husband and I were extremely impressed with their performance and cleanliness. Dale H. and Sarah M. should be commended for a job extremely well done.

Travis & Leo performed three different installations/searches for me this afternoon. They were quick and very efficient as well as polite and neat in their work. They installed a hot water remote monitor, installed a hot lead to a ceiling fan so the fan and fan light could be independent and searched for a likely short in the low voltage wiring of my central vacuum system. Excellent work. This company has performed many past jobs from new construction wiring for my shop to whole house electrical back-up and we have been exceptionally pleased in each of the jobs. Well Done, again!.

This whole company has its stuff together from start to finish. Their customer service team seemed very knowledgeable & professional and was able to get me an appointment the following day. Avery & Josh were great guys and very professional. They arrived right on time, as stated, and covered all bases. They were able to outfit my entire home with new security cameras in only a couple of hours and made sure the job was done right. This is our first time having to hire an electrical company. The technicians were professional and we believe the job itself was done well. But its the small things that really make the difference. When they left, I noticed they cut drywall in order to complete the job of pulling the wires through. To my surprise they left it unfinished basically saying, “it isnt our job” yet they cut it to complete their job. How you leave a job site is just as important as how you perform while you are in it. It would have been real simple to repair the drywall that they cut rather than leave it to the consumer who paid a pretty penny for their work. If they were to communicate with us prior to cutting the dry wall perhaps I would have felt better about this. Now I have holes in my wall that I have to fix creating more work for me. A bad word spreads faster than a good word unfortunately. I called management and left them a voicemail and sent an email and their response was we will call you back within 72 hours. Wow, okay I do not recommend this company as their lack of customer service overshadows the work they did. Very disappointment when this could have been avoided.1/21/2023 Quick update, management got a hold of me and repaired the drywall extremely well. Management also followed up ensuring that everything was done properly! Thank you!

My experience on American Electrical has been nothing but the absolute best. Avery and Josh gave my family a courtesy call and arrived on time.they we both very professional men with the best attitudes. They gave me the best advice and worked on a number of jobs. Avery beautifully installed and explained to me the new smart security home system and stayed while I created a log in and made sure it worked.Josh removed and installed a new ceiling fan for my daughters room which is constantly hot. Avery and Matt came out and installed a Tesla wall charger. In spite of a very narrow access along the roof peak, they completely the install promptly and cleanly. The wiring in the box was run properly as was the wire terminations at the charger. Pleasant, professional, tidy.

Avery & Josh replaced 5 lights in our home and rewired a few connections to join the lights to different switches. I received a call about 30 minutes prior to arrival. Last week Avery and Matt replaced a 60 year old panel on a home I’m updating. They were excellent and very good at troubleshooting old wiring and getting everything up to code. They also installed several new light fixtures including ceiling fans and did a fantastic job. It was an expensive and extensive work order and I could not be happier with their skills and professionalism. I’ve been a customer of American Electrical for many years and will continue to use this company for my future needs.

Ryan runs an elite crew at American Electrical. Top notch, professional crew that actually listens to their customers and offers sound recommendations (without selling more work). I've been searching ever so long for a transfer switch solution to run my portable generator in preparation for hurricane season. Unable to acquire generlink and Ez-connect  products due to supply issues. I was recommended a similar and affordable solution. Triston and Daniel were phenomenal in their installation. True professional and great electrician. Was carefully explained in detail how to use the interlock switch. They even took the time to satisfy and curiosity teaching me about electricity and what goes on inside a electrical panel. Awesome!!Highly Recommend!!?

We needed several light fixtures repaired/replaced and needed the large electrical socket behind our stove replaced. I called in the morning, and they sent someone out within an hour. Kyle and Landen gave good service and quality workmanship. This special two man team installed a high up 52 inch ceiling fan that operates by remote control devise. The beautiful fan has multiple variable lighting tones and has six speeds. kyle and Landen also brought electrical power to the inside my of my screen enclosure by installing a ground fault outlet plug. Now my outdoor screen enclosure is ready for dining and entertainment! Craftsmanship rating (10).

We used this company for a whole house generator installation 2 years ago and it was a very big job. Kyle and Landen were very professional in their work. They had some issues with the install but stayed with it until it was done. Replaced a very old main breaker panel with a new 400amp panel and all was working fine when they left, despite having some normal construction style issues.

Travis and Leo did a great job adding additional electric access around the pool for sun shade installation. Punctual and professional, considered all of my location concerns before discussing placement options. Worked carefully around furniture inside. Will definitely use American again.

We recently worked with Brian Moore @American Electrical Contracting on the installation of a 100kW Triton Generator and ATS for the City of Kingsland, GA. Part of our challenge was coordinating installation logistics from our factory in Florida. We needed a company that could get it done right and on time. Brian did a fantastic job keeping us informed throughout the various stages of the project. From the first visit to the jobsite, to meeting our factory tech for the final inspection, start up, and commissioning of our Triton Generator. American Electrical and Brian’s crew did an excellent job and I look forward to working together on future projects.

Kyle & Josh did a fabulous job. We were hit by an Electrical storm and they were out the very next day to get the most important stuff taken care of. We had a few other things on our list that they came back 2 weeks later to finish. Worked out great and I really appreciated how they handled the situation so they could get everyone from the storm up and running as quickly as possible.

We contracted with American Electric for several projects. This ranged from small electrical issues, such as improper wiring or exchanging new lines, to a larger project upgrading the amp service to the house. We worked with Kyle and Chris primarily. I’ll break down our personal review into 3 sectionsPros:- The electricians were professional, responsive, and conscientious. Prior to starting any work, they explained the rates and charges.- They completed their work and took the time to clean up any large mess.- We were satisfied by the quality of their work. The work appeared to be high quality (we’re non-electricians). What this means is not only the finished product installed correctly, but it seemed that they took the time to think about possible solutions and listen to our requests/suggestions before just trying something or digging behind a wall. This resulted several times in an improved solution to a problem in our house.- There was an honest misunderstanding in the contract for one of the projects in terms of what we desired and what was delivered. In this setting, the supervisor, James, took time out to immediately come to our home and discuss with us the misunderstanding. He was professional and honest. The company and James were open and truly listened to our concerns, and then we reached an agreement that was mutually satisfactory. In this day and age, I cannot overstate how valued it is that a company still does this.- The calling center staff were always professional, kind, and courteous.Cons:- We had multiple projects of various sizes and this was also during the pandemic. But to complete the entire list of projects, it took several months and multiple calls/emails.- Due to our jobs, it is sometimes difficult to find time to call during the work day. While they are responsive to emails, at times it would take repeat emails to follow-up on pending issues.Summary:- In summary, this is a company that does stand behind their work and reputation.- They are able to perform electrical projects that are both small and large, including ones that require pulling a permit.- We would definitely utilize them again in the future for any electrical issues.

We had two bad outlets that needed to be repaired. Wayne and Marcio diagnosed the problem quickly and made the repairs within 45 minutes. They were very helpful and answered all my questions. I’d have them come back anytime I need electrical work. In addition, I got same-day service. When I called to schedule an electrician. It was great.

Thanks to Ethan's keen eye and attention he noticed the main stainless steel fuel line into my generator was severely rusted because of its poor placement when installed by the propane company. The steel to copper connector was partially in the ground where water sometimes stand after a hard rain. This would be catastrophic failure has been avoided because of Ethan! Check out the photo to see the old/new fuel lines. The propane company is coming out to reconfigure the connection to prevent reoccurrence.

Couldn’t be happier with American Electrical and the crew that worked on our kitchen: Scott, Wayne, and Marcio. There was a lot of work: replacing cloth wiring, adding outlets, new wiring for an oven and cooktop, and more. They got it done on time and it was still $1k cheaper than a quote I got from elsewhere. Scott, Wayne, and Marcio worked non-stop and were even nice enough to work around my 1 year old’s nap schedule: avoided using power tools when possible so that my son could nap. Great guys.

Avery and Josh came to my son's house to repair a number of annoying electrical issues. They called me when they were on the way...met me there...were courteous and professional...and fixed the problems within an hour!

Been using these guys for several months now on several projects, Ryan LaRoche-Johnson has been fantastic to work with. They just did a complete rewire in a historical property in riverside and took extra care not to create any new holes and just swap everything out where it was. The techs Mahl and Lamonte were fantastic, but all the techs we've had to date have done excellent work. Very happy and plan to continue to use them on all our projects going forward.

I called American electric on a Friday after calling another company, who said they were booked out 2 weeks. When I called American they said they were booked out for more than 2 weeks. I explained that I was concerned (afraid) about my light fixture and after speaking to a supervisor, was told they would send someone on Tuesday. Sure enough, Tuesday came, and so did Daniel and Ricky. They were pleasant, respectful and considerate. We have the original fixtures from the late 1940's. They were able to diagnose the issue, so hopefully, we can retain them.Thank you, American Electric!

I’ve used AEC for multiple projects and used on personal residence.Highly recommend.James - came out twice to ensure job was fully understood and was ultra flexible with my hectic schedule. James quickly noticed I’m a curious fella’ and fully explained the work to occur. He hands down was able to beat estimates from three other companies. Frankly , I don’t even know why I waste my time bothering.Kyle - the lead service tech called me prior to arrival and when I said I’d be late he didn’t freak out or complain , he was totally understanding and beyond friendly. Additionally, huge points for cleaning up. Also, he was able to do a massive job without destroying my drywall. He even screwed back the tiny drywall cut out. Brian and Jesse came to look at a couple of quirky lights and to move some ceiling fans around for us. They called to say they were ahead of schedule and wanted to be sure it was alright if they arrived early. Once here they diagnosed the problems with the lights and repaired them quickly and expertly. Then they set to work on the fans. They were friendly, courteous and respectful of our home. They covered furniture to protect it from falling dust and debris. They even had to move bedroom furniture to get to one of the fans! Once they were finished they returned everything to its original place and cleaned up thoroughly. They even checked us out on the operation of the fans. I can’t say enough good things about these guys. Great price too. I highly recommend them and would definitely use them again!

I had some work done by Bobby M & Mike L and these guys were the absolute BEST!! The level of professionalism that both of them showed and the quality of their work was excellent . They are both hard workers, when we ran into so trouble they acted like to was no big deal and just keep on working and never once complained about the extra work. Just want to give a shout out to Travis and Leo, American Electrical Technicians. I had a problem with a smoke alarm. I had no idea that they should be changed every 10 years. I was the last call of their day, but they were still upbeat, polite, ready to solve my problem. They came with new smoke alarms and installed them in no time. Updating to say Desmond, josh and matt continued the AEC tradition of gret service.George and Will stopped by to look at lights that weren't working. After explaining to me that my dimmer switch was turned off, they then proceeded to add two outlets, a smoke detector, surge protector and rewire my entire a/v system. The work they did was excellent. They cleaned up and returned everything to pristine condition. This is the second time AEC has been out to home home, and I would definitely recommend them again.

The two guys that came out to update our cloth wiring were amazing. They worked nonstop the entire time and were amazing accommodating our two dogs. Extremely disappointed in lack of courtesy to communicate. Staff member came out to my home to draw up an estimate. 4 weeks later, I've now called 4 times to either receive the estimate or even if to just be told they were not interested. The manager refuses to even do that. On one hand I feel fortunate that I did not end up giving them the job, but the inability for them to answer a call or pick up the phone is astounding. There is no way I could recommend them given the lack of professionalism.

On October 27th, American Electrical sent Robert Fonseca to our home to fix a problem with a GFCI outlet that the water softener is plugged into. This problem happens every time we have the house power washed. In the past the technician just replaced the outlet.This is the first time Mr. Fonseca has come to our house. He took the time to find out why it happens when the house is power washed. He checked the wires in the breaker box. He followed wires up into the attic and checked them out.The water softener and all the outside outlets are on the same breaker in the electrical box. He started checking every electrical outlet we have outside. The outside outlets are all covered. Turns out a covered outlet we never use on the opposite side of the house by the pool equipment was the problem. When he removed the outlet, it was corroded and wet inside. He replaced it with a new electrical outlet and sealed it. Then he replaced the old cover.Robert was very pleasant to work with. He was very methodical and thorough. If we have an electrical problem in the future, we will ask for him.We think he did an outstanding job.

We had American Electrical Contracting install a whole house Generac generator. We chose to use them because they offered a complete installation service including the necessary permit and gas line installation. The installation crew did a great job with the actual generator and associated hardware installation. Next the gas line installation was scheduled and completed. Today Randy came to perform the system start and transfer of power check. The final inspection will complete the job. Overall the process went smoothly and the installation looks great.

I called this company twice, and am still waiting to hear back! I called to schedule an estimate for the installation of a whole-house generator. The first time I called, the agent took down my information, and told me that Aaron was the person to talk to. She said that Aaron was downstairs and would probably give me a call back right away. After not receiving a call for nearly 10 days, I decided to call them back. This time, the agent informed me that Aaron or Christine are the best people to discuss whole-house generators. She transferred me to Christine's line, and I had to leave a message on her answering machine. I left a message, and it's been over a week with no response. I guess business must be booming for them that they do not find the need to obtain my business. Regardless, this lack of responsiveness is completely unprofessional.

This is the 1st time we used American Electrical and I’m so glad we called. Tom and Robert are the electricians that came to our home to fix an issue that we were having with an outdoor light. American Electrical surpassed my expectations! Our home was struck by lightning and suffered a multitude of electrical damage. Wesley was quick to identify breaker panel damage and ground wiring in need of repair. Wesley is extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain in detail the damage he found and the reasons for repair! 5 stars. Will be calling them again for all future electrical needs!

Our main circuit breaker for our home went out at about 11pm on a Friday night, it would not reset and we were totally without power. Knowing we were heading into the weekend and it might be difficult to get an electrician here quickly, I started dialing every electrician listed in our area that advertised they were available 24/7. American Electrical Contracting was the ONLY company that answered the phone and got me scheduled immediately...no leaving a message and not being sure if you would ever hear back like the other guys. American Electrical kept me on the line, contacted the on call electrician and had me scheduled for asap. Troy Howell, the on call electrician, called my cell phone a few minutes later and said he was on his way. He arrived in about 30 minutes, replaced the main breaker and checked over a few other items. All power now restored without a lot of wait and worry. The other guys say they are always on call but its really true with American Electrical. Troy was incredibly responsive, professional and friendly. He got everything fixed quickly. Our family appreciates your exceptional service.

Superb service maintaining old generator and installing new larger one. Ethan did an excellent job maintaining the old unit. Aaron provided us with a very competitive quote for the new 22Kw generator and installation followed soon thereafter. Dwayne and his crew got the installation done in one day very expertly. Scott and his team were excellent at all phases of our project. It started as a pretty standard request: My wife wants a hot tub on our newly enclosed patio. Scott communicated his arrival time and arrived on time and ready to work. He identified a problem with our panel, that it wouldn't accommodate the massive size of the hot tub she wanted. Also it was a panel that had a fire issue associated with the brand, Challenger. I researched and found that it made it past the home inspector when we bought our house, and Scott was right. They made an appointment to come back and replace the panel, install the patio fan, and add a few outlets for our outdoor projector.They installed everything and the fit and finish of the workmanship was outstanding. I frankly was ready for a big bill and was surprised when I received the final invoice. Very reasonable considering the amount of work they did. I'd call it a bargain given how well they hid conduit, how well the fan was balanced, and the personality of the install team.I highly recommend American Electric for any project you're considering.-Mike Larsen

American electrical did an install of a tesla wall charger for me.Once everything was set up through the office, i was told to expect American Electrical between 1000-1200. The American Electrical guys showed up at my front door at 1002. Couldnt ask for more.Gig was to install the Tesla Wall Charger to an existing 240v 30 amp line. No need for wiring, messing around with routing wiring, etc,... The guys immediately pulled out thier voltmeter and checked that the circuit was functional. They did the installation and roughly one hour later i had a functioning tesla wall charger. They guys talked me through the next steps of commissioning the device which was straightforward.I liked that what debris that was created was cleaned up without my having to ask.The guys, Noah C and Daniel B were personable and we chatted the whole time they worked. Noah and Daniel were very professional, very efficient and in and out in under an hour.The real bottom line - if i require additional electrical work, American Electrical would be the first call i make.

Robert took the time to explain each step of the troubleshooting they did to determine the root of our problem. Patience and understanding goes a long way in customer service. They will be my “go to” electrician In Jacksonville!

They arw GREAT! I used them for years. Called them to take down three fans and put up three more, fix an outlet messed yp by some painters I hired, tighten up a ceiling light and put ip a ceiling light I've had dor years. We just had a Generac whole house generator installed by American Electrical and Ethan got it online last week. Great installation and communication.This company is great!Today Daniel and Rickey installed a three-way switch, a electrical panel surge protector, a garage overhead light, and a timer for the exterior garage lights in about two hours at a very reasonable cost. The electricians were prompt and pleasant and cleaned up after the job was done.

Caleb, our technician, came out to do the yearly maintenance service on our whole house generator. He was professional and very efficient changing the oil, filters and spark plugs so that the system will be like new for the hurricane system. We really appreciated his attention to detail.

I bought a Generac 22K Generator in Dec. 2020 from American Electrical Contracting, Inc. and it was now due for its first annual maintenance. Randy Miller was the service technician who responded to handle the job. He was polite, professional, knowledgeable and explained everything he was going to do to complete the maintenance on the generator. He also helped me re-connect to the Mobile Link App. on my phone, which had lost the Wi-Fi connection to the generator. Great Service!! Kyle and his assistant were great. I needed to add outlets to 2 of bathrooms that didn't have any and they were very timely, personable and professional. The plugs look and work great. They cleaned up after themselves and didn't leave any mess around. They also were able to figure out why my fridge plug kept throwing the breaker and fixed that as well. They worked diligently to make sure everything was completed in a timely fashion. Love it when you call a company and get an immediate response and same day service! Great job and thank you to Kyle O. and Jesse H. for replacing the light fixtures on the front of my house. The light fixtures have glass panels and heavy (in my opinion) and Kyle and Jessie made sure they were securely attached to and straight on our house. After an initial issue with my first appointment where it was missed and they somehow had my phone number wrong to call me to reschedule, we had American Electrical out the next day and Kyle and Jesse turned it around and did a great job for us. We had a hot tub wiring set up and added a can for lighting above our shower and had a light fixture replaced. Kyle even saved the day when the hot tub was leaking water and he got a look inside and plugged the tube back where it was supposed to be and the problem was solved. Awesome! We've used AEC several times before and they are our go to when we need electrical work. Their work is consistently good and priced fairly. They even give return customers a discount for loyalty as well. Highly recommended.

I would not use any other electrical company. I was floored when they confirmed their appt, called when they were on their way, cleaned up afterwards and sent a mailed receipt. After using many different trades for a home renovation, AEC was my first project and I was hooked ever since. I had the pleasure of meeting Eddie at this first job to bury electrical line and he was amazing! Super friendly, straight forward and honest. I actually have requested him for subsequent work. Update: Yesterday we had two different technicians, Michael Snead and John, come in to replace fans/lights. They also installed a remote for our patio lights. They also did a fantastic job of addressing our tasks. American Electrical will be our go-to electrician from now on.Richard and Ronald did a fantastic job today on every task on our list. They replaced a timer, fixed outdoor lights, replaced 4 indoor light fixtures, and fixed 2 indoor fan/lights. With every task they were considerate of our wants/needs and opinions. They were personable, knowledgeable, and efficient, and costs were very reasonable. I highly recommend this company in general and Richard and Ronald specifically.

This place is awesome. From the very nice and understanding young lady that answered the phone all the way to the end. I havent had ac this year and needed a line run for a mini split system. the person who answered the phone-Melanie maybe?? was very empathetic with my individual and we scheduled for Monday. I was told if they could work me in on Friday, they would and someone would call me...how often do u hear that and then nothing?? Cook & Borrego were great. They showed up on Friday and I was so happy. I didnt get a phone call, email or text but I was over joyed to not have to go the entire weekend and not be able to hook up a portable system I bought until I can get the split system installed next week. The guys were Very professional, didnt waste time-mine or theirs-and cleaned up afterwards. Nice. I know the job is done right and the guys were amazing. Chris and Brock came to install a ceiling fan. They called ahead and gave me notice as I had requested. They arrived when they said they would, and quickly installed my fixture. I asked several questions while they were working, and Chris politely answered each one.They cleaned up after the work and even offered to take the trash away from the new fixture. Set up appointment for a Monday morning simply asked not before 9:15- was told would be not long after that. 11:15 call to see where the tech is as no one has shown up or called. Told there was an emergency service call and would be 2:30 now- zero communication- told them I would wait until 2:30 but needed to be here by then and assured he would be. No call, no show. I get that things come up, but good customer service would be to let the customer know so they can plan accordingly. I rearranged my entire day for this. While we needed an electrician for a specific service, we were really hoping to find a good electrical company to do business with for the long term-

Used American Electrical based on recommendation from a friend for purchase and installation of Generac 22 kw generator. They offered the best price and were very detailed in what service they could offer. Excellent communication concerning scheduling. The crew arrived on time with the generator. Transfer switch and wiring took the better part of a day. During the start up on another day, Jay the technician did an outstanding job of explaining what he was doing as well as answering my questions. My experience annoyed me. I decided to call the office and voice my displeasures. I spoke with Rod, the service manger, he asked me what I wanted to happen. Well the bathroom was already cleaned. My boyfriend said he could fix the drywall. I did feel the price was high so Rod discounted it for me. To be fair, I think next time I will call around for several estimates so I am not so shell shocked by the price.

We recently had issues with our whole house generator. American Electrical was there for us at 7:30 on a Tuesday night to walk me thru and get the generator back in a safe mode. Ethan was great, followed up by phone early the next day, gave me fuses.A day later made t by e service call, fixed generator, set all programs. As in my earlier review, I plan to use this company the next time I need an electrician and would still definitely recommend to a friend.Ryan was professional, competent and personable. He called to let us know he was on his way, arrived when he said he would be here, identified the issue quickly and resolved it effectively. I would recommend this company to a friend and plan to use them again the next time we need electrical repairs and/or services performed.

We've had American Electrical out twice. The first visit, they installed new pot lights, extra outlets, and landscape lighting. They did an absolutely a great job. While finishing the job, the techs said they carry a policy to leave the place cleaner than before they came - and it sure was. Over a year now and landscape lighting still works great. The next visit was this past week to install outlets and an outside disconnect box for a lanai-to-sunroom conversion. The more experienced tech took time to teach the younger tech the ropes. Everything was done cleanly and exceeded our expectations. In both experiences, from the start of the quote to finish, American Electrical is the way to go. They clearly only hire the most professional people. Highest regards, we'll be having them out soon again.

Just hired American Electrical to do an array of electrical work to help us complete our patio renovation. Scott Tuckee was our project manager and he and his team were amazing. My HVAC contractor had just installed a new heat pump and an electric outlet was needed to power the air purifier to complete the installation. We needed an outlet checked out for safety as we heard a loud pop when we turned on the t.v. It's been many years since we needed electrical work but we used to call American Electrical, so I called them for this. In addition, I asked for a quote to install 2 can lights.I told them I was sort of alarmed by the sound from the outlet & was worried it was a fire hazard, so they worked us in mid-afternoon. Keven & Dakota were the guys who showed up. They worked fast to find a simple problem with the outlet, and then told me the can lights would be an easy installation and did I want them to start right then? Well, of course I did! I wasn't expecting to have to wait a week.Kevin was the lead electrician & did a fabulous job cutting into the plaster ceiling of our old San Marco house. He worked meticulously with a tiny tool to cut the opening so as not to crack surrounding plaster. He was also very patient with my 20 questions that I asked as he worked. I like to understand how things are done and he had no problem with that. They worked fast so my final price was not inflated due to wasted time.Both guys were great & I definitely recommend American Electrical.

Had AEC electricians out to see why breakers kept tripping. They were prompt, extremely knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Mark and his team member explained what was happening, how to avoid it in the future and even looked at wiring in the attic done by a previous contractor and assured my wife that all that was done was safe. They troubleshot a light that had been acting up and determined we need to replace the ballast. At no time did they try to upsell or recommend work that did not need to be done. Justin Collins gave us a great & fair price, Veronica handled all of the details from the office, the installation crew did a great job, and Ethan and his crew explained everything and did a great job with the startup. My technicians Daniel Moody and Ricky Baublitz were excellent. They called ahead of arrival and left my home as clean if not cleaner than it was before. They completed a panel change out, including identifying my existing breaker for my ac unit was incorrect from my old panel. They also installed surge protectors and a generator back up. Everything was done very well and all cuts into walls were precise. 12/10. Would highly recommend these two.

UPDATE 5.2.2022: a light fixture I installed myself that came with a cheap plastic twist-in junction box came down in our dining room. I wanted pros to do it right. John and Shannon came out right on time and I'm confident now it's up there to stay. Hiring an electrician is not cheap, so if I'm going to spend the money I want quick, reliable, professional, and courteous help, which is exactly what I got from John and Shannon.I needed a quick installation of a new circuit breaker for my hot water heater. The electrician recommended by HomeAdvisor wasn't able to commit to see me for 48-72 hours. When I called American they told me they'd work me in that day. Daniel M. and Jamal M. showed up right on time, and fixed my issue in less than 30 minutes without even having to turn off the power to the house! I'm very pleased. American Electrical Contracting will be my go-to electrician from here forward.

I am beyond happy with this company and the employees. I needed my house completely rewired while my family and I were still occupying the home. I also had numerous upgrades I wanted to make. I knew that would be an extensive project. But the guys got there EARLY every single day, and at the same time. They ate their lunch at their vehicle for maybe 20 minutes, and then got right back to work. No wasted time. When we asked questions, they were responsive and informative. The quality of work was exactly what is should be. I'm very picky and honestly I looked for mistakes... But never found any. That's huge to me, so I highly recommend them. Lynnell and Caleb professionally installed an electrical hookup for my generator to my electrical box. They accommodated all my requests and were concerned about my satisfaction. Last week, Scott Tucker and his partner Jamaal came to my house to replace all the electrical outlets, light switches and light fixtures with updated (and insurance required) aluminum-based parts. Scott and Jamaal were efficient, hard-working and attentive to the needs of the home. At the end of the first day, there was a problem--no power to the bedrooms and hallway. I called Scott after he left. He and Jamaal returned within an hour, as promised. They addressed a faulty breaker at the panel. At this point it was after 9pm, so I was very appreciative with their response. They returned the second day to finish the lighting fixtures and a few of the outlets/ switches that remained. At that time, a second faulty breaker was replaced for solid and dependable electric flow. They did a great job, and it should be noted as such.

All the technicians have been wonderful. Justin was great with my estimates and following through. Today was the day that Ethan came out to teach us how to use our generator. He was very professional and very helpful and very eager to help us understand everything! This company rocks!

I needed a breaker panel reviewed and had, originally, made arrangements with another company that missed their appointment and stopped communicating.After checking more reviews, I sent a note to American Electrical. Their staff contacted me promptly, fit in an appointment the same day, and reviewed my issue and gave me a path forward. Ricky, the lead tech, was on time, professional, and let me know when to expect him. The entire process was what you expect from a reliable company. Competent service, delivered in a timely manner.I recommend them without hesitation.

Update 4/9/21: After talking with Ken V. (Supervisor) last week, was able to get the job finished. Great service completed by Kyle O. and Robert F.BE WARNED. Non-responsive and unprofessional. I am still in disbelief because I’d used them several years ago and had a good experience. This time around, not good at all. Started a job for me, everything was fine. Turns out they couldn’t finish on same day because didn’t have right supplies and too late to go back to warehouse. Was to follow up with me to finish. They never did. After a couple of weeks when I didn’t hear anything, I called and left a message on the after hours system. Still never received a response. After another week, I called again and actually talked with someone who sent me to the manager/supervisor voicemail. Haven’t heard anything, and frankly at this point I will just hire someone else to finish. Bad business. Not sure if there are internal changes there or what, but definitely not what I expected from them.

I needed a new outlet for my new printer, and Jameel and his team were awesome. I own a UPS Store, and this had to be done while we were open for business. They came in, assessed the situation, and got to work. I was amazed how quickly they were able to get everything accomplished. Since the new outlet couldn't accommodate the items I still needed to use, they drilled me an access hole in my cabinet so I could now use the outlets that previously were unavailable to me. Fred Ellis is awesome. I would have never figured out how to rewire my boat lift. Arrived on time and knew exactly what he was doing. He was professional and was was in and out without wasting time. His truck was full of the parts and tools needed. These guys are the very best in the industry. Very reasonably priced and well worth it. I'll use them in the future for all electrical jobs, big or small.

Lighting hit a tree and knocked out a few things but the dryer was not coming on. They were efficient and checked lines, repaired the plug to the dryer. All is working great. First of all, AEC called us back and acted like they actually wanted our business. That isn't so easy to find these days in my experience. I have used this company on two occasions..both times the Techs arrived as scheduled and did their work in a very professional manner. On the first visit one of the techs fell through the ceiling in the garage destroying a panel of drywall. Fortunately he wasn't injured. They immediately called their office and reported the incident and I was told by the techs that I would hear from someone to come out and repair the damaged ceiling.I've yet to hear from anyone from American unless I call. And I've called approximately 7 times and each time they assure me that I'll hear from a drywall company to fix it..The same techs showed up on the second occasion to do another install(5 weeks later) and were very embarrassed that the ceiling wasn't fixed as of yet! It's now been 6 weeks since this happened and I'm still waiting on a phone call to get my ceiling fixed..American is very good at what they do(electrical work) but not very good at taking care of a problem that they cause!

About 8 months ago, AEC installed my Generac Whole House Generator and did a very professional job. The install is clean and they even transplanted shrubs to hide the generator. Last week my generator failed to start so I called them and they walked me through a few steps to try to correct the issue. Unfortunately a technician needed to come to the house. Ethan was right on time, polite, and truly professional. He had the generator running in 5 minutes, explained the problem (air bubble in gas line) and showed me how to correct it in the future. He then spent 15 minutes running a thorough test, explaining the steps along the way. I could not be happier with the service I have received from AEC and I recommend them if you are considering buying a generator.

Today I had the pleasure of having Edward Watson and Nick Hillisted from American Electrical install two new outlets. Edward did an excellent job of answering questions while steadily working away. They were fast and efficient and they both had a great sense of humor. They were very respectful and cleaned up perfectly when they were done. It took 4 visits from this company to address the issues we called for. I would like to acknowledge the professionalism of Lynnell Williams and Caleb, who made sure the electrical issues were actually resolved. The 5-star review I am giving is for these two technicians, not the company. If a job is not done on the first visit, the same crew should be sent back to finish the job since they’re already familiar with the initial work done. Sending different teams/technicians to resolve an open job only complicates the process.

I had American Electrical upgrade my wiring for a new higher amp cook top. With having an older house, Lynnell and Caleb were able to rewire even though there were issues with support studs in the wall preventing them from easily running the wire. lynnell gave me options on how it could be done, which worked out well. Stacey Ray and Robert Fonseca repaired a short in the wiring to our well pump. I was impressed with how quickly they diagnosed and corrected the issue. The entire project only took 45 minutes from start to finish. We are very grateful to have running water in our house again!

This is my fourth time I've used American Electrical Contracting. Electrician Daniel Moody and Ricky Baublitz were very courteous, professional, and efficient. I presented them with the problem of a circuit run that was constantly shorting out after a home renovation job that the renovators' Master Electrician spent several hours trying to fix and finally blamed the problem upon old wiring without being able to fix it. I was worried about how much time and effort it would take to find the problem over a 50 foot circuit run if a Master Electrician threw his hands up at the problem, BUT Daniel and Ricky were able to troubleshoot the problem, fix the problem, and put the circuit back together that was left taken apart within an hour. (It turned out to be a bad ballast in the main kitchen light and a burnt out ceiling fan motor in the living room that was heating up the circuit.) The prices have always been very reasonable with American Electrical Contracting and I was pleasantly surprised that they were able to figure out the problem as quickly as they did. I would recommend them in a heartbeat for electrical work and will continue to use their services. Great electricians and great job. I have had different electricians every time but they all always have been great. Thanks again.

(2018) Lynnell Williams came out on a Sunday to replace a faulty smoke detector that had been chirping since 3 in the morning. He was kind, efficient and took the time to explain to us how to test our smoke detector in the future. Excellent service.Last week (Oct 2020) we called upon American Electrical again. This time it was to replace 3 outside motion detectors (all on the 2nd story). Scott and Jamal did an excellent job. Everything was cleaned up afterward. One of the motion detectors needed a slight adjustment and they returned the next day and made the quick change. They also wore masks and kept their distance just as the dispatcher promised. The electricians genuinely cared about doing a great job which is a reflection on the company. We will use them again for sure in the future.

The folks from American Electrical were completely professional in every respect. They were on time, skilled, knowledgeable, courteous and completed their work in a quality way. Had a great experience last week with Josh Petrie and his partner. They came out and fixed our doorbell wiring issues and or dining room switch. And in addition were kind enough to install a new light also unexpectedly. Will definitely contact and ask for them when we need our outdoor lighting wiring done.

American Electrical install our whole home generator. From start to finish it has been a perfect professional experience. Justin came out to give us our estimate. He was through and explained the entire process. Gave us a fair price (far better than FPL) and scheduled or install the next week. Then Don Shaw and Joe Cordell showed up for install. And Ed K. finished with start up and educating us about how things work and installing the ap - all throughout the team back in the office were great scheduling and coordinating. The explained every step, were expedient, and friendly. I couldn't ask for a better experience. Great team, clear communication, and professional job. I am remodeling my bathroom and was told I needed an electrician to move the wire box for my new vanity light fixtures, when he took the old fixture down and to install a new exhaust fan. When I called i was told someone could come out at the end of the week! I explained i couldn't wait that long because the drywall/painter was going to get started tomorrow and I was afraid he would get started on another job. She put me on hold and said they could come out today! Lynnell and Caleb came out and in 2 1/4 hours later they were done. Very happy!!

Great expertise, attention to detail, and customer serviceKudos to Lynnell and and Kaleb, who went above and beyond the call of duty in helping us earlier this week with the electrical requirements for a new treadmill. They are extremely knowledgeable and customer-friendly.The electrical requirements for the treadmill were not clear from the treadmill company’s website or user manual. Lynnell took it upon himself to do Internet research, call the treadmill company support line (no answer), and do further research. He and Kaleb spent time exploring the possibility of installing a dedicated electrical circuit for the treadmill but recommended that we not try that route given the configuration of our house and limited attic access.Lynnell and Kaleb also helped us with a number of electrical repairs, including installing several LED canister lights, reseating a number of existing cannisters that had become dislodged due to hammering from construction upstairs, and replacing some problematic electrical outlets. They noticed that the color of the existing outlets is almond rather than white and took the time to have the correct color parts delivered while they were at our house.When we arranged for a service call, we were upset to learn that the company electrician we always asked for in the past has taken a new job. Thanks goodness for Lynnell, who has been with the company for 10 years, and Kaleb!! They are our new go-to electricians.

We had a lightning struck that fried some electrical outlets among other things. Dorian Immell was our tech, and already being on the job for 12 hours and an unscheduled emergency call, kept us informed of his arrival time. Once he arrived, he took care of all issues in a professional manner. Before he left, informed us we still had 10 minutes left on the call and was there anything else he could do.

We had a generator installed. Randy Miller came out today to install the WiFi component. He was very friendly, accommodating with a change in schedule and professional.

After I described my problem--my outlets weren't working--George and Carlos fixed the problem in less than half an hour. What was so wonderful is that I had called another company out last year to fix the same problem, and after two hours, that company couldn't solve the problem but of course still charged me for the two hours of labor.So I was hesitant to go through this again, but I called American Electrical because American Electrical had 5 positive reviews on Yelp, and sure enough, they sent someone out within the hour and fixed the issue right away. I was so happy I had them fix two other issues as well, and still they were in and out in less than 45 minutes. I highly recommend them--thanks so much George and Carlos!!!Patty K

Mark Ayers and Daniel Moody came to fix our parking lot lights. Wow. They really know what they are doing. They were fast, friendly, and took the time to educate me on what they needed to repair. They went above and beyond to make sure my lights were fixed right and their attention to detail was very much appreciated. They even cleaned the lens covers of the lights! They were able to trouble shoot the cause of my lights not working and not just replace parts, thus saving me money from unneeded work. Thank you Mark and Daniel for a job well done!!!

Don and Eddie installed our generator and honestly they could not have been better. They were on time, professional, meticulous and flat out knew what they were doing. They finished in less than a day and it was more than we could have asked for. We have dealt with many other companies for other things and these guys are among the best. Don’t even waste time looking for another generator company it’s not getting any better than this. I would give 10 stars if I could.Then Ethan and Dwayne came out to set up and test the system to ensure it worked as it should. Once again it doesn’t get any better. Joseph and Cody helped us replace a ceiling fan after the motor burned out. They were very professional and timelyJust before Thanksgiving 2019 our stove caught on fire and had to be replaced. I had American Electrical install a 22kw generator. I was given a date and time for the install. Dwayne and Joe were on time. Both techs were knowledgeable and did a great job. After going almost a week without any power after the last hurricane, we decided to purchase a whole house generator. American electric won out because there are people came when they said they would come, did what they said they would do, and charged what they said they would charge. From the initial contact with Pete, to several calls/interactions with Ethan, they have always been professional, courteous, informative, and best of all, honest. I highly recommend them.

I used American Electrical to install a 240v outlet in my garage for charging our Tesla. They did a great job and were quick, efficient and right on budget. As it turned out, while they were there we were having some outlet issues upstairs as well. Ricky and Cody were able to pivot and address that as well at very little additional cost. I first contacted American Electrical Contractors about 3 years ago when I was having an issue with the light switch for my master bathroom. Josh Petrie was the electrician who was sent out and he quickly fixed the problem. When I wanted recessed lighting installed in my kitchen, I called AEC and specifically asked for Josh. He came out, didn't take all day and cleaned up the debris after and my lighting came out beautifully. So three years later, when I needed a Ring doorbell and Spotlight Camera installed, I called and asked for him again not sure if he was still working there. I was so happy to find out that he was still employed with AEC and he came out and did a great job once again including showing me how to navigate the app on my phone once he completed the installations. Any future jobs that I have that require an electrician, I will be calling AEC and requesting Josh.**Update**Google wouldn't let me leave a new review so I will have to edit my previous one. It doesn't matter because I still give them 5 stars for the most recent work performed by Kevin & Austin. I contacted them about replacing 4 outdoor lights on the the sides of my garage and on my porch columns that had become faded and were over 15 years old. I received a courtesy call when they were 30 minutes away. They were quick, cleaned up after themselves and my lights look beautiful. I will continue to use AE for my electrical needs.

Misstep all the way. I have used this company many times over the years but never experienced what I did this time. I was very clear of what I needed and it was not delivered. I received a call from the SERVICE MANAGER that in the first part of the conversation was ok then he became very condescending. I still do not have what I ask for or paid for. Was looking to have them install a whole home generator in the near future but now I am hesitant. I didn't want and apology or a refund, just what I told them I needed from the beginning.

Matthew and David were courteous, experienced and did a great job! They asked all the questions they needed to make sure my preferences were met and also cleaned up the floor after their work! I love American Electrical and have used them for 11 years, and this is why! Professional and diligent workers all around!

Kevin and Dakota did a great job installing LED recessed lighting in our kitchen. They covered the counters with drop cloths and did a very good job of cleaning up once they were done. I wood recommend them to anyone who is wanting to have similar lighting installed.

EDITED!Great experience with Gary Hopkins on my initial call to schedule an appointment, and another great experience with Josh Petrie as my tech.Both were *extremely* helpful and were able to diagnose an issue that was previously quoted for $1,300 down to a $197 problem.Gary was super helpful and able to get me scheduled ASAP which was huge, and then Josh was able to come out, find and fix the issue in less than 30 minutes.Super thankful, also for Angel in helping to resolve a scheduling issue.

Daniel Moody and Jamal McNeil Jr visited me last week. They knew I was operating as a new home owner, conscious of all costs at this time. Daniel was a quick worker, explaning to me how long each leg of the project could potentially take. Jamal was a quick worker and great conversationalist. Both men worked quickly, professionally and fixed all of my issues. I want to emphasize how FAST and FOCUSED they both were.

My wife and I had a few light fixtures that we thought we could install ourselves so we wouldn't have to spend the money on install. We tried one and took down one more, quickly realizing we would need professional help. We had a short timeframe to be able to get everything done before we moved in and American Electrical was able to get an appointment the next day. I can't say enough about how happy we were with the quality of the work that was done for us. We ended up having 4 fixtures install and 5 smoke detectors. Ryan and Jerry were able to take care of everything in a very timely manner. The price was a lot better than I was originally expecting before I called them. I just wish I had known it was going to be this easy and affordable beforehand. I would have called them a lot sooner.

Outstanding service! JEA discovered a problem in the meter can when they were going to upgrade the meter. Being without power unexpectedly, I called American for an emergency repair and they had crew here in less than 30 minutes. A very professional crew, but unfortunately they had to replace the can. It was not an inexpensive job but I think the price was fair. The crew, Daniel and Kyler were very professional and courteous. I highly recommend American Electrical for a fair and reliable company.

Chris Riley with Austin Benton in tow did an excellent job of installing a 240v/50Amp receptacle and a Generator home lock with power receptacle today. Chris was great! He answered ALL my questions with the grace of a professional. Did NOT get upset with all the interruptions for answers and even showed me how to set everything up when needed. After test running the Generator while connected to the house he advised of possible damage to neutral drops damaging flat screen TVs. He even showed me how to reduce the risk of this. Super knowledgeable and easy going and professional all in one package. That is what Chris Riley brings to the job. I'll be back American Electrical Contracting if Chris will do the work.......

This is my first time using American Electrical, although I see their trucks around a lot. Chris and Jemal were prompt, communicative, and knowledgeable. The bonus was they both had great senses of humor! I would definitely recommend them for any and all electrical needs. Technician Robert Cribb was awesome! Our company is currently without a maintenance person and we had several outside lights out on our 14 acre campus and a dangling wire that was causing concern to staff. I called American Electrical and they sent Robert. He replaced blown out bulbs, checked the photo sensors, and detached the dangling wire that was actually not harmful. Robert’s bubbling personality was refreshing and welcoming. He even went above and beyond and showed a female staff person how to lower and raise the American flag on our flagpole because it was September 11. Robert definitely provided a rating of 10 in our books!

Had a new sub-panel fuse box and electricity connected to my storage shed today by Scott Tucker and his colleague. They did a great job and now I wonder why I waited 13 years to get it done. Michael Snead and his helper came to our house today, to install an outside plug, and wiring to our breaker panel, to set us up to use a portable generator safely. They arrived on time, worked in inclement weather conditions, and upon completion, took their time to review with me in detail, how to operate the breaker panel, when using our portable generator, in the event of an extended power outage. These guys were great! Alan and his apprentice called to let me know they were coming and after some extensive problem-solving they fixed my problem (a bad outdoor wall outlet). An exterior electrical outlet box came loose from my house. Mike L and Mike S came out to reattach it more securely. They were both very professional and friendly. I set up an appointment with American Electrical Contracting to install a new 240v 60amp connection in my garage to support some new equipment I just got. Paul Madey was the electrician in charge for the installation and did a fantastic, efficient job of the installation. Paul and I discussed where to install the new connector and he had great advice. In no time flat I had my connection in the most efficient location and my garage was left clean and tidy.

I have used American Electrical for several years. They have placed new outlets, security lights and cameras. They installed the recording device for the cameras and explained how they work. We had a propane generator installed by a gas company two months ago. It has never worked even after multiple visits from the gas company and electrical subcontractor. Finally the gas company called American Electrical Contractors to assist. Ethan arrived and had the problem diagnosed in less than 10 minutes. Low gas pressure. He was very polite and explained everything he was doing. He had it corrected shortly. I would highly recommend American Electrical Contractors.

My sick generator was in need of repair and maintenance. Ethan and Don did a quick diagnosis of the problems and repaired/replaced all necessary parts. Ethan is very knowledgeable, explained things well and did what was required at a very reasonable price. I contracted w/American Electrical Contracting last summer to install a whole house generator. I recently scheduled my annual generator inspection. I unfortunately had another contractor accidentally bump the kill switch on the back of the unit a couple weeks ago, which forced us to bump up the annual inspection a month earlier opposed to having two service calls or having the unit down! Veronica in the office, as well as Ethan, the tech that serviced the generator could not have been any more helpful! The team that installed my new Generac generator was fantastic. First, I could not believe how 3 men worked so well together removing my old generator and old cable to install new cable and the new generator and pad. The finishing touch was provided by Ethan when he started up the generator, installed the wifi connection, and explained everything I needed to know about the operation of the generator. I feel assured that American Electrical will now be looking after my generator through wifi and Ethan and the company are extremely competent.

Christian Allen and Miguel M was very knowledgeable and helpful. He was courteous to my elderly mother and I, and seemed to be very knowledgeable in his work. Ethan and Don came out for some major service work on our 30Kw Generac. Living on the water, the salt can sure take its toll on equipment. Replacing all the motor mounts and the entire cabinet sounds much easier than it actually is. Let me press the EASY button! The only blip in the process was a minor mix-up in the scheduling. Luckily we work from home so we could be flexible and the mix-up was easily resolved. Regardless, the office staff was friendly, knowledgeable and professional.WORK/QUALITY/SERVICE: Ryan Hershberger and Levi Matchet were the electricians sent to perform the work. They called in advance to ensure we would be home and arrived promptly at the scheduled time. After walking through our property and confirming the work order, they wasted no time and quickly got to work. The installation of new exterior wiring, new wall outlets and replacement of a few old ones went smooth. We've put their work to use and all have functioned as they should with no issue/concerns. I feel completely at ease in having them do future electrical work in our home.In closing, American Electrical did a great job from start to finish. I would hire them again!

Fantastic service and group of folks. Found them on Angie's list, called for a quote. They sent out an estimator the very next day, their quote was exactly as asked for and very reasonably priced. Installers were sent within a day of accepting the quote. The installers were fantastic. We asked for a bunch of extra items and asked their advice on trouble spots we had. They were very professional, knowledgeable, informative and helpful. They provided recommendations without any hard sell, and we asked for extra services as a result. Additional services worked and installed the very next day. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

Shopped around for estimates and AEC was the best price and with additional work included(upgrade panel). The crew, Chris? and Bo, were on time, polite, professional, and worked very hard especially when upgrading the panel. They discovered odd wiring, basically a spaghetti royal mess. They tackled the problem with no short cuts.Ethan, the instructional technician, was superb as well. I would highly recommend American Electrical for generator installation, maintenance, and service. I had my Generac generator installed one year ago. The installation was neat and professional, took less than one day, and everything worked perfectly right away. Have had several power outages and the system always worked perfectly. The same technician who installed the unit (Ethan Wildermuth) also came back today, a year later, to perform the annual maintenance. Ethan is courteous, knowledgable, and efficient, and I know I can trust him and American Electrical to provide the best service.

Light switches and outlets on one side of my kitchen suddenly went out. Tried resetting fuses, pushed GFI, nothing worked. I was worried that the electrical system needed to be replaced as it is 25 years old or so. I called American Electrical and they set up an appointment for 2 days later.Troy called before he got here to let me know he was on the way. He and his assistant were friendly, polite and professional and immediately went to work. Turned out it WAS the GFI switch, but it was just hard to push in correctly. He looked at my wiring at that time and said it was fine, and not to worry about it. He could have told me I needed to rewire my kitchen and I would have believed him. 100% trustworthy! I will definitely call them again and ask for Troy if I have any electrical problems or needs.

Today Cody and Daniel investigated why my refrigerator circuit breaker kept tripping, causing my refrigerator to shut off. Obviously this was critical because of the food in the freezer and fridge. They checked the panel wiring, every outlet in the kitchen on that circuit, and finally went into the attic to check the wiring route there. They found a section of the wiring route that was very damp due to the proximity to the A/C ducting. They had to replace that section of wiring and that resolved the entire matter. I appreciated their thorough, professional approach to rule out the breaker, the outlets, etc. They kept me appraised of what they would do next as they stepped through the work. I could not have asked for two more professional, courteous, and knowledgeable electricians. I will definitely be a repeat customer! Thank you, Cody and Daniel.

While planning for installation of a hot tub/spa, I had to have new wiring and an upgrade to main panel. I researched many companies and took five bids for electrical work. Bids ranged from extremely high to what seemed to be normal pricing ranges for this kind of work. Although there are other quite capable companies and contractors out there, I chose American Electrical for their courtesy, professionalism and very good ratings. Pricing was more than fair and inline with other quotes.Gary Hopkins was great at listening to my needs and explaining the difference in wiring up different brand spas. Their efficiency and price for the job is what sold me!Now to the crew, I had Lynell and Caleb. They worked very well together as a team. Very punctual, very polite and very good at their job. When they say they are going to be there at a certain time, they are spot on! My job required two trips, since hot tub was on order and not installed just yet. Not a problem!In closing, I researched a lot of contractors and took bids. Based on what I learned in the process, my gut instinct said, go with these guys!. It was the right call!

These guys did a great job. The techs they sent out were very professional and very nice. I thought I might need an entire re-wire of the house and they informed me I just need to replace my panel box, so they are honest as well. If you need anything electrical done I highly recommended them.

Danial Moody and Chris Padilla where very knowledgable and friendly and had excellent customer service skills. They where on time for their appointment and finished the job in a timely manner. I will use American Electrical again for any future needs. Also if you get the change ask personally for Danial and Chris to do the service on your home you won't be disappointed. Don Shaw and Joe Cordell did a great job fixing an electrical problem at my house that turned into more of a puzzle than expected. They identified the problem that was causing the circuit breaker for my home office to trip and quickly fixed it. They also replaced an exhaust fan motor and timer for my outdoor lights. I have used American Electrical to install new LED lights and fixtures, and fix multiple electrical issues during the past 4-1/2 years. I highly recommend their services.

Carl and Justin did a great job troubleshooting and fixing my dead outlet. They arrived on time and had no problem taking their shoes off inside the house. They spent some extra time up in the hot attic to find the problem and never complained. When they left, you never would have known they were there....except for the repaired outlet. Ryan H and Levi M fixed my problem with the circuit breaker to my hot water heater. They were on time, polite, and very efficient. It was immediately obvious that Ryan is extremely knowledgeable and experienced. He quickly analyzed the problem and promptly fixed it. He explained everything and checked it all. He went beyond the expected, even replaced a poor connection on the hot water heater at no extra charge. Finished in 30 minutes and the price was much less than I expected. Another great service experience with Ethan and American Electrical. I called on 12/27/19 to request yearly preventive maintenance for our Kohler generator. The call was scheduled for today 12/30/19, Ethan arrived on time and performed and explained the service call. I am very pleased with this experience and would heartily recommend American Electrical and Ethan for anyone needing home generator service.
