Working with Doan Restoration is fairly easy because their communication is excellent. Their technicians showed up on time to most appointments and did not cancel any appointments while I worked with them. Their overall quality and cleanliness is good but has some room for improvement. Overall customer service is good too. The technicians who went to my house worked fast and finished the work within a reasonable amount of time.

Respect for property and privacy received a 2 out 5 due to a few issues. Firstly, the technicians who worked at my house did not ask for permission to enter rooms and open closets. They behaved as if they owned my house and even locked one of my doors while working; this was a concern.

They did not ask for permission to move any of my furniture either. One of the technicians could not figure out that my desk, which held sensitive computer equipment, was anchored to the wall. He decided to brute-force his way through and yanked the desk from the wall, anchors and all. This could have been avoided if I was consulted first. I requested that a portion of the compromised drywall be removed to address the issue.

The first cut of drywall ended up being too small. After a brief explanation in structural mechanics to the technician, a second portion of drywall was cut to properly address the issue. The star rating in this review was rounded up to 4 to reflect the fact that Doan made things right after the mistake.

My recommendation to Doan is to retrain technicians to ask for owner's permission before moving furniture, opening closets, walking freely throughout the house, or entering rooms. Good communication with the customer is essential to build trust.

Update 06/28/2020
Today I received a Pre-Lien letter from Doan's lien processing company in the mail. Basically, Doan is threatening to take legal action against me if they do not receive payment for their services. I find it odd, and distasteful, that Doan would send this to me since they have my claim number and will be paid directly by my insurance company. Additionally, this is the second time I contracted Doan for water mitigation. They already have a positive history with me as a customer and they know that both myself and my insurance carrier work very fast. They were paid in full the first time and they will be paid in full a second time as well. However, this will also be the last time I work with Doan going forward. I've decided to remove half a star from the overall rating due to this letter and I can no longer recommend this company to anyone. I highly suggest looking for a better alternative.

Such good results!!! Branden and Chaz did a great job from start to finish. They explained the process every step of the way. All my questions were answered and communication was open to call with any issues I had with the water damage. They left no mess to clean up after. I like that I got notice before arriving. Great job!

We had a roof leak that resulted in interior and exterior damage including mold. I asked our Nextdoor app for recommendations and several gave me the contact information for 1800WaterDamage. They answered the phone the phone right away and came the next day. They were able to give a good recommendation for a contractor to make the necessary repairs. They were generous to leave the negative pressure equipment for 2 weeks while the other work was being done. The original quote was honored. They were on time and very professional. I would highly recommend them with no reservations and would use them again.

After a bad monsoon we had water in our living room. We called Phoenix water damage and they were able to come out same day, which was great. Robert was on time and made sure our house was nice and dry. I would recommend them and use them again. Thank you.

I worked with Jakob H and he was simply really great and informative. Tyler H . was assisting with removals and he was cleaning up just like it was his own space. Did such a good job. Chandler N. Was here to work the removal with and he spoke to me and explained further the job. Jakob and Tyler and this team was so impressive and really helped me to remain calm during a very stressful time. Juan and Michael were very kind and understanding while also taking great care of my home. They had to take apart some of the house (cabinets, wall, floor) and they did it quickly and kept everything clean with no dust or trash anywhere. They came back quickly to remove the fans they had set up to dry the house. I cannot recommend them enough!

AMAZING service by Service Master, first time users and I hope we never have to use a restoration company again but if we do, we'll be calling Service Masters..

One phone call from Katherine Ely, the operations manager set things in motion after she listened to our water heater (leak) issue. We were then paired up with Erika Brake as our in-office contact person and within no-time a team was out to access the situation in person & they went immediately to work, setting up fans, pulling back carpet, drilling holes in walls to allow the fans to dry out the inside sheetrock/drywall etc., they measured & cut out sheetrock from our garage wall to allow the wood to dry, they were like busy beavers, non-stop working to assure the rooms and garage would dry out.

Having Erika as our point of contact was one of the best things Service Master could have done, she's a star !! In any type of incident with your home, stress is there and then the unknown but Erika was amazing in her communication with us, made sure to constantly check how things were going (by phone calls) and advising us on the next step of action.. Anything we needed, she put them in contact with us and what great referrals she had, from plumber, towel service to contractor for rebuild. All referrals worked perfectly for us, great to know there are companies still out there that provide fast urgent work for emergencies and provide top notch service.

We were very lucky to have been referred to Service Master by our Insurance Company and were able to work with Erika Brake as our contact person, she's amazing and in the right position to help people in their need. Thanks Erika !!!!!!!!!!!

Coming home to a pipe burst and a large water leak after a long day was very frustrating. The water leak had damaged my wood floors and all the drywall in the area.
I used AM/PM Restoration Services to get my house back to its original condition. They were extremely helpful and attentive from beginning to end. All their staff was very pleasant to work with and they got the job done quickly and affordably.

I called a few companies and Next Gen was the only one that returned my call and came out to the house to inspect the roof leak. It was a bad month for storms because I had to call them out a few more times. They came out quickly and did what was needed to prevent more damage. They were professional and made sure everything was clean when they left. Thank you again for all your hard work. Would definitely use them again if needed and highly recommend them.

My carpet, rugs and floor tiles always look brand new by the time they have done. (I have 2 dogs,a baby and white carpet) I highly recommend their services. I now have my friends hooked on them too! Thanks WMF and team

Jorge, Mario, Peter and Jon were fantastic! Obviously there was a lot of stress due to water damage in our home, but Jorge’s team did a fantastic job. They were fast to respond to any questions and even followed up daily to make sure that we understood the next steps. They were professional and considerate. We had a (small) fire around the electric panel in our garage. The entire electric panel had to be replaced, which resulted in several large holes and missing panels in the dry wall. In addition, there was a small amount of smoke damage on the surrounding walls.

Our insurance company recommended Belfor to do the repairs. Felicia Packey first came out to review the scope of the job and give an estimate. Chad John was the project manager on the job. Both were extremely professional, courteous, and competent. The repairs look perfect. The dry wall has been patched, texturized, and painted very skillfully. One would never know that we had a fire in that area. We are quite happy with the job that Belfor did for us!

Go To Services is a highly professional, and more importantly, trustworthy company. We have a busy toddler & needed a pool fence installed ASAP. They came out & installed one fast and helped me find solutions to other safety concerns I had with my pool area to ensure it was safe for my child. We are extremely pleased with the work!
