I was in a tough spot. My brother was staying in our AZ house and the ceiling started leaking. I wasn’t there. I didn’t know who to call. I was referred to Restoration 1 and hoped for the best. That’s what I got—the best service, the best communication, and the best help to mitigate the leak. They even helped me find someone to repair the ceiling.

Jose Andy and Brandy have been amazing to work with. They are very responsive and professional. I had a water leak in my mater bathroom and like a super hero team they arrived on the scene with fans and equipment within hours. They quickly guided me through the entire process and answered all my questions.

Jorge is the manager that gave me daily status updates and took every call I had.

Brandy, my rep & Jorge the project manger were some of the most professional, considerate people to work with. They honestly cared about doing the right thing. Mold remediation is difficult to detect & treat properly. I was sick with CIRS/ mold for 21 years so I am very educated. FEW companies seriously know how to find it let alone treat it!!! These people are the “ones” that can do the job correctly & fight for your rights as well.

Restoration 1 did not do the repair of the water damage, but put us in touch with the various companies that deal with asbestos abatement, etc. The company did do drying, testing, and documentation of the situation.
We believe that Jorge Montanez, the Project Manager, is a valuable asset to the company. He made himself available 24/7 to answer our questions and provided information to our insurance company in a timely manner.
The techs-- Giovannie, Filiberto, and Oscar, to name several, worked hard and professionally. The only difficulty for us was the changing arrival times, even given the 2 hour window. They did keep us informed of the changing times.
We do recommend Restoration 1 of Phoenix.

Oscar and Beto took care of my demo and cleanup from water damage. Removed cabinets, tile (2 layers plus linoleum!) drywall and insulation, then made another trip out to make sure they cleaned up any dust that settled later. So friendly, professional and kept in touch via text as I requested. Brandy answered every time I had a question and helped me from start to finish.

This company has been amazingly helpful during the insurance process. My adjusters were kind of a nightmare but they were right there helping me the entire time. Brandy came out to my home first and assessed what was needed. I felt comfortable with her. I had one other company come before her that I just had a gut instinct on. So I went with this company and I’m so glad I did. John, the project manager was very helpful. Darrin the owner also was helpful. And the crew was very professional. They did the tear out of my bathroom yesterday. They came back today to get all of their machinery. Each time they were on time. Each time they communicated effectively. Each time they showed up ready to do what they were going to do and checked in with me. It’s hard to find contractors that do those things. Thank you for all your help.

After I contacted Restoration 1 when I noticed a leak in my ceiling, someone was at my house within 45 minutes. Jorge, Mario, and the crew were amazing to work with. They were extremely professional and courteous and always on time. Jorge called each day to check in with me and answer any questions I had and to provide me with status updates. He never got frustrated when I asked for clarification on the insurance process.

Oscar & Beto were our techs. Both were pleasant, professional and are welcomed back if ever needed. Good people, hard workers.

Was visiting my parents in AZ when the water heater in garage started leaking. Shortly after the bedroom carpet on the other side of wall was soaking wet. Called plumber who out out immediately to turn off water. Asked if he knew of a restoration company to help with the cleanup. He called Restoration 1. We assumed it would be the next day, but within 10 minutes, Brandy called and she came right out. At this time it is after 6:00 p.m. She said her guys would be out to do clean up. I again assumed it would be next day, but within 30 minutes, a crew of four guys appeared. They were all very polite, professional and made quick work of the damage. They installed several fans to air out the room in hopes the drywall wouldn't need to be replaced. Next day, back again to tear up carpet. During this time, my father was/is very ill, and it was just another thing my mom didn't need to deal with. I can't thank Brandy, Jorge, Mario and Eduardo enough for being so quick and staying at the house up to 8:00 p.m the first night to help our family. They also handled all the insurance paperwork. Give them a try you will be happy.

I had extensive water damage to my house last week. It was a disaster!!! But with one 3 minute phone call, I had same day, emergency customer service! Brandy and John have given me “over and above“ Excellent customer service! On a scale of 1 to 10 they are a 15!! We absolutely loved the help Brandy and Jorge gave us! Both were knowledgeable and simplified everything for us! During the stress of a sudden repair they calmed us and helped us get through it quick and painlessly! We have a home in downtown Cave Creek, built in the 1930s, and added on to by various owners. We completely restored/brought up-tp-code 5 years ago. We use this as a vacation rental, but due to Covid, our renters had canceled, and we have not been able to travel there ourselves. Neighbors and contracted services keep an eye on it, but two weeks ago, major flood throughout entire house caused by a burst main pipe coming into house. Our plumbing company recommended Restoration 1, and even called them for us. Brandy was there within an hour. She took pics, explained the seriousness of the situation, and walked up through the process of what needed to take place to prevent further damage, coordinated with insurance. The crew were there shortly afterwards. Jorge was team leader for the drying-out/demolition. He also communicated exactly what was going on every step of the way. This was reassuring, since we can’t be there and all floors, kitchen cabinets, vanities, and much drywall had to be removed. Communication was impeccable. This company works well with our plumbing company, and they’ve recommended a company to do the re-build. I hope that company is a as speedy and professional...Restoration 1 has set the standards almost impossibly high and they will be a hard act to follow. My deep appreciation goes out to Jorge and his crew: Mario, Jr., Peter, and Richie, as well as Brandy, and the owner, Darin (with whom I’ve not spoken with, but it is obvious he runs a top-notch operation). John, Mario, Richie and Raheem rocked my world. They showed up because my upstairs neighbor's toilet flooded into my bathroom and they were on it! Not only were they well versed in what they were doing but also they communicated with me every step of the way. The whole crew at Restoration 1 of Phoenix was wonderful and extremely professional. Our hot water heater busted and flooded our garage a week before the scheduled delivery of our second child. Jose and the crew were quick to assess the water damage, immediately worked to remove the damaged drywall and began the drying process right away. When a drain pipe in my kitchen blew, my house was flooded with sewer water. Brandy was at my house within an hr from reaching out to them. Brandy, Jorge and Mario were nothing less than professional and thorough with performing the tear out, dry out and clean up of my house. Restoration 1 of Phoenix was amazing all the way through! Our water heater cracked spilling water throughout our garage (this was a Friday night). Restoration 1 was called the next day and within 30 minutes Brandy was there inspecting the damage. While she was still at my house, Mario and crew called me to confirm they were already in route (WOW!). Brandy left and 5 minutes later Mario showed up to begin the restoration process. Mario was back every day to check on the progress.

I'm in customer service, and this is the gold standard treatment. The team was incredibly responsive, helpful, and courteous. The communication with Mario and Brandy was top-notch, and I was in the loop through the entire process. I felt extremely valued as their customer. Initially I had started with a different company whom apparently just wanted a check, it was very stressful dealing with them. A friend recommended Restoration 1, I KID U NOT - AS SOON AS THEY SHOWED UP I FELT RELIEVED! We had a water leak in our wall and had exemplary service from Mario and David at Restoration 1. They were here daily to clean up our water damage and dry out our house. They were very polite and were fantastic about letting us know when they were coming. I would use them again if we ever needed this service.

When our home had an unfortunate accident involving a flooding of sewage water Restoration 1 of Phoenix are the ones we called, and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. They show up ahead of the plumber to lay their equipment to start charging you daily and stick you with a bill they cant substantiate. Still waiting on estimate 2 mos later to see how they arrived to their fake charges

Restoration 1 was an excellent mitigation company to work with during a difficult time. I cannot say enough goods things about their response and the care they take in getting your house dried out. Within two hours of our initial meeting they had people out installing air movers and dehumidifiers to begin the dry out process. They worked efficiently to remove damaged drywall, carpet and baseboards. And on top of all that they did not leave a mess behind - once they were done removing the damaged items they cleaned up behind themselves.
I highly recommend this company for any of your mitigation needs - they are responsive, professional and care about the state of your home.

If I could give zero stars I would. They are scammers. At first they promise so much stuff, are so nice then they turn around and charge whatever they want. Ridiculous charges too that of course insurance would not cover. Now they are threatening to put a lien on my house. NOT COOL! Do not work with them. Do your research first. The service of this company is spectacular!! We had an emergency (it was raining in our living room... literally) from a washer that was broken on our second floor and they were so responsive, professional, clean and they did the job in a timely manner. I cannot say enough of this guys.

I am new to the Phoenix. when my home flooded, I called Restoration 1. Darrin and his team came out in no time and had all of the water removed from my home. Once all of the water was removed, they removed anything was not saveable. I would recommend Darrin and Restoration 1 for any and all water damage work.
