BELFOR Property Restoration

I went through an extremely stressful situation with water damage in my home recently & from start to finish, Belfor made me feel like a top priority. Rowell was communicative, responsive, and very professional. The jobs were done quickly & they kept me in the loop throughout it all, especially with my complicated work schedule. I was scared my house would be left a huge mess, but they were organized and clean, made sure I felt comfortable with the work they had done, and let me ask any questions I had without judgment. They really made the entire experience less stressful for me thank you!!!

A huge mirror in our guest bathroom fell off the wall and damaged the toilet, bathtub, and stone tile. Belfor was there initially to clean up all the shards of glass covering the entire space and spilling into the landing. Once this safety issue was quickly addressed they moved forward with the repairs with integrity, professionalism and quality. Francisco, the contractor who managed our small project. treated us as though we were his biggest client- always responsive, patient and professional. We have worked with many renovation companies and contractors over the years. Belfor and Francisco are the best we have ever had the pleasure of working with and we highly recommend them.

These guys did a great job at our Assisted Living Home. We had a kitchen flood due to the RO system under the sink and they were onsite in less than an hour to help! They also helped coordinate a plumber out the same day to help fix the leak. Everyone was very professional and our staff was impressed at how efficient they were. Great communication and very helpful. We highly recommend this company.

We had a (small) fire around the electric panel in our garage. The entire electric panel had to be replaced, which resulted in several large holes and missing panels in the dry wall. In addition, there was a small amount of smoke damage on the surrounding walls.

Our insurance company recommended Belfor to do the repairs. Felicia Packey first came out to review the scope of the job and give an estimate. Chad John was the project manager on the job. Both were extremely professional, courteous, and competent. The repairs look perfect. The dry wall has been patched, texturized, and painted very skillfully. One would never know that we had a fire in that area. We are quite happy with the job that Belfor did for us!

This company was nice at first. They were there right away. Helped us get into a hotel. And started our house right away. Come to find out they sub contracted the work out and are trying to charge us 80,000 just for demolition and clean out in our house! Also they kept saying they would send this or that or call us back the following day we had to call them back after a day and couldn't always get a hold of them.

For your own sake, DO NOT use this company!!! Our insurance contracted with them for water/mold restoration in August of 2021. I still, over a year later, do not have a fully restored kitchen as they left one day and never returned. Ten months go by and we hear nothing from them. Suddenly we get a call and invoice from them, claiming that I signed a form that the work was completed to my satisfaction in 11/2021. How can that be when I still had workers at my house in Feb of 2022 and I still have work to this day that was not completed? Frustrating when all you want is to have your house put back to right after a burst pipe and you get nothing but headache upon headache.
EDIT: So after our initial review Belfor did reach out. We gave them a chance to correct the mistake and they did come back and complete the job to our satisfaction. I have to say that it makes a big difference who you deal with. The worker RJ that came out this time did a great job, was friendly, and professional. For the duration of the new work that was done, this time around, Belfor kept us updated and let us know what was going on every step of the way. If only we had this experience the first time around.

Belfor did a great job and quickly getting our home back together after water damage. They interfaced with the insurance company the entire time so we did not have to. One year later they came back and touched up some warranty work with no fuse. Great company and service.

Belfor did a great job. Gary, Tanner, RJ, Aaron and Robert are true pros. My dining room floor suffered water damage, but now, with the new flooring, it's as beautiful as ever. Thanks so much!

AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! To cover everything that went wrong in the 5 month it took Belfor to replace my living room/kitchen floors (even though the actually replacement done by a subcontractor took 1 day!!) would take too long, but here are the highlights of the experience I had:
- Belfor misquoted the flooring price to the insurance, as they used prices from 2021, so we had to go back and submit another estimate.
- They constantly did not follow up and left me in the dark on what was going on
- Blamed delays on the insurance, when I had emails from the insurance stating exactly when they had tried to contact Belfor and nothing was followed up on again by Belfor
- Blatantly lied to me about who did what when I had records of everything
- Belfor staff said they will call me and never did even after multiple attempts to speak with my case manager
-Belfor staff came to the house to pick up a floor tile that was damaged to find comparable new flooring, but never took the sample, so they had to come back. They also came several times to measure.
- Belfor staff came to my home to look at new flooring samples, but failed to bring the samples.
-Belfor staff send me paperwork that they are putting a lien on my house, before they had ever started any work
- I was not given a final invoice, yet was pushed to sign off on the work and sign that I will pay the final bill even though I had none.
-The absolute highlight however was that when I finally got my bill they added my deductible as a billed item. WHAT?? They billed me directly and did not deal with my insurance on the payment at all, so why would they add $2000 to my bill as a charged item? I am just glad I caught it, as I can only imagine all the other customers they try to do that to, who are not as diligent and just pay they bill.

Belfor phoenix was very professional when they stopped in to meet with my team. They even brought us crumbl cookies as a gift. They went above and beyond my expectations. Would definitely recommend this company

They work efficiently with insurance agencies to come up with solutions in a timely manner. The front office at Belfor is also extremely helpful and proficient in communication. They have been a pleasure to work with. Highly recommended!

Mitigation team was very helpful and diligent. Rowell made feel like he cared about mitigating the damage and keep me up to date with what was going on.

My entire experience with Belfor was excellent. From the beginning to the end of the project they were professional, on-time, and exceeded my expectations.

Ben Rodriguez, GM., the only light in this bleak tunnel. The only professional. Project manager was rude, condescending, and failed to manage my water damage and wood rot problem with even a modicum of acceptability and professionalism. The foreman was routinely late. The work done was shoddy, sub standard...very poor quality. Now in a dispute with the insurance company to have work done acceptably and properly. Truly disappointing.

The sad thing is the people who did the restoration work on my flooded apartment did more damage to my things than the flood itself. To top it off, they refuse to cooperate with my insurance company. It took approximately 10 days after the flood for me to be able to move back in. Upon coming home I noticed scratches on walls, doors and my dresser and bed. The dresser cost $4000 and the bed frame $3000 and we're only purchased a few months prior. The worst thing is that per my neighbors they left my front door open the entire time they were doing work on my unit. This includes at night when no one was there. They didn't lock up! Luckily nothing was stolen. Avoid this business like the plague.

We are dealing with the hot water tank leak, we have worked with this company previously through our insurance. Unfortunately the initial experience was tremendous but the current experience has been a nightmare. What should’ve taken a few days has now taken multiple weeks, very poor communication and follow up with the team. We have been promised multiple times a job will be done, then the workers leave and the work is left unfinished. We’ve had to call multiple staff members including the general manager requesting immediate resolution and we are still waiting for this job to be finished

Belfor was hired by my insurance company to repair a wall that had been hit by an impaired driver. The wall had been standing for thirty years prior to the accident and looked as solid as the day it was made but for the chunks that had been knocked out by the car. Belfor employees showed up and talked a great game. Told me how they were going to fix the wall. They took down a good ten feet of wall on either side of the impact point. Charged the insurance company almost twenty grand. Less then two months latter the wall is separating at the corners. Almost a year later Belfor's solution? Paint over the problem. The wall looks far worse then the prior wall which had been hit by a car! And they want to paint over their poor workmanship.

Now that I've done some research I realize Belfor has such bad reviews I would not have independently hired them. Lesson number two, don't think insurance companies know anything about qualify contractors. Lesson number one? Stay away from Belfor.

Belfor helped out at a very stressful time! Promptly returns phone calls, which most people don't do anymore! Scott guided us thru the process and treated us more like a friend than a customer.

MY INS CO SENT ONE CHECK TO BELFOR WHICH WAS AN OVER PAYMENT OF ABOUT $10,000 DOLLARS...IT HAS BEEN APX GOING ON 3 MONTHS THAT THEY HAVE NOT RETURNED MY MONEY! MOST THIS MONEY IS DUE TO ANOTHER CO WAITING NOW ON THERE PATMENT ...THIS IS CAUSING ME MUCH STRESS AND I JUST HAD MAJOR SURGERY AND BELFOR KNOWS THIS...VERY UNPROFESSIONAL STEALING MY MONEY BACIALLY

They have asked me to leave a review with the work they done, since my friend does not have an Google account. A friend of mine with the service this company did for him. Fantastic work from Ciryus he was on time and very professional during this loss. His boss Rowell was very on top of things and kept updating my friend loss at the house. Would highly recommend them for anything!

Belfor kept excellent communication with us during the stressful repairs. Special props to Juan Grado as the project manager and his team. They completed the repairs on our schedule and Juan came out several times to make sure we were happy with the work and his crew. If we pointed anything out to touch up Juan had someone out immediately to make it right. The Belfor team were very pleasant to work with and the work that was done looks great. I definitely recommend the Phoenix Belfor office for your restorations. When it was time to sign papers and handle insurance Juan took charge and we had no stress or hesitation to sign we were pleased with the job that was done. Grayson from Belford was amazing. He made the process quick easy and seamless. Everything was completed and repair back to its original state. Cant even tell they did any work. We will be using them again at. The Hawthorne. Thanks guys.
