Upon discovering that the pilot light was extinguished in my water heater, I tried everything short of changing out the Gas/Temperature control valve but nothing worked. The technician came within a couple of hours of me scheduling the appointment and discovered the issue within 5 minutes of diagnosing. It was a failed component within the control valve.Needless to say, he got the water heater going and offered some insight on how to mitigate the problem in the future. I truly appreciated the expedient and professional service.Edit to previous review:I was a bit enamored when I posted the original review—having hot water again after 4 days of cold showers will do that to a man.I still appreciate the prompt service and professionalism, but I realized after-the-fact that the problem was identified, the water heater was restarted and is working, but it wasn’t actually repaired. There’s a faulty striker in the electric gas/temperature valve, and it’s still there. So I paid for a $125 service call to restart the appliance but no actual repairs were performed or offered. I was told what was wrong, so that’s a plus, but the technician replacing/repairing the problem was an assumption-in-err Orr my part.Nonetheless, still great service—just be sure to inquire about having repairs performed as opposed to momentary patches.

I was anxious to get a plumber to my house and Rockys was my first call. Waited all afternoon and my call was never returned. So disappointing especially since we did so much business with his dad. Not very professional, in my humble opinion.

Don't waste your money with this company.

We hired the company to fix a sewage line, we paid half the amount with the agreement. They said they completed the job but we later found the sewage line was still leaking. After repeated called no one came out to complete the job. After a month we decided to hire another plumber because we needed this job complete. We informed A&P Pluming that we would not be paying the remaining balance since the job was not complete. Now we received a collections notice, not only for the part that we told them we would not pay, but for the full amount. Now we need to settle the bill with collections. A complete waste of time and money.
