Awesome, fast, and professional service. The tech arrived 30 minutes after I called. For being a weekend and after hours, I expected a longer wait. He fixed the problem within 30 minutes, so from the time I called until he left the job site was an hour total.

Needed my water heater replaced and they wanted to charge $2500 for labor alone. Called another company that charged me $760. Taking advantage of hardworking people is disgusting and they should be ashamed of themselves.

I can't give a five, because I was disappointed in the scheduling of my service..but once we were able to confirm that someone would be coming out, it went well, and my service was completed to my satisfaction.

My sprinkler system backflow was leaking. I called Roto Rooter and they came within 35 minutes. They were able to get the parts to replace backflow valve and came back to repair the same day. Very professional work. Also showed me the problem from the old system once removed and explained how to maintain to ensure system works as it should. Excellent work!

Had issues for years seemed like no one was able to fix my sinks, would work for few weeks and they would be clogged again. My last resort was calling Roto-Rooter and now everything works perfectly fine. Should have called them first. Thank you Roto-Rooter.

Answered after hours right away. However very expensive to come in at night. So I deferred the repair to the next day. It was still expensive but got done quickly.

Alfredo, Jim, Luigie, Arturo, and Zach did a great job getting the water cleared out, applying the antimicrobial solutions, bagging, documenting, and removing damaged items. They checked daily on the dryers until they were no longer needed. Zach spoke with my insurance company rep with me to help get the process started with the claim. They all were professional and thorough. Great Job!

Upon discovering that the pilot light was extinguished in my water heater, I tried everything short of changing out the Gas/Temperature control valve but nothing worked. The technician came within a couple of hours of me scheduling the appointment and discovered the issue within 5 minutes of diagnosing. It was a failed component within the control valve.Needless to say, he got the water heater going and offered some insight on how to mitigate the problem in the future. I truly appreciated the expedient and professional service.Edit to previous review:I was a bit enamored when I posted the original review—having hot water again after 4 days of cold showers will do that to a man.I still appreciate the prompt service and professionalism, but I realized after-the-fact that the problem was identified, the water heater was restarted and is working, but it wasn’t actually repaired. There’s a faulty striker in the electric gas/temperature valve, and it’s still there. So I paid for a $125 service call to restart the appliance but no actual repairs were performed or offered. I was told what was wrong, so that’s a plus, but the technician replacing/repairing the problem was an assumption-in-err Orr my part.Nonetheless, still great service—just be sure to inquire about having repairs performed as opposed to momentary patches.

After a week, 3 different plumbing companies, and a leak detection service, who wanted to either rip up my concrete slab or knock down my walls I called Roto-Rooter. My water heater broke on a Saturday afternoon, water everywhere. Roto-Rooter showed up that same day, stopped the water, put up fans, and had the water heater replaced by the next day. Richey, Miguel & Moises were all very helpful. Moises did a great job ripping up all of the carpet, checking on the drying process with the fans, and making the process as easy as possible.

Machado was my service tech this week and he is amazing. He was prompt and got right down to business. He took less than an hour to get my laundry room up and running. The estimate he gave me was exact, he fixed the gas line in the laundry room which I had not even noticed and even gave me great advice about my water heater. Awesome service and professionalism. They didn’t find the leak they replaced what they claimed was the leak, it wasn’t. Charged almost $700 and when I called them to let them know the city had informed me a week later that we were still loosing the same amount of water they said it would be a totally new charge. Huge waste of money, extremely disappointed.

Don't get ripped off, they always want to overcharge. Quoted me $7,200 on a job some one else was able to take care of for $250. They wanted to charge $475 just to check for the leak that the gas company told me was there. Victor did not even look at the problem. I have called for plumbing problems before, and their pricing is unbelievable. I will not be calling roto rooter again.

The service was great. We called for an emergency repair and they arrived within 20 minutes. The problem was fixed quickly and we received quality work. The price was higher than expected since it was an emergency repair but worth the quality and service.

It was kind of expensive for the one thing that the guy did. He had to unclog the main line and it was $275, but he got the job done. He wanted to charge extra to fix the stuff we needed inside so we said no.

Made an appointment for a Saturday between the hours of 11am - 4pm and was told a technician would call 30 minutes prior to arrival. Saturday came and went and I'm still waiting....... really!!

Great service! Was expecting the plumber to arrive at 4:00/5:00 pm. Arrived earlier which was super convenient for myself and my tenants. Price was very good and within my range. Took less than 20 minutes to fix the kitchen sink which was the main problem.

Mr. Perez was extremely professional and knowledgeable. He politely explained our issue to us so we understood what he was going to do to fix it and how long it was going to take. I would recommend Roto Rooter based off my experience with Mr. Perez and the cost was definitely within reason.

I recently had my shower fixed, I thought I had a leak and comes to find out it was just my cartridge that needed to get replaced. The technician that showed up was very knowledgeable, professional and very into the job to help us get it resolved. We haven't used that shower in over 6 years due to thinking it was a major leak. Now we are able to use that shower thanks to the awesome work the technician did for us. We are very grateful and thankful!!

Roto-Rooter promptly reached out to me when they discovered I was unhappy with the outcome of my house call. They patiently listened to my concerns and went out of their way to correct the issue. I felt heard and they genuinely wanted to fix the issue without getting defensive which I really appreciated. They came out a second time and spent time clearing the roots to the best of their ability and to our satisfaction. Thank you to Gus Boyd for his excellent customer service and to Roto-rooter! The plumber did not clear the roots which was the reason for the house call. Then, technician # 283 quoted me for a job for $15,000+ and would not guarantee the incomplete work. We needed to have a new shutoff and water-line installed from the interior of our house through the roof to the swamp cooler. Roto-Rooter sent out Supv. J. Machado to do the work within a couple hours of our telephone call. He evaluated the work required, made a couple of additional suggestions and provided us with an estimated. Upon acceptance, Supv. Machado got to work and completed the job professionally and efficiently. His work was top notch and looked great!!! Supv. Machado was very professional and courteous and valued us as return customers. I highly recommend Roto-Rooter in El Paso, Texas, and would encourage anyone needing plumbing work done at their house to give them a call and ask for Supv. Machado to do the work.

Jose and Cesar at Roto-Rooter have proven to be my go-to problem-solvers for dealing with the plumbing issues in an older house. Professional, efficient, and reliable, they have worked to make our home a safe and comfortable place.

Needed to install a new bathroom faucet, which I do myself most times. Discovered I had the old style plastic shut-off valves which break since they're so old. Called Roto Rooter, they were there in about 30 minutes and replaced the valves and installed the faucet. Repairman wore a face cover and did a nice job. A little pricey, but you get what you pay for.

Fast response! My plumber was very friendly and very knowledgeable. He had a positive attitude even though it was past 8 at night. I highly recommend this company! My toilet was not draining properly and he started with the most cost effective plan first. Luckily for me it worked! The company gives a 10 day warranty on their work.

When you have an emergency and everyone seems booked it was a relief that someone came and fixed out back up so quickly.

We had an issue with our plumbing and had two other plumbers come in. The first couldn't do anything, the second did what he could and suggested to call Roto Rooter. They came in and found the problem quickly. They were a bit pricey but they got the job done within two days and we haven't had any problems since. Th hey are very knowledgeable and friendly.

I have used Roto-Rooter almost exclusively for the past 16 years. They have always done an excellent job and are always very professional. Steve showed up on time, reviewed the situation, and diagnosed my issue immediately. He explained the situation thoroughly and let me know what had to be done and how much it would be before performing any work. I really appreciated his knowledge and professionalism. I will definitely call Roto Rooter again if I have any further issues in the future and ask for Steve. The price was a little higher than other quotes I received, but the quality of service Steve provided made the additional money worth it.

Arrived during 2 hour window and called 15 minutes before to let me know they were on their way. Very professional. Quote given and job completed in a timely fashion.

Had an exterior pipe spring a leak near backyard faucet with irrigation system. One agent came out, and when the leak was located as part of irrigation system I asked him if we should just disconnect irrigation system as more trouble than worth. He showed me the problem, said he could fix the problem and didn't need to disconnect irrigation system. He fixed it and insulated the whole area of pipe, $240. Next weekend, another leak... new agent came out and was nice but could not find it and asked us to keep an eye out to see if the leak returned. Next morning we had evidence that it did, called them again. Sent a 3rd agent, charged us another $240 because a leak coincidentally had sprung in the same area just slightly below where the first leak had started, but was part of the irrigation connection i had asked the first agent about disconnecting (which 3rd agent did disconnect). All 3 agents were friendly, but the whole process was too expensive, and in the end, very frustrating.

Called Roto-Rooter to have the laundry drain cleaned out and the hoses to the washing machine to the water replaced. Asked to have the metal hoses used. they installed rubber hoses. The next day I noticed that the water was leaking from the faucet that the plumber had turned off to connect the hoses. He did not notice this and luckily I noticed it the next day, the water leaked for more than 15 hours. A lot of damage could have occurred if I would not have found the leak sooner. I turned off the faucet and now I need to call another plumber to come replace it. Not a happy customer.

Called the El Paso Sunland Park Roto-Rooter on a Saturday on very short notice as water from the toilet was backing up into the shower. They told us they would send someone within about 2 hours, but the plumber was already here within an hour! Arturo went right to work, worked really hard, even helped us find the buried sewer clean out pipe. He cleared the problem, and provided us with a 6 month labor warranty. Arturo was polite and professional. I highly recommend this particular Roto-Rooter.

Arturo responded the same day of my call. Explained what he would do & his findings clearly! Told us what to expect in the future if it continues to happen. Very satisfied!

Follow up to my original review; The local manager called me yesterday and fixed my complaint. I appreciated her attentiveness and I'll most likely continue to use this company well into the future.Thank you.I've used this company for years to do the same thing; we have an outside sewer line that has lots of tree growth above it and to avoid a disaster, every year we get our line cleaned out by Roto Rooter. Its strictly maintenance.When doing what we ask in past years, they do a great job. However, lately when we book our service, the cost is not available and they won't tell you until they've arrived. This year, the cost went up for essentially the same service by about double what we paid a year before.Combined with the STRONG UPSELL (we never agree to the other services they try and sell us every year) every time they came in to our home, it became to frustrating to deal with and spend the time to listen to their sales pitch, knowing we don't want or need it. And now, its become too expensive to afford this service from this company.Otherwise, they did a great job when they did what we wanted in years past.

Fernando and his partner came out to the house on the weekend to help with some unpleasant sewer drain back-up, and they discovered our sewer pipe had shifted and broken apart due to tree roots. My In-laws had a clogged drain in their kitchen. When roto-rooter finally showed up. they spent 15 minutes assessing the problem and then proceeded to tell the client that they had a collapsed drain and would need to tear up the floor to find the issue. needless to say we got a second opinion and found out that it was just clogged. Very unprofessional.

Phoned after hours, and the charge was high, however RR came very quickly and sent their very best. The guy they sent is a real good Plumber. He gave excellent customer service and did the job clean and efficiently and professionally well done.

Fernie was spot on in his assessment of what was wrong. The spout for the bathtub was not threaded properly and was corroded, hence the reason water was leaking through wall and landing on bottom ceiling. He replaced the spout and rethreaded the pipe to where it is connected properly inside the spout. He was professional, courteous and informed me of what he was going to do and followed through with his words, including 1 year warranty for work performed. I had a tankless water heater replaced with a new one and from what I observed the installation was very professional and the installers very knowledgeable and curtest. The problem I have is the labor charge. It took 2 installers 4 hours and I was charged Plumbing Labor $2,214.89 plus Plumbers Helper $260.00 plus Plumbing Parts $2,217.01. They moved many parts from the truck and laid them right outside the front door. When the job was finished they returned parts back to the truckplus they had to have added a markup on the new tankless heater. The cost of the plumbing parts don't bother me that much but I feel the labor cost was highway robbery. Labor $2,214.89 for 4 hours installation of a tankless water heater equates to $553.72 per hour. The installalation was A1 but labor cost was highway robbery.4260

Do not use this company, they will overcharge you to the extreme and are very dismissive of their clients. They came to my house, and after just listening to my description of the problem they determined it was the water regulator without even checking anything and quoted me $1800, I had a different plumber come out today who checked everything and determined it was my softener system and charged less than $100.

My kitchen sink was clogged BAD. He removed all the gunk and kept the space clean.

I called Roto-Rooter and they came the same day to look at my issue and gave me an estimate. Arturo was very nice and professional. He answered all my questions and got the job done well. I will be using Roto-Rooter and requesting Arturo for any future needs that I have with plumbing. Thank you!

Great service! Frank, our plumber, went above and beyond when it came to explaining our repair process. Work started immediately and we had running water by the time he left. We had been w/o running water for over a week. It's not cheap to fix a major plumbing repair but we felt the cost was reasonable. Thanks again Frank and the Roto Footer team.

All I wanted was to snake out a clog. That's when we learned that my pipes weren't vented properly. Actually had a hole in my roof where the vent should have been. Upon further inspection, found out the previous owners did a horrific plumbing job on the converted garage. And I mean bad. My toilet was connected directly to my shower! Ended up being an expensive fix, but definitely a necessary one. The plumbers were friendly, answered all of my questions, and let me ride shotgun while inspecting the pipes and doing the work. I learned a LOT. Definitely know what to look for when I eventually buy another house. They worked fast and efficiently. 3 days total, but that includes venting up to the roof, redoing pipe in the walls, and breaking through the foundation to correct and lay new pipes under the house. Cleaned up, no mess when they were done. Highly, highly, highly recommend.

We called them because our water bill trippled and we were not sure why. He showed up, charged us $140 for the visit. He told us we don’t have a water pressure regulator but needed one desperately. He said this costs thousands of dollars but he'd give us a deal, only $1300.My husband found the regulator this morning. He replaced it for $40.We still don't know why our water bill is so high. Don't waste your money on people that want to scam you.

I really appreciate the Water Damage and Restoration team that we had. (Zach, Alfred, Jim, and Luigie). They were quick to respond and was at the house within 30 mins of calling the company. (This happened about 5AM.) They were amazing to work with. They made my life a little easy during this difficult time. Zach helped with filing a home owner insurance claim and the rest of the crew help moved things into the garage. They went above and beyond their job to help make this a smooth and stress-free process. Before they closed out the job, they left our home in a clean as possible state. I would recommend this crew to anyone who needs help with water damage and restoration.Side note- My husband had called another company first but it was 4 1/2 hours later before they even got back to us. So Roto-Rooter should be everyone's first choice.

I own a home built in 1932 and the iron sewer pipe has never been replaced. There was a leak in the pipe adjacent to the house. The technicians were knowledgable, courteous, and serviced the outside pipe in 103 degree heat until it was unclogged. Highly recommend Roto-Rooter and will call them again, if needed!

I called Roto-rooted because I was willing to pay a little more for a job professionally done. The guy charged me $300 for installing a $200 faucet. He was not prepared with the material and told me if I wanted for him to finish the job, he would have to charge me more to go get the part and install. Now I'm left finding the part and installing myself! Rip off!!!!!!

We've used roto several times over the past few years. I've found that they are rarely the cheapest or most knowledgeable, but they are reliable. For small repairs it's nice that they are available at all times and always send someone quickly. For bigger stuff they usually charge a lot more than other plumbers and it's luck of the draw if you get someone experienced or not.

Roto-Rooter answered and set up an appointment the same day to ensure the water stopped running in the house. They spent the next 2 days assuring me that they would take care of everything. They were very careful with my personal items and did an amazing job with fixing the leak and getting the house dried out. They came back to the house daily until everything was dry and they treated the house to ensure I did not get mold in the house. I am grateful for the work they did in the house. They are a little pricey but sometimes you get what you pay for, and I paid for peace of mind. Thank you for your kindness and excellent customer service.

It was a hard job to replace corroded lines in a caddy corner sink but Arnulfo did an excellent job. Explained work warranty and everything well and cleaned everything up. Excellent and fast service by the company and their technician. Just based on those factors, I’d rate them a 5 star. However, all they did was replace a small section of copper pipe with a rubber one, and the elbow joint it was connected to. I already had identified where the leak was and removed the drywall. Yet the cost, for a hour of work was $500. Home advisor says the average cost to repair a leaking pipe was between $150-$350, so knocking off a few stars for what seems to be overpricing. — Edit, the day after posting the above review, a manager contacted me and discussed the price, and dropped it much closer to the home advisor range (still above but close). Improved my rating to 4 out of 5. A little expensive, but comes with a quality guarantee of working with a great established and trusted outfit. Thanks guys, will use you again in the future.

Great service, a little expensive

We had had a frequent issue for many years where the kitchen sink and the drain in the laundry room would clog and backup. For years we had hire local plumbers, never Roto-Rooter, to unclog the sink and the drain. This was good a few months and the problem would revisit us. From when we contacted Roto Rooter and dealt with Jesse, everything was explained and physically observed (scoping) from start to finished. Initially, they tried their best to clear the plumbing in these areas but once it was visually determined, (we saw it) that the problem was years of grease build-up in rock form, we knew we were in trouble. I am not gonna lie, when we were given the diagnose and the cost to fix it, our hearts went through the floor. These are not easy times for God's sake! Nonetheless, once we recouped, we decided to listen and trust Jesse; a 4 foot part of our tile floor would be dug up, cut out the pipe, and add a new pipe in its place. Needless to say and to our horror, the clog was also further along towards the main into the street sewer. We could NOT locate any clean-outs outside our house so it was decided that we needed to dig up a 4 1/2 foot hole to get to the ABS main that drains into the sewer which is clay. We opted NOT to go the easy and less expensive way, meaning we could encounter issues in the near future. The work was entirely performed by two outstanding professionals; Arnie Martinez and Richard Elano. These two gentlemen were great. My wife and I were asking all kinds of questions throughout the process of the project which took about 3 days (the weekend got in the way) and never did they show signs of agitation or that we were annoying. Both were always very willing to explain and answer our questions. Arnie and Richard worked in synchrony and you understood they knew their stuff. They help us understand the issues involved and educated my wife and I. Other than being so well versed in what they were doing, they were so organized, clean and often with a smile and humor. We had one hell of an experience with this unexpected turn but, if I had to do it again, I would want people like Jesse, Arnie, and Richard to be there to lessen our apprehension. I am very pleased with the service from Roto Rooter. There was a leak in one of our bathrooms and I loved that they were able to send someone the same day. I didn’t know we could do a claim to the insurance for water damage. Zach Crawford, Water Restoration Manager, was very thorough and explained all the process and even helped me file the claim with the insurance.

Tub and shower water wouldn't drain and the toilets wouldn't flush. In the late morning I called Roto Rooter who assured me they knew how to work with septic systems. They came in the early afternoon and got everything fixed in an hour including video verification. They're more expensive but they have excellent equipment and work competently and quickly.

These people are very professional and extremely proficient at their job. I am thoroughly happy with the repairs they made in an emergency situation. I highly recommend them.

You get what you pay for, they are not the cheapest in the city, however they will provide an excellent service! I've had a couple of backed up lines as well as a backed up sink. They will come out pretty quick and have a 6 month guarantee that makes you feel your money is well spent. They come out and diagnose the problem for free and give you a quote then and there. If you can afford them I highly recommend them!

The technician, Phillip was precise on the issue of concern. He took care of a root problem growing into the toilet flange. Home was built in 89 and there are trees all around. He assessed the problem in less than 5 minutes and did the repair in about 30 min. total. He was very courteous and professional. The job was clean as can be. Excellent quality work. He made me aware of every step along this process as he was performing the work. He walked me step by step if this then that, if that then maybe this, etc. Luckily as soon as he removed the toilet he was able to diagnose and worse case scenario was eliminated. He put me at ease. Other locals charge by the hour and scare you with all kinds of tactics to include breaking ground and excavating and rebuilding and and and...I love that they give you a free estimate, they have flat rates, and if you do not want the work done there is no charge. We called Roto Rooter on a Saturday afternoon after my son had called three plumbers and did not receive a response; he didn't realize they were closed for the weekend.When I called R R, Nancy answered the phone, she is so sweet and she has the perfect personality to represent the company. She explained the process and said the guys would call when they were on their way. I can't tell you how nice it is to have a company who does what they say they will and arrive within the time frame they tell you they will.Luigi, Alfred and Jim came in and assessed the plumbing situation. The repair was done quickly and the bill was reasonable. Alfred informed us that they also have a water restoration team and would I like him to call them? I'm sure that I could have scoured the yellow pages and read reviews but calling their team was so convenient.Zack arrived and got to work checking the insurance policy and calling the insurance company about the coverage and the deductible. Zack explained the procedure, what the deductible would be and we even listened in to his conversation with the insurance company.The guys lifted the carpet, removed the wet padding, removed baseboards and wet drywall then they sprayed an antibacterial on the wet areas. They set up the fans under the carpet and against the wet walls and in the closet. Every day we received a call so the crew could come over and check the machines and the humidity levels in the house.The crew was so nice and friendly, they were efficient and they did a great job. I have used Roto-Rooter several times through the years and I will continue to do so.

I had another plumber come 2 times to fix my kitchen sink from backing up. When I called them again, they suggested Roto-Rooter to check the line with a camera,. Rotor-Rooter came out the same day and checked my line, and also the Dirty Arm right before the P-Trap and found s piece of metal that was clogging the drain! Simple solution, the first plumber should have found it easily. I have a new plumber now!

WTH! $300.00 just to unclog toilet paper from my clear PVC main line! Used a 1/2 “ cable from a clean out in my bathroom. I just bought this newly remodeled westside home several months ago and now I need to get my master bath room repainted because the tech. stained, scuffed and damaged my wall, door and door posts with his cable and camera line which he withdrew from the sewer line all over my marble floor. Rather than rewinding back into his machine he spent 20 min. Untangling the two lines banging against my wall and door. Spent most of the time looking for an outside clean out through his camera and locator which was never located. A basic paper clog which should have taken less than an hour took several hours and $300.00 is ridiculous.

Roto Rooter are very efficient and they come to take care of business! We had hired 2 plumbers before but unfortunately our issue was a bigger problem. Roto Rooter came out and showed us with their camera and their water pressure equipment how our sewage pipe had been broken and an obstruction in the way. At&t had come months before to dig their fiber optic cables and they ruined our pipes. We would've never known this if we wouldn't have hired Roto Rooter. When I called in to schedule a plumber to come out, I was told a plumber would be on site in approximately 2 hours. Thirty minutes later, Lupe arrives! He cleared the blockage and ran a camera down through the line to show us where the problem was in my sewer line. Lupe explained how this problem occurs and how it needs to be fixed and I know nothing about plumbing. Awesome job, awesome response time, and an awesome plumber! What a relief that there is a plumbing company who will come out to solve your plumbing problems at 8:00 p.m. on a Saturday night!

The two gentlemen who worked on this project went above and beyond to find and repair my leak. The pipes were much deeper in the ground than usual so the project took them all day. They kept me informed throughout the process and were so pleasant throughout the day.
