Best Backflow Installation in Detroit MI

I attempted to call to get a quote. I was directed to the man who would be doing the quote since they said he did his own scheduling. I never heard back after leaving a message and then called the office again; they said it was strange and that he usually returns all calls. They took my information an assured me that they would make sure I was contacted, that never happened and it has been over 2 weeks. It's safe to say that I will never be using Nelson Bros. EDIT: This was a month before any pandemic lockdowns unlike what they are trying to play it off as.

The annual inspection of the backflow valve on the boiler at The Christian Community.The appointment was easy to arrange. The work was done efficiently and on schedule. We had been told last year that the valve would probably need work. Events proved that assessment correct, and we had the valve repaired. This was done at well below the estimated price. We are grateful to Cregger for having found a way to do this for us.This year, everything worked perfectly. We are grateful for the work that was done last year, and for the quick and efficient visit this year.

Not sure where to start with this review. But I have a home warranty thru Homeshield. And about a week ago my hot water tank died on me. They sent someone out from Home service Corp to inspect it and confirm that we needed a new. We did. Now here is where the fun starts. Homeshield would cover the cost of the new hot water tank and the install, but we were being told we'd be on the hook for another $1100 worth of updates in order to install a new tank. Not knowing much about the install process we asked our normal licensed plumber to come by and take a look at it. He informed us that NO updates were necessary. So now feeling like Home Service might be trying to get over on us we started inspecting all the prices they were giving us for things. They wanted to charge $150 to get a permit from the city of Detroit to do the install. I called down to the city and was informed it's $30 for permit and another $50 to file. So where is the other $70 coming from? When we called to ask about the additional unnecessary cost we had the pleasure of speaking to Ross who could not explain his company trying to over charge people, but simply told us you know you got other options. So that's exactly what we did. Bought the hot water tank out of pocket and had our regular plumber install it all which was still less than the $1100 in updates they wanted to charge. I plan on reaching out to DTE as well because I see they promote these con artist. You've been warned. Stay clear of these crooks that look to rob you in your time of need.

As a note, this is during the outbreak of COVID19. My water heater broke down and both myself and my girlfriend were currently working. So cold showers were not welcome after/before long shifts at the veterinary hospital. I called over to Levine & Sons as a first time customer. I was immediately helped and my questions were answered. They even told me that someone could be over in an hour to take a look. It was slightly less than an hour before Jay arrived. He practiced social distancing and was appropriately protected. He quickly got to the issue at hand and dealt with my home warranty company. My tank is already filled and warming up as I am writing this (It is already warmer than it was). I very much appreciate the help you have given me.Edit: Had a different issue (furnace stopped heating). Called tonight and was able to have a wonderful technician (Winston) come out and replace a ignition element that had blown. Might have been a 20min call max. Quick, efficient and a good guy. I will continue to use Levine and Sons due to their good quality service and high quality employees.
