Extremely unprofessional. Used bison plumbing for a large bathroom renovation. Plumbers smoked cigarettes all day, taking breaks and leaving butts outside of our house with no clean up. Walking in and out of our home with shoes on and no shoe covers. Took a very long time to complete the job (re plumbing three bathrooms). Since the job was completed we have had two leaks. The first one, plumber (ray) said they forgot to glue a pipe and that he was not taking blame for it, was someone elses fault. Second time I called the office and the manager Vern Labrake was extremely rude to me. He said he spoke to my husband and “my husband should come into the office and face him man to man”. He then hung up on me. I called back and he said he purposely hung up the phone on me and it’s too bad I have to wait until next week to have someone come fix it. We have spent a ton of money at bison plumbing and it has been nothing but problems. I am wondering what else they messed up on? What leak will happen next? We would have never found the first leak if we werent finishing our basement.

I used the company to provide me with a last minute urgent sewer scope that I needed for a home inspection. They had the best rate that I found after calling about 6 other local businesses. They even fit me in the same day. Even though the news that they gave me was bad news, they were honest and informative. I appreciate the professionalism and courtesy nature in which they delivered the information needed. The two workers were kind and took their time to do what they could to provide me with the best estimate of damage possible. I am appreciative of their service and will use this company again if I ever have plumbing needs in the future!

Our basement is flooded due to storm drain that got blocked. They came on time and made the job efficiently. Have no doubt that I will call them again and recommend to my friends.

Our main line was backed up and a toilet was clogged. They gave us a 1:00-3:00 window and were out by 1:45 with both issues resolved and warrantied. They were polite, clean, and the cost was exactly as expected.

When the gas fireplaces in my new house were deemed safety hazards and needed to be capped, I called a few highly-rated plumbing companies for estimates and Bison was the only one willing to come out and not charge me to do it. ($125 for a 5 minute look?! Seriously?!) Vern was quick and professional with the estimate and answered all of my questions. The quote was reasonable and Joe was out to do the work a few days later. Both were professional and very nice. Thank you, Bison! I feel safer already. I highly recommend them.

We had Josh H as our main tech. The first day, Ben assisted with digging a hole in basement floor and removal of dirt. The next day, Josh, Jay, and Jeff came to insert a liner into our cracked pipes, add resin, and cure it. The last day was Josh and Jay to refill hole and recement the area. All of these gentlemen were professional and respectful. They answered all my questions and allowed me to inspect from time to time the progress of this project. They were respectful of our property when bringing equipment in and out of our home. They cleaned up the area beautifully, even wiping down areas on walls where mud had splashed. We would highly recommend Bison for repairs of plumbing issues!

Job done well but Not easy talking with. The manager threaten to stop the job halfway and let me pay for what they've done. I simply asked why the old sewer pipe was 3 inches now use only 2 inches pipe.

Everything you hope for in a plumbing experience!! I must admit, my family and I were very worried about having some pretty major work done (floor break, pipe replacement, re-routing some lines). We got some estimates and Bison was, by far, the least expensive. The cost of the entire job was about HALF of what other companies were going to charge!With regard to service, all I can say is AMAZING!! We moved into a home we just purchased that turned out to have galvanized pipes, filled with rust. Our hot water heater was newer, but filled with rust as well. Vern promptly came out, diagnosed the problem, and worked closely with the home warranty company and I to get an assessment. He, and the company were attentive and helpful in working with us and the home warranty company. The service by Josh and his crew was professional and clean. Completely disappointed had two guys come out and quote me a job for a RIDICULOUS $650 wouldn't even call the office to see if there was any openings any earlier than the day they said they could come back out, which was another four days of waiting to get the problem fixed, had another company come in the same day job done for $125.

The guys that came to my house were very polite and very knowledgeable. I’ve had other plumbing companies in the past come to my home to install faucets and they did not install them correctly. Bison always does a great job!

Great Service great prices. Woke up this morning to water all over the basement called Bison Plumbing in Centerline talk to May on the phone and she said she get someone over there soon as possible maybe even as soon as 10 a.m. and then right at 10 a.m. guess what by some Plumbing pulled up in front of my house ready to go to work came downstairs see what a mess I had so don't worry give us 15 minutes and all this water will be gone I looked at him and I thought there's no way possible 15 minutes late all the water was drained out of the basement floor. VERN and Dave were very polite and offered to help me even more . Great prices. Da best plumbing company charges me 3 times as much and didn't even fix it right.

I have used Bison to install a dishwasher and have previously used them for a hot water tank installation. They are professional, reasonably priced and very efficient. I have and would reccomend them for any plumbing needs.

called for a scope of the main line to the city sewer on a house i was looking to purchase. They showed up on time as scheduled. Very professional and explained everything as they were doing the job. Bison replaced the entire sewer line to my mother-in-laws house. They were extremely professional, on time, and on budget. We had a few estimates but Bison's quote was literally No Bull. We had a street in Birmingham blocked for about 10 hours but they were courteous to the neighbors. They come with my highest recommendation. They worked with the city to protect an old tree and developed a creative solution to our problem. My daughter used them to inspect the sewer lines on a couple of houses she was planning to buy. In one case they couldn't get the camera all the way to the main because of root infiltration. That potentially saved her tens of thousands of dollars. Highest recommendation!!!

I have to have them out every now and then because I have roots growing into the drain pipes at the city junction under the street, city says it is my job to fix because it is at the junction and to replace it we need city permits and to have the street pulled up, so ya that would be city pricing and I am not going to do that. So I have bison come out every now and then to clean the pipe and they are normally really good on timeing and pretty quick.Also just had to have them out to help with the storm drain, guy was really good at explaining what happened and what I will want to do in the future.

These guys were the best. I had a recurring issue with backups in my main sewer line that no one was able to get. I used to use a company at the end of my street, but after repeated calls, over charging, no warranty / guaranty, and straight up rudeness, I had to find another company. Boy was I glad I did. That other company will never see me again...Bison did what the other guys would not, which was to actually care that I was cleared up to the main city line. He snaked, used the camera, snaked, camera again, snaked snaked snaked, until the issue was resolved and the pipe was as good as new... and then sent in the camera again so I could see the results.Did I mention they cost a heck of a lot less than the other guy too? He even explained to me that the Pitch of the line that was put in by the other company was off and showed me an issue of standing water in the line.Thank you Bison!!

Had Bison plumbing install 2 faucets and repair 2 toilets, Patrick completed the work, was very knowledgeable and explained each requirement and charge as he completed the job. He did excellent work and assured me if I had any issues they would come back within 30 days and repair any issues free of charge. It has been 48 hours and no issues. I would highly recommend Bison if you are looking for timely and quality plumbing.

I just want to say thank you to Bison plumbing for the honesty and integrity of the guys you have working for you. I had to make 2 service calls the first was to fix an issue another company didn’t. RJ and Daniel were able to locate and snake our sewer line that was backed up so we could at least use our toilet and shower again. There was still a giant root mass that was stuck in the line and I set up an appointment next day to have a hydrojetting completed several days later. Rick and Vong came to do the hydrojetting and answered every question I had from the beginning to end, showed me exactly what was happening in the line and the completed process at the end. There was no pushing services that were absolutely unnecessary and they were humble the entire time. Again; RJ, Daniel, Rick and Vong, awesome job and keep up the good work!

Ray & Jay from Bison came out to fix a serious water leak for my elderly father & to do some basic plumbing as well. Both were respectful, friendly, & patient & they each had a wonderful sense of humor which helped make this the best plumbing experience I've ever had! Which; if you've had the luck I've had with plumbers; is really saying something! These two gentlemen however, were professional, didn't mind answering my questions, & they left little mess, if any, for me to clean up which was a true blessing since I'm disabled. When Ray handed me the bill, I WAS FLOORED!! It was much less than what I was expecting. What a great surprise! I know without a doubt who I'll recommend next time anyone asks me if I know of a good plumber. I'll tell them Bison Plumbing, HANDS DOWN!!

Best prices in Macomb County. We had a job that we had put off that was on our house inspection and we finally wanted to get it done so I started calling plumbers. We got 4 estimates for the same job, I didn't tell any of the plumbers the prices we were quoted because I wanted an honest quote and Bison came in the lowest. When the plumber came for the quote he was running late from finishing a job at another site he made up for it by being courteous and he even gave me a card waiving the service fee if we hired them for the job. I've talked a lot about pricing but the quality of work was excellent as well. The plumber arrived on time, laid out sheets on the floor to not track in mud, he wore a mask and didn't even ask if he had to (I personally don't care but I know some do). The work he did was perfect. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who needs a quality job done at a price that won't drain your wallet.

Bison Plumbing was fantastic. I had them out twice in less than a month. Once for a leaky shower and once for a gas leak on my stove. They took care of both issues without incident and I'm now water and gas leak free! They didn't try to up sell me and their prices are very reasonable and fair and I will continue using them for any plumbing needs I may have in the future. I'm just sad I didn't know about them when I had my hot water tank replaced 6 months ago because I would have totally used them for that as well.

Pat came to look at my slow drain. It was something going on below the floor in the basement. He ran a camera down there to no avail. Then he tried to snake it with little success. Then he ran the camera again. I am going to need some work done under the floor. Pat explained everything to me and answered all of my questions. I am quite pleased with all of his efforts. They were on time. I left a list of things that needed fixed or checked on. My main issue they couldn't resolve immediately. They removed my basement toilet cleaned drain and replaced with a toilet I had outside but tells me it might leak so I ask why and response is the seal may be dry. I don't understand why you wouldn't install a new wax ring anyways.mind no attempt to clean tank of debris. Proceed to say rebuild toilet for no reason toilet just got pulled off upstairs. Asked to clear the drains in basement also and maybe they did one of two but one is still clogged with dirt with no attempt to clear out. My charges are as follows for what literally should be taking a toilet off clearing the drain and installing My other toilet with a new wax ring and clearing out 2 floor drains in basement. 45.00 service charge 265.00 pull and snake toilet 170.00 supply wax bolts and supplies remove and leave old toilet 65.00 snake out Basement drain 195.00 toilet rebuild total 740.00. take it for what you see there's definitely no reason for this. I left message for owner to contact me obviously they're in no hurry. I wish I could provide pictures of the job and the scratches on my wall. watch your back people and don't trust them make sure to check with other plumbing companies. Thanks and enjoy what you already got my other 6 plumbing jobs with be provided to your competitors. Expect reviews anywhere I can and a bbb complaint.

I woke up to my basement flooded. I called Bison to see if they could snake a drain, they fit me in same day on therir schedule but I wasn't expecting them too so that awesome. I've been having flooding issues for a while.older home. Decided that it was time to have the problem fixed once and for all. Bison gave me a very good quote. They spent 10 hours breaking up my cement basement floor, dug out out a huge trench,. Broke up the bad pipes and replaced with good pipes. All the while the employee Dave was very pleasant and professional. So refreshing!!!! I'm not sure how I found Bison but I'm glad I did as I've been using them for a couple years and will recommend then to anyone looking for a good local plumber!!!

Would have given them 5 stars but couldn't.Rescheduling an appointment is understandable. But when you reschedule, and are 2 to 3 hours late for the appointment you rescheduled without calling. I have an issue with that. The repairs that were completed were done properly and I believe at a fair price.The work I refused to have completed was replacing a kitchen sink strainer to the tune of $180.00. I think that was a little outrageous seeing as how they were already on site.

This is the first time I had to call a plumber and decided to give them a try based on the Facebook, Google and Yelp reviews. They showed up promptly and had my slow bathroom drain snaked and flowing again in under an hour for $65.

I called 5 different plumbing companies, who nickel and dimed me about estimates on my sewer drain. Bison was my last call. Pat came out and was very explanatory and detailed about our problem. We received a fair quote and within a couple of weeks, Josh and his crew came out. Josh was absolutely fantastic. Rick and the rest of the crew was friendly and detailed as well. They worked fast, professionally, and replaced our sewer line, put the dirt back in the ground, and cleaned our backyard.My husband told Josh and Rick they had a really tight crew and their work ethic was phenomenal. Their trucks and equipment was clean and impressive upon arrival.The reviews about this company led me to take a chance and make a call. I don’t leave reviews, but this company and my experience compelled me to do so. My husband and I are so happy we went with Bison. My neighbors came over and even complimented how fast and professional they were. My street is plagued with plumbing issues and different companies come and go. My neighbors asked us what we thought and we told them “We highly recommend them, refer them, and we are staying with them”.

Great team, knowledgeable and polite. Had a clogged drain in the basement which we found out as our washing machine was being installed and ran for the first time. My wife and I are expecting next month and we need to get our baby clothes washed ASAP. These guys came to the rescue SAME DAY and were more than reasonably priced. So happy with our service!

The results of our sewer test were shocking and disappointing, but the test will have saved us a lot of heartache with a lemon of a house we could have purchased, down the road. I came home from a trip to find that my basement drains had started to back up. A call to Bison was all it took to get someone out quickly to snake the drains and do a camera check to find roots had grown into the line. While the snaking was enough to get the water flowing again, they gave me a couple options with quotes and the time to review my options without feeling rushed. They were very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. I thought about it and called again to complete the hydro jetting service to clear the line of roots. The service techs were polite, professional, and very thorough with their work. I was happy to see how effectively the hydro jetting cleaned the line free of roots and debris. I would not hesitate to use Bison Plumbing again for any of my plumbing needs.

I will forever use this company!!! I had another plumber out the same day that charged me 3 times the amount for the same work. And wasn’t able to “fix” the problem. The other company flat out lied about the cost of the camera they use to maneuver thru the pipes, saying that’s why they weren’t able to properly diagnose the issue. I was told they would have to send another technician out with the camera at my cost. Every truck/technician at Bison has one on board allowing them to diagnose & fix the problem.Bison is trustworthy, knowledgeable & fairly priced. I would highly recommend this company! Service tech showed up right on time. He was knowledgeable, answered all my questions. They had all the parts right with them. Not like other guys I used, they had to go out for parts and you pay for their time doing it! Tech cleaned up after he was done. The price was very fair. He even fixed my repairs. Glad I called, he even saved me from a potential disaster. Replace those plastic lines! Weather is getting warmer and the outside faucets started to thaw and leaking ever so slightly. We could hear it hissing but couldn't find. technician did. Can't wait till I get the bill from the water department.

I was having a shower diverter replaced. Joe & his assistant were very professional, let me know what they had to do to complete the job, and were conscious of my home. They had to remove some basement ceiling tiles to access the plumbing. They did such a great job in taking out the tiles that I could put them right back in, didn't have to buy replacement tiles. I also liked that the receipt was itemized.

When bath tub and vanity drains weren't draining properly, Even after spending a few hours on them myself. I searched and found Bison on line offering $65.00 drain cleaning. A year ago I had kitchen stack cleaned for just under $300.00 by a rooter company. Skeptical at first , ( what's the catch ) I wasn't later when RJ and Evan showed up when promised and did a great job. Both professional, personable and knowledgeable, answering all the questions I had. Even explaining what needed to be done in the future to completely rectify the tub not draining properly. They were not pushy to try and sell me that repair and that was greatly appreciated. If you want your job done right at a totally fair price. Don't hesitate to give Bison a call. You won't be sorry.

We purchased a new gas dryer and needed to have an old copper gas supply line replaced. I called on Thursday morning and scheduled an appt for Monday, but due to a cancellation they were able to do the work right away!! The work was completed in an hour and everything is up to code now. Called BISONS because of their FREE estimates. They were able to send Pat over the following week. I showed him what we needed done: bathroom sink, bathtub fixtures, bathtub drain, previous pipe work from another plumber when the tub pipe burst years ago that needs fixing, basement toilet and laundry room sink....and front outside spicket. Attempted to install new toilet but kept leaking after second attempt the plumber inspected the underside of toilet and found hairline crack. Plumber helped owner load toilet into car and owner returned it to Lowe’s. The plumber was very professional and polite. Bison Plumbing will always be my plumber.

My sewer drain was clogged, so when we flushed the toilet it was backing up in the basement. I got a recommendation from someone for a different plumber that I called & left messages with, but never got a return call. I googled online to find someone fast and came across Bison Plumbing (luckily)😊 Someone answered right away and was able to have someone come out within a few hours. As soon as they got here they got right to work and recognized the issue right away and had it fixed very quickly. They are super reasonable with pricing (only $65 is the total cost I paid). We had Bison come out and address some basement issues we were having. They honored a quote that was almost two years old without raising the price, which was pleasantly surprising to me. Prices go up and I figure the job would have to be re-quoted, but they stuck to the original price. Also, the job was the sort where you don't know how much work needs to be done until the floor is broken up, so we were sort of 'at their mercy' as far as the extent of the work and the final cost, but they finished the job while sticking to the lowest number within the range of the quote! The are honest guys, which is what is most important when picking a contractor. I'd use them again for sure!

We used Bison to get a second opinion on a major plumbing repair and were beyond happy with how honest and thorough the service was. Rick used a camera on the pipes under our house and to the main sewer line and showed us where the problem areas were. We will definitely be using Bison for all of our plumbing needs in the future, and will be using them in the spring for our major repairs.

We had a pretty major sewer/water back-up in our basement following some recent storms and we called a different plumber out first who tried to snake, said it wouldn’t go through and that we probably need to break through the concrete, never checked the clean-out, and then charged us $200 for basically doing nothing. After he left, water was still coming up, nothing was fixed, and we continued have to use a wet vac to suck up practically 700 gallons of water. The next day we called Bison, they sent Vern out who solved the problem in under 30 minutes and charged us half of what the other guy did. Will definitely be calling Bison only from here on out.

Had some Major sanitary line problems. Tree roots infested my old crock pipe and was separated due to some shifting that occurred. Had Bison out and they repaired and replaced my entire line after i fired the first company i hured. Every guy they had out here was courteous, polite and informative to any questions I asked. Great bunch of guys. Including the owner. Did not quit till the job was done and cleaned up their mess. Ray is the only name I remember, (smart dude) but every single one of the guys that were here were excellent!! Job well done fellas. I appreciate all you's did for us.

Bison called the day before to say they'd arrive between noon and 2 pm. On the service day, they called again to say they'd arrive within a half hour. They arrived 25 minutes later, at 12:10, and worked their snake for a solid hour, penetrating 75 to 80 feet with a 3 cutter head and removed enough roots to fill a 5 gal bucket. The 2 man team, Vern and Daniel, were professional but friendly. I definitely got my money's worth. Thanks, Bison!

I had nothing but a 5 star experience from Rick and his crew over the last 3 days they were at my house replacing the entirety of my sewer lines underneath my basement floor. I was told by 2 other companies that I would need to get water jetting done, but my third opinion from Rick at Bison, he strongly suggested I go for a complete replacement instead after I showed him a camera video done by a different provider. He could have just done the water jetting to get more money out of me, but the honesty shines here. He immediately identified clear signs of the section of pipe being broken where the other providers missed it completely. Given the age of the house, I trusted him and opted to just replace everything. I am extremely glad I did. As seen in the picture, the old cast iron pipes were just about split in half. I have no idea how long they were like that but, what a relief to get everything replaced. All in all, the guys were very polite and professional, answered any questions I had, and clearly knew what they were doing. All of this at a very fair price. I won't be using any other than Bison for my future plumbing needs.

Rick from Bison was amazing, even after snowing and flooding, him and his team was able to hydrojet my outdoor drain. They initially used a camera to find that there were roots cloggin the drain. When the weather was better, they were able to hydrojet the roots out and more flooding even after the March showers. Thanks again Team Bison for helping my family and neighbors out. They're only plumbing company I would go to.

Chris and Vong came out to snake my main drain and cleared the blockage and let me know my other floor drain was draining slowly so they cleared that one as well. They were efficient, kind, and informative. I’m so relieved both drains are cleared and working without costing an arm and a leg! I would definitely recommend them and use them in the future!

Two gentlemen arrived and were very professional while repairing the tank seal gasket, flloat system, and filler of my Kohler toilet. It took about 45 minutes to an hour, and the price was reasonable.
I will call this company again if I need them.

Can’t say enough about Bison Plumbing, recently had technicians Rick and Ben out to fix a drain that was clogged in my basement bathroom. They were awesome, super knowledgeable and were thorough in making sure everything was in working order after completing the job. They took the time to explain everything they did and made sure it was done the proper way. I recently had another plumbing company come out to fix that same drain, but were unsuccessful. I ended up having water back up into my basement because of it. I was out $160 and that company didn’t back their work or offer to look into it further. Luckily, I had Bison to fix the issue, and they back their work for 30 days! Awesome, reputable company!

I had a sump pump drain clogged outside. I called two companies figuring I will get two opinions. Hoover electric and plumbing came out and told me that my drain was not installed correctly and that I would need to dig out 92 feet of the old one and replace it with a new one. The cost would be $9,500.00 and I need to do it asap. Than Bison plumbing comes out and runs a snake through the drain and clears some dirt and leaves where the drain dumps into the ditch. Problem solved for $110.00.

We recently had some water in our basement early morning hours. We called multiple places (not Bison!) and was able to get someone to come out. Long story short, they wanted to jackhammer up our basement for a cracked pipe, but they had already packed up the camera so we couldn’t see the cracked pipe. It didn’t sound right to my husband and I, so we didn’t do it. While dealing with the plumber we called the City of Warren. When they city came out, we were given a list of plumbers and the guy said “Call one of these guys. We work with them all the time, and they will not rip you off.”. We felt if the city was willing to recommend a company, they must work with them regularly and do good work.We wanted to get a second opinion on the pipe, so we called Bison. The guy my husband spoke to was very nice. They had Saturday hours so we were able to have them out at a time that was good for us, and it wasn’t considered an emergency service. Bonus! Two techs came to the house, I wish I knew their names, but they were great. They got to work right away putting a camera down a few of the clean-outs in the basement. Within a few moments they said “I don’t see a crack. Your pipes are in really good shape.”. They explained everything we were seeing on the camera, what type of pipes are in our house and area, and how we have a tie-in with our neighbors. Both techs almost immediately said what the other plumber told us was wrong and if there was a crack, they should have shown it to us on the camera.These two professionals gave us peace of mind that our original decision was correct. Then we felt a bit mad that we were about to get ripped off by the other guys. Lol It is nice to know that we now have a plumber when we need one and we feel we can trust them, and they are not just trying to make a buck off of us. I will recommend them to anyone I know needing a plumber.

**Update** The company reached out to me very concerned about my experience wanted to know more and offered a full refund. I understand that cant control or know everything every employee does so my experience with the worker wasnt so well but once they found out they made everything right. I would give them another chance if I have another issue, as the office personal was very professional and concerned over my experienceCame out charged me 110 dollars to tell me I'd have to bust up my drive way that they can't get a 1/2 x 12 stick out my clean out called another plumber Tri County drain and sewer he came out spent 20 mins and with a retriever end on his snake got it out on top of that he charged $90 ran a cam behind it to show me. I wouldn't use them again they were located near by and figured they were good, seeing they had quite a few trucks and a nice size office building, unfortunately there building and trucks were the only impressive thing

We had a backup in all of our lines over the weekend. Had heard amazing things about this business so we called them first thing Monday morning. They were out by noon and had the problem fixed in less than an hour. They were professional, friendly and honest! Have never had better service!

would give zero if possible. Wasted a lot of our time. Dont let the big fella quote your house he DOES NOT know what he's doing. Waited weeks for service after quote.. plubers come out find out quote is inaccurate becuase of quoter. Want to go into floor and wall, i say can't do that wasnt quoted for that. Guy hangs up on me. I try and call back and dude threatens to and actually calls cops on me.. tells me he has 12 years as supervisor and is friends with owner so nothing will happen for me.. i just want him to own not being able to do his job. Ive scheduled a stand by with an officer to escort me to talk to the owner sooner than later. Will update post then.Until then please consider more knowledgeable and honest plumbing alternativesUpdate..although our conversation wasnt civil i didnt threaten anyone.. i simply said if you supervisor was insisting on preventing me from talking to an owner about my bad experience and his inability to quote a job correctly thats on you guys.. i mean your slogan is no bull but read your reply.. thats all you give.. you can't even own screwing up a quote on a 2100$ plus job.. the loss falls solely on you.. and in todays climate i cant imagine a company being arrogant enough to think pride and cusotmer service is a non issue. To think this person called a plumber and has no plumbing knowledge and you quote a job and come back with a diffrent plan all together. Good luck with that business model.. and good luck sheltering your bad employees.

This is a great company. The phone rep. was very courteous and scheduled the service call for the next day. They company texted me on the day of the appointment to let me know the service technician was on his way, and included a photo of him. The service technician and his partner were extremely professional. They cleared the tree roots from the basement drain and told me about ways to discourage the problem from happening again. The price was reasonable and they also have a 30-day guarantee on their work - if the problem reoccurs within 30 days, they will make another service call for free. I am very pleased. I will definitely use them again and would highly recommend them.

I saw these guys working across the street from the place I'm trying to move into, and asked if they could come check the plumbing. They set it up for a couple weeks later, and BAM...they showed up on time and ready to fix everything! They fixed the janky a$$, wobbly, leant toilet in record time, but couldn't do anything about the sink in the kitchen. The drain is constructed entirely of corner pipes, so there is no S drain or U trap...that's right, I have a slumlord. The Bison guys also discovered that the outside faucet is not connected to anything. That's right...it is a decorative junk of rusty metal that leaves no outside spigot in case of fire.The people at Bison are ALL 5-star. Highly recommend them.

I needed the main and backup water shut-off valves replaced in our home and out of the three companies I received quotes from, Bison was the most reasonable. I also had them tear out and install a new shower assembly (I had used sharkbite previously and wanted it done right). This job was performed early April and I have had no issues with the valves or shower. I will be calling Bison first for any future plumbing services I need.

Came home from Vacation late in the day to find leaking valve on city side of water meter. After having the water shut off by city I contacted Bison knowing their reputation as an honest contractor. Vern was here the next day to assess problem, gave me an estimate and the time the repairs would begin. Early the next day Ken arrived, removal and replacement of copper pipe and a total of 3 valves were complete in a couple of hours. All below the estimate Vern had given me. We hired Bison to replace the galvanized water pipes in our house with PEX. The reason we contacted them over anyone else is because they did really good work for a close friend of ours. When Bison came out to my home, they where professional, courtoues, and friendly. For example, when they arrived, I was on an important business call and was not able to give Joe my complete attention. It may have seemed from his perspective that I was being a jerk. You don’t know how to run the snake in the drain line. You just take my $120 dollars. And you told me the line is broken. You also send me a repair estimate for $2900 dollars. I did that work my self today I rented the tolls from Home Depot and I snake the drain line. Now is working. You are not a good worker. V bad. I’m coming to your store tomorrow morning. I will show them my video. That i fixed my problem. I did better than you.

Charged me $170 extra on top of the original $270 for a $12 part that there was nothing wrong with. Left mud on floors, then went to the bathroom upstairs with muddy shoes on, got mud on the new carpets, floors in the bathroom, then left stuff in the toilet (#2), and yellow stuff on our sink. It was a condo that we sold and was fixing the toilet for new owners, we were not home for the repair. Called manager to see about extra charge and about mess, he didn't care. They did show up on time and did the job right, but maybe be honest about repairs a clean up after yourself and have respect for people's property.

The Plumber and Apprentice were able to make my appointment earlier than the set time. Weren’t what I would call friendly at all. Though it is hot and have to wear masks. I think that can be excused. On Jan 2 on called Bison to come out and jet my outside sewer line to see if it could be lined. Bison sent out two tech with the jet to try an clear the line to see if it could be lined. Unfortunately the line was collapsed and lining could not be done. So I asked the tech to get me a quote for replacement. A few days later I received the quote around 13K without concrete work which I would have to find someone to do that work. I called the office to talk about the quote and the owner answered all my questions. I told him I would have to find out what the concrete work would cost. Unfortunately I was unable to find someone that would give me a bid. So I ended going with the first company Drain Detectives because their bid included the concrete work or at least that what their tech told me. 20K later the concrete work is still not done. And am being told that they don't do concrete work and it was not part of the bid. I should have stayed with Bison they were upfront and honest. Will not make that mistake agian any plumming needs i will call Bison. Sorry i didnt give you the jobb to being with.

Davin and Tyler worked long and hard but were able to clear approximately 80 feet of 6” tile drain pipe that was almost completely full of tree roots. The camera view of the inside of the pipe before and after was incredible. I highly recommend the hydrojetting process and the camera over the mechanical snake. Ryan and Daniel tried the mechanical snake but the pipe had too many tree roots and without a camera to actually see what was going on the reduced the price of the service call and recommended going with hydrojetting instead. It ended up being the right suggestion.

Bison Plumbing has effectively completed many projects for me now. They've replumbed my entire house including many additions. I can trust this company and their foreman to get the job done without even being present. Their plumbing has been flawless even years after project completion.

Called them to come fix my sump pump outside. Had a guy named Davin J. He was super helpful and nice. Gave me all the options and pricing and made things very clear for me. Also tried to save me as much money as he could. Would use them again.

Bison was absolutely amazing. They were able to provide an accurate quote based on my issue. I agreed to the services and an appointment for the earliest time on my next day off which was today. I wasn't expecting Rick until 1-3pm, at the time the appointment was set, 1-3 was the earliest they had which was just fine by me. To my surprise I get a phone call around 8am, me thinking its the confirmation call I answer, and to my suprise I was being informed that an opportunity for an earlier appointment had opened and if i was ready, someone could be out right away. I accepted and 10 minutes later help is at my home.Rick along with a colleague showed up. They were polite, professional and honest. They completed the work quickly and even took the time to educate me on what to look out for, took the time to explain the work completed, the warranty etc.Prior to Bison coming out, I had a quote from RotoRooter which came in 3 times as high which Bison had quoted. After turning down RR, the price quote changed from $339, than down to $280 and than offered another $40 off, if I agreed to posting a positive Google review. I agreed and the RR tech sent me a link, than awkwardly stood there while I posted my review to get my quote down to $240.Needless to say I did not go forward with RR. It also had nothing to do with the price as I had in mind, I could afford around $250 and I had not received my quote from Bisons yet. I chose not to proceed with RR because of the tactics they use. Had I not been an educated shopper and accepted the first quote I would have paid $340 to snake a drain. But to ask for a positive review before any services are rendered for a discount tells me RR is paying for reviews and thats never a great practice.Save youself the headache and your hard earned money, Bisons Plumbing is the way to go. We had Bison come out to find the additional problems we had found we were having with our sewer lines, and found all of the issues from under the basement slab out into the yard and showed me as they ran the camera in all of the drains, so that I could see where the water was sitting and or leaking thru the rotted bottom. Not only did they do an excellent job on the replacement of our sewer lines and their own clean up but even cleaned up the mess I had created by attempting the repairs myself. Josh H, Jeffrey A and the rest of the crew were punctual, professional and hustled to get the work done on our home. These guys even cleaned their way right out the side door with a vacuum in one hand and a mop in other, and being in the trades myself… this is not as common as you’d think. It was great having Rick & Brandon in my home. These two wonderful men were on time, very very professional, they put covers over there boots so that they didn’t track dirt on my carpet. Whenever I've had to call them they are very nice on the phone and helpful. When the service tech is on their way I get a text with the technicians picture and name which I really like. Any tech that I ever had was very nice and friendly and they explain what needs to be done and what they did after they have finished the job. I highly recommend them.

These guys were fantastic. I had gotten estimate from another plumber to do a dig up for over $10000. Bison went down with a camera and was able to Jet for $750. The professionalism from Vern at his staff was the best I have ever dealt with. I am out of state and these guys were above and beyond and super honest. Their prices are very reasonable and they walk you through everything that needs to be done. I highly recommend this company. You will be very happy. I can not praise these guy enough. Not all super heroes wear capes. If your truly not happy with them, (which is impossible) ill pay your bill. That's how much faith I have in Vern and his staff.

Pat was very informative and helpful for the estimate. Joe and Rick were very professional and stayed all day to get the hydro backup pump, primary sump pump and water heater installed. There was a bend in our chimney but they worked hard to figure out a solution to get the liner installed anyway. They cleaned up any mess from the job. Vern was able to answer all the questions I had prior to install. A great team and would recommend to anyone seeking plumbing work. The owners are also very friendly and helpful. I don't know about the quality of the work as I just had the work done. They left a few minutes ago. So far so good. 2 men came, both friendly and neither hesitated to explain things or answer my questions. They arrived a few minutes early which is always a welcome surprise. I had gotten a quote from another company for the same job that was $475. I paid $280.

THE ABSOLUTE BEST IN METRO DETROIT. I am a first time home buyer and had some extremely outdated cast iron piping that needed to be replaced (laundry area specifically). Patrick and Dave were punctual, kind, and extremely professional. In just 2 short hours they had completed the job and charged me 1/2 the price of every other quote I had received in the area. I have used Bison more than a few times and they are my go to for plumbing issues. The office staff is wonderful to deal with. The technicians were prompt and considerate of my property. I had a hot water heater replaced, the price was reasonable and Aaron went over the operation when the work was completed. Not a complaint but maybe an FYI for the future... I didn't know that the air in the the lines had to be cleared after the main line was shut off so when water came spurting and coughing out when I first turned the faucet on, I had to research online what the heck that was all about and follow the recommendations of clearing out the line. No biggie but if I didn't look it up I would have had to call them back to know what to do. So for future reference maybe the technician can go over that. All in all, a positive experience and I would recommend them to family and friends.

Bison had to dig out a broken sewer pipe in a front garden with many obstacles (trees, sidewalk, extra deep pipe) and they were so incredibly efficient and professional. Josh worked the excavator like a surgeon and dug around fences and other objects with no damage. The rest of the crew repaired the line and put the yard back together in record time. I cannot possibly say enough good things about this company. Including Vern, who is their salesman, who walked us through this because it was such a large undertaking.
