Ernie was amazing. The guy was very knowledgeable, very kind and gave a very reasonable price. He showed me some techniques to do the work myself next time and was very willing to go the extra bit to get me exactly what I wanted. So glad I found this guy, my plumber for life.

McCrone Plumbing have been our Plumber of Choice for many years and he has never disappointed. Always professional, polite and does great work. The last event was a Sump-Pump that stopped working. We were in Florida but my alarms were sending me text messages that the basement was about to be flooded. I called McCrone's Plumbing at 9:00 PM to see if he could help, By 9:30AM the pump was fixed, water damage was all cleaned up and my wife and I were extremely relieved. Very trusted and always makes you feel like he is your friend that you could call on for any help. A very happy and satisfied customer for over 10 years and would proudly recommend him for your job.

If you want a totally professional plumbing job done...look no further. Ernie and his team did an outstanding job of installing our sump pump and backwater valve expeditiously and effectively. He explained everything in great detail before they started and was able to blend the pipes with our existing landscape. When they were done taking out all the cement and dirt they had to dig out to install the equipment they left every area so clean we hardly had to do a thing. We were extremely pleased with the job and the friendly and great service provided by Ernie and his team. Great job.

Erie and crew helped us at a critical time. I returned home after same day discharge from hip replacement to discover leak under our sink in upstairs bathroom. Erie came next day and did temporary fix to leak which allowed us to turn water back on. We had to buy a new sink/tap, then booked for Ernie to install. Job was completed in a couple hours with his crew of Matt and Braden. With senior discount and cash payment I think total cost was reasonable. Ernie was thorough in his work and explained everything he was doing. I would not hesitate to call on him in the future and highly recommend McCrone Plumbing. Completely satisfied.

Matt and Ernie were very professional and friendly; they respected the property unit and it's furry inhabitant. They installed two faucets and shut off valves for bathroom and kitchen in a timely manner. Although they had to make multiple trips due to my part, they were still professional and did a great job. They always texted me 10 to 15 minutes before showing and would definitely recommend.

I had what appeared to be a leak happening in my basement. I could not figure out where it was coming from. I found Ernie's information on the internet and he was here within the hour. After a good 2 hours of extremely thorough and intensive investigation, it could not be determined where the water was coming from. By that time the leak had also stopped. Ernie changed out some knobs on the main water line and refused to take payment because he could not find the source of the leak. I seriously can't put into words how much I appreciate his time and professionalism. As long as he is in business I will support him and recommend him to anyone I know. Thank you Ernie!

Ernie and crew replaced my parents’ sump pump and well liner, and installed a back up battery and drain system. Work was done perfectly, clean up was spotless, and the system was explained with clear and helpful instructions. I moved to Windsor about a month ago and found something wrong from my sump pump system. This house is about 2 years old, but sump system was not set properly by previous owner. Then I tried to contact to some of my friends to get some advice of plumbing contractors in this region. Per their info, I called a few contractors and their responses were not good and they mentioned very generic comments and even I have to pay if somebody comes over to see my concern. Some of them were not responsive at all. I was so frustrated and then I tried to search local contractors through website and looked over detailed customer reviews. Eventually I texted on Ernie’s cell at McCrone pluming and to be honest I didn’t expect a quick response because I texted late. But surprisingly Ernie responded quickly and asked me to send him a few pictures to explain my concern.. His response was made quickly and very polite and responsive and gave me some time slots he could come over quickly. He came over Sat to check my issue and recommended some steps to investigate and potentially eventual method of fix. On Sun, he came over again with some of his crews to adjust sump pump in a pit for investigation of root cause. After more than a week, he came over again to check how it was going and gave me a final option to fix. Finally Ernie and his crew came over Sat to fix my issue and replace sump pump and add some plumbing and battery back up pump as well just in case for protection. After job completion, they explained me very detail what I need to check and care to prevent potential issue. Now my real nuisance issue is over and it has been fixed. Although Ernie has come over a few times before eventual fix, his cost was reasonable and made me comfortable. Also as other reviews indicated they did all work very carefully and professionally and cleaned all with zero mess. It surprised me too from quite messy work was done Sat. Thanks very much Ernie and team for hard work to fix my issue quickly. My wife and myself really like to express our appreciation to McCrone. I definitely like to work with McCrone team if I encounter any pluming issue from now. And I highly recommend McCrone to anybody who encounters any plumbing issue in this region.

Ernie is how other contractors should be. I have had him work on my house twice now for different plumbing problems and he did an excellent job both times.

As a bonus he also never left a mess (unlike other contractors) and shows up when he says he will. Finally a contractor that you don't have to harass to show up at your place.

Ernie and his son in-law are exactly what all trades businesses should be ! Honest, knowledgeable, prompt, courteous and very fair pricing. Down to earth good guys !

Great service. Called and immediate received an answer and they were able to install an outside tap and set it up, including installing a valve on the inside to turn it off in the winter properly. Our sump pump failed resulting in our basement flooding and we needed a plumber to install a new sump pump, battery backup system and backflow valve. I called Ernie in the morning for an estimate and he arrived later that same day to give us one. Ernie's estimate was fair, he wasn't the cheapest nor was he the most expensive but his knowledge and 30+ years experience in the business convinced my husband and I that he was the right person for the job. He was very kind and courteous, going over all our options, explaining everything to us in full detail and showing us exactly what needed to be done and exactly how he was going to do it. He was extremely patient and available for our many questions via phone and text and we always received a prompt response. On the day of the job Ernie and his crew arrived on time and completed the job in less time than was originally expected. They ended up exceeding our expectations with the fantastic job they did. The quality of the work was excellent and they left the area where they worked immaculately clean. Ernie even helped us unclog our kitchen sink at the end of the day at no additional cost. My husband and I will be calling McCrone Plumbing for all our plumbing needs moving forward and have very highly recommended his services to our family and friends.
