We just had a really bad experience with waterwork plumbing! I strongly recommend you DON’T use this company.The plumbing technician was here to fix a leak under the kitchen sink. We supplied him with two new water lines to replace the old ones and fix the issue. He struggled a bit turning off the water and then replaced only the hot water line before telling us the faucet was the issue...leaking and needed to be replaced. He a also said the cold water line didn’t need to be replaced. We paid him $95 and he left.I checked under the kitchen sink once the plumber left and realized more water was leaking onto the cabinet base than before his visit. I checked around and saw that the new water line he had just installed was leaking a lot.The cold water line was also leaking slightly. I then checked the upper faucet lines for moisture and found no leak coming from the faucet. Unbelievable! This technician was terrible and didn’t know what he was doing and then caused a bigger leak.We called the waterwork office to ask them to send out another technician to fix the leak we originally called them for. They said they’d have to charge us more?? They then argued with us when we tried to explain what happened. It was obvious they didn’t care about customer service or a quality job done right. They also wouldn’t issue a refund for the plumber not repairing the leak. That terrible experience prompted me to write this review.Again, don’t use this company! People vote by doing business with excellent, customer oriented businesses. Waterwork should be called Waterdoesn’twork!

The technician showed up and provided great service! Found out what my issue was with my faucet and fixed it right away!Highly recommend Waterworks Plumbing!!!!

Arnie, Dave and Dave all helped take care of what became quite a plumbing project this afternoon. The main drain was clogged inside the house, and a previous owner had done some custom work to the drain caps. The guys dealt with it all in stride. They also cleaned up the mess that occurred as a result of the original backup. They were more courteous, friendly and competent than any plumbers I have ever worked with in the past. I highly recommend them.

On Friday Nov. 1 I had a service man out and he cleaned my drain, very thorough an he was very knowledgeable about his work. An I was very pleased will recommend an will call again. Thanks for your service

On time. Polite, installed water line to refrigerator, repaired garbage disposal and covered sewer line. Second time I have used them. Will do so again. Would definitely recommend.

Never trust these people - not sure how they have remained in business and got such good reviews! I used them because of their great reviews - not sure who is writing them ... Had a problem with a toilet not shutting off and they sent someone who replaced a part - which in turn caused the water to run continuously. They came out again and replaced a valve - still the same issue. Came out the next day and wanted to replace another part. In the end got another plumber who confirmed they fitted the wrong part on the first visit. This plumber replaced and no problems since then. Waterworks Plumbing won't even refund for the wrong part they fitted - so much for standing behind their work!

Brian installed a new kitchen faucet and new shutoff valves under the sink. It must have been a challenge for him due to the fact that one of the valves is behind the dishwasher, which had to be taken out and put back in. And also the old plumbing in my 1960's condo. He did an excellent job and I was impressed. Later that same day, there was water leaking in to the unit 2 floors under mine. Thinking it was related to something Brian had done, I called the company and Brian came back right away. Turned out that it was because a pipe had started leaking when I turned the water for the building back on. It had nothing to do with the work Brian did. Thank you Waterworks! Thank you Brian!!

We noticed sewer backing up in our basement last night; called this morning and had someone out in less than 3 hours.Kenny was on time, super polite, and answered all my questions with a thorough explanations.He was able to clear the blockage on the line and look over a few other concerns I had in the bathrooms.I highly recommend this company and will definitely use again for any future plumbing needs. Hopefully I won't need them any time soon.

I got their name from Angi and requested a quote. Katherine called and left me a message. I called back and received a quote immediately. I liked that I got personal service immediately. I booked service. They were on time. Josh did an excellent job. Explained everything and gave me his professional recommendation. Their pricing was extremely reasonable. The plumber showed up the same day we called for service on our faucet. He installed a new faucet in less than an hour and was professional, clean, and courteous. Would recommend!

My plumbing was still the original from the 1920’s to my sewage dump line. It had begun to leak into my basement and into my bathroom subfloor. Everything was replaced correctly and professionally. The price was fair for the amount of work done. I trust this company’s integrity and honesty. They know how to fix things correctly.

Their receptionist was very nice and helpful. Ron was able to come out with little notice and showed me how he fixed the drain for future use. Great experience overall.

Nicco and Kevin were the crew assigned to resolve a bubble issue found on all 3 of our toilets. They were friendly, professional, and took the time to explain what they were doing, and how they were going to fix the issue. This is the 2nd set of plumbers to come out to try to resolve this issue (the first set were from a different company, and found nothing wrong). Great service, but I don't understand why I got charged an hour when the work took 25 min, and the estimated rate is per hour (no upfront disclosure that 1h is a minimum charge). There was a small spoon stuck in the disposal; nothing else was wrong and nothing needed fixing. The technician, who was very helpful and did a great job, arrived at 3:15 and finished at 3:45, came back with the invoice at 3:50. It makes you feel kinda stupid, but whatever. I would suggest you clarify that on the spot before work begins, and include arrival time.

Mark came out, inspected all the plumbing at our new house and gave us a quote that was reasonable. When he returned to do the work, he was prompt, knowledgeable and thorough. We are very pleased. This is the second house we have used WaterWork to service.

Professional and Prompt service. Called about a clogged kitchen sink and Kenny came out the same day. He used a snake to service the line and remove kitchen slugde then tested the sink with multiple sink drops. It was a reasonable $175 per hour. Highly recommend this plumbing company. Will definitely call them for future plumbing services!

Just want to say this is the second time using Water Works Plumbing: the first was in August 2015 and was a great experience having Kris and Jame out to fix toilet floats.Don came out today, October 11, 2022 to check on a mysterious occasional leak under the kitchen sink. Don was great and adjusted everything and felt confident the leak was around the disposal P-Trap which he tighten with everything else. So far so good and I trust Don at his word it won't leak! Thanks Don and happy hunting this season!

I’ve had WaterWork Plumbing over twice in the past month for various tasks, and I cannot thank them enough. They’re always on time, they answer all of my crazy new-homeowner questions, and they’re by far the most affordable in the area!!

Cody , the plumber ,was the utmost professional, very knowledgeable and was great to deal with.The rates the company charges are at the top of the scale, too high in my view, so if you use them they will not be inexpensive.That said, I was super satisfied with the quality of work, and again ,the plumber we had, Cody, was a top shelf professional.

Terrible customer service. Full review can be viewed on Angie's list, but short story is an employee misquoted me and the owner was unwilling to listen or meet me half way on price.I would avoid this company at all costs! Anyone who doesn't listen or is unappreciative of customers is not worthy of any customers.

Found out our hot water heater went out Sunday night. Called WaterWork Plumbing on Monday morning - having used them once before. Given the current circumstances, was unsure if we’d be able to get anyone out. WaterWork had their tech Mark out just a few hours later. He offered a thorough assessment of the work he would be doing and installed our new hot water heater in a quality and timely manner. Very friendly and willing to answer questions about the operation of the new unit before leaving. I appreciate their service and would use again!

We were in a real bind because our dishwasher was damaged by an electrical issue. The delivery service that brought out our new dishwasher was supposed to handle install and haul-off, but at the last second, they came up with a thousand reasons not to finish the job.We were already working with waterwork as part of an insurance repair for water damage. We called and asked if there was anything they could do to help out. They sent out a technician the next day. Don was incredibly helpful. He was great with her toddler and with our dog. We could feel comfortable knowing that the job was going to be done right, the first time.Very happy customers looking forward to doing business with them for our renovations this fall.

WaterWork wanted me to sign a liability waiver upon arrival that I was not comfortable with or made aware of before scheduling. If their tool breaks they want me to pay for a new one and pay extra repair fees? No thanks. They charged me $99 for no service. I didn’t want to be held liable if they made mistakes. Do they have insurance? My neighbor actually just had a tool broken in their line for the same type of service and weren’t held liable. The company knew they forced the tool and handled all the repairs necessary. The WaterWork plumber said they’ve been fighting their phone staff to make customers aware of their waiver ahead of time. Time to listen. Take care of your customers and employees if you want any.Update: I got my drain fixed by an excellent company that knows how to work around a house trap. I called a few more companies and asked if they had liability waivers first, they don’t. These other companies seemed to think the waiver is bogus. One said, “How many drains did they have to break first to begin a policy like that?” Wouldn’t you think twice as homeowner to cover your own? I did.

They were on time and very professional. Kenny made sure he got the job done and cleaned up after himself when he was done. He also helped me move a very large washer because my husband wasn’t there. I will definitely be using them again

I have used Waterwork Plumbing over half a dozen times at my current and previous home. The technicians are always very thorough and knowledgeable on every job. They take the time to explain all the options to me and get the job done with professionalism and expertise. I’ve recommended their services to many friends and family and all have been happy with the work they’ve had done. I highly recommend them...you will not find a better Plumbing company; period!

Charged about $11,000.00 and then in the spring, I found a gusher of a leak coming from my sprinkler system. It will cost about $900 to$1300 to fix the damage. But they said that they are not responsible for damages to landscaping etc. After paying $11,000.00 for the sewer line, you would think that they would repay me for the sprinkler damage. After all they claim they have insurance and license but now I have my doubts!

Called for a backed up drain and had someone in within the hour. The best part of it all was the attention and friendliness of they team that came over to fix the issue. Would recommend 100%.

*Update- we had an issue again and had to call them.Once again, completely pleased with the service. Whenever anyone asks for recommendations i am always glad to give them WaterWork info.* We have uses them 3 times, 2 were emergencies which they showed up within a couple hours for each of those. I just had them at my house to figure oit what was wrong with our outside spigot and they came next day. Chris had to replace part of the piping, replaced the spigot and gave a quote for updating all of our pipes. Every person we have spoken with or had at the house has been friendly and professional. I have and will continue to recommend them to everyone.

Installed a sump w/ pump in my basement.Extremely knowledgeable and nice people. Answered all my questions, no matter how dumb.The estimate had a few lines that said If X happens, the price may go up. It had me worried they'd use it as a good reason to raise the price later, like some other companies might. But I paid exactly what my estimate was.I would definitely recommend them!

We called at noon with a main drain clog. Rob came out within the hour and fixed the issue quickly and at a fair price. WaterWork is our new plumber.

Arnie and Larry are the best!! They tackle the job they come for quickly and professionally. They'll get it done right the first time, unlike many a few other companies here in the metro Detroit area. They cleared our lines within a few hours, after being told by another company our line had a break in it, they showed us a live feed of our clean, NOT broken pipe. The whole process was smooth from the moment I called in, to Arnie and Larry leaving the house. This is the place to call for your plumbing needs, don't even waste your time calling anywhere else.

Was random luck thru home adviser that me and Waterwork met , but am i glad we did !! but i kid u not when i say these guys are my heros!!!! after dealing with sewer backup , and moppin sewage for weeks ! Mike was amazing!! super quick to diagnose the problem and as stubborn as it seemed (stopping snake dead in its tracks several times) with mikes persistance was able to yank several clumps of fine roots from outside drain, and then diagnosed an addition clog inside the house ,he informed me would be an additional charge ,but the price was more than worth it!!!! me and my brothers could not be happier with the results

Jerry was awesome! He was very detailed in the process of finding out what was my issue was and letting me know the process and cost of each situation if they occurred. He made that the water was flowing properly in my house and he even fixed the valve on my basement toilet. He also gave me an estimate on getting an outside clean out installed in my yard. I would definitely recommend them and use them again!

I am a dedicated loyal customer and RAVING FAN of Waterwork - I use them for all of my homes and clients' homes. I can count on them to come when they say they will be there. I get all of my questions answered honestly. If service is needed I am given straight forward solutions that frequently have options and I can select an economical option vs the most expensive and get the job done right. Incidentally, I know from others what some plumbers charge - Waterwork keeps it affordable for the customer they never gauge or recommend the most expensive fix. Today I had the pleasure of working with Jorden and Dakota. Jorden is absolutely the God of Plumbing - total rockstar! He never made me feel rushed to ask questions, listened carefully and provided logical fairly priced solutions. Never tries to upsell services or parts that are not needed. There have been times when I actually got scared about a problem that cropped up unexpectadly thinking a wall will have to be torn out and the cost would be prohibitive - it was neither. We had an unknown leak in our toilet. Waterworks came out as soon as I called, Friday at lunch, and had it fixed by 3pm. They did a great job finding the leak in the wax ring as it needed an extension due to our floor construction.

Hired a professional company and got a professional job. WaterWork (Jeff) showed up on time the same day I called for help with a backed up sewer main drain in the Fitzgerald Neighborhood Detroit. I called 4 companies early that morning, they were the first to respond, office staff was great, direct and too the point and transparent in explaining the fee schedule. Jeff is the Man, came into a smelly situation and had it squared away Boss style in no time. He answered my barrage of questions with fatherly patience; really, dude must have 10 kids and love each one to death. Give these guys a call- Money well spent.

Very friendly. Scheduling was painless. The work was done quickly. This is the second time I've used them. My neighbors have used them a few times and have also has good experiences.

Used them now 3 times. Each time they are very communicative, on time, and professional. Gave me a 2 hour service window which is very fair. Pricing was about what I would expect(let's be honest, plumbing isn't cheap) but the pricing was more than fair. The technician explained each procedure each time and knew what he was doing. Above all else I've found them to be honest. They don't push unnecessary costly repairs if one can be done equally as well for a lower price. Highly recommend them.

Called these guys for a camera inspection on a house I bid on. They couldn't do it because they brought the wrong camera and wouldn't go get the right one. Despite this they still tried to charge me $250, when my realtor argued against paying it they said they would not be coming back.EDIT: Since David, the owner, has taken the time to write a long-winded response that I assume is meant to discredit my review, I figured I might as well make an edit for further clarification.When my wife initially called to make the appointment the woman on the phone told us up front that the home we were having inspected was older so it likely had a trap. As David pointed out in his response, because it had a trap they could not use a normal camera. Now imagine if you will, a company knows that there is probably a trap and will need to bring special equipment, but for whatever reason they don't. Then because of their own misstep, they want to charge us for all the time they wasted and more, simply because they weren't adequately prepared.After all of this transpired my realtor was upset (he referred this company to us) and got on the phone to try and resolve this on our behalf. I can't verify if anything the owner is claiming about that conversation is true and I definitely do not condone sexist language, but if this is how David conducts business I can understand why he might have been less than polite.

We suddenly had a main line clog this morning. During this Covid-19 crisis I wasn't sure what to expect in terms of the availability of any company to come fix the issue.Not only did Waterwork come the same day, they showed up earlier than the time window they had given over the phone. They called ahead of time and John was here 30 minutes early.He was very professional, identified the problem and resolved the issue quickly. He even offered advice for maintaining the line and ways to help prevent the issue in the future.This was without a doubt one of the best experiences I've had with any company that's done work on our house.I would recommend Waterwork without hesitation.

I have used WaterWork Plumbing at least 5 times in the last few months for either my own home or for various clients (I am a Realtor). From replacing a sump pump to scoping a sewer line, they have always been professional, on time and reasonably priced. I am so glad I found them!

Water work in Ferndale came out to my residence within an hour or so of calling. My water leaked in my basement walls and bathroom ceiling. The technicians Becker and.John installed my water heater and brought it up to code quickly and efficiently. Fine representatives of the company. Will be calling and referring in future. Two thumbs up and five stars given this company!!

Waterworks was very responsive and was even able to send a Plumber earlier than initially scheduled. Arnie was very friendly, quickly replaced my Primary Sump Pump, and was happy to answer all questions I had about this project as well as other plumbing concerns. Overall, I was very impressed with this company and would recommend them to my friends and neighbors.

Bryan was very professional and proficient. He explained everything that needed to be done and went over pricing before he started. As unexpected things arose he went over those with me as well. He left the areas worked in cleaner than when he came. I would 100% recommend this company, and if you can, ask for Bryan.

Had a really disappointing experience. I had called to make an appointment and explained over the phone exactly what I wanted done -- specifically, I was hoping to raise the water level in the toilet bowl, which after watching a bunch of how-to videos seemed perfectly within the laws of physics. They sent a technician, and standing in my doorway, said it was impossible -- the water level was dictated by the geometry of the bowl -- and charged me $100. I paid $100 for absolutely nothing aside from repeating in person what I has asked for on the phone an hour earlier. I don't honestly know if he was right or not, but I paid $100 for the experience.

They came out right away and took care of our leak. They were professional, cleaned up very well, and informed me of everything that was happening and what to keep an eye on. Great service!

I had Mark come out to install the water line to our refrigerator. He was responsive, very knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend this company. If I use them again I will be sure to ask for Mark!

Absolutely outstanding work by Waterworks plumbing. I had an old cast-iron plumbing system in my bathroom, and had multiple issues with trap siphoning, sewer smell, slow draining, and clogs. He ripped everything old out of the bath, redesigned the entire drainage system, ran me a new line for a second bathroom addition, and updated everything with rock-solid supported pvc piping. Literally every plumbing problem i had vanished when he was done, and the work looks beautiful. I will highly recommend them, and will 100% be calling upon them again when its time to plumb my new bathroom addition. A+!

Excellent work. Quoted on a Friday and scheduled work for the following Tuesday. On time and communicative throughout the whole process. Met quoted price even after adding new garbage disposal to the list. Very clean even while needing to remove drywall and some interior block wall for access. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Wow! I called waterworks and they were here within 45 minutes and didn’t find any major problems andonly charged me less than that their basic rate! I was going to use Cregger‘s and they couldn’t even get me an appointment until Monday, so I am thrilled that that’s taken care of. Still waiting on the repair for the chair though haven’t heard from the repair guy yet. But at least the plumbing part is done hopefully! Talk soon l

WaterWork Plumbing solved a 1.5yr long problem. Now we have no fear of backed up drains. And timely preventative maintenance measures have made a major difference.

Reply the response from the owner via my initial review: Its not true that you offered free of charge re-inspection after my complains, you quoted me $179 for the manager to come over next day and that's the reason I didn't want to use your service anymore at that point, because as a good business owner, you should take full responsibility to get the job done right without keep charging the customer. Additionally, there was actually nothing wrong with the sewer anymore after he cleaned the roots at beginning, then why couldn't he go further to reach the city pipe? Yes, it is called unprofessional! The other company I hired use the camera without issue to reach the city pipe, and take less time , I just don't understand why couldn't you guys get the job done right at first place, and you even ask more money to finish the job ?

Timely, courteous, neat and professional from the phone contact through the service call from Josh. A 24 hour turn around during the holidays. Josh even resolved an additional issue with another plumbing problem in my home. I will definitely use Waterworks again for any plumbing service.

Rob was very professional and friendly during the whole process from coming to check out my basement to talking through the options and he also ended up doing the work a few days later. Fair prices on top of it! I’ll definitely use them again. Highly recommended.

They came out within 45 minutes this morning and replaced some copper pipe that I managed to screw up trying to replace myself, while he was here he replaced the toilet fill valve and was on his way in just under an hour. I paid more for the supplies for my failed attempt at DIY than they charged me to come fix it and I got the toilet fixed too. I'm relinquishing my man card today, my ego is damaged.

This company was referred to me by my landlord. The only request I had was snaking the tub. I noticed them in the toilet and in the kitchen. The very next day I noticed water coming from underneath my kitchen floor. The water has reached my living room as well after I just got my carpet cleaned🤬😤 The toilet is now running non stop after they messed with it. After complaining to my landlord they sent another plumber yesterday who claim he didn't see water! Words can't express how disgusted and angry I am with this company!!!! Getting paid for services that's not done correctly by the incompetent workers they employ! I had to trash my mats and get my carpet redone!!! I have children in my home with a sink I can't use🤬🤬🤬🤬 Forced to eat out costing me more money and a mess I have to keep mopping up!!!!! I'm furious and will be telling my landlord NOT to ever send this company to my residence!!!!! I have videos of the mess made but unable to upload!! I'm extremely disgusted and dissatisfied with services!!!!!!

My main water shut-off wasn't shutting off the water completely. Also leaked for a bit last time I used it from the gate valve handle. The process was quick. Had a potential problem with another pipe that was pretty close to the shut-off, but was able to work around it without any problems. Plumber was very pleasant and it's nice not having to worry about any potential emergent plumbing problems in the future where I can't turn off the water completely.

We had drainage issues in our kitchen sink. I called them at 10:30 AM, and was given a service window of 11 to 1 PM. The plumber, Rob, arrived before 11 AM! He was professional, skilled and addressed all of our questions and concerns. He wore a mask and cleaned up after himself. We are very satisfied with their excellent service, and happy to recommend this company.

Kenny showed up promptly at 9am as scheduled. He proceeded to complete the Work Order as issued by my Condo Association. Upon completion of that he informed me of his concern for potential future sewer back up if this was not finished as it should of been. I guess his Work Order was to clear out the sewer drain 65 feet but realized that there were major blockages beyond that in the 116 feet out to the main sewer line. He requested additional authorization to complete the clear out but for the time, there was no response for my Association. He sad he felt bad because from what he could see and showed me if video footage … there definitely would be a sewer back in the near future. He began to pack-up his equipment and was told to move on to his next job. Fortunately, after multiple attempts to get further authorization, we received the Approval and he then proceeded to unpack and bring all of his equipment back in to my unit to fully complete the job. His concern and follow through needs to be commended. After another couple of hours my sewer line was cleared of tree roots all the way to the main sewer… giving me reassurance that I would not have another sewer backup. I am Soo Appreciative of this young man’s concern & ethics in his work! Thank You Kenny👏👍💪!

They were on time, extremely professional and came in under estimate which was a very pleasant surprise. Everything was explained in detail of what they were doing including how long their lunch break was going to be. LOL! These folks were amazing.

Chris and Brian spent all day replacing my 70 year old steel water pipes. They arrived proptly at 9AM with all of the material and tools they needed, ripped out all the old pipes, installed all of the new ones, and then cleaned up as if they were never there. Just because they were nice, they fixed the drain plug in my bathroom sink and replaced an old water spicket on the outside of my house, both at no charge. They stopped to explain to me what they were going to do every time they started a new part of the project, asked for my opinion whenever there was a decision to be made, and answered all of the questions I had. They stayed at my house longer than we anticipated, but did not exceed the price that they quoted me for, even though they probably should have since they worked for 10 hours basically non-stop (without complainaing even once). Chris and Brian are expert professionals who I plan to call the next time I need a plumber. They gave me a great deal, I wish I would have bought them lunch.

My business partner hired this company to do a 20k+ job on a sewer line at a rental property. They asked us to notify the homeowner behind us that they would need to access the area through their backyard. We talked with the tenant of the home and asked them to notify the owner of the work and access that would be needed through the property. Later Amy asked that we get something signed because “they may need more room”. I don’t understand what kind of room they would need or what trucks would be used so it was difficult to relay this information to the owner of the property. We asked Amy at waterworks to contact the owner so they could explain and mentioned the process was a little difficult on us “the customer” who would be paying 21k for the job and that we would be cancelling the job if they would not be more helpful. Well, Amy cancelled the job saying we were hostile and they didn’t want to do the job anymore. I have the email exchange between my business partner and Amy, at no point was is hostile. It was just a 21k client that had multiple houses visited by this company in the past being treated like they are not important. I would not trust this company if you are looking for plumbing services. There are plenty of respectful companies that care about their clients and making sure they understand what is going to happen when a job is done.

WaterWorks showed up even before they said they would (thank goodness) and explained in detail the cost, what they had to do, how long it would take, and how long they would have the shut the water off. All of it was done courteously and professionally and they pretty much saved us a day of business.

I was very impressed by the next day response time, even though my need was not urgent. Pricing was fair for the work done. Ken was very professional and friendly. I am 100% satisfied! I would happily recommend these guys and I would use them again myself. Thanks again Ken! 😊

I received a reply to my service request the same night. Made an appointment for 9 am the next morning. The tech arrived timely and did a great job in an hour. Very happy with the service.

I called WaterWork plumbing to replace a toilet. They were able to come the next morning. The plumber was very professional. He explained the process and gave an estimated cost before doing any work. They did a great job. I will be using them again.

Called Waterworks in June 2020 to have turn off valves installed in basement for 2 outdoor spigots, also replaced the spigots. Just turned the valves and spigots on in April 2021 and 1 of the spigots is leaking even when turned off. Called Waterworks and was basically told that they only offer 90 day warranty. Talked to a manager named Kim who was rude immediately. I am in the trades and was very much disappointed in the customer service. I do not recommend using this company.

Waterworks did a great job installing a new kitchen faucet. Good value for service and work was quickly done.

This company is amazing. I made a huge mistake and double booked two companies and they were so fantastic about it. The communication was amazing from their end from the beginning. I reached out via Angie’s List and WaterWork Plumbing called within minutes. They set up an appointment and said they would contact me before someone came. Within 30 minutes I got a call from a tech, but what I didn’t realize at the time was it was actually another company who received my information from Angies’s List as well. I thought I was simply verifying the time. When the techs came, I still didn’t make the connection that it was a different company. After the job was complete, a representative from WaterWork Plumbing arrived and that is when I pieced together that I unknowingly double booked. The tech was very polite, even though he had traveled very far. When I called to apologize, WaterWork Plumbing was so understanding. So even though I didn’t use them to repair my plumbing, I can’t say enough about how they were incredibly communicative and very very friendly.

Had 3 cast iron turn on valves replaced at over $1800, for our sprinkler system They are located in the house. We turned handles off once to close off and was unable to turn back on .. wants a charge to come back. We do not use system in winter so had no idea if we turned off, would not be able to turn on againThis is the Sanders mansion and maybe out of their league??

Called them out to take a look at our backed up drain. They tried but couldnt solve our problem and we still got charged for the whole amount of money. Would not come back to this company again.

They came to clear drains in the kitchen and bathroom. The drains were cleared all the way to the main drain in both rooms. Some of the old parts had to be replaced. The job took 3 hours and the work and clean up were professional. I am satisfied with the work and the price.

As a general contractor who owns a company whose 2 owners have over 60 years combined experience in residential framing/general contracting and have been licensed since 1986, and have an A+ rating with the BBB, and ZERO consumer complaints; it is easy to see that this company is a production outfit capitalizing on the labor shortage and prefers quantity over quality. They have no business doing anything but minor house/service calls (and I wouldn’t even trust them doing those). Whatever you do, NEVER hire them for remod/rehab/addition work. Most of their employees have no business plumbing ANYTHING and will abandon the job before they admit they don’t know how to do it properly. You’ve been warned!

Very punctual arrived right on time.The gentleman that came out was very informative about the options that could be done to solve the drain issue I was having with a sub soil drain around my home.This was the 2nd time I have used this company. Would definitely recommend them.

Paid $95 to have some come out to give me an estimate on how much it would cost to run a gas line from the inside of my house to the patio firepit, and was quoted $800 dollars for just on labor, so I called around to two other places to come out and Both of the other companies said that it would take them 2 hrs at most to do the job. Waterworks told me that it would take them 5 hrs. All they would have to do is to drill the hole through the house which takes at most 30mins, and around 1.5hrs to shut off the gas and run/sleeve the gas lines through the trench which would be already dug by the landscaping company. I find this company very dishonest with their quoting, I'm sure their work is great but I would definitely call around to get a 2nd opinion before making your decision, and remember they will Charge you a $95 dollar fee when other companies will come out for free.

Chris K was very polite and knowledgeable about the problem. He was able to clear the problem area and make recommendations to avoid this happening agai . This is the 3rd time that we have had waterworks out to our home for different plumping issues and they will continue to be the first phone call I make for any future issues.

They are not conerned on their customers, they are only concerned on their image, i bet many of the reviews in here are manipulated. The solution for my problem was simple and yet the technician extended the time to the point that he went in his car and waited until he reached the one hour mark to ensure he'd charge the full hour. I can’t truly remember the last time a contractor has been on time for an appointment. Imagine my surprise when Nico was right on time! But more importantly he was kind, considerate, and caring. He went above and beyond what anybody else would have done in order to help me with my situation. Money wasn’t the concern because this was covered by my condo association. However, the service I received was pretty impressive.

So happy. Waterworks was quick to take my call and offered same day service. Replaced the faulty waterline to the dishwasher. No more leak and my wife can use the her dishwasher again. Thank you waterworks.

Used WaterWorks Plumbing twice. The first time - excellent. The second time they came out, I'll admit, they did tell me a quote would be $90.00 if there for less than a half hour, and $150.00 if more than that. The technician came out to look at replacing a laundry tub (every 1940s era house in RO has one of the large double sink cement tubs - it's a standard job) sink, and bathtub. Technician was in the house for less than 30 minutes, didn't have to open up any walls or lift a finger to look at the job, and then sat in my driveway for 30-45 minutes to write up a single page quote. I followed up with an email requesting a partial refund - no response. This is the definition of predatory - something I've found with a few of the bigger plumbing companies. There's nothing like watching some guy sit in your driveway with the sole purpose of driving up the cost of a quote. Find yourself an independent plumber. These guys quoted me over $700 to replace the tub alone, I found 2 others that quoted half that, and over the phone because it's a simple job.

Though I called them in the afternoon they were able to provide same day appointment. In fact, they sent someone out right away who was kind, professional and did outstanding work. We were able to get an appointment next day for a clogged laundry tub. The tech came out was professional and communicated well. They were able to remove the old cast iron trap and replace with modern PVC that can be serviced easily in the future.

My experience with WaterWork Plumbing was excellent from beginning to end. I found them on Angi. Communication was very clear; they understood what I needed. My faucet was leaking; I ordered the parts from the manufacturer. Water Work Plumbing would send a qualified repairman to replace all the parts and make sure the faucet was functioning properly. As soon as I informed them that the parts had arrived they scheduled a visit and the work was done expertly and carefully. They called me ahead of time to let me know that their technician was available earlier than the scheduled time and asked if that would be OK. I appreciated the courtesy and was glad that they could take care sooner. The repair person was very good natured, courteous, methodical, and determined. He did an excellent job. It turned out that some of the parts of my faucet were stuck but the repairman dealt with everything appropriately and now I have a perfectly working faucet. The person I spoke with on the phone was also very polite and very pleasant and the estimate I was given was reasonable and accurate. I am really pleased with the whole process and of course the results. Highly recommended company.

I had a great experience with WaterWork. They helped move the rough plumbing during my bathroom remodel. The work was definitely quality, and the plumbers were everything I'd expect of a professional. I would have no problem recommending these guys to my family or friends.

The positive things I can say about our experience was that they responded with a technician 30 minutes after calling on a Saturday and the tech was very friendly. A tech came in and lit our pilot then charged us $95 dollars. He didn't actually address the problem of why the pilot would not stay lit. Right after he left the pilot went out again. We had to call a family friend to re-look and see what the actual issue was which was that our tank was leaking and we needed a new tank. Our tank is 15 years old so we figured that may be the problem just disappointed our tech didn't take a closer look so that we could get the process started of ordering a new tank and having it installed. Instead he focused on trying to convince us to get new copper pipes and giving us an estimate of over $500 (3 hours at $144/hr) to install a laundry room facet which we later found at home depot should not have taken more than 30 mins. The tech also advised that the price is the same REGARDLESS of how fast it actually took him to complete the job. Still no hot water but I will not be calling this company back. We will have to go through someone else. As a first time home owner I am disappointed in the lack of trust you can have with these companies.

I had evidence of back up around my drain. There was no standing water but you could tell it had backed up. I called my regular plumber but because there was no standing water, they considered it maintenance. They told me it would be several days before they could come out. I Googled “plumbers near me” and a Yelp site popped up. The first company on the list was Waterworks plumbing. It had wonderful reviews. I called them and from the time of my phone call until the guy left my house it was less than 90 minutes! It just happened that a serviceman was heading back to base and they had him turn around to come to me. “Don” was very prompt, efficient and friendly. I now have a new “regular” plumber. I would definitely recommend Waterworks plumbing!

Very nice and answered all of my questions. I asked about extra services and they didn't try and upsell me. They recommended what I needed at this time and said I could do the drain camera if the clog happens again. I would highly recommend them.

I have used them twice now and both times had a very positive experience. Fair pricing, friendly technicians, and show up when they say they will. They are very knowledgeable and carefully explained things to me. My go-to plumbers from here on out.

I called and they were able to come out same day and work with my schedule. The plumber arrived 10mins early and I was notified of the arrival ahead of time. The plumber was respectful and professional. He quickly got to work and diagnoses the two problems I was having (toilet leak and shower leak into the basement) and applied quick fixes. The last company we called out did not fully fix the problem and said if what they did did not fix it they would have to reinstall the whole toilet system. So glad I called Water Work for a second opinion and a quick affordable fix.

Plumber actually called and asked if he could come today instead of tomorrow (Friday). I said that was fine. Upon arrival, gentleman slipped on shoe covers before entering the house. He examined the toilet, tweaked the tank fill setting and everything seemed to be fine. Won't call anyone else for plumbing needs.

Stay away ! Customer Beware ! Bryan came in to replace a cartridge due to a leaky shower faucet and priced 144$ an hour or smtn like that plus materials which is fine the only thing is he did not replace all the cartridges or he put in the faulty one that was slightly bigger than the original and the gasket was thinner after he said he was done i told him that it is still leaking but he demanded that i pay him for his time even if the job is not completed . After my wife gave him 200$ he Also he recommended to replace the whole faucet and he said it would cost to replace the whole bathroom faucet for 750$ more , I called the office told the guy a story i said the job was not completed the office told me to resolve this with the plumber . Will call and complain when the office opens on monday. He also mentioned that he knows the owner for 20 years so i don't think it will get resolved. Very disappointed. This is not how you do business.

I contacted WaterWork Plumbing (WWP) on Thursday afternoon (6/18) for some repair work to be done on our plumbing below my upstairs bathroom. We scheduled an appointment for the next day Friday, 6/19, between 1-3pm.Don, the plumber, arrived at the home just after 1pm and immediately diagnosed the problem. He informed me about what was required, I gave the ok to get started and Don began his plan of action as he had described earlier. Don completed the work in about 1-1/2 hours (which was sooner than he had expected). He tested it to of course make sure that there were no leaks, then did a very satisfactory cleanup job and then he was done.He met all of our requirements, ie..he showed up at our home on time and wearing a mask because of COVID-19; he was very professional.It’s been a week since he did the work and we’ve had no issues, so I think it’s safe to say that there won’t be any. Because of the excellent work that he did, I think it’s safe to say that we’ll be recommending WWP to our friends in the future.Thanks for the excellent work.

I left a message on the website last night and received a call first thing this morning. Rob came out and was very professional and friendly. He looked at my drain and new exactly what themproblem was. I received an estimate for services. Currently waiting on two other plumbers to respond back. Before chosing which one will get the job. Funny thing wasnhe was down the street at my son's other granny's house finishing up a job.

Overall my experience with the work requested had no problems and I have been using their services over the past few years. However, this was the first time that the person who came to provide the service expressed his inability to snake the drain for the 150 feet that has been done all the previous times. His reason was that he was not carrying enough of the extensions. He also seemed a bit surprised that the previous times this was done! This took away one star.The other ( and this was a major disappointment for me) thing I did not appreciate was that the person who came was not following any Covid 19 precautionary measures. I had asked on the phone and I was told that all their service personal wear masks and gloves and ask all customers to maintain at least 6 feet distance. However, the gentleman who came did neither wear any mask nor gloves and did not mention any Covid related precautions.I maintained my distance and let him in the house as I had specifically stayed home and did not want to refuse entry to him to my house and then waste another day.But, as a company this shows a lack of customer care on the part of Waterworks Plumbing during these unprecedented times. This took away another star.

I'm a repeat customer. Extremely quick (and fair) estimate process, and turnaround. Most recent work (2022) went as well as when they were out in 2021 (that review is below). Worked with multiple plumbers and both experiences were very positive.***Responsive, professional. Great communication. We feel we had a very reasonable estimate and that the work was done exceptionally well. This was to install a new drain pipe for an existing tub after clear handyman-type repairs/patch fixes in the house we just moved into. Very happy using this service, who essentially righted a major wrong - under time and thusly under estimate. Will use again if we need to.

I had Waterwork come out and I found them to be very honest, professional and knowledgeable. Becker and his co worker did an amazing job and cleaned up nicely after work was done. I will be using them annually for maintenance and preventative measures.

I called on a Sunday and left a message and received a call within about 10 minutes and an appointment for the next day was scheduled. The plumber that came out was very thorough and gave me good information and direction on what needed to be done to effectively fix my problem.

Used Waterwork a few times now. Always professional and prompt. Did quick repairs to almost 100 year old plumbing. Always willing to answer questions and give advice about future complications without the sales-pitch vibe for more service.

Had them come out to fix a faucet that was more than a drip. Person did not want to replace faucet due to an object partially blocking the work area. Only replaced the spindles. Wasn't willing to go get handles to fit the spindles. Used my old handles. Told me he didn't have time to get handles even after I agreed to the extra charge. I take a shower the next day and now the cold water will not shut off at all. I have to shut the whole house down. They want to now charge me $450 to come out as it's Sunday. I can't afford this as I paid $195 less $20 coupon for the repair they screwed up. They gave me a $495 estimate to replace the whole faucet with shut offs when they were here. So I basically paid $175 for my faucet to not drip for 1 day.

I had a sewer backup up issue and Eric came out to help me. He was a consummate professional, extremely friendly and knowledgeable while being extra careful to avoid tracking dirt and water into the house. He went out of his way to answer questions and provided stellar service. I don't give many five stars but these guys deserve it.

This company is pretty great. Wasn’t expecting much customer service but received great customer service. Had a good call with the office and talked to friendly staff then had our plumber come out very quickly and had great service from him too. Will work again with them in the future! 10/10 would recommend to a friend

I've been getting my basement snaked in Oak Park for the last two years by another company in the area, who never gave me a long term solution to my problem. Water Works came out for the first visit and told me exactly what my problem was and gave me a long term solution, with a year warranty. I was very relieved I wouldn't have any ongoing problems with my basement backing up without assistance. Great job! 👍🏾

Kenny did a great job in our laundry room. We had leaks in four places, and he prioritized and tackled the easiest one first. He repaired a couple of leaking copper solder joints. Finally, he installed a new faucet for our laundry sink in no time at all. Waterwork Plumbing was very responsive, and I would reccomend them.

had a leaking shower in my finished basement. they sent ryan out, he told me i needed a part that wasn’t in stock & he would order it. 3.5 weeks later I called them looking for an update bc black mold began to grow on the walls near my shower due to the excess moisture from the leak. they sent ryan back out, he patched the job. 3 weeks after the patch, the hot/cold suddenly was stuck in the On position with no way to turn it off. i called the company and they sent a late night emergency tech out to shut off the water, i was charged Again for what should have been a warranty issue. they promised to send someone out within days, after 3 calls over the next 2 weeks, ashley (i think that was her name) tells me to find a new company to do the job bc they can’t make me happy and they refuse to refund me what i had already paid.worst company i’ve ever dealt with! it’s unfair, i paid every bill they sent my way and they leave me hanging with a broken shower and $400 poorer.

I contacted WaterWork plumbing and was provided a service call appointment between 3:00pm to 5:00pm that day. The plumber never showed. I spoke with an administrator the first thing the next morning, she apologized and offered me the opportunity to wait from 3 to 5 again in hopes that they may show.

I just had a wonderful experience with WaterWork plumbing. Both Beckett and Ken were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They took their time to check everything out thoroughly and fixed my issue quickly. I would definitely recommend them.

Receptionist was polite and courteous. David was as well as he scheduled the appointment with BECKER (service tech). Arrived early and was also polite in greeting. I informed the receptionist when I called to set the appointment that I just purchased the home and it had set vacant for a number of years, therefore I was requesting sewage drain inspection/ clean out service. I didn’t know if I trough or not, which would prevent the tech from using a camera. NEVER did the receptionist setting the appointment mention any of the following: 1) you need to have power in order for the tech to snake (cable) my line 2) the tech did not have a power generator 3) there was a fee just for the plumber to come out ($95) 4) the service fee would be due at the time of the appointment whether service was performed or not. Needless to say, the tech 1) couldn’t run a camera because I had a trough 2) couldn’t perform the service because I had no power (again, I just purchased a vacant home which I told the receptionist at the time of setting the appointment) 3) wasn’t prepared to pay $95 on the spot that I wasn’t told would be required 4) Service tech told me since I didn’t have power, in order to get a generator to run the cable, the cost would increase from $165 to $400!!! I would’ve brought the generator my dad had at home if I knew it would’ve been required. When I told the ServiceTech BECKER that I wasn’t informed properly and therefore wasn’t prepared to pay $95 (on the spot) for service that wasn’t performed, BECKER looked at me like there was going to be a problem...he placed a phone call, then told me that he couldn’t help me. By the way, BECKER was parked in my driveway before I got there, so when I showed up on time, I ended up blocking him in my driveway. Once the transaction went south, and BECKER told me he could t help me since I wasn’t going to pay $400 or $95 (immediately), BECKER drove across my grass, off the curb showing clear disrespect and impatience for me to move my vehicle. Choose to do business with this establishment at your own risk...you will be sorry.

I have an older house with some outdated gas lines, and I needed help getting a gas clothes dryer hooked up.Ryan was professional and went the extra mile to help keep costs low while doing a quality job.

Scheduling the replacement of my hot water tank with WaterWork Plumbing was painless. I called to get an estimate and received one right away over the phone so I knew what to expect. Once I decided that the price would work for me I called back to schedule and they were able to come out the very next day. I called WaterWork when our sewer line clogged and backed up into the house. They were very friendly when I called and they informed me that the next available appointment was in the afternoon, but they'd try to get me in sooner. The ended up coming a few hours earlier than promised which was a relief. Nico was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was able to assess the problem and he had it fixed in under an hour. I would definitely use WaterWork again in the future.

I Highly recommend this Company!I called on a Saturday afternoon and WaterWork had Niko there literally within minutes. I had just moved and desperately wanted to do laundry. But the main pipeline was leaking a lot and the nut threads were stripped and it was a difficult repair. Niko was so nice and had it fixed and ready to use in less than an hour. Waterworks set a date for fixing a leak in the bathtub drain. They called the day before to confirm the appointment. Arrived at the time promised. The plumber was very pleasant and professional. He explained what was involved in the repair. Told us upfront the cost before starting work. Made the repairs necessary to correct the problem with the bathtub drain. In addition, there was a problem with the hot water supply line under the bathroom sink that the gentleman repaired for us. My brother and I are both homeowners. Going forward, you are our go to company for plumbing service. We are very very pleased.

Brain noticed a city sewer truck and suggested it was their maintenance causing the toilet to gurgle. Brian checked my drains, I requested he run the snake to the city line under the sidewalk. No issues. Maintenance complete. Brian was courteous, thoughtful, and professional. Glad I called Waterworks today. $175 and peace of mind.

I used Waterwork Plumbing to install a new shower valve, head, trim and 2 shutoff valves.Plumber showed up on time and completed job in a neat and professional manner. There was a minor leak from the new shower head and they sent a plumber back out within 2 hours to fix it.

Showed up on time, worked quickly, was very professional and clean. I will be calling them again if I need some service.
One thing though: I just wished he wore a mask when inside the house.

I appreciated the serviceman asking questions so he could analyze and determine what was causing my basement backup issue. Other companies, in my experience, would just see water backup and immediately start snaking. But he knew where to go in the sewer system to tackle the issue I was experiencing. He also took into consideration the age of my home. He explained to me the cause of the issue and gave me suggestions to lessen any recurrence of the problem and what to watch out for in the future. I am always pleased with the repair work done by this company.

Had a drain pipe fail in my basement. Rob and the rest of the Waterworks staff had me fixed in just a couple of days. They were punctual and professional, respectful of our home (putting down tarps to protect floors, doing a thorough job of cleaning up, etc.). They were clear about the work they were going to perform - and delivered based on their estimate (which my homeowners insurance folks said was very reasonable for the work performed. I’d be happy to work with them in the future.

Mark installed my new sink and faucet, he also had to rework the plumbing for the sink, garbage disposal and drain. He caulked the backsplash and sink. He did a great job. I'm very happy with his work. It only took 2 1/2 hours to remove the old and install the new. I will definitely use them again.

I contracted with a big box store to replace my leaking water tank. Between issues with the store and the local plumber, eight days passed without a new tank. After accepting a smaller tank just so my leaking tank would be replaced, the plumber told me I would have to wait another week for installation. I immediately called Waterwork and they had someone at my house and installing the appropriate tank with an hour. Great work, professional, and they really stepped up when I needed them.

These guys have come to my rescue twice now. Last winter, coldest day of the year my pipe froze. They were here same day! It was late and dark and 9 degrees below zero, but David 2.0 was here and made the repair. He did it again last week. My shower was going drip drip drip. It turned into a steady stream. I had a back up in my basement. I call Waterworks and I talked to David about my situation. He was the most pleasant person. He insured me that there were no job to big for WaterWorks technician. So my first technician was Jerry. He was very pleasant, but do to our dogs situation and me not being able to control them, he was not able to do his job. After my husband arrive I call David back and he was able to get me out another technician name Nico. Nico was very timely and informative to my husband about what had happened and why the drain was clogged. I appreciate WaterWorks for my awesome experience and a job well done. Called Waterworks regarding a leak under my kitchen sink. Quoted $95 to come out which would be applied to their hourly $144 rate plus parts if I wanted repair. Workman arrived and told me that my faucet spray hose had a leak. Either needed hose replacement or a new kitchen faucet. Delta faucet on their truck was $35. Expected to be charged $144 plus $35 , assuming it would take about an hour. Instead workman then told me there was an ADDITIONAL flat rate of $250 to install a new faucet. Therefore the bill would INSTEAD be $429. Not sure why I’d be paying the $144 plus parts if there is also a flat rate repair fee. Lots of shenanigans going on with their pricing. Wouldn’t do business with them again.

First off, I have used WaterWork before and have previously been very happy with their service.Last week I called to have someone come out to provide an estimate for redoing a bunch of plumbing in the basement. When I called to schedule the appointment they asked the scope of the work, we agreed upon a time when the plumber would come, and that was it.At the scheduled estimate time, the plumber came, looked over everything, discussed some options with me and was very professional through the whole visit. When it came time to leave, the plumber asked for payment ($144) for the estimate. I was not expecting this as it was not stated on the phone call when booking the estimate or by the plumber until the end, as he assumed I was expecting this fee. To not further hold up the plumber and since it was not his doing, I wrote a cheque and figured I would be able to sort it out with the office by calling in afterwards.Boy was I wrong. I called in and both Tanya and Kim were adamant that because it was policy to tell customers about the estimate fee that I absolutely had to have known about it. I made it very clear that if I had known I would never had agreed but instead of asking for a full refund, I immediately proposed splitting the fee down the middle and calling it a misunderstanding so both parties could move on satisfactorily.Kim stated she needed to discuss it internally and was going to call me back around 9am the next day. The next day came and went, no call. The day after that (today), no call. I decided to call and see what was going on. Once I was able to get Kim on the line she reiterated that I absolutely had to have known and that they could not have made a mistake, that they discussed it internally and that no refund would be provided and that it was not acceptable to split the payment, and she did not provide any apology or explanation for not calling me back as promised.Unfortunately, we paid with a cheque which was quickly cashed and so our recourse is limited.I have never been asked to pay for an estimate before, no matter how in demand or expensive the professional's time/skills. I understand that it takes time out of someone's schedule which is why I immediately proposed splitting the fee to just 'get on with life' but not only would they not entertain that, they refuse to acknowledge the possibility that the fee was not mentioned and that someone on their end could've made a mistake.I will not be using WaterWork plumbing going forward, regardless of the quality of work or professionality of their plumbers (unlike the office staff). It's a shame because they are one of the few trades companies I've worked with in Detroit that I felt actually provided work commensurate with their price.

Brian was great! Very knowledgeable. He didn't try to upcharge me or sell me on anything. Everything was repaired perfectly. He went above and beyond and answered all my questions. I was able to get an appointment the next day. He wore a mask and shoe covers the whole time. Great experience and I'll definitely call them again when future work is needed.

I cannot say enough about WaterWork Plumbing and their staff. I live in a 90 year-old house with a lot of old plumbing and have been using WaterWork for the past 2 years. Sunday afternoon my 90 year-old street side water shut-off valve failed and started leaking all over the basement. I left a message on the emergency line and Becker arrived within an hour. We were not able to get the city to shut the water off on a Sunday, but WaterWork worked closely with me to prioritize my job the next day as soon as the water was shut off. Becker worked quickly and efficiently to get the valve replaced and to verify everything was working properly before he left. I am now on a first name basis with most of the office staff due to this issue, but they have been very helpful, friendly, and responsive.

If I could give them zero stars I would. I also wish I could post pics of the dryer installation- the vent came apart from the back of the dryer after drying two loads and my basement was filled with hot air. The woman on the phone blamed it on the waterproofing on my walls- what does that have to do with the vent tube being TAPED to the dryer instead of secured properly???? It is ridiculous. The washer hoses were also hooked up to the wrong side- I set my washer to cold and it washed the clothes in completely hot water. They came back and fixed it, but it has been craziness over simple appliance installation. If they can’t get this right I wouldn’t trust them with anything really important.

I've used waterwork plumbing several times so far. I have a house with a few plumbing issues and they have been able to help me out with all of them.
They are very friendly, very helpful, very knowledgeable and they do a good job. All this and their prices are very reasonable. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

From start to finish this experience was great. Ryan and his guys installed a sump pump and two backflow preventers in our basement. He kept us well informed during the job and answered our questions in a way that my wife and I could understand. He also had two apprentices with him that were hard workers as well. We would recommend them to anyone looking for quality work at a reasonable price.

My g girlfriend needed help with her bathtub leaking and the kitchen sink dripping. We called them on s Saturday and they the following Monday and help ed fix the leaks and showed us hot to access the water main in the house for next time. He replaced the fixtures and a couple of pipes. Would definitely use them again.

The plumber that came to fix another plumbers poor work was a pro- clean and efficient. Would highly recommend in the future. Their payment system for check/credit cards does stink tho, that needs improvement.

Was in search of a reliable, knowledgeable plumber to fix a BOTCHED dishwasher installation (previously attempted by an ABC warehouse - affiliate contractor). From front office scheduling to service provider arrival, communication was concise, professional and consistent. The plumber Mark showed up as agreed, was transparent and fair. I recommend Waterwork plumbing.

A so called miscommunication, I was quoted $2,500 and it only needed a $25 part (air admittance valve). At no time did they bother trying anything to fix the issue, the plan was to start by busting up concrete for thousands of dollars. After I got a second and third opinion to find out what was wrong, I called and asked why they didn’t try anything… all I got was excuses and them trying to read the poorly written estimate in their favor. No responsibility was taken, all I wanted was a reason why they didn’t replace anything or plan to try anything before busting concrete. I didn’t get reasons or “sorry we were wrong”, I got excuses and was told I misunderstood the estimate or that I didn’t give the proper approval while he was at our house. We’ve had both good and bad experiences with this company, unfortunately they’ve lost future business from us, my friends and family.

I called waterwork plumbing to get some quote for repair some plumbing issues.I paid $ 165.00 for Technician to come look at the job & provide me Estimate. He spend 15 minutes on the Basement & 15 mintues on his work van. Waited 1 week for estimate but didn't hear or respond from anyone until I called and asked for the estimate.They email me stating they need additional $ 1500 to $ 1700 dollars more to get a accurate estimate .I found this very ridicules, outrageous and way of waterwork plumbing ripping of there customers .If the job is too big or cant handle all you can say, this's something our company can not do any repairs cause difficult job instead charging $ 165.00 dollar for 15 minutes walk in inspection. Then telling customer need $ 1500 to $ 1700.00 more just to give you accurate estimate??!Very disappointed.

Had a dripping copper tee in my basement. Scheduled promptly and arrived on time. Plumber was very professional. Took a full hour to replace a single tee. It was completely open and unobstructed. But it was done properly. Asked him to fix a burst pipe also in basement. Burst pipe was up against a wall, so a tiny bit more challenging to work on. He fixed it properly, but again took a full hour to replace 2 inches of pipe. Then the parts bill for one tee and a few inches of copper was $64!! I called to ask why so much, and the rudest 2 ladies told me it is what it is. They could not even tell me the parts used. Just awful customer service. Good work, but in my opinion, they may engage in deceptive billing practices.

Had the pleasure of working with Bill. The Water Works team responded quickly, Bill was able to fix my problem and explain what he was doing is a simple, professional, and honest way. He explained that he isn't paid on commission, so he's under no pressure to sell me work that doesn't need to be done. He had the problem fixed quickly, double checked all his work, and was patient enough to put his boot coverings on and take them off everytime he entered the house , right after a fresh snowfall. He also used a broom and dustpan to clean everything up when he was done.Bonus points: it's a locally owned and operated business. I would 100% recommend.

Jerry was my service technician and came to replace the toilet bowl gasket. He was right on time, friendly, and professional. He wore a mask the entire time he was in my home and put on shoe covers so he didn't track in dirt. His work was done quickly and he left no mess for me to clean up. He also suggested and adjusted the water level in the tank for better flushing efficiency. The previous plumber I used never returned any of my 3 phone calls. They've lost my business forever and WaterWork will now be my plumber going forward.

Recieved a reply within 30 seconds of my request. The technician was at my house 1 hour later. Fixed leaks on both sides of the kitchen sink, replaced the garage disposal. The technician was professional, courteous and honest. Everything is working as expected 24 hours later.

Ok, I'm impressed. After getting an estimate from another plumbing company that offered only 1 (extremely expensive) option. Mark from Waterwork asked a series of questions then deduced that it was a simple solution to my basement drainage problem. Problem solved at a fraction of what I thought. They have me a 2 hour window. Said they would call when the have a plumber 30 minutes out. They called and said they have one 15 minutes away and I had to decide within a couple minutes whether or not I could make it there.Also, have a check ready or they’ll charge you extra to use a debit / credit card. They didn’t tell me that on the phone, they only told me that I’d be charged 10% more if I wasn’t present for the inspection.Also their charges are a good 30% more than the other plumbers in the area. I gave them a 3 because the plumber was pretty knowledgeable and overall a pretty pleasant guy.

The plumber came out on time, was professional and fixed a very old sink with a leak. This is my first time using this company from a recommendation from a friend and I will definitely put them in my contacts for future use.

Called Waterworks after receiving conflicting reports about my sewer line. Nico came out the SAME DAY and did an absolutely superb job! He was able to get the line root and debris free when the other company was not able to do so. Nico, as well as the lady who answered the phone, were upfront and transparent about the pricing. I had a water heater and dishwasher installed at my commercial property and a pipe fixed under the bathroom sink. They were on time and everything was done professionally and in a timely manner.

I’ve had Waterwork Plumbing out to our home for a variety of issues ranging from clogged drains to water backup caused by tree roots to replacing 100-year old cracked cast iron pipes. Our house is very old and, clearly, riddled with issues! Their team is one of the very best I’ve ever worked with and I recommend them to everyone I know. It’s nice not to have to think twice about who to call when we run into issues.

First, I was able to talk to an actual person on the phone every time. They came out quickly and addressed another issue I don't even know about while there. I was helping some kids out because the landlord wouldn't unclog their clogged bathroom drains, so I was not there personally. 7am and i see our Water heater is done for. Leaking in basement. Waterworks answered when i called, and had someone come out ASAP. Was done in 1.5 hrs. Told me all of the general pricing up front. They were fast and fair and i felt like they actually cared about our situation and were ready to help.

We needed extensive remove and replacement for the utility room faucets and plumbing. Brian was amazing, personable, and professional. We couldn't have been more 😄 pleased.

I've used these guys for a 4x6 cutter and a camera scope of a sewer line both times, although pricey, they did a good job. The last time I used them and this will be the last time I use them I had them come out to unclog a drain. The guy was nice but could not unclog the drain and charged me $165 for the 45 mins he was out here. I've since had another company come out and fix the problem in one hour. $165 is a lot for 45 mins of not fixing the problem especially after using this company twice in the last month.

My second experience with Waterworks and it was as terrific as my first. This time around Chris installed a slop sink in my unfinished basement. What a great job. Highly recommend everything about his work!

Came out right away, explained how the problem needed to be fixed, came in at bottom end of quote, plumber was Arnie, I thought he did a great job under less than ideal circumstances, I would absolutely use Waterwork again!

I just had a terrible experience with WaterWork Plumbing. 2 weeks ago, went on Angie’s List to find a plumber for a back up water pump replacement. Our system is over 15 years old and is leaking. Water Work Plumbing called me, right away. I was told they have and install back up sump pumps, and it will be around $500. I said great, booked them. Installer showed up today, and was under the impression I had the back up sump pump for him to install. This was very strange, because, I was very specific on the first call that I needed a back up pump. The installer, Brian, was great. He totally knew his stuff and I trusted him. He was honest and told me that he did not have a back up pump for me and doubted that he could get one. I would need a new sump pit to be made and a new system. I suspected this, and I had already had a few quotes for this procedure. Brian then did an inspection for an estimate. His estimate came in around what I had already been quoted. No problem. I was then presented with a $95 service call fee. What? Why? The owner was making Brian do this. I called Brian’s office. I was told that he needed to be paid for his time. I would understand if they actually did what I hired them to do, bring a back up pump for installation, and it didn’t fit/work. That’s fair. But, they just showed up with nothing and charged me for a free estimate. Come on. I told the woman on the phone, who didn’t come off very friendly, that if I pay $95 for a free estimate, you probably wouldn’t be getting my business for a $3500 job. She then told me “we do not do ultimatums, we will take the $95”. I was stunned. I get it mistakes happen...a business was trying to hustle and maybe bit off more than they can chew. No biggie. Admit you made a mistake, hand me the free estimate, we can do business. Instead, mess up, charge a customer for a free estimate and be crummy on the phone. Oh brother. Keep in mind, I thought the installer, Brian was great. I wanted to book the $3500 job, today. For real. He said all the right things, because, it’s my 3rd quote for this job. I trusted him. I guess $95 is more than $3500 at WaterWork Plumbing. What a bummer. So, if you want to pay $95 for a free estimate, be promised one job, subbed for another, and then be treated poorly on the phone, WaterWork Plumbing is for you.

WaterWork sent Nico out same day. He was excellent. Wish I had his personal number so I could contact him directly to work on my house!! Wish him the best in his journey to Master Plumber and I will be calling WaterWork in the future for other plumbing needs.

Scope drain line. Tried to take payment before for work that wasn't done yet. I told them I would give a cc deposit, but won't pay before the work is done. Then told me I need to sign a docusign that would add an additional 10% on the fees if I want the work done. Wouldn't just take my card over the phone. I canceled the appointment on the spot.Seems like this is a good way for them to up charge the 10%, then also charge you whatever they want. I'd stay away from Waterworks.

This was my second time using Waterworks. Both times they were able to make an appointment for me on short notice. Both times they did solid work and were very affordable. I will definitely use them again

Arnie and Anthony spent almost 12 hours at our house working literal magic and making our dreams of adding a bathroom possible. We thought we were going to have to bump out the plumbing but he figured out how to keep everything behind the wall which is literally amazing. They were professional, worked incredibly hard all day, clean, kind, communicated with us the whole time and asking us questions to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it and they even offered to help us with our future projects as they helped us with our first project in our new 'fixer upper' home. I will forever use them as they were one of the most wonderful vendors that I have worked with and couldn't recommend them and the services more!

My sewer back up last week with all the rain my stupid sump pump continuously kept running and making matters worse ,I called Water Works they came out on time ran snake and camera tree roots going to have them install a new clean out in the next few weeks Chris the service tech was very good knew his stuff. Would highly recommend.

Called due to main stack leaking. Had a tech show up and he cut into the wrong wall first cut. Second cut didn't show any issue with plumbing behind shower, so he tells me ill need to open up wall myself and have them come back once I find the issue.... Really? I paid $95 for you to show up to cut into the wrong wall, not do any work, nor locate the issue?I will not be calling your company or using your services again. Waste of $100 on a service call.

Not only were they on time, but called me to ask if they could come early. They diagnosed and fixed the problem promptly and charged a reasonable fee. The technician that came was professional, and answered all the questions I had. It was a very good experience and we had our hot water back within 4 hours after my initial call.

Called on a Saturday was told 144 an hour. I asked how long these jobs take and was told 1-2 hours to run a 6 foot gas line from my fireplace to the utility room directly under the fireplace. I agreed and Ken came out. I helped Ken do the job in less than 2 hours. There was less than 40 dollars in materials and I was handed a bill for over 500 dollars. There was no itemization of the parts and when asked Ken had no logical explanation but to say he does not make the prices up. Ken also drilled 6 3/4 inch holes in my firebox that I had to repair. I feel I can now charge water works for my labor and parts. Ken never cleaned his mess as well. I called and my wife called water works and were Told someone would call us and shockingly no one did. We called again and pretty much told us this is what we charge. When asked to talk to a manager we were told no. Knowing what I know now I wouldn’t hire them to plunge my toilet. How you going to charge a client over 225 dollars for 40 dollars in parts? I understand marking things up but you’re a scam.

This is my 2nd time using Waterwork Plumbing, both times have been exceptional. Thornton & Grooms quoted me $477.00 to install a widespread bathroom sink faucet! Fortunately I was NOT born yesterday. Becker & Alex from Waterwork arrived at my home within 1.5 hours of me calling. They installed it for $177.00. The guys were polite and efficient. I could not be happier.

These people were actually professional. They took their job very serious. They would speak in layman's terms to me and make me knowledgeable of what was transpiring with my pipes. I will call them again. Thank you water works

Update 5/27/21:Shortly after I updated this review I received a call from David, the owner/master plumber. I missed it but he left a voicemail and called my husband a few minutes later. My husband relayed his experience and David was very apologetic. He said that's not how his company operates, he's disappointed that this was our experience and he wanted to make it right. He arranged to have someone out to complete the job that same day. They originally said between 3 and 5 pm but ended up coming around 1:30. They sourced a 10 rough-in toilet (we paid for it, we felt that was fair) and had the bathroom back in working order by 3 pm. I'm satisfied that David and his company take honest feedback from customers and strive to make it right when things go wrong. He even said he'd rip up the check from the original appointment, and we didn't get charged for the make-right. We'd be happy to use WaterWork again in the future given David's integrity and willingness to straighten this out.

I was very satisfied with the service from Waterwork. They were right on time and evaluated the work and provided an accurate quote. Chris was very helpful and did a great job.

My sewer line was backing up into my basement Sunday night, I called these guys Monday morning and they were able to come out same day. I was given a window between 1-3 and Jeff, the technician/plumber, was very punctual arriving at 1. He inspected the situation, and went straight to work. He kept me well informed during the entire process, he seemed very honest and upfront about everything he was doing. I called out a few other companies and none of them have been this thorough, clean, organized, honest, and friendly. I am very impressed with the service Jeff completed, this will be my go-to company for plumbing related things and I will be recommending them to everyone else I know. I only wish I would of heard about them sooner!!

Toilet in the basement over flowed and would not drain. Any water ran in the house caused it to flood more. Waterworks professional came over in under a half hour and was done in less than a half hour. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. I would recommend to everyone.

Called to schedule a sewer inspection the day before I needed them to be on site. They were incredibly accommodating, even on short notice, and exceedingly nice to work with. The two gentlemen who performed the inspection were both polite, knowledgeable, and happy to explain the results in detail. Pricing was fair - just an overall honest company with good people on staff. I needed the inspection for a home purchase and I would confidently use WaterWork again and recommend them to friends buying a house in the area.

I've had a few services done by Waterworks and continue to go back to them because they're all great people that do quality work. They seem to function like a mom and pop type of place and everyone that has been to my house to fix a tub drain or a main line or a water heater had been so great. Bryan especially is one of the nicest, honest and best plumbers I've had the pleasure of dealing with. Ryan, Don and Niko are also very nice and get work done quickly and efficiently. I asked WaterWork Plumbing for a second opinion on the issue with plumbing at our house in Berkley. Basement was flooding and the first company I hired attempted to snake the pipe. The cable/snake got stuck under in the pipe line and the plumber assumed the pipe under the front porch is collapsed and the debris blocks the cable. The solution to this would be to replace the pipe in the front yard. That would mean thousands of dollars out of pocket expense if I don't have underground water line insurance (not many homeowners have it). WaterWork company sent a team Jamie and Jerry to evaluate the situation. The senior plumber Jamie as a first step sent a camera down the pipe, then snake the drain again over and over till he freed up the first plumber's company equipment/cable (which was tangled in the roots of the tree with detached cutter at the end), and then he sent the camera down the pipe again. The final camera view revealed that pipes were perfectly fine and functioning, the roots caused the flooding issue, the roots were removed as much as possible with the snake. Jamie offered DVD of our pipe line camera view for me in case I have to show the first hired company the result. I did speak to the owner of the first hired company. My complaint was handled very well and professionally by him and the company will return my money. Thank you Jamie and Jerry from WaterWork Plumbing! Great job! We had a clogged storm drain which ended up flooding our basement. Other guys came out and couldn't resolve the main issues. These guys found it in 5 minutes and had it fixed in another 10.

Plumber was able to stop by same day to clean a bunch of roots from the sewer line. Tough job where the clean out was inaccessible due to past renovations. Had to take off a toilet on the main floor. Really appreciate the hard work to get my drains running again. Reasonable prices too.

Got scheduled for the same day of the call to replace my laundry tub drain and faucet. Got the job done within an hour from when he started. Happy with the final product, no more leaks!Only reason I gave 4 stars is the way they charged per hour rate. Job was done in an hour but time considered is from when he pulled in my driveway to going out! Paid for his time sitting in the van till he showed up at door, go find his tools and parts, n speaking to me. Material cost charged was expensive too.Anyway overall the plumbing issue I had is fixed.

Beware of management. They will call 5 minutes before close and not honor plumber’s (workers) estimated. Worker said could run into the second day at the worst, but it should not, management called tried to charge me for 2 days fixed price without even talking to the worker. Went with another company had it done in half day half the price. Beware of estimate fee super high, Everyone else a lot cheaper. Worker was ok. Saved $1800

Update: Professional was informative and prompt. Walked me through each step and gave honest opinions. Updated to a 5 star as they were quick to repair the broken sewage line and came in under the quote. Technicians were very nice and accommodating to my work schedule.

Great company, always use them for plumbing issues. Priced competitively and they can usually be out the next day even without an emergency call. We’ve had a different plumber each time but they have all been professional, courteous, and efficient (which is important when you pay by the hour!).

No one wants to have to call the plumber. Houses ought to run perfectly all the time, and self-repair when anything goes off, right? Sadly, the future promised by the Jetsons or the magical round house at the Henry Ford hasn't arrived. Until it does, we need good plumbers and any homeowner ought to have someone reliable, trustworthy, and available when disaster strikes. Or just for those minor jobs.Waterwork Plumbing fulfills that role for me, especially when it comes to more difficult tasks I just don't feel comfortable doing. When I had an overnight leak in the upstairs bathroom, they were there for me. When a dryer installation went amiss because the delivery guys couldn't figure out how to detach the old hose from the gas line, I didn't mess around. I called Waterwork, and even though we were dealing with an ice storm the night before and everyone realizing they needed a plumber, they squeezed me in.Even better, the plumber became available three hours before the slated time. He was there in a jiffy, respectfully wiping snow off his boots and laying down a towel. He diagnosed the issue with the dryer, checked all the lines, and left me reassured there was no imminent gas leak about to happen and set my house ablaze. I simply couldn't trust my own skills on this one, and the service is worth every penny.Waterwork Plumbing is honest and reliable, with fair rates. We may be spoiled for choice in this area for plumbers, but I trust Waterwork with my home because they consistently produce great work and their repairs have lasted. That's money well spent, and peace of mind has no price tag.

Called Waterworks after having them snake my drain once before. I have always had to do it yearly because of roots but this time, just 3 months later the drain in the basement was backing up. I knew it wasn't good. Called on a Sunday and they said they could come out the next day. I had to work but had someone else in the house and they kept me up to date over the phone and explained that the drain was blocked far out towards the main line and only a 6 inch blade could clear it up. Unfortunately with the old style construction of a 1950s house, the trap did not allow for this. They had to break concrete in the basement to install a new straight style trap. Turns out the old trap had pretty much also disintegrated. They did all the work in about 8 hours THAT SAME MONDAY (crazy fast, right???), poured new concrete and cleaned up too! Put down tarps through the house so that the snowy slushy day didnt track in mud everywhere. The guys were very knowledgeable and had genuine excitement about their jobs so you knew they were going to do a good job. You can't ask for more! Very satisfied and would call back!

The Plumbing Technician, Brian, was professional in appearance and demeanor. He put his boot covers on first thing and he explained in detail the repair plans before he started the work. When the work was completed, I could not tell he was even there; he left the job site very clean. They charge 100 to give you an estimate and then quote you an OUTRAGEOUS amount of money. They tried charging 3200 for a job that will take 6 hours and 200 in material. Don't waste your time

I don’t recommend anyone use this company! I scheduled an appointment with a lady and she never told me there was a $99 service fee charge!!! So yes I was caught off guard with the price. Labor is $177 an hour which is also ridiculous. The reason I say that is be cause that’s not what I wanted to pay but if I’d known the prices first I wouldn’t have even wasted my time having them come out. Then, a lady called me from the office to discuss prices and she was RUDE AS HELL. Her name was Christine or Christina. She had an attitude and hung up on me because another employee failed to inform me on their prices and policy. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY! AGAIN PRICES ARE OUTRAGEOUS. Even the plumber John said so when he was telling me them.

I had someone not show up for a scheduled appointment and needed someone. I called Waterwork and they came out within a half and hour. They were here 2 hours. The guy was nice. No issues. I will say I wish I had received and itemized receipt of the materials they charged me for. I do think they are a little expensive.

Yesterday I found an inch and a half of water in my basement. I spent 3 hours shop vac-ing all of it out, when I found that water was continually backing up into my basement from my floor drains. I couldn't contain it. I called WaterWork immediately and they had a guy out in 30 minutes!!!! The plumber's name was Becker and he set me totally at ease. He snaked my main pipe to the sewer and everything started draining normally. He was confident that the snake would fix the problem. I was so relieved that it wasn't anything more major than that. I can't recommend them enough. Quick. Efficient. Professional. Courteous. Becker, thank you again for your help. You turned my nightmare into a piece of cake.

I used Water works again for preventive maintenance, and they were on point. My appointment was for a later day, but they were able to come out earlier (the day before my actual appointment). I appreciate the diligence.

Our kitchen sink backed up and was a mess. I called Waterworks and the sent out a plumber within a couple hrs It turned out the person who remodeled our kitchen yrs ago cut corners and used unconventional methods to plumb our sink. Jeff took care of everything that visit even rerouting the plumbing. We've used Waterworks before and have been satisfied with the quality of services each time.

Good company I will use them in the future. I do think $175 an hour is a bit high for snaking a drain. ken the plumber was fast efficient and did a good job. The people I talked to were nice and listened to me. They did not discount what I told them. They treated me with respect.

Having troubles with my hot water heater. When asked if they service them they respond “of course” but when the problem is more then relighting the pilot they won’t be able to tell you the problem. Shame on me for having them out 3 times (300+$) to try to fix the problem before they told me to call someone who actually fixes hot water heaters.

I've hired Waterwork in the past for fixing a clogged drain and had great customer service so when I needed a sink installed I gave them a call. Kris was right on time for the appointment. I had them come out before and they did a great job but it was a bit pricey but the plumber was very professional and looked into another issue free of charge which was great.I had another emergency which I called in around 6pm and they told me their emergency rate is 450/hr. That’s during a pandemic with people out of work they have the audacity to quote someone that high which is 3 times the regular rate. Emergencies are called emergencies for a reason and don’t always happen between 9-5. I know everyone has their price but let’s not gouge when people are in need.

I have used Waterworks-Ferndale for several years for plumbing issues and was completely satisfied, but when I hired them to clean my drains, my nightmare began. On October 5, 2022, I paid them $425 to clean my drains, as they had backed up and caused flooding on my first floor. I was told the cause was roots in my underground pipes. The receipt says recommend annual service. On January 2, 2023, THREE MONTHS LATER, I called them again for the SAME PROBLEM. This time I was charged $846 (including after hours even though it was in the morning and holiday fees). I paid to see (I was promised a video for an extra $300) what was going on in the line, and three days later , despite numerous calls, I have not received it. I was told that whatever he did would still require additional work (approximately $700)!! So what did he do??? I was also told that the main drain outside was full of sand, when it actually wasn't the main strain, it was the water shutoff valve and the sand was only one inch deed. Trying to talk to the woman in the office is like talking to a wall. I am dealing with this issue through legal and regulatory channels. Thankfully, I found a more reputable plumbing company to assist me.

Called for a service appointment for invest property. Besides the service fee they attempted to add over 20% in additional charges for using a credit card and sending the service order to me via email for signature. I prefer to use local Ferndale businesses for my business but I would not recommend this vendor. I canceled and found a more reasonable plumber.

Repair was diagnosed and taken care of quickly. Drain was checked to insure a good clean flow of water after job completion. Took one hour for everything.

The guys showed up on time, so I did not have to sit for a 4 hour window which other repair services have missed.They did a thorough, quick inspection and found (best educated guess) where we were leaking.Time will tell so I'll post again in a few months, but their logic was sound.

My sink stopped up the night before a busy day (of course). I called in the morning and they had no appointments for the day but called back within a few minutes with an opening. Jaylen (sp?) showed up within about 20 minutes. He said my pipes were set up incorrectly so it was tough for him to get at the blockage but eventually he fixed it up. Nice guy, very professional and he took care to clean up. Most importantly, it was all fixed up before I had to be on my way. I’ve used them before and will continue to do so.

My sewer backed up from the rain water last Friday. I called Waterworks on Sunday and they sent a young man out today (Monday) because it would have been less expensive than the weekend. I was very dissapointed with the service I received. The young man did try to snake out the drain but he could not find the problem. He never offered a suggestion to pump out the water that was standing in my basement. The only conclusion that he could come up with was for a Sump Pump at the cost of $4,000.00. Needless to say I got a second opinion. This guy drained the standing water and suggested that the Storm Drain be replaced on the outside at considerably less cost.

EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL, DISRESPECTFUL, DISCOURTEOUS STAFF, with ZERO SOCIAL SKILLS! They refused to identify themselves by name when I called; refused to disclose the name of the owner, when asked; and, hung up on me when I asked too many times for the name of the owner. When I asked with whom I were speaking, the response from the first male individual was, What can I help you with? When I asked if he were the owner, his response was the same. I explained that I was a customer and needed to address a situation with the owner. When I asked with whom was I speaking, I was hung up on. When I immediately called back, a woman answered. Thinking I would be received more respectfully, I politely asked her with whom I was speaking. To my surprise, her immediately response was, Why!? At this point, I asked for the name of the owner at least 3 times, in effort to address not only my initial concerns for calling, but now the unprofessional attitudes of the staff as well. At the time of this writing, I still have no idea who owns this establishment. Apparently, they appear more content with generating a quick $95 service call fee, than they are analyzing plumbing problems and earning $1,500 to $2,500.Where this all began is that I was looking for my 3rd opinion and estimate to re-pipe the plumbing from rusted out galvanized metal pipes in one bathroom. After explaining my problem in detail, I was told the cost of the estimate was $95, which would later be deducted from the total cost of repair, if I hired them to do the work. Instead, Drew and Becker arrive on the premises and tell me it will cost $145/hr for an exploratory estimate, with no approximation of how long it could take to explore. Huh??? How does a professional not have even a clue as to the approximate time it would take to tear through a specific length of drywall and estimate how long it would take to replace the galvanized piping behind that wall? After repeatedly seeking clarity, the closest these 2 professionals could commit to was, No, it would not take 24hrs. Anything less than that, 2, 4, 8, 10, 12 hours, etc., they would not give me answer. Was I supposed to say, Okay, go ahead?While they were driving off, I called the office back to get clarity on what I should have expected from the visit. Their staff was horrible! They were evasive when I asked to address a concern with the owner; unwilling to disclose who was in charge; and most importantly, unwilling to assist a customer who wanted to do business with them. It seems as though they are content making $95 for just coming out.Obviously, the $95 will not break me. Otherwise, I never would have sought a 3rd opinion and estimate. However, I am certain this post documenting my experience with them will cost them a lot more. If nothing more, they definitely lost an opportunity to earn more than $95 from me. Not a significant amount to pay to discover who never to refer or do business with.It is interesting how the reviews from the web, such as HomeAdvisor, Angie's List and FB are inconsistent with those of the Better Business Bureau.Don't take my word for it. Experience them for yourself.

Don was very professional & knowledgeable. He couldn't quite identify the problem, but he did his best to narrow it down & didn't try to sell us a more expensive fix that likely wouldn't correct the issue. He inspected the plumbing to ensure we had no serious leaks or other issues. He was courteous, respectful of our home & answered all of the questions I had. This is our second time working with Waterwork Plumbing and both call-outs have been a positive experience.

I called to schedule an appointment to potentially repair my water heater due to the pilot light going and not coming back on. I gave the make, model, and the error code and was told they could fix it and was informed of the hourly rate and this was it. When the plumber arrived I was told that in order for them to fix it I'd have to pay for parts and to source them as well as install so it would be better to just get a new one which I would have to pay for permitting. All of this information should have been provided over the phone ahead of time. I declined service as the price for them to replace the hot water heater was exceptionally high and was charged a service call fee.I understand that the person that came to my house had to get paid to drive there and this disrupted their day however I am still upset that how this company handles and charges for water heater service was not made clear when I called and if it was properly explained the person would most likely be out working on a more lucrative job. If the make of the water heater I have is not one you have experience with and it would take time to identify how to fix as well as find parts make that clear on the phone before you waste everyone's time.

I had them come out to hook up gas stove.. yes they showed up on time and connected it with no problem! The problem I do have is they charged me $75 for parts! I could have gotten the same parts from hardware store for $25!!!! Then if you pay cash they don’t have change! So since I didn’t have the exact amount they kept my change!! Needless to say be prepared to be robbed!!!!!

My particular issue was with a clogged kitchen sink. The plumber that was assigned to my home was Jamie. He did not hesitate for a moment to assess the situation and immediately got to work. What I had noticed in particular was that he used all up-to-date equipment from the snake mechanism to the electric hand saw he used to cut away some of the galvanized pipe of the trap arm that connected to the plastic slip-point coupling. He also had installed the appropriate fastener between the two. Jamie conducted his work in the kitchen thoroughly and cleanly, and also took the time to answer my questions. WaterWork Plumbing from this day (10/31/2017) forward, is my go-to plumbing service and am more than happy to recommend them to anyone!!!

I couldn’t be happier with the hard work that Brian did with the installation of my dishwasher. He was thorough and so helpful. Had such an incredible attitude and never gave up even when I said just forget it don’t keep going. He knew he could fix the problem and install my new dishwasher that same day with no damage to the wood of the cabinetry or the tile of the floor. I truly appreciate all the hard work he did and the punctuality, as well as the responsiveness when needing someone right away. I would highly recommend this company for repairs and major work.

I called on Christmas eve at 9:30 in the morning about drains that were backing up. They had someone out within 2 hours and took care of the problem. I was afraid that I would have to wait until after Christmas to get this done, but a real person answered the phone and they were able to set something up immediately. Firstly, I don’t usually leave bad reviews, but the way waterworks handled my Inspection was disappointing. I am myself is a business owner and I know what makes a difference between good business and mediocre/bad business.A good business not only does their job right, but they also go far beyond. On the other hand, waterwok came to inspect my property and stopped halfway when I have already spent 219 + 100 for inspection and root cleanup, and we have not reached the city pipe yet( 2hrs of work already) , they wanted to charge more using “bigger camera” and come back next day( of course charge more).The next day I contacted another company my friend recommended which I am supposed to hire them at the beginning. They finished it in less than 10 mins for the entire inspection and the sewer line is fine.Conclusion: the young guy who came for the inspection is inexperienced.The company handled my situation poorly, the lady on the phone claimed it was our issue, and she insisted to order another service to figure out the issue which would cost $179 extra. She did not want to direct my call to the owner or manager.I came to them based on the good amount of reviews and I now confused how come a 5 star top rating company treat customer like this?Well , lesson learned

Josh was so fantastic!! He arrived exactly on time. He was friendly, professional and got right to work. My garbage disposal was actually rusted on to the sink. That didn't stop Josh, he just grabbed a saw and got it off. To think the leak was at the electrical source and that my family's safety was at risk is so scary. But Josh took care of us and we are all safe and dry again!! I was even able to continue working while he did the replacement. We are very grateful for your help!

Do not trust this company. We had a sump pump installed in July. Flood in Feb because sump pump failed. The person who came out to fix it said it was improperly installed. $1K in damage and mold. WaterWork does not have a warranty that they are wlling to honor . David the manager told me they dont stand by their work and if I want to, I can go sue them. Would not give me his managers or owners info at request.

They installed my new dishwasher and took out my old one which was a challenge so I’m glad they were able to take care of it for me. The plumber was friendly and pointed out details and explained a number of things that weren’t essential to the job but that I appreciated.

I was very happy with Waterwork when I first used their services after buying an old house in Detroit over two years ago. The experienced plumbers on their team really know their stuff. They replaced the broken stack, routed the tree root clogged external sewer pipe, and more. I was very grateful: my heroes!But I stopped using them after it took multiple requests to get them back out for a bathroom and kitchen remodel estimate (there were serious communication issues with their office personnel). When i did finally get an estimate, it was so disappointingly high, I used another company.But I called them again last week after another tree root issue that a routing company failed to solve. Again, great work. While here, the WW Plumber and I then discussed a couple of basement pipe projects, and with renewed confidence in WW, I called yesterday for a formal estimate so I could plan my budget.The admin person who called back in the afternoon could not have been more condescending and wanted to charge me to send out another plumber to look at the projects, which she insisted was outside work --even though I had diagrams drawn by the plumber who had just been here. I then wrote the office with a photo of the broken basement pipe issue and plumber's diagram, and to call them out on their rudeness (and mistakenness).Instead of just apologizing, the OMgr responded i should use another company. Which, of course, I will.--In short, good plumbers, though very pricey for some things. But there are serious, ongoing administration issues at WW if you need some customer support. -- Something is amiss there.

I wanted to leave a glowing review of my experience with Jeff at WaterWork Plumbing for coming out on a Saturday to unclog my shower drain and fix my kitchen faucet. Not only was he super kind, professional, and helpful (he explained what he was doing and gave me tips on how to avoid similar problems in the future) but he also went above and beyond by offering to inspect my pipes for free and educating me about the plumbing system in my house. He was also very respectful of my situation as I have a pregnant wife with severe morning sickness and he did his best not to disturb her. I couldn't recommend Waterworks more highly, and if you happen to get Jeff out to your house, I can assure you you'll be in great hands.

Four stars, two stars, one star - I guess. Second update here. First snake job=no change in symptoms. Was offered a full refund, but I chose to negotiate to try to get the job done versus starting another plumber hunt. I took time off work, unpaid, so that these guys could come early in the morning to my home the second time. Second snake job=no better than the first unfortunately. This time I was the one to initiate trying to receive a refund since the owner, Dave, seemed to be a generous and reasonable man the first time. When I was on the phone with him he was all of a sudden short with me, unwilling to compromise and mentioned seeing my reviews I wrote. My review started at four stars for a quick response time and a guy with a good attitude showing up to my door, patient with all my analytical questions about their work. I changed it to two stars after the secretary informed me that a refund was not being considered after $500 worth of work had been done with no relief of any issues, not even half a day's worth. After our phone call, I'm changing it to no stars because his last words after telling me he saw my review were something along the lines of I no longer wish to take phone calls or do business with you in the future, I'm getting off the phone now.Ironically enough, I initially called WaterWork Plumbing because of their good reviews on Yelp, and now, because I left a negative one, the owner just simply refuses to do future business with me.That's how this business owner wants to handle an unsatisfied customer instead of being persistent about making it right for them?DISCLAIMER: My review is my personal experience. This is my second time using WaterWorks and I've been impressed both times not only with the professionalism but the pricing as well. A flat rate of $165 per hour is better than a initial show up fee that most companies charge not including the work that needs to be done. Definitely using WaterWork form here on out. Also ask for Josh not only did he do what he needed to do, he also demonstrated and talked me through the issues I was having.

Wow - my new sump pump with automatic water-driven backup is a work of plumbing art! Waterwork replaced all of the old galvanized and copper plumbing in my house with an elegant and simplified pex system.Clean water! No rust! Good pressure! No more fear of floods in basement! Well worth the investment of two days and 5 grand.The crew was prompt, friendly, polite, hardworking, clean and tidy, answered all questions, and actually fun to work with.

The company was prompt and did a good job with their primary assignment of cleaning out a drain in the basement of an apartment building, but although the work order specified floor cleaning was to be done after drain cleaning, none was done. It wasn't until the tenants in the building complained about the stench that we realized the plumbers hadn't done a complete job. Then it took days to find a cleaner that would do the work, with hours of phone calls and texts to get the situation sorted out, all extra work that 10-15 minutes with a mop and bleach would have avoided.

Amazing service. Jeff was open and honest about my repair options. The valve that serviced my outside faucet needed replacement. The work was done quickly and professionally. Waterworks Plumbing is now my go to Plumbing service. I can highly recommend there service.

If I could give this company 10 stars I would. I live in a 100 year old house. That has over the years had back up issues in my basement. I normally have a company out every couple years just to snake the lines going to the sewer to prevent backups. With Covid and not staying on top of maintenance, my sewer in the basement began backing up really bad. The first company I called, came out and told me my pipes were collapsed and it would be 4K to fix it. There was a few more things that led me to believe that the company was either hiring incompetent workers or they were trying to take advantage of a single women. My grandma had suggested I use the company she used. So I called Waterwork. Arnie came out and within 15 minutes told me what was going on and located another drain in my basement that I didn’t even know existed and I have lived in my home for 14 years. My drain was not collapsed at all; it simply ran in a different direction to another drain. He not only fixed it but educated me on the sewer system, where it runs and how it runs. To say I am grateful is an understatement. Not only did he fix this problem and save me from being scammed out of 4K. He gave me the knowledge to not be scammed in the future. I first became aware of Waterwork through the Inside Outside Guys. I had a sewer problem and the plumbers I had contacted didn't correct it, even after several tries. Ryan came out and dug up my yard, in the snow, and replaced 45 feet of sewer line.My house was built in '61 about the only way to turn the water off is at the sidewalk. I had them send out another team member to replace the laundry tub, pump, 7 valves and kitchen sink cold water faucet. I had the quote in February but with one thing and another, didn't get it done until this month.When my 15 year old Toto toilet started refilling very slowly, I called again and they sent someone out to replace the fill valve.Unfortunately, the very next day, the water heater went and another team came out to replace that.I've now dealt with 4 teams. They are all professional and know their stuff. I've been extremely satisfied and recommended them to others who have had similar experiences.

Our plumber Jeff was a godsend. He was here within an hour of our call and promptly traced the drainage issues in our basement to roots in our sewer line. I moved to ferndale around 14 years ago and have found it difficult to find all of the services you rely on. We have done multiple jobs with waterwork- they’ve installed a shower, unclogged our 100 year old pipes, fixed leaks and have always been professional and great to work with. We’ve tried a lot of different plumbers before trying Waterwork- and there isn’t a better one in the area.

I’ve used WaterWork for clogged toilets, toilet, sump pump, and gas line replacements, water heater pipe repairs, and an entire sewer back flow prevention system. Their customer service is consistently 5 star, the techs are the best in the business, and the work is the highest quality. Worth every penny, and I’m so glad a friend recommended them to me.

Don't waste your time or money. I had the company to come out and install a kitchen faucet & under sink filter.. the guy they sent only knows faucets without filters. After calling several times to get a solution, they never returned my call....I paid professional plumbing prices for an apprentice. This should be illegal.

WaterWork is a company that stands by their work. We had the unfortunate experience of recieving subpar service from a now former employee back in June. After the recent bad rain storm our basement flooded and a revealed a major issue that had been misrepresented by the former employee all those months ago. After going to the office and explaining our issue WaterWork sent out an expert at no charge that very day who figured out exactly what went wrong back in June, apologized up and down for what had happened to us and FIXED IT. We required a major main line dig and I can't say enough about what an AMAZING, kind, professional they have in their employee Ryan. He went above and beyond for us many times over the course of a 2 week headache.I would recommend WaterWork to anyone, for any plumbing issue. Period.

I live in a house that has two apartments in it an upper and lower and I live in the lower. Well my ceiling kept leaking and dripping water when my neighbor would use their bathtub. The rental company had to prior gentleman out to look at the issue and neither could figure out where the water was leaking from so they called Water Work Plumbing to take a look. The plumber that came out was on time, very professional and he figured out the problem and took care of it in no time at all!! I couldn't of asked for better service. John came out to help us a couple hours ago and did a fantastic job! He not only did the work required for our shower. He also encouraged me to come and look over what he had done so he could teach me how to adjust something minor if needed, without having to call them and get charged. Plus the price was super fair for the work done with no attempts to gouge or inflate. Dispatch gave great customer service, were flexible when I needed to change my appt, and called to let me know when John had been dispatched and was on his way. We've used them at least three times now and have been very happy each time.😊

The main drain in my basement was backed up. Jalen from Waterwork Plumbing was out in about an hour, examined the issue which wasn’t a typical fix based on the age of the main drain, found a workaround solution and worked magic in less than one hour. Would highly recommend.

This is the second time I have used Waterworks plumbing and each time was wonderful. Don came out and installed a water heater vent pipe and drip line. Great service and great conversation. He made sure I understood everything he was doing so I felt very comfortable with the work.

I want to start off by stating I HIGHLY recommend WaterWork Plumbing! I had an issue with another company who didn't even want to trouble shoot the issue and jump right into digging up my basement floor to repair my storm drain. I explained to the owner that I had water flowing from the base of my chimney into my floor drain for 2-3 days after the torrential downpour we had. Turns out my storm drain had a huge root growing through it, preventing the water from being drained. Arnie was sent out to my house and instead of jumping to conclusions saying the floor needed to be dug out and storm drain replaced, he began the huge task of snaking the 70+ year old storm drain. He was able to remove the huge root and water began flowing out to the main drain and out to the street. There was tons of standing water sitting under the house and forced pressure is what caused the water to come up through the base of the chimney as it was a weak spot. The water continued to flow out of the storm drain for a couple of hours proving how backed up it was. Arnie was so knowledgable and informative throughout the process, I felt that I had been given a 101 on snaking drains. I am very thankful he was able to explain how everything worked. While he was out, I had him take a look at a second drain that handles laundry / kitchen. He was able to snake that drain as well as it was also backed up. Snaking was proven to be the correct solution compared to jetting. Jetting would have made the issue worse, and if the other company would have dug up my floor without attempting to snake my drain, my whole basement would have flooded out with the standing water. Thankfully I obtained a second opinion and picked WaterWork Plumbing after reading Google reviews. Will use them for all plumbing needs moving forward.

WaterWork Ferndale came to my rescue after I was getting jilted by different handymen in the last several months for a tub spout and shower head repair and replacement. I appreciated the ease of the booking system and the quick follow up by their office to confirm appointment details. They were very clear of the costs which I found fair and reasonable. The day of my appointment- the office called me to make sure the time frame given still worked for me and dispatched Larry to my home. Larry was professional and polite and got the job done right! If I had known about WaterWork SOONER, I would have booked them then. Will definitely be using them in the future for my plumbing needs!

I did a silly thing, I thought I asked the price for my job when I made the appointment, but I must not have. We have someone out to do the same job every several years, and I've never had sticker shock afterwards. He was courteous and did the job. I just think that $160 for 15 minutes labor and a couple cheap materials is ridiculous. Afterwards I still had air and rust in the lines and some rusty water splashed around, but no big deal. Do yourself a favor and GET QUOTES. I understand there is often a hefty 'just to show up' fee, but then if it's a simple, quick job do you really need to tack on another $40? I wish I'd used another company.

Had a backup in our basement this morning, and gave these guys a call based on the good reviews. I definitely wasn't disappointed! Patrick was super-knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and took care of the problem in no time. He shared some of his knowledge with me on how to hopefully prevent the issues in the future, advised me on some tools I could keep around the house to need a plumber less often, and even took time to look at a couple other things I had questions about while he was here, just to do it. No doubt in my mind that when I'm having some projects done in the near future, this will be where I turn for the plumbing work.

My main drain backed up and my husband sent a plumber he knows out to clear it. After 15 minutes, they came and told me that they were pulling back mud and the line was broken. This is a very costly repair, so I wanted another opinion. I called WaterWork and they had someone at my home within an hour. They put a camera in my drain and found the drain wasn't broken, just had A LOT of roots. My drain is now open and flowing great. Thank you to Rob for your hard work and WaterWork for sending him out. You guys saved me a ton of money.

I had WaterWork come out after stating my thermostat was bad on my water tank. After quite a debacle, it turned out that WaterWork couldnt perform the fix. I initially raised concerns, and after speaking with David, he fully apologized and took responsibility and offered to rectify the situation. No one is perfect--but getting a call from the manager was greatly appreciated. Although I did have a somewhat rocky start, the staff has been very professional and I would be willing to use WaterWork again as they do come highly recommended.Shout out to Tanya who has been a great pleasure to deal with at WaterWork.

WaterWork Plumbing was very fast, friendly, and on time! I called thinking that we wouldn't get an appointment same day, but they were able to send someone out the same morning. They originally gave us a two hour window, and he showed up right at the beginning of the window which never happens with other places so that was great! Becker our plumber was able to diagnose and fix the issue all within 45 minutes and was friendly the whole time. It was also very reasonably priced for the work he did. Would highly recommend them if you have any plumbing issues in the local Ferndale area!

I hired Waterwork Plumbing to come and fix a leaking pipe that was caused by Cregger Plumbing. I had had sewer repairs completed by Cregger and they didn’t level or anchor my slop sink and it walked and a pipe became disconnected because of it. The technician was helpful, professional, and friendly. I would use them again.

I called to make an appointment for a blocked drain. I thought, maybe two to three days. They happened to have a plumber in the area. He was here within a half an hour and finished in about 45 minutes. The person was professional, and courteous. As long as my drain remains good I have had nothing but a good first time client experience. Would recommend.

Had flooding in my basement due to sub pump. The young man got the sub pump working without replacing but let me know that the sub pump was corroded and it could help again but I was really up to me what I wanted to do. I decided to replace the sub pump and it works wonderfully. Great service. Great price. Very fair.

I am so grateful to WaterWork Plumbing. A few years ago I bought a home with a lot of plumbing issues and went with a cheap plumber at the time to save money- big mistake. Since then I’ve switched to WaterWork and could not be happier. They are responsive, honest, do a wonderful job, and I never feel like I am being ripped off. I have some pretty major work that will be needed to finally fix all my homes plumbing issues that will require digging up the back yard and I will not be trusting anyone but WaterWork to do that for me.

I can't recommend WaterWork more! I had a different company come and try to snake my sewer drain. They said they couldn't snake it. Some sort of pipe shift and it would have to be dug up and replaced.WaterWork came out and did it first try. Were able to get the whole drain clean and showed me on camera what the condition of my sewer was. I had a fairly significant root bunch that they were able to work through and now its flowing great.Skip the other guys. Just pay once and come here. Trust me. The guys are awesome, super friendly, and get the job done quick.

Had company install a shutoff valve and connection for ice maker in new refrigerator. After turning water off, water still seemed to be in pipes (so much water in system). Worker disconnected water at meter and water still trickled at new shutoff valve. Worker had to put in a second shutoff valve so he could solder connections. This added more time and parts cost to whole job (it happens).Worker did not seem prepared with materials needed. Had to borrow two buckets, a step stool, and a lighter to do the job. Worker did not clean the work area (left bucket with water where he reconnected at meter, bucket by where he completed the work, and lots of hardened solder all over the top of the water heater) before he left. I did not expect to have to provide materials for the job to be done.As the worker was writing the invoice, he said, I assume you're using a credit card, so you know there is a 5% charge to use a card. After I told him that no one said anything about a charge, he said, Well, you can call and complain later. I asked if I could go to the bank (two blocks away) and get cash. He allowed me to get cash from the bank.Overall, the job was completed, the worker was nice, the company responded to my initial inquiry quickly, and set up an appointment for the next day. I would use WaterWork Plumbing again.

Great experience today with Waterworks Plumbing ! They fixed 2 leaks and issues with 2 toilets. The plumber was very professional and thoroughly explained what the issue was and what he was doing to fix it. I always had an issue with hot water coming out strong enough in the shower. He noticed that and fixed that issue too ! I will be calling them again if I have other issues !

I called this morning after finding out the drain in my basement was backing up and causing sewage to come out. This was the only place out of 5 that could come out today. They estimated between 11-1pm. I got a call at 10am asking if I was available sooner as someone could be here in 30 mins. I was so happy about that! Nico was here within the 30 mins. He was very professional and nice, let me know what was happening and why it was happening and the next steps I should consider so the problem doesn’t keep happening. I am very happy with the service today and it was very reasonably priced!

Excellent experience! They called before showing up, and came on time. I got a rundown of how my drain worked, where possible issues could occur, and why. I really appreciated the explanation. The camera view of the line was explained very well also. Having them come back out to do repairs next week as well. Definitely recommend WaterWork if you need any plumbing work done!*Editing to add an update: Bryan and Becker came back out a week later to do the repairs, and were phenomenal. It was a heavy, dirty job, and they stayed all day to make sure it got done. Throughout, they kept us informed of what was going on, and were extremely professional with the work. Communication and client service were top tier. When it was done, drying cement was all that indicated they were there. They cleaned up all their work and left it spotless. The repairs alleviated a problem that had been running for quite awhile, and since they finished, everything is perfect. One of two drains in my basement was clogged up. I would shower and water would bubble up out of drain and go down. I would flush the toilet (doesn't overflow) and again it would bubble up in drain and go down. Called WWP@9:45am on 11/07/2020 and spoke with David who was very tentative and concerned of the issue I was having. Within literally 5 min, David called back to inform me a plumber (Jeff) was enroute. Jeff came out, inspected and cleared my drain in under an hour. Just had two leaks fixed from water work plumbing with their technician Ken Thomas. Ken was friendly, informative, and incredibly efficient he had the job done in less then an hour. He arrived promptly even in 6-8” of snow on the ground. I feel bad our sidewalk and driveway had not been shoveled yet he didn’t even say a word and I could hear him wiping his shoes before walk-in in to try avoid bringing in the snow. Just an overall great guy and great company very affordable price too. Very happy to know I’ve got a go-to plumbing service. Also I called during the week and was able to have them come out that same weekend! Top notch 10/10 would recommend.

They were here same day even though it wasn't an emergency. This was a residential job, toilet not working. Bryan was efficient and gave me options and repaired only what was necessary. I've had so many tradesmen give me the you might as well as do this too while I'm here spiel and turn a $200 into a $700 job.Bryan pointed out some things that may need repair in future (they for sure will, but I truly felt like he was just giving me information and not selling me) Job was done well, and Bryan was respectful of my home, bringing his own towel to put down to wipe his boots, putting on booties over his boots and wearing a mask from start to finish. The price seemed a bit high when quoted (labor wise), but in the end turned out less expensive than when Ive had other plumbers out that don't break down their pricing as clearly. I will recommend this company to all my clients and am likely to call them to do some preventive maintenance in the future.

We had a leaking pipe in the basement. We called the company on Wednesday, they had an opening on Thursday and fixed it within a short time. Their plumbing expert Niko was professional and friendly. He explained everything and he didn’t leave a big mess.I plan to use them again if we have another need.

Tech came spent 30 minutes looking at our concerns. Say he was going to give estimate. Spent next 45 minutes in his truck. When I got in my car to leave, then then produce a 3 paragraph estimate, indicating he only came out give estimate estimate high just in case. As such most people would say no. Thus lost $95.

The Plumber (Kenny) did excellent work installing 4 faucets and supply lines. The work area was left clean and neat. Price was reasonable. My family and I have used WaterWorks several times. Very pleased!

The plumber was late for my appointment by about 30 mins because one of the receptionist failed to send me the needed paperwork the day before. I had to pay an extra $35 to receive a report from the Sewer Scope (needed this to close on my house). The plumber simply uploaded a 3 minute video to YouTube, where he quickly ran through the inspection, and didn't explain any of the issues in laymen terms. I had already called the company several times before to check on where the plumber was for the appointment, receiving the needed paperwork so he could do the inspection, and then asking for them to send my report. I didn't want to call them anymore, so I contacted my realtor who was able to explain what the plumber was saying. As much as I paid for the service and the report, it should NOT have been this difficult.NEW EDIT - Responding to the owner belowWhen I initially called to set up this appointment, I let them know immediately that I wouldn't be present for the inspection, but the current homeowners would be along with my realtor. They said that wouldn't be an issue. No one gave me any type of time frame for arrival, they simply stated my appointment was at 9 am, so that's when I expected them to be there. My realtor then text me the day of the inspection, at 9:15 am, to let me know they still hadn't arrived and asked me to call them, so I did. Between the time of me setting the appointment and the actual day of the appointment, I called this company 12 times. Only one of those times was to make the actual appointment. How did I generate this number? Simply looking at the Call History in my phone. The Video Report, I can take part of the blame on that one. The email address I gave them, which somehow received a document from them the day prior with no issues, for some reason didn't receive the video link without any issues. However, the majority of my calls were requesting to see when it would be sent. Out of the few people that I talked to, no one ever explained that it wouldn't be sent until the next day. I assumed it would come out the very same day, as did the report from my Home Inspection from a different company. Then the next day came and I still didn't have the report. I guess by the 4th call on that day at 3:04 pm (how many times I called concerning the report in one day) it was finally ready and said they'd send it over. I had also called them 3 times before on the previous day, concerning the report, but everyone gave me different information about when it would be ready. I'm thankful for the very last person who finally explained the process to me and how it wouldn't be available until the next day. Concerning the actual video report, yes the Plumber explained everything he was seeing in his report, but like I mentioned above, none of it was in laymen terms. Yes he explained the issues, but how do I correct those issues? Are they serious? How long do I have to fix them? Do you have any recommendations. Just because I wasn't there, didn't mean he couldn't take an extra 30 seconds or so to go through that breakdown in his report. My absence is a poor excuse for the service rendered, bottom line up front.I'm not posting this review to be nasty, I'm simply letting the company know of my experience and how they can correct the issues I faced so the next customer who requests this particular service can be wowed by their professionalism and services rendered. It's the small things that count.

I called at 10:00am this morning (12/31/20) after being referred by my neighbor who is a plumber himself. Kenny came out at 11:30am.He cleaned out the kitchen and main bathroom stack lines into the main sewer lines in the basement! He was very thorough and very professional in his work! He also cleaned up on his way out!I am very impressed and will call them in the future with any issues!

I have been dealing with a backed up kitchen sink for a month. I've had 3 people look at it and was told it was most likely roots in my sewage line. Waterworks was able to get to the root of the problem 😂 and it wasn't roots. They found a clog from the previous homeowners of grease and laundry lint. I had 3 other people snake this and NOBODY found it. They were on time, early in fact, told me everything they were doing every step of the way and how much it would cost BEFORE they started doing it. I could not find a plumber for the City of Detroit. Waterworks was professional, prompt arrived prior to scheduled time , prompt return calls alerts,price wise was excellent. You can set up annual appointments for scheduled drain cleaning. I find this service excellent.

The serviceman came to fix a leaking toilet and replace small pipes under the sinks.He advised me that I use Toto replacement parts instead of the 3 good quality I had purchased from home-depot. He provided me with the cost of the part. After he completed the work, the invoice he gave me for the parts were outrageously expensive when you compare the cost of the parts on Amazon. What he should have charged me, which is no more than $100, was $229. He charged me for a replacement unit and then a flapper. The unit came with a flapper. But he chose to charge me for both separately. In addition, he charged me over $35 for the time to complete the the writing of the invoice and cleaning his truck. 15 minutes extra. He said he should have charged me 5 minutes more forgetting that he came 5 minutes late. The total cost of the job shouldn’t have been more than $300, it was over $500, with all the hidden costs. So, beware.

Yesterday I requested a quote on Angie's list and Water Work plumbing responded within the hour. The lady over the phone was pleasant, and an appointment was set for today to have my toilet replaced. The professional was punctual, brought the model toilet that I decided to purchase from them! The whole process from start to finish was done in a timely manner and I'm more than satisfied with the purchase and install! Also he cleaned up the area when finished. I used them a year or so ago to clean out a slow floor drain that would backup sometimes. They were able to come out on the same day and cleaned out the drain no problem. I plan on using them again for another project and will update this review after, but I don't expect it to change much.

Chris from Waterworks was the perfect professional. He was on time, polite, courteous, and answered all of our questions. He repaired too many items to list and kept us informed of the cost estimate as each repair was being completed. We will definitely be using Waterworks again because of Chris.

Fast and great as always. Called and with in 20 min at my door and job complete within 2 hours. Highly recommend. Nico was the tech and he was on point.

Great service; reliable, professional and fair pricing. I have used WaterWork Plumbling a few times over the course of the last several years. Had an unexpected water back-up in basement recently, called and Becker arrived within about 3 hours; he fixed the issue and offered some suggestions about preventative measures, without being pushy. Becker was professional and courteous. The quick response stopped additional back-up in the basement, what a relief!! Previous calls were done by other plumbers on staff, all have been good. Mark was prompt and courteous. He demonstrated and completely explained the problem. He also informed me of all options available to me should I have this problem again. I will definitely keep WaterWork on speed dial for any other plumbing needs.

Had the main snake out on 11/19/20214 days later drain backing up ,called and was told there is no warranty on snaking out the drain , happy to come back out at $165.00an hour .Not happy moving on from waterworksDenis Carmody

WaterWork plumbing is excellent. They did a beautiful job which was priced great. I am having them come back to do other plumbing work in my home. You can trust them to do the best job.

Brent was right on time, was courteous, personable, wore shoe coverings and analyzed the situation. He explained what he could do, went over pricing and parts/cost. Brent did a quality job fixing the problem. He offered the option of redeeming a savings coupon so it would reflect on the invoice (which was reasonable in my opinion). I could not have asked for a better experience. I would contact them in the future without shopping around.

Highly recommend, reached out to them via Angie's List Friday night and received a call the next morning. They scheduled me a couple hours later and problem was fixed by noon on Saturday. Plumber who came out was very friendly, knowledgeable, and personable. He did a great job and also looked at a couple other concerns of ours as well. I would definitely recommend for future plumbing issues.EDIT:Used them again 11/17 and were very friendly and quick to resolve our leak under our sink.

I just had Water Work Plumber completed some work at my house. Arnie and Anthony were the best. They showed up on time, they were very professional. They had to break up my basement floor. They removed the floor replace my traps,
they cleaned up.

I had an old outdoor faucet that was continually dripping. My basement is completely finished and it was unclear where the shutoff valve was. Mark measured outside, came inside, and found the valve on the first try. Minimal mess, pure professionalism. Great experience.!

Waterworks takes great care of their customers! Mark came to look at two plumbing issues; a slow kitchen faucet and a slow outdoor spigot. He found the issue and quickly fixed it inside, the other issue took a bit longer and he made sure that he had enough time to not leave me without water. That issue was then fixed quickly as well. Communication was great, both problems were fixed and my house was left clean.

My basement was flooded. Called Waterworks Plumbing on Hilton Rd. to set up an appoint for the next morning at 9am. Zach, one of their crew members, was at my house ready to go and knocked on my door at exactly 9am. He then went down into my basement, quickly assessed the situation, came up with a logical diagnosis while describing a visual of the underground layout/workings of the three pipes he was interested in and then got to work. He fed the meanest looking drain snake I have ever seen down the storm water pipe and pulled out a root that grew into the clay pipe about 15' from the house. We could hear the water that collected in my basement as well as the collected storm water in the pipes surrounding the house rushing through the drain quickly after the blockage was fully removed. I had no idea how this all worked but Zach made it seem simple and answered all my questions regarding the job at hand. Took him a little over an hour to get it done. Well worth the money. Thanks.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. The office staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Nico, our technician, was personable, knowledgeable and had our drain issue resolved quickly! Very professional company. Highly recommend.

Great experience working with Mark. He knew exactly what the problem was as soon as I showed him. He was very friendly and got the job done quickly and professionally.

We contacted Waterworks in late September 2017 to fix our sewer issue. We have lived in our house for 3 years and about 6 months into moving in, we had issues with the basement areas getting clogged and backing up into the toilets and shower. We initially called another plumbing company who came out to fix the clog (which they did) and they stated there were some tree roots in the line and they couldn't guarantee it would last for a long time. We expected to deal with the issue once or twice a year, but we were wrong. The lines were clogged again within 1 week and when I called, they said sorry there was nothing they could do since there was no guarantee, but they would be happy to send somebody out again at full cost. Now we did understand that it could happen again, but really, 1 week later?!? This poor taste led me to invest in some Home Depot options and we always had the issues occur every several months.In September of 2017 we had all we could take. I called Waterworks, based on some excellent reviews that I saw online and I couldn't be happier about the decision that I made. Arnie and Jerry came out and took care of us. We decided to use the camera as well to make sure we could see what roots or other issues were causing the problem. Arnie and Jerry spent an hour or so to thoroughly clean our drains and then showed us the camera. There wasn't a speck of dirt or anything in there when they were done. I waited to write this review since I had been burned before by what I thought was a good job. I highly recommend Waterworks to anybody who has plumbing issues. Not only did they provide excellent service, but Arnie and Jerry didn't try to sell me on a bunch of additional services and just did a great job. If you call please ask for Arnie or Jerry, I'm confident they won't disappoint!

The technician was kind, observant and answered all questions. He took a look at my water heater and furnace set up and recommended an HVAC company you tent to recommend but I lost my notes so if you could forward that contact info, that would be great. I need a new water heater and the tear up involves the furnace. Thanks for as usual a great service. We’ll continue to use your company.

Your receptionist was rude. Parsed words with me. I called you equipment snake and she called your equipment cutter. I had two snake processes didn’t work. She was so extremely unhelpful. I can’t believe you book any work with that kind of intro to your company.

I scheduled the appointment online the day before. Within an hour I received a call from WaterWorks and a set up a time for the next day. As the work necessary was not urgent or they would have come the same day. Jeff promptly arrive 15min early. Listened to my concerns then explained what he felt is the basic issues. As I watched his work he communicated an excellent interactive vibe I appreciate from a business these day. Excellent service by Ryan who camera scoped, cleared and cleaned out a sewer line. Ryan was prompt, polite, knowledgeable, skilled and thorough. He took the time to show me exactly what he was doing, and answered all my questions. He advised me on what I may want to do in the future. He also saved me a lot of money. A plumber from another company told me I needed to replace the sewer line immediately because of large tree roots clogging the sewer system. Ryan used large cutters to cut and remove the roots. Water Work Plumbing will be taking care of all my plumbing needs in the future.JoAnn

I have worked with this company before and they are wonderful. Everyone is so helpful and polite, but the best part is they know what they are doing. I have had many bad experiences with other companies and these people are so experienced, thorough, fair, and they will help you with your problem. Becker was very good , I really appreciate his great attitude and he really knew what he was doing.

I had a shower temperature issue, i was very please that this company was able to come out the same day that i called...i was also very happy with the work that Don the plumber had done...my only issue is that the single part that was needed (shower cartridge) was a 300% markup from what i saw the part listed as online. I am aware that there will always be markup in parts (everyone needs to make money), but 300% to me and anyone i know is outrageous.

Nico was fast, friendly and informative. He cleared our main drain of blockage as well as the floor and slop sink drain. I'm very happy with the high quality of the service and level of expertise.

Spoke with David and he sent Kenny to fix the issue of my sump pump. The issue was with the GFI plug that needs to be replaced. Very polite and professional explaining about my brand of pump. Affordable price for service call. Will be using them again.

Jeff came to our house was amazing. I’m fairly handy myself so I had tried everything before bringing in a pro. He thought of things that I would not have, was never without an option until the problem was solved. Can’t say enough, will definitely use them again…hopefully not too soon though lol

A technician from WaterWork Plumbing was here today and he did an excellent job of fixing my bathtub faucet leak and replacing the handles and spout. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. Top notch!

The guys were on time, diagnosed the problem in a few minutes, had the part, fixed the issue and was friendly. I’d use them again. I called them at 1pm on 10/9, they were at my house by 2:30. Great service.

Friendly plumbers who provided quick and straight forward work. They gave a window of 3-5, called about an hour and a half before that time slot and said they were available sooner, and actually arrived about 30 min prior to the designated time. Everyone hates waiting in that window, so it was nice not to have to. They made it incredibly easy to be a customer!

We had a sewer drain backup in our basement. I called WaterWork Plumbing this morning and they showed up within a few hours. Very pleased with the service and kindness of Kenny who helped us get our situation resolved! We will be contacting this company in the future for any of our plumbing needs.
