Roto-Rooter was available immediately to solve our urgent leaking tub/shower faucet issue. Seth C. made the visit, and provided expert help by cleaning the corroded pipe heads and then advised me exactly how to fix the issue on my own to save us hundreds of dollars. I was nearly able to fix it myself on first attempt, and he came back a second time the next day free of charge to solve the last minor issue. I am very impressed with their philosophy of educating the customer, and while they could have performed a more costly repair, they provided advice & encouragement, and I will definitely call them again in the future, which is exactly how respectable business should work!

Had a valve leak leading into my sump pump. Basement was getting wet pretty fast. It was almost 8pm and someone still came out and got me fixed up. Service guy was really friendly and knowledgeable, helped me understand quite a bit of things

Bad business. paid them to unclog main line, they broke it. they still charged is and gave estimate to repair their damage, we agreed and set appointment, they never showed and will not answer phone. We're out the money and still have a damaged line. Contacted the prosecutor's office and they said someone else had filed suit against this person the day before and ours will be held until the other case gets moving. I do not recommend!

The guys at Sterling's Plumbing are the best to be had. Sometimes they don't show up exactly when they say they will, but scheduling is difficult because they don't know how much trouble they will run into, but overall, they arrive when they say they will and their work, which is the important part is always A+

I've been meaning to leave this review for over a year, but better late than never! During a huge storm here in Columbus, when we later learned that thousands of people had sump pump failure and basement flooding, ours began to flood around 11 in the evening. When we contacted Benjamin Franklin, they were at our house in less than an hour, even though it was nearly midnight by that point. The gentleman turned out to be the owner, who had been working nonstop all evening and said he'd probably continue to work until the early hours of the AM. Still he was polite and professional, and worked quickly. He showed us what had failed and explained how he was replacing/repairing things, and then, he waved his after-hours fee without us even asking.
The next day, I noticed that when the sump pump finished each cycle, there was a hissing sound, and small amount of water escaping from the seal. I called, and they were again out very quickly and fixed it for no additional charge. We've yet to need a plumber again, but we will undoubtedly be calling them when the time comes.

I've relied on The Local Plumber LLC twice now - water heater install and also to mend a leaking pipe - and both times were exceptional. Trevor was responsive and quick to get me on his schedule, his prices are fair and most important - he is honest and looks out for you. When he installed our water heater, he went above and beyond by checking the surrounding area and found an exhaust pipe that had disintegrated and was leaking carbon monoxide. He didn't have to take that extra step, but I am so grateful that he did, for our safety! He explains your options well and doesn't pressure you. And he's just a genuinely kind, sharp and capable guy. He's who we will always call first!

I had a leaking shower in my house and decided to give these guys a call. They exceeded my expectations and do excellent work. I had an older style 2 handle shower faucet and they upgraded me to a more modern single handle faucet. I love it and would absolutely recommend this place. Awesome plumbers and amazing work!

Life savers!!! Had an underground water main break just outside of my home which was causing my sump pump to run 24/7 non stop! My condo association Called American Leak Detection and they were there within the hour and located the leak in no time. Thanks to the great team of Wolfe, Rich and Tim, my water pipe was repaired the same day! I would highly recommend this company and especially this team. So experienced and so polite. We needed an immediate service call as our water heater had gone out, was leaking and only had cold water. I called several friends for thoughts on referrals. Decided after calling around for estimates why not try a company that only repairs/replaces water heaters. They were here the same day, arrived the approximate time promised.
