On March 2, 2023 I requested service from Roto Rooter for my laundromat in Reynoldsburg Ohio. The technician arrived and told me the line needed to be hydro jetted and it would cost $1225. I asked him if he was going to clean the line all the way to the main. He said yes and that's what I expected to have done. He tried two drains and never got the hydro jet nozzle in more than 6ft. That did get the water flowing again, but he said due to scaling on the pipe he couldn't run the jet to the main....but he still charged me $1225 to hydro jet 12 ft of pipe. About an hours worth of work.I called the office to see if they would do anything and they told me that they charge by the job and not by the hour. I told them they didn't do the job they said they would doI didn't expect them to do it for free, but to charge full price for a job they only did 1/16 of isn't right.

Weekend emergency calls are very expensive, as you would expect. The plumber that arrived worked quickly and thoroughly taking care of my backed up main drain. Good service, just not a good price.

I called a week ahead to schedule a visit to assess a toilet that was intermittently running and replace the transparent hose under my kitchen sink (from the dishwasher) which was 10 years old and a little moldy inside. Scheduling the visit went well and I anticipated an uneventful visit from the Baumann company. Two workers were sent for some reason, but it did appear as if the young man was in training mode. The hose was repaired, as well as the toilet. The workers did leave to purchase a part for the toilet.
My concerns are that I was billed for the time they were away, I was charged with a service call fee which I knew nothing about, I did not receive the receipt for the items that were purchased although I was specifically billed for them, and he described problems on the service call sheet that I did not say to him on the phone.
When the work was done and I received the bill, I had one of the workers contact the owner. After expressing my concerns, Mr. Baumann told me flatly: You should have asked, when I mentioned the service call fee (his workers were present and we were on speaker phone). He made it clear that he did not care about my concerns. It was my problem...and I still have not received a receipt for items he billed me for.
When I initially called, I told Mr. Baumann I had 2 projects, one at home and one which was business related and that the second would depend on how the first was handle. I guess he forgot that...or didn't care. Needless to say, I won't use him again or refer him to others.

While I wish my water heater replacement wouldn’t have been such an expense, likely a feeling shared by many, I am happy with the experience of working with ARS/RR. The consultant was pleasant, helpful, and willing to discuss my concerns regarding the quote when he came to evaluate my situation. The installers were great guys with positive attitudes, and they took it upon themselves to ensure they left no trace. It was a rainy day, which is not ideal for floors and carpets, especially with installers in work boots and water heaters being transported up and down stairs on dollies. To my delight, they wore protective booties and they even cleaned the dolly wheels and covered them with duct tape to keep our house clean. I don’t know of anyone who would go the extra mile like that without being asked. They took time to educate me on the product after it was installed and were very friendly and personable throughout the process. As they say, you get what you pay for, and for the level of service provided, it was well worth the cost.

Never returns calls even after they come out and and tell you they will work out an estimate. It's amazing there in business at all.

Initially had issues with service performed at my home in 2018, once I brought these issues up with the company owner, Matt, he took full ownership and responsibility for the issues at hand and apologized. He explained the situation and resolved the issues in a quick and efficient manner. For this reason I am changing my rating to 5 stars as I truly believe this company cares about its customers and would do anything possible to amend an unsatisfactory situation. The guys at Sterling's Plumbing are the best to be had. Sometimes they don't show up exactly when they say they will, but scheduling is difficult because they don't know how much trouble they will run into, but overall, they arrive when they say they will and their work, which is the important part is always A+

Our water heater pilot light went out and wouldn't relight. We had an appointment with another company and they didn't show - Accurate Plumbing was booked but they squeezed us in AND showed up in the promised time frame. So so happy to have a hot water after a few days without!

Very thankful for Jess and her team. She went over the options of what type of piping would be suitable for my home and which would be best during the winter. During the consultation/quote she noticed other issues with the home and showed pictures of the concerns she had. She also pointed out that with my home being an older home it was not up to code on a couple of items. She was very thorough in describing the work that had to be done and I was pleased with what was all included. She showed pictures of all the work that was completed in the crawl space. Knowing beforehand that getting plumbing work done on my home wasn't going to be cheap. I was totally happy with the price of the work that was done and the quality of work that came with it. Had a pipe start leaking and water coming through my family room ceiling at 10:30 on a Saturday night. They showed up in about an hour and took care of the leak with minimal damage to the house.
