Best Home Repair in Columbus OH

Update: Owner called shortly after my review to discuss his reasoning behind his practice of charging for estimates. While I still do not agree with his reasoning, I am going to update (for now) to 4 stars. Further updates may be made after our scheduled appointment tomorrow.

Not sure of other aspects of this business but 120 dollars to come out for an estimate? No thank you. Called for an estimate for a french drain and was told I'd have to pay. Doesn't seem very smart when I've now lined up 3 other contractors with just as good reviews and they're all free.

Young man was knowledgeable, courteous and expedient! I would appreciate it if he was sent to our house the next time I need service from Waterworks. He is definitely a testament to the quality of your company. Thanks so much!

One of the best customer service experiences to date, supper kind and helpful. You can tell they actually care about the work and quality job they perform. Steve Baumann did an incredible job explaining everything from pricing to taking the time to explain things in a simpler context for me to understand. A very well run, well orchestrated business that definitely has a firm grip on their entire field. I definitely recommend this company to anyone and everyone, you won’t be disappointed!

Nick and his partner did a great job at fixing our plumbing in the bathroom. A new main stack needed to be installed and the old one removed, new pipes ran from the stack out to toilet, shower and sink. They put the toilet back in place and installed the new vanity cabinet and faucet. The leaks and blockage in our pipes that occurred due to the handyman we had do our shower was corrected, too. They did a great job!

The worst company I have ever deal with. They never got the job done and just took the money and not answering my call. Stay away

Had a kitchen sink not draining correctly and had to have the down stream line cleared. Mitch showed up and was able to clear it pretty quickly. He also had noticed while gaining access the air pressure valve seemed to be misbehaving which could have been partially to blame for the fact the contents were not flushing well enough to the main. He was able to clean it up to get it working properly and also was kind enough to educate me on its function all while coming across as very personable. I would not hesitate to use this company again if I ever needed.

How can I rate NEGATIVE 1 million and 1? Absolutely WORST PLUMBER EVER!!!! Beyond bad customer service NOT friendly or helpful IN ANYWAY. Truly did not appreciate my business, could have cared less. And, this was all over phone BECAUSE AFTER SCHEDULING APPOINTMENT THEY NO CALLED/NO SHOWED and when I called to inquire I was HUNG UP on.

Sometime later I did receive a call from Pat. He showed up pretty quickly and was in and out pretty quick. And did provide satisfactory service. Thankfully it worked out.

I spoke with them as they closed yesterday and they came first thing this morning. I'd had faulty work done by a friend and instead of blaming me for it, they were extra kind. They fixed everything and were nicer than I could have expected. I highly recommend this place.

David and his assistant were very professional, courteous and personable. They were meticulous and did a great job with our project in the time frame quoted at a very reasonable price. I've relied on The Local Plumber LLC twice now - water heater install and also to mend a leaking pipe - and both times were exceptional. Trevor was responsive and quick to get me on his schedule, his prices are fair and most important - he is honest and looks out for you. When he installed our water heater, he went above and beyond by checking the surrounding area and found an exhaust pipe that had disintegrated and was leaking carbon monoxide. He didn't have to take that extra step, but I am so grateful that he did, for our safety! He explains your options well and doesn't pressure you. And he's just a genuinely kind, sharp and capable guy. He's who we will always call first!

We worked with Sean over the phone he was professional, friendly, and scheduled our new water heater install. Joe the technician showed up on time and did an amazing job! I recommend MB if you have a plumbing issue!
