Fritz Baumann Plumbers repaired a leaking pipe behind my washing machine and reconfigured piping under tub. Technician Blair was able to troubleshoot the problem areas quickly and solved my plumbing problems. Both plumbers were professional and very knowledgeable. So glad I contacted Fritz Baumann & Sons. I would highly recommend them.

Outdoor spigot fix. First guy that came out, Jim, was the rudest,most unprofessional repairman I’ve ever been around.
Refused to take his shoes off to come in the house bc he wears ‘arch supports.’
Fine just throw ur boot covers on.
‘I don’t have any.’
So apparently he thinks it’s ok to track mud and dirt and the outdoors all through one’s house.
Owner did call and apologize. Which was nice.
Different plumber came out and installed new spigot.
Great. Except the next day come to find out it’s been dripping.
All night.
And it sounds like someone is breaking rocks into gravel each time I turn it on.
A truly awful experience.

He's the pro I worked with. Good work! From planning to the actual appointment, the customer experience was excellent from start to finish! I appreciate you explaining the problem with my shower not working properly and I am also grateful for explaining the various repair options. This will save your contact and most likely reuse it. I have worked with two other plumbing companies and they were not as good as this company!

I highly recommend Eddie. He fixed several issues I had and kept me informed about what was wrong, why, and how it'd be fixed. It's hard finding someone you can trust to do repairs at times, but with Eddie I felt I needn't worry. I'll definitely be calling him for future plumbing needs and won't hesitate to recommend him to anyone!

Both the gentleman who explained our options for a water heater and the gentleman who installed the water heater were very professional and answered all the questions we had. Very pleasant dealing with both these men as well as the office person.

Around the end of Dec. I contacted Cantrell for a diagnostic after noticing water on the floor where the hot water heater is located (they did the replacement I recalled the diagnostic trip charge was about $80).The tech stated he was in the immediate vicinity.Upon his arrival the first thing that struck me as unprofessional was that he glanced at my shoes on the landing,my bare feet, and continued up the white stairs and across my hard wood floors in his muddy boots.He turned off the main water, placed his finger in the drip pan and stated it couldn't be the water heater because the water in the pan was cold. He asked me to plug the kitchen sink, fill it with water, and then unplug. We were about 5 feet from each other and when I unplugged the sink I noticed the water begin to rise in a tube in the laundry room.He suggested I remove the water from the drip pan with a towel and bucket.I placed a liner in the trash and he removed the liner stating in a sarcastic tone doesn't it make sense? (to remove the liner). He wrapped up by stating it would cost $140 to snake (plus the trip charge fee), to call in the am, and left, all within 15 minutes tops.I resolved with drano.On 1/18 I received an invoice for $265.At 4:43pm I called the office and spoke with an Eleanor who stated that can't be right....we charge $70 for the trip charge and $68/hr for services. She said the trip charge could sometimes double on weekends..understandable but still didn't add up($140, $208 tops).She asked for the initials on the description, I told her TR, she responded oh, the owner I will have to call you back on Monday. No return call but I received a duplicate bill with $265 highlighted in bold.I contacted several plumbers and their response was a $265 15 min diagnostic trip charge was far from standard, even excessive. Inconsistent pay practices? Beware

BCI Mechanical was super easy to work with, flexible around my schedule and needs, and they did the work smarter and cheaper than other big name contractors that I had give me a quote on the work. They fixed a larger drain issue under my kitchen sink that had arisen recently.

There was a scheduling error (that worked out in my favor), but other than that, these guys were flawless to work with, and my tech Tony was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and was overly concerned with making sure the work was done right and how I expected it to be done. I'm glad to finally have a dependable, affordable solution here in Columbus that I can depend on, and I'll definitely be calling them back for more work.

Very professional and punctual! Their team does not work on commission like Roto Rooter, so they did not try to up-sell me on any plumbing services. In fact, they came up with solutions for the installation of my dog wash tub and gas fireplace logs (they are licensed to work on gas lines) that saved me money.
